The salad was delicious, but the ribeye was super fatty. The mashed potatoes were not good to me. On a positive note, it was very thick, juicy, and seasoned well. The food is always delicious- although I find it pretty salty for my taste especially when the food starts getting cold. But the complimentary truffle popcorn is a great starter and so delicious. I highly recommend the Avocado + Bruschetta appetizer. I’m not a big cheese person but the bread that comes out with it has gooey bits of cheese that is so outstanding. The last time I came here, we had a waitress shadowing our waitress and both were SUPERB. Later on in the night, the shadowing waitress just became our sole server and it must have been her first few days on the job but she was outstanding and really outdid herself. I always have a great time here- thank you for the delicious food and special memories.

It was served with a veggies that were saturated in grease and then they put a huge helping of butter on top of it making it even greasier. The grease ran into my steak. The steak would have been excellent if it was served with something without oil and butter. See pic. Our server had a large table inside and was busy with them and did not come back to check to see how the food tasted. When she finally did I was just ready to leave. Again, she was very nice, apologized, and offered to get me something different. They may have just been having an off night. I would give them a second chance.

But while driving around on a Sunday evening, we decided to give it a try. I really like the concept of being served one of their menu item hamburgers and then being able to add fresh toppings and condiments from the serving bar. My wife and I both ordered the bacon cheeseburger - her's with onion rings and mine with fries. She only added onions from the topping bar but I loaded mine up with onions, lettuce, pickles and tomato. Since we ordered "to go", I grabbed ketchup, ranch and Bobby's sauce from the condiment station. We were staying about five minutes away so the burgers were still hot and fresh. She was pleased with her onion rings but I was less impressed with the fries. The taste was OK but they were a bit soggy and I don't think that was due to our order being takeout. The business hours are clearly visible on Google. It's 7:39PM on a Saturday. The doors are locked and the workers are breaking down the toppings counter as I type. The cold cooled the wings fast. It would definitely improved the experience if the sauce had been warmed prior to being put on the wings. They were decently covered in the sauce. Flavor...definitely good. Not much of the spicy/habanero flavor though...mostly mango. Would have been better if it had had a bit of spice. So next up was the darn hot wings. The sauce on these...warm the way it should be. Well....the bit that was there. The wings weren't covered too well with it. There was a bit of a puddle of it so I would rub the wings in it first. Definitely not darn hot. The flavor I did get was good flavor, just no spice. It was at very best medium. The fries were cooked well and had the expected flavor. I've heard that the pizza and burgers are really good and I'd like to try them. Would I return? For sure! The outstanding service that Kirsten delivers and all makes up for it. I feel if you spend money to have a professional cook your food you should get, much better results! This isn’t only this restaurant, but many other restaurants. If you’re going to pay a lot for food it should be better quality than what you can make at home! Overall the cost isn’t worth the results. Place was busy but not overly so. We were seated fairly quickly and our server arrived quickly after. She was very polite and friendly. I asked if they would put it into 2 containers like the Mac and when I open the containers this is what they consider two orders (see photo). Now the Mac was full to the brim. I wish I would have took the one and filled the other to the top so you could really see the difference but I took the picture to show exactly how I got it. What makes this so bad is the awkwardness it took and the looks I got when I brought the issue up at the counter so it’s not like they were busy it was like 3:30pm. Hadn't been in a Hooters in years but friends wanted wings and it was close by. Was a Sunday afternoon and not too crowded. Lively- lots of chatter and variety of football games on TVs around the restaurant. Our waitress was great and dug up some paper menus for my friends who refuse to go digital. Worth noting- food items and pricing on old school menu not the same as digital. Not all options available and prices increased so if you use a paper menu be advised. Friends expected a $15 lunch for wings & fries and got bills closer to $25. Regardless, they paid it and devoured them. They have talked for a week about how delicious the wings were. I opted for a burger. The one I wanted didn't come dressed as on the menu (paper) anymore so I pivoted and built my own bacon cheddar burger. So delicious and juicy- made a complete mess which is the best kind of burger. Side of tots completed it and they were some of the best I've had and perfectly cooked. A good flow of people coming in and out the whole time, and the bar seating stayed full. Our only negative was the long wait for food to arrive at our table, but overall well worth the wait. We'll be back soon!

So by the time I get home the food isn’t mixed and everything is stuck together by cold cheese so it doesn’t mix at all. All the empty tables were not cleared off or cleaned so we had to sit at a random table and wait for someone to come clean it. The only thing that kept me from giving this experience a 1 star today was our server, she was pleasant and sweet and attentive and our orders were done right, fast and efficiently. I didn’t get her name but she was a brunette with some tattoos including a cool red/pink one on her arm. We usually go to the one on Dixie Ave and 41 but they’re closed for remodeling and that place is always spot on food and service wise so I’m spoiled. Last time we came to this one though it was certainly run better. The difference is last time I was there around lunch time and today we came in around 10am.

Had seen online that The Local Bar and Grill had good wings so I figured I'd check them out. So I parked in the their parking lot and entered in there on that side. It's a small place so there's not a whole lot of seating to choose from. This day seemed to be pretty busy as every seat at the bar was full. The lady behind the bar was handling the whole place. Even with that...she did an excellent job. This is a bar so don't expect some nice fancy place. I've had bar food several times in several different places and it can range from blah to that's some good stuff I'll be back. Overall here...I'll be back! First off, the wings. I wanted their hottest sauce and.....they were out. So I went with the next best thing and it was called Hot Yaki. The sauce was very tasty. Sweet with a hint of spicy. The wings had a decent about of meatiness to them...a bit more compared to others around (even the wing places). Next up the burger and onion rings. The onion rings were perfectly cooked and had real onion in them. They were exactly what you want in an onion ring. Flavor was spot on. The burger I had bacon added. The burger again was great! Only draw back is it was a bit overcooked/charred. I had to knock the char off and then was perfect. The lady that was handling the whole place did great taking care of me and all the others. Everything I asked for she had to me within a minute or 2. She was very personable/friendly. Service is given lower rating due to the following information otherwise would have been 5 star service. I only had a couple of actual hang-ups. The burger and onions rings should have been $10 according plus $1 for bacon. They charged $9.95 for the burger and then charged $.50 for bacon and $.50 for cheese (cheese was supposed to be part of the $10). Effectively, that part was about the same (technically $.05 cheaper). The wings were supposed to be $8 for 5 wings, they charged $9. So here, they are charging $1 more than what's listed on the menu.
