We came across this diamond! The location wasn’t in the heart of the district, but on a side street close to the park in a plaza of shops Upon entering, we were asked if we wanted to go on the rooftop. At first, I had high expectations because the atmosphere was very nice! Beautiful decor lots of characters and seemingly good choices on the menu. To my surprise the coffee I got was honestly really bad… granted I make espresso at home so I have higher standards with coffee but I’d still expect at least decent coffee for 6 dollars. Now the food was very interesting it looked very promising but had absolutely no flavor no seasoning to be quite blunt it tasted more like cardboard than anything else. The one very good thing was the sorbet slushy! It was very nice and refreshing would recommend. Other than the food being bad the customer service was also below average in my opinion I suppose it could’ve just been a bad day for them but it still would’ve been nice to at least get a smile. I don’t think I’d come again but again it may have just been a bad day so I won’t say I won’t recommend it because I didn’t try the pastries which looked very good but again I don’t know. Food was going to the wrong people because people have similar sounding names. They got our order wrong and they said it would take a long time to fix it so they just left us with the wrong order and said to make sure the cashier understood our order next time. The pizza this time was not flavorful and too greasy, and the almond croissants, which had been amazing last time were very soggy and doughy. Light crowd at first, but steady stream of customers came in, with a near full house by the time we were finishing. Despite the activity, service was great - friendly and attentive staff and we had both appetizers and entrees with almost no wait time. The food was delicious and gorgeous - you can see in the photos the care that was taken for an appealing presentation. And some very skilled knife work - the cucumber slices in the appetizer are almost transparent with delicate cuts. Nice portions; we definitely had some take home bits at the end. And as a nice touch, the containers were actually watertight - if you’ve ever had a leaky styrofoam tray full of sauce covered take home food, you’ll appreciate that detail! Food: I ordered the Sister Roll (pictured) for the appetizer - Salmon, Avocado, Scallion and Masago with thin Cucumber shell and Ponzu dressing. Beautiful and a near perfect mix of taste and texture. For entree, I got the Sea of Love Roll (pictured). It’s a Spicy roll with asparagus, avocado, scallions, masago, seared tuna, crunchy flakes, and specialty sauce. Great sauce. Would buy a bottle if they sold it at checkout. Again absolutely amazing look, glad I remembered to get the photo before diving in. The new people that came in at 7 sat at the bar and we're advised that the kitchen closes at 8, they had to teach the bartender how to make simple mixed drinks. This restaurant was found between our venue and motel. The food is above average for sure. The smoked ribs had a great smoky flavor even without sauce. I had a wonderful chicken salad, photo. Everything was scrumptious! It reminded me of a local modern Cracker Barrel. Very cozy and farm house decorated with a modern flare, I love it! Probably not... I can only hope the pizza would be better, or that they actually listen to feedback, and will consider seasoning their pizza sauce accordingly. No photos bc it was over 2 hrs into my hunger pangs and I didn't even think about it. Price is reasonable for what u get.

I was presented awards & attained certification as a cook in that establishment & I can tell you that from how this looks & tastes, its either recooked leftovers or the Wok they use is burnt, possibly rusted, NEVER cleaned between batch cooks, or BOTH. I even tried to salvage these noodles that cost $15 by washing the lomein in a big pot of hot water, but soon as I seen the color remained after I dropped them in a pot of hot water & strained them, I knew theres no way to make these noodles edible. I'm actually so disgusted I couldn't even manage a call to request they attempt to fix this. I won't return & I hope this deters others from wasting their hard earned money
