A fantastic experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a friendly smile and seated right away. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. It’s always nice when service feels genuine, and that’s exactly what we experienced here.
The breakfast menu had a great selection of options, making it hard to choose! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. We tried the classic breakfast with toast, on the side fluffy pancakes with local maple syrup, and treated ourselves to a matcha pistachio latte and a Mexican mocha latte — everything was delicious and beautifully presented!
A special shoutout to our waitress, Hailey, who made the whole experience even better. She was so friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her warm service really set the tone for a perfect morning.

We got here at 11:30 when they opened up and our server was the best. We had fish n chips as it is a special on Thursdays and a buffalo chicken wrap. This is such a great place to dine in the lovely town of Grand Bend. We went to have an early dinner during a long weekend.Their great menu is the reason we chose this place with plenty of shareable options, appetizers,wraps,pastas and sides.we were greeted by the host/server who was really nice and attentive.We ordered English style fish and chips accompanied by curry sauce as an extra side, and south western style grilled chicken wrap with coleslaw. The quantity of both the dishes were a lot for both of us to finish. Everything tasted so delicious, flavors balanced to perfection, ingredients were fresh and the house special curry sauce was out of this world . You have the option of replacing the default sides with other sides in the menu(prices may or may not apply). For the beverages we ordered the IPA and brown ale, which were good too. If not for the natural beauty of Grand bend, the Paddington pub is surely a reason to visit the town. Thank you for the great service.

Stopped in here on a whim today as we were just driving by. Usually I have these things pre planned but today I walked in with zero expectations.
We were just leaving the beach & had a group of 11. So I wasn’t expecting to get in anywhere without a reservation. But the back patio was wide open & fit us all! The staff was all so amazing. I can’t say enough about our waitress either. She was dynamite!
The food took about 40 min. Which was absolutely understandable. We were a big group on a random Monday so they were doing their best.
All of our food was piping hot & the portions were great!! They had a lot of unique items to choose from as well.
We started with the cheese dip. It was served with garlic naan and it was huge hit with everyone! I would recommend ordering extra naan with it tho.
For the main I went with the fried haddock & basmati rice. It was so delicious! Highly recommend.
My husband had the Buffalo wrap which was also amazing. They didn’t use franks hot sauce & so many places do! So it was a nice change.
Our son went with the chicken finger meal & it was a ton of food! Pretty standard meal but the portion was great.
Overall it was a wonderful experience & definitely recommend checking out this little gem if you’re in the area.

Cozy atmosphere (tent outside with tinkley lights, white linen tablecloth and napkins etc. Pictured are chocolate mousse, coconut cream pie and pistachio gelato chocolate chip cookie sandwich (all house made). Lamb bolognese and a buttermilk fried chicken Buddah bowl and Caesar salad with a homemade parmesan bread stick (instead of croutons). The breadstick was an awesome twist on the traditional crouton or breadstick. It was hot, crispy on the outside and soft/pillowy on the inside. Yum!

Walk in for a rare date night with husband ona reservation. 7 tables open inside alone. We are directed to a little table right by the door. We asked for any other table please, and the hostess went to check in the back. Somehow not at the reservation book up front. Came back and said no - sorry you have to sit here .So there we sat. Food was okay. Appetizer was lukewarm. We got accidentally bumped into by the next three tables that came in and sat elsewhere, an upper room, or out on the patio. Took an hour and 45 minutes while at least 3 of the tables across from us sat empty throughout. Seriously poor marks for inconsiderate service ….

Midori has always been one of our favourite spots, the sushi is amazing with vibes to match, but the new owners have taken it to another level of perfection! The food is exquisite!! And there is now an oyster bar in the basement! I could ramble on and on, but you just need to go! 100/10 highly recommend. Honestly, the meal was on par with anything you could get in Toronto or Vancouver.

I recently checked out Midori Sushi in Grand Bend, and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The Blueberry Hoisin Habanero wings were a standout—perfect balance of sweet and mild heat, with a surprise crunch from the candied fennel. The wings were absolutely massive too! The shrimp tempura was light and crispy, just melting in your mouth.
The sushi was top-notch, especially the Over the Rainbow Roll—fresh tuna, salmon, and avocado. Don't skip on this roll. The Dynamite and Pay It Forward Rolls are a MUST TRY too. To finish, we had mochi balls for dessert, and they were delicious.
Great service and a fantastic spot for sushi lovers. I’ll definitely be back!

This was our first visit to Midori with our friends and we loved it!! They guys had the chicken burgers with tempura sweet potato which was absolutely delicious and we shared the 2 sushi dishes. We started with the tornado potato and the wings for apps they were so good and the sauce is not hot or spicy it’s a perfect combination of flavours! Small sushi restaurant in Grand Bend. Came here for dinner on a Saturday night. Inside they have a few tables. I booked a reservation prior to coming and recommend that anyone else do the same. We were served by Steele. Steele had excellent knowledge of the menu, and made great recommendations. He was also prompt with any requests we made. Midori has a unique drink menu which peaked my interest as I was eager to try the local wines. Directly outside the restaurant you will find limited street parking. The restaurant is very close to the main strip in Grand Bend and within walking distance to most places. Overall, it was a great experience and will be returning if ever in Grand Bend and in the mood for sushi.

Had lunch today. I have to say the sushi was incredible. We had the dumplings and vegetable Tempura as an appetizer. Dumplings were ethically delicious. Tempura was made to perfection. They even had tempura asparagus.
The specialty rolls we had were the Big Dill, Dynamite, One Love with spicy mayo instead of the curry, and Mount Fuji. Presentation was beautiful and taste was outstanding. Each roll was different, and super flavourful.
Sarah, our server was very attentive and friendly. Her menu suggestions were top-notch.
Well, worth the money spent. And the drinks were delicious lol. We each had two.
We’ll definitely return. Also very happy that they’re open round since we are locals.

We booked a table for our anniversary and we very pleased. Normally we would have dined on the lower patio but it was a bit rainy. The indoor dining area is tired and lacks a warm and cosy atmosphere. It is quite noisy and makes conversation difficult. Ot just needs a good renovation with something on the floor to deadening the sounds from other di news. Apart from that the sushi was delicious fresh and nicely presented. We enjoyed some wine and Sapporo on tap. Taylor our server could not have been nicer. She was helpful with our order and was charming and engaging and a real asset to the establishment! She even decorated our dessert platter with an anniversary wish herself! In short she made our dinner a real special event. Of course we would recommend this as a dining option and hope to return again soon. If you like sushi it is the best you can get in the area!

Came here for 2 dinners in a row with my husband and 1 year old while we stayed at the lodge.
The brownie was incredible, one of the best I have had (and I'm a baker).
The nachos were also delicious but should be a smaller size ( was enough to feed 5 people minimum).
The garden rigatoni was also really good and my baby loved it. Tried 2 burgers and they were just okay. Some items are a little pricey but the portions are large.
This place is really accommodating for a family with a young one and the server we had for both nights was really nice and thoughtful.

Service was fine, wait times were okay.
Big issue I had was when my food came out after 20+ minutes the plate was scolding hot, my veggies were dehydrated and my dipping sauce was cooked.
Instantly told me the food was just put in the microwave.
Tried my wings anyways…flavourless, dry, and just tasted like charred microwaved chicken.
Extremely disappointed as none of my food was even remotely edible.
Worst part was none of the staff aside from our server even cared to ask or address the issue.
I’m not a picky eater but this food was atrociously disgusting, and the lack of care was enough for me to never return.
Seeing as if I had paid for my meal it would have been 40+$ for that quality of food is insane,
Highly recommend avoiding this place as we took a chance after reading about frozen / microwaved food and it did not pay off.

The Grand Bend 'Dennys' offers a Thai takeout that is by far the best in the area.
We ordered the 3 fresh rolls, which were HUGE, and the chicken satay spiced perfectly alongside a delicious fresh salad. The spring roll sauce, the peanut sauce for the satay, and the salad dressing were to die for!
I discovered this gem a few weeks ago and couldn't wait to go back with my husband today.
We will be back!
The only downfall is there is no inside seating, but use this as an opportunity to get the takeout and find a sweet picnic spot!

You visited on Canada Day at 1:00 p.m.. there were plenty of parking spaces and tables available. We took a table under the awning. It was a nice and cool area to sit and have lunch. Dogs are allowed and there is a water bowl for them by the counter. This place place has combination of Thai food and traditional drive-in food. came for lunch and we ordered a cheeseburger with a poutine and a 2 piece fish and chips. the food came out quickly and at a great temperature. they also have a great dog friendly patio to sit on while you eat.

The place is very near the Grand Bend beach. It is not overlooking at the beach but we love the ambience of the restaurant.
The retro pop-culture theme is on point. The price is not cheap but its worth it.
The serving is big and even their kids menu has a very generous serving. All the food are delicious but the Ravioli Carbonara is my favorite.
My kids love the food and the place as well.
They have 2 washroom (one is for disabled and with baby changing area) Kid-friendly as they have kids menu and baby high-chair.
The staff and friendly and serving was fast.

During our recent visit, we sampled a variety of dishes including their crab cake, chicken pesto sandwich, chicken quesadillas, and shrimp tacos, accompanied by a few drinks. Visited on a sunny Saturday afternoon after the rush hour for drinks after seeing an instagram post. We grabbed a seat by the sidewalk to observe all the passersby. You can also see people enjoying themselves in the water from a distance. The vibe can’t get better!
The local beer and the cocktail my server picked for me are both great. We only ordered a crab cake to munch on and it’s very well seasoned.
I am sure this place will be packed as our weather turns warmer, so you might want to time your visit right to avoid the crowds.

The Brussels sprouts were a little too sweet for me. The club sandwich didn't stand out for me. I had a great experience dining at Chuck’s during my recent trip to Grand Bend. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a casual evening out.
I started with the Spicy Margarita, and it did not disappoint — bold, flavorful, and with just the right kick. I loved the heat; it was a great twist on a classic cocktail.
For the main course, I ordered the New York Steak, which came with corn and fries (I swapped the fries for a Caesar salad). Every time I visit grand bend, chucks is a go-to. Each time I’ve been served by amazing waiters but my best experience was more recently with the waiter Neetu.
I had all my questions answered and all my food was brought to me quickly despite rush hour. The team works well together to control the flow of the rush.

My potatoes were soggy and cold and the cereal that came on the kids board was soft and very very stale. They're more of a soft bready texture but proper traditional croissants are super flaky, theirs weren't bad but don't go in expecting the french style ones. Great service and smiling faces as well. I've gone to this restaurant a few times starting years ago so when it was still called Skeeter Barlows. The food was always pretty good especially the deluxe burger (forget the actual name). But the service was always very lacking. The wait staff would always be too busy hovering around the tables of regular customers chatting it up and tables of larger parties (probably hoping for a higher tip) but would completely ignore the table of 1 or 2 except for taking an order or bringing food. Would always have to ask for a drink refill or the bill! I've been to a lot of sit down restaurants in my life with bad experiences but this place will always stand out for the worst wait staff experience. After, she walked pasted and said she would grab to more waters and never returned with them. Then as soon as we finished she appeared at our table with the bill. By this point I was very upset and I told my husband he was absolutely not leaving a tip. We are usually very good tippers as I myself am a server but I honestly have never been treated like this anywhere in my life. So unfortunately we will not be returning or ever be recommending this restaurant.

So we visited Riverview pizza for lunch after our swim and the beach and we were not disappointed.
We very greeted and seated by our hostesses who was warm and welcoming.
We ordered 2 large pizzas, a pound of wings, some garlic bread and a kids pizza.(which was served with a side of fries.)
The pizzas took about 20-25 mins but they when they arrived I realised why they took so much time.
The pizzas were freshly made and they were both delicious. The wings were decent too.
It also made me happy to know that this was a family owned business and this was being operated since 30 years.
Kudos for keeping the quality intact.

Our group of 6 arrived and during that time they were busy and had some issues in the back. Hands down one of the most disappointing pizza experiences I’ve had and we paid $60 for it (2 mediums + 1 small gluten-free). Total waste of money.
The crust was ridiculously thick, dry, and chewy more like underbaked bread than pizza. The toppings were sparse and thrown on without any care. One slice had some sad pineapple and green pepper with barely any cheese. Another slice was drenched in some weird white sauce that made the whole thing taste like soggy cardboard.
The gluten-free pizza was slightly better, but still nothing to write home about.
For $60, you’d expect decent quality. What we got instead felt like leftovers thrown together in a rush. Nothing about this meal was satisfying not the crust, not the toppings, not even the presentation. Honestly, you’d get better quality at a frozen pizza aisle.
Would never order again. Save your money and your appetite.

Very little to no sauce at all. The taste is completely wrong especially when my kid says this is gross knowing she loves Pizza Delight, she loves every other location but this one.
I would highly recommend you ask for extra sauce, maybe you'll get some sauce then.

This is always a pet peeve of mine, when the toppings stop 2 to 3 inches from the edge. The next thing I noticed is when I picked up my first slice, the toppings did not slide off the pizza. They also did not cheap out on the toppings. I was going to stop at two or three slices and take the rest home with me. But it was so good. I just could not stop myself and finish the entire pizza and half of the Cheesy breadsticks. But I did not stop there. I decided to sample their dessert and ordered the brownie with ice cream. It was served on a sizzling skillet. And it was amazing! Would I recommend this restaurant? 100% Although it is a fair distance away, I will be making this one of my regular stops. There was nothing about my encounter that I would have changed or corrected. Thank you so much to the staff at Pizza Delight for the amazing experience!

Amazing food and service. We had a large party approximately 13 people and the service was fast and friendly. I wish I had the chance to grab a photo of my meal but the fish and chips was amazing. The breading on the fish was light and crispy, and everything was fresh and you could tell the owner Ash puts a lot of heart into his food. I recommend the onion rings, or the fish tacos (which had a spicy fresh salsa on top), and the fish and chips. The server who was working was so patient with our group (we had several children), and provided a wonderful experience for us. There is no other option but the buffet which is fine! The Buffet starts at 5 pm, as stated! We were in the area and were looking for a home cooked kind of feeling. We found it at MacPherson’s! The parking lot is very big, ample parking. You can also gas up while here.
It was not busy when we first got there around 3:30pm or so but not too long after, car after drove in for dinner. The front of the restaurant is smaller as it shares the space with a general store. But there is a large seating area for the restaurant behind the main space.
Our waitress was super friendly and fun to speak with.
We had the Chicken Ciabatta sandwich which was made with a real chicken breast! It was delicious! We also had the Cuban Sandwich which was pretty tasty as well. The fries were scrumptious as was the soup.
It was fun looking through their general store and gift shop. We recommend you stop for sure!

2 light fixtures in the room didn't always come on....but you get what you pay for....it was half the price of other hotels. The bonus was, it was close to the wedding we were attending. close to Grand Bend, Pinery Provincial park and Ipperwash beach.

We each ordered one each not realizing the magnitude of everything they were going to throw at us. Gigantic portions, deep and flavorful sauces, melt in your mouth potatoes (not mashed btw). Coleslaw which should be renamed to "Cole's Law" because it will change the laws of coleslaw if the general public is made aware of the recipe.

We booked a 5 day 4 night stay here for our honeymoon and had the best time! The staff were super friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay extra special. This is for dining only. We visited for lunch on a weekday. We were one of the only tables in the dining room. It appeared recently renovated and the booth benches were very comfortable. Food was excellent every meal for each guy was done perfectly. Steak was excellent also.
Golf, if you decide to go keep this in mind. Our goal was to get together with friends have fun and make memories. That was accomplished. If you’re are going to experience a nice course, this is not it. I have never played on worse tee boxes ever, same position each day and beat up big time.
The fairways are watered but hard as rocks, I think I had one divot the entire time.
Greens are beyond unpredictable, you can hit a lob wedge 60 yards high and soft and great chance it will bounce and run off, be prepared to play bump and run all day, pitch into the first cut and hope. When you try to putt the greens are like putting at a carnival. Read the putt and it will not be true, the reason being the cups have been in the same place so long they are swollen at the hole and very rough at the cup, it will roll your ball away and to the other side.
Would I go again, yes I would but knowing I’m going for a time out with the guys, but not so much to play a nice course and hit some good shots expecting to be rewarded for the proper play. They also do not tell you that you can play another course close by with your package, that would have been nice to hear from them not people who learned that lesson the hard way. With very little effort they could make this a much better course having seed and sand on tee boxes and move things around.
Had a great time with my friends but don’t expect much from the course it’s self.

I have been going to forest for a few years now, 2-3 x a year. There is a few of us that all go multiple times throughout the season. This year was by far one of the worst experiences I’ve had. We have a group that comes to stay, and we book a year in advance specifically for this stay every year. This year the pro shop manager was completely un-organized, rude and had terrible communication skills. There was no tee time organization, the tee times were poorly managed and so slow. I was stuck behind three large groups of 6+ people who were taking 30-45minutes on one hole. We were restricted on tee times and forced to repeatedly play the nine, on an unlimited golf package.
The restaurant servers were also extremely non-personable, rude and unapproachable. I did not have a very good experience when asked if I was able to have breakfast.
I have always praised forest and have recommended them to so many people, customer service has always been great, I don’t know what’s going on this year! But they really dropped the ball! Our group decided it might be time to find a new place to go.

My Fiancé had her bachelorette party go golfing Friday around lunch time 2 weeks ago. She booked 2 tee times slots for 6 people and the club house said that was OK. They where 20 minutes early than their tee time and the starter started giving them a hard time for being late even though they didn’t have golf carts ready for them yet. They then played 9 holes in 2 hours. Nobody was waiting on them or asked to play through and when they came back to the club house she was verbally harassed by Allan. I called and left a message 2 weeks ago to talk to the manager and not one call back. I would not recommend golfing there and I definitely will not be playing there again nor will my wife or any of my family or friends. Not very professional from the starter or the management for trying to get in touch with me about the situation.

Poorly laid out; poorly maintained. We literally couldn’t find some of the holes, as they were not clearly marked. The 4th hole had “hole # 4” scribbled on the ball washer in sharpie. C’mon, people…spend some money. Put up some hole markers…with some info about each hole…and a proper tee box set up.
You charge typical golf prices; at least make the course typical to match.

Called in an order said 15-20 minutes on the phone, show up and they didn’t even have the order right, they didn’t have it under the right name, and when they did find the right name they still had it wrong. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. The management here — especially the owner — was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. The system accepted my offer, and even the staff member redeemed it correctly, yet the manager started yelling at their own employee and refused to honor it.
If the system allows the offer, why refuse it and then tell customers to “go somewhere else”? That’s completely unacceptable and reflects very poor customer service. I truly feel sorry for the employees who have to work under such unpleasant management. This kind of behavior is disappointing and reflects badly on the restaurant.

On Sept 1 we ordered 2 foot long subway sandwiches. If I knew that the bread was not cooked fully I would have returned them. Inside the bread it was sticky and doughy and gave me terrible indigestion. It was unfortunate I discovered this late because of the sauces it was not initially evident.
Plus I suspect the bread is not healthy in the first place. At one time there were ingredients that were similar to yoga mats and band in Europe. Show us the ingredient list in your bread!
I will never return to Subway plus it is an American company. Mr Sub is the Canadian version.

We were recently staying at a cottage in Ipperwash and our host recommended we try this pizza while there and oh boy are we glad we did!! It was LOADED with toppings and so flavourful. We got a BBQ Chicken, an Everything and a class cheese for the kiddos as well as wings (boneless and bone in, mild) and all of them were amazing. My father in law was blown away with the everything, it was so heavy because it was so loaded with toppings. Service was fast and friendly! It did take us a few times to get through on the phone, but once our order was placed it was only 25mins. This will now be an Ipperwash staple for us.

I spent the long weekend close by and decided to pick up a Classic Canadian Pizza & Cinnamon Apple fingers!
I'm from the Toronto area and have tried so many pizza places locally; hands down the pizza they served me was the best Canadian Pizza I've had. Cooked to perfection, loaded with real bacon, but not greasy and oily like most pizzas can be with bacon. Toppings stayed on the pizza while taking bites and the sauce to cheese ratio was 👌also the pepperoni was top tier!
Cinnamon Apple fingers were amazing! Usually getting a dessert style pie ends up soaked in grease. Not the case with this at all. The icing served; leveled it up!

We have been ordering from Joey Littles for the last 8 years and it’s no issues. Today we were so disappointed. Placed our order and they asked if we wanted it delivered. I said yes and was told about 30 minutes. After 45 called and was told they r were very busy but the driver left 15 minutes ago. Ok great. 30 minutes later still nothing so I called again and was told he just left will be there soon but at this point I decided to cancel. As I was cancelling the delivery guy showed up so my husband paid him and came inside. I opened the bag that had the wings and the containers were all crushed. Ok no biggie. I see the pizza box is crushed too. I open it and the pizza is stuck to the top of the box. I call them to let them know and can send pictures. I was told since we paid and took it there is nothing they can do. I was taken aback and said we can’t eat the pizza. He said well u took it. I asked if he loomed his pizza box when he got delivery before letting the delivery person leave and he laughed. He said well can’t send the pictures and can’t do anything for us. So after 8 years of being loyal customers it was very disappointing that they didn’t care. Service is what keeps costumers and we will be sharing the poor service with all our friends who order from them.

I was looking for a nice laid back place for breakfast before performing at the Forest Fall Fair and I found it here!
I was surprised by the generous portions as well as the quality! The sausage, ham and bacon were cooked to perfection! Their omelette was scrumptious! And their french toast was out of this world!

I'm completely baffled by some of the good reviews on here, not at all what we experienced today. The food was mediocre at best, legitimately might be the worst breakfast place I've eaten at! The Coffee tasted like it was watered down and the toast that we paid extra for came soggy drenched in butter. We sent it back only to be returned basically the same.The sausages were nasty and greasy, they tasted more like cheap hotdogs than actual sausages. They managed to screw up a simple order. We only have 1 other place in this town that serves breakfast so I went into Java and scoops one day to try out the breakfast and was very disappointed. The young girl asked me how I wanted my eggs so I told her over easy. When I paid and left I took it home.Bacon was half Raw half burnt and even the homefries weren't fully cooked thru. I dont know why she even bothered to ask me how I wanted my eggs cooked when she ended up cooking them a totally different way. I wanted over easy and instead got my yolks broken and just a fried egg. I won't be going back it was very disappointing. I do not recommend eating there a total waste of money.

I’ve been to fancy restaurants this isn’t it…it’s a old house used as a restaurant with no updates but its cozy. This is family operated and they’re very nice people. If you’re craving Chinese food you won’t get better than this any where close. With that said I ordered battered shrimp and fried spring rolls with Cantonese fried noodles and fried rice. The portions are big see below my rating for each item I ordered.
Veg Spring rolls: 5/10
Battered shrimp: 7/10
Cantonese fried noodles: 8/10
Fried rice: 6/10
Of course I would eat here again…if you want spice add sriracha, if you want extra flavour order items with meat and add soya or sweet sour sauce. Caution: Not Halal.

It is one of those Chinese - Canadian places where one should not expect anything close to Chinese food. This place is a trap for Grand Bend visitors. Probably local farmers don't mind it for the lack of other options, but unfortunatelly the food was just bad. They don't even know how to prepare basic fried rice with mushrooms - there was probably 1 mushroom minced in it. Having said that, washrooms were clean and the room was nicely designed. Smelled like an old house which it is. The host was nice and everything, but if food is bad, no point to stop there.

Their pizza is amazing! You can wait up to two hours during their busy season but calling ahead helps. They've been consistent with their pizza every time and they're very friendly. Every time we have company over we order Oh pizza and they're always impressed. Plus, the prices are reasonable!
