The sensory rooms that they have are pretty good for the children that help them to be able to relax in between going to all the different exhibits. They do an amazing job catering to the needs of the kids, especially knowing that a lot of the people coming in there will be coming with families. I was definitely pleased to see that, with working in special education, I definitely know the benefits of the children having that in between all of the walking. The ability to cater to kids drives the interest for children to pursue art. I will definitely be going again sometime soon with the family and would recommend anybody getting out to go see that as well. They also have mini golf as well as the sculpture garden right across the street.

I loved them. It’s nice to see art outside too! I liked the famous cherry, but was disappointed that one could not get closer although I understand why. Among my favourites was the driftwood horse, the interesting swing that you were allowed to try, the blue rooster, and of course, the native American language tribute… I loved how interactive it was. Firstly, you could walk it like a maze, but secondly, also because of being able to scan a link and find out what the words were. It was very inspiring and touching. If there was one suggestion, I could make it would be to have outdoor facilities there available for the public year-round… We had to leave early because one in our party needed to take care of their needs and the bathrooms near the baseball field. We spent three hours here and only managed to view the third floor viewing various period rooms, architecture and design, impressionist, neoclassic, modern contemporary, rococo style art. The mansion was incredible to explore. The staff is extremely friendly as well. We had an amazing time exploring and learning about the art, culture, and variety of rooms that there were. Unless they have a fire alarm or something installed up there, and someone was smoking a vape, or a candle was going. I'm also sure we were the only ones on the top floor at the time. I also noticed while she was reading the sheet music and singing along to a track, that the uniforms moved in the case. I'm not sure if they have a device that makes it do that, but it did move. Wasn't creepy, it was like someone had come to listen. All in all though an amazing experience, highly recommended.
