Very nice place and an iconic Caracas place but a lot chance of getting better. Parking area is very dirty and also common areas. You can enjoy a very cheap bear or rum there in the nights.

Food was great. The restaurant is famous for its steaks, but they also serve great fish and some Venezuelan classics like Pabellon. Nicely decorated with vintage pictures from Caracas City. It is quite a big restaurant and it can get a bit loud; not very cozy but perfect if you are with a group. Great parking and good central location in Las Mercedes.

I visit Caracas regularly for business. Maute has always kept its high standard of service and food. Business dinners have always pleased my clients from overseas. At about 1/3 the cost of steakhouses in the USA, the quality and professionalism of the service will make it that much more better. A typical antiue spanish service style, always attentive and pleasing. If you are in Caracas, you should eat there the first evening.
