Such a beautiful experience, you will have to wait in line for a bit but the views make up for everything. It tends to be cold but the walk warms you up🙂
Amazing views of Caracas on the way up and down. However, the disappointment came when I was charged extra for being a foreigner. It felt like I was discriminated against, and even my local guide said that the extra charge was not fair.
The train was launched especially for our group. During the journey we saw an amazing barrio. Caracas is a beautiful but also dangerous capital. It used to be the most dangerous capital in the world, today who knows? but it is definitely safer than it used to be. I recommend visiting this metropolis when you are in Venezuela!
This was truly an exceptional experience. The cable car ride was absolutely wonderful, taking approximately 28 minutes to ascend to the summit, which is quite high. It can be a bit misleading, as if the weather appears unfavorable and the surroundings are obscured by clouds, it often clears within an hour, revealing the beautiful scenery. I was fortunate enough to have complimentary tickets to the summit, as they were included with my stay at the Humboldt Hotel. There is so many small shops to buy food and drinks from. This is absolutely fabulous place to visit even just for a short hike or half day stay. I am highly recommending it🤩🤩🤩🤩
A must to do in Caracas. Take it and go to the top of the mountain. Enjoy the view, the food, the fresh air and the hospitality of the locals. The stuff are very helpful 🤩🤩 I think the price of 30$ is a little bit expensiv.
Fantastic views from the top of mountain! You can observe the city and the ocean. Price for foreigners 30$, locals 8$. Bring passport to get in! Definitely worth it
The Caracas Cable Car is A MUST DO a soaring adventure with views that'll leave you breathless! 🚡🏞️ Ascend to the peaks of Mount Avila, reaching Hotel Humboldt at 2,140 meters, where luxury meets nature. 🌄🏨 The panoramic scenes of Caracas, the Caribbean Sea, and majestic mountains are Instagram-worthy at every turn. 🌊🏔️ Safety is top-notch now, so you can focus on the thrill of the ride. 🛡️👌 Hotel Humboldt, an icon since 1956, offers a cozy stay with crazy ocean-mountain views. 🏨🌟 At the top, activities abound – from ice skating to paintball, there's something for everyone. ⛸️🎨 When hunger strikes, numerous spots offer delicious bites and drinks, turning your visit into a gastronomic delight. 🍔🍹 The lively atmosphere is enhanced by street performers, adding a touch of local flair. 🎭🎶 Whether you're an adventure seeker or a nature lover, the Caracas Cable Car promises an unforgettable experience in the heart of Venezuela. 🇻🇪🌍 #CableCarMagic #HotelHumboldtAdventure
By the time I visited in December 2022 they lift were not working so the only option to go up is by truck. Surprisingly it only takes 25min to get to the top and the ride is exhilarating! The drivers are very experienced and they know their way up and down in a road that is in relatively good condition. I highly recommend you go all the way to the Humboldt Hotel at the top of the mountain, walk around the area and enjoy the wonderful view of Caracas and La Guaira with the Caribbean Sea. Get a nice strawberry with cream and then head down to Galipan by either walking 20min or taking one of the trucks down (for an extra fee). Galipan is a wonderful little town where you can ride a horse, grab one of their famous cachapas or pernil dishes before you head back to Caracas. The same trucks you pay to take you up will also departure from Galipan so you don’t have to go back up for the return.

Nice nature paradise just right in the city. A lot of animals and free of charge activities
It's a very beautiful place. It has many courts to play various sports like tennis and basketball. It has plenty of animals and parks for kids. Also you'll find different cafés where you can grab a snack or a light meal. It's perfect to go with the family and have a peaceful day.
It needs maintenance. It is a good place for birdwatching, for exercising, bringing the kids, admiring the trees, for taking a break, and there is this cozy restaurant called Las Corocoras that nobody should miss. I will go back again.
Honestly I booked ‘cause of the hydromassage thing just to try it. Didn’t expect it to be THAT good. My corgi slept for like 12 hours after. She was in heaven.
A great natural place, but it hurts to see some animals in a precarious condition.
A gorgeous place to walk and experience nature
It has been a while since I went to a public restroom and I didn't feel disgusted. It was pleasantly surprising to experience that level of care and cleanliness in a public restroom, I could pay more for the parking if they keep up doing that. The animals look good, they're renewing the birds section, there's a nice bicycle-skate area. I saw fewer vultures than last time, which was good because those were dirty and scary, in general it looks like money is finally being put in the right places in the park. All the pictures have my kids in them, next time I'll try to remember to get some landscape shots.
Beautifully renowned. Sadly, no more Colon's ship...

Nice Plaza great walk
Very nice district all around, Altamira Plaza!
Very beautiful and nice. Children and people are constantly around, even when some businesses are closed. Feels safer than average for a public space. A lot of sunlight, bring something to cover yourself. Not a lot of shadow around.
Nice square for tourist and not tourist jajaja to spend a couple of hours enjoying the sun, the view and a day on the city
Caracas at its best! However, you have to wait for Nicolas Maduro be removed from government, which should be soon, so you can enjoy this wonderful and AMAZING country!!
Developed urban open space with easy but crowded public transit aces by train, bus and motor taxi. Fountain and iconic monument lighted except when power fails. Space for festival activity such as food, book fairs and political rallies .
Great places to eat and relax. Early mornings people are drinking coffee with an empanada or arepa, reading the newspaper, jogging, etc. There is a church and some office buildings. Within a five minute walk you can be at a beautiful open market where locals buy their fresh produce, meats, spices, and much more.
Excellent place to visit. Beautifully decorated. But it lacks of activities, you only may sit and enjoy a very expensive ice cream. That's it

Beautiful historic place to visit.
As a tourist, it is very sad to see that this beautiful place is full of rubbish and people leave the rubbish behind them, throwing it to the water...people should respect and take care of their enviroment...
A great place to walk, jog, skating... see Venezuelan heroe's monument
Nice place! My daughter and me spent a good time there together her mom.
Excellent for running/jogging or for a nice evening walk. Safe place to go.
Nice place to remember our freedom and now good place to ride a bicicle

Nice tourist spot. House is lovely full of history, which seems to have changed since I first visited. Its in proper downtown, so the area is a bit rough. But the place itself is nice.
Beautifully kept and great attention from staff and guides.
Only Spanish guide. Open to public for free.
It's a cultural and historical landmark place, full of common use articles of the life of Simon Bolivar, it's an experience like a travel to the early days of the "Libertador" and his surroundings. The place is full of memorabilia and historical information, it's free to enter and his door are open in a normal labors day's time schedule.
Is a short trip no longer than 20minutes. To the date, January 6 of 2023 still necessary to wear a mask.

I love how they always change the pieces that are displayed. You always find something interesting and amazing to watch or do. Now there's a new room called "Virtus" that includes Virtual Reality, games, virtual decorations, etc. It's a must when you're in Caracas.
I liked the library, the majority were closed , there is an entertainment studio suitable for kids , 15$ entrance fee per person.
A really nice place, with an excellent restaurant, a beautiful garden, I highly recommend this place to be peaceful
Beautiful Art Center!!! Many galeries, shops and libraries and super lovely coffee
Super nice place to have in your agenda each week
A must-visit spot in the city to wind down, connect with art, great food, books and sweet events, and tons of green. Don't miss it!
+: Easy to get to, good valet, the coffee and brownies at the entrance are amazing (still haven't taken the rest of the menu), the decoration and cleanness is as good as expected, the book store is full of worthy pieces and the restaurants are pretty good even if they are expensive. Perfect place to hang out for a first date or a casual talk. -: Too many flies due to the still waters, which might seem a little bit dangerous and usually on weekdays is a dead point (this might be a good thing for some)
It's nice looking and it has movies on Saturdays. However, you can't take pictures inside without special permission from management and it's mostly watch only, except for the bookstore, which has nice books and a coffee shop. Not interactive enough to be worth a tourist visit, I think.

Are you looking for fresh? This is the place for you. Blend between all you need and nice people that will help you get it. It's a nice experience to get to know the people that work here. Free parking and a safe place to shop.
Mercado Chacao gives you a great option to buy fruits and vegetables, but get ready for the exuberant prices. Absolutely ridiculous. The flower market it's very nice. Do not buy meat and fish it doesn't look good.
Quality of produce and products second to none. Unfortunately, they're way , way overpriced. I am not clear if it has to do with the location, purchasing power of patrons or it just simply "l can afford to overpay..." and l don't care Let's face it 1 kg of potatoes is 1 kg of potatoes, why try to charge 4 times more for it? I am a true believer of free market, offer and demand. My feeling is that, other things being equal, they could make more money coming down to earth with realistic prices. Don't get me wrong. It's a nice atmosphere, vendors are extremely friendly and polite, but l doubt if I would choose this market for my day to day groceries.
MY happy to viewing inside France airport many hours
Incredible vegetables and fruits. Very clean and good prices. They have lots of cheese and nuts and great coffee beans as well.
Fresh produce, safe environment and diversity of products
Farm market is pretty good. Fresh vegetables, fruit, handcraft cheese, delicatessen, traditional spices, fresh eggs, chocolate products even you can eat traditional foods (like a food truck but it doesn't pretty good). You can buy some essential products like soaps, vegetable oils, shampoo, toilet paper, and other important items that you can't find in the shopping market but remember they have free market price. The vallet parking lot is free but you can give tip.

Zoo
Outdoor Activities
This quaint petting zoo features a range of exotic & domestic animals, including zebras & camels.
Slide 1 of 8
We did not have much expectations for the zoo, but were very pleasantly surprised. The entrance fee is $10 for everyone ages 1 and up and includes a little bag of carrots to feed to certain animals. We saw mini pigs, camels bunnies, flamingos, ostrich, snakes, monkeys, parrots, cows, ponies and chickens. We had a great time with the whole family and would definitely reccomend this place.
Nice experience, especially if you go with young children. Feeding and petting the animals is a great activity. However, the staff at the entrance were not very kind nor welcoming, we were tempted to turn around and leave, they won't give you a purchase receipt, won't have change and are not very helpful.
A very nice place to spend a different time, it's special to share with contact animals. You can find dromedaries, deer, goats, rabbits, cows, peacocks, among other varieties of animals. The place is not that big but it is very nice, they have a space to rent and have parties, they work with special children and do therapies with animals. There is no where to eat, there is a very small cafeteria and I think that is why I put four stars. You can feed the animals with carrots while you do the tour. It's a place that I would go again without a doubt, I love animals. The staff who work there are not very talkative except for about 2 people who spoke with us and were very friendly.
Great place to visit with your family. It was clean, and the animals looked great. My little boy enjoyed the zoo
A RABBIT JUST SHITTED ON MY AND MY FRESH YORK PEPPERMINT PATTY
The zoo is very small, yet I enjoyed a lot, lots of communication opportunities with the animals
It was great! My toddler really enjoyed it. Animals looked well taken care of. I do consider it a little pricey, though. I would go more often if price was a little better or if they offered family group prices...
Beautifully peaceful place, animals are well kept... So much love in here!

Come rain or come shine, the Caracas' Museo de los Niños remains a bright spot in the city. There have been important efforts to update some facilities, and yet part of the interactive exhibits have such simple interactivity and deal with such basic principles that they retain their wonder and awe for children. Even in the digital age, they are timeless. Moreover, young parents might find newer attractions: for toddlers and kindergartners, colours and shapes; for kids and pre-teens, space exploration, the fight against drugs and the newly opened paleontology area. The museum's remains as a testimony of the extraordinary vision for childrens' development of Alicia Pietri de Caldera. ....... A full ticket goes for about 3$. The area around the museum can be rough, but the outing is worth it.
At one point this used to be a great museum , a place where you could expose kids to science , nature , biology etc with a different and super entertaining approach . But everything is really old and outdated and by the way it looks apparently they haven't invested a single dine in renewing it or at least keeping things working .
If you like the smell of mold... One star is too much.
Good place to go with your kids have more than 6 years old
It's a museum made for kids... with very interesting thinks. It's an option to know and have a good time.

A big park but not in perfect condition. Lots of sports activities take placa.
A unique park where young bohemian people meet to hang out. People in this park engaged in activities like dancing, roleplaying, and stunts. People had their own thing and had a unique style; I admire that. There are a lot of museums and cultural centers around the area. Overall, it’s a great park; a nice place to take a stroll and take in the sights.
Nice park close to art galleries. This park is considered an open air museum.
Beautiful place to get some peace of mind and breathe fresh aire.

Very nice place to visit in Venezuela. Worth to see.
Nice place but considering that it is of high historical significance then some information could be as well in English. Also would expect public toilet in the vicinity or cafe....
Its a nice placed, we were lucky that was opened, so we were able to see the mausoleo. You can make the trip in 30minutes. Unfortunately don’t know how to know when the place it is opened
I've never been here, I'm just doing a project for school. It seems pretty cool, with all those dead bodies and all. Overall, if I were to ever go here, I think i would have a decent time.
Nice place to visit.
