Seafood restaurant
Bang Pae Seafood Restaurant is a hidden gem located in Paklok, nestled on the edge of a serene mangrove forest. The restaurant offers an array of delectable seafood dishes and traditional Phuket cuisine at reasonable prices. Situated between the sea and shrimp farms, it provides picturesque views while indulging in sumptuous meals. Specialties include squid in black sauce and shrimp with shrimp paste and stink bean, offering rich and flavorful experiences.
Good food good atmosphere. Quiet place with amazing view on the see! Thai people love to go eat here during week-ends. Lesser known place for tourists. Crabs are fresh.

Great ambience especially during dinner time where you can watch the tide come in and the sunset. Restaurant is situated in a very relaxing corner of the island. Food was good but some dishes we felt were under seasoned (clam soup, prawn cake) hence the reason for 1 missing star. Still a good choice for dinner.

Just great Thai fair at an affordable price. Do try their home made coconut cake - it’s stellar. Honorable mention for the pad see ew - noodles are cooked in a seafood broth and it’s delectable as a result.

Amazing fresh seafood at great prices in an open and beautiful venue. One of the best meals we had on Phuket for sure!

Bang Pae Seafood is a favorite for us in Phuket, we go every time we spend time in Phuket. A bit off the beaten path on the eastern side it is quiet and the sea is calm. The food here is fantastic and it is a great place for lunch and dinner.
Michael L — Google review
Great value for money.....their speciality seems to be what they catch around that area like soft shell crab, anchovy like fish fry, mango smoothie, coconut water with soft flesh which can be craved with the spoon, leaves the tongue like a melted natural jelly....

Bang Pae Seafood Restaurant is a true gem ideally situated right next to the sea, amidst picturesque swamp scenery and lush greenery. With plenty of parking spaces, it is conveniently accessible for all visitors. Whether you are a couple seeking a romantic setting, part of a group, or just looking for a peaceful meal, this restaurant fits the bill perfectly. The food here is consistently excellent. Every dish is prepared with fresh ingredients, including seafood, meat, and vegetables, ensuring a delightful culinary experience every time. The flavors are always on point, making each visit a memorable one. The service at Bang Pae Seafood Restaurant is top-notch. The staff are friendly, prompt, polite, and accommodating, showcasing a level of training that enhances the dining experience. They make you feel welcome and taken care of, adding to the overall charm of the place. This restaurant is not just about the food; it's also a fantastic place to have a good conversation with friends and relax with some beverages. I have been here many times and always leave looking forward to my next visit. I highly recommend Bang Pae Seafood Restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy great food, excellent service, and a serene atmosphere.

Seafood restaurant
Laem Hin Seafood is a popular spot for both locals and travelers seeking delicious seafood dinners. The menu offers a wide variety of options, including classics like spicy seafood salad, prawn omelette, and steamed fish curry. Dining on the wooden deck or along the old jetty provides a great atmosphere for group or intimate dinners.
We've been coming here for years and always had a good meal and a good time. Atmosphere doesn't get much more rustic and local, seafood is always fresh, and prices are very fair. The place is pork-free, and worth the long trip there to the east cost.

Quick service, lovely atmosphere. An institution, this place is said to be. The fried fish is a must try along with the lemongrass salad. And do have a sip of their fresh, young coconuts too!

A Special Dining Experience by the Sea! We visited the restaurant, which is beautifully located right by the sea, offering a stunning view of the charming Coconut Island with all its natural beauty and pristine beaches. The atmosphere was calm and perfect for enjoying a special seafood meal. We started our experience with the famous Thai dish, fried rice with shrimp, which was delicious and full of authentic Thai flavors. We also tried the large Thai oysters, which were incredibly fresh with a great taste and perfect texture. For the main course, we had the seabass, which came in a large portion and looked very appetizing. Although it was well-cooked, the texture of the fish was a bit firm, and I couldn’t finish it. Nevertheless, the presentation was nice, and the taste would be appreciated by fans of this type of fish. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and the location of the restaurant was truly amazing. The view of the sea and Coconut Island directly across from the restaurant added a special touch to our meal, making the whole experience unforgettable.

Food is delicious! Fresh lived seafood and plenty of options. The view at sunset is marvelous. Price is more than reasonable.

It is a must to come here if you are in Phuket. The seafood is reasonably priced and they have a huge menu of food choices. We over ordered the food and struggled to finish our food. Service is generally good with the staff always nearby to assist. It was raining that day so we decided not to sit along the pier.

Your visit to Phuket would be incomplete and you will not have the full idea of the southern cuisine if you do not visit this very famous restaurant! I highly recommend the Tom Pred soup and Homok Phuket! A perfect place to celebrate a birthday or a friendly party! Do not miss this real touch to the life of the local Phuket people!

Restaurant
Peang Prai Restaurant is a hidden gem nestled near the tranquil Bang Pae Waterfall, offering authentic Thai cuisine and local Phuket specialties at reasonable prices. Despite being off the beaten path, it has been a favorite among locals for nearly 20 years. The restaurant's standout dishes include fish and crab meat paste as well as fish prepared with three types of chili, leaving patrons satisfied.
Hidden gems. They offer southern style Thai food. The restaurant is located inside the forest area. If you’re not into that spicy, don’t forget to tell them the spiciness level you’re up to. Too bad, too many menus were out of stocks and was not in season when we were there. They also got Michelin guide, which they deserve it! Overall, highly recommended!

Hidden up in a forested area, but easily accessible by car and with a scenic vista of a lovely lake with majestic mountain behind it. Their food are authentic Phuket, with many items that can only be found here in Phuket. We ordered a few of their Michelin signature dishes like the Gaeng Ti Mi Pla or the Phuket style curry fish which has a slight sourish taste it but but have hint of sweetness from coconut cream too, and their deep fried shrimp with garlic and chili, which I think was on point but not one to shout about. Another dish that we ordered was their Hoi Wan Tom Ta Krai or the clams in lemongrass soup, superb, love the fragrance of the lemon grass, the flavor of the basil leaf and chili while the soup is full of the umami from the clams. Their Ngob Poo or a similar Malaysian otak with fish and crab steamed in curry paste within a banana leaf. Another very delicious dish. My friend ordered their Naam Prik Ka Yum Gung Sod, not really my type of dish but she loved it. Service is good and fast but our overall bill with 3 drinks + 3 rice + 1 bottle of water was about 1700b.

Amazing Amazing Amazing! What a great restaurant! Set beside a beautiful lake next to the jungle, in a traditional style building with kingfishers flying across the lake. We were the only ones there that afternoon and the service was impeccable and prompt. The quality of every dish was outstanding and so beautifully presented. We don’t know a lot about traditional southern Thai cuisine, but it felt like a creative take on traditional dishes. The standout dishes were the crispy prawn and leaf, the braised belly pork and the fish/crab steamed parcels, Ngob-poo. To top it all, this is the cheapest Michelin rated restaurant we have ever been to! Such great value! We would definitely recommend it.

Hidden in the heart of the forest, this restaurant feels like a secret haven you accidentally stumble upon and immediately fall in love with. Surrounded by lush greenery and a calm pond reflecting the trees above, the whole atmosphere is peaceful, refreshing, and incredibly photogenic—every corner feels like a nature postcard. They serve authentic Phuket local food using fresh, local ingredients, and you can truly taste the difference. Every dish is rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented, the kind of plates you want to snap a picture of before digging in. From the aroma to the taste to the plating, everything feels thoughtfully crafted. If you’re looking for a place to eat that blends nature, serenity, and delicious Southern Thai flavors, this forest-hidden gem is absolutely worth the journey. Perfect spot for slow meals, great photos, and soaking in nature’s vibe like a true blogger. 🌿✨

Do not follow Google map if it tells you to make a u-turn after the light. That’s a long way around with less travel road through the wood. Just drive past the traffic light and the first u-turn. There is another u-turn that run beneath the main road once you come up on the other side just turn left and the restaurant is a mere 300 meters from the main road. See images for reference.

This restaurant is just outside the National park and Gibbon sanctuary. Having visited the sanctuary it was an obvious choice for lunch. So I went in and we were seated straight away with the usual broad thai smiles. The restaurant had a number of michelin award posters on the walls and I was soon to find out why. We both ordered the yellow chicken curry and jasmine rice and it was superb, full of flavour and spices. Extremely moreish. Plus the prices are at the lower end for Thai restaurants which was great. A really memorable meal. Nothing negative at all.

Even the place is in renovation but still comfortable. It was like having lunch in the forest surrounded with trees and mountainous views. They serve variety of local and sea foods including live crabs and deep-water large shells that you have to scuba dive to get them. The price was right and reasonable and the taste was internationally delicious. Too bad I didn't have time to take any picture of the foods. Just couldn't resist the temptations.

This was such a pleasant find! First off the restaurant surroundings are gorgeous. Place is well lit and service so prompt. The food was great too - my favourite were the tacos and duck salad. They have a pretty decent wine selection too - will be back!

I came for dinner at suay and had a bit of a higher expectation because of the Michelin recs. However, I find the food here mediocre, not bad but not great either, and quite pricey. As someone who grew up in Thailand, I think the food here taste like it’s more catered towards foreigners. I had an okay time there but wouldn’t go back personally.

We discovered this restaurant through the Michelin Guide, and we loved absolutely everything about it! The food was incredibly delicious — every dish was full of flavor, especially the tacos and the Tom Yum. The service was outstanding, making the whole experience truly memorable. The “Bomb Alaska” is amazing!

Exceptional experience! Incredibly delicious food - fusion of Thai and European. We’ve got burrata salad and grilled prawns for starters, seabass and salmon for mains, awesome mango sticky rice with rice ice cream for dessert and bottle of light and refreshing Riesling. And everything was absolutely mouthwatering. Outstanding service and great vibe. Highly recommended

This was my first time, dining in a luxurious restaurant and we expected it to be amazing, yet the word "amazing" would be an understatement for a such restaurant now. As a special day, my girlfriend's birthday to be exact, we chose this restaurant as our destination and it went unexpectedly great! The foods, for us, were incredibly good. Plus, the music and atmosphere fitted perfectly for such a occasion. I could say that this was one of the most memorable birthdays for both her and me. Also, I would love to give special thanks to chefs, musicians and the whole team, especially P'Lily, P'Cha-aim, P'Eye, P'Benz and P'Field, for accomodating us throughout our dinner.

Most amazing dinner experience I’ve had in Phuket. The food was excellent and the jazz live music was fantastic (went on Monday, don’t think the band is there every night). Highly highly recommended if you are in Phuket.
