Flea & Street Markets
Mapusa Municipal Market, also known as Mapusa Friday Market, is a vibrant and bustling bazaar in the heart of Mapusa town in Goa. Open every day but busiest on Fridays, it offers a glimpse into authentic Goan culture and local life. Visitors can explore stalls selling a variety of items including fresh produce, spices, sweets, cashews, chillies, homemade fish fry, sausages, clothing and household goods.
The vegetable and fruit market is a delight! Absolutely fresh stuff and the most reasonable prices.
Kiraan T — Google review
Mapusa Market is a vibrant and traditional Goan marketplace, best visited on Fridays when it’s packed with local vendors selling everything from farm produce to ethnic crafts. It's the perfect place to experience authentic Goan culture and flavours. 🔑 Highlights: 🥖 Must-try: God Poi – a traditional Goan whole-wheat bread made with palm jaggery. Soft, slightly sweet, and often sold warm at the market. A delicious local treat you shouldn’t miss! 🍖 Other Must-buys: Goan sausages (chorizo), cashews, spices, bebinca (layered dessert), kokum, pickles, and local pottery 🧺 Also Find: Handicrafts, textiles, coconut oil, herbal products, and clay ware 🗓️ Best Time: Friday mornings (8–11 AM) 💵 Pro Tip: Carry cash, wear comfy shoes, and stay alert in crowds 💰 Bargaining: Common and expected ✅ Verdict: Mapusa Market is a must-visit for anyone wanting a genuine Goan shopping and food experience. From God Poi and bebinca to handmade baskets and Goan spices, it's a sensory feast of sights, smells, and flavors.

Great local market, it has everything available from fresh fruits to vegetables to fish, meat, bakery items, clothes, electronic, spices, and probably much more. The prices are good and the variety is amazing. Must visit for a local shopping experience. The bread available there is amazing.
Zaheer — Google review
A vibrant tapestry of sights, sounds, and smells, Mapusa Market is an absolute must-visit for anyone wanting to experience the authentic buzz of Goa. While Friday is the main market day, the weekend still holds a fantastic charm, offering a kaleidoscope of choices, especially for dresses and fresh produce. A Shopper's Paradise for Dresses For fashion enthusiasts, the market is a treasure trove. You'll find a delightful array of dresses, from breezy, colorful beachwear perfect for Goa's tropical climate to more traditional Indian attire. Stalls are laden with vibrant textiles, printed skirts, and trendy tops. Don't be shy to bargain; it's all part of the fun and expected by the friendly vendors. The sheer variety ensures that you'll find something to suit your style and budget. Whether you're looking for a unique souvenir or a complete wardrobe refresh, the dress selection here won't disappoint. A Feast for the Senses: The Vegetable Market The vegetable section of the market is a riot of color and life. Local farmers proudly display their fresh, seasonal produce. From plump red tomatoes and leafy green spinach to exotic vegetables and aromatic herbs, the quality is exceptional. The air is filled with the earthy scent of fresh produce and the lively chatter of vendors and customers. It's a fantastic opportunity to sample some of Goa's local flavors and pick up ingredients for a delicious home-cooked meal. Even if you're not planning on cooking, a stroll through this section is a cultural experience in itself. Here is a multiple-choice question for you: What is the most famous day to visit Mapusa Market? a) Sunday b) Monday c) Friday d) Wednesday

• Mapusa Market is a one-stop destination for almost everything. • One can find fresh local vegetables, flowers, spices & a wide variety of other items. • It’s definitely a must-visit place.

Feel the local Goan life here. Buy clothes, accessories, fish, fruits and even grains. Avoid rush hours as the parking is limited. Friday is the weekly market day when shopping is at it's peak. Don't forget to try the coconut milk shake in the parking lot.

Outdoor Activities
Anjuna Beach, located in North Goa, is a popular destination known for its stunning natural beauty and white sandy shores. It offers a range of activities such as parasailing, jet skiing, banana boat rentals, bungee jumping from an 80-foot tower, paragliding, and windsurfing. The beach is famous for its full moon beach parties during New Year and Christmas and attracts both domestic and foreign tourists.
Anjuna Beach!!! Lovely beach, good vibes U will find good beach shacks U can enjoy sunset here Clean water, U will find shells, colorful stones, pebbles here, u can take it home for memories Good place to enjoy sunset and party !!!
Amit G — Google review
Great beach to enjoy a peaceful evening and stunning sunset views. The waves come very close to the shore, which makes it scenic but not very safe for swimming. Best time to visit is during pleasant weather, as it’s not recommended in the monsoon due to strong tides. Perfect for sunset photography, relaxing walks, and soaking in the coastal vibes.
Hardik V — Google review
I recently visited this beach with the hope of enjoying a relaxing day by the sea, but unfortunately, the experience turned out to be quite disappointing for several reasons. The beach feels extremely congested. The number of shacks, restaurants, and bars set up right along the shoreline leaves very little open space to actually enjoy the beach or its views. There's hardly any breathing room, and it’s difficult to find a peaceful spot to sit and relax. It seems like every inch of the beach is commercialized, which seriously takes away from the natural charm and openness you'd typically expect at a beach. Another downside was the constant pestering from locals trying to sell water sports activities. While it's understandable that water sports are a part of the beach economy, it becomes frustrating when you’re approached every few minutes, even after politely declining. It really disrupts the peace and makes it hard to enjoy your time. Most of the restaurants and beach shacks are quite overpriced, especially for the quality and portion size offered. Even basic refreshments or snacks are charged at premium rates, which seems to be targeting tourists rather than offering fair value. If you're planning to spend a day here, be prepared for high prices without necessarily getting a premium experience.
Ganesh B — Google review
I went to Anjuna beach early morning and evening. I would say if you need less crowd and play in water it’s better to go in the early morning around 6.30Am and If you need good music and enjoy drinks then go in the evening!
Apoorva B — Google review
Anjuna Beach has a unique charm — a perfect blend of rocky coastline, calm vibes, and bohemian culture. It’s the ideal spot if you prefer a more relaxed atmosphere compared to the busier beaches in Goa.
Vaibhav D — Google review
Take the main road and not the roads which goes from the village. We almost got lost out in nowhere the Google maps can be wrong in such a place. So take the road which are used by most peoples. The beach was very pretty. Saw the most beautiful sunset.
Christina A — Google review
Not a clean beach. Other beaches like Calangute are better. Baga is also good but too much of crowd. These are all in North Goa
Archana K — Google review
Rocky choppy waters. Very Less crowded compared to Baga. Avoid Speed boat Ride there which is a loot. Be careful going to the beach from Baga or Calangute if you are drunk. Police check point near Anjuna police station which is marked up in the map. Pay attention to where you park or may have to take a long walk . Good location for photo shoots.

Fortress
Sights & Landmarks
Aguada Fort, a 1612 Portuguese fortress, offers stunning ocean views and features an abandoned lighthouse built in 1864. Visitors can unwind with ayurvedic massages or partake in various yoga classes available in Goa. For the more adventurous, water sports and cookery classes are also on offer. The fort is a great spot to climb up for breathtaking sunset views. Sinquerim Beach, the first tourist beach of North Goa, is nearby and close to Aguada Fort.
Walk through a page of your history books while visiting this fort. Situated right next to the Arabian Sea, the Fort also houses a lighthouse and a viaduct. Although the Fort itself is small in size, it remains a significant visit while in North Goa. The ticket price is 25 INR and you can buy online tickets from Archaeological Survey of India website. If you are willing to buy tickets from the Fort itself, they charge the same in the ticket counter, but take only cash. Additionally, you can visit a lighthouse that is situated roughly 100m from the fort where you can go right to the top and enjoy amazing views of the sea. Parking is also available for scooters and cars alike.

Aguada Fort is a historic, vintage fort uphill on Goa sea coast. It is different than other forts that you will see in remaining India. Over the time it has been a stunning beauty in White, depicting every bit of portugal architecture. This place is going to give you a different vibe of an tourist espace with ancient structure yet modern. It has got an amazing view of chilling blueish sea 💙 with magnanimous light house at the center of the fort & an open ground, to make your day a photo perfect day at this historic places. Make sure you dress casual, chic to get best travel poster pics of yours 📸 During public holidays you may have some difficult time to grab your favourite spot & click a picture.

Aguada Fort in Goa is one of the most fascinating places to visit for anyone who loves history, scenic beauty, and peaceful surroundings. Located on a hilltop overlooking the stunning Arabian Sea, the fort offers an amazing view that immediately captures your attention. The combination of the deep blue sea, gentle breeze, and wide open landscape makes the visit feel refreshing and relaxing. The fort itself is well-maintained, and walking around its spacious area gives you a clear sense of how important it was during the Portuguese era. The old lighthouse inside the complex adds to the charm and gives the place a unique identity. Even though the structure is centuries old, it still stands strong and showcases Goa’s rich heritage. It’s also a great spot for photography—every corner offers a picture-perfect frame with sea views, ancient walls, and natural surroundings. The place can get a little crowded during peak hours, but the calm atmosphere and beautiful viewpoints make it worth the visit. Overall, Aguada Fort is an excellent destination for families, solo travelers, and anyone who wants to enjoy a mix of history and nature. A visit here truly enhances your Goa experience and leaves you with lasting memories.
Rama M — Google review
We recently visited Fort Aguada, and it’s definitely one of those places that blends history, scenic beauty, and a calm seaside atmosphere all in one spot. The fort itself is over 400 years old, built by the Portuguese, and still stands strong overlooking the Arabian Sea. The view from the ramparts is absolutely stunning, especially around sunset — you can see the vast sea, nearby beaches, and the old lighthouse which adds to the charm. It’s a great spot for photography and quiet reflection away from the usual beach crowds. However, it’s worth knowing that the accessible area is smaller than you might expect, and there isn’t much in terms of exhibits or detailed historical displays — it’s more of an open structure with ruins and walls. Facilities like restrooms or food stalls are limited, so plan accordingly. Still, I really appreciated the peaceful vibe, panoramic views, and the historical aura of the place. It’s best enjoyed early in the morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat and crowds. ⭐ Overall rating: 4/5 ✅ Best for: History lovers, photographers, and anyone who enjoys sea views ⚠️ Tip: Carry water, wear comfortable shoes, and visit around sunset for the best experience

We visited Fort Aguada — As per suggestions I and my wife arrived early (9am) and were the first one to entre the fort which felt like it was all for us. We took this opportunity to quickly click few memorable photos at the spot of our liking without anyone around. This is about 400-year-old Portuguese Fort that beautifully combines history, seaside charm, and scenic views. Overlooking the huge Arabian Sea, it offers stunning panoramas, especially at early morning and at sunset, with its old lighthouse adding to the allure. The Fort’s tranquil vibe and breathtaking views make it worth a visit. Best enjoyed early morning around 9-10am (At opening time) to beat the heat and crowds. Entry fee is ₹25/- Per Adult Person. Toilet are neat, clean and well maintained.

Fort Aguda, 17th C Portugese fort constructed in 1612, on Sinquerim Beach, to guard against the Marathas and the Dutch. A freshwater spring of the fort, provided water to the ships which would stop by. Perhaps this was the reason of its name , since Aguda means Watery. The lighthouse was built in 1612 used to hold 79 cannons in one go. Other than a quiet relevant walk around the almost silent area, we neither could reach any entrances to the dungeon entry, nor any of the secret passages. Perhaps they were indeed 'Very well Hidden'. The feel of this high risen place was rather quiet peaceful. As an after thought I realized, that it could be due to its name, that it felt calm, cool and silent like some passive waters. Extremely Apt.

Fort Aguada is genuinely a delightful stop. I loved the place - the views are expansive, the vibe is calm, and the history adds real character. It’s the kind of spot where you can slow down, walk around, and really take in Goa’s charm.

Sunny 9 — Google review
🚤 Coco Beach: North Goa's Dolphin Spotting and River Cruise Hub! 🌴 RATING: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5 – Excellent for Activity, Not for Swimming) Coco Beach, situated in the Nerul area near Reis Magos, occupies a unique geographical position: it's nestled right at the mouth of the Mandovi River where it meets the Arabian Sea. It is a vital artery for Goan water tourism, serving primarily as the main jetty and departure point for boat trips and dolphin spotting, rather than a traditional sunbathing beach. The Signature Coco Beach Experience The Hub of Adventure: Coco Beach's raison d'être is activity. It is the most popular and organized spot in North Goa to hire a boat for dolphin watching tours (best done early morning) and scenic river cruises that navigate the Mandovi and Chapora estuaries. Unique Scenery: Due to its proximity to the river, the sand here is darker and more silty than the pure golden sands of Calangute or Sinquerim. This isn't the place for swimming or laying out a towel, but it offers a beautiful, unique view across the water to the headlands of Panjim and Dona Paula. The Reis Magos Context: The beach lies directly below the Reis Magos Fort, offering a historical backdrop. The view from the water looking back at the dense, coconut palm groves that line the shore is classic Goan scenery. Vibe and Function The atmosphere is perpetually bustling and commercial, characterized by boat operators, ticket sellers, and travelers getting ready for their excursions. It is highly functional and convenient. It lacks the laid-back lounging feel of the Arabian Sea beaches but buzzes with the excitement of impending adventure. 📸 Pro-Tips for Visitors Go Early for Dolphins: If dolphin spotting is your goal, you must arrive before 9 AM. The boats leave early, and the dolphins are most active in the quiet morning hours. Manage Expectations: Treat Coco Beach as a maritime transit point, not a relaxing beach. If you want pristine sand and calm swimming, head just down the road to Candolim or Sinquerim. Negotiate Prices: While the boat operators are generally regulated, it's wise to confirm the duration and inclusions of your trip before boarding. Photography: The best photo opportunities are from the boat, capturing the lush river banks and the distant views of Panjim and the coastline. Conclusion: Coco Beach is an essential destination for any traveler wanting to get out onto the water in North Goa. While you won't spend the day sunbathing here, it serves as the perfect, convenient gateway to river cruises, dolphin spotting, and exploring the beautiful Mandovi estuary.

This beach is famous for many things. We can see dolphins if we are lucky. Secondly there is a beautiful bungalow of a billionaire nearby. Then there is an old prison, which has been converted into a museum.
Sarb K — Google review
Wanna go on a boat ride for about 45 minutes? We can see some cool views of the water, like the Aguada Fort, and maybe even spot some dolphins! It's only 400 bucks per person, which is a way better deal than the boat rides at Baga Beach.
Harsha S — Google review
Coco Beach in Goa is a calm and scenic spot located near Nerul. It’s known for its golden sands, gentle waves, and beautiful views of the Mandovi River meeting the sea. Ideal for dolphin-watching boat rides, peaceful walks, and sunsets. The beach is less crowded, offering a relaxed vibe with nearby shacks serving fresh seafood and refreshing drinks.
Rithikesh — Google review
Only famous for boat rides which will charge you high for 1 hour ride plus wait time, boat owner were drunk. They will show 3 to 4 points from a distance. The beach is quite small and not that clean. It was not in our itinerary but recommended by the cab driver and wasted 2 to 3 hours.
Krishna S — Google review
Coco beach is a less commercialized/ developed as compare to others, but it provides you with an opportunity of Dolphin cruise. Boats from this beach take you to the sea to watch dolphins and the experience is exhilarating. On a short boat trip for a hour, charged at INR 350 PP, you can enjoy Central Jail Aguada, Aguada Fort and few other buildings which the boatman will tell enroute. Its nits not very good or bad, definitely OK OK….
Udayan C — Google review
Boat rides are available here for 350 rupees per person. These boats will take you to 5 locations in the sea from where you can see Aguada fort , jail , bungalow, , dolphins etc. life jackets are available and the sea is too deep. The boat ride is about 45-50 minutes and is fun.

Ozran Beach, located in North Goa, is a charming coastal retreat known for its pristine white sands and tranquil atmosphere. The beach is framed by lush green hills and rock formations, creating a picturesque setting for visitors to relax and unwind. Anjuna, often referred to as the jewel of Ozran, has been a popular destination since the 1960s and continues to attract an eclectic mix of tourists from around the world.
One of the quieter and more beautiful beaches in North Goa. Ozran Beach is like a hidden gem compared to the super crowded main beaches. The vibe here is really chill — perfect if you just want to relax, listen to the waves, and stay away from the crazy crowds. The beach is clean for the most part, and the sunset views are absolutely amazing. There are a few shacks around if you want food or drinks, but it’s not overly commercialized like Baga or Calangute. You’ll have to walk down a rocky path to get to the beach, so wear comfortable shoes. The famous Shiva Face rock carving is also nearby — worth checking out if you’re around. Overall: If you’re looking for a peaceful beach day with good vibes, Ozran Beach is a great pick. Just pack your own mat, sunscreen, and maybe a cold drink or two!
Shishir K — Google review
Very much quite and beautiful, sadly only a few coconut trees are left and too many pubs and cafes have been constructed nearby areas. Great views from the top of the mountain back to Noah cafe. You have to get down by taking around 40-50 srairs to reach to this beach. No direct access which i know.

Tanaya S — Google review
This secluded beach offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for those seeking solitude away from the crowds. Access can be challenging due to steep or difficult paths, but the effort is rewarded with a tranquil setting ideal for morning walks and stunning sunsets. The beach is relatively quiet in the off-season, though some visitors do come, and there are a few small shacks nearby providing basic refreshments. Its natural beauty is enhanced by surrounding greenery and gentle waves, making it a great spot to relax and connect with nature. For added enjoyment, visitors can explore beachcombing, photography, or simply unwind under the shade of trees. Overall, it’s a charming retreat for those looking to escape busy tourist spots and enjoy a calm coastal experience.

Peaceful beach but a bit dirty though. Again stray dogs make your stay a tad difficult, especially if you have a small pet.

This was once a beautiful, pristine, hidden beach. Now the entire beach is littered with garbage. Tons of stray dogs roaming around. Its extremely sad and pathetic to be here anymore. We should do better to preserve our beaches. My suggestion would be to skip this beach. ❌

Greek restaurant
Restaurant
Thalassa is an upscale Greek taverna located in Vaddy, Siolim, offering scenic water and sunset views from its outdoor tables shaded by palm trees. The restaurant was established in 2006 by Mariketty Grana and her son Spiro, known for their warm Greek hospitality. Guests can enjoy top-notch services and amenities including complimentary internet access and airport transportation services. The resort also provides complimentary parking for guests with their own mode of transport.
📍 Thalassa Goa – Where Every Sunset Turns Into a Celebration | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thalassa in North Goa isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an emotion that captures the true essence of Goan celebration. Nestled near Vagator Beach, you don’t need an address to find it—just follow the rhythm of laughter, music, and joy that fills the air. The ambiance is spectacular, with stunning sea views, open-air seating, and fairy lights that create a dreamy festive vibe. Every evening here feels like a carnival. Asia’s finest belly dancers take center stage, while aerial acts and fiery flame shows light up the night sky. Live music flows through the crowd, making it impossible not to sway along. The energy is infectious—vibrant people from around the world come together to celebrate life the Goan way. Booking in advance is essential; we made our reservation a month ahead for the office season. During peak time, last-minute tables are nearly impossible to get. The price is around ₹2500 per head, fully redeemable on food and drinks—and every penny feels worth it. The food is fantastic—Greek and Goan flavors blend perfectly—and the cocktails are pure art. Thalassa doesn’t just serve meals; it serves memories you’ll cherish forever. 🌅🍹💃

So they have cover charges and you can feel it to be new caste system - but then who's not doing it. Food was ok..nothing special. Service was good, waiters were receptive and fulfilled the order in decent time. Coming to atmosphere - yup performances were great, a lot of Instagram worthy stuff
Rohit J — Google review
Our evening at Thalassa turned out really good, but the start was quite frustrating. The person who seated us wasn’t in uniform and looked more like a random guest than staff. He made us wait almost 20–30 minutes, and then took us to a table squeezed in between two others. It felt very uncomfortable, especially when you’re paying 8–9k for a night out. When we asked for a better spot, his reply was “be open minded” – honestly not the kind of response you’d expect. After a lot of back and forth, he finally gave us a proper table, which was much better. From there, things picked up. The food was tasty (a little overpriced, but that’s expected here), and the live show was absolutely fantastic. Great music, amazing performances, and the male belly dancer really stole the show, he was the star of the night! So yeah, a rocky start but in the end we had a memorable evening.

Nice pub to visit, I have visited with my kids and they enjoyed the food, it was too good and they have lots of options to choose from, so the place I recommend for singles, couples and even the family, they should have a kids play area too as I have seen lots of family have visited with their kids, Live performances have increased the enjoyment and the overall ambience was very good, only I didn't like is the chairs, it's like old wooden chairs and it was not comfortable. You can spend 4 to 5 hours easily. They are charging 2000 per person on entry for those who are booking the table, first i think it was too high as we were 7, but then after I was satisfied so I fully recommend the place. I have enjoyed the Live show, food and ambience and chocolate Bakhlava.

🌊 Beachside Club with Greek Flair – A One-Time Experience This club is located right on the beach and features a Greek-themed restaurant. It offers a wide selection of liqueurs, diverse food options, live performances, and loud party music that creates a vibrant atmosphere. 🕘 Entry begins around 8:30 PM, with performances kicking off at 9:30 PM and continuing until 12:30 AM. Table bookings start at ₹3,000, which can be redeemed against food and drinks. However, guests who book tables at 8:30 PM must vacate them by 11 PM, and orders for those tables are accepted only until 10:45 PM. After 10 PM, most people leave their seats to enjoy the performances up close. 🎶 The vibe, DJ music, and energetic hosting make the night memorable. That said, the food quality is underwhelming—especially for vegetarians. If you're looking for a more budget-friendly option, consider dining elsewhere and entering with the ₹1,500 standing entry around 10 PM. 📌 Overall, it's a "once-in-a-lifetime" kind of place—worth visiting for the experience, but not something you'd return to often, especially since the performances remain the same each night.

Regret regret regret going here. Had been to the older thalassa at Vagator and had loved it. This time a friend recommended to this new one to celebrate a birthday. We paid 20,000 for entry with a table. It was a Saturday night and was decently empty when we entered. Some weird 10 ft big teddy bears were dancing. The place is big and basically a non ac tent. It started getting crowded by 10. And the crowd was really really bad. They were allowing stags for 1 k or 2k. And the whole place was filled with young boys with high testosterone. They were climbing on the table, smoking hookahs standing on tables, spraying champagne on other people. I just don't know what to call this type of crowd. I actually felt I was in a cheap shady joint. The entertainment was continously on abs was like a circus. There was some guy doing belly dance and it got disgusting when some guys from the crowd started putting 500 rupee note in their mouths and the belly dancer started putting his mouth on theirs to take the money. The staff also mixed up our birthday cakes and got us with someone else's name on it. Everything is overpriced too. Overall never ever going to this place again and wasted 20k. If you loved the old thalassa don't even think of going to this one.. There are so many better places in Goa you would enjoy, atleast I would.
Kiran G — Google review
Unforgettable Greek Vibe & Show-Stopping Entertainment! Thalassa is, without a doubt, a mandatory experience in Goa. It's not just a restaurant; it's a celebration! We visited right before sunset and managed to snag a table with breathtaking views as the sun dipped over the river and the sea. The white, Greek-inspired decor combined with the stunning natural backdrop creates the perfect, vibrant Mediterranean atmosphere that is genuinely perfect for all groups—whether you're with family, friends, or on a romantic night out. The highlight of the evening, as expected, was the phenomenal entertainment. The traditional Greek dances, including the energetic Sirtaki and Zorba, were an absolute spectacle, followed by a thrilling fire show and other captivating performances like belly dancing. The energy from the performers is infectious and gets the whole crowd involved. While the entertainment and ambience steal the show, the Greek cuisine and cocktails are delicious. Be sure to make a reservation well in advance, especially if you want a prime sunset spot! It’s on the pricier side, but the sheer vibe and unforgettable evening you get in return make it completely worth the money. A must-visit destination in Siolim!

If I can give a rating in minus, I would, but alas. This place is a loot and a scam. The staff is extremely unhelpful, rude and arrogant, almost as if they own the place and the customers don’t have a space here until they are paying more than 50k. We booked our table more than 2 weeks ago, then when we reached they increased the price from what was mentioned earlier, we paid anyway. When we finally entered the restaurant after much wait, they offered us a table inside a small room where there were spiders in the room, unhygienic. Of course, we argued about it, but the other choice was a table inside the outer area where there was no fan. We were 7 people, and they joined two unmatched tables for which made it extremely difficult for us to sit. Btw we paid more than 21k. We tried to sit in the main area, which was the only space well lit up, with music and with fans but even the waiters are trained to not even offer you a menu card if you sit in a table they haven’t assigned. We gave up of course and sat in the room. We had a spider in our table, no lights in the room, except for some dim table lights. They took more 20 minutes to give basic water bottle. So if you are wondering if you should spend your money here to watch Dharmesh, I would suggest, you should rather watch his Instagram reels, save your self respect and some money because this place is a clear example of class hierarchy in our society, and scams in tourism industry.

This magic place is located before the Candolim beach parking. The ambience is superb. They served all kind of alcohol and food. Live music also happening there. Food taste is good and sitting arrangement is very nicely. Helpful for young citizens and kids. I ordered vegetarian food and does taste was really good. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It's feel like you are in real on vacation.

This guy, Grey shirt manager - PLEASE EDUCATE HIM FOLKS We live here, My elderly mother, who is unwell, desperately needed to use the washroom here in Candolim. Instead of showing even the slightest compassion, the staff insisted we buy something first or else she wouldn’t be allowed. I cannot explain the pain and humiliation of seeing a sick, elderly woman denied such a basic human need. A washroom is not a luxury, it is a necessity. To turn someone away in that state is beyond heartless. I genuinely pity the mindset it takes to behave like this. One day, they too will grow old and maybe then they’ll understand the cruelty of what they did.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ MUST VISIT! What an absolutely amazing evening at Inferno, Candolim! From the moment we stepped in, the vibe was superb — a perfect blend of lovely ambience, great music, and warm hospitality. We went in two consecutive days. First day with a group and second day just couple. Nandu and Biswajit served us amazingly. Nandu guided us extremely well with the Goan dishes and I'm extremely satisfied how the group enjoyed the recommended food. Biswajit explained us intricately how the specific food we ordered are made and for him I was able to customise my ordered dish. I would highly recommend this place. The singers are good. The ambience is amazing, the people there were extraordinary and the food was heavenly.

Very underrated and unpopular place. One of the finest in Goa. Authentic Italian stuff. Loved their hummus, Veg Pizza and Veg Pasta. Everything tasted authentic and no bloatware. Cheese was super fresh and soft. Also the cocktails were awesome. Please do visit if in Candolim.

The overall vibe was amazing with a really warm and friendly staff. The pizza was good (though we ended up ordering the wrong one), and the other items were delicious. Great variety on the menu with plenty of options for each dish. Definitely worth a visit!

This restaurant has a nice ambience, but is subjected to a lot of road noise and dust. A concrete mixer was churning right across the street, when we arrived for lunch and we opted to sit inside, which is a bit dark and dimly lit. Our waiter did his job, but was unenthusiastic, didn’t smile and when we walked in, he just stared at us. We had to ask him if they were open. I had to point out the vegan item he missed on the menu. Though it came quickly, the food was not seasoned well and lacked balance in flavor. Portions are very small. We asked for additional rocket and chili oil so we could season the food ourselves. It’s nice that they have a four vegan options on their menu including a decent sized vegan margarita pizza. We added mushrooms to it and it was thin and crispy. The sauce base could be better. As one of the only Italian places in the area with an extensive menu, there’s lots of potential.

We had a wonderful time today, visiting this place was a great experience, and the dinner was absolutely delightful. The pasta with pink sauce was delicious, but the highlight of the evening was definitely the tiramisu cake — we loved it! Thank you:)

Amazing taste!! Their whole menu is reasonable and the food does absolute justice. It’s cozy inside, and it was pouring when we were about to leave, just sat and soaked in the vibes. Do try their Italian Pina Colada, not so thick but the coconut cream they used was so rich and flavourful. Also their Tiramisu is reasonable and very tasty. Definitely visiting again.

Food was delicious and the atmosphere was superb, cosy, and right by the beach. It’s best to go around sunset and reserve a table closest to the shore so you can enjoy an incredible view while dining. There was also a live band during dinner, which made the experience even more amazing! You can also relax on the beach, as they provide loungers, pool towels, and even separate showers for beachgoers.

Went for brunch on a Wednesday afternoon, to this popular Continental Cafe. Nice garden ambiance. They are open October - April only. 9am - 7pm, Tuesdays closed. It opened 1st October 2025 for the new season. Ordered: Eggs Benedict (Rs 440), Honey mustard chicken croissant (Rs 380), Couscous salad (Rs 350). Chicken cream cheese crepe, salted chocolate caramel waffle. Vietnamese iced coffee, Americano coffee. Each and every of above was of a high standard. Would strongly recommend this Cafe, for excellent food, in an enjoyable & relaxed ambiance. Note: 1. They also have a takeaway counter, with excellent cakes, home made chocolates, cookies, etc. 2. Parking is pretty difficult along this very busy road stretch, so park wherever slot available & walk to the restaurant.

The food we had was excellent. We sat outside among the trees and I kept getting bitten by something. The waiter could see this and came with a spray, which I think was a nice touch. I would say you’re best sitting away from the trees from my experience. Food and drink were lovely but expect to pay a little more than most other cafes in the area. Having said that is it good value as we couldn’t fault anything served.

We wanted to have American breakfast so headed to Chocolatti after reading a lot of positive reviews. First thing first, parking is not available at this cafe. The ambience is totally worth your visit. Nestled amongst trees, it's like you are seated in the midst of nature. A quiet place to have your breakfast peacefully. I felt the place is too over priced even while considering that it's Goa and the ambience and all. We ordered American breakfast, English breakfast, croissant with rocket leaves and bacon, Turkish eggs, egg and omelette. Amongst the mentioned dishes, only Turkish egg actually needs cooking, and it didn't taste that great though it looked good. When we asked them to serve a little jam for our 3 year old son, we were surprised to see them charge 70 rs for just 2 spoons of jam. I mean for 70rs we can actually get a whole jar of jam. Very disappointed.
