Nestled in a vibrant jungle setting, Kathu Waterfall is a hidden gem that promises an adventure for all ages. A short trek from the road leads you to this charming spot, conveniently located near Phuket Wake Park. While the base may seem unassuming, with a local eatery serving delicious made-to-order meals, the true beauty lies above. To reach the top of Kathu Waterfall, prepare for an exhilarating climb involving steep stairs and slippery rocks.
The atmosphere is nice. If you go upstairs, the waterfall has beautiful patterns. I can't take pictures because there are a lot of people. I recommend that people who want to take pictures should come on weekdays💚

An interesting place with a very beautiful picture. At the very bottom level there is a small pool for very small children. The main waterfall is located a little higher, after going up the steps. There is very beautiful flora and rich fauna here. Trees with huge trunk diameters and powerful roots, vines and various plants and flowers create a special, indescribable atmosphere in this place. There are spiders, snakes and lizards - they can mainly be found early in the morning and late in the evening. Access to the waterfall is easy, so this place can be visited with children to let them splash in the water and take photos for memory! * When visiting this attraction, you need to stock up on water, repellents and have comfortable shoes best time to visit: June - October entrance: free Full information with video and easy navigation - in the app 👉 PHUKETON

Very cool place. You can swim if you'd like. The coffe place across the bridge is very good for food and drinks. They also have chairs inside the water for a very nice experience
B Z — Google review
Don't miss out on stopping at the little coffee and bakery shop just over the bridge and beforethe stairs. Steal a moment for yourself and look for the small brook and waterfall to put your feet in the water listen to the falls and enjoy your coffee. A must experience.

A nice place for a walk.. you need to climb the stairs to reach a nice viewpoint of the waterfall.

4th August 2025. Dont waste time going here. Like a lot of Thai villages, this is a disaster. Dirty, trash everywhere, pathways and seats all broken.. It's such a terrible shame. Both tourists and locals to blame..

Good waterfall, easy to get and free to visit. There is normal road, parking, paths, shops.

Phuket Wake Park is a paradise for wakeboarding enthusiasts, offering challenging obstacle courses and lessons for all skill levels. The park is known as the best wake park in Asia, providing professional coaching and training cables for beginners. In addition to wakeboarding, visitors can enjoy other recreational activities and fitness training options. After an exhilarating day on the water, guests can relax in comfortable lounges and savor delicious Thai cuisine.
As a bystander this place is amazing, I've watched professionals practice for hours here!! Like world class athletes training here.. just a cool vibe and a fun sport.
James B — Google review
Recommend learning first as the turns on this mechanism is different but once I learnt it it was super smooth and fun, way cheaper than renting out a boat in the ocean and nice obstacles. If you fall in the middle a motorcycle will pick you up and drive you back very promptly. Nice coaches and cable operators, teaching you how to start.
Marcus C — Google review
Our experience at Wake Park was far from good. We had never done wakeboarding in our lives and just wanted to try. The receptionist did not give us any useful information. When asked about at least some information on how to do it, there was no clear response so we had to find out ourselves. We took a practice wakeboard and the staff at the machine is just so terribly unfriendly and does not give any instructions. I understand that this place might be more for "professionals", but the guidance for beginners is to cry for. On top of that, when asked for a simple receipt so that we could use it for our Thai company, they rejected to do that. They could not provide anything! May I remind the business owner that this is absolutely illegal. We paid for your service so we should be able to obtain a receipt somehow. Absolutely ridiculous. Nice though that they gave a cheaper price when I showed my work permit. That is the only good thing I have to say. If you are a beginner, don't waste your time to come here.

Was absolutely amazing! Recommend two hours time flys and till you learn it takes a while (took my husband about 40 min to learn ) totally recommend and worth the price
Devora G — Google review
Decent place for a beginner. Never tried wake surfing before but found it enjoyable. The trainer from Myanmar was very very patient and kind, especially to the kids that were there with us. Not many facilities were open when we went there but enough to have a good time
Derek K — Google review
Great park for more advanced riders I think. It was my first time trying wake board. 2500B I had 30min training at small track and 1h wake on big track. When you fall guy with motorcycle come to pick u up and take you to the start. Video is my first start at big track (I fall at first left turn 😄)
Rene J — Google review
it was the first time and last. The good thing I had a camera with me and record the training time. The agreement was 30 minutes, unfortunately it was 17 minutes. "they gave me the feeling that you don't know how to do it or you're not worth for training. if you are interested come back again." I was suspicious that was planned from them to make me come back again.

My friends and I booked a 5 day holiday here to ride for the week. By the 2nd day all 3 of us had staph infections and really bad headaches. The water is extremely dirty. Avoid. Much better places and cleaner to ride in ASIA.

Tiger Kingdom in Phuket offers a unique and unforgettable experience for visitors to get up close and personal with tigers in safe, caged enclosures. The attraction provides an opportunity to learn about these majestic animals, take a leisurely walk through the park, and even feed or take photos with the tigers. With premium insurance included in the ticket, visitors can also explore educational exhibits and enjoy a personal encounter with the tigers.
Tiger Kingdom was such a unique experience! Being able to get so close to the tigers and even take photos with them was unforgettable. The staff seemed knowledgeable and kept everything safe, which made me feel comfortable. The place is clean and well-maintained. It’s a bit pricey, but for such a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, it felt worth it.
Aya — Google review
This was my first time to meet a tiger.. we were really frightened but everything went well. Although I found it a little expensive as there is ticket for tigers sizewise and doing all of it is around 6300 baht.. then there are miscellaneous categories as well like Special tiger, giant tiger or cheetah. The handling of tigers while we are inside is little concerning, for photos they wake them up by sticks or by spraying water. Other than this, tigers are tamed and healthy. The experience is exhilarating.
Yogesh K — Google review
You can see the tigers for free. But to pet them and take photos with them you have to pay 900 bhat or so depending on the type of tiger. (I really hope they are treated well otherwise it would be animal cruelty) The tigers are tame and there’s no need to worry. However there could be a waiting period
Priyanjalaa S — Google review
Unique experience. Come early to avoid queues. Tickets are expensive (1000baht+) but worth it for the experience. Got the photo package too which is really good - they take loads and upload on your phone and give you a USB. The staff will also take a picture or two if you request it with your phone, just give them a small tip (they’re actually pretty decent photographers). The tigers themselves are often asleep, which is apparently the norm. Didn’t see any bad handling from the staff, they all seem to have a good relationship with the tigers. The tigers themselves are so majestic.
Shaheak — Google review
We went there during weekdays around 10am. So far the process went smooth. We took photographer. They help us to take good photos with tigers. Feel so amazing and excited to see 🐅🐆 nearby and touch them. (Only allow 10min inside cage) U can see them from outside, no time limit. Only one thing * the animals look Sleepy most of the time during our visit in the cage. Overall great experiences.
Tawamani S — Google review
Nice and clean place. Need to be lucky and easy on pocket for the tiger to be fully awake. We got bad weather so had to see the tiger in the cage. Best time is to reach between 9-9.30 to avoid the queue. We reached at 9.30 so had a shorter queue.
Rahul J — Google review
The waiting list is sooooo long up to 3 hours You probably need to come very early Don’t take just walking tickets as there is nothing to see from walking only as caged are super far from alley and not much things are visible and this cannot be upgraded as well. Too many people and too noisy. It’s 10 min only for tiger, touch and take photo - probably enough, but not waiting for this 2+ hours ( went Thursday, around 2 pm) Probably playing with cubs is more fun It’s also overpriced, would not come back
Iman K — Google review
A different experience than zoo if you opt to take photo with the tiger. Bit scary but the trainers are all around. They say tigers are not under sedation and their claws are not cut but I doubt it, honestly

Wat Kathu, located on the outskirts of a village, has recently undergone renovations and is now a picturesque spot that attracts many photographers, including those from China and Korea. This tranquil place offers insight into Thailand's cultural history and is an important site for religious activities. While it may not always be open to visitors, the serene atmosphere and beautiful surroundings make it worth exploring.
A very interesting and beautiful complex is located in the area of the island with the same name. A picturesque place with many trees and very green - which is why the air here is very fresh and pleasant. In the center of the temple complex there is a large, sacred tree, the branches of which cover a large number of interesting figures and statues of Buddha - in this place you can relax in the shade from the sun. There are many interesting buildings here, inherent in Buddhist culture. Near the large, familiar boat, there is another one - small and very elegant. It is made of white stone and has a blue roof - it looks very beautiful and contrasting, against the background of the greenery surrounding it. Simple temple not much to see, for me worth it only if you close to this place.

One big scam, where inside the main building 'golden' amulets are sold for hundreds of dollars, which are simply made of Chinese plastic and have no value whatsoever. Buddhism is misused here to scam tourists.

Beautiful temple. Although it was not open when we visited, we still enjoyed the serenity & scenery while walking the grounds.

Beautiful place. But NEVER buy an (plastic) amulet!! Instead go to Tesco Lotus Jewelry and buy the same amulet much cheaper!👌🏽.

The place was closed when I was there, even at mid day. No signage or board to show the temple operating hours, so does their website.

It's my local temple, only 2 minutes from my village. On my last visit to pay respects to my pets that have passed away over the years, I was really surprised by the amount of overgrown trees and bushes. Mixed in with all that is a load of rubbish. It really needs a good cleaning and tidying up.

Had dinner at Sizzle Rooftop on the weekend and was really impressed. The food was top quality, everything tasted great and was beautifully presented. The view is stunning – especially at sunset if the sky is clear. The staff were friendly, service was quick and attentive. Special thanks to Mam for her outstanding cocktails – every drink was perfectly mixed and full of flavor. Prices are fair for the level of quality. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I would like to thank Tamal, Francis, Nikki and Prince as well as the Chef and the crew for making our anniversary celebration a very memorable experience. ⭐️ The view and sunset at Sizzle Rooftop Bar are absolutely world class, and the service — especially from the Italian manager — was outstanding. Starters, bread and drinks were excellent, and the sides were also good. Unfortunately, the steaks were a big letdown: overcooked, lacking freshness, and not what you’d expect for the high price. The replacement beef cheek was overly salty and didn’t redeem the meal. Great spot for drinks and the view, but not worth it if you’re going for the steak. Timmo Tested 👎

What a gorgeous location, overseeing forest and beach in Phuket. Service was lovely, our starters were amazing, rib eye perfect but unfortunately the crab, even though the sauce was lovely and some of the crab was cooked, the claws were raw. What a shame, I had to send it back. They tried to charge us for it even though I didn't eat it. Other than that, it was lovely.
EVA S — Google review
We had food and drinks there 2 nights during our stay. The food both times was incredible and the staff were helpful in explaining what can be made gluten free, and what cannot. The first night we had cocktails which were not the best, and not value for money. But the second night we went we were served by Prince and received impeccable service and had the Negroni which was one of the best we’ve ever had. For food we had oysters, the grouper fish and jumbo prawns with various sides and everything tasted delicious. They also have a DJ and the music is vibey and very groovy - shame it doesn’t get very busy and turn into a bit of a party place.

Tambu Phuket, located at Avista Hideaway Phuket Patong Mgallery, is a rooftop restaurant offering progressive Indian charcoal cuisine. The restaurant boasts a stunning view of the Andaman Sea and mountain forests, creating an elegant and tranquil dining atmosphere. Helmed by renowned chef Saurabh Sachdeva, Tambu promises an immersive journey into the rich flavors and traditions of India. The exquisite rooftop tent setting adds to the sophistication of the dining experience.
Wow - such an amazing experience here. I took my husband for his birthday celebration, he loved it very much. The food is amazing - we did the courses with wine pairings. I especially loved the lamb dish. The atmosphere also very nice, I recommend to go during sunset time for the best view (: and that day we went - the hotel had a fire show! And i have to say all the staffs are very polite, friendly ! Love love everything. Thank you Tambu
Pearl P — Google review
We got the tasting menu at Tambu, and every dish made us feel like we were right in India — bursting with authentic spices, herbs, and depth of flavor. At first, I was a bit worried that everything would be too spicy, but I was pleasantly surprised — I could taste every note: sweet, savory, salty, and rich. The starters were already strong contenders, especially the ragda — flavorful, comforting, and a perfect start. From there, each course built beautifully toward the mains. My favorites were the butter chicken and the lobster — both perfectly balanced and full of character. Some of the chefs even came out to explain the dishes themselves, which made the experience more personal. One of them even served us an extra portion of butter chicken, which was such a thoughtful gesture and definitely a highlight of the evening. The place itself was beautiful and had a relaxing ambiance. Although it was a bit cloudy that day and we couldn’t see the sunset, the view and atmosphere still made the experience special. It was also a meaningful night because I celebrated my partner’s birthday here. Our server, Lenny, was incredibly helpful and thoughtful, making sure we understood and enjoyed every dish. Knowing that Lenny was also a kababayan made us feel even more at home. The executive chef personally checked on us to ensure everything was perfect — and it truly was. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish — flavorful, heartfelt, and memorable. Highly recommended!

Modern Indian cuisine with a twist. Some old favourites and some interesting appetisers with great presentation. My wife has dietary requirements due to requiring gluten free which I mentioned in the booking and we were well catered for with the head chef confirming what they could change for the dishes we selected. We chose a range of appetisers and dessert. Presentation, service and taste was excellent. A shame it was raining as it’s a rooftop restaurant with a great view. Atmosphere was still great and would definitely recommend for an experience.

We visited Tambu three times during our trip to Phuket, and every experience was excellent. The dishes were outstanding—flavorful, generous in size, and beautifully balanced. We really appreciated the glass kitchen, which allowed us to see the chefs at work, as well as the great attention to small details that made each meal special. The service was wonderful, warm, and attentive. The tasting menu was truly a highlight and turned out to be the best meal of our trip. We highly recommend this place!

On our all boys trip, we decided to eat at Tambu, since we were staying at the Avista. The experience was surreal. On a cool July Phuket night we were treated to some excellent food. It began with the following; 1. Palak Patta Chat- This was uniquely made with liquid nitrogen. They in-fact wheel a cart to your table just like chaat-gaadis. 2. Potato Starter- Very good. 3. Paneer Tikka- The most fresh and succulent paneer I've ever eaten. 4. Daal Makhni- Lip-smacking- kudos to you chef. 5. Missi Roti & Saag- Hot, tasty and full of flavor. 6. Biryani- Had meat didn't eat. Anusha and Sushmita- you guys are fabulous! We enjoyed our time here.

When I found out that Tambu won a new award, I decided to visit them again. It was my second time at Tambu, and every time I think it can’t get any better, they surprise me! The new dishes were incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. I was especially impressed by the dessert tower with five different fillings. And on top of that, there was a stunning fire show. Thank you, Tambu, for the amazing experience!

This place really is awesome - cool space. The food is incredible with lots of theatre and a genuine pride in Indian cuisine - keep spreading the love. I know the dry-ice wine glass is a bit of a gimmick but the glasses be cold and they use Gabriel Glas which always gets my vote. A word of caution- not enough to dock a star but the wine is punchy even by Thai standards and be warned keep a wide berth from the Indian wine - not good. But everything else is incredible so definitely go. We travelled far in the rain and terrible traffic and didn’t regret it!

Six nights at hotel Avista Hideaway and Six consecutive Dinners at Tambu!! Never tasted this much mouth watering indian cuisine even in India which we had at Tambu. The flavours and preparation was so mesmerising that we can’t resist licking the spoons. Black garlic naan was something which i tasted first time and it really became my favourite with Black dal makhni. Staff is so friendly that it felt like a family to us. Our daughter Eyana was so excited daily to visit Tambu and had really good friendships with staff especially Anusha Mam. Chef Saurabh’s hardwork is seen in the presentation and the taste he developed for the food overseas. Thankful to the staff Akhilesh sir, Anusha & Sushmita mam and all the team for serving us.

Ta Khai, located within the Trisara Resort in Phuket, offers a charming and rustic dining experience with a focus on seafood made from fresh local ingredients. The restaurant's name means 'fishing net', reflecting its emphasis on seafood dishes. The menu features flavorful dishes with slightly toned-down spicing for Western palates, and two set menus provide a variety of options to try. Guests can enjoy the beautiful setting and terrace seating while savoring authentic Thai cuisine.
We had a delightful dining experience. We tried two different set menus, and almost all the dishes were incredibly amazing and delicious. Overall, it was a great experience. The ambiance was beautiful and picturesque, surrounded by lights and candles. The outdoor seating offered a stunning sea view. Everyone at the restaurant was dedicated to making our experience memorable. The appetizers and desserts were impressive, and the main courses had unique flavors. All the seafood items were delicious, especially the snapper and shrimp. If you can afford it, I highly recommend visiting this place. Including taxes and sparkling water, the average cost per person was around 2500 baht.
Siripuram B — Google review
We enjoyed the food and the ambience however, the staff attitude spoilt the evening for us. Food 1. stir fried pork belly - was good and a different taste from the usual thai fare. 2. Tom yum goong - not sure if this was a taste from the south as mentioned by the server but it was sweet and tasted like tomato soup instead 3. Stir fried merlinjo veg - not sure if I spelt it correctly but it is a local veg and tasted good with it being stir fried with dried shrimps. 4. Grilled seabass - from pond to table concept. Guests get to eat their own catch from the pond. Fish was fresh and grilled nicely . Wine list - suggest the wine list could be expanded and include more variety of grapes and locations. Ambience - nice village/nature set up. Staff - the male server attending to our table met the requirements of a server, although the friendliness felt forced at times however, still cordial and acceptable. BUT he disappeared after we made the payment and it was pouring. We were seated in the indoor glass house and had no way to get to the main area without an umbrella. No umbrella was left for us and no one was around for us. We were shouting “EXCUSE ME”, “HELLOOO” multiple times and loudly. The female servers at the outdoor patio were SO FOCUSED on their job of pulling down the blinds (facing us yet could not see or hear us). The staff at the cashier were also standing around and we felt they looked in our direction and looked away. but no reaction to come get us. Both of us were now shouting together and all the staff still could not hear us! They were notified by the guests sitting NEXT to the outdoor counter where the 2 female servers were to let them know we were calling them. Guests could hear us but not them - something we could not understand. When one of the female servers came over with an umbrella, the following convo proceeded (in actual words). Us: “you couldn’t hear us shouting excuse me?” Server: “YA I can hear you now” Us: “what about just now?” Server: stared at us and diverted the topic “you want buggy back to room?” The tone used was impatient and unhappy and her face was as black as the wok. We were appalled at this reaction and attitude. Working at rosewood does not mean you’re of an elevated status or was it because we were Asians and not caucasians? Of course, forget about a tip.

Visited during stay in Patong, and i would recommend to anyone traveling in Phuket. Restaurant is beautiful, and at night it looks magical. Hidden from the surroundings, close to the beach, with beautiful garden. Food has been exceptional! We ordered a set menu, containing of 4 servings, we left full and happy! To the food we had some cocktails, not paired with the menu, can be an improvement for the restaurant in the future! As for service, we were welcomed and shown the area around the kitchen, there is a garden where the team is growing their herbs! Its always nice to see the food that later we eat :) During our dinner while one of us has been still eating the other plate has been already cleaned, so therefore 4 starts, my boyfriend also dropped his fork on the ground, but no one has noticed (he didn’t mind), but as the restaurant is Michelin guide recommended I would expect the staff to notice and replace it with a clean one. In general i think its an amazing place to visit!

Part of the Rosewood Phuket but welcoming many guests from outside the hotel, Ta Khai is a upscale and refined Thai restaurant off the south end of Patong. The staff are super friendly and accommodating, giving is a nice tour around the restaurant before we were seated. We eventually moved in doors to enjoy the AC and avoid the mosquitos. We opted for ale carte which I recommend to focus on the dishes you enjoy. I would highly recommend the stir fried roasted pork as well as the fried spring rolls. I was curious about how different the Pad See Eew could be and it did not disappoint. The pork was plump, the noodles full of bounce. I would also recommend taking a look at the seafood counter to pick out something, we got river prawns BBQ another flawlessly executed dish.

Ta Khai was our favourite meal of the trip! We sampled a few different dishes, some we chose ourselves and others were recommended by our lovey waiters. We opted for some of the fresh seafood on display, and the standout for me was the whole Crab which we got wok fried Phad Char. It was herbaceous and spicy, though not overpowering—delicious even if a bit tricky to eat with the shell. We also got the whole fish - (cooked as Tod Rad Prik Sabparot ) a sweeter dish compared to the others but equally as nice Another favorite was the Yum Nuea Yang (Thai beef salad)—simple but so well-executed. The Poh Pia Sod (fresh Phuket rolls) also impressed, especially the accompanying sauce which brought everything together perfectly. The mocktail (Ta Krai fizz) I ordered was incredibly refreshing definitely worth a mention! Highly recommend if you're in Phuket and looking for something nice

The best restaurant we have ever eaten at, by far. Every dish was 10/10 and the mango sticky rice was out of this world. Cocktails were based on Thai cuisine and were delicious. Five stars are not enough for this place! I went with my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday, and it turned out to be a truly wonderful and memorable experience. The servers were incredibly kind and attentive, and the chef’s talent shone through every dish. Each course was full of soul and beautifully prepared. What made it even more special was that the chef himself came out to serve the dishes, explaining each one with such passion. The well-trained servers also added thoughtful details that elevated the whole dining experience. Everything—from the food to the service to the atmosphere—was just perfect. I can’t wait to come back again! I also had the chance to meet the manager, who shared her dream of opening her own restaurant one day. I truly hope she makes that dream come true—I would be more than happy to be one of her first guests! Thanks to the chef and the servers🤓

This was the best part of our Phuket trip, and we’re so glad we made this decision. Morphine, our warm and friendly waitress for the evening, was absolutely amazing and attentive to every detail. She took such great care of us during our anniversary dinner, and her thoughtful explanation of each course made the experience even more memorable. We also had the pleasure of meeting Chef Maksim in person. The food was exceptional, every ingredient was perfectly chosen and thoughtfully combined to bring out the best in each dish. Chef Maksim kindly shared with us his inspiring journey and philosophy on how locally sourced ingredients can be elevated when paired with premium produce from around the world, creating an unforgettable dining experience. My personal favorite was the creative and delicious take on bafun uni, ankimo (milk bun), and the kalamansi sphere. I’ve never tasted anything quite so unique and flavorful before, each bite was a delightful surprise. Thank you for making our anniversary night so special. We’ll definitely be back for more!

We had the most wonderful experience at L'arome by the Sea, Phuket! From the moment we arrived, everything felt special — the atmosphere was calm and romantic, the view of the sea was breathtaking, and the food was simply outstanding. Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and made with so much care. But what truly made our evening unforgettable was the amazing service. A huge thank you to Morphine, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. She was kind, professional, and incredibly thoughtful — her warm attitude and attention to detail made us feel truly cared for. It was one of the most memorable nights of our honeymoon, and we left with full hearts and happy smiles. Thank you, L'arome by the Sea, for giving us such a beautiful experience and for making our honeymoon even more special. We’ll definitely come back someday!

Great place, it kind surprised us after so many days eating the same food we were excited to have a nice elaborate dinner. Maria was the sweetest on the phone getting us a table last minute and June our server was super professional and into what she was doing. The plates were all amazing, everything filled with unexpected taste and so memorable. We did chose the wagyu menu and it was the best choice compensatijg for the other seafood dishes we had. Max the somellier was very knowledgeable and helped us pairing the dishes beautifully. Would definitely recommend to have the experience.

Completely blown away by what transpired this evening. We chose L’Arôme by the Sea expecting traditional French cuisine, but what we discovered was something far from this a masterful fusion of Japanese precision, local inspiration, and French finesse, was presented to us on an amazingly imaginative menu. Every course was a symphony of flavour, crafted by Chef Max, whose understanding of ingredients is simply outstanding. The team were warm, attentive, and explained each dish with passion. The setting, service, and ambience all came together perfectly. An absolute joy for my wife and I truly one of Phuket’s most inspired dining experiences.

[🇹🇭] L'Arôme by the Sea – Phuket - a MICHELIN Guide Restaurant. The menu combines local ingredients with seasonal European produce, prepared with modern techniques and presented with elegant plating. My first fine dining experience at L'Arôme by the Sea in Phuket was one to remember. The food stood out with every dish. Each bite brought out clear, balanced flavors, showing care in the preparation. The menu felt thoughtful, turning simple ingredients into something special. Every course left an impression, making the meal truly satisfying. Under the creative direction of Chef Maksym Chukanov, each course is a modern French interpretation of the ocean’s essence — refined, pure, and deeply inspired by the rhythm of the sea. L'Arôme by the Sea made my first fine dining experience unforgettable. It’s a place worth visiting in Phuket. I recommend booking a table!

Had dinner last night at L’Arõme, the moment we arrived we felt that we were special right away, our name was even printed ok the menu, and we received a greeting card on the table. The service crew were so nice and sweet, they introduced the source of their food before the 1st course , each course was so well presented and delicious, the 1st one was brown crab, it felt like melting in my mouth right away, which was amazing. The 4th course was Yuzu with milk bun, that was duck liver was on top of sliced grapes, it was so good. Overall experience was excellent, we will come back another time to try other food on the menu .

Krua Tungtong, affectionately known as Big Chicken, is a must-visit dining spot in Phuket that specializes in Kai Yang, or grilled chicken. This halal-friendly establishment offers a delightful array of meat and seafood dishes infused with local flavors. The restaurant's standout feature is the giant rooster statue that greets visitors, symbolizing its popularity among locals and tourists alike. Located near the Phuket Country Club, this charming venue has been serving delicious Thai cuisine for over two decades.
A good local restaurant serving tasty Thai food with great quick service. There’s plenty of food options on the menu, my highlight was the Creamy lime sauce chicken. The price is good and the atmosphere is nice

We visited after hearing they had vegan options available. When we asked about the vegan menu card mentioned in other reviews, we were directed to the vegetarian section instead. A staff member was able to point out a few dishes that could be made vegan once we asked, but it seemed there was some confusion around what vegan actually means. I had to explain that we did not want egg in our fried rice. The food itself was tasty, although the sauce on the stir fried broccoli had a strong buttery flavour, which left us unsure if it was truly vegan. While the food was enjoyable overall, I would not return personally, as I did not feel confident that they fully understood vegan requirements.

The food is delicious and very fast. Price is good as our group of 8 with many reorder only less than 2600bht. We ate here 2 times during our stay at B2 hotel as it is walking distance. Highly recommand.

Nicer place to get delicious food. Service is good, food is fresh, drinks are cold. Can have the choice to eat out in the open air outside, under the roof, or inside of an air conditioned room for those really hot days. A bit more expensive than more local restaurants, but that comes with the nicer environment and setting.

Really good old school authentic Thai, finally a Thai restaurant that does not need to overload the dishes with sugar.

My family and I have been coming to Krua Thung Thong for over 10 years, several times a year, and it has always been one of our favorite spots in Phuket. Unfortunately, our visit yesterday was very disappointing compared to all the wonderful meals we’ve enjoyed here in the past. The flavors and quality that we loved seem to have changed since the old cook left. The som tum was poorly prepared, falling apart on the spoon instead of having its usual freshness and crunch. The chicken was undercooked, which was unsafe and very concerning. Even the rice, which was always perfectly cooked before, was watery. It also seemed like the food may have been kept from morning until night, rather than prepared fresh. It’s really sad to see such a decline in a place we trusted for so long. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and brings back the high standards that made Krua Thung Thong special for the past decade.
