The Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site in Laramie is a captivating destination for history enthusiasts and families alike. This restored 1872 prison once held the infamous outlaw Butch Cassidy for 18 months, offering visitors a glimpse into its intriguing past through self-guided and guided tours.
An excellent slice of history has been preserved and renovated to showcase its authenticity. Being presented a "prisoner" at admission added an element of curiosity to the process. The museum has a lot of great information and throughout our 3000 mile trip, we kept learning more about Butch Cassidy but this was the most information in one place (we decided he was an intelligent & charismatic man who was never going to settle down - much to his parents' despair). The broom factory was excellent as the guide provided a great deal of information in addition to a brief demonstration for our questions. Really enjoyed the whole thing and it left a remarkable impression of Wyoming.
Emm D — Google review
Very interesting people have stayed here. The renovations are amazing. They still make brooms. We spent about two hours but had to leave as they were closing.
Melissa G — Google review
Very interesting history. Even better if you enjoy visiting prisons of the past n how they were run. The first with a women's wing (2 cells only, n they never left it). It could appear that the guards were also "prisoners" while working. Butch Cassidy has his own exhibit inside. There's a broom making Factory out back, that still handmakes n sells the brooms. When the prison closed it was turned into a farm. It bk is a tropics town. Definately worth visiting. A thorough visit can take 3-4 hrs.
Karen T — Google review
Stayed overnight waiting to see it. We didn't think it was worth it. The "tour guide" said, let me know if you have any questions. The lady working in the broom making didn't even acknowledge us. It was just ok. Cool to say we went. But not sure I would have stayed overnight to see it.
Jimmy O — Google review
Hubby & I visited this place and took the guided tour. Our guide was very good and told stories of several inmates that were incarcerated there. One of the most famous was Butch Cassidy. Recommend visiting if in the Laramie area.
K. W — Google review
Explored the Wyoming Territorial Prison, once home to the famous outlaw Butch Cassidy. From the old cells to the barns, wagons, and mill work, it was fascinating to see how prisoners lived—creating brooms, building furniture, and caring for animals. A true step back into the Wild West
Jamie S — Google review
Really good historical site. The guide was well versed on everything there. Would highly recommend.
Aaron M — Google review
Really found this to be a neat place to experience and it was interesting to learn about that time period and about some of the male and female prisoners that were held there.

The Wyoming Women's History House in Laramie, Wyoming is a downtown museum that pays tribute to Louisa Swain and 12 other influential women from the state. Louisa Swain made history as the first woman to vote in a general election in 1870, thanks to laws granting equal voting rights to men and women. This free museum showcases the remarkable achievements of women in Wyoming, earning the state its nickname 'the Equality State' for being the first to grant women voting rights.
Wyoming is a historic leader of women’s rights when it comes to the right to vote and sit on juries. Stop in and learn more from the knowledgeable staff and informative displays. There are some neat artifacts and lots of beautiful quilts. It’s free to visit, too!

The world needs more places dedicated to the empowerment of women. A cute little museum right across the street from an excellent place to eat. A must for anyone who visits or stays and Laramie.
Electric C — Google review
Very nice collection of memorabilia. Informative guide walked us through the house and gave historical information. Wyoming and specifically Laramie has a lot of important history when it comes to women, lots of "firsts". I enjoyed the visit.
Margaret P — Google review
Sue was so kind and helpful! We learned so much about the amazing and inspiring women of Laramie, Wyoming, starting with the first woman to vote in the world! Also first woman Governor, first Justice of the Peace, first prison Chaplain, first bailiff, and first woman on jury duty! Come stop by and be inspired by the strong women of Laramie!
Leilani N — Google review
We stopped by but because we had our dogs with us, we thought we would have to settle for just a photo with the statue of Louisa in the courtyard. My husband ended up ducking his head in while I stayed outside with the dogs and the tour guide gave him a super interesting mini-tour, then we swapped places and she gave me the same tour. We learned so much and are still talking about it the next day! Highly recommend stopping in here.

Very interesting and unique museum in downtown Laramie. Features a small plaza off of Second Street. The museum contains a lot of resources about women who contributed to settling and building precedent for equal representation in Wyoming, from early territorial history to statehood and the present.

Sights & Landmarks
Established in 1886, the University of Wyoming is located on the Laramie Plains and boasts a geological museum. It is the only four-year university in the state and offers more than just academic pursuits. The campus features attractions such as the University of Wyoming Art Museum, which showcases rotating exhibits and a permanent collection dating back to the 15th century.
Visited Coe Library to search for old photos from when I attended in the 80s. Staff was friendly and helpful. Even helped me navigate microfische!
Karen L — Google review
Really nice campus, but out of state tuition is crazy. Why would anyone pay an extra 15k to get same degree as home state.
Seth O — Google review
Beautiful campus. Not much parking. Somehow there is always construction. Football season is fun.
Davis A — Google review
Worst parking known to man. As a student you will basically never get a spot and don’t even worry about paying for a parking pass because it is so expensive and you will not be guaranteed a spot. Otherwise a great school but the parking situation has been a problem for years and has not been addressed whatsoever. It is only getting worse with the new dorms in place.

VETERANS BEWARE!! THIS SCHOOL DOES NOT CARE IF YOUVE SERVED AND WILL NOT HELP YOU! I am a veteran and decided to use my GI Bill during the COVID lock down to pursue an education in engineering at UW. I spoke with multiple faculty members before classes started letting them know that this was my first stint at an actual university. I was excited but also ignorant and I made sure to let them know so I didn't let anything slip through the cracks. I'd lived in Wyoming for the past 3+ years as a govt contractor and had proof through taxes and lease agreements. They charged me as a non-resident and never informed me. I worked extremely hard and passed all of my classes! Over the years I've jumped through hopes with the VA and their billing department to no avail. Nobody will help me and now I'm almost $7000 in debt for schooling (and thats for only 1 semester!!!) I had already paid for with my time in service and my own money while in the service. This school could care less about it's veterans or the free money they get for us choosing their school. I'd give 0 stars if I could.
Amber E — Google review
Always a gorgeous campus. The flag at Cowboy Field needs fixed.
Terry M — Google review
My alma mater, and I have a lot of love for UW. I have competed my bachelor's and master's from UW, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Laramie is a great town to go to school in that it small enough to feel like a community, has great food and provides other opportunities that create a memorable experience. The campus here is beautiful as well, and during my masters I occasionally served as a guide during our seminar meetings (online masters) to people that had never been to Laramie, and they were always impressed with the campus. I could go on and on about UW and Laramie, but just know I love UW, it's faculty, facilities, opportunities, and the memories you make! Consider it if you are looking to enroll! Ask me questions if you would like to hear from an Alumni!
Nathan — Google review
I strongly discourage anyone from attending this school. The service that you get when enrolling leaves a great deal to be desired. This could be because they have a monopoly in WY. After expressly stating the classes I needed to take my Advisor planned a path with none of the classes I needed. Their reason was most people just want to graduate. The advisor and financial aid office was aware I was still finishing my Associates before the term started. Then the financial aid office refused to release my financial aid till I gave them proof of my Associates. I requested to have all of my classes dropped and be removed from school because it was turning into a circus and the registrars office said they did that. I found out weeks later that not only had they not withdrawn me from the classes but they instead decided to finally process the financial aid 3 months too late. If you want drama, a circus, confusion, terrible service, or financial issues this is the school for you. If you don't then go else where.

Historic Sites
The Laramie Plains Museum is housed in the Historic Ivinson Mansion and showcases a wide range of artifacts that provide insight into the local history of the area. The museum provides an enjoyable and informative experience for visitors, with knowledgeable docents providing information on topics such as the Ivinson family, antiques, and the former girls school that occupied the building. The outdoor area is also beautiful and has been used for events such as marriage vow renewals.
we read about their $2 “Halloween” self guided tour and we are so glad we came to check it out! it was delightful getting to walk around this amazing house! we spent almost an hour and a half looking through each room. the sweet student, Bridget, answered our questions and gave us lots of great information. i believe they normally just do guided tours, but this was a special treat! if you’ve ever been to the Biltmore Estate in NC, this is significantly smaller, but of similar interest!

Today’s visit to the Laramie Plains Museum, also known as the Ivinson Mansion, was hands-down a most memorable and delightful experience! This beautifully preserved Victorian home is a true treasure, full of rich history and absolutely gorgeous period furnishings. Every room is like a perfectly curated time capsule—warm, elegant, and brimming with character. But what made the tour truly exceptional was our phenomenal guide, Bailey. Although still considered a “junior docent” Bailey was beyond impressive—confident, knowledgeable, and incredibly well-spoken. She guided us through the mansion with ease and enthusiasm, a great sense of humor, sharing historical insights, fascinating stories, and small details that brought the home and its former inhabitants vividly to life. Her passion for history was awesome! From the intricate woodwork and ornate décor to the personal artifacts and clothing displays, every part of the Ivinson Mansion felt alive with stories of the past. It’s clear that the museum is lovingly cared for by people who truly value its legacy—and Bailey is a shining example of that dedication. Whether you’re a history buff or simply curious, this museum is an absolute must-see. We left feeling inspired, informed, and truly grateful for the experience. Thank you, Bailey, for an unforgettable tour! You are a star in the making. Do yourself a favor—visit the Laramie Plains Museum. You won’t regret it.

The Laramie Plains Museum is such a charming and historic location to photograph! The architecture and vintage details throughout the building make it a beautiful setting for portraits or wedding photos. Every room has its own character, and the surrounding grounds add a timeless, classic touch. The staff was kind and accommodating, making the experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. A perfect spot for anyone who loves a mix of history and elegance in their photos!

This was an amazing place to visit and learn. I homeschool my boys, and we are driving home from Alabama to Nevada . We are visiting historic areas, and this is a must-see. What an eye opener and just wholesome history. We had a great time. The staff was amazing, very informative, and answered all our questions. If you ever find yourself here, take an hr to tour this bit of history. 😁
Natasha K — Google review
I am going to be honest, I am conflicted on this one. The Iverson house was incredible. It is so well-preserved that it genuinely looks like they lived there yesterday. Not a spec of dust or signs of damage. Even the props/artifacts were in pristine condition for being well over 100 years old. However, most of my complaints will fall on the tour guide. He was definitely on the shy side, and that's fine not everyone can be an exceptional public speaker. But this shyness also bled into his inability to recall sufficient information for a guided tour that you have to pay money for. The tour also really fell off the rails at the end there, and really just became a "go do what you want" thing. I don't want to nitpick on this detail too much, but a tour guide wearing gym shorts does not strike me as being very professional at all, and can come across as immersion-breaking. I'm not expecting business formal in a suit and tie, especially in the Summer heat, but I do think that some jeans, cargo shorts, or something would be a touch more appropriate. Overall the house was excellent, but the tour does need some deep improvement.
Ethan A — Google review
I've been here twice now. Excellent both times! Docents each time were quite different from each other, but both very knowledgeable and able to give many fascinating details on the background of pieces in the house. I would definitely go back a third time!
Adam L — Google review
We took a self-guided walking tour of Downtown Laramie and came across the Plains Museum in the Invinson Mansion. For a small fee we toured the three-storied historical home of one of the wealthiest families of Laramie in it's early years. Our guide led us through the home, telling the story of the home's family, servants and events. If you want to immerse yourself in the rich history of Laramie during the Territorial days to Wyoming's early Statehood, I would highly recommend this museum.

Discover the wonders of prehistoric times at the Geological Museum located at the University of Wyoming in Laramie. The museum offers a fascinating journey through time, featuring a 75-foot Apatosaurus skeleton and other dinosaur exhibits. Laramie itself is surrounded by picturesque landscapes, including the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest and Snowy Range Mountains, providing ample opportunities for outdoor adventures such as rock climbing at Vedauwoo Recreation Area or skiing at Snowy Range Ski Area.
LOVE this museum. We used to come at least once a week when we lived in Laramie over 16 years ago and we were so excited to see all the improvements and changes that have been made since then. While visiting here, hop over to the Insect Museum a few buildings down and check it out too.

Free museum popular with kids and families. Something to do while on campus.

Small museum but very good. Less than 45 min to see. Biggest problem is finding parking. Most places on campus are taken and city parking requires permit.

Really cool , it’s small but don’t judge it by its appearance it has so many cool things and it’s free . It’s on campus which is convenient and it’s very clean . Kiddos really welcome

Small, but worthwhile museum in the Geology building. Good for both adults and kids. And it’s free! We parked on the street just bordering campus and it was a pleasant walk there.

From the moment we entered, we were greeted, welcomed and treated like the only visitors, even while it remained busy! Our time was filled with knowledge and experiences we won't forget- especially our exclusive permission to get so close to Big Al!! Special thanks to Dr. Viletti and Steve for making our day so special!
Jane R — Google review
Such a neat little museum for being free! The Apatosaurus (use to be brontosaurus for us kids from the 70's) was huge! The quality of some of their fossils was amazing! And we loved the rock cave with all the rocks that glowed under the black light!
Cynthia L — Google review
I chanced upon this Museum accidentally and boy was I am amazed at what we found. the University of Wyoming does an excellent job of presenting their archaeological finds as well as history of the area around Wyoming. We were very lucky to meet one of the paleontologists who works in the field around Wyoming and was recently involved with discovering fossils during a pipeline dig. We learned so much in such a short time. The museum is a smaller museum with two levels that you will at least spend an hour and a half to two hours walking around looking at and reading all the information. There fossil skeleton collection and displays Rivals some larger museums. People of all ages will appreciate a visit here. It is a free museum and offers sitting areas with story books and video presentations as well as the normal Museum amenities. If you find yourself even near this area plan a visit.

The menu offers a variety of meatless comfort food options, including hummus sandwiches and other casual fare. The restaurant also features organic beers and a wonderful tavern for those looking for vegan or vegetarian options.
Totally chill place to eat, food was awesome, server was Great and the menu had LOTS of Vegan and GF options! I'm Definitively coming back to try more of the menu and bringing some friends with me too! I also Loved the passing Trains 🚂 and the tracks etc, just outside the window!

Very cute place and great food. The atmosphere was a little too loud for my liking and we had to wait 30 mins for the seat but thats not their fault that they’re so popular. Will definitely visit again! The artichoke dip was delicious ♥️
Hira S — Google review
It's been a long day. Drove up from Castle Rock, CO - Drove around town, decided I needed a good meal. Stopped by Sweet Melissa, ordered the Grilled Cheese on sourdough with a cup of Potato Garlic soup and Lemonade no ice. The Potato Garlic soup was delicious, perfect balance of ingredients. The Lemonade tasted fresh, I asked if they make it in-house and they said they do. The Grilled Cheese was awesome, the cheese has some stretch to it, asked for some ketchup because I like to dip mine, 😋. Garnished with three pickles, ate one, it was good. Very affordable meal, roughly under $16, paid $20, left the rest as tip. Great experience, they use paper straws but they are the good kind that don't detoriate after 4 seconds. No issues, service was perfect, ambiance was great. It's connected with the tavern next door, wide range of alcohol options if that's your jam. Will go back in the future.

Ryan my server was SO SWEET and helpful and patient. The notes I made for my Google saved places: LITERALLY INCREDIBLE and DELICIOUS. Caesar salad is incredible. Dolmas are absolutely delicious. Black bean goat cheese burger is fine/good but should try something else next time! The raspberry chipotle ravioli maybe. Darjeeling express drink was delicious as well. Burrito is apparently big and delicious too
Sharon O — Google review
Delicious. Lots of variety. Try the cauliflower salad melt on rye. Very unique and tasty. Huge portions.
Mark A — Google review
Good food good ambiance. Great place for vegan and vegetarian options! The menu is clearly marked. We really enjoyed everything at our visit to Sweet Melissa. We ate several vegan appetizers that were all good (crabless cake, kimchi pancake, vegan queso and chips). For entrees we had the gyros, one vegan, one vegetarian, which were very tasty! We enjoyed the side of vegan 3-bean chili too! We sat at the tavern side of the restaurant and the vibe was like an old fashion pub. Very pleasant. There is a full bar with many drink options. The only disappointment for us was the limit of stout options (only Guinness on tap, no porters). Overall highly recommended.
Raquelli G — Google review
I recommend to everyone, vegetarian or not! It smelt amazing, it was quiet, the staff was accommodating, and especially, the food was SO good!! I am usually very grossed out by meat and it's very hard to find meatless options at most places, and this place was quite freeing! Delicious meatless food that isn't just the usual. I would go here all the time if I lived in Laramie. Great experience all around :^)

Altitude Chophouse & Brewery, established in 1999 by Greg Smith and Karen Robillard, offers a cozy and relaxed dining experience with a Rocky Mountain ambiance. The restaurant is known for its handcrafted ales and inventive twists on American classics such as steaks, burgers, and pizza. The decor is mountain-themed with a beautiful bar, creating a welcoming atmosphere for locals and visitors alike.
Four people went for lunch. We had the pork nachos, Caesar salad, hamburger and the Cobb salad. The meals come quick and portions large and prices reasonable. All the dishes tasted great. The service was great just a little slow. Once we got our meals we only got checked on once and that was right after we started eating. Most of us ran out of water and had to flag down a person for the check. Despite this we’d definitely go back.

We were just passing through Laramie and stopped in for dinner. The restaurant has a good atmosphere but it took a couple minutes for a server to finally come seat us as there was no one at the hostess stand. Once we were seated our server was super inattentive. She was super nice and friendly but would disappear for long stints and never refilled our waters. The food was super flavorful but awkwardly portioned. It almost felt like the potatoes in one meal was an afterthought and they didn’t have enough. Over priced for what you get.
Joshua D — Google review
The food was delicious. I really liked how this place looked, it was very inviting. But I did order soup salad and a steak and specifically asked for the soup and salad to come out first and it all came out together. There was no check back by any server, and the manager even came and handed me a menu later on because he didn't even know that I ate. I'll give this place another try and hopefully they'll get a better review.

One of my all time favorite restaurants. I was very surprised at how good the food was. I had the pork chops and my wife had the cedar plank salmon. We also had a desert that was flaky with a cream filling and chocolate dobs on top. I ordered a flight of beer and got six for ten dollars. A lot of beer for that price. The atmosphere was perfect and the conversation in the restaurant was not loud at all. We went at dinner time and it was not too busy. Kaaden was our server and he was excelleis. Answered all of our questions and was a delight to talk to. Another member of the team came over and ask us how we were doing. Very impressive and I highly recommend this place as you get your monies worth. The flavor of everything was astounding.

Loved the staff, especially the bartender Liam and server Macy. Great place to be during my travels through the west of the U.S.! Steakhouse sandwich was phenomenal, and beer (though selections were low at the time) was very good.

We had an excellent time here. Food was great. Try the prime rib French dip. Everything was cooked perfectly and service was excellent. John our server was attentive and helped with recommendations for places to stay and eat along our trip! Must stop place in Laramie!
Adam S — Google review
Our server, Hayden, was friendly and professional, taking our order and inquiring about the details appropriately. The food was mediocre and much more expensive than the quality would call for. Medium-Rare New York Strip came out oxidized, cooked well-done, dry, and cold. Garlic smashed potatoes were cold and flavorless. The chocolate cake was good! It was busy - we tipped well because we didn't feel any of this was caused by the server.
S. M — Google review
We got 2 steak cobb salads to go. They were delicious but not much salad on either of them. It was more like a side salad with toppings. A bit disappointing realizing there wasn't much volume after we already left. $16 for this salad/each 🙁 We are driving across the state and was hoping to make it to idaho without stopping again for food. We would go back again but next time we will check the containers and/or ask for more salad. Gluten-free options!

Born In A Barn is a rustic sports bar in Laramie known for its creative burgers, wings, and patio. The homestyle brewpub uses quality local ingredients to create flavorful dishes that have gained recognition, even being featured on Season 35, Episode 5 of a popular show. Visitors praise the unique flavors of the wings and the diverse drink selection. Despite its popularity, it maintains a cozy local hangout vibe and is conveniently located near downtown shopping opportunities.
I initially chose Born in a Barn because I saw some comfortable seats in review pictures, hardwood chairs in this instance. However once walking into the establishment I was surrounded by those dime a dozen metal chairs that every other business in this country is now using. I sat down at a table, ordered the Chicago-ish Dog and Fries. It was good, too big to comfortably eat like a normal human being, good value though. The peppers on the side was the right call, just too much stuff and too much kick for that meal. The fries were thin but good tasting. The atmosphere is hit and miss, bit loud, floor feels uneven in spots, small, little too tight for my comfort level. Service was perfect, overall a great experience. Metal chairs hurt after awhile though. Meal with just water was $15 flat which includes tip.

Crowbar & Grill is a relaxed spot known for its creative burgers, pizzas, craft brews, and cocktails. The restaurant offers a positively sumptuous Puerto Rican dish called pernil, which is slow-roasted pork marinated in garlic, citrus, and herbs. In Wyoming, where ranching reigns supreme, the restaurant stands out for its exceptional burgers. Customers praise the delicious St. Patrick's Day green pizza and flavorful hamburgers with unique toppings like Italian sausage and Gouda cheese.
Hannah was our waitress today. We were seated and she gave us silverware, water and drink and food menu. She was the only one working the bar and restaurant area. It wasn't to busy but she was still handling her tables and bar. She came up to and apologized for the wait. Which was good customer service. Pizza has been the best pizza that we've had. Also the service is always on point. Thank you guys for the service and amazing pizza Everytime!!!!
John R — Google review
We have always loved eating at the Crowbar. Tonight was the exception. Probably the worst food we’ve had from them! The Sledgehammer pizza was really doughy and the eggs were off to the side of the pizza instead of them being in the middle where they are usually placed PLUS they were not cooked through all the way! The Crow Burger is no longer a decent size hamburger. It’s thin and small, fitting in the palm of your hand. The truffle fries came uncooked…literally. Disappointing that they increased the price to $19 and you get a smaller burger patty?? Service was very slow and people who came in 15 minutes after us received their food before us. The waitress never checked back to see if we needed drinks. Overall we were really disappointed with everything.
Jonie M — Google review
We stopped in here for dinner while we were passing through the area. We got seated right away and started with their buffalo chicken fries and some nitro beer. The fries were huge and definitely worth getting! Huge chunks of chicken smothered in buffalo sauce 😋 👌 We also got a large pizza and it was pretty good! It's definitely more of a bar atmosphere, but it was fine for a family too. Definitely would revisit if I was in the area!

Atmosphere was great! The service was iffy. The lady that served us seemed like she didn’t know what she was talking about and didn’t clarify information for us. We ordered 3 burgers and it took 35 minutes , which we thought was a little long especially for 5 tables of people in here. The fries were cold.. HOWEVER, my burger was delicious. It was not well done, but I actually liked it!! We got 3 burgers, 2 sprites, 4 glasses of wine for $80. ( Not including tip )
Kylie C — Google review
Im from out of town...most of the food places when you google have high ratings and this is one of them. Nikole was my server and she was excellent! I ordered the standard 1/2 poutine first and its deceptive on size. When it came out I thought it was a small portion until I dug in...there was depth to the cool cast iron it was served in. I've had alotta poutine...have to be wary because can tend to be salty with the cheese and gravy combo but this was not! As you can see in Pic it comes out hot and has good cheese pull. Everything came together well in a good bite. I got the Raven burger (bacon, gouda, sautéed onions and a mustard sauce) I subbed the mustard for French onion sauce...and im glad I did...the spread in the pic was the French onion...I wasnt sure what to expect but it didnt punch you with onion flavor it added a nice creaminess. Now other places need to take note: grill the inside of the bun! I could of just ordered a dozen buns to go with that crisp....the beef was high quality and had a nice sear...and you'd think with all those toppings...it would of been a flavor explosion...the beef just needed some salt on both sides with that sear and the meat would of been the star! The onion rings were perfect! And those 3 pickles i would of bought a jar of them. I would go back to try the bulgogi fries

It's been awhile, the Crowbar in Laramie was just what I needed. The waitress was quick with our orders. I had the Raven hamburger gouda, caramelized onions, bacon and creamy mustard. Along with parmesan tuffle fries with a tasty tuffle aioli dip. My addiction to ketchup ended tonight. I'm a big guy and that was just right. I washed all down with a couple cherry ciders. The atmosphere was wonderful. I hope to stop back by to try a pizza by as I'm on a whirlwind tour of the great state of Wyoming.

A variety of menu items, and I choose that banana slice, bacon, peanut butter and a cheese burger thing with all the toppings. And I got an overflow portion of fries to complete that dish. I had a good draft beer to wash it down. Fun place!

This place is a must stop! The food was good, the beers were good, and the service was top notch! We ordered parmesean truffle fries and a swiss army gluten free pizza. The GF crust was cooked to perfection and there was just the right amount of sauce with an ample amount of toppings. Our bar tender Tim was very attentive and fun to talk to. They have cider and hard yerbamate tea on tap! We will definitely be stopping back by anytime we're in town!

Thai restaurant
Anong's Thai Cuisine is a restaurant chain founded by Anong, a Thai woman who moved to the United States in 1990. The success of her first restaurant in Rawlins led to the opening of branches in Laramie (2007) and Cheyenne (2013). Despite being located in Wyoming, this eatery offers authentic Thai cuisine with familiar dishes like crab rangoon, pad Thai, and Thai fried rice.
Called in an order to go on Saturday night. My food was ready when I arrived and the staff was welcoming and friendly. They were busy when I walked in, but the dining room looks nice and I'll try to sit down next time. The curry was great! Good flavor and they didn't skimp on the ingredients. The potatoes were cooked to the proper softness, and the spice level was just right.

Drop in anytime for a very serviceable buffet lunch. There are lots of tasty options, but arriving early might guarantee that the options are at their freshest. There’s a full menu, too. The chicken satay was tasty and well cooked. The summer rolls have very nice flavor but the huge piece of tofu is a little difficult to eat. The small dish of hot and sour soup that came with my lunch was absolutely delicious! The dining room is comfortable and the service is very friendly.

Great atmosphere, lovely time spent here for lunch. Staff were very pleasant and greeted us as we came in the door. Will come again another time. Place was clean and organized, couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Really solid Thai food, large portions, good prices. I’ve been here a couple of times whenever I’m in Laramie and I always look forward to eating here. I’ve had the green curry and the noodle curry in the past as well and they’re both delicious. The glass noodles this time were fantastic too, properly spicy as well. Worth mentioning that there’s a lunch buffet available too for about $15, but the section is small and the refills at the buffet seemed on the slow side. I’d recommend going earlier if you want the buffet.

Amazing food. Masaman curry with any meat is a great 1st try. I'd come again. I would like to try their lunch buffet next.

Really great Thai restaurant in downtown Laramie. Very friendly people, great food and unique atmosphere. We all got a small bowl of soup upon arrival which was a nice touch. The food was excellent especially the Panang Curry and the Pad Thai. Highly recommend!

We were just passing thru after hiking all day it was so good to find this place. Our wait was less than 10 mins, our server Pikky was very attentive and the food was on point. Portions were sufficient, the taste on all our dishes were outstanding and spicy level wow perfect. Overall definitely a great food stop.

5☆+on both dishes: basil chicken and sesame chicken. The flavor of the basil chicken was sweet, basily, tad spicy and the vegetables were so fresh. The crispy sesame chicken was perfect. Can't wait to come back. Very kind service too. My son and I loved it!
