An excellent slice of history has been preserved and renovated to showcase its authenticity. Being presented a "prisoner" at admission added an element of curiosity to the process. The museum has a lot of great information and throughout our 3000 mile trip, we kept learning more about Butch Cassidy but this was the most information in one place (we decided he was an intelligent & charismatic man who was never going to settle down - much to his parents' despair). The broom factory was excellent as the guide provided a great deal of information in addition to a brief demonstration for our questions. Really enjoyed the whole thing and it left a remarkable impression of Wyoming.
Very interesting people have stayed here. The renovations are amazing. They still make brooms. We spent about two hours but had to leave as they were closing.
Very interesting history. Even better if you enjoy visiting prisons of the past n how they were run. The first with a women's wing (2 cells only, n they never left it). It could appear that the guards were also "prisoners" while working. Butch Cassidy has his own exhibit inside. There's a broom making Factory out back, that still handmakes n sells the brooms. When the prison closed it was turned into a farm. It bk is a tropics town. Definately worth visiting. A thorough visit can take 3-4 hrs.
Stayed overnight waiting to see it. We didn't think it was worth it. The "tour guide" said, let me know if you have any questions. The lady working in the broom making didn't even acknowledge us. It was just ok. Cool to say we went. But not sure I would have stayed overnight to see it.
Hubby & I visited this place and took the guided tour. Our guide was very good and told stories of several inmates that were incarcerated there. One of the most famous was Butch Cassidy. Recommend visiting if in the Laramie area.
Explored the Wyoming Territorial Prison, once home to the famous outlaw Butch Cassidy. From the old cells to the barns, wagons, and mill work, it was fascinating to see how prisoners lived—creating brooms, building furniture, and caring for animals. A true step back into the Wild West
Really good historical site. The guide was well versed on everything there. Would highly recommend.
Really found this to be a neat place to experience and it was interesting to learn about that time period and about some of the male and female prisoners that were held there.

Clean pit toilets Great place to walk and climb We saw a bull moose and 2 calves this morning.
A little too crowded but understandable, it's a cool place. I didn't get to climb. I did enjoy the hiking and views.
If you like nature, this is the place to be. Lots of trails, n climbing rocks for the adventurous. Camping available in a developed campground with water, trash n ejection (i think). Then there's a free dispersed area right past that, with no amenities. Good cell service. Sun n shade both. The views are spectacular all around!
This a a great place about 20 miles outside of Laramie to get outdoors and enjoy some wonderful Wyoming scenery and climate. It is a great area for a picnic, a car tour, a day hike, rock climb or some overnight camping. In the weekends it can get a bit crowded but on the weekdays it is an absolute paradise While you are in the Veedauwoo area, it is worth a brief drive across the highway to visit the Ales Monument
This was a very unique trip and I’m so glad I went. I’ll make this review simple with pros and cons. Pros: Very unique, there’s not really a sense of direction so you can go climb anywhere (at your own risk), very cheap / free depending on if you’re camping or just hiking / camping; they had restrooms that were easily found, and lastly the views and overall area was just so nice and well kept. Great place for those who want to throw an event, camp, or even just climb! Cons: Figuring out where to go or park was very confusing, the place is very popular so camping spots are kind of hard to get, the one section is all dirt road and not meant for sedans or low to the ground cars, there wasn’t really any markers or trails so getting lost is quite common, lastly it genuinely is dangerous so please be careful when climbing (I myself fell but I’m okay) Overall: 3.95/5.00, would recommend!
Great place for a hike! Beautiful!!
Sweet place! If you want the full experience, don't be afraid to scale some rocks and take some chances!
Greta place for camping and hiking. I've been coming here for a very long time and I really enjoy it, it's just a great place to go to get out whether it's for a day trip or for a few days. I would definitely recommend coming up here, the wildlife up here is also just as beautiful as I've seen deer elk moose Etc :)

Visited Coe Library to search for old photos from when I attended in the 80s. Staff was friendly and helpful. Even helped me navigate microfische!
Really nice campus, but out of state tuition is crazy. Why would anyone pay an extra 15k to get same degree as home state.
Beautiful campus. Not much parking. Somehow there is always construction. Football season is fun.
Worst parking known to man. As a student you will basically never get a spot and don’t even worry about paying for a parking pass because it is so expensive and you will not be guaranteed a spot. Otherwise a great school but the parking situation has been a problem for years and has not been addressed whatsoever. It is only getting worse with the new dorms in place.
VETERANS BEWARE!! THIS SCHOOL DOES NOT CARE IF YOUVE SERVED AND WILL NOT HELP YOU! I am a veteran and decided to use my GI Bill during the COVID lock down to pursue an education in engineering at UW. I spoke with multiple faculty members before classes started letting them know that this was my first stint at an actual university. I was excited but also ignorant and I made sure to let them know so I didn't let anything slip through the cracks. I'd lived in Wyoming for the past 3+ years as a govt contractor and had proof through taxes and lease agreements. They charged me as a non-resident and never informed me. I worked extremely hard and passed all of my classes! Over the years I've jumped through hopes with the VA and their billing department to no avail. Nobody will help me and now I'm almost $7000 in debt for schooling (and thats for only 1 semester!!!) I had already paid for with my time in service and my own money while in the service. This school could care less about it's veterans or the free money they get for us choosing their school. I'd give 0 stars if I could.
Always a gorgeous campus. The flag at Cowboy Field needs fixed.
My alma mater, and I have a lot of love for UW. I have competed my bachelor's and master's from UW, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Laramie is a great town to go to school in that it small enough to feel like a community, has great food and provides other opportunities that create a memorable experience. The campus here is beautiful as well, and during my masters I occasionally served as a guide during our seminar meetings (online masters) to people that had never been to Laramie, and they were always impressed with the campus. I could go on and on about UW and Laramie, but just know I love UW, it's faculty, facilities, opportunities, and the memories you make! Consider it if you are looking to enroll! Ask me questions if you would like to hear from an Alumni!
I strongly discourage anyone from attending this school. The service that you get when enrolling leaves a great deal to be desired. This could be because they have a monopoly in WY. After expressly stating the classes I needed to take my Advisor planned a path with none of the classes I needed. Their reason was most people just want to graduate. The advisor and financial aid office was aware I was still finishing my Associates before the term started. Then the financial aid office refused to release my financial aid till I gave them proof of my Associates. I requested to have all of my classes dropped and be removed from school because it was turning into a circus and the registrars office said they did that. I found out weeks later that not only had they not withdrawn me from the classes but they instead decided to finally process the financial aid 3 months too late. If you want drama, a circus, confusion, terrible service, or financial issues this is the school for you. If you don't then go else where.

LOVE this museum. We used to come at least once a week when we lived in Laramie over 16 years ago and we were so excited to see all the improvements and changes that have been made since then. While visiting here, hop over to the Insect Museum a few buildings down and check it out too.
Free museum popular with kids and families. Something to do while on campus.
Small museum but very good. Less than 45 min to see. Biggest problem is finding parking. Most places on campus are taken and city parking requires permit.
Really cool , it’s small but don’t judge it by its appearance it has so many cool things and it’s free . It’s on campus which is convenient and it’s very clean . Kiddos really welcome
Small, but worthwhile museum in the Geology building. Good for both adults and kids. And it’s free! We parked on the street just bordering campus and it was a pleasant walk there.
From the moment we entered, we were greeted, welcomed and treated like the only visitors, even while it remained busy! Our time was filled with knowledge and experiences we won't forget- especially our exclusive permission to get so close to Big Al!! Special thanks to Dr. Viletti and Steve for making our day so special!
Such a neat little museum for being free! The Apatosaurus (use to be brontosaurus for us kids from the 70's) was huge! The quality of some of their fossils was amazing! And we loved the rock cave with all the rocks that glowed under the black light!
I chanced upon this Museum accidentally and boy was I am amazed at what we found. the University of Wyoming does an excellent job of presenting their archaeological finds as well as history of the area around Wyoming. We were very lucky to meet one of the paleontologists who works in the field around Wyoming and was recently involved with discovering fossils during a pipeline dig. We learned so much in such a short time. The museum is a smaller museum with two levels that you will at least spend an hour and a half to two hours walking around looking at and reading all the information. There fossil skeleton collection and displays Rivals some larger museums. People of all ages will appreciate a visit here. It is a free museum and offers sitting areas with story books and video presentations as well as the normal Museum amenities. If you find yourself even near this area plan a visit.

we read about their $2 “Halloween” self guided tour and we are so glad we came to check it out! it was delightful getting to walk around this amazing house! we spent almost an hour and a half looking through each room. the sweet student, Bridget, answered our questions and gave us lots of great information. i believe they normally just do guided tours, but this was a special treat! if you’ve ever been to the Biltmore Estate in NC, this is significantly smaller, but of similar interest!
Today’s visit to the Laramie Plains Museum, also known as the Ivinson Mansion, was hands-down a most memorable and delightful experience! This beautifully preserved Victorian home is a true treasure, full of rich history and absolutely gorgeous period furnishings. Every room is like a perfectly curated time capsule—warm, elegant, and brimming with character. But what made the tour truly exceptional was our phenomenal guide, Bailey. Although still considered a “junior docent” Bailey was beyond impressive—confident, knowledgeable, and incredibly well-spoken. She guided us through the mansion with ease and enthusiasm, a great sense of humor, sharing historical insights, fascinating stories, and small details that brought the home and its former inhabitants vividly to life. Her passion for history was awesome! From the intricate woodwork and ornate décor to the personal artifacts and clothing displays, every part of the Ivinson Mansion felt alive with stories of the past. It’s clear that the museum is lovingly cared for by people who truly value its legacy—and Bailey is a shining example of that dedication. Whether you’re a history buff or simply curious, this museum is an absolute must-see. We left feeling inspired, informed, and truly grateful for the experience. Thank you, Bailey, for an unforgettable tour! You are a star in the making. Do yourself a favor—visit the Laramie Plains Museum. You won’t regret it.
The Laramie Plains Museum is such a charming and historic location to photograph! The architecture and vintage details throughout the building make it a beautiful setting for portraits or wedding photos. Every room has its own character, and the surrounding grounds add a timeless, classic touch. The staff was kind and accommodating, making the experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. A perfect spot for anyone who loves a mix of history and elegance in their photos!
This was an amazing place to visit and learn. I homeschool my boys, and we are driving home from Alabama to Nevada . We are visiting historic areas, and this is a must-see. What an eye opener and just wholesome history. We had a great time. The staff was amazing, very informative, and answered all our questions. If you ever find yourself here, take an hr to tour this bit of history. 😁
I am going to be honest, I am conflicted on this one. The Iverson house was incredible. It is so well-preserved that it genuinely looks like they lived there yesterday. Not a spec of dust or signs of damage. Even the props/artifacts were in pristine condition for being well over 100 years old. However, most of my complaints will fall on the tour guide. He was definitely on the shy side, and that's fine not everyone can be an exceptional public speaker. But this shyness also bled into his inability to recall sufficient information for a guided tour that you have to pay money for. The tour also really fell off the rails at the end there, and really just became a "go do what you want" thing. I don't want to nitpick on this detail too much, but a tour guide wearing gym shorts does not strike me as being very professional at all, and can come across as immersion-breaking. I'm not expecting business formal in a suit and tie, especially in the Summer heat, but I do think that some jeans, cargo shorts, or something would be a touch more appropriate. Overall the house was excellent, but the tour does need some deep improvement.
I've been here twice now. Excellent both times! Docents each time were quite different from each other, but both very knowledgeable and able to give many fascinating details on the background of pieces in the house. I would definitely go back a third time!
We took a self-guided walking tour of Downtown Laramie and came across the Plains Museum in the Invinson Mansion. For a small fee we toured the three-storied historical home of one of the wealthiest families of Laramie in it's early years. Our guide led us through the home, telling the story of the home's family, servants and events. If you want to immerse yourself in the rich history of Laramie during the Territorial days to Wyoming's early Statehood, I would highly recommend this museum.
Fantastic but of history knowledgeable docents and staff. Great old home and history

We stopped by the Lincoln Monument on our road trip through Wyoming, and I’m really glad we did. It’s not your typical tourist spot—just a massive bronze head of Abraham Lincoln staring out over the highway—but there’s something really cool and kind of surreal about it. The statue itself is huge (like, really huge), and it’s set up at one of the highest points on I‑80. The view is wide open and beautiful, and the whole vibe is very “classic Americana roadside attraction.” It’s right off the freeway, so super easy to access if you’re passing through. There’s a rest area with bathrooms and plenty of parking, so it makes for a perfect stop to stretch your legs, snap a few pics, and learn a tiny bit of history. Would I go out of my way for it? Probably not. But if you’re driving between Cheyenne and Laramie, it’s totally worth the few minutes. It’s one of those unexpected little highlights that makes a long drive more interesting.
The monument is enormous. Great view, great recreation area to picnic or even campaign. The location is just beautiful. I recommend anybody traveling down the eighty to stop and take in some of america's history n mother, earth's beauty
Nice rest stop, with good bathrooms. Lots of history displays and some beautiful views. A large bust of Abraham Lincoln that was moved from the old Lincoln highway when I 80 was completed
Very nice tribute, the area was a little beat up when we were there. They have some picnic areas.
Lovely monument, visitor area inside building provided some good local provided information. Well kept area and washroom facilities.
Restrooms were not well-maintained at the time my husband and I stopped. Older facility. Grass outside needed to be mowed. Maybe we just visited at an off time.
Clean, plenty of spaces for RVs as well, beautiful views and nice addition to get the Lincoln statue
An informative rest stop. It's worth reading the walls to get history on the Lincoln Highway and the monument. Highest point on US Rt 80 as well!

This was our fourth summer bringing our granddaughters up for a tour for their birthdays. We love Rich and learning all about the horses and look forward to seeing him each summer! He never fails to give the best tour of the Deerwood Ranch. The other highlight is stopping into Centennial afterwards for a scoop of Janna's delicious homemade ice cream at the gift shop!
My wife and I were visiting from Memphis and did the guided tour. Mr. Rich showed us his ranch while giving us the history of his land and where the horses were from. He really knew his stuff and kept us entertained the entire tour. Couldn’t have asked for a more in depth look into the wild mustangs of Wyoming. We will definitely be back.
I had a wonderful time on their 2-hour guided tour of the mustangs. You must make a reservation to go into the ranch. You cannot just show up. They had a large truck with a deck on the back with seating for 10 people. We drove out to the heard and stopped several times within the hear. We were told about the program, the different horses. A wonderful experience.
Got married at their venue barn last July. Wouldn't have traded that experience for the world. Everything from the backdrop views, the diligence of the owners, the aesthetics of the ranch, and the genuine "away from it all" feel really sold this place as the perfect venue
This was phenomenal. The owner and tour guide was incredibly informative and friendly. The horses are safe and healthy and kept with minimal intervention, which allows them to be their free and wild selves. Highly recommend!
We learned so much visiting this sanctuary! Wild horse management is super interesting! Tours in and around the horses and the proceeds go to the care of the horses and sanctuary. We saw some wild burros, too. Who knew?
Rich & Jana set up a tour just for us in early October 2018 as we were in Laramie visiting just after the season had "closed". We spent quite a while out with the horses...and it was just a perfect experience. So beautiful out there...words don't do it justice. Can't wait to go back for another visit.
This place was pretty awesome. Seeing all the wild horses in a setting that let them be wild was very cool. I recommend it.

According to the brochure: “In 1993, the AHC and the UW Art Museum moved into the award-winning Centennial Complex designed by acclaimed architect Antoine Predock.” I find the architecture of the building interesting but I am not fond of how one moves through it. The spaces are awkward and seem jammed at places yet too open at others.
Very fun art museum! Loved the alumni artwork and they had a Picasso when I visited. Connor at the front desk was very welcoming and informative, will definitely revisit!
A great university art museum with many rotating exhibits. And it's free with very easy parking. Be sure to visit the galleries of the attached American Heritage center which have many unique historical Western paintings.
I m here for matthew shepard'😭😭😭😭 On October 7, 1998, Matthew Shepard, a 21-year-old student at the University of Wyoming, was brutally attacked and tied to a fence in a field outside of Laramie, Wyoming and left to die. On October 12, Matt succumbed to his wounds in a hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado.
it’s free, which is great! and the ladies at the front desk were very nice. but it is very small. half of their current selection just didn’t speak to me (although there were a handful that were lovely), so we only spent 15-20 mins walking around. the stan lee exhibit on the other side had some videos/seating, so we stayed in there a bit longer! but i think that exhibit ends Nov 1. (you can park in certain spots in the lot for free, just go in and get a day pass to put in your dash if you’ll be there more than 2 hours).
This is my second visit to this sensational university art museum. There are many treasures in the collection—like this selection (the red woodblock print by Faith McManus is exquisite). My favorite part is the exceptional work by student artists.
A nice art museum. The collection is rich comparing it's in Laramie. Anytime you go there, you will see some exhibition on the wall from some great artists. The museum is nicely organized, accessible to everyone. Your time there will be memorable.
I’ve read some mixed reviews about this museum: “It’s small and not worth going to,” or “The artwork is beautiful, a must-see!” In my opinion, art is a matter of opinion. For me, it may be small, but it’s something! I come from a region where art is mostly disregarded, cast aside, so museums like this and the Nicolaysen in Casper are a refreshing change from home. The art featured have purposes: visit this beautiful museum to see for yourself! (To the staff, thank you for providing such an environment!)

This is a wonderful place. Lots of great history. I had my wedding there today and it was a hit. So grateful for their staff. Was above and beyond my expectations!
Great place to go and learn about trains. Fun for all ages! The gentleman at the front was so sweet and made sure we know we could ask him about anything if we wanted! Definitely worth going and taking a look
As a Laramie native I was so excited to visit the train depot museum with my family. I have great memories of attending events and parties here while I was growing up and attending college in Laramie. A lot of work has been done to create a welcoming space and educate visitors about this historic building. We signed in and enjoyed the exhibits and model train displays. Unfortunately we had a very negative experience with the volunteer who was staffing the museum during our visit. While we were visiting, she was drinking a beer behind the counter and made some odd comments. After we had returned from a quick walk around the depot park and farmers market we returned to the parking lot to find out car had been keyed. The volunteer was standing outside in front of our car with an odd expression on her face. When we asked if she had seen anything, she said no, and that she was sure the marks would buff out, while smiling strangely. All in all, just a series of strange interactions that made us uncomfortable. Please be sure to screen your volunteers.
An incredible venue run by great people! The Historic Laramie Railroad Depot is a treasure. I've had the pleasure of attending and hosting multiple events here over the past few years and the team is a delight to work with. The team is easy-going, and the venue is affordable, beautiful, and nestled in a wonderful park full of Laramie and railroad history. The board clearly puts a lot of thought, time, and effort into maintaining the space and keeping it beautiful and accessible to the public. My understanding is that it is completely volunteer run, and a true labor of love for all involved! I had the good fortune to work with the 2025 board to restore the caboose in the park and they did such a wonderful job on the project, along with all of the teams that completed the work. These folks really care about preserving history for future generations and providing a community gathering space for all kinds of events and groups! Thank you to the folks who work so hard to keep Laramie wonderful!
A historic train station in downtown Laramie that is repurposed as a railroad museum. I am not a train enthusiast, but I had a great time. First greeted by gorgeous blossom followed by a gentleman in the museum, my first railroad museum began with learning the role of railroad played in shaping America's economy and history during Lincon's presidency. What precise calculations it took to build rail tracks from the west and east separately until they merged. In addition to railroad equipment and model trains, the historic structure itself is equally impressive.
The gentleman in the museum was full of information and very polite.!
Charles was really knowledgeable and made our visit memorable. He is a wonderful guide if you call ahead he will give a short personalized tour. The depot is beautiful and grounds are well kept.
If you are an avid train enthusiast then look no further! The Laramie Railroad Depot has to of great history! There are lots of artifacts from the early days of the Union Pacific Railroad and the Laramie Hahn's Peak and Pacific Railroad. The museum is a great place to rent out for events and parties. I see something new every I stop in. Check it out!

I visited recently and saw the Stan Lee exhibit and it was really nicely done. It’s a small exhibit and free. They had some cool give aways too. My favorite part was how he would write the story line for a movie on small cards. When I went the museum was closed so there weren’t a lot of people. The museum is separate from the exhibit.
Such a neat place. Always well done exhibits. History, art, WY culture etc. Great place solo or for groups who love to learn and explore. Always interested in what they'll exhibit next. Keep kicking butt UW students/staff.
I spent time on the 4th floor in the document collection. Great service, easy access, easy directions to follow. It appeared that there was a lot the center had to offer that I didn't have time to see. Highly recommend. It is road accessible on UW-Laramie campus with a dedicated parking lot, located behind the stadium. Researchers can get free parking passes inside after 10 am. It opens at 9, so I just paid for parking. There is an app you can pay the $8s for a 9 am - 5 pm parking pass. There is no other office or campus building that amyone needs to visit to pay for parking or access the center.
I called today, and I spoke with an amazing woman on the phone. I was calling about some records from the 1800s I needed for a project. While they did have a long wait line and I wasn't able to get my hands on them, she still assisted me by telling me what she knew and other places I could look. I didn't get her name, but she was so nice, and I am so thankful for her help.
I called and emailed them to ask for information about an obscure fact about an old film. They found exactly what I needed and emailed it to me, way more quickly than anticipated. To be frank, they didn't even have to do it at all. I am in NYC and can't get to Wyoming at the moment, so I appreciated that they dug through files for me. Also they were super nice. I was just so happy when I get the email from them with the info I needed. THANKS SO MUCH to them. Hope to get to meet them in person one day.
This is a great place to take your kids to learn about Wyoming history. It has an extensive library of documents from many periods of Wyoming. The documents I looked over were about the internment camps during WWII. There is also an extensive collection of Stan Lee's work. Original Comic books and art. This is the place to come if you're a marvel fan.
Nice heritage center. Hope it continues to acquire Western artifacts and documents. A must see for Wyoming teens - understand your history before launching into the world. Verify hours, special events change the schedule.
I know i'm old but didn't realize just *how* old 'til i toured this place. I'm so ancient i vividly recall the passion in my teacher's voice as she recounted the Teapot Dome scandal. Of course that was in the '20s; never mind!

We visit The Blake family in Wyoming a couple times a year. Every time we do we also visit this thrift store we always find essential clothing items for greenhorns (from Texas) to help us survive the environment! Good people doing good work here! Love this store! (I’m writing this review because my wife is trying on 5 outfits!)
My roommate said he had gotten pretty much his entire wardrobe from here. And so, a few days ago I was told the theme of a ball the day of and decided to give it w try. Went to go find a tie that matched. Had a great selection of everything I could’ve wanted. Definitely need to stop by again.
This is the best 2nd hand store I've ever been to! It's HUGE! and they have a bargain basement with cheap stuff 50% off!! Really cool stuff in this place! Good finds, was not disappointed!
I love the staff. They are very friendly and helpful. Prices are wonderful, I mean really good deals. I probably spent $250 in there but I probably saved at least 1000 and stuff that I would normally buy anyway beautiful coats jackets, comfortable pants, expensive shoes that are like brand new And you pay like between eight and $20 for a pair of shoes if you bought at the shoe store would cost you 85 and no one knows The difference,, love this place and I want to start consigning there also eventually when I get my stuff out of storage from Indiana I will put it on consignment there, way better than any Goodwill I understand goodwill does a lot for the community, but this store gives a lot to the community by helping people like me to buy things that I normally could not afford . This place helps you buy like the rich without being rich. I will probably always go there for my clothing And I like that they have a rewards program and you can get $10 off if you spend $200 which actually is a really good deal I mean if you go to Walmart and spend $200 they don’t give you coupons there’s no rewards no loyalty but here you feel loyalty , Kindness and understanding
I love nu2u! I love most everything about it! It’s clean and well-kept and I almost always find something cute or that I need. I also love a place to consign my own unused items. So this review isn’t about the place as a whole…. My complaint is the customer service at the consignment counter. I’ve had multiple bad experiences, especially this year. The last two times I’ve gone in (including today around 1:15) it’s been the same gal and she is fairly rude. I do take blame for not having read the multiple signs saying they weren’t consigning for a few days, but she still doesn’t need to treat people shortly and without a care. She acts annoyed that you’re even there, and isn’t kind. I don’t plan on not consigning in the future just because of her, but it would be a more pleasant experience if she would just be nice or someone else was there!
Honestly, this place is ok. It’s mostly full of over priced thrift shop goods but occasionally has decent stuff. The real negative is that they sold something that was not as described (huge hole that was patched and not described on the tag or discounted as such). I brought it back 10 minutes after getting it home and they told me tough luck because I took the tag off, yet still had it and purchased it on an account. Low class.
This is my favorite thrift/consignment store all across the country. I live on East coast &drive truck and stop in everytime i go thru wyoming. Even on vacation. Drop things off and buy other things!!!!!! Clearance room downstairs is awesome. Dropped off cowboy boots i bought for my x-bf. He may have worn em once or twice. He was not a cowboy!!!!! The vintage cowboy things bring back memories!
Amazing store. Excellent customer service and even better finds! Hands down the best store to shop at in Wyoming. Not only do they have incredible finds the prices are very low. Thanks guys Ill be back tomorrow!

Nature is always 5 stars! Such an awesome and affordable place to XC ski. The trails are groomed by a nonprofit and everything is kept very nicely.
Love the area, trails and sledding hills are great! However, the amount of people with off-leash dogs is ridiculous. Apparently, rules dont apply to them. We saw at least 15, some running up on us and I have a toddler who is scared of them. Also, plenty of dog poop on the trails. Use a leash...
This was an awesome, butt kicking trail. We did 10.5 miles, by following various trails (some on purpose, some not...so watch out. Haha). We are from Oklahoma so the elevation kicked out butt, but I feel it is a good challenge for most. Seemed to be really set up for mountain biking, if that is your thing, but did see horses and other hikers. Plenty of great views if you are willing to step off the trail and climb the rock formations at various locations.
Amazing place for cross country skiing. Snow is always great, well maintained trails, and give dollar parking fees. Bring your skis and enjoy the outdoors. I did, all winter long!!! My favorite place to come and have fun in wyoming, during cold months.
Had a fun time hiking with my daughter.... fair warning, pay attention to the markers on the trails, you can get turned around and lost easily.....a few miles away from where you parked. 😆
Terrific any time of the year. Sledding, cross country skiing, and fat biking in the winter, mountain biking and camping in the summer, and hiking anytime.
Love coming here for the Laramie Range Epic Mountain Bike Race!
A very good place to hike or ride your mountain bike. It has restroom at the entrance before the trails and plenty of parking space.
