Historical place
Spotsylvania Court House Battlefield is a well-preserved piece of Civil War history, offering several trails to walk or run while learning about the war and the pre-war houses in the area. The National Park Service manages this rewarding site, with friendly and knowledgeable staff at the visitor center. The Muleshoe Salient is a must-see spot within the battlefield.
Places like this are why our National Parks are so important. I was chilled to the bone envisioning the Union advance on the Bloody Angle and the savage, frenzied struggle for that small area of ground. Upton's charge and Sedgewicks marker were also highlights. Many thanks to the National Parks Service for their work in preserving our history so we may better understand the present.

A slice of history with plenty of information signs and walking trails with maps and a driving tour too. Very well detailed. Park was well kept, saw deer roaming the battlefields. Lots of monuments and markers to read.

Beautiful hiking area with lots of different trails/fields and history. This place is free, has great parking, and is mostly flat. Great for long or short distances.
Amber U — Google review
Blown away! I was fortunate to be the only one here at that time of day (7:00 am Sunday morning) and it was truly special. How do we not know more about this battle and the location. Truly special place and the drive in was amazing.

Very interesting battlefield to tour.....nice trails and informative signs

Hike or drive. Or mix and match. Seeing all the earthworks that still exist help with the battlefield perspective.

Informative however needs lots of improvement should make similar to Gettysburg

The best way to see this park is to hop on a bike or drive. I stopped at Stop 1, and it has a parking area, a shelter with historic signs, and a Sedgwick monument and a cannon. There are restrooms to the right and around the shelter, and it's pretty clean.

Spotsylvania Courthouse Village is a charming area with plenty of food options, including a popular food truck day where the fire department entertains visitors and gourmet popcorn samples are given out. The village also boasts various shops, a florist, and a gym. Visitors can take photos by the large LOVE sign or in the picturesque gazebo. Families can enjoy finding hidden Spotsy rocks while exploring the area.
I visited four the food truck day. Gorgeous day. The were plenty of trucks out and plenty of options. The fire department was there entertaining kids (and big kids,) and the Gourmet Popcorn truck was giving out free samples, and the cherry blossom white chocolate was amazing. The Popped Republic food truck. Had to take some home to the family.

My first apartment in Spotsylvania 2022. I absolutely enjoyed my stay and hope to move back once back on my feet. You're in the HEART of Spotsylvania with all the amenities for comfortable living. I had a walk up with the screen enclosed patio and French doors. Fresh air at night was another bonus. Check it out!
Mlori P — Google review
Recently moved here. Mary is fabulous, smooth move in, the apartment was clean and appliances are great. Pet friendly with designated dog walking areas. Walking distance to restaurants and gym. Close commute to 95.
Kate P — Google review
Nice area, cute shops. Came to this area for the fair.
Helena H — Google review
More and more parking issues, unresolved noise complaints from upstairs/downstairs neighbors, and skyrocketing rent prices. When they hit me with a 27% increase in rent I left. But the apartments are not bad, just poorly finished in some areas.
Josiah N — Google review
Some parking lot striping would go a long way.
Juan M — Google review
This is an area you need to check out. There are plenty shops for food, a new florist, gym and you can always go over and take a great photo by the Large LOVE sign. There is also a very nice large gazebo to also take some nice photos. And bring the kids because they may even find some hidden Spotsy rocks.

The visitor center was informative, had excellent exhibits. The driving tour and stops very helpful to grasp the vast area and movements of the armies.

The walk through the woods to the battlefield is 1.2 Miles. There are information stations along the way. The visitor center is a must-see museum.
Kathy L — Google review
Among other things, a great place to find some awesome mushrooms. One of the few forests in the area that leaves the deadfall trees to rot, which makes for a much more diverse forest floor. Also a great place to run if you get there early (before 8 AM). If you start at the parking lot and run all the way to the end and back it's about 2 miles. Finally, it's the place where Stonewall Jackson was shot by his own men, likely completely altering the course of the war. He was treated nearby at Elwood Manor, where his arm is buried, and died in Guinea Station, also nearby.
Evan F — Google review
Big fans of our National Parks and Chancellorsville does not disappoint. The park was clean, friendly staff, and history rich. The displays in the visitor center were exceptionally well dne too! We were extremely happy to pay homage to the sacrifices made here and learn for a better future.
Sam W — Google review
The trail takes you right through the battlefield. Its a long walk, with plenty of nature to see. Be sure to bring with you water and a snack.
Joseph M — Google review
Excellent NB site. Most history folks know this is where Stonewall Jackson was mortally wounded in a friendly fire incident. What you may not know is this also the 2nd bloodiest battle after Antietam (just the one day). Good exhibition inside of the visitor center. Didn't see the movie as I listened to the ranger talk by Lee Anne. She was a wealth of knowledge and a lovely person and had answered all of the groups questions without missing a beat. One of the Confederacy's greatest pyrrhic victory it could be argued.
McK5 — Google review
We've done such a great job as a nation preserving our past. Chancellorsville is a great example. Not only had much of the battlefield been preserved, but the NPS app with its self-guided tours, the signage on the fields and the ever-helpful NPS staff make this such a fulfilling experience.
Homey M — Google review
Site of the 1863 battle between Lee's Confederate forces and Hooker's Union forces. This is also the battle where Stonewall Jackson was accidentally shot by his Confederates and later died nearby. There is a memorial to Jackson, where he was presumed wounded. The visitor center is quite nice and the staff were very helpful and informative. They have a memorial wall of all who fought in the battle and my wife was able to locate some long lost relatives that fought on the Union side. There is a driving trail that takes you to multiple stops including, the Bullock House, the Chancellor House, McLaws Line, Slocum's Line, and Hazel Grove. National Park passport stamps are located in the visitor center and include the Battle of the Wilderness, which is a short drive away.

Manmade lake used to cool the local nuclear plant & as a park with swimming, boating & cabins.
We stayed two nights in the campground area. We had a lovely visit. Some sites are closer together than others but the variety of the area is perfect for every kind of camper and family. The rangers and hosts were helpful and kind. The bathrooms and showers were such a great amenity! I saw previous reviews that the area wasn’t perfectly clean but that was not my experience. These areas were cleaned daily and considering the volume of folks over a holiday weekend, it was pretty much immaculate. The lake and beach per reviews I read would be packed and busy but they were not that congested despite it being a holiday weekend. I thought there was plenty of room to do swimming, relaxing and paddle boarding. There are a lot of jet skis and boats because it is an active lake but No Wake zones and designated areas are clearly marked. The beach is definitely higher volume but we did plenty of beautiful trails that were quiet and scenic. Our tent area was cozy and all our neighbors were lovely. Thank you all for a wonderful weekend!
Kirsty P — Google review
Unfortunately I had to plan way in advance due to all weekends being booked, but worth it! The park was beautiful and well maintained. All the staff member we encountered were friendly and happy to see us! Stayed at site #38 which had plenty of space and distance between other sites. Water & power were very good and plenty of room on site for my tow vehicle. Cell coverage (Verizon) was weak, but available. The roads are wide and look as if they can accommodate you big rig drivers. The trails (hike/bike/horse) were well maintained and if you want you can get a lot of miles in we did 5 plus just on 3 trails. The beach was really nice and access came with renting the site. The beach staff were young and didn't have much control of who was suppose to be in the paid beach area? They even left all the swimmers alone for a "mandatory 30 min break" which I found strange, verses rotating their shifts? All and all it was a great stay.
Edgar J — Google review
We stayed in Yurt #1 and had such a great time! It’s in a perfect spot—close to the bathrooms and laundry room, but not too close. Everything was very clean, and the area felt well cared for. The yurt had one queen bed and a pull-out twin bed, which worked out perfectly for our family. We received four swim passes, which we think it's for lake swimming when the lifeguards were on duty. The whole area was beautiful! We visited just after Memorial Day weekend. The weather was a little chilly, but we still had a great time playing in the sand, enjoying nature, and swimming in the lake. The yurt doesn’t come with blankets or pillows. We didn’t know that beforehand, but luckily we brought our own from home. There’s no electricity or running water inside the yurt, which we expected, and it added to the camping adventure! There were plenty of tables and chairs. You can buy ice and firewood at visitor center near the entrance. Our little one woke up early because of the skylight at the top, so if you or your little ones are light-sensitive, an eye mask might help them sleep a bit longer. We’re definitely planning to come back again—it was such a fun and peaceful family getaway!

Great beach area with bbq grills and some tables. Plenty of parking. Good hiking trails. Bathrooms are always clean as are the grounds. The staff are always pleasant. Boat launch and pavilions also available, playgrounds too. Entry fee $10 per car

I wish I could have come earlier. We spend around 2 hrs until dusk. We still enjoyed a bit of a hike with our dogs and a walk in the beach front.

Had a great time. Lake was awesome and easy to launch or skis. Park was well maintained. Loved the trails and off path beach spots we found too.
Syzygy G — Google review
First of all, I wasn't here to swim or horse ride or boat or anything which this lovely park seems to cater to. If I was, I'd probably give it 5 stars. However, I was here to hit the trails, and while they weren't bad, I certainly wouldn't recommend them above trails in other parks. I went out the Sawtooth and looped around the other trails to come back on the Turkey Run. Nothing wrong with them, but nothing about them made me say "Wow, I have to come back!" But man, if I had been in the mood for a swim (and, like, brought my swimsuit and sunscreen) would have been 5 stars for sure.
James C — Google review
It's a fun place all around i used to go to the beach part when I was younger but it's great for everyone, I usually go there now just for the trails which are nice just watch for horse droppings as they are walk, run, bike and horse trails all in one. But the trails are nice and have some cool history and some nice water views and benches at the nice view areas.

La Petite Auberge is a charming restaurant that offers fancy European cuisine in a dreamy setting. The dining area features a garden theme, creating the perfect ambiance for a romantic date night. Additionally, the restaurant boasts a music-themed bar, adding to its allure. Guests can expect exquisite French-inspired dishes and well-balanced cocktails. The upscale setting makes it an ideal choice for special occasions, and reservations are recommended due to its popularity.
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. 10 stars 🌟. Every time I frequent this restaurant I leave with stars in my eyes and a very happy tummy. If Gordon Ramsey visited, he'd rate this place 20 stars 🌟. Yes. It's that good. The service is PHENOMENAL. Especially Aaron. He is hands down my favorite waiter and an astounding GM. I ask to have him as my waiter every time and have no plans of stopping anytime soon. He makes me feel welcomed, treats my friends and family like royalty. Spoils me rotten every time and I literally get so excited every time I go. The desserts are to die form. The rockfish is out of this world. Tonight we got to try the lobster rolls and they were to DIE FOR. Their seafood puts all other seafood to shame. It is fresh. Cooked witj nothing but perfection. Their food is cooked from scratch so trust me when I tell you that this is food worth waiting for. It is NEXT level fine dining. Best in Fredericksburg Stafford area hands down. No other place can even begin to compare. I literally cannot speak highly enough about this incredible restaurant. They could easily charge 100.00 a dish and I'd still show up. My fiancé lives for their steak. If you're a food snob and live for the sophistication of a quaint yet city like restaurant with brick interior and food that tastes like it just left the kitchen run by Gordon Ramsey himself, than I highly suggest you stop by. As many times as you'd like because I promise you this. You will be back. Again. And again.

We ended up here because another place had no tables available. We found this restaurant on Google maps. Sooo thankful we found it in Downtown Fredericksburg area. It was amazing. The service the atmosphere and the food was all amazing. We would've never thought there was a place like this in Fredericksburg. 😁👍🏼👍🏼 we will definitely be back for delicious food and dessert.

Overall a great date night experience. A little slow service due to a wedding party but the food was delicious. They were even able to accomodate our reservations an hour earlier. Tried their eggplant Freitas, octopus salad, halibut meal and soft crabs. Truly delicious. Drinks were also excellent. We will be back.
Adam G — Google review
How have I not been here before this? The atmosphere and service was top-notch, and the food is now my favorite in Fredericksburg. Every dish was better than the one before. The eggplant appetizer was probably my favorite dish, although everything was exceptional. Crème brûlée was the perfect way to end the meal. Our waiter made the meal even more extraordinary. I'm sorry I didn't get his name.

I want to take a moment to truly celebrate La Petit Auberge. I’ve visited a few times before and have always been impressed by the food, but this particular visit was on an entirely different level. I had to arrange a very last-minute reservation for a party of 21 to celebrate my friend’s birthday. To my surprise, the manager personally reached out to coordinate every detail. He even bent some of their usual large-group policies since it was a Tuesday night instead of a busy weekend. That gesture alone spoke volumes about their commitment to hospitality. When we arrived, the table was set “for a king” — his words, and he delivered! He not only prepared the setup himself but also took on the role of our server that evening. The level of care and attention he gave us was unmatched. What made it even more meaningful was the circumstance: the birthday boy and his fiancée had just returned from an unexpected family emergency out of town, and we weren’t sure if they would make it in time. Seeing them walk in, greeted by such a warm and thoughtful setup, turned what was otherwise a terrible day into a great night. La Petit gave us something many restaurants miss these days — an experience. They had no idea what our guests of honor had been through that day, yet they completely turned it around with a night full of laughter, great food, and friends & family. Most restaurants would have declined such a large same-day request or insisted on a prix fixe menu, which would have been understandable. Instead, La Petit found a way to make it work, and in doing so, made us feel like more than just customers. You’ve made a lifelong patron out of me, and I’ll be telling everyone I know: if you want more than just a meal, go to La Petit Auberge.
Justin S — Google review
We went to La Petite on a Monday night to celebrate a birthday. We sat in the bar area, it was a cozy little area. We pretty much had the place to ourselves, so it was very quiet. There was only one other couple in the bar area. Our dinner was delicious. We started with the Octopus and Lobster Eggrolls appetizers. Our main course, I had the Cod with Hollandaise sauce, and my friend had the Veal Scallopini. You first eat with your eyes and the presentation of our dishes was beautiful. Our dinner was absolutely delicious. We shared our dinners, and every bite was consistent in texture and flavor. The service was excellent, the timing between courses was not rushed. I look forward to returning for another dining experience.

First visit and the food was incredible. The French Onion Soup was delicious. The cheese on top was thick and perfectly toasted. The lamb fell right off the bone and scalloped potatoes were the perfect compliment to it.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! The BEST restaurant in Fredericksburg! Great for date night, anniversaries or just because. I’ve been there multiple times and have loved every dish I’ve tried, and the service is EXCELLENT! It’s the first restaurant I recommend to people who ask where to eat. Seating is limited as with any restaurants in olde town so reserve early.

I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at Angela's Italian Restaurant. My expectations were low, as I assumed it would be just another establishment claiming to serve authentic homemade Italian cuisine. However, the flavors were exceptional and surpassed anything else in the area, especially compared to Timbers. It is now my go-to choice for Italian dining. The staff are friendly and helpful, making for a pleasant dining experience.
Wonderful local restaurant, great food and decor, yet convenient to I-95. We were happily surprised about the quality and variety of the Italian dishes. Not a typical "pasta and pizza" place, but a real restaurant. Highly recommend. p.s. Also good for stopping at Food Lion next door if needed.

We looooved everything there! Amazing vibe, clean, fast service and fair price! The portions are bi enough to share, and DELiCIOUS! Parmegianas chicken 10/10, eggplant 11/10, capriese salada 8/10 the basil wasnt fresh.

Wonderful, wholesome Italian food - we had the salmon, the shrimp and the cheese Ravioli - exquisite. Hardy portions, affordable prices, cooked to perfection. Our fabulous waitress even refilled our sodas for free. Our dinners were less expensive than the breakfast my daughter and I had this morning.

Atmosphere was a good vibe and plenty busy. No wait upon arrival. Staff were nice, but our waitress was not attentive. Food was delicious. Garlic Knots were full of flavor. Stromboli was good. This was a small size, which was tough to finish. Seafood with pasta and white wine sauce. This dish has delicious sauce and yummy seafood. The pasta was okay, nothing superior.

Hubby and I are in search of the best pizza. We ordered Angela’s special with me putting the mushrooms and onions on the hubbys side. We also ordered extra cheese. The cheese pull was amazing!!! Not greasy, delish!!! I am not sure what was missing to give 5 stars, but something was missing but still sooooo good!! We liked the atmosphere as well and the staff!!! If you haven’t eaten here, you should!! Looking at there menu, there is so much… pizzas/pastas/subs…. Prices are reasonable… the xl pizza and 2 beers was about $40.

Hidden treasure. I’ve ate many a lunch here and had delicious steak and cheeses and Italian subs. But tonight we did dinner and it was amazing. Soup was hot and delicious. Tuna sashimi was amazing. And the main courses were huge and scrumptious. Chicken piccata and eggplant Alfredo dish. Highly recommend. True Italian cooking and owned by Italians.

Have plenty of gluten free options which is amazing. We have been eating here for years and the food is too tier. Just recently been told I have a gluten intolerance. So I'm so glad I can enjoy good food even with this new diagnosis. Pictured is a gluten free pizza

My sister and her husband love this place! They live in the neighborhood and when I visit with them, they know everyone in there! Angela's is a local restaurant that have great lunch specials, great sandwiches, and great pasta dishes. The pizza-is hit or miss. I've heard from a few locals that the pizza has less toppings and/or the sizes have shrunk for what you pay for. Since this is a local restaurant, Angela's-you have to keep the customers happy so don't change what's good already!! BTW-the jerk chicken wings that are on the lunch menu are delicious!! So is the cheesesteak!!

Scafa's Italian Restaurant is a traditional Italian eatery that offers a variety of dishes such as pizza, pasta and subs, along with beer and wine. Overall, the restaurant was well-liked by customers. While there were some initial issues with service, they quickly improved once orders were taken. The food received positive feedback and the portions were generous. However, some customers found the pricing to be confusing and inconsistent.
I love this place. They used to open late but I would wait to get pizza from them. Now they are open from 11am . The owner is a great man who truly cares about his customers. I get a pizza pie from them at least once a week. I would recommend them to my friends and family. The make good pizza, subs and their staff make you feel at home.

they charged $2 for cheese on an already $8 dollar salad and this was the outcome and put no silverware in the bag. If the restaurant is in trouble financially, don’t take it out on the customers. Also, don’t dare for ask for NY style pizza crust because they will act disgruntled.

Scafa's is a great, quaint Mom & Pop style Italian restaurant. The food hasn't let us down, the red sauce is tasty, pasta is not overcooked, the brick oven pizzas are great. The servers are friendly and the owner has greeted us every time we have eaten there.

The ITAVIE New York Grill & Bakery is a fantastic establishment with excellent service, delicious cuisine, and a pleasant dining atmosphere. From the moment you enter, you are greeted warmly and well taken care of. The calzones are particularly noteworthy for their generous size and great taste. The fried mozzarella balls make for a tasty appetizer, although some may find that they were not cooked thoroughly throughout. While I did not have dessert on this visit, the selection looked mouthwatering.
Stopped by here for lunch. Very nice setting, they got outdoor seatings. Bakery/coffee section is great! I also tried shrimp Alfredo and garlic knots. Alfredo was good but garlic knots were average, inside of the bread wasn't baked all the way. Service was good as well.

Recently went to Itavie for the first time and loved it! Service was excellent! We had Sonya as our server and she made us feel right at home. Super friendly and personable. The manager stopped by a couple of times and was super friendly as was the rest of the staff who would also stop by to clear a plate, etc. Food was delicious. My two notoriously picky kids loved it too...so much so that we went out of our way to go back the next week to try all new dishes and desserts. We saw all the same staff and they were just as friendly and welcoming as our first visit. Highly recommend!

The food here is delicious and the service is outstanding. Some of my favorites are the Italian burger, pizzas, and the Rueben. Sonia is an outstanding waitress! Great selection of dessert, and very clean dining room. The owner is a very kind lady and went around the dining room and gave out doughnuts she made from scratch. Customer service at its finest!

So this time on random rides introduce atavy New York grill& bakery. I have to tell you this little piece of heaven is located east of lake Anna in Virginia. We were greeted at the door waiting to be seated and our waitress. Nancy made a suggestion of one of the house specials that happens to be crab hush puppies. They came with a creamy sweet butter and they were out right off the chain Dynamite with a side of a lettuce with shredded Parmesan and a Small arugula salad with shaved Parmesan and banana peppers and balsamic glaze. The combination was outstanding. Then falling that up with our actual entree was a Stromboli Italian style that had five different meats in it. Three different veggies. Three different kinds of cheese. The large was only about $19 Aunt then was so massive that half of it had to be boxed up to go and when I say for his fresh ingredients, the fresh ingredients could be tasted in every bite. Everything was prompt, fast, extremely friendly and courteous service and if that wasn't bad enough, their pastry section if you're a sucker for sweets, will suck you in. And end it up having to twist my arm to take on a slice of a brownie caramel cheesecake and a slice of white strawberry cheesecake for the road. If you ever get a chance that you're near lake Anna and you're looking for Italian food that will just strike a mouth-watering experience, this is the place you need to check out.

We have been to Itavie on many occasions. This most recent visit was on Father’s Day, shortly after noon. We had made a call-ahead reservation, anticipating a large crowd. However, the restaurant wasn’t too busy. We were seated right away, but probably didn’t need to make the reservation. Overall, I was a bit underwhelmed on this visit, especially compared to previous visits. The menu is extensive, offering a plethora of Italian dishes, including beef, chicken, and seafood, as well as good selection daily specials on the board. The specials for the day featured a large ribeye steak, with a special Texas Rub and molten butter. It included au gratin potatoes and Parmesan roasted broccoli. A special lobster and crab bisque was the soup of the day. My party and so opted for two of the rib eye specials, a special soup of the day, and another order of New York Strip entree. House and Caesar salads were added for an extra charge. We saved room for desserts - a slice of Tiramisu and Cannoli Cheesecake. The salads were delicious, as was the bisque soup. However, the steaks were average at best. The strip was cooked to the correct temperature, medium, but was tough and lacked any flavor. Both rib eye steaks were over-cooked. We ordered medium, and while both had very small sections at that temp, the majority of each steak was well-done. The cuts of rib eye steaks were lacking flavor (not sure where the Texas Rub was), tough, and gristly - definitely not worthy of the most expensive item on the menu. The side of broccoli was OK. And the potatoes, both au gratin and mashed, were good. The desserts, while usually the very highlight of the visit, were sub-par. The Tiramisu was partly frozen, lacking the nice creamy texture. The cheesecake, usually very creamy and delicious, was quite “dry”, likely over/cooked or dated, basically crumbling and falling apart when forked. While our main server was quite friendly and attentive, there were a few hiccups from others. Our order of bisque was forgotten and basically came out with the mains. And, our orders of desserts from the expansive dessert bar, took a long time to arrive at our table in spite of the dessert staff not having others to serve. And, the dessert arrived packed away in a plastic take out container with plastic forks, instead of being plated for our consumption at the table. My hope is this was just a one-time break from the norm, as we usually look forward to our special Itavie visits.

I really enjoy this restaurant. The food is always phenomenal and the service staff is always attentive. I'm usually the type who gets the same thing at restaurants but this is one of the few places I like to get something different every time because it's always going to be good. I also love lookin at the dessert options when we leave and taking home something yummy for later. I like that this place is equal parts casual as it is upper scale. It's the best of both worlds. I will always recommend Itavie to anyone. Thanks for everything!

Decent place. I am not sure what is so NY about it, less the pictures on the wall of NYC landmarks. The picture of the Eiffel Tower was odd seeing as how they are touting a NY title. Being from NYC, I thought I'd give it a try, it's in an off the beaten path area, maybe that's why. The staff is very young and socially awkward, which is strange considering they have to interact with customers. The food did come out fresh and hot, the quality of the food is good, not great. For the price, I expected more, the sauce drowned out the pasta, barely any spinach, mushrooms or steak in the pasta. The prices are fair for the area, though the portions could be better. I would think that with a name such as ITAVE NY grill, there would be bread and olive oil for dipping immediately upon sitting, I did get a garlic knot, I guess that might be close.... All in all, it's just another place that offers no distinction from any other restaurant other than the name.

The Courthouse Cafe is a charming little eatery with a wide variety of menu choices. It has become a popular destination since opening a few years ago. Customers rave about the delicious food, extensive options, top-notch service, and friendly staff. The overall dining experience at this cafe is highly recommended by patrons who regret not trying it sooner. The positive feedback continues as visitors express their happiness upon returning to the cafe.
A perfect place for breakfast while traveling. With great prices, delicious food and a hometown welcoming feel. Quite crowded on a Tuesday morning at 10:00 am. The service was quick and Patty was a gem.

A small place that packs a good punch. The Courthouse Cafe is a small restaurant but it offers many good options. The portions are plentiful and the prices are very reasonable. I am very picky with my pizza and I tried a small pie. I was very satisfied with my choice. The crust was crispy and the toppings and sauce were of good quality. I seen a lot of people doing takeout pizza while I was there also. Give this place a try, you will leave happy and full.

The food was absolutely delicious, we got pepperoni pizza and bacon cheese fries which we recommend getting with ranch. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We paid around $26 with a tip but the portions were very generous.

SO GOOD! The food was delicious and there's plenty of it. The waitresses are so kind and very attentive. The place is clean but definitely very dated. It's like walking back into the 1980s, and I'm not complaining. It's small, so get there early because it was PACKED on this beautiful Sunday morning. They also have outdoor seating. We'll definitely be back!

Gave it a try after a few years. Heard the pizza was great. I can’t comment on it. Not what I ordered. Ordered from the all day breakfast menu. Omlet looked like it was thrown together randomly. Nothing melted together . Not for me. Maybe the pizza is amazing.

From the minute you walk through the door you feel this wonderful feeling like if you were at home. The food is so delicious that you want to stop cooking at home. Can just come and set their enjoy yourself with wonderful people that work there. Your place is clean and everyone. There is fun and respectful. It's not like any other restaurant. They have all kinds of different varieties of food at taste like you're in a dream.. I would recommend everyone in this county to go there. And see for themselves how wonderful that the owners are and the personnel. It's an unbelievable experience to eat in this wonderful place that we call the courthouse cafe.. The week they were closed for vacation. I nearly starved..

Such a great restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Always fast service and great food. Pay with cash to receive a discount. Have never had a meal we wished we didn’t order. And their pizza is very tasty! We especially like the honeymoon pizza. If you mention you read a review online, they will let you sit anywhere you like. When you go, try and get in Lena’s section… she is super special.

Stopped by on the way to Lake Anna, and I think was in and out in 20 minutes. Solid Coffee, Great Omlette, fast and friendly service. What more could you ask for??
