I would said nothing about place where is the library located . Because there is metro station just few hundred metres out. I wouldn't said nothing about how massive is the building . Because it's really big but looking nice ... Good luck !!

The observation deck entrance is at the back side of the building. Paid some fee, climbed the lift. The deck is overlooking the city of Minsk. Very beautiful view from here. There's a cafe and rooms for art exhibition. At night, we waited to see the light spectacle. Beautiful illumination. It's worth the wait.

You are transported to scenes of the 2WW through tanks, artillery and mannequins that are super realistic. You should definitely visit! The hall with the names of the heroes is incredible beautiful with stained glasses. A huge congratulations to everyone that put together this incredible museum.

Exposition is quite interesting however the stuff is closing museum at 18:30 not at 19 so I lost 30 min from of my sightseeing. Workers are not friendly looks like they don't like visitors.

A school parade was on close by, the patriotic music loud and the flags, held by each of the school kids, fluttering in the wind. A lovely backdrop on an excellent museum. The museum is new and expansive that takes the tourist through Belarus in the Second World War. There is everything from dioramas to weapons and even a few tanks. All material is in English and very extensive at that. The addition of an exhibit about “the raping of nanjing”, the Japanese army’s cruelty inflicted on the Japanese was brutal and fascinating.

Amazing museum, so many stories and so many items. My eyes were watering. It really captures the struggle and sacrifice of the people of former Soviet Union against the Nazis, and why their descendants will never forget or put up with nazism ever again.

I have been to many war museums, and this was a unique experience. To see from the point of view of soldier's and civilians living in those times is humbling. The presentation of this museum is immaculate, and English speaker friendly.

The Opera Building is amazing! I loved the awesome chandeliers everywhere and the marble. The play of swan lake was also absolutely impressive. I’m very grateful that I could be there!

Very small [in its sizes - both inside and outside] for such a significant and culturally important place. But there are very beautiful interiors and facade. It is also the single opera&ballet theatre in Belarus...

It was simply great! We had seats in the balcony zone, but the view was nice, the seats themselves were comfortable. The performance, and we attended a ballet performance, was fantastic, with bright costumes and good choreography.

The food is hearty, rich and served by plate load. Service is good, the English skills of the staff is good for this part of the world. I enjoyed the atmosphere; locals were present drinking and singing. As a tourist, it gave me a taste of tradition. Something that is easily lost in our sensored world.

I love this place. It was the excellent on all fronts: service, comfort and most importantly food. The food was a modern taken on Belarusian classics. The dessert was one of the most memorable interesting I’ve had the pleasure to experience. A Latrice of fried potatoes with ice cream. The contrasts in sweet, sour texture and flavour blew my conventional mind. I finished my 4 courses and went for a fifth, a coffee. The understood what a flat white was and delivered it with the attention of a astute barista. Simply superb.

It's a great place to come and meet people who sometimes come alone or join a random group! Their music is on point and is usually played from a record player! It's a wonderful place to come and hangout to watch the sunset or people watch on the street. The prices a little high for the wine. I believe the cheapest glass of wine I found was around 10 BYN or roughly $5.00.

Were here with a friend on the early morning. We ordered what you can see on the picture: pancakes and waffles+2 cappuccinos. Firstly, what was a good surprise, waitress brought us a bottle of water. A nice compliment from the establishment. The food came in about 7minutes, just from the kitchen. Delicious, if you are a fan of sweet breakfast. This bar also has a good spirits menu, if you want to enjoy something stronger than coffee😉 Quite a unique interior, but unfortunately I don’t have a good picture of it. Nice and cozy place. The terrace is very quiet and you have the sun in the end of afternoon. Healthy food, with a nice menu, not many choices and this is good. Inside is clean and big. The tea was really good, with basil, very original. Wine prices are a little expensive, but like many places in Minsk.

To say this is a wonderful restaurant, would be an understatement. It has a great location, easy to reach from downtown Minsk. The staff is super friendly and their menus are also with English descriptions. The prices are on the higher side but what you get is a very tasty, flavored dish which will make you want to come again. The interior design is also very nice and the traditional music was very well chosen. I will go back again for sure !

What a really great restaurant! The beef medallions wrapped in bacon with spinach mashed potatoes were fantastic. My wife really enjoyed the carp with potatoes as well. The homemade vodka sampler with kvass was very good, with their horseradish vodka being our favorite. Finally we finished everything up with their apple strudel. Plan ahead for dessert, as it takes 30 minutes to prepare. Definitely worth a visit while in Minsk. Also, they do take credit cards.

Delicious Belarusian food in a casual atmosphere. The starters and meals are very large so good for groups. Had the Belarusian starter which was a plate of pickled vegetables and definitely get the draniki which were amazing. They infuse liquors in house and have a small tasting. Wine list is just okay (gato negro is on there twice) but they have really tasty local beers. They have live traditional music as well.

A must if you are in Minsk, to enjoy local food and few types of vodka...take care not to mix them. Great atmosphere, amazing dishes, attentive service particulary from Yiulia which show us not only attention and proffesionalism but also empathy and huuuuge beautiful smile (very rare in Minsk). Tip: their draniki & sala - smoke lard, are the best

Excellent restaurant for tasting the original traditional Belarusian cuisine. They also include some old Lithuanian recipes. The place is cozy, elegant and the decor gives that feeling of traveling back in time. Service is good and helpful. Prices are reasonable

The cuisine is surprisingly good, team loved it. Hot drinks are great as well. Music is fascinating. Belarus is felt anew and magnificent here. Will recommend the place to friends and colleagues.

Excellent place 👌 one of the best for lunch / dinner in Minsk. It's located right in the heart of Minsk, it's mainly non smoking, and has a wire range of tasty options fish, meat, and some great starters. Ideal for business meetings and romantic rendezvous.

Extensive menu, beautiful classic and stylish decor, excellent service. Only downside is that the restaurant still allows smoking in a bar area, which unfortunately means smoke spreads across the dining room as well.

The food was all over cooked, the seasoning is all wrong, the place however is very nicely decorated. Come for a drink, but don't bother eating here.
