National library
Public library
The National Library of Republic of Belarus is a modern and uniquely designed library with a large collection of books. The building stands at over 73 meters high and has the shape of a rhombocuboctahedron, making it an impressive sight to behold. Visitors can take a panoramic elevator to one of the best observation platforms, where they can use binoculars with 30x magnification to view distant objects.
Although far from the city center, the library is an easy ride on the metro (even for someone who speaks no Belarusian, like me). It’s completely worth it, as around the back of the library you can pay to go up to the 35th floor to see the surrounding view of the city. Beautiful!!!
Alaina R — Google review
Very nice and beautiful place, recommend to visit to everyone who visits Minsk.
Nadia B — Google review
I would said nothing about place where is the library located . Because there is metro station just few hundred metres out. I wouldn't said nothing about how massive is the building . Because it's really big but looking nice ... Good luck !!
Serg P — Google review
Amazing visit to a cheap price. Great view of the city on a sunny Minsk day is incredible. Highly recommend

An icon of the city of Minsk! A must for all tourists, go to the 23 floor for the view.
Adam K — Google review
Famous and biggest library in Bilarussia. We visit it today 28th/08/2019 very nice place.
Drhazim G — Google review
The observation deck entrance is at the back side of the building. Paid some fee, climbed the lift. The deck is overlooking the city of Minsk. Very beautiful view from here. There's a cafe and rooms for art exhibition. At night, we waited to see the light spectacle. Beautiful illumination. It's worth the wait.
Keluarga P — Google review
I'll just make comments on the observation deck. It's one of the tallest buildings in Minsk, but you probably seen taller. Anyway, the main problem is, the deck is surrounded with dirty and imperfect glasses which distort the vision. It doesn't make any sense since the only purpose of this place is presenting a good view. Also binoculars are very old and not giving a clear view. If you're planing to drop by, you better keep your expectations low.

Great place, live rock and blues bands, tasty food, good choice of beer, nice service

Cool bar to hang out. Good interior design, good music. There is live music 🎶 every night. Fast service and reasonable prices. The only reason i gave 4 stars is because the beers i ordered were not very cold ❄. I am sure it will be better, so go and visit this bar if you are around. It opens after 18.00 pm though, so check the opening times before going.

Good place with great live music. Good drinks selection, but some classic drinks are not on the menu, like Singapore Sling. Atmosphere is great. There are two main problems: 1. Lack of toilets and always long waits there, 2. Absolutely terrible service- you need to go and grab staff to service you. Prices are reasonable and good whiskey map.
Ilya K — Google review
Cute bar! I was new to today night life of Minsk, since I used to live there more then 10 years ago so my sister took me there and that was awesome! There was some kind of cover band that night... Guys did amazing!. I loved the atmosphere and interior of this place. Def will visit and recommend. Reminds me American pubs)))

Bar
Nestled in the vibrant Upper City area, El Pushka is a delightful Mexican-style bar that stands out among the many lively spots in town. With its inviting decor and cozy atmosphere, this gem offers an exciting menu featuring South American favorites like arepas and empanadas, all infused with a unique Belarusian twist. The bar is run by a passionate Mexican owner who personally serves up delicious tequila-based shots and cocktails alongside his friendly bartenders.
Awesome place! The bartender/ waiter asks you about your tastes and then suggests something you might like. For the next round you can say, "I'd prefer something more sour/fruity/minty/etc" and they'll adjust accordingly. :) We were a group of 4 and all the drinks we tried were awesome! The menu is only in Russian, but waiters speak English and are realllly helpful, so it doesn't matter if you can't speak Russian. Good Cuban sandwiches, but the nachos were actually pretty bad. There was even live music by a Cuban duo. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Minsk!
Erinn — Google review
Cocktails are tasty and well done. But non-alcoholic options are seriously bad. Nice place to drink tequila with a friend (max 2) if you are not afraid of small places. The bar itself is super tiny but quite nice. The summer terrace is ugly and has uncomfortable sitting options. Sometimes there is a dj playing. But except his music you can also hear music from the bar next door. Impossible to be here even for a minute..
S L — Google review
Amazing place! One of the best on Zybitskaya! The best tequila shots! Despite on small room can contain a big amount of people and has a really comfortable Mexican atmosphere! Must visit!
Aliaksei M — Google review
One of the most favorite places in Minsk. Great latin music as well as drinks! Very welcoming, warm atmosphere and friendly bartenders.
Anastasiya K — Google review
Good place with very nice selection of cocktails. Place is very small for all the people that go there. Staff is nice and always willing to help out you with the choice of drinks. Its just a place to be with friends, not a place for dancing.
Ricardo M — Google review
Having lived and seen many countries and bars, I can say that this place is top class place with very nice traditional drinks, music, decor and staff. It would be much better if it was bigger place. Right now, it is rather small place. But, still the best place in minsk by far currently.
TheGokhansimsek35 — Google review
The best fun place in town. The bartenders are super friendly, they have a wide variety of drinks, the music is awesome ... I just love it !! And the tomato drink with the tequila.. .wow

Nestled in the heart of Belarus's capital, ID Bar is a charming and eclectic spot that beckons visitors with its inviting atmosphere, delicious cocktails, and hearty meals. This venue truly comes alive during themed nights like Halloween, where locals don their best costumes for an unforgettable party experience. The bar boasts a diverse cocktail menu that encourages guests to engage with the friendly bartenders who are often willing to share their mixology secrets.
Very smart place and great service! Small snack served with the drinks is always worth 5 stars! Comfortable outdoor seating. Would recommend if you are in the area! (P.S. try the Lidskae on draft - dark, smooth beer)

Nice place to have a quick bite to eat and a cocktail. Staff were very pleasant and the food was very delicious. The prices are moderate compared to the rest of the restaurants and bars in Minsk. Establishment was clean and the decor was very chic and cool. When I visited it was not very busy but this was during the week. The bartender told me it picks up on the weekends and they have a pretty vibrant crowd. Would definitely recommend. For more interesting reviews and places to visit check out @ricklemoinevip

I love it! It’s my favorite place in Minsk. Best cousins for me are pasta with seafood and salad with salmon and zucchini. A lot of kinds of cocktails, friendly stuff and interesting atmosphere. Good coffee, thematic evenings. You better need to reserve a place if you want to come Friday’s or Saturday’s evening.

With its slogan "Beer is never too much," this venue caters especially to beer enthusiasts, boasting over 100 bottled varieties from around the globe and 12 distinct drafts hailing from renowned brewing countries like the Czech Republic, Germany, and Belgium.
It is a classy pub with a good food. Wonderfully trained staff meets you at the entrance, they are smiling and cheerful. The price range is definitely above average by Belarusian standards, but the selection of beers is impressive. The food is delicious and the interior is stylish. Altogether great!

Alex K — Google review
Great place, amazing beer selections, tasty food. Prices are slightly bigger than in other part of Minsk, but other than that everything is superb. Btw Shopska Salad in menu looks and taste like Greek salad and it is really delicious=))
Evgeny G — Google review
Close to the centre of Minsk in a pedestrianised bar street. Great selection of beers, including some craft Belarusian ales on tap. Go for the Minsk Mad frog unpasteurized ale, strong in alcohol but very tasty. Worth a visit for a beer and a bite to eat. Free internet, and friendly English speaking staff. Eclectic music, Black Sabbath, Iggy Pop, Jazz versions of Nirvana and Irish folk songs make for an entertaining soundtrack.
Simon P — Google review
You can find really great selection of draft and bottled beers here, from lot of regions of the world, mostly Eupore through, and local beer of couse as well. If you not a big fan of beer, wine option is available, not a bad one. I like the style of this place, some food pin-up art on walls.

Nestled on the edge of Svobody Square, the Holy Spirit Cathedral stands as a testament to Minsk's rich history and architectural beauty. Originally built between 1642 and 1687 as a Roman Catholic monastery for the Bernardine Order, this stunning Eastern Orthodox Baroque cathedral has weathered centuries of conflict and neglect. In 1860, it was consecrated to Saints Cyril and Methodius after being handed over to Russian Orthodoxy.

Olivier B — Google review
(Translated by Google) The Church of the Holy Spirit is a former Greek Catholic (Uniate) monastery complex, a monument of Renaissance architecture. Founded in 1616 and included a church, a residential monastery complex and outbuildings. On April 15, 2009, a group of Minsk Greek Catholics asked for permission to rebuild this shrine of the Uniate church, the appeal was signed by Doctor of Historical Sciences Anatoly Gritskevich, Doctor of Theology Irina Dubenetskaya, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Yuri Khodyko, writer Vladimir Orlov, poetess Galina Dubenetskaya, archaeologist Edward Zaikovsky, historian Anatoly Sidorevich. The believers explained their request by the fact that as of 2009, there were four Greek Catholic parishes in Minsk, but none of them had their own church. However, they were refused. There is an opinion that the refusal is explained by the existence of an unwritten rule in Belarus: without the consent of the leading bishop of the Moscow Patriarchate, the authorities cannot give representatives of another confession consent to build a church on the territory of a given diocese. I give it 4☆ because of the reluctance to return the shrine to the Uniate Church.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful cathedral, ancient place, cool surroundings. I took off the star because when worshiping at the shrine, no distancing measures or treatment of the shrine site are observed. Many people kissed the shrine and yet no one ever wiped it. This is how infections spread. By the way, prices in the cathedral are lower than in churches in the Gomel region. And no one will say anything if suddenly you don’t have money for something. They will do it for free. Victory Park is a sprawling 200-hectare green oasis nestled along the banks of Komsomolskoye Lake, making it the largest park in Minsk. This stunning locale features an impressive array of activities, from running and cycling to boating on the serene waters. One of its standout attractions is the Fountain of Sails, renowned as the highest and most powerful fountain in Minsk; on sunny days, you might even catch a glimpse of rainbows dancing in its mist.
Absolutely loved this park! Firstly so huge you could get lost. It has something for everyone! Young and old. Play areas for kids, beautiful grounds, the river winding through the middle of the park was just the best thing. So perfect for runs.. for an added experience a morning run with the sun rising and the birds chirping just melts away the stress away. Quiet forrest area for dog walkers, fountains, views, nice tracks for bicycles, scooters and even a Segway, scooter and moped rental. There’s food and an ice cream booth with snacks. It was my favourite place to go to in Minsk

We went there early September. Flower beds at the entry are a bit of a disappointment but it gets better as you go further. Good selection of roses. Also don't look mature enough to have a good display. Make sure you have visited a toilet BEFORE as we have only seen portaloos inside that park that I won't let my 7yo anywhere near! Nestled away on the pedestrian street Internacionalnaya, Pinky Bandinsky is a hidden gem that beautifully marries elegance with rustic vintage charm. This stylish bar and restaurant boasts an inviting atmosphere across two floors, making it a delightful spot to unwind. The menu features an impressive array of vegetarian options alongside tantalizing cocktails and other beverages. One standout dish is their tartare, which has garnered rave reviews for its simplicity and flavor—perfectly complemented by crispy fries!
Food: One of the best tartares I've had-simple but amazing, and they serve it with fries!!! Shrimp popcorn was also delicious, a perfect appetizer (8/10) Service: Attentive and welcoming, no complaints at all. (8/10) Vibe: A cool, conceptual spot! Great patio, balcony with plenty of tables, inside bar, small dance floor, and an interesting interior. You can find everything you need here. (8/10) 8/10

Great experience overall! The staff were very polite and welcoming, and the food was tasty and well-prepared. The atmosphere felt cozy and clean. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice meal!
Ferit S — Google review
Quite a nice bar, food was great, wine rather average, so maybe the wine menu should be a bit expanded or improved. Service was quick, the waiters are polite and attentive, for example when the doors were open to let in some fresh air we were asked if we felt fine cause we were sitting not far from it.

Nice and cosy place in the city center. Fits well for either Sunday lunch or Friday night out. Waiters and service is great - never annoying and in general are pretty fast and attentive. And moderate prices as well😋 Although I'd recommend another place if you're fan of steakes:)

Coffee shop
Coffee roasters
Cafe Zerno is a pioneer in Minsk's contemporary cafe scene, renowned for its delightful coffee, delectable cakes, and pastries. It has set high standards for coffee-making craftsmanship in the city and offers an ever-changing array of local art on its walls. The cozy shop also caters to vegan options and provides a welcoming environment with friendly English-speaking staff.
You can't go wrong by going here! Whatever you get, you are going to enjoy. I personally really like their Lavender Latte. I think this is one of the better spots to come to if you want to work from your laptop. They also have good small meals to keep you comfortable.
Dylan F — Google review
Let me be clear. I like the place and I will most certainly come back, because the coffee here is more than adequate and the service attitude is ok by Minsk standards, so my 3-star rating is a message and a statement. Guys, 19 minutes waiting time in a cafe is NOT okay! My desserts arrived 7 and 9 minutes past me placing the order -- ok-ish. Desserts were fresh and toasty, loved it, but the coffee arrived wholesome 10 minutes after that. Do you think the desserts stayed fresh and toasty by then? If you wonder why on earth I was tracking times, I have an answer that wouldn't please you. Last 2 visits I've had exactly the same experience, so this time round I thought I'd give it a measure and write a review. Or maybe give you a chance to prove me wrong, because, again, I like the quality of your food. But the third time wasn't lucky, the situation, sadly, is fairly consistent. Also, I have to report that I wasn't alone in my disappointment either: a guy sitting next to me went to chase for his order, which is something you'd expect to happen in a restaurant, not a cafe. I can only hope this review makes an impact and helps you make the last leap to perfection. Peace.
Alexander C — Google review
Great place to work. Friendly staffs. And great dessert. Didn't try the coffee but got chai latte, was good.

Zerno is my favourite coffee shop in Minsk. It's one of those places that you want to visit during dark cold winter or nice warm summer. The staff speak fluent English and very friendly. They make a great coffee as well :)
E P — Google review
Not so far from the city center, free plug and wifi. Delicious coffee and cakes.
Tatsuya Y — Google review
Nice coffee bar with vegan options, I came two days in a row to work here. I had cacao from Alpro almond milk and an exceptionally delicious piece of vegan chocolate raspberry cake. The personnel speaks English and is super friendly. The music is great. The wifi isn't 100% stable and there's cold wind every time the door opens.
Janne V — Google review
It was so-so. I am hoping to change this to a 5 star review in the next couple months once the weather gets warmer and the patio is open. But for now, it's average at best. I do like that there is no mirror in the bathroom. It deters the type of women that need to look at themselves every hour from coming to this cafe.
Taylor C — Google review
Nice place to have a cup of coffee. Self made desserts and pies are pretty good. Price is average. Good location in center of Minsk. Easy to get here from tube. In summer there is nice terrace to have some rest in shadow and drink lemonade or ice latte.

Quite pricey but: delicious cocktails, wide range of drinks(any types), good choices of appetizers and main menus, friendly staff, comfortable terrace, nice background music. Great choice of place to stop at for a drink or for a celebration. Suitable for events by little groups of people. 5⭐️

That's a good place for an evening meal and a drink. It is very cosy in there, awesome place for companies from 3 to 9 people. The music is not loud, the light is not too bright. The food is just great there (burgers are fantastic) and so are drinks. The prices are quite reasonable. The staff is really nice all the time. Maybe the only minor point is that it is not the easiest place to find, but this can as well be an advantage.

Love the place. Come here every now and then to spend an evening in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Selection of food and drinks is wide enough for an occasional visit. Knowledgeable staff, happy to answer a question or explain a thing or two about the menu options. Not too opinionated crowd. Cozy interior. Would recommend.

Interesting spot... above a "gentleman's club..." was quiet while I was there. (A Thursday night). They were friendly - english is touch and go though... but wasnt too bad. I left at 11 - was still quiet. Only had the beer - the draft was so\so - no craft beers here... and the only bottled beer was corona. Nevertheless - it has a good vibe. I believe at other times it would be more entertaining.

Visitors can explore the country's turbulent past through various displays. The museum provides an insightful look into the heritage of Belarus, making it a must-visit attraction for those interested in delving into the nation's history. Untidy but cozy place. Looks like a large house more than a museum.
Mehmet D — Google review
The museum was rather disappointing. While it has a lot of great artifacts on display, the curation of the exhibits could be improved. A self-guided tour would have been difficult had I already not known anything about Belarusian history. The museum staff was unhelpful, and some of them were outright rude to our family. The museum currently has an exhibit with a virtual reality component, but the staff almost religiously trys to keep you from using the VR gear, I guess to keep you from breaking it. Then as we waiting for a scheduled activity for children to start (which did not start on time), our kids got a bit rowdy, but not out of control (what do you expect from kids when they get impatient). One of the staff members came and told them to "stop running and breaking everything." We promptly left. Maybe on other days there are more friendly staff members on hand, but based on our experience, I would say that a visit to this museum is not worth the money it costs, and that it is not a place to take the family.

Very nice and helpful staff, food is good and fresh but a little overpriced. Opened kitchen is part of the decoration.

The good: one of the only places open on Sunday morning in that area and super sweet waitresses. The not so much: cappuccino was small and served hardly warm. The shrimp toast was ok, even the pickles seemed to fit there somehow. But why on earth was the romaine salad there? It tasted weird. Pastries were fine but really nothing special. And the menu is way overpriced. A one-time visit for me.

Very lovely place with good music and top service. Staff is very friendly and talkative, a lady introduced to me the benefits of hot flat white and liquer. The only thing I was a little disappointed, lady suggested me liquer but didnt mention it was ~4 €, when the coffee was ~2 €, I wanted that to be said when I agreed. Despite of it, buns are baked in the cafe so are extra fresh and tasty. Wortg a sin and stepping our of diet. Flat white is cosmic.

Great burgers, nice staff. Had the double cheeseburger and it was awesome. I particularly liked the poppy seeds on the bun, it complimented the rest of the burger very well. The Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, established in 1944, is a significant World War II museum with 24 exhibit halls housed in an iconic building. It is located in central Minsk and holds national importance. The museum showcases the rich history of Belarus and features an impressive collection of art and cultural artifacts related to the war.
One of the highlights of Minsk. Great museum detailing the great patriotic war in the 1940's. War is bad but sadly nobody remembers it. Those who forget history are condemned to repeat the past.

You are transported to scenes of the 2WW through tanks, artillery and mannequins that are super realistic. You should definitely visit! The hall with the names of the heroes is incredible beautiful with stained glasses. A huge congratulations to everyone that put together this incredible museum.

The Museum of the Great Patriotic War in Minsk is impressive, well-maintained, and rich in historical content. It offers a comprehensive overview of the Soviet Union's—and especially Belarus’s—role during World War II. The exhibits are well-organized, with authentic artifacts, photographs, weapons, vehicles, and immersive reconstructions. The modern and multimedia setup makes the visit engaging even for those who aren’t history enthusiasts. It’s a place that moves you and makes you reflect, essential for understanding the country’s historical memory. Highly recommended

A school parade was on close by, the patriotic music loud and the flags, held by each of the school kids, fluttering in the wind. A lovely backdrop on an excellent museum. The museum is new and expansive that takes the tourist through Belarus in the Second World War. There is everything from dioramas to weapons and even a few tanks. All material is in English and very extensive at that. The addition of an exhibit about “the raping of nanjing”, the Japanese army’s cruelty inflicted on the Japanese was brutal and fascinating.

The theatre is located within walking distance of the Palace of the Republic, making it easily accessible for visitors exploring the city.
Went to see "The Grey Legend" with my wife. Was surprised that there were subtitles in Russian and English, which was absolutely fabulous. I'm no theater/opera expert, but this was the first time I've see light projections during a play- awesome. The acting and singing was superb. After the performance ovations took about 5 to 7 minutes. Everybody loved it, so did I.

Beautiful building and no queues during the break for coffee. It was smelling like toilet next to our seats and we had to be reseated somewhere else

The Opera Building is amazing! I loved the awesome chandeliers everywhere and the marble. The play of swan lake was also absolutely impressive. I’m very grateful that I could be there!

Very small [in its sizes - both inside and outside] for such a significant and culturally important place. But there are very beautiful interiors and facade. It is also the single opera&ballet theatre in Belarus...

With an array of exhilarating slides, serene pools, and a lazy river to float your worries away, it’s the perfect spot for families or anyone looking to unwind. Beyond the water attractions, you can indulge in spa treatments or enjoy some fun at the arcade.
Was a great experience, Great place, Nice outdoor area, with Whirpool, Good slides and also a Very Good Price, not too Expensive
DavidB U — Google review
Rather disappointing experience, especially for the high price you have to pay. I expected higher standards, and better overall cleanliness. There's always a long line at the water slides and I don't think it's that spectacular. The bathhouse is quite small and disappointing, there's only one pool with lukewarm water and a few saunas. I paid 110 rubles for 4 hours, I would've rather spent that money on anything else literally. I think the overall rating of this place is misleading.
Lenard K — Google review
One of the best aquaparks I've been to. Far better than many waterparks in Europe and Asia.
Tarek A — Google review
The water in the waterpark was very cold. In the spa only 4/6 things worked. The workers are not friendly. Food is horrible. Saunas are to o cold. Lockers are too small. Could only buy ticket online (6h).

Best waterpark in minsk. Indoor and outdoor water park with nice rides.

Nice place for the rest of family or friends. There are a lot of waterslides, public jacuzzis, open pool. It has inside and street slides. The better time for visit are working days or 0900am weekends. Later you may face significant ques on weekend. You may buy tickets on-line at website.

The water park was clean and had many water slides. The park has an indoor part and outdoor part . The indoor part has heaters and is huge and has around 8 slides and many pools , spa , jacuzzi, restaurant, toilets , surfing area . The indoor water slides were not much fun for me because they were to safe to be scared. The outdoor water slides seem to be better because they are very fast. However the outdoor part of the park is open only when the weather is above 25*c which is a rare thing to happen in minsk
Talal M — Google review
Came here twice only for their saunas. There are 7 saunas, an ice-cold water tub, and a small pool to lounge in. It's a fantastic place to spend about an hour or so in. Although they have 7 saunas, I would say only 2 of them are to my liking (the extremely hot wet sauna, and the hot dry sauna), along with the ice-cold water tub.

The Belarusian National Arts Museum is housed in a classical-style building and showcases an extensive collection of over 30,000 artworks, making it the largest museum in the country. Established in 1939, the museum's original collection was lost during the Great Patriotic War, with much of it still missing. The current collection primarily consists of donations from Russian museums and private collectors, along with some recovered artworks.
Loved the museum - it has fantastic collection of Belarusian and Russian art that covers different periods in history, large number of work was pillaged during WWII and now returned to the collection. I visited museum around Christmas time and had the opportunity to listen to a Choir Concert that was wonderful. Overall great museum, chance to discover lots of new interesting artists. My only complain is the lighting, it really needs adjustment as it leaves glare on the pictures making it harder to see the details.
Natalia O — Google review
Fantastic permanent collection spanning across many centuries. Highly recommend visiting when in Minsk. On par with a lot of European art museums.
Tanya B — Google review
Great museum in a lovely palace. Lots of paintings and soviet art from the most talented artists such as Shishkin and Alvazovsky. There are also works from european artists. Really a good experience.
Maximiliano S — Google review
A wonderful place to go to see some current exhibits. When I went, they had a new exhibit on the color red and how it relates to the Belarusian people. I found it interesting and the descriptions were well written. I have been several times and will continue to go back when they implement more exhibits as the rest of the museum doesn't change.
Dylan F — Google review
It wasn’t the food that inspired me on this short trip to Minsk, it was the artworks of one 19th century landscape painter, Ivan Aivazovsky. His piece “Night at Rodos Island” is sublime. The art works in this large gallery are expansive in period range and scale. There was an exhibit on horses and horse related art works that I found fascinating.
David C — Google review
Amazing collection of art, however the presentation and the lighting are horrible. Missing professional touch. Also, offers no discounts to kids and seniors. No elevator to the second floor.

Compared to similar museums in other countries this is not a very big one, but it holds an excellent exhibition (mostly of paintings and some sculptures) by some great artists. The entry costs only 6byn, so there is no reason of thinking it too much. It really worths a visit.

Nestled in the heart of Minsk, Cafe 1. ENZO is a culinary gem that specializes in an array of mouthwatering steaks and burgers, complemented by a fine selection of wines. The menu boasts premium cuts alongside creative alternatives, including vegetarian options and unique offerings like the Hawaiian burger. Breakfast lovers will be delighted to know that ENZO serves breakfast all day long, ensuring you can enjoy refreshing morning meals at any hour.
After reading the reviews here, I can verify ENZO does indeed have a solid burger. I had the ‘Texas’ one...though if you’re looking at the English menu at least, there is no description of what’s in it. Despite that, it was a great burger that I washed down with a delicious bottled IPA. Service was great, and I’d recommend this place for anyone looking to chow down in Minsk!
Michael B — Google review
Cool interior setting, nice staff, though very slow: less than 10 people in the place and we still waited for our order to arrive for almost an hour. The burgers were definitely overpriced, considering the size, but very tasty. The only real minus for me really was the waiting time, so if they could solve this problem - consider visiting with friends for a couple of beers.
Angelina M — Google review
This place is very interesting, there were a lot of things I liked and some I didn’t. The portion sizes are huge. We had the Brazil burger and the New France burger. The Brazil burger was excellent in taste, but arrived cold. The New France arrived hot but was not as good. I did not like the fact that the menu did not have any details about the food items, but the waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. Service was reasonably fast. Drink selection was limited. Fries were dry and “spicy” fries weren’t really spicy. In addition, it’s definitely a sports bar environment. It’s very loud, and whenever they don’t have a sport playing they are blasting music.
Vlad — Google review
Nice menu, Cheese sandwitch was great, meat inside of it was perfect, didn't had so good meat in long time, French toast very nicely done, just missing a bit of softness inside of it but gniocchi portion was too small, they didn't had any taste, basque cheesecake was ok
Dyzio . — Google review
Only buy burgers. I tried their dinner menu. They tried too much. Burger was much better. Oh try their beer. Good kraft beer. I forgot, soup was also fine.
Kamil K — Google review
I really enjoyed two things at this place: music and burgers. Also can't help mentioning the service Enzo could be proud of. And you can be sure you'll find what suits your taste: the menu is quite rich.
Vladislav G — Google review
Salad with pastrami was great. The burger with pastrami and kimchi was okay but not exceptional. I liked their french fries though. Tartare sauce was a great match. The waiting time is indeed too long as a lot of reviewers correctly point out
Alexey S — Google review
Great steak tartar here. I love the fact that the kitchen crew gave it their own interpretation and did not just go with the traditional style. Poached egg on top, very thin raw champignons and the parmasan cheese foam provided a lot of delicate flavours to combine with the meat to let the consumer create little unique flavours for every bite. A bit much rucola for my taste but you can always choose to eat less then presented, I think it made it more accessible for people not really familiar with steak tartar as it would almost match up with carpaccio in taste if you ate it with a lot of rucola. The steak, fries, carrot fries and salad where all great too!

The Cat Museum in Minsk, Belarus is a unique feline-themed attraction that offers visitors the chance to interact with resident cats while exploring various cat artifacts and art displays. Despite its name, it's not a traditional museum with exhibitions but rather a space where visitors can spend time with the cats, play games, and even draw pictures of them. The museum also features a cat cafe where guests can enjoy tea in the company of their feline hosts.
Cute place that is a must for cat lovers. It is 9 for entry and you can pay with card or cash; this also gives you free cup of tea or coffee.

Went here with my sister on a tuesday. The owner is very nice and speaks english very well so it's tourist accessible. The entrance fee is only 15 рублей(approx. <5 euro) and it comes with free tea and water. The place is on the 3rd floot of an apartment next to a few cafès which makes it a perfect place to visit even if for as little as 20 minutes on the go. The cats are all healthy, well maintained and not aggressive, they told us that they are rescued feral cats, you can adopt them if you want to. The place is very well decorated and well maintained too, there is not as much smell as we anticipated at all. The space is not very big, but it's cozy, there's an area dedicated to making drawings for kids. There's also Johnny (a small dog). Overall a nice place to visit, will visit again if i ever come back to Belarus.

The restaurant L'angolo Italiano offers delicious Italian cuisine with excellent service. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a romantic dining experience. The pasta dishes are especially popular, and the wine selection is top-notch.
4 of us met here for dinner and we really enjoyed the whole experience. Waiter was one of the best I have ever experienced in Minsk, I was very impressed! Delicious red negroamaro Italian wine went well with our main courses. I was super impressed by the ravioli with cream sauce! Probably one of the best ravioli I have ever had! I have recommend this restaurant to others based on my recent experience! Thanks for great experience!
RTWM — Google review
I didn't have any initial expectations when I stumbled upon L’angolo Italiano while exploring the city, but it's now probably my favorite Italian dining experience in Minsk. The restaurant invokes a charming ambiance, with its exposed brick walls, bay windows, and thoughtfully arranged tables that offer both intimacy and comfort. In my opinion, what truly elevates this restaurant is their exceptional quality of ingredients. Their yellowfin tuna tartare was the freshest I’ve ever encountered in Minsk - by far. Served with a sophisticated brown sugar sauce that complemented rather than overwhelmed the fresh fish. The carpaccio was equally impressive - paper-thin slices that melted effortlessly. Although I will note one suggestion, offering table side balsamic vinegar with this dish would have made the thoughtful service even better. The service matched the quality of the cuisine; assertive & attentive without hovering. While their dinner menu is not inexpensive, they offer an excellent lunch special menu (on weekdays) and deliver superb value through an authentic Italian dining experience where quality ingredients are treated with respect and transformed into authentic Italian dishes. For anyone seeking refined Italian cuisine in Minsk, this restaurant deserves every one of its five stars.

The owners of Middle Ground bar offer business owners the ability to update their profile information, upload pictures, respond to customer reviews, and more. They invite businesses to request a free profile for their establishment. However, opening a bar without proper knowledge of running it or understanding what makes a good gastropub is risky. Despite this, it can be seen as an attempt to simulate being in the pub business. One common issue is that without high-quality ingredients, delicious meals cannot be created.
Great bar with pleasant chill atmosphere and really friendly staff. Good choice of beer, nice cocktails for every taste. Bartenders definitely know their work well. Had an amazing night spent here. Would recommend visiting and would definitely come again myself.

Then you have money and you built the bar in the loft town without any knowledge how to run it and what about good gastropub should be. Anyway it's a good try to simulate "I'm in the pub business". And the general BY problem is that without good quality ingredients you cannot make tasty meals. They look nice, they smell nice, they taste like soviet

The Shangri La Casino in Belarus is a popular and well-maintained casino that offers high-quality customer service. It is open 24 hours a day, and its gaming tables are popular for Russian poker and Black Jack. The minimum bet at the table is 10 dollars, while the maximum bet is 3000 dollars. American roulette has a minimum bet of 2 dollars and a maximum of 500 dollars.
Very professional and cordial staff. It's not usually busy during week days and week nights. Have a wide selection of drinks which are on the house as long as you are playing.

To get in, you had to buy in 5,000 USD worth of casino chips. They claimed it was some special day. Bear in mind that they also have a 4% commission for when you cash out so that's essentially a $200 entry fee. You're better off going somewhere else and letting them have their "special events"

Awful place, almost empty, fake posh looking and definitely not the place you'll feel comfortable to gamble and have a drink with friends. And not necessary to talk about girls dresses. This casino is still in the past century.

Nestled in the heart of Minsk, *BeerCap barshop* is a must-visit destination for beer enthusiasts. This charming establishment features two tasting rooms where you can explore an impressive selection of bottled beers from renowned breweries like De Molen, Mikkeller, and To Ol, alongside local craft options. The knowledgeable staff are always ready to help you find the perfect brew to suit your taste.
This is by far the best place to go to get beer in Minsk. They have a wide selection of bottles from around the world and beers on draft. The staff working both the bar and the bottle shop are knowledgeable and will get you a beer that you will enjoy. I have come here several times and have always enjoyed my time here. They usually have a band playing during the weekends and have plenty of people. It is located perfected to other bars so if you want to bar hop, this is the place. I strongly recommend this bar to anyone!!!

Beer for take away or to drink there. Hipster vibe with lots of smoking outside. Good selection of brews, bad opener for the beer.

Fantastic little place. They offer a nice and everchanging range of high quality craft beers (mainly Belorussian) in a relaxed, down-to-earth atmosphere. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. There's even a room where you can do some beer-shopping to take home with a broad range. Returned here regularly during my stay in Minsk and can recommend everyone to do the same!

Of course there is a lot of space for improvement in various aspects: politeness to the customers, atmosphere and cleanliness inside of the place itself, degustation event options they offer and so on. But these guys disrupted the beer market in Belarus by being the first company to import interesting beers in descent volume here and this must be appreciated. Thank you and keep up the good work!

The Bratsk Military Cemetery is a serene and beautifully maintained memorial that pays tribute to those who lost their lives in the First World War, including notable Belarusian literary figures like Yakub Kolas and Yanka Kupala. Established by the Minsk City Duma in 1914, this site offers visitors a chance to reflect on history amidst its tranquil surroundings. The cemetery's tasteful design harmonizes with nature, creating an atmosphere that feels more like a monument than a traditional burial ground.

(Translated by Google) It often happens that we pass in a hurry along the same path, without looking back and without thinking... This was the path along Perespe for me... Miraculously, I noticed a unique memorial dedicated to those who died on the battlefield and from wounds in military field hospitals during the First World War... The decision to create the Fraternal Military Cemetery was made by the Minsk City Duma on November 11, 1914. Literally in the very first days after the opening, burials began. Somewhat later, the necropolis was surrounded by a fence, a watchman's booth was installed, a chapel was built to commemorate the fallen and a church for the funeral of the deceased. Burials continued until 1920 and, according to rough estimates, amounted to 5,000 graves. During the Second World War, the German occupiers created a concentration camp here, and those who died in inhumane conditions were buried in the same graveyard. At the end of the war, so that the place would not remind of the horrors that had happened earlier, the necropolis was razed to the ground. Not only the memory of the atrocities of the Nazis was destroyed, but also of those killed during the First World War. Around 1996, the lands of the former Fraternal Military Cemetery were included in the republican list of historical and cultural heritage sites. With the advent of the new millennium, funding from the state budget was allocated for the improvement of the memorial site. Gradually the area was put in order. Since 2011, the chapel of the Znamenskaya Icon of the Mother of God began to operate. The interior is lined with mosaics; outside there are bronze bas-relief sculptures of the patron saints of the army: Alexander Nevsky, Dmitry Donskoy, John the Warrior, Archangel Michael. This place is simply riddled with history, albeit a sad one. And you should definitely come here!

And the larger the amount - the wider the smile of the people in this establishment! Two-faced people work here who have come up with a way to take money from other people!!! And no one will ever pity you or sympathize with you here, they only count their daily income!!! Regarding the games - if you take their equipment (namely the machines for distributing cards), then they (the machines) constantly break down and jam. And this has been happening for more than one year. But the casino does not take these machines and does not want to hand out cards to players manually, unless the bet is several times higher than usual!!! What kind of fair play can we talk about??? In addition, the loft-style interior provides a great ambiance for relaxing after a long day. Lastly, the central location makes it easy to access anywhere in town.
Nice little coffee shop in the center, convenient location near the metro. Great coffee and coffee cocktails. Good choice of alternatives. Friendly baristas can make your drink on any kind of milk you like(special thank you for that). Cozy interior makes you never wanna leave. This updated review is based on recent experience in early 2021: This cafe used to be one of the best small shops in Minsk. I enjoy it especially in the summer time because there is an air conditioner to stay cold. It is close to my home, metro station and good businesses. Lost count of how many times I went here in 2020! I recently visited Mesto for the first time in 2021, as this is one of my favorite small coffee shops in Minsk. I walked in and notice several pleasant customers all sitting with either computers or talking, etc. I immediately went to order a cappuccino and a breakfast meal and the female employee with dreadlocks asked me to put a mask on my face. I was lost and offended as to why there was such an odd request. I said no thank you and I walked out immediately. I thought it was especially strange because no customers were engaged in this apparent mask religion thing. I hope that Mesto can return to it's former glory in the near future.

Gorgeous place in the centre! Many tables, unusual desserts and wide range of coffee! Chocolate raf was really tasty and cake with spinach and cheeses was eaten in 5 mins :) Vegetarian options - milk is for 1.50 rubles. Also, you can buy alternate coffee like V60 here. One little thing - restroom. Ridiculously small and without toilet paper 🤷🏼‍♀️ Pay a visit, while in centre, you won't regret.
Ness — Google review
I really like the cafe, coffee is great, desserts are not so interesting, though. The cafe isn't crowded yet and is quite cozy, which makes it a perfect alternative to the well-known cafe Zerno nearby. Moreover, MESTO has a high-speed internet - a great advantage. Update a year later: still a nearly perfect place I love to visit from times to times. Ask for a Citrus Raf, which is superb here. I always ask for one when I am around. While there are many places where you can get a decent cup of coffee in Minsk, this place stands out for its atmosphere and the choice of music.

I love this place. It was the excellent on all fronts: service, comfort and most importantly food. The food was a modern taken on Belarusian classics. The dessert was one of the most memorable interesting I’ve had the pleasure to experience. A Latrice of fried potatoes with ice cream. The contrasts in sweet, sour texture and flavour blew my conventional mind. I finished my 4 courses and went for a fifth, a coffee. The understood what a flat white was and delivered it with the attention of a astute barista. Simply superb.

Were here with a friend on the early morning. We ordered what you can see on the picture: pancakes and waffles+2 cappuccinos. Firstly, what was a good surprise, waitress brought us a bottle of water. A nice compliment from the establishment. The food came in about 7minutes, just from the kitchen. Delicious, if you are a fan of sweet breakfast. This bar also has a good spirits menu, if you want to enjoy something stronger than coffee😉 Quite a unique interior, but unfortunately I don’t have a good picture of it. Good for a meeting with a friend or a small group of people. Would recommend to visit and will do so myself😊

Amazing service, the waiters are extremely polite and attentive, the atmosphere is very pleasant and relaxing. The food was good, served quickly, nicely cooked.
Анастасия Б — Google review
Nice and cozy place. The terrace is very quiet and you have the sun in the end of afternoon. Healthy food, with a nice menu, not many choices and this is good. Inside is clean and big. The tea was really good, with basil, very original. Wine prices are a little expensive, but like many places in Minsk.

When exploring Minsk, don’t miss the vibrant atmosphere of Red Yard, a burgeoning hub for art and music enthusiasts. While it may not yet be an official landmark, this venue is quickly becoming a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Here, you can immerse yourself in a variety of events ranging from lively parties to captivating live performances and thought-provoking cultural lectures. The space also features cozy cafes where you can unwind with a drink or enjoy a light meal while soaking in the artistic ambiance.
Very Nice place to have a walk and take a coffee or a drink
Dana A — Google review
There's a cafe there, but we haven't tryed anything. Just popped in to check the place.
Maria G — Google review
Nice place. It looks unusual and unbasic. Besides, this Yard has cool story. In short, that was a house of Jew and the Jew was very intelligent man. That's why the planning inside is so cool. Then the Jew became problems and this Yard became the symbol of his purchased.

A hidden gem. The restaurant is a great place to have a small bite and relax over a glass of wine too

Nestled in the heart of Minsk, Graffiti Bar & Club stands as a vibrant testament to Belarusian underground culture. This intimate venue exudes an informal charm, where the absence of pretentiousness allows for genuine connections among patrons. Adorned with striking graffiti art, it captures the essence of 90s and early 2000s local scenes.
Unusual place with incredible atmosphere, good drinks (not only beer: by the way, there are craft beer too, but also tee and coffee), unbelievable concerts. One of the best places in Minsk which I always recommend for guests of the city.
Anna — Google review
It is an underground music bar with a capacity of about 20 sitting and 20-30 standing people. Good music, good vibes, good stuff. Though it is not to enjoy a meal or a drink. And they had an issue with toilet ambre going inside for ages.

Good place for Rock-n-Roll, but haven't too much space
Max F — Google review
Great but pretty small place. It's one of few places where you can listen to informal music and great local musicians and singers.

Check this venue for local live shows. Cheap and simple food, average priced drinks, craft beer selection.

Cafe
The cafe My English Granny is a quirky, but cozy place with British influences. The staff are attentive and professional, and the food is great. It's a must-go in Minsk!
Jazz music, a very well thought interior decoration, coat service at the entrance, attentive and very professional service and icing on the cake: Great Food! What more could you need? A must go in Minsk, by all means.
Lorenzo P — Google review
If I could rate my experience as 0 stars I would. As a British person eating in this restaurant I felt embarrassed. The ‘Bacon’ should have been labelled as dripping animal fat. The sausage is not any kind of sausage that should be anywhere near a menu item listed as ‘An English Breakfast’. They said they didn’t have toast, after explaining the concept what materialised can only be described as three day old stale bread! They don’t have English Menus and told me this as they walked away... luckily I had google translate. Coffee was the worst I’ve tasted during my stay and service in general was not good. Avoid this restaurant at all costs, there are far better places to eat in Minsk. Arguably the worst ‘English Breakfast’ I’ve ever experienced and definitely the worst restaurant I’ve been to in Minsk.
David O — Google review
Really lovely, great tea and cake, but be aware that the menu is in local languages only, and none of the staff speak English.
Vilhelm R — Google review
The food was good. The lunch menu didn't have a ton of options but it was sufficient. The main thing that made it uncomfortable for us is that it is not kid friendly. We had to sit at a high table with barstools because they have very limited four-seater tables (2 I think and they were full). No kid menu. Great place to take a date though. Dim lighting, neat decor.
Jamie P — Google review
An amazing restaurant which is hidden from other’s eyes I would say! The food is extremely good and service is one of the very best so far in Minsk. Plus, prices are way less then we expected! Unfortunately didn’t manage to take pics of everything we ordered. Been there several times for breakfast and lunch - big thank to the chef and the writer Natalia (if i am not mistaken) she was very helpful several days we’ve visited the restaurant. This place is a must visit if you are in Minsk - they have inside and outside sitting area with amazing atmosphere. Inside you can connect to WiFi as well. Will definitely be back next time I visit Minsk!
Dasha A — Google review
A very stylish interior of this cozy place (a mixture of Victorian, Edwardian and Georgian styles) and furniture, pictures on the walls and Jeeves-and-Wooster themed menu make you feel at somewhat 1930-s English brasserie. A decent selection of appetizers, salads, and entrees from British and French cuisine completeth the picture of the place. Their beef medallion was very good, but shephard pie and carrot cake proved to be delicious.
Alex K — Google review
Love staff, awesome interior, good wines. Will definitely come back for some food. The menu looks nice. Not pub food, but proper dishes
Stef S — Google review
Place is offering tasty meals. For breakfast I loved tvoroznue pampushki. Just buitifully served. Firs time they were fluffy , airy, and sooo good. But, in two days, we came for pumpushki again. They were done not do good. We cannot swallow them. Maybe place has two different cooks.

Karma, located on vulica Kamsamolskaja, 14, is known as an "easy-bar" that offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The bar provides a feeling of visiting a friend's apartment where you can enjoy pleasant conversations and unique drinks like marshmallow shots. The venue hosts Afro-style parties and film screenings about tattoo history in the evenings. With friendly company and exceptional drinks, Karma creates an ambiance that makes visitors feel at home.
Really good drinks, friendly company I cannot even call these guys “staff” or something, cause the atmosphere is so nice it makes you feel almost like at home👌🏻 The interior is great by the way, adds to the whole picture. Would definitely visit again and would recommend visiting if you’re looking forward to spending a good night.

Best bar in town!!! Great drinks! They do some twists on classical cocktails that até really good! The spicy negroni is a must have! Besides, the staff and the public is really friendly!! We met many locals and stayed until It almost closed!! Must go If you are looking for Nice cocktails in a hipster kind of bar

Authentic underground art post-modern something bar. They have exhibitions of local artists there. Very special public and lots of owner's friends. Prices are pretty much like everywhere around. Not so cheap.

Great place whose creators are the coolest barmen in Minsk, I think. Here you'll experience visual art and art of beverage drinks. Outstanding atmosphere with special music and video selected by hosts for broadening your mind.

Unsure If they actually are able to make cocktails. Menu is in Belerusian and the barkeepers translations was drinks with coke, juice and gin. Our safe GT was so simpel everyone could make it. Atmosphere was very good.

Chinese restaurant
Tan Chao is a spacious Chinese restaurant located in Minsk, offering a 50-page menu with large portions and slightly high prices. The establishment was founded by Tan Chao himself after struggling to find decent Chinese food in the area. Despite its neutral ambiance, the restaurant serves authentic and delicious Chinese cuisine, with attentive staff and reasonable prices considering the generous portion sizes.
Unusual tasty food, but be careful because of size of meal, so huge!!! ))
Юлия Л — Google review
As usually, felt super full after Chinese food which appeared to be very delicious in this place. The staff is very attentive. Apparently this place is really huge in terms of space but it wasn’t full on a working day eve. Reasonable prices specially considering that all dishes are extremely generous. You can easily share each of them The ambiance is too neutral, not really cozy.
Elisar K — Google review
Great aubergines and rice cooked just right. A bit too much chilli though, to my taste. Pleasant staff. Also Tsingtao beer sold here.
Pavel K — Google review
Foods r good! But I don’t little like the fried noodles
NYI L — Google review
The food is average, but generally too oily. A nice Asian dish does not need to drip oil. The ambience is frankly a little too "electric". Also, there was a pungent smell which we didn't quite figure whether it was coming from freshly repainted walls or the synthetic leather covers of the menus. Lastly, the waiters and waitresses appeared to be clearly overwhelmed, with frequent mistakes in dishes served and, at least in our case, the final bill, which had to be corrected.
Giorgio B — Google review
Amazing food, pleasant and fast service.
Drill G — Google review
I went there to have lunch. Food is good, tasty, juicy, price wise - low to very high depending on what you take. I guess in dislikes I will be very subjective: 1) Plastic plates is a big no for me when I done in restaurants 2) Interior wise is very simple and too much green. 3) Service was okay accept a lady who nearly yelled at our waiter for seating us in restaurant, not in bistro area
Kasper H — Google review
Authentic Chinese food, decent service. Many dishes are pretty expensive, though, and some of the waiters are still adjusting to the rules of the place. Pretty much the same level as all other Chinese food restaurants in Minsk.

Fast food restaurant
MonkeyFood is a fully vegan restaurant located on Vulica Kastrycnickaja, an alternative street in Minsk known for its street art and bars. The menu offers a variety of options including falafel wraps, soups, burgers, and sweet pies. While some patrons found the potato wedges to be lacking, others praised the creamy soups and flavorful burgers. The portions are described as small but reasonably priced.
Great little vegan snack shack. Friendly and super fast service. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend trying it, even if you’re not vegan because you maybe surprised by how good you feel after eating here.
Alex E — Google review
MonkeyFood is not perfect --- the potato wedges lean towards the microwave to eat frozen products. But the soups are texturally as creamy as you could ever want and jam packed with flavor and the burgers perfectly presented and augmented. This is great unapologetic Vegan food. Go there.
Adam K — Google review
Traditional falafel is ok. Coffee isn’t coffee at all. U get cappuccino AND espresso if u we’re to ask flat white :) Rude personal if u speak russian but super nice if english. Service is close to b rude. Avoid. Sorry guys two stars for the try
