Sligo Abbey is a 13th-century friary featuring Renaissance carvings, a well-preserved cloister, and a sculptured 1400s altar. It's a religious site with historic significance. In the surrounding area, visitors can explore Carrowmore, an ancient Neolithic site with over 30 megalithic tombs dating back to approximately 3700-2900 BCE.
Great ruins of an Abbey. Nice literature for a self-guided tour. Quick stop and worth the time of you're going through Sligo. OPW site, so free if you bought the pass (highly recommend).

A beautiful abby in the middle of the city. We came here with a few friends, and although we didn't bring any ID we were allowed in with discounted fare. That was very friendly and nice of the people who worked there that day. The structure was very beautiful, but it wasn't as big as we thought it too be. Also, we weren't or couldn't go up the tower. Next to that, it was very cool to see the old structure of the building though, walking through those corridors. Would I come back a next time? No, most likely not. But would I recommend you to go and take a look yourself? For the 3 euros entrance fee, absolutely, and I believe it is something very cool to see and view, and enlarge your history knowledge through this! It wasn't very busy, but then again, it was a regular weekday, and there were like 2 other couples walking around.

Very well kept Abbey. Staff were so friendly and very entertaining for the kids. Heritage week was great and a must visit in Sligo.
Sonette W — Google review
This is a wonderful historical landmark very well preserved. The self guided tour is very inexpensive and quite informative, with a map and text that explains the site. There is inexpensive parking conveniently located right across the street. Definitely recommend to anyone staying in or passing through Sligo.
Jason V — Google review
A great old ruin to see, great info from the staff. If you plan to see a bunch of old castles and sites buy an OPW card it is cheap and then you get free entry and no line ups to many sites. I am touching the carved symbol of twisted rope, which is supposed to be good luck if you touch it and if you find it. From the outside of the Abbey, it doesn’t look like there’s much to see, but there’s lots of details inside especially all the carved columns many are different and have their own special meanings.
Don L — Google review
Lovely to walk through, very interesting, and the map and page of information the folks working hand out was very helpful. We purchased tickets inside day-of with no issue.
Taylor M — Google review
Nice, historic place. Just keep in mind that it is a ruin without roof or proper walls, meaning you might get wet and cold ;-) Anyway, the friendly staff will lend you an umbrella if need be.

Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery in Sligo, Ireland is the largest megalithic cemetery in the country and one of the most significant in Europe. It features stone circles, passage tombs, and dolmens, making it a rich historical site. The ongoing archaeological excavations add to its fascination as new monuments are discovered and clues about its deeper meaning are pieced together.
Very interesting archeological site, located on an open field. Structures date back to a period 6000-8000 B.C. and are located just outside Sligo, on a rural area. The visitor center is staffed with very helpful people and provides for toilets and an outdoor cafe.
Roberto B — Google review
I confirm Sam's information, the big cairn and the dolmens on the field are visitable, only the Visitor Center is closed. Theoretically it should be opened soon. I guess that the toilet was not in use when we visited the site, but a young guy offered fresheners, cafe, beverages and some snacks.
Kollár E — Google review
Very interesting place. Don’t miss the circles etched in stone. It’s a walking tour on your own. It’ll be great when the centre is open and someone to explain it all.
MARY S — Google review
Cathedrals and Castles are wonderful, but walking around a Megalithic cemetery gave me such a feeling of wonder. To see how these rocks were arranged over 6000 years ago and to read about the kilos of cremated remains conn me to my roots in Ire.
Patty R — Google review
There wasn't much to it. I normally like historical sites, but there wasn't really anything to see. The new center is supposed open soon. I could see displays inside, but I couldn't enter. It might be fantastic once the OPW officially opens the building.

This place is amazing. It's about one thousand to fifteen hundred years older than the pyramids. It appears, it was some kind of a burial ground. It's well worth seeing truly is amazing

Highly recommend a stop here. Can spend as long or as little as you wish walking around the site. Easy/free parking and 5€ admission. Cleanest bathrooms!

Museums
The Model, located near Sligo city centre, is a leading contemporary art centre and gallery. It houses The Niland Collection, featuring over 300 works by renowned artists like Jack B. Yeats and Louis Le Brocquy. Visitors can explore various exhibits showcasing local and international artists throughout the year. Additionally, the venue offers a bookshop, cafe, digital cinema, artist studio with town views, and performing arts space for a well-rounded cultural experience.
Brilliant contemporary art gallery in Sligo, that's free to visit. It houses the Niland collection, which focuses on the artist Jack B Yeats. The gallery has art exhibitions, performing art events and talks throughout the year. There's cafe, cinema and a shop in the building.
John B — Google review
This free art gallery also has a little cinema inside that shows short movies from small artists. It’s a nice place to relax for sure as they have comfortable couches and a café. I had a lovely talk with Tom, a volunteer at the art gallery, who gave me a lot of interesting background information on the paintings and painters. Could listen to him talk for hours!
Leonie — Google review
Beautiful building, Jack B Yeats exhibition was made so interesting by a Volunteer who gave us so much background information (sorry I didn't get your name, man in blue jumper, Thanks so much). Other exhibitions also excellent. It's free
Joan B — Google review
Place is located just outside the main town, a bit of walk and small hike. Entrance is free. Mainly contemporary art but we were there for the work of Jack Butler Yeats. Other than a gallery, there's a nice cafe and lounge for resting. Good place to stop for a quick rest while going around Sligo
Nee H — Google review
Brilliant exhibitions. Fab building. Shop could have more stuff. Café options limited. Kids room was great. Well worth a visit.
Nuala O — Google review
Beautiful building, great exhibits, well worth a visit.
Emer F — Google review
Art work was lovely. Chose this place as lifts meaning easy access to levels and lots to see indoors. Sadly lifts not working and only one exhibition area open. Free but was looking forward to spending few hours here, sadly not enough to see and lifts being out of order made the flight of stairs quite difficult over 15 fairtly steep stairs with no chairs at the top to rest. I think if I was coming again I'd call ahead to check everything was open and available. Parking is €3 for the day.
Nat M — Google review
Not open on a Monday but worth a visit and one of the largest collections of Yeats paintings. Free to enter

Historical society
Architectural Buildings
Yeats Society Sligo is a literary haven that offers an exhibit on Yeats' life, a reference library, gallery, and a charming cafe. Situated in the beautiful 19th-century red brick building on Sligos Stephens Street, by the River Garavogue, it serves as a base for Yeats enthusiasts from around the world. The center hosts a summer school annually and features year-round exhibitions and films celebrating Yeats' life and work.
Through the Yeats Society, I went on a deluxe tour of many of the sites throughout Sligo County that are associated with Yeats' poems. The director was lovely, generous, and we had a fun and informative day. Sligo County is beautiful, and this is one good way to explore some of it and learn a bit of its important literary history. After the day of outdoor touring, we ended with a little tour of the Yeats Society building and its many amazing Yeats family artifacts. I loved it!
Kristen G — Google review
This is a great starting place to learn about Yeat’s connection with County Sligo. With further research and the app, you could go far. The staff were exceptionally helpful and kind.
David — Google review
Everybody was so helpful & welcoming and the exhibition was fascinating, I also loved beautiful wall paintings. Highly recommend a visit!
El — Google review
I visited here just because I like Yeats, but I was quite disappointed with the experience. Just because there isn’t much to do here 😅 They have a small hall showcasing practically nothing. The room above was still good. We did experience the art gallery as well and it was nice. Maybe it was an expectation mid-match. I went in with high hopes … It hardly took us 15-20 mins there and we were out in a jiffy.
Akash T — Google review
Only reviewing the cafe here as haven't used the other parts of the building. Great little stop off cafe, coffees, snacks they also serve some alcohol. Best thing bout this little spot is they are open a little later than regular cafes so if your waiting for a bus connection it's perfect to stop off sit down n have a coffee if you don't want to go to a bar for example. Got a takeaway mulled wine🤣 no complaints. Have books n board games have local art on the walls. Haven't tried their food. But pop in such a handy wee spot.

Had a guided tour of William Butler Yeats Museum in Sligo Town & visited the Hyde gallery upstairs with an exhibition of many artists W.B.Yeats Daughter amongst them Anne. Most enjoyable & informative !!

I am certain the gallery / exhibition is excellent but I am here right now at 4:36pm and they said they are closed!!?? Reason being “they sometimes just close early”!!?? I beg your pardon? A somewhat angry message from someone who took a 6.5 hour flight and 3 hour train to get here. Not apologizing for my attitude.

Tiny place with very limited exposition. The building is lovely itself and there was a very interesting exhibition upstairs.

Located in Sligo, the Sligo County Museum is a captivating destination that offers free entry to visitors. The museum boasts an array of exhibits and displays that delve into the rich history of the area. Visitors can explore stone-age artifacts, including ancient tools and crafts discovered in the region, as well as a remarkable 100-year-old firkin of bog butter. The Yeats Room showcases manuscripts and letters from the renowned W.B. Yeats, adding a literary dimension to the museum's offerings.
Sadly I was only visiting Sligo for the day but was interested to find out about Sligo because my grandparents were born there . I arrived at the museum only ten minutes before it closed at lunchtime! Oh but the lovely kind lady actually gave me two beautiful books as a gift I was so overcome it was incredibly kind of her . I read one book last night absolutely fascinating!! The second book is for my next evening read ! I’m sorry I missed your museum but I promise to return one day !! Thank you so so much !!
Fran G — Google review
Fascinating little free museum jam packed with information and exhibits relating to County Sligo. The displays are a bit old fashioned, but it's worth taking time at each one. There's wonderful exhibits about the great Irish figures of William Butler Yeats, Countess Markievicz and her sister Eva Gore Booth. It's a very small museum and probably not going to interest young children, but it promotes all that's good and great about Sligo. The museum closes for lunch, so plan your visit accordingly.

Free and very interesting. A bit of everything in a few rooms

Small museum, only 3 rooms. We saw no photo signs but some people took photos. Quick and free and right next to the library. Parking: Street Cost: Free Bathrooms: No/unsure Walkways: Indoors, narrow. Time spent: 20 minutes Kid friendly: Sorta, most stuff in cases but some things they could touch and damage so be mindful. Not ideal for buggys/strollers
Randi C — Google review
Very interesting, small museum, can be visited free of charge. Google Maps opening hours are false, the actual one is attached.
Kollár E — Google review
A very nice museum with the staff’s very knowledgeable and friendly explanation of the collection of history and people (especially about WB Yeats and family). Free entry.

A small museum with an eclectic collection and friendly staff. The museum is quite small, only comprising a few rooms. The collection is all things related to Sligo. Due to the space constraints many of the exhibits are right beside each other and not grouped by period. However, the staff make this museum, and if you ask the curators questions they will give in-depth and fascinating stories about the artefacts and the area. It is well worth a visit.

Hooked Restaurant in Sligo offers a romantic dining experience with artisan, locally sourced food. The restaurant is known for its high-quality seafood and other dishes made from fresh ingredients. It's a great place to enjoy a delicious meal while visiting Sligo. Additionally, the area boasts several other top-rated restaurants and bakeries that offer a variety of culinary delights, making it an ideal destination for food enthusiasts.
Hooked Restaurant was a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, with fast and efficient service that made everything seamless. The chicken tenders with their signature sauce were a standout, perfectly crispy and full of flavor and the chicken burger was equally delicious. The ambience was modern and inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy a relaxed and satisfying meal. Highly recommended!
Sanito P — Google review
As seen on TikTok, is what you see on the menu, and written on many things. Now, we didn't see the food on TikTok before coming to this place. We did book, before coming, but it wasn't that busy for a regular dinner service and there were enough seats left for people to come in, if they wanted to. Now, we wanted to try all the recommended food, so we ordered them all, the fried chicken, the loaded fries, the fish and chips. Now I have to say, I wasn't impressed by the food at all. While being the the restaurant, I watched several of the videos on TikTok, and people described it as it is the food you should absolutely have. My question remains, what happened? Did I get an unlucky day? Or did the cook have a bad day? The chicken was dry, not moist at all. Flavour was fine, but you still want the juices to be good. The loaded fries, it wasn't loaded. And the fish and chips, certainly not the amount I would normally see on a plate. I was rather disappointed after the fact that I read about the 'as seen on TikTok' and the food just being average. Now, if I would have seen the videos of tiktok before, I would have come and tried the food. But I am not really impressed by it. The sizes of the food, very little. If you have a dish called loaded fries, it should be loaded, and not have 4 pieces of chicken and a few fries and then call it loaded. We could easily eat 3 dishes per person, and still finish another dessert afterwards. As for the service, it wasn't busy in the restaurant at all, and yet it was just dinner time. The waiters had no idea what they were doing, they kept going back to one colleague who could answer our questions. We had the idea there were multiple new waiters working that particular day and therefore, although you have 3 wakfers walking around, none of them had any knowledge on the menu or the food ingredients or allergies. A bit pity, also, despite the fact that you have more colleagues working, it would take rather long to get your newly ordered drinks. I do not want to be complaining about the people as everyone always tries their best. The amount of times taking our drink order wrong, or even forgetting it, was something that is mention able. But like written, maybe they had all new employees that day. The atmosphere is great though, the restaurant looks good! Very cosy, and good looks, I like it very much. The biggest question is, would I recommend this place? For the food? No, I wouldn't, just average food, for an average price. For the service, nothing in particular. For the place, good location, good relaxing place, meeting interesting other customers. It could have been me, maybe I didn't see the viral videos on this restaurant yet...
Lukas X — Google review
Lovely afternoon buzz about the place and very pleasant staff who were attentive and polite. Unfortunately the food didn’t keep the pace. Dirty fries were very poorly cooked frozen chips with 4 small pieces of frozen goujon scattered on top and a smidgen of peanut sauce. Looked better than it tasted.
Andrew B — Google review
Great food here. Welcomed by all friendly staff. Lots of food options to choose from. Food was fresh, warm and tasted great! Highly recommended!

On a visit to Sligo I was looking for a dinner recommendation and Hooked was mentioned. It did not disappoint! I had the Korean Chicken main for dinner and a fabulous cocktail. The restaurant has a gorgeous vibe, the staff are fantastic and not hovering over you either. The tables are not on top of each other so there is lots of room. I will definitely return the next time I'm in Sligo
Ann-Marie F — Google review
Roughly 6:15PM and already hungry, went to Hooked as recommended by someone. Very few people in the restaurant. Had to wait to be seated, the young waiter had to asked his manager, twice. First, because I haven't booked, was asked to go outside (sorry I'm from south of France, it was too chilly for me to seat and eat in the shade) and a second time to report to him my answer. So, he let me get the table just beside the door and asked for me to leave before 7:20PM. Of course, I'm here for a quick bite and I'm alone and have no one to talk to, so yep I will be quick. Finished my (very tasty) korean friend chicken in less than 30mn, had to see the manager greet every table except mine. Had to witness 2 groups (3 and 5 people) be seated without booking with lot of ease. Had to wait 10mn after asking the young waiter for the bill ... I did my part but Hooked didn't. Never felt as unwelcomed as in here. I was so upset and disappointed, I left the restaurant crying... not my first time alone in a restaurant in Ireland, not my first time as I solo-traveled in Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium... and twice already in Ireland in various cities and counties (Dublin, Galway, Cork, Killarney, Dingle...). Not recommended for solo travellers.

As soon as we stepped inside, I was immediately taken by the stunning environment and elegant decorations that perfectly set the mood for a memorable dining experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with every detail thoughtfully placed to create a charming ambiance. While the service was a bit slower than expected, it didn’t overshadow the wonderful time we had. Among the dishes we ordered, the Bang Bang Chicken was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor, and the Fish and Chips was equally impressive, crisp and perfectly cooked. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and despite the slight delay in service, the fantastic food and beautiful decor made it truly enjoyable. Wishing the restaurant continued success!

Restaurant
Eala Bhan is a relaxed restaurant located in the heart of Sligo Town, specializing in locally caught seafood and prime steaks. The charismatic owner, Anthony Gray, has turned his dream into reality with this establishment. The restaurant has won numerous awards, including best restaurant in Connacht. Its cool urban brasserie bistro decor and well-spaced tables create a welcoming ambiance.
If I could give this restaurant 12 out of 10, I would. The food (all locally sourced) was absolutely delicious and the presentation was gorgeous. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. They have a great selection of whiskey. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and we were fortunate enough to get a table by the window looking out onto the river. Although quite pricey, they serve 5 star food that is definitely value for money, especially the pre-theatre menu (from 17:00-18:20). This was our favourite restaurant in Sligo!
Ashleigh P — Google review
A fantastic meal by the river side in wonderful Sligo, fitting given the name inclusive of swans meandering downstream on arrival. We enjoyed an absolute fantastic meal full of bountiful and locally sourced flavours. A pleasure in all. The only downside was the portion size being on the large size, fit for a burly Irish farmer of which I am unfortunately not. This widely celebrated restaurant has the Michelin Guide firmly in its sights and with a modernised, yet charming interior refit and streamlining of an already spectacularly organic and native produce this restaurant will secure the right praise at a higher level. Thank you, we will return.

Disclaimer: I received no incentive or kickback for this review. My family and I had a wonderful tea this afternoon. Even before our reservation, Anthony reached out to make sure there were no dietary restrictions or allergies. Upon arrival, the staff had our table ready, with a highchair by the front window. Our waitress was top notch and quickly brought us a beautiful spread of tea, coffee, sandwiches and treats. It was a very special treat for us. We would happily eat here again in the future! 10/10

Eclectic restaurant
Coach Lane Restaurant @ Donaghy's Bar is a charming and popular spot in Sligo, established since 1994. The restaurant offers a diverse menu featuring seafood, steaks, and pasta. The downstairs bar provides a relaxed atmosphere with red-checkered tablecloths and serves comforting dishes like fish pie and beef-and-Guinness stew.
An absolute gem! We ate at the Coach Lane Grill and Pub on a Monday evening and we will definitely be back. The staff are extremely friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. My husband had the Best Burger Ever and I had the Yummy Fisherman’s Pie. The dishes’ names really set one’s expectations high but they most certainly did not disappoint. Great atmosphere and a wide selection of drinks.

Absolutely spectacular!!! This bread was the best bread I've ever tasted. It was even better than anything I've ever made myself. I can't believe how good it was. The lamb shank was very tasty and the carrot and parsnip puree was out of this world. I'm not usually a fan of puree, but this was fantastic. The hot red cabbage was a nice balance to the lamb shank, potatoes mash and gravy. I must say, this place gets 5 stars from me!!!

Visited with my sister and fiance and I have to say 10/10 no notes at all. I was stuck between two wines they brought a taster of both. I ordered steak rare got it perfectly rare served with mash, baked potatoes, creamed carrots and pickled red cabbage absolutely delicious didn't finish it all. Despite being busy the server was diligent and checked in at all the right intervals I can say expensive as it was the quality and service was UNMATCHED would happily pay the same money again in a heartbeat but would go in hungrier next time so as to try their dessert menu

Great spot! We've been a couple of times already and plan on going back. The restaurant was closed in January, but the food at the pub is also great! I had the chicken parmigiana and it was delicious, the breast was perfectly breaded and still moist, which is no easy feat. It was laid on a bed of pasta and well made tomato sauce, and covered with cheese. I loved the detail that they give you a spoon for the linguini, which in many places (even Italian ones) I have to ask for in order to eat it properly. The fish pie had a lovely filling and sauce, and the apple pie for dessert was scrumptious. The day was cold, but the place was warm and had a lovely fireplace on. Espresso Martini was well made. Definitely recommend!

Gastropub
Located in Sligo, Ireland, Hargadon Bros is a historic pub established in 1868. The pub features wood-paneled snugs, stone floors, clay jugs, and bottled alcoves that create a charming atmosphere. Known for its flawless preservation and warm ambiance in the afternoons, Hargadon Bros is popular among locals and visitors alike. The pub offers delicious locally sourced food and a friendly staff.
We stayed in Sligo for three days, and this was our favorite pub. There's just something about it that made us feel right at home. Brooding and cozy at the same time, perhaps? :) The first time we were there we ordered a charcuterie board w/ cheese and garlic/cheese fries. Loved it and came back for the second time the next day, and I got to try their strawberry feta salad and their pecan coffee mouse. The next time we're Sligo, that's where we will go for dinner.

Outstanding meal. The honey and lime baked salmon was delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the peas and carrots were crisp and fresh. The spinach and parmesan salad was a small side but fresh as well. Pecan coffee mousse was light and flavourful. Service was attentive and the atmosphere was very cozy. All around great experience.

Amazing atmosphere with live music. Very kind staff. The pub has a very cool traditional wooden interior. We even got a separate dining room if that's what you want. The lamb stew was amazing. I just would have liked a bit more mashed patatoes in it. It was pretty busy, so if you are a bif group, I would recommend making a reservation beforehand. They immediately offered us a free bottle of cold tap water, which was very convenient. They have baby portions, which are a very nice thing to have. Especially if you have a baby so you don't have to share. I would definitely recommend this place when visiting Slego!

Delicious meal and fast service! Really enjoyed the seafood chowder and brown bread.
Claudia F — Google review
It was recommended for food by another bar in Sligo, but my husband's hake, mashed potatoes and snap peas a disappointment. Hake dry and mushy, poatoes over whipped and snap peas were big pods, peas past their best. I had mussels and they were delicios a whole kilogram. Waiter could be more attentive. Atmosphere dark and seating very uncomfortable for dining.

Their menu offers a variety of options, from specialty beef and chicken burgers to delicious salads and vegetarian choices.
Best burger and milkshakes in Sligo! ⭐ Flipside is a must-visit! The burger was juicy, flavour-packed, and cooked just right, and the fries were perfectly crispy. We also had their milkshakes – creamy, indulgent, and the perfect sweet treat to pair with the meal. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back!

We took 2 burgers that were excellent, sorry they weren't bigger! we took fries that were good, but for 2 it's a little bit just if you're hungry. the sundae were good, a little too "chemical" for the strawberry but it was even hearty, perfect to satisfy us but it took a dessert ! I recommend

I wanted to like it more than I did. The service and the atmosphere are nice. The burgers are on the sweeter side, and the portions are underwhelming for the price. The relish overpowers everything else in one of the burgers. The fries were decent, but again, way too small of a portion.

It’s a beautiful burger joint !! I am glad we bumped into this place while in Sligo. The interiors are pretty amazing - very vibrantly lit and decorated !! The staff were very cordial, active, and kind. They did their best to make sure that we are comfortable and enjoying our dinner. We are vegetarians so ordered both the veg burgers - gamechanger and pesto AND one of the salads - pesto. Everything was delicious and freshly cooked. We really liked the taste. Just a small feedback regarding the salad - it will be great if we can make it more healthy (since it’s salad), with less sauces and salt 😅 But that’s maybe a personal preference. Overall we really liked the place and would strongly recommend it to anyone who’s in Sligo. Will visit again :) Thank you 🙌🙏

We dropped by Flipside Burgers in Sligo after hearing loads of hype 🔥. While the vibes were immaculate — think cool tunes, friendly staff, and a laid-back atmosphere 🎶🍔 — the food didn’t quite live up to the buzz. We ordered the Dictator burger and the Gamechanger from the veggie section 🌱. They looked great, but taste-wise, they were just okay — not the best burgers we’ve had. For the price, it was a bit disappointing that fries had to be ordered separately 🍟💸. On the bright side, their house-crafted beer was a standout 🍺 — smooth, flavorful, and definitely worth trying if you're into local brews. It’s the kind of place where you’d go more for the hangout than the food. Overall, Flipside is a solid spot for a chill evening with friends, especially if you’re into craft beer and good vibes ✨. Just don’t expect a burger revelation.

Flipside in Sligo isn't just another burger joint; it's a destination. We dropped by Flipside Burgers in Sligo after hearing loads of hype 🔥.This award-winning spot, which snagged the "Best Burger in Ireland" title in 2021, lives up to its serious reputation with exceptional food and a vibrant, feel-good atmosphere. While the vibes were immaculate — think cool tunes, friendly staff, and a laid-back atmosphere 🎶🍔 — the food didn’t quite live up to the buzz. From the moment you walk in, the energy is palpable, with upbeat music and a bright, modern dining room. The menu is a masterclass in burger craft, built on a foundation of high-quality, locally sourced meat. Classic beef options are juicy and perfectly cooked, but the creativity truly shines in their other offerings. "The Dictator," a buttermilk-fried chicken burger with fiery gochujang mayo, is a standout, delivering a flawless combination of crunch and heat. They also earns high marks for its inclusive menu. Vegetarians and vegans are genuinely catered for with inventive options like "The Gamechanger," which features a black bean pattyWe ordered the Dictator burger from the non vegetarian section and the Gamechanger from the veggie section 🌱. They both looked great, but taste-wise, they were just okay nothing so special that you would love to for more and more — atleast not the best burgers we’ve had. For the price, it was a bit disappointing that fries had to be ordered separately as it doesn't come along with the burger🍟💸. On the bright side, their house-crafted beer was a standout 🍺 — smooth, flavorful, and definitely worth trying if you're into local brews. It’s the kind of place where you’d go more for the hangout than the food. Overall, Flipside is a solid spot for a chill evening with friends, especially if you’re into craft beer and good vibes ✨ An honest review from someone who is more into food and vibe than drinks 💯

This wasn't food. This was poetry. We came here two nights in a row, after being hooked on night 1. It is a burger restaurant, not some chique place. There are chicken, beef and vegetarian options, various kinds of fries and the most delicious korean chicken wings. Portion sizes are very genereous and denfinitely worth the money! Everything is delicious. Now to the staff and the manager: gorgeous! Everyone is nice, positive, forthcoming... you get in a happy mood as soon as you arrive just because of the lovely staff! It's a pity we won't be able to come here more often. For everyone visiting Sligo: this is an absolute must-go if you love burgers ❤️❤️❤️ Ps: THOSE KOREAN WINGS!!
