Vathi has several places to eat/drink. Beautiful, sparkly sand beach. We enjoyed our time spent here at this hypnotic spot
Real Greek flavor with tavernas on the beach and quiet and laid back vibe
Nice beach with shallow water and sand. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and 2 beach bars that I don’t recommend because of the high prices on sun beds. It’s better to sit on the beach since there are plenty of trees for shade.
The bay is undeniably beautiful, offering stunning views and a pleasant walking experience. While the sea is enjoyable, we found the beach bars to be underwhelming—overpriced (35€ for two) with nothing particularly special. However, the highlight of our visit was dinner at one of the local restaurants during sunset, which made for a memorable experience. Overall, the bay is best enjoyed as an afternoon activity rather than for its beachside amenities.
Vathi Beach has incredible views, refreshing water, and nice sand. There are several places to get food and drink as well as sun bathing chairs. Or you can simply put down a towel. Parking is a breeze and close. Just so you are aware, nudity it allowed. That aside, the harbor/cove acts as a wind breaker of sorts for the relentless wind the Island of Sifnos experiences. So, sit and enjoy a relaxing afternoon as you soak up the sun on a beautiful Mediterranean Beach and enjoy watching the sail boats moving in and out of the harbor.
Great views of a huge bay with a narrow entrance formed by two cliffs. This beach looks as awesome from the top as it does from right next to the water. It has fine sand, tree shade, great spots for sunbathing as well as sunbed facilities and restaurants. All in all it might be the best beach in Sifnos.
The perfect quaint beach. The kind you don't want anyone else to find out about. Sun chairs and umbrellas are at the far end from where the bus stop path leads, for 6€ for the day.
The beach is clean and beautiful. Perfect for a quiet sun filled day on the sand.

Beautiful beach with warm water and hotels/restaurants. A trail on the beach up the rocks leads to another gorgeous beach, with spectacular views from atop! We came in late September so it wasn’t very crowded. 2 chairs plus umbrella rent for 40E a day.
Nice and quite beach! We found sunbeds easy enough and the prices were affordable!

An experience of its own. A wonderful church built on top of a rock that offers a wonderful experience and has a lot of lores and tales to tell! ❤️ You can also opt for taking a swim besides as there are certain rock formations that allow for that. The church itself is wonderful both outside and inside. There is a free parking space right before it.
Lovely church, the best on the island. Can be visited inside, which is often an exception on the islands. Worth the visit.
5 stars are not enough. Trully amazing view! The church is not big, but it is clean and very welcoming. The waters around the church are crystal clear. It is perfect for a quick visit, before or after your swimm!
Beautiful church overlooking Chrisopigi beach. You walk like in a dream along the path to the sea. A gem and a must see. The beach nearby is really nice with transparent and clean waters. You can walk/swim quite far until it gets deep. Perfect for families with kids.
A beautiful church with a lovely vibe! We didn’t go inside because there was a wedding, but you can enjoy a great view from afar. There’s a nice walk that leads down to a nearby beach, which is absolutely amazing. A couple of parking spots are available, making it convenient. Perfect spot for a mix of sightseeing and beach time!
Sheer natural beauty together with a tiny place for meditation in front of the new and interesting icon of Mother Mary (unique in the name of Chrisopigi). Unexpected bonus a great spot for adventurous swimming and discovery. Great food at the tavern next to the nearby beach.
The monastery is at the very edge of the cape with a classical Aegean-cycladic architectural style.
Beautiful church, the walk from Fassolou Beach takes about 30 minutes and is absolutely worth it !

One of the best beaches for relaxing! We went to this specific spot twice in two days. Just laying there without a care in the world. The trees offer great shade and the water is shallow for the first metre or two and then it’s deeper than 1.6. There are like most places in Greece, cats which do come and say hello by curling up in your towel. But they are very well behaved. There are nearby cafes and restaurants. And the island bus system drops you at the top of the road, and it’s just a short walk around the promenade to the beach. Truly wonderful!
During our stay in Sifnos, Βλυχό turned out to be the best beach for us ! Quiet location easily accessible, clear water (that is given to the island) and enough trees to take advantage of shadows if you don't have your own umbrella. A must visit !
Nice beach, only about 130 strides long; not a secluded type beach but picturesque, easy to get to, has shade trees.
Simply the best as Tina turner would say all dishes were amazing and service was spot on. The atmosphere at sunset is beautiful watching the water and enjoying the delights
Simply amazing. Calm water, super clean and clear - and you can get spots on the beach with actual trees providing shade. One of the best beaches we have been to in all of Greece, and those have been many.
Crystal clear waters. You sit on the shadow of the trees and relax at the amazing beach. The water is refreshing. The waters turn green around the surface, as they are so clean.
A wonderful small bay with beautiful water, not deep ideal for children and plenty of shadow for everyone, thanks to the trees. Really beautiful sandy beach. You can also reach Chryssopigi by the trail next to the beach.
If you want to visit Vlycho Beach, keep in mind that you'll need to drive to Faros Beach public parking first. From there, you can walk on your right side until you find the pathway located under the Thalatta rooms. Tips: Beautiful small cove, with plenty of trees for shade, quite sheltered from the wind.

Beautiful church in Kastro. Walking through the village of Kastro was also beautiful as you head towards the water. Lots of steps to get to the church but gorgeous views of the cliffs and clear blue water. Railing the entire way down the trail. Beautiful view points the entire way even if you do not go right to the church. We came right after sunrise and had the trail to ourselves. A must do when in Kastro.
Beautiful descending walk to see this castle. At the bottom we enjoyed the rocky beach and it was one of our favorite experiences. It was quiet and not too many people which was perfect for us. The panoramic view was out of this world and made for great moments of zen and self reflection. I truly felt at peace and ease here. The climb back up was the perfect workout. You can enjoy a beverage at Diporto shop or konaki afterward.
Small church surrounded on three sides by the raging surf of the sea and accessible via narrow stone steps up from Kastro's South East facing exterior walls. The trek takes about 5 to 10 minutes from the top of the exterior wall path to the church if you walk at a measured pace and take in the sights and sounds of the sea. Would not recommend for anyone with hip, knee or mobility issues. We were there on a particularly windy day and the wind was strong enough to blow any hat or glasses right off one's head. Breathtaking.
Must visit! One of the most beautiful spots on the island! Best time to visit late afternoon.
A small church at the end of the path that goes through the area of Kastro. You can visit it during sunset hours for peak scenery for pictures. It is quite crowded at that time, but everyone was polite in my experience.
Lovely to see from Kastro. Steep descend. The church can only be seen from the outside. Go and visit Kastro at late afternoon and have a drink at Loggia.
Absolutely breathtaking view of this hilltop church overlooking the ocean. Only a very short walk down a relatively steep set of stairs to get all the way down and hardly anyone here even in the height of summer. If this near perfect spot was on another island like Santorini it would be mobbed at all times. Truly beautiful. Parking in Kastro is very limited, if you cannot find a spot on the incline towards the top of the town you may need to park in the parking area at the bottom but it’s very walkable but quite steep. Wander through the nearby Cycladic homes and laneways around for a nearly empty and unobstructed view of the town even I. Summer on a weekend.
Amazingggg but go there not too late (like 7/7.40) or it’s full of wannabe instagram stars.

Very nice, go there early because it gets crowded - not because there are too many people but because it’s very small.
Lovely and charming little harbor with a great atmosphere. However, the beach is very small and parking is quite limited.
We were im Sifnos 2 weeks ago and it was all windy that was not possible to swim with big waves but this beach was kind of protected and not with waves. It is a small nice beach where free parking lot is small so go early. There is no beach club and there are small cafes, taverns around the beach. It is quite to chill out in Sifnos
The beach itself is not very nice. It has some trees that offer shadow but the sand is the one that sticks literally everywhere! But the waters are truly great and the scenery is beautiful! You can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, canoeing, SUP, and at when you are hungry to eat there some fresh fish and seafood.
Lovely small beach with fine dark sand. 2 restaurants and a mini market, all you need for a chilled experience.
Amazing beach, amazing walking trail to the church on the top of the hill and AMAZING tavern (the one that is on the right hand side when you look to the sea. It’s easy, there are only two taverns!
A great beach to visit! About 20 minutes from Kamares it is an excellent option 📍. It was about two taverns for lunch or dinner with one of them offering breakfast options. You wont find sunbeds here so either be prepared to lie on the sand or grab a seat at the nearest tavern.
A small, quiet beach with two places to eat and drink. Small harbor. Pebbly beach. Serene and beautiful.

We rented a Citroen for 5 days while on Sifnos. The car was great for getting around the island. Had no problems going up and down the hills. Plus you’re on island time, no need for a fast car to speed around in. Spiros was super helpful from start to end. We highly recommend Sifnos Travel!
Arrived at the port and booked a Suzuki ignis on the spot for a great price. Super nice staff and after 2 minutes I got the car. 5/5!!
Look no further than here! Amazing, personal and friendly. Really helped us out of a difficult situation and we could not be happier! A lot of rental companies you felt like a number, but not here.
I had a great experience renting a car with Stavros. Besides the great rapport quality-price they were very helpful and the whole process was smooth and easy going. I hope to come back again and use this service again. Thanks!
Reasonable prices, no problems with renting or returning the car, everything went smoothly.
We were not able to rent a car for our 2 days in Sifnos ahead of time so we were frantically checking out every car rental agency in Kamares on a Friday early afternoon. Absolutely everything was booked out. But then we found our saviour Sifnostravel! They provided us with an awesome Fiat Panda and let us even extend the rental for one more day on short notice. Sarah was very friendly and helped us out soo much. The prices were absolutely ok too. 5 Stars!
Ordered a Citroen C3, ended up with an extremely slow and old Fiat Panda. I would have forgiven this had the AC existed (not an option) and the cost wasnt exorbitant. The car is not worth 20 euros a day let alone 40. Sorry guys - please work harder at keeping to your word and supporting travellers
Friendly service, good, new car. They adhere to the law that forces them to use cars of 7 years or younger. Also they told me they've been around since forever, old school, and that's why they don't have many Google reviews.

Outstanding recipes alongside with pure, clean and honest flavors from every cocktail that I drunk during the night. The highlight was the Old fashioned infused with truffle; a remarkable and probably unforgettable drink.
We only got drinks. Nice terrace with a fantastic breeze and cool music. The prices are extremely high for non alcoholic drinks. In general their prices are high but for a non alcoholic I would expect to pay around 6€ and not 9€ for mainly soda water. The atmosphere is nice. The staff not very attentive.
Very beautiful bar. Quality cocktails, good prices, beautiful view. Friendly personal, great music. Definitely recommend to visit!
We are very disappointed with the kocktails no good and one person ask for soda and the waitress refused to serve sofa after 12 it was very bad service and duality off drink's not recomend this place
Outrageous. The location is very nice but that’s it. 15 euros for a very bad cocktail, did not even drink it… they bring you the bill before the drinks. Pass your way, there are nicer cocktail bars elsewhere in the city!
Great signature cocktails, nice atmosphere, good service! We will definitely come again!
Great place with the best view! Big thanks to the staff for great time and tasty drinks.
Super nice bar! I love it. The cocktails are awesome and the view and the roof top are very cool! I would definitely recommend!!!!

One of the best experiences on our trip. Went for a cooking class on Sifnos food. George was courteous, a good story teller, fun, informative. The meal we helped prepare with him was outstanding. Had a tour of the farm. Great evening.
It was an amazing experience to learn how to cook family recipes and visit a small working farm. I love Greek food and learned so many great techniques that I am able to use at home. They let you take videos so you can remember small tips and also provide you with recipes to take home. Best part of the day is sitting down together and enjoying all the wonderful food. I highly recommend doing this if you are interested in learning how to cook recipes that have been passed down from generations. The pottery studio on the farm also has lovely pieces at good prices. They offer pottery classes as well. Book the cooking classes ahead of time because space is limited. Thank you to the Narlis family for your wonderful hospitality and for sharing your family recipes! ( they also had gluten free bread and most of the dishes were Gluten free. Let them know ahead of time if you have an allergy)
What a wonderful experience! George was welcoming and passionate about his farm. I loved learning about Sifnos cuisine. The farm was charming and the home cooked meal was absolutely delicious!
A remarkable genuine farm visit + cooking traditional food experience in Sifnos. George and his wife are the kindest hosts you’ll meet!
We loved our morning at Narlis! Loved learning about the Sifnian way of farming and eating delicious food. The beautiful ceramics shop was the cherry on top!
What an amazing, heartfelt experience this was. George and Dina invite you into their home as if you're old friends coming to lunch, they not only teach you how to cook authentic Sifnos meals but teach you why they cook with the herbs and salt the way they do, incorporating the history of farming and the role of water into the recipes. They are clearly proud of their farm and maintaining traditional farming practices, as they should be, the farm tour is filled with information and taste as you try the fruits of their labour to bring home what you have learnt in the cooking class. I cannot recommend this enough as a cooking class but also as a meal with friends and a look into sifnos's history. Thank you George and Dina.
George and Dina have done an incredible job of maintaining and sharing authentic, traditional Sifnian cuisine and cooking styles— George’s storytelling had our table laughing, and his recipes were not only delicious but nourishing Dina’s hustling behind the scene to make the experience seamless can’t be highlighted enough My girlfriend and I agreed that we would come back to Sifnos for Farm Narlis alone. Do not miss, if you care about quality food and want to share an unforgettable dining, storytelling, and learning experience From the meal, my personal highlights were: the fish roe dip, the fava dip, the chic peas the lamb, and the mixed vegetable salad (honestly, everything we ate was 10/10 but I had to call out these dishes specifically) (We also continued to run into couples from our table, for the rest of our stay in Sifnos, and we felt blessed to have met everybody) Thank you, Narlis family 🙏
Amazing cooking day with the owner and his wife! We visited and learned about the farm, and cooked great meal. The owner shared his personal experience and life story, which was very touching. Would recommend 100%!

We had the best experience with Amanda Sifnos Cruises! Fabio was an excellent host and captain—super easy to communicate with throughout the booking process, very responsive, and made everything feel effortless. The day itself was both fun and relaxing. Fabio took us to beautiful hidden spots and bays that we never would’ve found on our own, with multiple opportunities to swim in the most stunning, clear water. The boat was spacious and comfortable, and we felt completely safe and well taken care of the entire time. He also shared interesting stories and local insights that added so much to the experience. And the lunch—absolutely delicious! Can’t recommend this enough if you’re in Sifnos. It was a true highlight of our trip!
The most relaxing and fun day on the boat with Fabio and Mia, we didn’t want it to end! It was so nice to explore the different spots and have time to explore, swim and relax at each stop. Lunch was delicious and fresh, and we really enjoyed the wine ;) I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Sifnos, thank you so much for this memorable experience!
We had the best day out sailing with Fabio. He was extremely knowledgeable with Sifnos and Poliegos, and provided a comfortable and relaxing experience throughout. His boat, Amanda, is in pristine condition and such a nice boat to spend a day on. Delicious lunch too!
One of the best boat trips ever! Fabio has a true talent for creating the perfect day, taking you to the most stunning spots around the island of Sifnos. Onboard, Sara is an incredible host and cook, preparing a delightful array of treats that will make your experience even more memorable. After swimming in the crystal-clear blue and green waters of Sifnos, you'll be treated to a fresh, delicious lunch, complete with plenty of drinks and fruits. What are you waiting for? Book your trip with the Amanda for an unforgettable day in Sifnos!
We had an amazing tour with Fabio and Maya around Sifnos! Both of them are really friendly and hospitable! We were together with 8 other guests on board (so in total we were 10 guests). There is enough space for everyone in the sun as well as in the shadow on board! We went to two beautiful spots and had a lot of time for swimming and diving in the cristal clear water! Also the food (a mixture of Greek and Italian vegetarian dishes) was amazing! I can totally recommend this tour!
Best boat trip of my life! We had an amazing experience with captain Fabio exploring the coasts of Sifnos and Polyagos, having lunch with awesome hand made Greek and Italian food. Everything was safe and smooth and relaxing, I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a boat trip in Sifnos.
A perfect way to spend the day in Sifnos. 8 hours on a gorgeously restored and thoughtfully designed traditional boat thet had everything to make us comfortable - enough sunbeds and places to lounge for our group of 12 (with space to spare), snorkel gear, a fresh homemade lunch, and a lovely host. The views were stunning and we stopped 3 times to swim in different scenic spots - our favorite had a church that you could swim up to. We had a last minute change of plans and Fabio was not only able to let us join his group, but he set up transportation for us, delayed the start time 30 minutes so we weren't rushed from our ferry, and he communicated every detail. 10/10 - highly recommend.
Everything was perfect from start to finish. Fabio is an incredible, soulful, and passionate captain who made us feel completely safe (the winds were strong). He found us a calm bay where we spent the day learning about the wind, the history of the island, and the sea. We enjoyed a beautifully prepared lunch by Maya (best host) with wine and beer. Their generosity, energy, and vibe were simply unmatched. We really enjoyed it! Highly recommended if you are planning a boat trip in Sifnos! We were 8 people total on the boat and the price was great for what we were offered in return. Great memories.10/10

Best bar location in Apollonia. Offers both terrace and street tables. Very nice decor throughout the whole place. Service is swift and staff really kind. We tasted few of the cocktails and they were all tasteful. Music kicks off with a lounge tune till midnight and then gets funkier. It's certainly the place to be in Sifnos.
Arrive early.. few minutes before sunset.. go to their terrace which is still quiet with nice vibes and views.. order your cocktail (only miss: they dont make sex on the beach) and enjoy til the last sip.. Bonus: great friendly personnel take care of you🧿💖
We visited Cosi twice in a 4 days vacation trip. It's the most popular night club and it's packed with people usually after midnight. The cocktails were really good and the view from the top floor is amazing. It's a must to visit this place at least once of you happen to visit Sifnos
A very nice place to drink in the evening, a bit expensive but good choices. Tables are a bit to close that you can easily chat to the person sitting next to you. But the reason why I put 3 stars it is because the young blonde girl was rude to us when we just wanted to pay.
We stopped in on our way home for a quick cocktail. This bar enjoys a great location, and the staff are friendly, approachable and knowledgable about the drinks menu. The rooftop offers excellent views. The music was a mixture of pop and house and wasn’t overly loud; it contributed to an already pleasant vibe. I’d happily stop by again, especially for Happy Hour :). My Cocktails of choice would be the chilli clown and the East coast; both are refreshing and packed with flavour.
Very nice place. Best cocktail ->Zombie I prefer louder music though, but it was due to covid-19 restrictions.
A must-go when in Sifnos! Great vibe, good music, superb view, amazing staff! Pantelis was super helpful.
Our visit to the bar was deeply disappointing. Despite ordering drinks and sitting at a table for over fifteen minutes, a female staff member asked us to leave, claiming it was reserved, without any prior indication. We relocated, only to see the supposedly reserved table empty for hours. This behavior left us feeling perplexed and disrespected, overshadowing the positive aspect of live music. Regrettably, we cannot recommend this place and strongly suggest exploring better alternatives. The bar seems to have little regard for its reputation and customer experience.

Stop at the parking midway, don’t go down with the car o scooter. It’s a 10 min walking with a nice view and you don’t risk ruin the car. The beach is nice and there are two options for sunbeds, one is 20€ and the other 30€ (July 2025).
More deserted and private beach with beautiful blue water! Watch out to get here by car though as the last part of the road is very steep so better to park earlier and walk towards the beach.
One of the best beaches we visited in Sifnos. We went twice during our stay and always stayed at Taverna Vroulidia. Delicious fresh fish and very kind and friendly staff. Highly recommended!
Someone tipped us off to Vroulidia, and thank goodness they did. Yes, it’s a trek—long hills down, long hills back up, the kind where halfway you’re thinking, maybe I should’ve stayed in bed. But then you see it: that private little cove, quiet as a secret, the water so blue it looks Photoshopped (Listerine-clear, practically glowing). The beach feels like it’s yours alone, and when you climb back up—sweaty, sun-drunk, happy—you get those sweeping views that make you forget your legs are jelly. Plus, the taverna? Delicious. Worth it for one glorious day in Sifnos.
Awesome beach, water is clear and blue. Although they have paved some of the road make sure to stop and park in the car park and walk the rest. The gradient from the car park is dangerously steep. Also seem to need to reserve the lounge chairs - we turned up at 10.30am in August and got the last chair as all others were reserved
This was one of our favourite beaches on sifnos. We went in October when the café was closed and we were the only ones there! Beautiful bay and we'll sheltered meaning water was clear and not cold, even in October. We thoroughly recommend this one. Parking for a few cars half way down the hill to the beach. Great drive to get there
This is a secluded beach avoid driving down. Park at the last straightaway where there’s parking. If it’s windy, expect it to be very strong here, as the surrounding mountains funnel the wind.
Not the paradise beach other visitors are raving about. It’s a pebbled beach with a forest of sea weed floating towards the beach. The place is a very steep road down hill. Too much effort for what you get. Better visit Chrysopigi, a place with a sandy beach and two great tavernas either friendly staff and extreme clean restrooms for everyone to use!

Amazing view of the east side of the island. We hiked up on the official trail from Firogia which took us about 40 minutes and was doable even in flip flops, though not ideal. The only downside was the hiking trail was full of spider webs, and even though I armed myself with a mighty stick to make way for my lady and bravely remove the webbings between the bushes blocking the trail every few minutes, I still ended up with 2-3 webs right in my face, and possibily some spiders as well. Summing up: View from the top: 5/5 Spiders on the hiking trail: 0/5 Overall: 5/5 because the Church spot really is beautiful and I might even turn into Spiderman later today
Very interesting ruins and findings from Mycenaean ages! A small museum where we found George who gave us a private tour!
nice view, the site is ancient and there is almost nothing to see, but you should read the history of the settlement and the island
Ancient era Sifnos is not well know which makes the visit well worth. Entrance is affordable (2€ in 2017) and walking around the Acropolis can be overwhelming if one considers its age and the people who lived there. Also, the view is absolutely breathtaking!
Be sure to make the effort to visit! There is a bus that goes from Appolonia three times/week (Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday), which returns just over an hour later. That is enough time to view the wonderful archaeological collection in the on site museum, and then to tour the Acropolis and monastery. The view is remarkably stunning and beautiful.
We never got to see it. Went online on Monday and read that it is not open on Mondays. So, we went on Tuesday. Guess what, closed on Tuesdays. And it wasn't just us. There was a whole group of tourists and a few individuals who had the same issue. Later in the day I was given a tourist's booklet about the island for 2019. In there, it also said that the archaeological site is closed on Mondays. Great work to all who are responsible for promoting tourism in Greece. You did it, again. Congrats to the mayor for the misleading booklet as well.
There is a beautiful church with a beautiful view of the Aegean Sea. The trekking itinerary leads to the top of the hill, where you can visit both the monastery and the mycenean acropolis with its museum. The flora is peaceful too.
The ruins are absolutely uninteresting like the tiny room where are presented the rare objects found. During my whole visit I was followed by a guard who was watching me all the time, it was ridiculous and very unconfortable. Do they think I will steal a 50kg/110lbs stone? The only interesting thing is the view on the sea

A port town for Sifnos with shops, restaurants, bars, and a lovely shallow beach. We hung out at Old Captains enjoying a drink while perched in one of their comfortable beach lounger chairs. We had an excellent day there.
A really nice and quiet beach (end of June), very clean sand and crystal clear water without any rocks or seaweeds. Good bars with more than decent food and friendly staff. Beds and umbrellas are between 15-30 euros for a set. The 30 euro sets are free if you spend more in the bar.
Although it is a port, the water here is remarkably clean for swimming. The beach is easily accessible for both children and the elderly. The right side of the beach is much more beautiful, while the side near the taverns is less appealing due to limited water circulation
Lovely shallow & sandy beach in between the port and the mountains. Few umbrellas and bars along the beach but lots of space free to sit. Gorgeous sunset spot every night! Nearby restaurants all along the water too next to the port.
Very nice beach. It's better than the pictures look. Quite shallow though. Great for kids.
what can I say? I have been visiting Sifnos Island for more than 25 years now. this was always the place that I was choosing to stay and for good reason. The beach itself is amazing with crystal clear shallow waters, that gets deeper as you move on a lot of options to grab coffee, food or a drink and it is about 10 minutes from the center of the island.
Kamares beachnest to the post with nice beach coffee bars and restaurants !!!
One of the better beaches on the island of Sifnos. Lots of chairs under umbrellas to sit on. There are also some trees that provide good shade unlike some of the other beaches on the island. It's right next to the center of town so it's very close to good restaurants. The water is very clear and quite warm. Its good for small children as it is very calm and takes a while to get deep. If you want a proper swim you will have to walk out for a few meters until it gets deep.

The Most beautiful Beach so far ❤️ Protected from the northern wind. Clear water. Laid back with tree shades. Tar Vern where to rest and have a good local plate and drink TOP
Very nice beach, with some trees for natural shade. The waters look nice and clean. There are some seaweeds close to the beach that might unattract people, but you can walk around them. It is a very interesting waters for snorkelling, especially by the rocks.
Pretty, unspoilt sandy beach with shade from trees and a few umbrellas. Decent snorkeling around the rocks at either side of the bay. Toilet and shower available. Parking available immediately behind the beach. An easy walk from Faros. There is seaweed on the seabed a little out to sea, but that did not bother us, and it appeared to encourage the fish. 😊
If I needed a beach that is a combination of easy access, good for anyone from families with small children to groups of friends to off the beaten path travelers, still authentic, not too crowded, crystal clear waters, sand, slow slope, while still enough interesting rocks and plants to snorkel nearby, one taverna if not self sufficient, and natural shade in abundance by trees, then Fassolou would get close to being the ideal beach. Not the most beautiful beach of Sifnos. But definitely the best combination of beach of Sifnos.
My husband is diving from the beach. A few trees for shade. Typical sand and shingle beach.
This is the best beach of the village. Really less tourists and a better sand.
Very nice beach with clear waters, natural shade from the almira trees and a great view of the xrisopigi monastery Tip:There is a restaurant next to the beach where you can get coffee, drinks and food with affordable prices.
