Omega3 is a renowned restaurant located in the picturesque Platis Gialos. The menu, curated by Sifnian chef Giorgos Samoilis, offers a delightful selection of raw pescatarian dishes featuring fresh catches and Greek produce. The ambiance is perfect for a leisurely dining experience, with pergola-shaded bar tables adding to the charm. Rumored to be frequented by celebrities like Tom Hanks and Bono, Omega3 promises an unforgettable feast for the senses.
This is a really well put together place, the food is great put together tasting plates without a stuffy atmosphere. Great view on the seafront, food itself is very fresh cold seafood mostly and some hot plates. The four of us really enjoyed our dinner here and would absolutely recommend it. About as good as it gets I would say
Harris K — Google review
Without a doubt, this was the best food we had on the island. Every dish was excellent, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. Everything about our experience was simply fantastic. The service was outstanding—warm, attentive, and thoughtful in a way that made us feel truly cared for. The staff went above and beyond, especially in doting on our young baby, which made the evenings even more special. The service here is the best we’ve experienced anywhere in Greece, and that kind of consistency clearly comes from the top, so congratulations to the management for setting such a high standard. We loved it so much that we came back for our last night in Sifnos, and it was the perfect way to end our trip. The team were outstanding and we couldn’t be more appreciative of them taking care of us. A visit to Sifnos isn’t complete without dining here. I’m still thinking about their dessert and can’t wait to come back one day!
Kay C — Google review
Fancy restaurant with the quality, originality you expect and also with the usual high prices for such a place. I've been there in October, so it was reasonably busy, pleasant to just walk by and have a wonderful meal by the beach. In July-August it is totally another story. Realy with it!
Zied B — Google review
We had a great dinner at Omega3. We got sat right a the water as another family decided to get up. The menu is interesting a big departure from typical Greek cuisine. The waiter was prompt, helpful and provided suggestions. The meals are served tapas style and everything we had was really good. We liked every dish, they did get sea urchin for the first time in a few weeks and that was delicious. The wine list was extensive and not knowing anything about Greek wine, the waiter provided some suggestions (also some of the most expensive) but they didn’t disappoint. Overall we had a fantastic experience and would go back the next time we are on the island.
Eli Z — Google review
The food was very nice, nice concept of restaurant and delivered a nice experience. Was a but too loud from the beach and music from other bars, but overall was worth coming to try! Fish mosaic was surreal and orzo was also really tasty!
Luciana W — Google review
A party of 5 and we tried 9 different plates and 2 desserts! Everything was amazing and honestly i can not understand the bad reviews! Off course it’s a matter of personal taste, but Omega 3 it’s not a place to bury it with bad reviews! Taste, quality of materials and service is very high level! The price is about 40-50 euros per person which is understandable for what it offers! Definitely a place you must visit in Sifnos!!!
C. P — Google review
We loved the casual atmosphere — it’s the kind of place that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. The menu is focused on small plates designed for sharing. We were recommend to order 5 to 7 plates for two people to get a good variety — each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The staff were incredibly friendly and offered great suggestions and making us feel right at home. Definitely a place we would like to come back to — highly recommended!

Experiential island cuisine in a fantastic location. On the pricey end but it is worth the experience. The staff is great, the food is nice, it was worth the visit

Tsikali is a charming restaurant and dairy located on the picturesque Vathi bay. The owner, Mr. Nikos, has an interesting background as an electrician turned sailor turned cheesemaker, and he is dedicated to using the freshest produce in his dishes. The family farm supplies seasonal herbs and vegetables that perfectly complement the cheese and meat offerings on the menu.
What a beautiful spot to have breakfast, lunch or dinner on the beach. Traditional food and excellent service and can see it’s run by a family. We ordered the cheese balls, spinach pie, goat and the cod, all delicious. Perfect dinner and perfect location. Highly recommend.
Annie Y — Google review
Stunning taverna on the beach serving delicious local food! The fried squid and moussaka were personal favourites (bear in mind they had sold out of moussaka by 8pm (overheard from another table)) and the Greek salad and chickpea balls also great. You can’t actually see sunset from this spot but the glow of the mountains opposite was just as good.
Ruth K — Google review
Such a classic great tavern! We trued mousakka, greek salad, fries and fried calamari. Not a huge fan of greek ekmek kadayifi but still, really good food. I also liked its calming atmosphere next to the beach and chill staff. Awesome!
Noyan Y — Google review
Beach front taverna to have lunch or early dinner after swim. Traditional local dishes with the freshest ingredients. The family that owns it have their own farm so both meat dishes and cheeses on offer are made by them! Must visit for meat lovers and local cuisine.
Paola — Google review
A lovely spot to eat traditional Greek food with your feet on the sand. Order the classics (Pastisio, Stuffed Tomatoes and Moussaka) and you won’t be disappointed.
Peter M — Google review
Lunch of horiatiki with soft local cheese, perfect fried potatoes, and strong tzatziki with your feet in the sand inches from the sea. Delicious and blissful.
Alan B — Google review
Lovely taverna right on the beach, we had one of the best eggplant salad- dip ever with yummy fresh bread , Greek salad and very nice house rose! Excellent service, we enjoyed it all after a 3 hours 40 min hike!
Leny W — Google review
Such a perfect little true Greek family run restaurant. We really enjoyed the food and wine. The service was great! It is run by a husband and wife doing the cooking and the son serving. They were so welcoming!

Restaurant
Nestled in the charming resort of Platis Yialos, Maiòlica Sifnos stands out as a culinary gem that beautifully showcases Greece's renowned Mediterranean diet. This modern restaurant offers an innovative twist on traditional flavors, featuring health-conscious small plates crafted with precision and creativity.
The best meal we had on our entire Europe trip. We were lucky enough to walk in without a reservation on a Saturday night. The service was wonderful and the food was next level! We ordered the raw sea bass, fried cuttlefish, cucumber and melon salad and the pork rib - which was an off-menu special that evening. Every dish was 10/10. I’ll be recommending this place to everyone!
Meg T — Google review
Lovely spot with great ambience and excellent service. The menu is adventurous - with interesting and unexpected combinations and techniques that left us at moments impressed (for example the sea bream in quinoa crust), at moments a bit puzzled (for example the kiwi purée and cucumber celery garnish in the sea bream). Overall, we liked the experience and the daring approach. Ambience and service are truly 10/10. Definitely a must try in Sifnos!!
Chiara O — Google review
Wow! One of the best lunch ever! The chef is a genius! All the dishes were very well made, balanced and tasty! The presentation was great and Isaac the waiter was really friendly and helpful! Big thank you for the experience!
Simone V — Google review
I went without reservation and the staff was extremely helpful to find me a table. I was on my own, and wanted to try another wine that was not on the glass service but they found me a good middle ground. Whatever I tried was extremely tasty. The spring onion starter with “almond ricotta” is a very unusual yet enjoyable dish, that gets richer with the textures. The famous sea bream with quinoa crust deserves its fame. Very light and fit for a summer evening, while still holding flavour richness with green “salsa” and celery salad. And the star of the night, the cookie sandwich dessert with pistachios. How amazing a dessert can be, a perfect match for the Samos nectar wine too! I’d be happy to be back here! Thanks to the chef and the lovely service team!
Nisa G — Google review
Very special and incredibly tasty dishes. The girl who served us was very polite and helpful (Thank you Penelope) . Highly recommended – 100%.

We’ve been traveling around Greece. This was by far the best food we’ve had. It was absolutely worth it. We had fried cuttlefish, spring onion, sea bass, and orzo with pork. It was an absolutely amazing experience. Frankie and Nico are the best. Ask for them :-)
Emma V — Google review
Awesome restaurant. We had 1 dish off menu and 2 from the menu... amazing! Wine also really good. Everything perfect thanks!
Michael Z — Google review
Had a lovely and quiet lunch experience here amidst an otherwise busy beach. The food quality and presentation were top notch, and the service was a 10/10. Don’t miss out on the watermelon salad, and the restaurants fabulous bread/olive oil/olives!

Cantina is a sustainable dining destination on Sifnos, emphasizing hyper-local and zero-waste practices. The restaurant's commitment to utilizing ingredients from the island results in an authentic culinary experience. With a focus on ethical sourcing, including organic vegetables and ethically caught fish, Cantina offers a nose-to-tail menu that adapts based on available produce. Nestled into the cliffs near Seralia beach, this simple cottage-style restaurant provides a unique setting for conscious dining.
We had such a wonderful experience! The 70€ menu per person was truly worth it — every course was delicious and beautifully prepared. What touched us the most was how the staff treated our 5-year-old daughter: they kindly made her a plate of pasta (and even offered it for free), which made her feel so special. Everyone was incredibly attentive and genuinely lovely, especially with our little one. Thank you so much for an amazing night!
Göksu O — Google review
Nice ambiance and decent food offering! For the price point, one would arguably expect something more bold and audacious! They are encouraged to try it as something to improve! Service was definitely a strong point, especially Giorgos who made our evening memorable!

For the name of God just book in advance and visit this place!!! My fiancée and myself visited this place and it exceeded our expectations!!!! We have been to restaurants around the world but this one is definitely one of the best we have been to!!! Excellent staff, professional, full of smiles and positive energy! They enjoy themselves and you can see the happiness on their face when you enjoy yourselves. The food is made by fresh ingredients and the combination of flavours creates an explosion of taste and awesomeness!!! The secluded beach, the stars and moon create an out of this world experience!! TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT!!! Μπράβο παιδιά είστε καταπληκτικοί!!!

Waited all summer to visit Cantina and it didn’t disappoint. The service, food quality and atmosphere were all 10/10. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, offered suggestions for wine/ specials without being pushy. They also were very helpful with ordering a taxi for us. One of my favourite dining experiences, can’t wait to visit again! Pricing: It’s a sharing menu, 7 courses at €70pp and you can upgrade to €100 to have the special menu. There were options for bottles of wine from €40 all the way up to €900+
Isabel F — Google review
We had an absolutely wonderful late lunch here. Living in London we massively enjoyed coming post swim and not being rushed, having almost all the 3 hours with a stunning view felt like a luxury.
Amy M — Google review
10/10. Just perfect. Absolute must in sifnos. Staff are amazing, food is incredible. A super special once in a lifetime experience without any stuffiness or pretentiousness. Just good homemade local food and the best vibes.
Brittany — Google review
Absolutely beautiful restaurant. Food was amazing but missing a bit of a wow factor for the price. Still very high quality food but the "mains" were lacking some flavor. We would still go back anytime visiting sifnos as it is beautiful and their wine list is spectacular.

The setting, the food, the service, were all absolutely top notch. One of the best experiences dining that my wife and I have had. Sommelier was awesome allowing us to try varieties we were less familiar with.

Restaurant
Limanaki Fish Tavern, nestled in the charming coastal village of Faros, offers a genuine taste of the sea with its focus on fresh seafood and fish caught daily by the owner, a local fisherman. This traditional family-owned tavern exudes a warm and friendly atmosphere while serving excellent food at fair prices. Guests can savor delectable dishes such as Psarosoupa (fish soup), grilled octopus, and lobster pasta.
Excellent fresh red snapper. Excellent location. Great service and internet. Thrilled we came here. Didn’t know it was one of the best rated restaurants on the island when we sat down - it was amazing! They even gave us a free lemon mousse for dessert!
Jay S — Google review
We have been in Greece for over two weeks and had some fantastic meals. Our meal at Limanaki surpassed all of them. We had the lobster, the octopus appetizer, and the salad with giant beans. All were sensational. The woman who waited on us was the fisherman’s daughter. She showed us all the fresh fish caught that day and let us choose what we wanted. We tried to order something for an appetizer and she guided us to get something different that would pair well with the other things we were ordering. We were deciding between menu options and when we said we wanted the lobster, but didn’t want the pasta that came with it she had the lobster grilled and served with the salad. All this to say she curated the most delicious dining experience. After we paid our bill they brought us a mini “cheesecake “ to perfectly finish off the meal. All of this in the most charming area on the most charming island.
Nancy G — Google review
A perfect way to end our last day in Sifnos. Limanaki impressed us with warm, attentive service and generous portions of incredibly fresh seafood. The red snapper, one of the fish of the day, was grilled to perfection —simple, flavourful, and beautifully cooked. The crayfish orzo was another standout, rich and delicious. Add to that the stunning sea views and relaxed atmosphere, and you’ve got a truly memorable dining experience. Highly recommended ✅
Isabella A — Google review
We had the best time dining at Limanaki while in Sifnos! My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon bouncing around several islands in Greece. While in Sifnos, we stayed right in Faros and were a short walk to the restaurant. No wonder we came here on three separate occasions! The marinated anchovies were simple but elegant. I tried the fresh catch of the day which was a scorpion fish (pictures included). What a unique experience for a fish that is not easy to find! The staff were so kind and the atmosphere as warm and welcoming as anyone could ask for. Don’t miss this nice gem if you are in Sifnos! We will be back :)
Johnathan S — Google review
This was our favourite restaurant in Sifnos. If you want an authentic Greek experience - go here. The fish is caught by the fisherman who owns the restaurant, the food and wine are delicious, traditional music plays and it is in a tiny Greek fishing village. What more could you want on holiday?!
Lindsay U — Google review
It was amazing! We ordered a grilled parrot fish, fried tiny fishes (I am not good with names..), tzatziki and grilled vegetables. Everything was super fresh and incredible, especially the fish. The server was so kind and welcoming. She showed the inventory of fishes of the day. The price was very reasonable considering the quality of food. We are staying 4 days in this island and visited this restaurant twice. Highly recommended!
Kyoungjin K — Google review
We walked from Kastro to Faros and ended up at this lovely restaurant by the sea. We had fresh fish, delicious greens, and were treated to a tasty dessert. The staff was very friendly and everything tasted amazing. Afterwards we enjoyed a refreshing swim, the perfect ending to a wonderful afternoon.
Sofie S — Google review
My sister and i were told about this restaurant from a new friend we met at our accommodation. The 3 of us came and, wow, the family took such good care, and we chose fresh fish from the days catch. The flavours were exploding in your mouth, and the grilled squid amazing. Thanks George, Pedro and Isabella for a wonderful evening. Robbyn, Deborah and Clementine.

Meropi is a charming traditional Greek restaurant located in Kamares. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh ingredients sourced from its own farm, ensuring high quality and authenticity in its dishes. Visitors can enjoy a variety of delicious meals, such as grilled sardines and local specialties like chickpea soup. The friendly service and fast delivery of freshly prepared food add to the overall dining experience.
The Meropi restaurant, was fantastic throughout our stay. We came back on several occasions for Lunch, Dinner, Coffee as it was so delicious, and the waiters and waitress were fabulous, lovely and treating us so well! The food was to die for, and authentic, full of flavour! Warm and beautiful presented. ! Portions are wonderful size and the presentation is top notch! Service was quick and efficient and were able to enjoy without any worries the entire time! We stayed for hours just to enjoy the ambience and people. The location is fantastic, by the water in the port, in the shade with a beautiful view. Definitely 10 out of 10 for everything, service, food and location with the ambiance! Worth nothing as well the inside of the restaurant is pristine and washroom is impeccable!

Best spot so far for veggie/vegan food - you must try the chickpea soup! Melt in your mouth and so is the stuffed aubergine and vine leaves. Pretty gorgeous spot too looking over the bay !
Georgina T — Google review
Delicious vegan / vegetarian food - plenty options! We ordered a few small plates, the zucchini balls were so tasty and the chickpea soup (local dish) is a must try.
Carale — Google review
Meropi in Kamares is a real gem. The Mastelo was perfectly tender, the katsikaki kokkinisto (goat in tomato sauce) rich and full of flavour, and the Greek salad with myzithra cheese was fresh and delicious. The staff are warm and welcoming – special mention to Simos, who was exceptionally helpful and friendly. A must-visit in Sifnos!
Prodromos O — Google review
The taverna - The food is okay. The greens beans were very good. Service is decent. Location is great. Moussaka was okay but nothing special. Not likely to return. 7/10.
Nicholas S — Google review
My husband and I loved this place so much that we came here for dinner two times (which we never do on holiday). The staff were so friendly and the chickpea soup and clay baked lamb were UNREAL. Our friends and family are probably sick of me talking about how much we loved this place. If you’re in Sifnos, we highly recommend!!
Melanie F — Google review
We have been here during last years several times and this restaurant was one of our favorite, unfortunately the foods did not taste the same and the quality is reduced. The staff is fast and polite! Nice location by the seaside. We hope next year it will be better 🤞
Panagiotis M — Google review
Don’t know why the ratings are so strong for here. Worst meal we have had in Greece. Extremely disappointed. Lamb was stone cold and we sent it back then it came back dry and even worse. Dolmades were cold and tasted like the ones out of a can. Greek salad was fine. Bread tasted stale. Do yourself a favour and go to one of the others on this strip they ate all better and more authentic

The DRIMONI restaurant offers a perfect location with amazing food and attentive staff. They serve generous portions of Greek salad made with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Their menu also features interesting dishes like the Roquefort burgers and sauteed chicken, which blend traditional and international flavors to create a satisfying culinary experience. This place is highly recommended for those seeking real value for money, exceptional views, and excellent service.
Call it culinary Greek with local flair with a good wine selection. And a view which we missed the twilight still the lights and road down to center Apollinia and through the valley provided ample atmosphere to go with the shallow deep blue pool outside the main dining area that was glassed off from the Cycladic winds. The signature salad was a flavorful blend of fruits, nuts, cheese and greens. The sagnaki subbed traditional cheese and lemon with a salsa and local Manouri cheese. The sweet pepper pesto eggplant was superb and the main courses were well portioned with great flavors leaving us with leftovers. Three of us sampled the Pork filled in a dried fig creamy wine sauce, the chicken on a skewer and the sirloin steak all of which were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Opt for the rice over the fried potatoes and leave room for dessert. We were stuff and split the cheese cake which didn't look like ones photographed yet was classic in taste, texture, and joy eating.
Nik S — Google review
The location is beautiful and has lovely views. The food was amazing. I’ve not had souvlaki cooked so tender and flavorful ever. The down side was the service. With only a couple of tables in the restaurant and still service was hard to get. Constantly having to go find someone. It seemed they were more interested in talking with friends than work. The service was so bad, we left without having dessert.
Some G — Google review
This restaurant promotes itself as fine dining, though the menu focuses mainly on classic Greek dishes. That said, every plate we tried was executed very well. The atmosphere is inviting, with an outstanding view, and the service was quick and pleasant. Overall, I felt the experience was a bit overpriced for what it offered.
Marios P — Google review
One of the best restaurants in all of Greece. We ate here twice in 3 days, the food is absolutely delicious. Highly reccomend the following: haloumi starter, casarecce eggplant pasta, slow cooked goat and for desert the Ekmek, oven baked cookie with ice cream and above all else the best basque cheesecake we’ve ever had. Great service and beautiful setting, we’ll be back again when we visit sifnos.

Hands down best dinner we’ve had in Sifnos - and we’ve had some good ones! Simple menu, yet everything prepared to perfection. The chicken Souvlaki was so tender.. I’ll be back!

Natalya P — Google review
We have now come here twice for dinner. We had the chicken skewer the first time, and the lamb chop the second time. Hands down the best meat we have had on Sifnos! It’s so good it’s ruining my ability to order chicken skewer elsewhere! And don’t forget the house wine and the basque cheesecake!!
Ollie Z — Google review
I have no idea why the ratings are so high here. We arrived at 8 45 PM and we were the only table, another table arrived just before we left. The food is below average, service is friendly. The location is very good and close to town, however we were not able to pay by credit card because they said there was no internet coverage. Then they said we should make an international bank transfer, which the bank would charge a hefty transfer fee. Finally we agreed that they would come to our hotel and we would pay them in cash. This is not an experience I ever encountered in Greece and therefore my rating for Drimoni is quite low.

Araxovoli, a charming restaurant located on the waterfront of Kamares, offers an excellent dining experience with its island cuisine and fresh seafood. The owner, who also operates a fishing boat, ensures that the restaurant is supplied with the freshest catch. Guests can indulge in traditional Sifnos dishes such as katziki mastela and enjoy generous portions of delectable meals. The friendly staff and picturesque views of the bay add to the overall delightful dining atmosphere.
Great place to eat fresh fish and traditional greek food. Has a beautiful view of the beach and port, and has really kind and lovely service.

My scale is 3 for as expected given price, location etc. Small ocean fronting restaurant with fresh seafood. We had a fresh parrot fish with lovely “squeaky cheese” salad as mum would say. Very fresh and colourful. A carafe of rose followed by a red. Delicious as expected. Well worth a visit.
Paul G — Google review
Atmosphere is great and staff are so friendly! Food is delicious too but as a restaurant who should have fresh fish I was expecting some flavour in food. My seabream did not have much of a taste or flavour. We recommend the greek salad. Also, we found it too expensive compared to other restaurants in the island (70€ per kg of seabream whereas other restaurants have it for €55)!
Sonia B — Google review
Best place to get fresh fish in town, price and quality wise is the best as well we had in Sifnos. The flavors were amazing and the starters were also special. Great atmosphere with directly sea view and the lively street. The staff were friendly but there’s a room for improvement with more proactive attitude and attention. Highly recommended and reservation is needed for the sea view.
Adel A — Google review
Served us a stone-cold fish. On balance, decided to press on. We were happy to pay for everything else. But not the stone-cold fish. We met with an exceptionally aggressive response from the owner/manager. Which included calling the port police!!! A remarkable experience. From our (albeit limited) experience, this place is best avoided. Especially when compared with the superb culinary experiences elsewhere on the island, we had a terrible meal (the final meal of our excellent holiday). And the customer care to genuinely aggrieved customers left a lot to be desired.
Ben R — Google review
The fish is super good, we ate the sea bream and a tarama as the starter. The portions are big. At night it looks to be pretty full, but at lunch it is almost empty, so if you want to try it without being crowded I recommend eating there at lunch

Went on a Sunday and had the chickpea stew traditional to Sifnos on this day which was smoky, nuanced, and delicious. We also had salad with cheese made in Sifnos which was huge and very fresh. Lovely seating on the water and one of the best meals we had during our trip in Greece. Added bonus- a family owned spot.

Poor experience. Ate here twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. Was ok for a quick lunch but the dinner we wished we had gone elsewhere. Fish badly cooked, very limited wine offerings, missing the atmosphere of other restaurants in Kamares and unfriendly, unprofessional staff. Definitely not up to the standards of the food and hospitality in Sifnos. We won’t return or recommend. Also even though is a taverna, prices aren’t much cheaper than other places.

Nestled on the Faros beach in Sifnos, Pelicanos is a new culinary gem by renowned chef Giorgos Samoilis. Boasting stunning views of the Aegean Sea, this bistro offers an array of delectable seafood dishes that showcase the freshness of local ingredients. A must-try is their langoustines with bottarga and lemon, a dish celebrated for its bold flavors and unique textures.
Had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Pelicanos! After a month of traveling around Italy and Greece this was our food highlight. The setting right on the bay while the sun set was beautiful, the food and wine was all delicious and the staff were lovely and very attentive. Could not recommend it highly enough!

The location is stunning. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Almost everything we ate was very good. Do not get the chocolate tart. You are setting yourself up for heartache. It’s rubbish (lacking in flavor, texture and any kind of indulgence), it’s way more expensive than the orange cake, it’s 1/4 the size of the orange cake and the orange cake is amazing. The grilled cheese was very nice, but could do with some of the sauce that comes with the churros as a dipping option. The place is very spendy. London prices in Greece is kind of wild. But the pork was cooked to perfection. The churros were a show stopper and the gyoza was an interesting and cool take on classic Greek cuisine. All that being said, it was odd that every table around us was given some kind of clear mystery drink in a stemmed glass upon paying their bills, but we were not afforded that luxury.

Absolutely delicious and fresh Greek food! We loved everything we ordered — fresh tomato salad (always), the comforting orzo, and the perfectly grilled fish. The side of sea vegetable with the fish was such a pleasant surprise; as someone from Asia, I was instantly reminded of the “wok hey” we associate with truly great cooking — such a good sign! The view from our table was amazing! (if you arrive early you get to pick where you wanna sit), and the warm, friendly staff made us feel genuinely welcome. We ended up spending almost two and a half hours, just soaking in the atmosphere. It was a wonderful dining experience and a highlight of our Sifnos trip — highly recommended!

What a delight. It was such a glorious setting on the beach that's the ticket. The food was a little over priced but was exceptional flavours that came out of it. The service was amazing and the vibe on the beach was so good with a sense of space and allowing the experience to.dine with sand underfoot a real treat

A very nice dinner experience overlooking the sea. We really loved the starters and sharing with friends. The main dishes are very consistent and better to be shared. A great location with friendly service!

One of the tastiest restaurants in Sifnos! We had a quick lunch and we tried the seafood orzo and chips. Both amazing! Cocktails were tasty. It is next to the beach and has amazing atmosphere. The staff is friendly

This place was lovely, service great but food fell a little short of our expectations. The short rib was a little salty and dry, the gyoza and the red shrimp oshizushi lacked a little flavour despite the lovely presentation …we loved the grilled octopus and crab cacio e pepe …we will definitely come again, and thanks to our fantastic waitress!

This was our most expensive lunch on the island because of this fish but wow, this fish! Grilled so beautifully and seasoned well - I will be reminiscing for years to come. We did order a total of 4 items + drinks for 2 people over a couple hours, so the big tab was worth it. We even took quick dips in the sea between dishes. Service was friendly, knowledgeable, and never hurried. Such a lovely experience!

Loggia Wine Bar, a creation of wine-loving music-industry friends, offers a delightful combination of Greek wines, cheese, music, and stunning views overlooking Kastros Seralia beach. The bar boasts an impressive selection of over 100 bottles of biodynamic low-intervention Greek wines, with many available by the glass. Visitors praise the carefully curated wine list filled with hidden gems and commend Nikos for his extensive knowledge and humble demeanor.
A must wine bar and sunset spot in Sifnos. Very nice wine options and beautiful views. We found the service to be extremely attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Didn’t try the food, the menu looked nice but pricey and fairly limited. But loved all the wine options especially the Greek orange wine and the somm’s description. We came on a Tuesday, no reservation but arrived 10 minutes before they opened and had no problem getting a table. Didn’t experience what the other bad reviews said, so only have nice things to say.

Beautiful location and incredible during sunset. Wines are so expensive but I think it’s intentional to make you stay for one wine and leave or spend a small fortune. Worth a visit if you can get a booking or wait in the line.
Ellie M — Google review
Loggia Wine Bar is truly amazing when it comes to landscape and atmosphere — the view alone makes it worth a visit. However, the service could be improved a lot, which would really elevate the whole experience. The food was just okay; for example, the cheese plate cost 10€ but only came with four small strips, which felt strange. I had made a reservation 1.5 months in advance, and I definitely recommend booking ahead if you don’t want to wait. Overall, it’s worth going for the spectacular view, but not for the culinary experience or the friendliness of the staff.

Atmosphere is amazing and so romantic. You have a panoramic view of Aegean sea which is very beautiful. Service could have been improved alot. They kept people waiting in the queue even though they had free people just to show off that they are busy. Staff behaviour is mixed, there is a nice guy which is welcoming however a younge french lady which is super rude to guests! Also, prices are so high and they even expect a tip for that price!!

Get a table before sunset — watching the island slowly fade into dusk has been one of our favorite experiences. The service is fantastic, the food selection is precise and absolutely delicious, and last but not least, the wine list. They offer an extensive yet carefully curated selection that can satisfy every palate. On top of that, their knowledgeable sommelier is always ready to guide you through the details and pairings.

Our group of 5 had a 9pm reservation on a Friday night and it was the highlight of our trip to Sifnos. We had Bertram waiting on us and we loved his suggestions of bottles, all served with a detailed explanation of the wines and what to expect. They were all delicious - the vibes are high and the location is unbeatable.

Rude staff, completely uninterested in us, had to call them multiple times to grab their attention, while noticing they gave special treatments to older and money-bringing clients. Overall insanely pricey for the amount of food, which was indeed outstanding, but the rest of the experience made it regrettably bitter for us.

Nestled in the charming village of Artemonas near the picturesque monastery of Poulati, Bostani Bar & Restaurant is a renowned dining destination. Surrounded by a fragrant herb garden and offering stunning views of the Aegean Sea, this award-winning gem provides an ideal setting to indulge in creative Greek cuisine.
Ok the rating is from a fine-dining perspective (we are like even casual dining with local fresh food): So location is stunning, you will be seated fast and friendly. We have ordered à la carte. There is no greetings from the kitchen. Which is fine. The staff is super friendly, kind of fast it is not very personal, because the waiter has changed couple of times (which didnt lead to any confusion). We had fish tartarte which was great, bit like a ceviche without peruvian touch. A green salad wirh truffles (which was ok, but not worth the 24€) and a strawberry tomato salad which was a real champion!!! Started as a salat and later become to a kond of cold soup like gazpacho, because of the cucumber sorbet (very nice idea). Than we had an incredible squid, best I had so far in my life and a stunning sea bream. We have shared all plates wirh my wife from the amount this was quite ok. As dessert we had the ekmek kaidaifi, which leaned of the turkish original and was a very nice Interpretation. at all a nice experience. i think it is a bit overpriced, but of course it pretends to be luxury and to be fair with the ambiance it is great. But its not built to bring great food to people to change minds (you can make you own interpretation) Special mention for natural wine lovers the retsina. is a must to try!

The food and the location are wonderful. We had a nice range of dishes with seafood and meat and some excellent vegetable dishes. The fish was superbly cooked with a crisp skin and soft inside. The service I expected the be a bit more attentive at this price level. At times there was quite some waiting between dishes and it took a while to order dessert. The dining area is located outside and it can be a bit windy. We were in a very good spot though and the views is marvellous. Overall a very enjoyable experience, would definitely go again. Think cliffside elegance with views that make you stop in your tracks. Bostani is the kind of restaurant that truly captures the magic of dining in Sifnos—picturesque, refined, and deeply rooted in the island’s culinary traditions. A rare gem that’s an absolute must for any traveler visiting the island. Inspired by the home garden it’s named after, Bostani takes a seasonal, ingredient-driven approach to Sifnian cuisine. Much of the produce is grown onsite or sourced from trusted farms across Sifnos and the Cyclades, which makes every dish feel deeply connected to the land. We dined as a group of 11 and took full advantage of the share-style menu, ordering nearly every dish so we could try it all. Highlights from our entrees included the beef tartare, tomatoes with strawberries, green salad, zucchini, calamari, and the local chickpeas. For mains, we savored the lobster mac & cheese, pork, goat, fish of the day, and prime rib—each dish expertly prepared and beautifully presented. To finish, we couldn’t resist trying all three desserts: the Ekmek Kadaifi, orange pie, and milk pie. We paired our meal with a few bottles of the Oros white dry wine from Akrathos Newlands Winery, which complemented everything perfectly. With a relaxed yet elevated atmosphere and guests of all ages, Bostani is ideal for families, couples, or groups. It’s a truly special dining experience that celebrates the heart and soul of Sifnian food.

What an amazing restaurant! Definitely a must go in Sifnos. Amazing view and very tasty dishes. The salad was OK, probably it lacked taste a bit probably because the tasteless tomatoes. And the ekmek kadayifi was fine, but I would expect a different dish, but apparently Greeks do it this way with custard. The chickpea and the lobster mac and cheese pasta were really good. We also liked the cocktails and the wine selection.

Simply Amazing! This is fine dining at its best. From the second we arrived we had outstanding service, and we could get all the meals to share between the two of us. We ordered 2 starters, 2 main dishes, and 2 signature cocktails. Bostani did not dissappoint. The food really showed Sifnos' reputation of great food culture. All employees were very kind. The atmosphere was also wonderful. We pretty much got our next dish before finishing the previous one, but it was not stressful in any way, just good service.

Short story: food ok/good, service bad and arrogant, ambiente great, a place for instagram people… Long story: We booked a table online, and due to the short notice, confirmation via WhatsApp was fast. We added in the field „dietary restrictions“ that one of us doesn‘t eat fish. We got a great table with a beautiful view and were approached by a young waiter(1) handing us the menu and asking for allergies. We confirmed that one of the guests did not eat fish. It was not an allergy but personal preference. Other than expected, the „a la carte“ menu was different than the one in their website. Instead of waiter 1 showing up again, it took ages and waiter 2 showed up and explained that the menu online was from last year. Anyway. We ordered inter alia bread and butter. Waiter 3 brought the starters, while waiter 4 collected the plates afterwards. While finishing the bread I wondered what “Bottarga” was, googled it, and found out it is fish roe. It was the orange stuff on the butter. I confronted waiter 4 who started to argue a bit but also wanted to double check it with her colleagues. Waiter 1 arrived again to ask again if it’s a personal preference or allergy and then told us they only remove things if it’s an allergy. We once again pointed out it was also written in the dietary restriciton with our reservation. Waiter 1 then tried to explain that fish roe (Bottarga) is not fish, just a product from the fish and we are wrong. We’re still shocked that a waiter tries to explain to a lawyer that something that is cut out of the fish’s belly is not fish. Bostani waiters should check how bottarga is made. It’s the roe string extracted from the fish’s belly. For me, it still counts as fish if someone says he doesn’t like fish! Mistakes happen, but the question is how you deal with it. The waiter 4 preferred to argue, telling us that “Bottarga” was written in the menu and did not give any sign of being sorry or that it was a mistake. Since we wanted to enjoy the evening together, we did not google every word on the menu prior ordering and kept our phones in the pockets and relied on the waiter to guide and help. But the waiters at Bostani are rather a faceless dinner-plate-shuttle than professional and hospitable. Waiter 5 served the main course, the pork was ok (overpriced), the fish was very good to be honest. Many waiters walked by, no waiter asked how the food tasted in between, no waiter filled the glasses and when we finished no waiter felt responsible to take care of the finished plates. Waiter 3 which we hadn’t really talked to so far, showed up and cleaned the table. We also asked for the bill. Waiter 2 showed up with the bill which had 2 drinks on it which we never ordered nor consumed and walked away. After some minutes waiter 2 showed up again, took the bill and came back with a new bill, this time corrected. In crowd control and conflict solving, the option “face change” is sometimes used to solve problems between two people or parties. Bostani uses the option “face change” to create problems and conflicts. During the payment process I gave the advice that with only one face this problem would not have arisen, but once again, I was wrong and waiter 2 told me this is not the concept of the restaurant. If waiter 1 would’ve served the food, she could’ve known that there is Fish on the butter which one doesn’t like. If waiter 1 would’ve brought the bill, she would’ve known that these drinks did not belong to our bill. If waiter 1 would’ve taken care of us this evening she would’ve deserved tip, if 5 waiters show up, I don’t tip since I don’t know who to tip. What we expected? - 1 friendly and professional waiter - good food - a manager that shows up to take responsibility for mistakes that happens What we enjoyed the most? - the way home to Stamna Hotel with the knowledge that we’re going to have a great breakfast the morning after. Perhaps we were not „fancy“ enough to fit in this concept and also to know what “Bottarga” is by heart… but the attitude of the waiters is unacceptable.

Cayenne Restaurant Art Gallery is a charming spot located in the heart of a bustling city street. The restaurant offers delicious menu options and also features an art gallery, providing a unique dining experience. Guests can enjoy beautifully presented dishes, such as fresh tuna with orzo salad and chickpea soup, all served in a picturesque setting next to a traditional Greek church.
Wow, wow!! The most perfect lunch in the most perfect setting. The owner/chef Nikolaus, his waiter son and the other waiter we met were lovely friendly and kind. The food and wine were of the highest order. I would struggle to recall a more perfect lunch anywhere! Lovely art gallery as well. Highly recommended. Yammas xx

I enjoyed the place for its atmosphere and vibes; it had lovely decor, well-presented dishes, and interesting flavors. It might be a bit overpriced as some were small portions, but I guess that’s expected from a more gourmet-style restaurant. I recommend order different dishes and share!

It's one of the few times i feel sorry that I can't put si stars. This is a true art experience. Don't worry about the size of the portions or the price. There are burgers that cost more than one of these plates. Come to Cayenne if you want to feel the explosion of your taste buds around archaic and super modern combinations of savours. The chef is an artist. You only need to embrace his art and let yourself travel in a journey of taste. One of my top restaurants in the past ten years.

Without doubt the best food I ate during my week on Sifnos. Inventive and delicious, some of the dishes, particularly the Tuna Tartare were worthy of a Michelin star restaurant. Other highlights included the Scallops and an incredible mushroom risotto. Wonderful attentive service too and a great sense of passion and pride for their food, rightly so! Outstanding quality all round.

An amazing experience at Cayenne ! And a big part of it was because of the waiter Dimitris. Great food, cozy, beautiful artwork from the chef both on walls and in the plates. Dimitris has been extremely helpful with our 2 children and made our evening special. Thank you !
Tom S — Google review
Food was tasty, but way to pricey for what you get (lacking some on flavors, and definitely on portion size). Service was friendly, and the place itself and atmosphere is also really nice. However, we left with a negative feeling as we felt a bit ripped off due to how overpriced everything is compared to other places on the island (eg: small coke is 5€, 5 tiny pieces of halloumi 12€). We also had to go for dessert somewhere else to feel satisfied due to small portions.
Tomas C — Google review
My view is that this is a place for tourists. There wasn’t anything BAD, everything was fine - but the prices are too high for what you get. The portions are small (for example, the chicken says on the menu that you get 400g but it was 200g AT BEST, and I did mention this but the waiter disagreed and suggested that it gets smaller when cooked and therefore looks much less - but I don’t buy that, like I also cook chicken at home). Other dishes were good (the fish dishes tasted really nice), but for 30 euros, a half piece of fish and some lentils isn’t gonna cut it. The drinks are also priced a bit off - €4 for still water that is €2 everywhere else in town; €5 for a coke that is usually max €3 elsewhere on the Island. This place sticks out a bit because Sifnos doesn’t really have restaurants that make you feel like you’re being just a little bit ripped off. Unfortunately we left with that feeling a bit. I think the fundamentals here are good - but my suggestion is to take the pattern of feedback in the reviews seriously and make some adjustments.

This was one of the best meals I’ve had in Greece. I went by myself so I was only able to have two dishes. Both were spectacular. The pork souvlaki was perfectly cooked. Tender and well seasoned. Kelari is a traditional, family-run taverna located just off the main road, a short walk from Apollonia. Since 1988, this charming eatery has been serving up authentic Sifnian cuisine, with a focus on meat dishes and hearty meals cooked in an old wood-fired oven. Guests can choose to dine in the courtyard under vine-covered pergolas or inside amidst olive oil-processing artifacts.
Wow! If you want a real, authentic Greek meal, THIS IS THE SPOT! Mom and Dad work together in the kitchen, while their son who has a full time job also helps them at the restaurants for three nights a week that they’re open. This was by far our favorite dinning experience in Greece (Athens, Milos, Sifnos, Santorini). Amazing service, amazing fun and beautiful family charm. A MUST! I highly recommend a reservation.

I almost don’t want to share this place — it’s that good. Perfect Greek home cooking with fresh, flavorful ingredients, all made in a wood-fired oven. Very nice local restaurant with tasteful dishes. They use fresh and good quality ingridients. We visit this restaurant during our staying in sifnos the last 4 years and the quality remains excellent. We have tried traditional cooked dishes and lamb chops. You should do a table reservation and extra reservation for lamb chops the last 2 years (which we find extremely ridiculous). You have to try Imam. The staff are really friendly and overall is a pleasant experience!!

Authentic Greek food, gracious/ hard-working waitstaff - simple but delicious food , very reasonably priced (try the tiropitakia). Tip: need a reservation, we saw several parties turned away, who did not have one.

We had dinner at Kelari in Sifnos and really enjoyed the experience. The food was of great quality, full of flavour, and very well cooked. Portion sizes were generous, making it excellent value compared to many other places. The outdoor setting is beautifully done, with a stylish Cycladic feeling that creates a very pleasant atmosphere for dining. The staff were friendly and professional, though it was clear towards the end of the evening that they were tired. We were the last customers, and while it’s understandable that the team wanted to wrap up and go home, it was a little too obvious that they were waiting for us to leave. A touch more subtlety would have made the ending smoother. Overall, though, a very good restaurant with delicious food and a lovely environment — definitely worth visiting.

Perivoli Restaurant in Artemonas offers a delightful dining experience in its outdoor garden setting. The menu features modern Greek cuisine with dishes like crusted tuna and open-faced spanakopita. Tucked away past Cafe Mosaic, the restaurant boasts a lovely orchard setting and serves Greek food with a twist. Guests praise the 2-tiered terraced balcony, attentive service, and delicious food presented beautifully. The portions are generous, and the atmosphere is described as incredible.
We had an amazing night at this "hidden" garden. The dishes were beautifully presented, the atmosphere was lively yet relaxing, and the service was excellent. We started with the green salad with apricot. As a big fan of fruits in my salad, I personally loved it—the mix of textures made it really interesting. Then came the two appetizers. All of them had beautifully harmonized flavors and delightful tastes. Of the two, the most outstanding dish was the grilled aubergine—perfectly cooked and melting in the mouth. Next, we were served the ravioli, a plate full of flavors yet so well balanced. For the main course, we chose the special of the day: a generous portion of meat, perfect for sharing. When sharing, they offer the option to have different levels of cooking in case you and your dining partner have different preferences. For our tastes, the steak was perfectly cooked—just as we asked. Very juicy and rich in flavor, it stood on its own; you didn’t even need a side dish. There’s always room for dessert, and we had to try the carob brownie. It had a lovely, creamy texture, and the sweetness was just right. We really enjoyed this meal—hope you will as well!

There is nothing quite like Perivoli. I’m basing all my visits to Sifnos around dining here. The people are incredible, the food, divine! The atmosphere is beyond. Farm to table, ages to perfection steaks, lobster perfection??? Deserts to make you cry with joy??? This is your place. There are many reasons I dined here 3 out of 10 days for dinner. My lovely server even came by on her day off to wish me well on my journey home. Come here, become family. And prepare to eat more than your stomach & eyes can handle. I highly recommend having a starving belly. Drink the indigenous wine with the local fare, they go together. Look for some lovely katydids in the trees and listen to the soothing resonance of night reverberations.

we had a wonderful dinner experience here! food was exquisite: - housemade sourdough bread and butter: some of the best bread we’ve had on Sifnos, and the butter (sun-dried tomato? cheese?) was a delightful surprise - calamari: such a great combination of flavors, roasted kale (we missed kale so much), artichoke, grilled generous pieces of squid, and a bright sauce with a lovely citrus note. outstanding dish - grilled chicken: also very delicious, mushroom soufflé was alright but the chicken was just perfect, perfectly cooked with a delicious glaze we weren’t too hungry so we ordered light but the portions were good sizes! for the quality of food, beautiful setting, and attentive service, the price was reasonable. also loved the delicious house made strawberry vodka they provided on the house at the end of the meal! 10/10 recommend coming here while you’re in Sifnos

We were extremely disappointed with our experience at Perivoli. Despite having a reservation, we waited 30 minutes to be seated. The only highlight was the salad, which was fresh and well-prepared. However, the main courses were significantly delayed, and when they arrived, the meats were completely wrong in terms of cooking. The staff's attitude made things worse; they offered no apologies or even basic courtesy. I understand restaurants can have off days, but the lack of accountability or kindness was unacceptable.

Fish restaurant
Located in the picturesque fishing village of Seralia, Captain Sifakis is a delightful seafood taverna situated on a small bay with pebbly shores. It offers a charming ambiance and serves delectable fresh seafood dishes straight from their family fishing boat. The restaurant can be reached by taking either the right path or another route that leads to a concrete platform near the invigorating sea.
We absolutely loved our experience at Captain Sifakis! This family-owned business treats you like part of their family. The captains brother greeted us to show us all the catches of the day before we went upstairs to sit at the rooftop dining area. The view was beautiful with Kastro above and the Mediterranean below. We were staying in Kastro and enjoyed taking the stairs down to Paralia Seralia (if you run into some hissing geese, just say hi and skirt around them). There’s only a few buildings down in the area and the restaurant is well-marked and easy to find. The bread with tzatziki is a perfect way to start. We enjoyed the greek salad with vinegar-marinated octopus and bonus sardines that his mother made for us. We also loved the renowned calamari, which was delicate and perfectly fried. Our meal closed out with a delicious dessert of Greek yogurt, honey and candied queece, also made by his mother, which was the perfect sweet treat. Their wine selection was good, and he is knowledgeable in helping pair with your meal! This was the most authentic and personal dining experience we had in Greece and look forward to visiting again in the future

Very nice family of fishermen. You select your fish on entry to the restaurant so be prepared! They pointed out a fish that their son had caught 10 mins prior off the pier. Service was personable and very friendly. Great stuff :)
Romiana V — Google review
Wonderful dinner! Captain Sifakis is a true fish tavern, family-owned restaurant and super nice service. As we entered we had the chance to choose our fish (caught during the same day by the brother of the owner) and they cooked it as we wanted, the price was really affordable for the great quality that we got. last two pros: the super attentive service ( they offered us an handmade tuna as we sat at the table and a wonderful little dessert as we finished the dinner) and the stunning view. probably the best dinner here in Sifnos
Carlotta L — Google review
It was one of the best meals we had in Sifnos, with spectacular views. You choose your fresh fish of the day, and they cook it for you! Delicious and generous!
Stefan B — Google review
Amazing food, all fish is fresh and you get a taste of the real Greek cuisine and hospitality! The people are very polite, service is fast and the vibe really nice. I highly recommend the place, also an amazing view 😊
Evelina F — Google review
We went for dinner and the main issue for us was the price and the service: we paid way to much for what we ate and for the quality of the food. The fish was fresh but really badly cooked, water coffee and beer extremely overpriced. The service was quite sad and unprofessional. The location could be nice if better arranged and if the service would take care more. I liked the moussaka out of everything it wasn’t bad
Anna C — Google review
Captain Sifakis was such a special and authentic dining experience. As soon as we arrived, we were taken to choose our fish, freshly caught that day by the owner himself — his fishing boat is moored just out the front, which really sets the tone. We chose the snapper, which was cooked to perfection and paired simply with potatoes and a Greek salad. Everything was fresh, honest, and delicious. The setting is beautiful, right on the water, and while the service was just okay, the whole experience felt so real and unpolished in the best way. We thoroughly enjoyed it — a true Sifnos highlight.

Located just a few meters from the beach, Kafenes offers a serene dining experience in its garden shaded by pergolas and grapevines. The restaurant also has a cozy indoor area for winter visits. Visitors rave about the delicious dishes made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, such as the mouthwatering Kafenes salad and comforting moussaka. The setting, transitioning from an inner courtyard to a garden path leading to the beach, adds to the pleasant dining experience.
This is a gift from the gods. We had the owner and chef come and explain his specials for the day. We took his recommendations and they were simply amazing. Feelings of care and home cooked food with pride and care. Coming back because there is so much to enjoy

Incredibly delicious food with local ingredients. The family working there was very welcoming and friendly. If you're and adventurous eater,I still dream of the grilled goat livers. The chef also included hearts that really sent the dish over the top.

The food was full of flavour and the service and atmosphere are charming. We had the saganaki, dakos, rabbit stew, and sticky date pudding with drinks - great value for such a wonderful meal. I wish we had time to return!

Amazing restaurant - the service was excellent and the head waiter was very knowledgeable on local cuisine, history and animals. The food was also delicious and seemed very traditional (based on our experience although we are not Greek). Definitely recommend eating here for a peaceful dinner with ocean sounds and chirping of birds.

The BEST of Sifnos!!!!! Sadly we left this place for last on our trip, otherwise we would have come back multiple times for dinner. Local dishes with fresh harvested herbs and homemade recipes make the whole experience amazing. And the chef makes sure that he’s the one picking up your order and explaining all dishes. Make sure you order TODAY’S SPECIAL for the freshest meals!! Highly recommend to all food lovers and good food appreciators 🩵

Cafe
Lost Bay Cocktail Bar Restaurant in Platis Gialos, Sifnos, is a beachfront establishment offering an extensive menu of 200 cocktails curated by a world championship bartender. The bar provides luxurious cocktails, lunch and dinner options, as well as coffee drinks and other alcoholic beverages. While it offers limited sunbeds at the front, there is ample table seating in the back. It's recommended to arrive early to secure a seat as umbrellas are not available for the sunbeds.
Amazing decor and vibe! A nice and chill place by the sea where you can spend many hours. It is overpriced but at least food is very tasty. Dishes also have a twist and are not the classic stuff. Stuff is very very kind! Would definitely go again but would be happier to find prices are more reasonable.
Eirini M — Google review
Overall a nice place to enjoy your drink and/or grab a bite. The atmosphere and the view makes it a very cozy place. The food was good, we ordered the Mediterranean Club Sandwich and the Quinoa salad. The quantities were fair to the prices, but I would prefer to have fresh grilled mushrooms in the Club Sandwich instead of canned (but that's subjective to each ones' taste preferences). The coffee we ordered was good as well. For the food, coffees and 1 bottle of water we paid 40,30 euro. The service was good also, but the waiters could become a bit more engaged by greeting the customers first rather than waiting for the customer to speak first. I definitely recommend the place!
Jimmy Z — Google review
We visited lost bay last week. Unfortunately, the food was from mediocre to even bad. We waited very long (50mins) for a plate of plain kids pasta that came without being properly boiled (and I mean you could break the pasta in 2). When we returned it, the pasta that we got was boiled but no flavor at all, no salt nor olive oil. The extra expensive Greek salad had no tomatoes to eat, because they were just tops of tomatoes and peels of tomatoes. Everything was good with drinks and coffee. Eventually, we were refunded for the food, but it really ruined all the good vibes and energy of our 1st day in the island.

Edit summer 2024: To my surprise while not much have changed regarding the llace itself the menu the service and the quality are definitely there. I Believe that in this area, this is your best all around option! Old review summer 2022: I believe this to be the best looking beach bar in the area, coffee was surprisingly good, mojito was average though. Service was friendly but not fast. However these are not reasons not to visit. I believe you will like the place.

We went for a quick drink and ended up staying three hours. It's a really pretty, open-air bar right on the beach. Terrific music (for an old hippie)! Service was very accommodating when we asked to switch tables. And they surprised us with an extra little cheese tray, which was a very nice treat. Sifnos - and the Lost Bay - became a favorite place in the Cyclades.
Jill H — Google review
Wow! What a gem we accidentally found here. Other places on the beach were trying to charge €40-50 per lounge chair just to sit so we walked along the beach and found this spot. He said they normally ask for a minimum consumption of €100 for the bed (for 2 people) for the day, but since they weren’t expecting a busy day we could sit and not worry about a minimum consumption. We arrived around 11am and was there until 5:00pm. Several rounds of drinks and an amazing club sandwich and it was €99. We started with some Freddo espressos, then transitioned to the hard stuff. Aperol Spritz all day. They were great. We shared a chicken club sandwich and even two of us couldn’t eat all the potatoes they sent. It was so good! We saw other food our neighbors ordered and the bao wraps looked great too! The day beds were super comfy and I think we both napped a little bit. The beach itself was super nice. Calm waters and sandy. No water shoes were required. We had a young gentleman from Athens as our server and he was so great. Very friendly and attentive. Best beach spot on Sifnos!

I would consider Lost Bay the best beach bar at Platis Gialos Beach. Its got limited sunbeds at the front, but lots of table seating in the back. It's best to come early (open at 10am) to get a seat. One thing to note is that they don't have umbrellas at the sunbeds. The only shade you'll get is after 12:30pm on 2 or 3 sunbeds on the far right hand side sunbeds as you're facing the beach. Overall a great place to relax and enjoy a nice cocktail and some lunch.

Additionally, Gerontopoulos serves some of the finest ice cream that can be found anywhere.
We didn’t go to the main bakery, we went to their little shop on the street behind. The pastries (especially the Orange pie) and ice creams were really good ! The service was great, we were served by Andreas who made us want to come back every day of our stay to buy a new thing from him.

Nice place with view on the valley, relaxing atmosphere, food was good. I gave them 4 stars as I would have loved to receive the order at once, there was almost 20 mints between the orders. But the flavors were delicious and the juices were fresh and nice. Pro tip, play a play list instead of one song on the repeat 😉
Adel A — Google review
Terrible brunch experience. The coffee tasted awful. I ordered a yogurt bowl for €8.50 — barely any oats, like they just sprinkled a few on top as decoration. Maybe five strawberries total. Then came the omelette: everything inside was raw. Canned mushrooms thrown in cold, low-quality ham with a weird texture. No effort at all, just cheap ingredients thrown together. Totally overpriced. Feels like a tourist trap. Honestly insulting. Never again.
Pierre — Google review
This place is really special. If you approach it by the main road, by the bus stop, it looks nice, but you really need to go into the terrace to appreciate how lovely it is. If you enter from the back you enter a stunning enclosed garden/patio. This establishment is a patisserie, tony shop and restaurant. They stock a huge selection of homemade treats, and you can watch them make and package these goodies by hand. They also have a lovely wine shop next door, €10 for a very nice wine. The first time we went we had a croissant and coffee. The croissant was HUGE, delicious and warm. The lovely, blonde owner said that as we were there at 8:00am we got to enjoy them fresh from the oven - bliss. The coffee was wonderful, and served with a delicious cinnamon biscuit. These were so delicious I bought a big bag of them. We came back another day for lunch and had a superb chicken club, huge. The glass of wine I had was delicious and generous. Highly recommended.

This note is strictly for the coffee and breakfast. 8.50 euros for a bowl of yogourt and a sprinkle of un cooked Oats is not acceptable. Not even in Switzerland (where i live) do you get this kind of value for money. "Spécial omelette" with fresh vegeatbles for 11 euros that comes out with tinned Mushrooms and 2 thin slices of raw Peppers, once again is shocking. Not ok. Even if you're in a touristy area you should still aim to serve good food especially if you're going to put a ridiculous price for it.

The location of this cute Greek taverna is unmatchable. The scenery is so relaxing and picturesque. One can enjoy a dive in the crystal clear waters at Cherronissos and then sit and relish the unparalleled taste of fresh fish while thoroughly relaxing while gazing at the amazing and serene natural setting. DO NOT BELIEVE NEGATIVE REVIEWS! Do expect: a fully authentic small local fishing village taverna. The food was delicious, the view is something that people travel half way around the world for. Come with plenty of time, relaxed, and ready to enjoy a slow pace and a beautiful waterfront view. As a small local taverna there is one gentlemen that is half owner/manager/head cook and a women who is taking care of all the tables. The gentlemen will show you all of the fresh fish that are left that were caught same day. Both work hard to ensure you have a delicious meal. When you walk up, do not expect to be greeted by a hostess or someone to seat you. Get the eye of the server and point to an open table. You will get a yes or no. If you wait…you will wait forever as is normal. Enjoy this treat!

Unique location by the sea. Fried small fish was really fresh, the Greek salad with mizithra cheese was amazing . Marinated octopus 🐙 was also very tasty! Definitely a must visit for lunch by the sea shore!!!

We loved this little tavern. Yes, you are on a lesser know Greek island in a sleepy seaside village (very small), EVERYTHING moves slower. Including the service. But come on, just relax and take in what is around you. This place is an absolute gem for the tired soul. The staff are very friendly and the owner is such a pleasure! We loved the food although we are by no means foodies, I can just say we loved both meals we had during our time in the area. Excellent fresh fish. Good wine!!

Fantastic local restaurant in a beautiful setting. We’ve eaten here in August and despite of being high season we only had to wait 5 min to get a table, the staff is nice and the food is local and very fresh, fish and seafood direct from the boat from the owner, what else can you ask for? The price is a bit higher than a local tavern but you are in a secluded place so doesn’t surprise me.
Macarena M — Google review
Positives: The tavern is undeniably located in a beautiful setting. Negatives: Unfortunately, we had to wait over 45 minutes before any food began to arrive. One of the two main dishes never came, and we eventually had to cancel it. The food quality was average at best—there are definitely better tavern options on the island. I would not suggest it, but the only two taverns in this place make it a bit tricky not to sit and eat there :(
Chris M — Google review
This is absolutely one place you should not miss on your trip to Sifnos. The fish is cooked impeccably, the location is surreal and the owner is still cooking in the ways his mother taught him years ago. Do not miss a chance to eat here!

Lunch by the beach in Sifnos. Nice place, good food, great setting. Everything was solid and I had a good time. Just needed a bit more care in the service and dishes to hit five stars. Still, a place I’d recommend.

Lovely lunch spot on the beach! We got there just as they opened at 1 pm and by time we left about an hour later, every table was full. Served fairly quickly. Yummy Greek salad (now a staple for us at every meal) and the local chickpea soup special. Delicious and comforting. With a basket of bread this was more than enough for two. Varied menu. A little $ than some other places on island but delicious.

Kafeneio Drakakis is a traditional Greek taverna located on the main path of Apollonia. It offers a great ambience and good service, serving tasty meze. While some visitors find the food to be nothing special, others rave about the wonderful Greek and Sifnian dishes. The restaurant is often busy, but worth the wait according to many patrons. Highlights include fresh and delicious dishes such as chickpea balls and pork belly with honey.
This is my favorite restaurant that I went to during my week long stay in Sifnos. It was so good I went back twice! It’s the perfect blend of traditional cuisine and modern cooking. I tried the zucchini balls with yogurt, the slow cooked octopus with orzo, the sausages with hummus, the Greek salad, and the traditional Greek pasta with brown butter. The restaurant is located on the main pedestrian street in Apollonia, so it’s also a great place to people watch. If you are like me and came to Sifnos for its food scene, I would highly recommend you add Drakakis to your list!

Charming spot on a busy street. This restaurant has a nice atmosphere and a lively location. The food was enjoyable overall, though it leaned slightly toward a more commercialized style rather than truly authentic flavors. We tried the chickpea croquettes, mushrooms with halloumi, and chicken skewers

Prices are a bit on the high end, but the overall experience is totally worth it.

This was one of the best dining experiences in Sifnos. The place is nestled in the heart of Apollonia, it retains the original style and features of the Kafeneyo refreshed with curated photography and some modern design. This is also reflected on the menu, traditional with a modern twist. The food was amazing, fresh, tasty and served in generous portions. The wine selection includes interesting options, we had a pet nat from Santorini that was excellent. Spiro was super kind, friendly and helpful! Thank you for a lovely night !

We had an absolutely wonderful dinner in Apollonia! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Spiros, who served us, was an absolute delight – friendly, attentive, and even spoke Spanish, which made the evening even more enjoyable and comfortable. Every dish we tried was simply delicious. The flavors were fresh, authentic, and beautifully prepared. From starters to main courses, everything exceeded our expectations, and it was clear that great care and passion went into the cooking. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to enjoy a relaxed and memorable meal. This restaurant is truly a must-visit on the island. Between the amazing food, excellent service, and Spiros’ exceptional hospitality, our dinner here was one of the highlights of our trip. We will definitely be coming back on our next visit to Sifnos!

Manolis was a beloved figure in Vathi, and even though his son now runs the restaurant, his spirit lives on. The restaurant is known for its authentic Sifniot cuisine and is considered one of the best in Greece. Visitors are encouraged to trust the waiter's recommendations and indulge in the delicious food and wine. The atmosphere exudes a homey kitchen vibe with attention to detail. Diners love the authentic Greek taverna feel, fresh food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices.

Best local taverna we’ve visited on Sifnos (so far) considering the location - Quintessentially Greek! Food was good - A generous Greek salad and freshly caught fish, which unfortunately was slightly overcooked. 100% worth visiting!

You’re spending almost all your day at the beach.. sun-kissed and quite sleepy.. you are ready to go back yo your hotel but this side table of this tavern right next to the sea cannot let you go just like that.. you sit, order a beer (take the draft) and then something to eat.. they specialize in meat so focus there - i loved their moussaka- .. and look at the sea, alongside with some lovely lazy cats, and your soul will thank you later.. little bonus, old time classic greek music in the background makes your soundtrack of the day.. creating your precious memory that will last..💖

We spent a week on Sifnos and this place provided us with our best meal. We were eating traditional Greek food and didn't try the expensive new Greek restaurants with crusted seafood and cevichie! We had the best zucchini balls .... we tried them in about 5 other places. The grilled prawns were fresh and amazing. Frozen in so many other places. The chicken soulvaki was huge and marinated in mild mustard. We enjoyed the food, the service and the setting of the restaurant. We would happily return.

Fantastic. Beautiful spot on the waters edge and the food was great. We ended up going twice and both nights had a great evening. Very reasonable pricing too. 100% must go when in Vathi.
Peter S — Google review
We were so disappointed, the service was not good, to the point the waiter seemed almost annoyed he had to actually serve us! We felt unnerved as whilst we were waiting (a long time) to actually place our order, a customer was querying their bill as their card had been charged twice. The restaurant were not prepared to refund her. I almost walked out at this point, I wished we had as the food we were eventually served was the worst I have experienced in the whole of the island. The lamb was old, tough and just a plate of bones and fat. We sent it back. The anchovies were dry,I did not want to risk eating and how you can go wrong with a greek salad I do not know. The feta was old, the tomato's hard and tasteless. Cut corners on the quality of the produce you use and it shows. The filo sesame cheese the worst I have ever had. We paid cash as we were to scared to use a card. Avoid at all cost.

The best food we had in Greece. Food so good I broke my usual rule while travelling and went back not twice, but three times. Beautiful, fresh flavours, great value, and simply delicious. Sifnos is beautiful in so many ways and Passione Italiana is one of them.

Cute Italian resturant right on the water. Big menu with lots of appetisers, pizzas and pastas. Food came out quickly and was fresh and delicious. We ordered 3 pizzas and a pasta. Everything was amazing! Service was great and staff were friendly. Highly recommend if you’re wanting good Italian food.

Very nice seaside Italian restaurant in Kamares. The pizza was very tasty we tried also a salad and a starter and they were delicious as well. The staff was very friendly and we recommend reservation in high season as the number of tables is limited. Overall a nice experience!!

Here's a story about a Neapolitan Pizza expert that moves to Sifnos and make possibly the tastiest pizza in the world. When in Sifnos do not miss Passione Italiana. I want to have the pasta but I just can't resist the pizza. The staff is so friendly too. We love this restaurant especially when you have a table by the water. ❤️

Loved this place! Had a delicious arugula salad with grated cheese and a classic “Special” pizza with red sauce, ham, mushrooms and peppers. A little seaside view and tourist watching. Complimentary Lemoncella at the end of meal. Super friendly service!

Seated by the water you get to enjoy most beautiful pizzas. The dough was the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend the Mortadella. The staff were so friendly and lovely. If you are craving Italian in Greece, come here!!!

We visit specifically because a lot of people praised their tiramisu, and oh boy they were right! Creamy, tasty and down right unique. While this was the reason we visited we ordered two plates of pasta and a salad. The salad itself was great, flavorful and about the right amount that you would expect. The past while not bad definitely not the best we had, mine was a bit hard to honest, but the hospitality and the service do deserve a 5/5. All in all, ii recommend it and i will revisit when i get back at Sifnos. 🙏

O Simos is a real restaurant in Kamares, Sifnos, known for its authentic Greek cuisine and friendly service. What sets it apart is that it has its own farm providing fresh ingredients for their dishes. Visitors praise the delicious traditional food, such as caper salad and chickpea soup, which are offered at affordable prices. The restaurant's location by the water offers a stunning view of the bay and town.
Amazing food and place. Greek local dishes are the best here, I recommend the goat and the bean soap but everything is just delicious. Price is very good and the view of the bay and beach is stunning. Also, very friendly and charming people working there. It has been a tradition in the family and you can really tell. I will come back for sure!

We got.off the ferry and were hungry. We came across O Simos and they had beautiful outdoor seating on the water. The food was very good. The service was excellent! The food came out hot and the presentation was good. The chickpea soup was very good, even though it wasn't Sunday. A great spot to have lunch or dinner. I would recommend.

I was not sure if to leave a review as I kind of wanted to keep this magic place to myself ❣️ In the crowd of all the people leaving and arriving is Sifnos, stands this tavern in the Main Street. All the personnel is smiley and gracious and really nice. Food is delicious, in the name of tradition but fresh, yummy and very very good

Our absolute favourite restaurant in all of Greece, stayed in sifnos for 5 days and came here every single night because nothing compared!! The food was just so fresh and tasty and every new dish we tried was just as good as the last. The servers were so kind and attentive and the vibe of the restaurant right over the water felt just magical. Quite affordable for the quality of the food as well. We’d specifically recommend the mousaka, the sardines, fried cheese and fried squid. We cannot recommend this beautiful place enough, everyone should dine here during their time in sifnos!

Astro is a charming traditional taverna in Greece that offers an awesome menu filled with authentic delicacies. The salads, especially the dakos, are highly recommended for their amazing flavors. The meatballs and eggplant dish is considered the best in the country, and the house white and red wines are simple yet delightful. The setting of Astro is incredible, with a raised balcony providing stunning views.
Amazing authentic food, I came for diner twice and had the best time. The dishes are full of flavours, the place is nice and the staff very friendly. One of my favorite (if not my favorite) tavern in Sifnos. Special love for the Gemista and Dakos

From farm table this little restaurant serves delicious local food. The lamb chops were amazing. The daughter who is the service speaks very good English and is a delight.

While wandering through the charming streets of Kastro after visiting the little church perched on the cliffside, we stumbled upon Astro Taverna — a beautiful, inviting spot that instantly caught our eye. A short climb up the stairs led us to a small balcony dotted with tables and chairs, overlooking the picturesque surroundings. The atmosphere felt truly authentic, with a menu full of traditional Greek dishes. Arriving late and feeling tired and hungry, we went for comforting, quick bites — sharing a Greek salad, feta, and saganaki to start. For mains, we each had spaghetti with meat sauce — the Greek take on spaghetti bolognese. While the pasta was simple, it completely hit the spot, and I polished off every bite. The whole experience was exactly what you’d hope for in a tiny Greek island village — friendly staff, quick service, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. Best of all, we could walk straight in without a wait. A hidden little gem worth visiting when in Kastro.
Clare D — Google review
It’s a pity that such a beautiful restaurant is not up to standard. There was a lack of music, incredibly understaffed workforce and undercooked food. I really hope this place learns a lesson from this summer because it has the potential to be the best on the island. Staff really made up for it by not charging us for the undercooked food.

We had a really nice dinner here. The staff were friendly, and although it was busy and we had to wait for a table for around 15 minutes, they were prompt with the clearing of the prior table and welcoming us in. The food was delicious and well priced. Can recommend!

Totally full of it. Tried to rent a pedal boat for my kid, they told me that the one and only guy who can handle it is out until later. Fine. Later we come back and the guy is just hanging out in the water. The guy from the café says that the boat guy told him that the police said he can't rent anymore because of the wind. It's not windy now nor is the forecast for wind until overnight. When I questioned it he told me that I always have an answer for everthng but they can't do it. I called another place in platis giallos (bloomarine) and the person there said that of course they are open, but will be closed tomorrow because of the wind. Which makes sense. These guys at Bolab are I assume doing something illegal and unsafe if the police told them not to rent. That's at best. At worst they are just rude liars. Also for what it's worth, at the cafe the food is not very good. Stay away. There are plenty of reputable operators and good cafes on Sifnos. This isn't one. They are just a garbage company. Edit: Not a half hour later as we were leaving the beach we could see that they had rented out at least one of the boats. So their response to this review - that there were dangerous winds in the forecast and they were being safety conscious - is patently a lie. Either that or they were willing to endanger the lives of other people's kids even as they gallantly protected mine. Draw your own conclusions.

NUS is a contemporary Greek taverna located on the popular resort beach, Platis Gialos. The chef and owner, Alexandros Narlis, draws inspiration from his roots and uses ingredients from his family farm, Narlis Farm near Appolonia. With experience gained from working in London restaurants like Ottolenghi and Skye Gyndells Spring, he brings modern techniques to traditional recipes.
On the beach, the vibe is lovely for lunch or dinner! The food is very tasty! Highly recommend. Reservations are recommended during high season to get a table especially the ones closer to the beach.

NUS, the name is mythical and pure magic to those who have dined here. I was blessed with this delightful place nearly to myself (early diner) and a kitty cat or two. I had no idea I was privileged to be dining at such a wonderful restaurant without even trying. My server was just darling, he deserved to be accoladed more than I can express here…. Eat anything. But for sure if they have the smoked chicken in a glass cloche, or the caper hummous with caper leaves, try those. The setting is also beyond imagination. I am so excited for my next visit!
Maggie M — Google review
NUS is an odyssey of flavors (see what I did there?) with a unique spin on classic Greek dishes. The chickpea falafel, beetroot salad, stuffed peppers, and triple-cooked potatoes were standouts, and the tomato with crispy caper leaves was a brilliant surprise. The staff was wonderful—patient, friendly, spoke great English, and offered excellent suggestions with genuine smiles. A must-visit on Sifnos.

Lovely experience at NUS. We enjoyed every part of the meal, right down to the best ice cream we’ve had - the roasted coconut. We managed to have a lot of variety in vegetarian meals which was an added bonus. Service was good, friendly waiter and (lots of) four-legged friends! A bit pricey but very well-worth the money, time and experience!!

Smaragdi Restaurant is a dining establishment that offers an exceptional culinary experience. Situated in an exquisite location, this eatery provides a delightful selection of dishes crafted with great skill and precision. The menu features a diverse array of gastronomic delights, showcasing the expertise of the talented chefs who create them. Customers can indulge in an assortment of delectable offerings that range from savory to sweet, all prepared with utmost care and attention to detail.
I recently visited Smaragdi in Sifnos for breakfast and had a great experience. The ambiance was charming, offering a comfortable and pleasant setting for a morning meal. I ordered the avocado toast, which was delicious. The bread was nicely toasted, and the avocado was fresh and well-seasoned. To go with it, I had a freshly squeezed orange juice that was very refreshing. My companion had a coffee and enjoyed it, noting its rich flavor and smooth texture. Special mention to our waiter, George, who was always smiling and had a good sense of humor. His friendly and attentive service made our visit even more enjoyable. On a second visit, we stopped by the bar, and Dimitris, the bartender, suggested we try the margaritas. They were amazing and added a fun twist to our experience. Overall, Smaragdi Cafe Restaurant provided a delightful experience, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Sifnos. We'll definitely consider returning.

Wonderful Fine Dining experience at Artemonas, Sifnos, Greece There isn’t another restaurant like Smaragdi on the island of Sifnos, one of the most beautiful of the Cyclades, and a bit of a hidden gem. Right at the entrance of the pleasant and car-free centre of Artemonas, Sifnos’ second-largest town, and opposite the beautiful Church of St. Constantine and Helen lies Smaragdi, a summertime restaurant that should be on the bucket list of every foodie who is visiting this marvellous island. Here Chef Adonis, who works in the winter time at one of the best seafood restaurants in Athens, Kollias, reigns the kitchen and cooks in his own unique and convincing style. The French would undoubtedly qualify Smaragdi as “vaut le voyage” (worth the trip). While you will most likely have an unforgettable holiday on this island full of stunning beauty, your taste buds may deserve better than the average moussaka and souvlaki that about every other restaurant will be serving. I stayed at Artemonas for one week, and after eating dinner at Smaragdi on the first day I was immediately hooked, and wanted to try out more. I returned for dinner for several more evenings, and sampled multiple choices of the menu. Adonis’ cooking is a creative combination of modern fusion cuisine, mainly based on the highest quality local produce that Greece – and in particular Sifnos – have to offer. While preserving the original flavours of the ingredients, such as tuna, beef, pork, cheese and many local vegetables, he interweaves them with complementary tastes and textures that enrich them to the upper limit. He doesn’t reproduce or translate the Greek cuisine, but builds an ingenious and inspiring fantasy version of it, combining deep technical skills with creativity. Adonis’ cooking is consistent, providing an equally high level of quality and surprises for every dish that he prepares. The menu is short, with 6 starters, 3 pasta/rice dishes, 4 salads, 4 main courses, and 4 deserts. But each and every of them will provide you with an explosion of tastes and textures. The portion sizes are more than decent, and it is very unlikely that you leave hungry, even if you had only one course. I was extremely impressed by the Sifnian pies with strawberry sauce and the Tune tartar with cucumber (both appetizers), the Black pasta with smoked salmon and cherry tomatoes, and the Pork chops with baked potatoes (both main courses), and the Parfait with halvah, crocan on kantaifi bed (desert). These simple names hide a culinary sophistication with which you will undoubtedly indulge yourself, just as with every other course on the menu. Smaragdi has an equally short but excellent wine selection, with some of the best Greek wines. Two wines that impressed me was a Kir Yiannis (2017), an excellent white wine from the Greek province of Macedonia, made of roditis and malagouzia grapes, and a red Papagianakos Estate, P.G.I. Attica (2015), from the famous Greek agioritiko grape variety combined with some cabernet sauvignon. Waiter Agelos, who is also the sommelier, will be more than ready to provide you with his expert advice. The waiting staff is very friendly, welcoming, and efficient. The atmosphere is very informal, as this is a summer holiday resort after all. Nobody will specifically dress up for dinner here, obviously. The background music is excellent easy listening/lounge music, with sufficient variation so that it never gets boring. There are several lounge couches at the terrace, where you may enjoy your after-dinner digestif or maybe an excellent cocktail from the very long bar menu. The bargirl does an outstanding job mixing drinks, too. Smaragdi doesn’t offer lunch, but from 8am-2pm (08:00-14:00) the restaurant (which is also linked to an affiliated hotel with the same name) also serves breakfast/brunch options that entail some interesting and very tasty choices. You should not visit Sifnos without dining at Smaragdi at least once! For the record: I paid for all my meals in full, and I have no affiliations with the restaurant, its staff or its owners.

Great setting and music, right on the beach with comfy sofas. I was there for a while writing and it was very nice and chill. The food is ok, nothing espectacular and I expected the coffee to be better, for a place that allegedly is a cafe-bar. But still, I guess the setting compensated for it. One thing though, they charged me for the bread even though I didn't want it and they didn't bring it out. Should have taken it to my room and have it for breakfast at least...so say yes to the bread 🤷🏻‍♂️

One of the worst salads I have had in Sifnos I ordered the Dakos, which ended up being a plate of wholemeal rusks with chopped tomatoes… no seasoning nor oil or vinaigrette… I asked staff for extra oil and seasoning to improve the taste… took over 15mins to arrive… Very disappointing, when compared to all the wonderful meals we have had on this island… Not worth the 9 euros they are charging for this…

Sunset in Troulaki is a hidden gem located on the road to Heronissos, offering a stunning view of the sunset and serving excellent grilled meats and Sifnos specialties. This family-owned restaurant boasts a magical ambiance with typical music, great hospitality, and genuine dishes made from natural homemade ingredients. Visitors rave about the breathtaking views, wide range of delicious menu options, and exceptional service. It's highly recommended for those seeking an unforgettable dining experience with unparalleled sunset views in Sifnos.
I recommend you book a table in advance, it gets busy. Try to get a booking for 8pm if you can. That way it has cooled down a bit and you can watch the sunset. There isn’t a bad seat in the house so take what you can get. The food is great. The service is amazing. Such lovely, friendly and funny staff. Hot potato salad was a surprise star. The lemon cake is like a cheesecake and was very good

If you have transportation this beautiful spot is a must and a perfect place to watch the sunset. Make reservations and bring sunglasses. One entree was plenty for us with salad. Nice wine list.

Captain George is a hidden gem located near Cantina, tucked away behind another restaurant. The entrance can be tricky to find, but the authentic experience and delicious food make it worth the effort. The setting is extraordinary, with beautiful views right over the water. The staff may have limited language skills, but they are attentive and accommodating. This Greek taverna offers a picturesque atmosphere with the sound of waves and the smell of hearty food from the kitchen.
Captain George’s little place right at the water is an absolute gem. Two brothers in the late 50s early 60s running the show with the younger one cooking and the older one serving. Marvellous characters, super sweet. The preseason the menu is limited, but what is being served is absolutely delicious. Highly recommended. And today we went again. Our last day in the island so we had to have a farewell lunch. And guess what? It was splendid yet again. Three times visited, three times excellent.

Amazing, fresh food at a family restaurant with super friendly service. They catch the fish, you pick it, they cook it. Can’t get better than that ! Thank you for making our last night in Sifnos special
Micky F — Google review
The restaurant offers a very unique dining experience, run by a two-person team. The setting is lovely, right on the water edge. However, the food was a bit underwhelming overall. The prawns hadn’t been cleaned, which made for an unpleasant start — though once cleaned, they were actually quite tasty. On the other hand, the tuna dish was nice - fresh. Given the overall experience, the meal felt quite overpriced for the quality. While we appreciated the atmosphere, I expected more from the food.

Amazing food, right by the sea. The food is wonderful, expect a little bit of a wait for the fish but it’s worth it. Can only recommend!

What a perfect meal. This restaurant gives you the feeling of eating a homemade meal in the most superb setting. The menu changes daily, but I would recommend ordering the fava, octopus and crispy fried shrimp if available. The setting is casual and you get to enjoy the view with the waves splashing up against the restaurant. Highly reccomend coming here for a wonderful expression of Greek cooking.
D S — Google review
We felt very led astray by all of these good reviews…. The octopus and calamari were completely leathery and inedible. The prawns and salad were fine but nothing special. The service was very bad, it didn’t feel like anyone cared about what they were serving or took any pride in their restaurant. Overall a very disappointing and overpriced experience. Not sure if it’s because we came in September near the end of the season but I certainly would not go back.

Beautiful resturant right on the waters edge. Tables were set up on the beach under big trees with festoon lights. Elegant vibe. Expansive menu options with vegetarian, seafood and meats. Everything we ordered was fresh, full of flavour and could tell it had been cooked with love and care. Delicious drinks menu and service was great. Highly recommend the grape salad and fish of the day. Loved our evening at Alyelo.

This is the best beach club I have been to in all of Greece. We went here for three times and found it to be impeccable. First things. The food was one of the best I tried on the island. The dishes were just so particular and so yummy and the service was amazing as well. We were also sat on poofs on the beach and it was beautiful as you were really close to the beach and you could order drinks to your poos.

We truly enjoyed our dinner at alyelo. We were seated right by the water, with feet in the sand. Faros bay is so much more chill and quiet than Gialos (where many other restaurants are located and we found it to be much too chaotic and loud). We much prefer this location. The service was warm and attentive. The zucchini salad is a must try. It will not be what you expect. We also had the eel, sea bream, saganki and the paccheri (which is another must order). 3 of the mains were not available which was surprising. We preferred this restaurant over yalos and maiolica.

Amazing! We ate here after eating at another restaurant the night before and feeling underwhelmed, and Alyelo did not disappoint. 🤩 We were looked after by Nora who was amazing from start to finish - so friendly, professional and knowledgeable about the dishes on offer. We will definitely be back! 🤍

A must go-to spot, where the rich Mediterranean flavors blend with Greek hospitality at the highest level, all by the beautiful Sifnos seaside. The Peach Ceviche was perfectly balanced. The Dolma Nigiri with Smoked Eel was unforgettable, an inspired fusion of tradition and creativity that truly stood out. Our main dishes were equally delightful, showcasing incredible freshness and quality in every bite. We finished with a Galaktoboureko with a lemon freddo twist, an ending that leaves the perfect lasting impression. On top of the food, the service was exceptional: attentive, warm, and professional, making the whole experience feel special. Alyelo is more than a restaurant, it’s a Sifnos highlight that you’ll remember long after you leave.

We visited this place for dinner and we had an amazing experience dott. The service was excellent. The location is mesmerizing extremely close to the water and very romantic highlight of the night was for sure our main dish which was the special of the day: paccheri with langoustine, BEST PASTA of my life (I’m Italian, just saying) it was superb and left us speechless. The waitress recommended us great Greek wine and took great car of us throughout the whole night. I highly recommend their caponata as well. Hands down best restaurant we ate in Sifnos, we’ll be back!

One of the best lunches I’ve had in Greece! Super friendly service and very knowledgable waiters. The location is stunning but what is even more amazing is the food. Try any of the raw fish dishes and you won’t be disappointed. I’m here for another week and will definitely be back!

The Don Carlo Ristorante e Bar in Apollonia offers exceptional Italian cuisine. While exploring the quiet streets, I stumbled upon a small art exhibition within the restaurant. Intrigued by the diverse selection of seafood, meat, and vegetable appetizers on the menu, I decided to stay for dinner. Each dish displayed flawless execution and showcased premium ingredients. The restaurant's elegant decor and ambiance added to its allure as a sophisticated dining establishment.
Very good italian food! Walking in the quietest alleys of Apollonia I came across a small art exhibition housed in this restaurant. After having a drink we stopped for dinner. The menu immediately intrigued me for the offer of courses, we chose different sea, land and vegetable appetizers. We were impressed by the perfection of each dish and the high quality of the food, which is also respected in the main courses as well. The quality of the dishes, the wine list, the decor and the atmosphere make it truly a glamorous restaurant. Highly recommended!

The setting is amazing, the ambiance of the place too! Service is very polite and attentive. The menu is very interesting and what we ordered was very tasty and well cooked/presented. Actually i found it a bit less innovative/surprising for the prices. But a very good experience indeed!

We were recommended the restaurant by some locals and to say it was exceptional is an understatement. It was so good we booked again for the following night. The view is breathtaking, you couldn’t ask for more with a gorgeous quintessential panoramic Greek landscape and authentic, fresh and absolutely delicious food. We had to order a second serving of the fish carpaccio - truly as if I was transported back to Tuscany. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, really made our experience so special. Hands down my favourite place on the island and an absolute must for all to try.

Best in class! Amazing island architecture updated to create a unique restaurant space for both inside and outside dining. The menu is solid Northern Italian, with upscale touches without being pretentious. Stay for dinner or stop for drinks. A not to be missed experience.

The best steak on the island. Sifos really does offer the best of the Greek Islands. We had some amazing meals but were blown away by this Italian restaurant. My husband ordered the Florentine Steak which I have to say was probably my favourite meal of the whole trip. The wine list is exceptional and the staff were so helpful in helping us make the right choice. The meal is almost as delicious as the stunning sea view, which is neatly framed with iconic white and blue houses and green hills. Honestly, have recommended it to family and friends and everybody leaves with the same feeling. 5+/5

A little pearl on the Island. The location is just perfect, in the heart of the stenó, but still secluded and private, making it the perfect restaurant for a romatic dinner or a dinner with some friends. The atmosphere is truly magical: great attention to details, from the choice of the music, to the fine decor and furniture, you’ll find yourself dining under the stars, overwhelmed by the delicate smell of jasmin flowers and fresh grapes. The food is excellent! The use of local products and Italian ingredients is carefully thought: the combination of flavors is indeed very special. The service is also very good, the team is young, passionate and welcoming: a true mix of Greek and Italian savoir-faire! I would recommend a wide selection of antipasti to share: they are just incredible! The restaurant can also be privitised for small events with a dedicated menu. My family and I had a blast! I will definitely go back next year.
Marta G — Google review
An incredible experience! First, the view on the terrace is breathtaking. Secondly, the owners, Don Carlo himself and his wife Aurora, are simply the most welcoming hosts we had on Sifnos. Go and see the interiors with the old oil press: a true gem, part of Sifnos history. I’d also like to mention the quality of the service, run by 2 waiters, so dedicated to our well-being. Last but not least, the food was absolutely delicious: carpaccios and meat were so savory, and the caponata so good! They produce their own wine, another five star taste. An unforgettable experience truly recommended.

Panostria Restaurant offers a delightful experience with its delicious and reasonably priced food. The savory half chicken, cooked on the traditional grill named Panostria, is a must-try. The breathtaking view complements the dining experience, and guests can also enjoy the swimming pool with a stunning bay view at no extra cost. The professional and friendly staff add to the overall pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant. Additionally, visitors can indulge in delectable sweets that steal the show.
I had such a blast spending my whole afternoon there ! The food is super yummy, not expensive and with quantity in plates (and what a savory half chicken cooked on a specific kind of traditional grill named panostria). The view can’t be more breathtaking and you can spend the whole day just having a swim in the swimming pool with an open view on a gorgeous bay, or reading on your mattress (no extra cost). The waiter Andriana was so welcoming, smiling and kind she even made my experience nicer if that could even be ! For sure one of my favorite spot in Sifnos.

Gyro restaurant
Kamariano is a hidden gem in Sifnos, perfect for those craving authentic Greek flavors. Nestled along the bustling pedestrian street of Apollonia, this cozy eatery specializes in traditional gyros and souvlaki that will tantalize your taste buds. The aroma of slow-cooked lamb wafts through the air, inviting you to indulge in their mouthwatering offerings. While vegetarians might find falafel less impressive, they can opt for the delightful patatopita instead.
I guess I had to travel all the way to Sifnos to have the best gyros ever! They are very accommodating as I’m gluten intolerant and I brought my own pitas and they grilled/cut them for me. The portions are so big! Thank you 🙏
Florian F — Google review
Sitting on this busy little corner watching oversized trucks, tiny cars, large buses and scooters hustle at the corner is great entertainment when you’re eating the absolute best gyros - the pork is exceptional!!!
Sinead V — Google review
AWFUL service. We ordered and paid for four gyros and waited 20 minutes before asking if it was ready. They made us wait another 10 minutes saying they hadn’t even started them. Because we were in a bit of a rush to get the ferry we asked if they could cancel the order and refund us to which they replied no, and that we could call the police if we wanted to. We ended up leaving with no gyros and no refund. Enough said.
Laila B — Google review
Tried both gyros pita and gyros portion, and both were excellent. The service was great, and probably gonna end up visiting a few more times during my stay at Sifnos.

The best souvlaki we had in all of Greece after almost 3 week of travelling. Best to eat there and all souvlaki's are delicious: chicken, pork, kebab. The meat is so juicy, wow. Really friendly guys too!

The souvlaki portion was good, reasonable prices too, friendly staff. The falafel was not so good but it’s perfectly normal given that it’s a ‘psitopoleio’ i.e. serves mainly meat based based dishes. Recommend. For the vegetarians, instead of falafel, ask for ‘patatopita’, you’ll love it.

Way Cup Roastery, located near Apokofto Beach in the Greek Islands, pleasantly surprised someone from Melbourne with its excellent coffee options. Despite initial doubts about finding good coffee beyond a frappe in this area, the small coffee roaster impressed with its diverse range of beans sourced from various parts of the world. Alongside Greek coffee and filter options, Way Cup Roastery also offered a delicious cappuccino freddo, topped with frothed milk that resembled soft meringue.
Sifnos best kept secret! Best coffee in the area. Kostas and Isabella roast their own blend of coffee! I went everyday! Great location, conversations and coffee of course!

Absolutely loved Way Cup Coffee Roaster! The coffee was truly amazing, and you can tell why – they roast their own beans right there, which is fantastic to see. The lady serving us was incredibly friendly and made the whole experience even better. And the pistachio and almond baklava we had was out of this world! A perfect treat with the coffee. Would highly recommend Way Cup Coffee Roaster to anyone looking for a brilliant coffee experience. Plus, they've just opened a new shop in Platis Gialos, which is great news!

Betty's Bakery in Sifnos is a delightful beachfront bakery located on Faros beach, offering a wide array of handmade bread, coffee, and delectable desserts. Visitors rave about the heavenly aroma of the sourdough bread baking in the oven and praise the fantastic lemon cake and cappuccino. The bakery is known for its high-quality offerings such as protein bread and carob loaf, making it a favorite spot for delicious treats and great coffee.
Fantastic coffee, delectable pastries, and delicious sandwiches. The service is impeccable, and the staff is incredibly kind. When I accidentally dropped my sandwich, Betty graciously provided me with a new one free of charge. Highly recommend!
Eleftherios — Google review
Low rating due to high prices compared to the rest of the island and the not so tasty food. Would not go again and not recommend, there are better options around. We had lunch (takeaway) and got 1 pastisio, 1 bowl of oven cooked veggies and 4 waters and this was €34. Way too much for the island, maybe tourist trap? Also veggies lacked salt and pastisio was okay, had at least 3 better ones in the island this week.

A cute mod takeout spot working hard to give the sweaty tourists what they want - coffee and portable, seaside-friendly snacks. And they’re doing a great job. Coffee can be a bit unreliable (one day it was great but the next day it was very burnt) but all in all great. Damn it was hot in there though with the ovens - we felt bad for the workers!

Best breakfast on the island! Iced Coffee wonderful (and real - Greeks like putting nescafe in most of their iced coffees). Tried all the sandwiches, most of the cakes and the chia yoghurt, and loved them all. The only "take out" place in Sifnos that I could find that was fresh (and great value). Ate it all under the trees looking at the sea. Perfection.

I could not recommend this place enough! It is at the end of a quaint lane way and the rooms are surrounded by beautiful scenes of fruit/vegetables/flowers. The room for three is basic but clean and reminds me of a refurbished farmhouse shed. The hosts are wonderfully genuine and are easy to communicate with and offer a complimentary tour of their farm!
Inés D — Google review
The positive descriptions here are not true anymore in 2023, the hosts are unable to provide what they promise on their profile on airBnB: fresh fruit and vegetables to pick from the garden, fresh milk. The beds have old matrasses and are rather uncomfortable.

(Translated by Google) Very beautiful location next to Artemons and Apollonia. It has a garden where you can freely take anything you want. Definitely worth the stay!!

(Translated by Google) Perfect ! And the hosts pay particular attention: fruits and vegetables from the garden that we are invited to pick as much as we want! Cheeses from their own production generously offered as are the cakes. A true haven of peace. (Original) Parfait ! During my recent travels, I had the pleasure of dining at Ωκύαλος in Sifnos, and it was an experience to remember! The food here is a delightful celebration of traditional Greek cuisine. Although I missed out on trying the famous Mastello due to its popularity, I was thrilled with the unique cabbage rolls that were both fresh and flavorful.
Stopped here on our last night in Sifnos to try the lamb and it is one of the best dishes I’ve ever had! We also had the chickpea balls and fried cheese meze, but I’ll be thinking about that braised lamb for years to come. Excellent service and ambiance!
Chloe C — Google review
I have very different feelings about this place. On the first day, we came for lunch, and everything was perfect: the food (chickpea soup and meatballs), the vibe (very chill and relaxing), and the attentive service. We liked it there and decided to come back. But the last evening was a different experience. The place was busy, and we could not get proper service. We were waiting for our drinks for 30 minutes, and the staff was unattentive (it was rush hour I understand). But I can't forget cockroaches running around and jumping on people. That was epic. We no longer had an appetite and didn't like our shrimp pasta. The waiter apologised, brought us a dessert and removed the pasta from our bill (it was not necessary but we truly appreciated that). I guess it was the restaurant’s unlucky day, and I hope I will go there next time and we will have a good time, and it will be a 5-star.

Delicious traditional Greek food and incredible hospitality! Wilson made us feel truly welcome — one of the best dining experiences in Sifnos. Highly recommend!

Good food, though a bit less authentic than other spots. The service was very friendly, and it’s a lovely place to sit and relax.

Stopped here for dinner our last night in Sifnos on a whim, and really enjoyed our meal! The chickpeas and eggplant were delicious, as was the lamb.
Sara C — Google review
The service was polite and fast. The portions were generous. The dishes I tasted (eggplant in the oven, revythada, Okyalos salad, mastelo with very nice fried potatoes) were very tasty. We were also offered a second bottle of wine.
Fay L — Google review
I really wouldn't bother. The service was non existent, plonking plates and glasses Infront of us. The portions were tiny and it was overpriced for what it was. Pork was dry, the mashed potato was lumpy, meatballs also dry yet watery? I was also laughed at once I replied honestly to how it was - poor... The one smile I got from the staff all evening.. I had a VERY different experience to the other 5 star reviews.. The beer was alright though. As a head chef in London, I'd say give this one a miss.

We had a Nice experience here, food is super tasty, we unfortunately wanted to try the Mastello but it was sold out, recommend going earlier to get a plate of it. The cabbage rolled dish was unique, not appealing , but tasty and fresh. Owners were kind and helpful

Mamma Mia in Sifnos, located in the capital village of Apollonia and on Platis Gialos beach, offers a taste of Italy with its authentic Italian cuisine. The restaurant is known for its delicious pizza with fluffy crust and thin bottom, as well as grilled vegetable starters. The lively atmosphere and attentive waitstaff add to the dining experience. Visitors can enjoy the true taste of Italy while feeling at home, served by the owner himself.
The food and service was really good. The dough was selfmade and you taste it. Not too much cheese as well, perfect. Lovely to also have a gluten free pasta option. A lot of different receipes could be made. Nice to meet the owner, a true Italian that lost his heart to Greece. We hope to be back one day.

Really enjoyed our meal here! We had the tagliatelle alla bolognese and trofie al pesto. They added zucchini to my pesto pasta as requested and brought extra Parmesan for my husband who can eat it by the bucketful. It felt like the best homemade pasta ever, served by a lovely and attentive team!

Best place we've eaten in Greece so far! We have been here one week. Excellent staff, clean and the food is amazing! Wish it hadn't been our last night in Sifnos- we all wanted to go again!

Lovely time here! Second time visiting this restaurant over the span of four years and the experience is very consistent which is to say the wait staff are so professional and friendly. The dishes are excellent as well and there’s a beautiful ambiance at night. Highly recommend

What a delight! We went here two nights during our trip during the off season. The restaurant is stunning and has a great view. We had Panos as our waiter both nights and he animated our needs and made great recommendations. The truffle pasta was out of this world.

I would put more than 5 stars if I could! We went for Pasta alla Puttanesca and it was the best I’ve ever eaten. Came back the day after to try a pizza and it was also an absolute delight. The owner is very devoted to making you feel good and welcomed. Don’t hesitate. Best Italian in Sifnos!!

Yalos Seaside Obsession is a must-visit for those seeking a unique dining experience with a modern twist on familiar Greek flavors. The extensive wine list complements the impeccable execution of the dishes, making it one of the best dining experiences. Visitors can also enjoy a leisurely day by the sea, renting lounge chairs and indulging in incredibly fresh snacks and meals made with seasonal ingredients.
Everything was outstanding! Amazing service, great wines and cocktails. The lunch we had was the best food on our trip - I had ceviche and octopus with chickpeas and I still think bout how good it was.

Yalos Sifnos is a great spot right by the beach. The food is fresh and full of flavor. We loved the tuna tataki and the bruschetta with sardines — both were amazing. Beautiful location, friendly staff, and a relaxed vibe. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Sifnos.

In the setting of Sifnos’ most beautiful beach, the restaurant offers delicious, unique dishes and unforgettable fish carpaccios. The service is top-notch for courtesy, speed, precision, and efficiency. You simply can’t come to Sifnos without having lunch or dinner at Yalos!

We enjoyed this place so much that we went twice during our holiday in Sifnos. The sunbeds are very comfortable and come with proper sunshading, which was really important for us. A set of sunbeds costs 40€, but if you also have lunch at Yalos, the price is reduced to 20€. The food is excellent as well, so I can only recommend coming here.

Top notch beach front seafood restaurant. Do not miss when in Sifnos! Carpaccio and tartare options totally recommended. The grilled fresh fish was super tasty.

Full day experience on a beautiful beach. Start with sunbeds early morning enjoying coffee juices and the detox water. Head up to the restaurant for a beautiful seafood lunch. Highly recommend the fish kebab and scallops paired with the bruschetta. Head back to the sunbeds to spend the rest of the afternoon. Great drinks menu - alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Will be back.

Αργύρης is a charming restaurant located a short walk away from the ferry port, offering delicious and authentic Greek cuisine. Visitors highly recommend trying their Greek salad with local cheese, mousakka, lamb chops, chickpea balls, tzatziki, giant beans, and aubergine spread.
Our favourite restaurant in Kamares so far. Arguably the best view as you have the village opposite and privacy as only one other bar there. Very friendly welcome, lovely lunch, hope to return for dinner. Thank you xx

Wonderful food and ambiance at this little gem on the harbour. We loved their twist on a Greek salad with local misouthra cheese instead of feta. We ate there multiple times and everything we tried was delicious. Loved the stuffed eggplant (pictured) one of my favorites of the whole two week trip in Greece. I saw a few negative reviews below but please do not be dissuaded by grumpy tourists, this place is worth a visit!

We had a very disappointing dining experience here on our final night in Sifnos - however, we should’ve known from the terrible service upon entry that this is how the meal would unfold. From extremely overpriced, rubbery squid to abrasive service staff - this restaurant leaves nothing to be desired. Head to the venues on the main strip - you’ll receive wonderful service, incredible food and a much friendlier price tag. On the plus side - amazing view!

Argyris restaurant in Kamares has a fantastic view over the bay, which is definitely one of its strong points. The food itself is tasty – the taramasalata in particular stands out as excellent, and the flavours across the dishes are generally very good. That said, the experience was mixed. Waiting times were long, and while the staff were correct and professional, they weren’t particularly warm or friendly. Portion sizes were inconsistent – some dishes came in a decent size, while others were extremely small for the price. A good example is the shrimp saganaki: although tasty, the portion was tiny, especially disappointing at €16. Overall, Argyris offers quality flavours and a great setting, but with the small portions and relatively high prices, it ends up feeling on the expensive side.

We dined here twice during our week long stay on Sifnos. Both were absolutely fabulous in every way; food, service, view, friendly cats… Cannot recommend highly enough. You must go if in Kamares.

Great view over Kamares bay. Good food and decent service too. We started with grilled octopus, followed by chicken with honey mustard and fresh tuna from the grill. Ended with a lemon pie and ouzo. All dishes were fresh and tased good. Worth going.

Amazing traditional food. Iannis the boss is so kind, he’s also a wine expert and offered each of us a glass of ultra premium wine 100% recommend !

Argyris in 2025 was an unqualified disappointment: appalling service, mediocre cuisine, overpriced. Only the view, at sunset, remains of this restaurant's past glory.

"Ristorante Italiano ''Da Claudio'' offers a mix of experiences, with some visitors praising the inviting atmosphere and excellent service while others highlight the delicious food and friendly staff. The restaurant is described as beautiful and stylish, providing a lovely ambiance for enjoying authentic Italian cuisine. Some minor feedback includes suggestions for enhancing certain dishes, but overall, many patrons express their satisfaction with the good food and pleasant dining experience.
We had a great experience at Ristorante Italiano! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and the Greek salad—both were absolutely fantastic and full of flavor. Be sure to ask for the red pepper oil to add a bit of heat to your pizza—it takes it to the next level! Highly recommend if you’re in Sifnos and craving something delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

Good place for Italian kitchen at Sifnos, nice location on the main road. Authentic atmosphere with excellent cocktails. Food was good, starters were delicious, the pastas dishes (I would have preferred less pasta and more fish, meat and vegetables). The flavor were good in general.

The service was fantastic. The cocktails delicious and food really good. The only small comment I have: the pizza sauce was rather plain and the carbonara could have used a bit more (actual) parmigiano or the pasta water could have been salted some more. Other than that, delicious.

"I Oraia Sifnos" is a charming family-run restaurant located in the main town square of Sifnos. The restaurant offers delicious traditional Sifnian food and boasts beautiful views of the hills. Guests can enjoy their meals on the back patio, which provides a lovely setting for dining, especially during sunny days or to catch the sunset in the early evening. The menu features specialties such as chickpea stew on Sundays, Sifnian pizza, and caper salad.

Don’t understand why some snobs are winging about the restaurant, I went and had a great experience. It was relaxing and the people working here were lovely. I had an authentic Greek experience and the food was delicious. Also to add the view was beautiful! This place deserves more respect.

Only upon entering did we notice the beautiful courtyard with its fantastic view. The warm welcome and the first impression we received when we looked into the open kitchen immediately made us feel like we were in good hands. The food was authentic, good, and reasonably priced. Many thanks to the family who gave us this wonderful stay today.

Wholesome family-run gem of a restaurant in the main town square. This is next to the pharmacy and the taxi rink. The views of the hills are amazing, and the food is delicious. Come here in the daytime for a nice sunny view, or in the early evening to catch the sunset. Do try the chickpea stew on Sundays, or the Sifnian pizza. The caper salad was delicious as well. The desserts are made by the owner's daughter and are different each day. Thank you for the wonderful food and experience!
Jenny P — Google review
We ordered two pizza's (since it was a pizzaria, we expected good pizza's). The starters were served the same time as the pizza's. The pizza's were made with factory-made bottoms (card board) and low quality ingredients (watery tomato, cheap cheese, tasteless meat (even the cats didn't get enthusiastic about the ham)). The taste was very bland. The view from the terrace was beautiful and the taverna itself was nice as well. Would not recommend it for the food.
Ruben K — Google review
Very tasty chickpea balls and chickpea soup. The mizithra horiatiki salad was very fresh, tasty, and refreshing. The food was worth its price, but we decided to go with beer instead of wine. We were surprised by how empty the restaurant was, as the view was beautiful and we got to see the sunset.

This was very disappointing. The reviews on here and TripAdvisor must refer to a different place. Atmosphere was dead. View was good. Food was poor and served lukewarm. Good came so fast that it has to have been reheated. Shame to waste dinner on holiday this way.

During my recent visit to Sifnos, I had the pleasure of dining at Camaron, and let me tell you, it was an experience I wish I'd discovered sooner! The culinary creations here are nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish is a testament to the care and thoughtfulness that goes into its preparation, showcasing only the freshest ingredients. The moussaka stands out as a highlight—arguably the best I've tasted across various Greek islands.
To my opinion, pasta was excellent and pizza was quite good! We paid 36€ for 1 salad, pizza, pasta and beer. I recommend it!

This place is amazing! The food is exceptional particularly the moussaka which is the best I have ever had on many Greek islands. We also had the aubergine with feta, lamb kleftako and a pizza which were also divine. This place is also a pizzeria but try the Greek food! Lovely atmosphere and good prices. Don’t miss this place we went here twice!

As other reviews say, the moussaka is freshly made and delicious. Be prepared to wait a little due to this. We also had bruschetta, which was garlic breads with a little tomato/feta. Great value and nice atmosphere.
