Great foresty hike with Butser hill very close too! Loads of routes and makes a 13k circular. Assault course and extra landmarks all around. Highly recommend on a sunny day.
Nice park but the parking charges are steep, first 1 hour is £2.50, up to 2 hours £5, up to 4 hours £8. The Electric charging point doesn't work with a motobility go account you have to use the park recharge app and pay up front. The park cafe is expensive too, bring your own cake 🎂 and flask. Could be challenging walks for disabled users, paths are soil based no hard surfaces and sloping. Park goes up hill. Only tarmac areas are road level by children's play area.
By the Almighty, we had a great short afternoon there, tge top of the Park. It was amazing, you can't resist yourself to explore by walking in the wood. There are plenty activities to do as a family or group. It has pay car park. I find very easy to pay the machine. It has cafe shop but make sure check the time to close. Have a great time!
Queen Elizabeth Country Park is a gem! The scenery is absolutely stunning, with lush woodlands and rolling hills offering breathtaking views that make every visit unforgettable. The tranquil woodland walks are perfect for quiet time, mindful reflection, and pure relaxation. It’s incredibly pet and family-friendly, with plenty of space for dogs to roam and activities to keep kids entertained. I’d thoroughly recommend this peaceful haven for anyone looking to unwind and soak in nature’s beauty!
Hired the pizza oven area for a baby shower and had a wonderful time! Very easy process, although do recommend bringing extra wood on top of what they give you :)
Today I took my 91 year old Grandad to QECP to use a Tramper for the first time. • It was easy to book and is free. • The lady at the visitor centre was lovely. She took us through the instructions very clearly and asked for Grandad to demonstrate he had understood before letting us leave for our jolly. • She gave us clear directions and a map. • The Tramper had a storage space for our bag. • Grandad said it wasn't as smooth as he had expected it to be but it looked ok going over quite rough ground. • It had 2 speeds which could be controlled with a switch, with speeds up to 8mph. • The green route took us about 45 mins. Grandad got confident and I had to jog to keep up with him. He enjoyed it and said he would like to go again. A big thank you to the team supporting this, it is a great opportunity for those less able to experience the countryside.
We loved this place. The staff in the shop were wonderfully helpful. We did the easiest loop which still had hills and was 2 miles. Staff convinced us not to use our mobility scooter but use one of theirs very suitable for the terrain and free. Very comfortable too. Fascilities for cyclists, walkers, dog walkers and runners excellent. Even a dog washing facility. Lovely cafe and gift shop.
Lovely walking amongst the trees. Great little café too. We had lunch then a walk to take in the Autumn colours. They have a useful map with paths marked well. Then back for tea and cake. Plenty of parking on a mid week Autumn day.

Pub
Traditional, local pub offering giant burgers and hot dogs, with shaded garden plus kids' play area.
Slide 1 of 8
A very friendly welcome, varied menu, offers and special dishes available. Very reasonable prices. Well kept range of beers and soft drinks. Food was served in good time and was hot. Portions were amazing. Desert did not disappoint either. Will definitely return sooner next time!
We booked in last minute for Sunday dinner – 8 adults plus a baby – and fair play, they managed to fit us in. The staff who served us were pleasant, food came out fine, and the kids were being… well, kids. To be clear: they weren’t charging through the bar screaming like extras from Lord of the Flies. They were sat in the little unused foyer area by our table, moving between chairs, playing their games, not near any other customers. We’ve eaten out plenty of times and never had an issue anywhere else. Then, out of nowhere, a lady swooped in like the self-appointed “Child Whisperer” of Waterlooville and announced: “You need to control those kids or the staff are going to tell you off.” The irony being… we’d already seen her behind the bar, so unless she moonlights as the local neighbourhood watch, she was the staff. It killed the mood completely. Some of our group finished eating while the rest of us took the kids over to the park instead. And this was a Sunday afternoon, not late, not rowdy – just families having a meal. Even the other locals didn’t bat an eyelid. As for the food, it’s what I’d describe as “going round someone’s house for dinner.” Perfectly edible, you won’t get food poisoning, but also not something you’d rush back for. More of a “thanks, but next time we’ll grab a takeaway” kind of vibe. So: • Staff who served us – pleasant. • Food – homely. • Atmosphere – ruined by an unsolicited parenting masterclass. If you’re looking for a family-friendly Sunday pub, I’d say make other plans.
Come for food , and the night was ruined by the attitude of one of the workers called Kim , she was nothing but rude and I don’t understand how a manager can let a members of the start treat and speak to younger staff members the way she did , the fact that she can walk round bullying them ! Is disgusting and in front of guest is even worse , I hope a manager finally sees this happen and fixes it cause it’s not a nice environment to work in let alone eat in , an older member of staff picking on the younger ones. , aside from the bad they should be praising lily as she worked amazing and was so well manned , they need more staff like her , but need to maybe take a look into there other staff!!
Hi, I came in the other day with a couple friends and i am appalled by the service. As i came in I was greeted by a lovely girl named Lily, however throughout my experience at this establishment, I encountered a lady named Kim. She was extremely rude, i am not happy with the way she speaks to other staff members and customers. I saw Kim moaning at a young looking girl working there and I am truly dissatisfied by the way i heard her speaking to the young girl. Food and drinks were lovely however Kim is not.
The food is really good value for money and tasty too. Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Will definitely be back ... Especially for the chicken and mushroom pie and the pulled pork mac and cheese
First experience there tonight , my partner was working and was treated poorly by the manager there . I wasn't happy with the way the manager had spoke to me . They sit and watch all staff struggle while they drink away . My partner has been warned that they can be very rude and tonight my partner has decided to leave this job that she had just started due to the rudeness and the lack of support even though she was a new staff who started last week. There is no staff there poor services and communication not a nice environment. My partner did say to me years ago this place used to be amazing but since these new managers are here it is awful pub ! I highly wouldn't recommend this pub !
We were sent a Love my locals voucher after a bad experience in a Marstons pub. We tried to use it here and were refused. Terrible service, being that it is the pub chains own vouchers and this pub is on the list of places it can be used. Not a great experience when you've turned up with two hungry kids.
I came in a couple of weeks ago and was lucky enough to be served by Neve — and honestly, she was incredible! From the moment we walked in, she was warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. She had a constant smile on her face and made us feel genuinely valued. Her customer service was nothing short of exceptional — attentive, polite, and just so naturally friendly. It’s rare to come across someone who clearly takes pride in what they do, and Neve truly made our visit memorable. You don’t often get service like that in a pub — she’s an absolute star!

I was pleasantly surprised that there’s no time limit, unlike many other soft play centers. My daughter absolutely loved playing here and could enjoy herself without feeling rushed. A great place for kids to have fun!
Went for the first time today was ok. Please watch your belongings though. I left without my little girls my carry travel potty (cat one) which was a bit marked/ had specific dents on it. When I returned literally 15 minutes I couldn’t find it any where. Looked over to see it under the next tables chair. I asked if it was hers and she was a bit shocked a was like oh i don’t think so I think it’s the sister in laws 😏. (It had been on top of the table we was sat on so not even like I had left it near there chair/ table) needless to say I said it’s my little girls picked it up and walked out - informing staff on the way ( I know it’s not the companys fault and it’s my own fault for forgetting it but who on earth steals a potty!! They didn’t even have any intention of giving to the staff - I know they cost £30 but come on! It wasn’t even in the best condition) Any way the soft plays seemed a bit outdated and could do with a refurb/ deep clean. Not much balls in the under 4’s area. We only stayed for 30 minutes as the children got bored quite quickly. Would definitely recommend travelling a bit further to other soft plays near by. We won’t be returning again.
This is one of those places 'get what you pay for' for 2 adults and a 4 year old £11 (No where close to that price anywhere close for that price) foods pricey and mediocre at best same with the tea and coffee which is abit of a let down. But for value for money it's a really good valued place to let your little ones burn energy off with the cost of living we are currently in!
Overpriced, rude staff, absolutly stinks, main slide only opens for 15-20 mins even though staff are stood around doing nothing, £8.50 per child is a rip off play area is really small. So many local places better than this.
Staff are useless. They dont pay attention to the older children taking over the baby and toddler area. I had to ask them twice to remind me where the baby area was! And if they thought the children in it were age appropriate! After umming and scratching their empty heads they pathetically asked the children to move. They didn't. When I mentioned a refund they finally got them out. Please dont waste money here!
Lovely staff. My young one really enjoyed it. Very suitable for 1-5 year olds. Reasonably nice coffee for the adults.
Extremely overpriced entrance fee. £8.50 per child. Upon entrance the place had an awful smell, staff member walking around spraying air freshner. Actual size of the play area is tiny. Not worth the price.
Always good to take the kids somewhere like this great size with some great slides the only down side is the price and portion size of the food 🥘 4 chicken nuggets , 12, chips and some beans go £6 ? Apart from that it’s worth a visit

Walking into the Crafty Chocolatier HQ you are greeted with a very warm welcome by Kerry and a hot drink if you wanted it. Once everyone is settled in Kerry explains what's what and leads you through the making process. She holds different workshops so the process is dependent on what workshop you choose. It was such a fun, relaxed experience. Would highly recommend.
My daughter attended a chocolate workshop with The Craft Chocolatier and had the very best time. The resources, food, teaching and experience was all such high quality. Kerry was engaging and considered throughout and her passion shone through. We left feeling inspired. It was such a a wholesome, fun and educational workshop and one I highly recommend to all. We learnt so much and had the best time.
Had the best day here with best friends and the amazing Kerry who taught us how to make professional standard chocolates that I still can't believe we actually created with our own hands. In a purpose built studio with air con and every professional piece of kit imaginable, Kerry showed us how to craft delicious chocolates and bars with technical information and skills and plenty of laughs too. Everything about The Crafty Chocolatier is professional, fun, educational and delicious! A fantastic place to get together with family and friends and have a wonderful time and create the most incredible treats. Very highly recommended.
We had a really lovely time with Kerry learning to make our own Easter Eggs. Her teaching was fantastic, quality of the chocolate was amazing and we couldn’t be more happy with our final product! Thanks Kerry for a really great morning, would hugely recommend to anyone!
Have a great time at Kerry’s shoe workshop Really pleased how it came out and a lovely morning had
We had a great time making our Easter boxes. Lovely place for some chocolaty crafting.... hosted brilliantly! 👏
Attended an amazing chocolate workshop where we made a luxury Easter egg and delicious truffles. Would certainly recommend booking a place on a future workshop - I shall be. Thank you Kerry for a great experience.
We recently visited for a Hen do. We had such an amazing time here and really enjoyed our visit. We highly recommend Kerry and her workshop. She catered for our dairy intolerance and gave us all lots of choices. Communication was great and we came away with lots of yummy treats!

Superb night out. The host James is one of the best MCs of any comedy club in the country and is really well engaged with the audience. He also books some of the best acts on the circuit. Anyone looking for a great night out in the local area would be well advised to give it a try.
You won't be disappointed in these shows, great fun good price tickets, there's a bar & food, free parking, great night out.
I have been to several shows and they have always been brilliant, when the pandemic hit everyone thought it would be the end of the shows.... until well who knew. But James managed to find a pub with a garden and some very obliging landlords and set up Comedy Under the Stars. These events have been brilliant and much needed in these times of strife! Every event has adhered to the covid regulations at the time and the acts have been wonderful. It's been a blast! Well done James.
What better way to spend an evening than laughing your socks off!! Brilliant prices for tickets, there is also a good range of reasonably priced drinks and snacks, Awsome staff, an amazing host and a variety of well known comedians all brought to my local Tech College! I Love it! ❤️
Been to comedy all stars both at the Farmers and Horndean tech loads of times always a excellent night& value for money , bar is cash generally at Horndean so take some and don’t sit in the front row unless you are keen to partake lol .. we are lucky to have access to these acts local to us , well done James keep up the good work
The James Alderson & friends comedy nights are fantastic. A night of at least 3 acts including the host (James) who links all of the acts & the night together with his own quick witted remarks and observations. A very entertaining night at a very reasonable price.
The best comedy club in the south of England! Due the pandemic the indoor shows (that have been held at HTC for 10 years) have moved outdoors, to a lovely pub garden at The Farmer Inn in Catherington. They’re Covid safe and intimate and there isn’t a bad seat in the house (field)! So far we have been treated to Al Murray the pub landlord and Russell Kane, and many many more. The shows are all held together by fantastic MC and comedian James Alderson, who works the crowd sooooo well. 10/10 would recommend! 😁
We only found out about this place just prior to the 1st lockdown, and we had no idea really to expect, a college hall.? Lingering students perhaps.?.It's certainly easy to find as it's just off of the A3. Lovely, friendly, capacity audience of all ages, from youths to us oldies, the place was buzzing, and very well organised, 3 great acts and hosted by the hysterically quick James Alderson. There was even an impromptu marriage proposal onstage, and of course the answer was YES...!! I can only liken it to a top comedy venue in a major UK city, or Live at The Apollo. We left certain we would return ... and now at last we can :)

Visit this swimming pool regularly, usually on a Saturday, staff really friendly and helpful, Louie one of the lifeguards was so helpful and went above and beyond his job to facilitate my needs in pool! Very attentive and accommodating ! 🌟 Lovely pools, clean and spacious. Changing rooms have all you need, nice showers and toilet facilities including disability areas to toilet and change. Great cafe, with good menu of food and drinks. Reception staff always friendly and chatty.
I wanted to enrol my baby into swimming lessons. I love that it’s walking distance away. I trialled it out on Sunday. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Great there are lockers. Only reason I didn’t sign up, as the change rooms were cold. The water shower temperature wasn’t really warm enough for baby. The temperature of the pool was on the cooler side not as warm. Ashame I didn’t end up signing up due these reasons.
The leisure centre of my youth and now reliving through my children. We use it for swimming lessons they do the trick for my gregarious kids, maybe be more of a challenge for a shy one as they are big classes and the pool is noisy. Does look tired in parts but they are gradually doing over the place. Sad when they got rid of the soft play.
At a time when so many fitness centres around the town are 24/7, Horizon has reduced its timing on friday saturday sunday to 9pm. Since i cant find option to reply to your response, i would just add my submission here While the clud has full rights to amend the times, do you give the members the option to review their membership contracts based on the changes you make, While we are bound by annual contracts
Good gym, the pool is great, especially for kids to learn how to swim (as i did here as a kid), now my nieces use it. decent amount of parking, it does get quite busy as its very popular.
From a visitors perspective (bringing a competitor for swimming event) it's pointless. No room at poolside and no viewing gallery. The glass from the cafe has been mirrored to provide privacy for pool users. The cafe area is like stepping back into the 1980s with hard fixed seats and tables with plastic bamboo plants (which are coated in dust). The centre's motto of 'Inspiring healthier happier communities' is nicely juxtaposed with the M&M vending machine 😂. I can't comment on the actual leisure facilities themselves but it has less appeal than a Little Chef on a forgotten A road to nowhere.
Brilliant gym, numerous classes and a lovely large pool. Plenty of free parking too.
I went for the swimming pool it was a bit old fashioned but it has really good public swimming times and you can use the lakes in thoughs times. They have seprate ladys and men's changing rooms and a family one. You do need a pad lock for the lockers you can get one at reception for only £2.50 and then it's yours to keep. I also used the cafe here had a nice lunch and cup of coffie for a good price.

What am amazing well-run yard. I took my son for a lesson today and could not be more impressed with the high level of care my son received. It is abundantly clear the horses are very well looked after. As a horse owner my self I would willingly put my horse in the care of the staff here. I will definitely return at the next opportunity.
I started riding lessons here recently and I have been enjoying every moment there since. All the staff there help you very much and are consideret and polite. They take care of the riders or any spectators. They take care of their lovely horses and make riding safe, fun and enjoyable. I will never forget my time there it's fantastic! 🐴 😍
Lovely place to learn horse riding. Just had my first lesson and really enjoyed it. The lady instructor was very nice and truly helpful. The horse was very calm and well trained. Highly recommend this place for everyone
This is a fantastic equestrian centre. My daughter and I both have riding lessons here and have learnt so much. I have also attended a jumping course and equine experience class, I love that they offer so much more than just how to ride. Staff are really friendly and great at building your confidence. Safe, happy, healthy ponies to ride and learn to care for. Highly recommend! X
Absolutely fantastic place to learn to ride, the instructors really care about the horses, and the rider and how you are feeling. Having had a fall at Christmas am regaining my confidence in jumping, Natalie is slowly helping me to overcome my fears, which I can't thank her enough for!!
This is a lovely, friendly, family run yard. It's always very clean and all the horses seem happy. They cater for beginners to advanced riders. Would definitely recommend!
Lost all respect for this riding school. Totally money driven and dont care for the individual. My grandaughter has been learning for a year here ,she suffers from sensory issues.Due to the condition she has she needs to know if for any reason the instructor is going to be different. We asked for a text message after arriving 2 weeks in a row to a different instructor. When I spoke to the office I was told to find a riding school for the disabled. They were rude and very un caring . Despicable way to treat a child
I always receive great lessons with care and horses who share, as I have a wonderful instructor, Natalie who cares about my abilities and goals but also goes that extra mile to tailor tuition to my needs on the day, with horses who share their desire to teach me everything about horse partnerships and the care they need to stay happy. Equine tuition is always delivered to me with high standards, diligence, passion and a smile in a charming environment that is well kept and welcoming, and no challenge or query is never too much to ask Natalie, Helen and Louise for reaching my next goals and taking hold of the reins with enjoyment and confidence. It is a pleasure to learn and treasure to find as I love every moment of my lessons. Thank you ladies!

Just had the most amazing, relaxing massage and facial, would HIGHLY recommend! Tilly you were amazing, feel like I can sleep for a week now! Thanks again, I will be back
Amy is such a pro, and wonderful at putting her clients at ease. She is able to tailor treatments for you if you can't quite find a facial / massage to suit. I'm so happy she has managed to get through the pandemic & stay open; it's so lovely having the salon so local! Amy is a calming presence, exactly what you want when you need some time out for self care! I can't recommend her enough!
Amy is very professional and knowledgeable about what she does! She offers a wide range of different services. I have had many sports massages and would highly recommend them.
Just visited this place and super happy thank you. Amy was so reassuring and felt very comfortable. Amy answered all my questions and knows her profession very well. Lovely lady with great humour so thank you and see you again soon 👌
Amy is extremely professional, and so good at making her clients feel comfortable, valued, safe, and in very capable hands. I would recommend highly!
Great sports massage, i got a voucher from a friend and this turned out to be a great birthday present! Easy to find, free parking outside, friendly staff. Loved your yellow labs 🐟🐟in the waiting area 😀
I visit The Beauty Experience regularly, I always feel very welcome and special. I come away relaxed and refreshed. I highly recommend anyone to visit. Thank you Amy :-)

I visit this charming local pub regularly and am always thoroughly impressed. The warm and inviting atmosphere make it perfect for families, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure a kid-friendly experience. From their friendly demeanour, to amazing cocktail making skills every detail was well thought out. A hidden gem for those seeking a welcoming spot for both adults and children. Thank you Martin and Lauren for creating a lovely environment! Highly recommended!
No food served and hasn't been served for a long time. In new ownership as fullers sold it recently. Needs updating and definitely a lick of paint. Hopefully the new people will do this as it is a popular pub And could do well especially if the served food. Excellent that it is dog friendly.
Served with a smile and great prices. Very popular so being served takes a little longer at busy times. Can't have it all ways. Gets noisy on occasions but getting great crowds. Does not do food.
Very nice old fashioned pub, with good selection of beers and fast, efficient service
Was about to come in for a drink on the bank holiday . Went to go get some cash out at the cash point and as I parked I was greeted by the “owner “ who then proceed to shout in my face and abuse me as I got out my car as she claimed I was stopping customers from coming in as I had used there carpark . She was very aggressive and rude . Another male worker then proceeded to come outside and be extremely rude . I didn’t say anything back but I will never ever return to this pub again after being so humiliated .
Great pub with good drink and food selection. Ample parking, very large garden at the rear with many picnic tables. Also great beer prices too. In the daytime you can get a pint of Amstel for a fantastic price. Cheapest for miles. Worth a visit.
The landlord and lady are amazing people. Always putting events on for kids. The food is lovely and well priced. They sell tea and coffee too. So winner. Highly recommend if you have kids.
Manager was very good, great service from him. Prize is very modest but with a little increase tfrom 6pm. No disabled toilet but I and other have went in together to the men's, I hope they forgive me. As I am my partners carer too. Layout of pub is wheelchair accessible but not toilets as we were told before hand. Lovely back garden. Plus good seating area.

I would highly recommend The Centurion for all occasions. The pub has a great atmosphere and everyone is very welcoming. It is our local pub but we recently held a 'Wake' at The Centurion, and honestly we couldn't of wished for a better service. The manager was very accommodating to a couple of little extra requests I had and the staff were also very helpful and attentive. The buffet food was delicious. We had a good selection of food, all great quality, very well prepared, and at a great price too. Thank you for everything you did to help make the day special.
In between a typical Pub and Sportsbar. Plenty of screens to watch. Atmosphere was good, a bit loud. Toilets were clean. Menu has got plenty options, also for vegetarians. Only 3 stars because we came in for a quick lunch with a party of 4 and when ordering at the bar we're told 3/4 of our selection wasn't available. We left without a purchase. Visited on the 29th of December.
Nice food and they have a very good Chef
I was welcomed by the locals and friendly bar staff. I enjoyed a Moretti and a John Smith bitter with a better quality packet of crisps for just over £11. Would return.
My husband and I have visited the Centurion (Waterlooville) on several occasions and have always enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. The food is delicious and very good value for money. Definitely recommend.
The Centurion is a great local pub. The couple who run it are fabulous. It's been done up brilliant. Great locals. Def recommend if in the area.
I had never used this venue before I cannot fault them. They were just amazing and went above and beyond to make sure our evening went off with a bang. I thoroughly recommend this fantastic venue
I had my 60th Birthday party, it was a great atmosphere with lovely friendly staff that provided a smashing buffet with a variety of cold food. A Saturday evening with a great DJ that played a wide range of music, I would highly recommend for a great evening as I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thank you to all the staff at the Centurion, who went that extra mile on the 1st July and made my evening a special one x
