This place is magical!!! Especially in the fall it feels like something out of a fantasy videogame or movie. The trees create such a unique atmosphere, walking next to them is a once in a lifetime experience. It’s a short 25 minute walk from Kazimierz Dolny and it is an absolute must to visit if you come to the city! I highly recommend this to anyone!
It was one of the most incredible natural experiences I had in Poland. Located approximately 2.5 kilometers from the town center. The gully is around 3 meters deep and has a U-shaped profile. Visiting this site with a knowledgeable guide would enhance the experience, as there is much to learn about its formation and significance. However, even without a guide, it's worth the visit due to its proximity to the city and easy accessibility via electric mini cars. There is an entrance fee of just 4 PLN. There is an information board at the entrance, though it is partially destroyed. Despite this, I would still recommend visiting the gully on your own. However, it's best to avoid visiting on rainy days, as the wet ground can make walking difficult.
Place is absolutely fantastic. Exposed roots forms fantastic natural sculptures Avoid in rains - it gets slippery and immensely muddy
Simply magnificent. It is currently "closed" by the police because of some event that happened a month ago. You just need to move the plastic fence and walk in . Do not miss it. It is really special and this phenomena is rare. Take your time, it is a short walk (a few hundred meters). Highly recommended.
Very nice place, worth to go. The visit is not very long but quite nice. You have to pay for the visit, what I consider really abusive, taking into consideration is an open place in the nature.
Amazing nighttime trip with a very knowledgeable guide. Ensure you check the availability (weather and number-dependant) at the corner where electric buses stop at the city square.
A magical outdoor experience located about 30min walk away from town. Car park was right next to the entrance if you want to drive there. There's a small entry fee but totally worth it in my opinion.
Some most incredible nature experience I saw in Poland, Kazimierz Dolny. It can be 3D map and implement in video games or virtual reality. I can strongly recommend to see it during East Poland trip.

Authentic and beautiful, this old town square is absolutely gorgeous. You have to come and see for yourself!
Kazimierz Dolny’s town center, or Rynek, is a charming, picturesque square that captures the heart of this historic Polish town. Surrounded by beautifully preserved Renaissance townhouses, including the ornate Przybyłów Houses, the square feels like stepping back in time. It’s a lively hub filled with cafes, art galleries, and local craft stalls, making it ideal for a leisurely stroll. The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for people-watching and soaking in the artistic vibes that Kazimierz Dolny is known for. It’s especially enchanting in the evenings when lights illuminate the old buildings, adding a magical touch.
Very lovely place to spend a few hours. You can buy souvenirs.
Beautiful market square with amazing Renaissance architecture. During the day it gets extremely crowded and loses a bit of its charm. I came back the next morning around 6:30 and had the whole square to myself – peaceful, quiet, and absolutely magical.
Historic, scenic and trendy. This ancient town is worth a visit, perfect for a weekend getaway. Definitely is one of my favorite places in Poland!
Well preserved atmosphere of the old town.
Romantic place, busy all year long with magical feeling of the past with many historical buildings. Loads of small galleries and restaurants around.
I was there during summer vacation. Very Nice village and the walk by the river is also very nice. In the main square were gipsys and they were taking advantage of the tourists. I think the locals must do something about it. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THE GIPSYS !!! Is also sad that the locals are not doing something and just observating what happens

Memorial to the Jews from the Kazimierz Dolny area murdered in the holoucast. The structure is in the middle of what was the Jewish cemetery and is built from the head stones left after the Nazis desecrated the site.
a very moving and authentic place. Some of the tombstones are easily readable and the whole structure in the midst of the forest is awe-inspiring. The nazis lost, the Jews - despite the horrific event - survived and flourished. It is a great historical lesson in perseverance.
Very very amazing and nice place to visit close to Kazimierz Dolny. I recommend everyone to go there, however you should go by car or you can pick a transport inside the city to go there. It is nice monument but there is not so much so see there, only this. :-)
Amazing place with huge historical background. Really worth to see.
(Translated by Google) The Jewish cemetery in Kazimierz Dolny is a remarkable place for reflection and contemplation on history and the passage of time. Just entering the forest path creates an atmosphere of peace. Admission is free, but you must climb a flight of stairs to reach the cemetery grounds – it's worth keeping this in mind when planning your visit. This place holds immense historical and emotional value – not only does it remind you of Kazimierz's former residents but also encourages reflection on the fate of the entire Jewish community in Poland. A quiet walk among the trees and old tombstones is a lesson in history and humanity that will long remain in the memory. (Original) Cmentarz żydowski w Kazimierzu Dolnym to niezwykłe miejsce zadumy i refleksji nad historią i przemijaniem.
(Translated by Google) The Jewish Cemetery in Kazimierz Dolny is easy to miss from the road; you have to stop at a small parking lot. The place is quite impressive, considering that during the German occupation, it was practically razed to the ground, and the tombstones were used by the Germans, among other things, to pave the way to the monastery where the Gestapo had its headquarters. Behind the wall commemorating those events, there's a forest with a dozen or so graves. Miejsce to robi duże wrażenie, wiedząc, że w czasie okupacji niemieckiej został on praktycznie zrównany z ziemią, a macewy posłużyły Niemcom m.in. utwardzenia drogi do klasztoru, gdzie gestapo miało siedzibę.
(Translated by Google) The cemetery is essentially Kazimierz's "Wailing Wall," with several forgotten monuments nestled among the trees behind it. It's a shame the city won't take this historical monument under its wing. It's worth seeing and allowing yourself a moment of reflection. Very nice place, we visited on a cold day but I bet it's super nice in the summer. Recommend it.
The main old town in Kazimierz is very pretty and picturesque. The shops offer a variety of souvenirs but they are quite pricy. Most shops accept cards but it is good to have some cash just in case. The castle is ruins and some walls, but offers a good view on the town and the river. If you are planning to get to Kazimierz by public transport, plan it ahead as the town does not have a railway station so you can only get there by bus/minibus or car. Some minibuses are more frequent during school year and there are fewer of them during school holidays. Minibuses usually take payment in cash only so it is good to have some spare change.
Awesome place to go with a lot of history. It’s very rare. You get a chance to see anything like this in North America. Definitely worth a stop and the short hike note not stroller friendly make sure you are prepared when getting up there with kids.
Fun castle, shame it was destroyed a couple of times. However the ruins are intact and you can still visit the tower close by.
I’d rather call it the ruins of the castle, but it’s worth visiting, really. You can walk up or drive almost to the top of the hill (there is paid parking there). Then you climb a flight of stairs, go up the hill and can pay to enter the castle. It’s only the inner yard and one platform with a good view of the city and the river below, and a part of the wall with former prison. That’s about it. So it won’t really take much time. On the other hand you can use your imagination and figure out how the caste might have looked in the times before it became ruins… it’s very windy up there too. All in all, it was rather interesting to visit this castle
Fun stop with the kids for one hour. Check out the castle ruins then up to the tower to see the view of the Vistula river. You’ll need a ticket to get into either. Kids up to 7 are free. Adults are either 13 regular or 10 zl discount. We bought tickets right at the entrance and parked next door to the entrance for 5zl for 1 hour.
I loved atmosphere and the tower with amazing view on the river and the city. The castle itself is not a place of great interest: renewed and restorated it seems so fake... A great pity that when you want to go to the top of the tower you hace to go back to the castle, no opportunity to buy tickets near the tower
5zl to explore this place is definitely a great price, there are ample explanations inside on the history of the castle. Congratulations to the freaking genius who though it was a good idea to put white letters on glass in a lit room (sarcastic, ofc), but apart from that a great place to visit, probably the only one in Kazimierz, this little city is sort of devoid of life

Iconic. This hill is an absolute must in Kazimierz Dolny. It has the most beautiful view of the town and Vistula river. It is perfect for photos and to immerse yourself in the surroundings. Come up here and take pictures!
Great location to visit! We went up around 19:30 to 20:00 which meant that it was close to sunset time which I think is the best time to visit. The colours are beautiful especially along the Vistula River. This was my second time up the hill, but this time we didn't have to pay, the booth was closed up with no one collecting payments. This was a bonus!
Hill of Three Crosses (Góra Trzech Krzyży) is absolutely worth the climb! The short hike to the top is a bit steep but very manageable, and once you reach the summit, you’re rewarded with one of the most beautiful panoramic views of Kazimierz Dolny and the Vistula River. The atmosphere is peaceful, especially during sunset — a perfect spot to relax, take photos, and enjoy the charm of this historic town from above. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kazimierz Dolny!
Amazing view, really recommend! Next to this hill are old ruins that are also worth a look. We did not have to buy tickets, but I don't know if this is always the case, because there was a little cabinet with ticket prices (maybe in summer?)
Great view point, it's worth it and climb up the stairs. You need to pay for the ticket at the top.
On the hilltop, the three Jesus crosses rise like sentinels, overlooking the ancient village of Kazimierz with an almost supernatural majesty. The view is nothing short of jaw-dropping—a sweeping panorama of cobblestone streets, centuries-old rooftops, and the glistening Vistula River, all framed by Poland's untouched beauty. At sunrise or sunset, the scene explodes with fiery gold and crimson hues, turning the entire landscape into a vision straight out of a dream. This place isn't just peaceful—it's otherworldly, a raw and electrifying blend of nature, history, and sheer awe. A visit here is an experience that sears itself into your soul.
When you climb up they will charge you for that, still it is a small price for such a pretty view.
Paid entrance to the hill, really? 😀 Especially the fact that the toll is taken when you’ve reached the top. Been to real mountains times more beautiful in other countries, and for free. Nonsense lol :)

We visited in summer when the monastery's doors were opened to visitors. We could stroll through the corridors and enter the inner courtyard with a well. It felt as if time had stood still – the austere, thick walls, large windows, the pervasive coolness, and the silence. The sanctuary, or church, after renovation, features a magnificent, original restored altar, probably also from the 16th century. The large, long wooden staircase leading up to the monastery, up a high hill, is truly impressive. (Translated by Google) One of the most interesting places in Puławy, you can see that the museum is in the process of being organized, but there are many interesting exhibits and temporary exhibitions here. It is worth going and visiting this interesting museum, the gentlemen working in the museum have really great knowledge and are very willing to share it. I think I will come back in some time to see what else is interesting to see.
(Translated by Google) I'm cold, but my heart is warmer – or how I accidentally discovered the Arctic in Puławy The plan was simple: Czartoryski Palace, a stroll through the classicist atmosphere, and maybe some ice cream in the market square. Meanwhile – bam! – chance (or maybe it's fate?) led me to… the Polar Research Museum. I don't know if it's an Arctic version of the "Wild West" or rather "Star Wars" on a glacier, but one thing I know for sure: I've arrived at a place with soul, frost, and a huge dose of passion. There are polar bears, snowshoes, expedition notes, and equipment that looks like it just returned from Siberia (and it didn't have it easy there). Everything is presented with panache, but not for show – this isn't some Instagram snow theater, but a true story about people who willingly put themselves in the freezer in the name of science. Two things captivated me most: – the stories of polar explorers who were simultaneously scientists, madmen, and poets (some literally), – and the feeling that this museum was created with heart, not budget, even though the exhibition is surprisingly modern and truly interactive. I was also surprised by… the silence. Not the boring, museum-like kind, but the Arctic kind – as if the walls truly remembered the silence of the glacier. In the end, I thought: this must be one of those places where you can leave a museum and feel chills – not from the air conditioning, but from the emotion and delight. Score? 5 out of 5 seals. Not just for snow and history lovers – for anyone who enjoys discovering the unexpected. It's truly worth it! Tymczasem – bach!

After a few months of activity, they managed to organize 5 rooms with exhibits and many paintings in the corridor. Museum employees are committed, help, guide and are well prepared for their work. (Translated by Google) An interesting exhibition in a non-obvious place for polar science. The host talks interestingly about the topics related to the exhibition. A regular ticket costs PLN 15, there is a parking lot behind the entrance. I definitely recommend it! Zdecydowanie polecam!
