Wąwóz Korzeniowy Dół, located just 2km away from the main square of Kazimierz Dolny, is a winding and scenic gorge featuring an exposed network of ancient tree roots and trunks. It's considered one of the most incredible nature experiences in Poland and is often described as magical, especially for wedding photo shoots. The area offers a wonderful opportunity for a short, leisurely walk lasting no more than 30 minutes.
This place is magical!!! Especially in the fall it feels like something out of a fantasy videogame or movie. The trees create such a unique atmosphere, walking next to them is a once in a lifetime experience. It’s a short 25 minute walk from Kazimierz Dolny and it is an absolute must to visit if you come to the city! I highly recommend this to anyone!
Tadeusz G — Google review
It was one of the most incredible natural experiences I had in Poland. Located approximately 2.5 kilometers from the town center. The gully is around 3 meters deep and has a U-shaped profile. Visiting this site with a knowledgeable guide would enhance the experience, as there is much to learn about its formation and significance. However, even without a guide, it's worth the visit due to its proximity to the city and easy accessibility via electric mini cars. There is an entrance fee of just 4 PLN. There is an information board at the entrance, though it is partially destroyed. Despite this, I would still recommend visiting the gully on your own. However, it's best to avoid visiting on rainy days, as the wet ground can make walking difficult.
Gunay O — Google review
Place is absolutely fantastic. Exposed roots forms fantastic natural sculptures Avoid in rains - it gets slippery and immensely muddy
Ispas C — Google review
Simply magnificent. It is currently "closed" by the police because of some event that happened a month ago. You just need to move the plastic fence and walk in . Do not miss it. It is really special and this phenomena is rare. Take your time, it is a short walk (a few hundred meters). Highly recommended.
A B — Google review
Very nice place, worth to go. The visit is not very long but quite nice. You have to pay for the visit, what I consider really abusive, taking into consideration is an open place in the nature.
Antonio P — Google review
Amazing nighttime trip with a very knowledgeable guide. Ensure you check the availability (weather and number-dependant) at the corner where electric buses stop at the city square.
Piotr N — Google review
A magical outdoor experience located about 30min walk away from town. Car park was right next to the entrance if you want to drive there. There's a small entry fee but totally worth it in my opinion.
Takahashi H — Google review
Some most incredible nature experience I saw in Poland, Kazimierz Dolny. It can be 3D map and implement in video games or virtual reality. I can strongly recommend to see it during East Poland trip.

Hill of Three Crosses, also known as Gora Trzech Krzyzy in Polish, is a picturesque hill in Kazimierz. It is adorned with three crosses that serve as a memorial to the victims of a cholera epidemic that occurred in 1708. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the town and the Wisla River from this vantage point. The climb to the top involves ascending numerous stairs, and there is a small fee for entry.
Iconic. This hill is an absolute must in Kazimierz Dolny. It has the most beautiful view of the town and Vistula river. It is perfect for photos and to immerse yourself in the surroundings. Come up here and take pictures!
Tadeusz G — Google review
Great location to visit! We went up around 19:30 to 20:00 which meant that it was close to sunset time which I think is the best time to visit. The colours are beautiful especially along the Vistula River. This was my second time up the hill, but this time we didn't have to pay, the booth was closed up with no one collecting payments. This was a bonus!
Rachel W — Google review
Hill of Three Crosses (Góra Trzech Krzyży) is absolutely worth the climb! The short hike to the top is a bit steep but very manageable, and once you reach the summit, you’re rewarded with one of the most beautiful panoramic views of Kazimierz Dolny and the Vistula River. The atmosphere is peaceful, especially during sunset — a perfect spot to relax, take photos, and enjoy the charm of this historic town from above. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kazimierz Dolny!
Amir K — Google review
Amazing view, really recommend! Next to this hill are old ruins that are also worth a look. We did not have to buy tickets, but I don't know if this is always the case, because there was a little cabinet with ticket prices (maybe in summer?)
Maika C — Google review
Great view point, it's worth it and climb up the stairs. You need to pay for the ticket at the top.
Moramiko — Google review
On the hilltop, the three Jesus crosses rise like sentinels, overlooking the ancient village of Kazimierz with an almost supernatural majesty. The view is nothing short of jaw-dropping—a sweeping panorama of cobblestone streets, centuries-old rooftops, and the glistening Vistula River, all framed by Poland's untouched beauty. At sunrise or sunset, the scene explodes with fiery gold and crimson hues, turning the entire landscape into a vision straight out of a dream. This place isn't just peaceful—it's otherworldly, a raw and electrifying blend of nature, history, and sheer awe. A visit here is an experience that sears itself into your soul.
James K — Google review
When you climb up they will charge you for that, still it is a small price for such a pretty view.
Nina M — Google review
Paid entrance to the hill, really? 😀 Especially the fact that the toll is taken when you’ve reached the top. Been to real mountains times more beautiful in other countries, and for free. Nonsense lol :)

Historic Sites
The Romanesque remnants of a fortress complex in Kazimierz Dolny offer tourists a chance to explore the ruins. The site features observation decks, including a watchtower, as well as guided tours and an exhibition. Visitors can reach the castle by walking or driving up the hill and paying for parking. Once inside, they can explore the inner courtyard and a platform that provides panoramic views of the city and river below. Additionally, there is a section of wall that used to serve as a prison.
Very nice place, we visited on a cold day but I bet it's super nice in the summer. Recommend it.
Benny C — Google review
The main old town in Kazimierz is very pretty and picturesque. The shops offer a variety of souvenirs but they are quite pricy. Most shops accept cards but it is good to have some cash just in case. The castle is ruins and some walls, but offers a good view on the town and the river. If you are planning to get to Kazimierz by public transport, plan it ahead as the town does not have a railway station so you can only get there by bus/minibus or car. Some minibuses are more frequent during school year and there are fewer of them during school holidays. Minibuses usually take payment in cash only so it is good to have some spare change.
Izzy J — Google review
Awesome place to go with a lot of history. It’s very rare. You get a chance to see anything like this in North America. Definitely worth a stop and the short hike note not stroller friendly make sure you are prepared when getting up there with kids.
Chris V — Google review
Fun castle, shame it was destroyed a couple of times. However the ruins are intact and you can still visit the tower close by.
Tadeusz G — Google review
I’d rather call it the ruins of the castle, but it’s worth visiting, really. You can walk up or drive almost to the top of the hill (there is paid parking there). Then you climb a flight of stairs, go up the hill and can pay to enter the castle. It’s only the inner yard and one platform with a good view of the city and the river below, and a part of the wall with former prison. That’s about it. So it won’t really take much time. On the other hand you can use your imagination and figure out how the caste might have looked in the times before it became ruins… it’s very windy up there too. All in all, it was rather interesting to visit this castle
Anya N — Google review
Fun stop with the kids for one hour. Check out the castle ruins then up to the tower to see the view of the Vistula river. You’ll need a ticket to get into either. Kids up to 7 are free. Adults are either 13 regular or 10 zl discount. We bought tickets right at the entrance and parked next door to the entrance for 5zl for 1 hour.
Jeff — Google review
I loved atmosphere and the tower with amazing view on the river and the city. The castle itself is not a place of great interest: renewed and restorated it seems so fake... A great pity that when you want to go to the top of the tower you hace to go back to the castle, no opportunity to buy tickets near the tower
Alina B — Google review
5zl to explore this place is definitely a great price, there are ample explanations inside on the history of the castle. Congratulations to the freaking genius who though it was a good idea to put white letters on glass in a lit room (sarcastic, ofc), but apart from that a great place to visit, probably the only one in Kazimierz, this little city is sort of devoid of life

Market Square, Kazimierz Dolny

4.7
(11524)
Market Square in Kazimierz Dolny is a charming and vibrant central marketplace surrounded by striking 17th-century townhouses. The square features an old wooden well and is dominated by a 14th-century church and several hills with the ruins of a castle. Along the Vistula river, Renaissance and Baroque granaries stand as reminders of the town's historical significance on the grain trail. Additionally, Kazimierz Dolny preserves traces of its extinct Jewish culture.
Authentic and beautiful, this old town square is absolutely gorgeous. You have to come and see for yourself!
Tadeusz G — Google review
Kazimierz Dolny’s town center, or Rynek, is a charming, picturesque square that captures the heart of this historic Polish town. Surrounded by beautifully preserved Renaissance townhouses, including the ornate Przybyłów Houses, the square feels like stepping back in time. It’s a lively hub filled with cafes, art galleries, and local craft stalls, making it ideal for a leisurely stroll. The relaxed atmosphere is perfect for people-watching and soaking in the artistic vibes that Kazimierz Dolny is known for. It’s especially enchanting in the evenings when lights illuminate the old buildings, adding a magical touch.
Darshan K — Google review

Beautiful market square with amazing Renaissance architecture. During the day it gets extremely crowded and loses a bit of its charm. I came back the next morning around 6:30 and had the whole square to myself – peaceful, quiet, and absolutely magical.

I was there during summer vacation. Very Nice village and the walk by the river is also very nice. In the main square were gipsys and they were taking advantage of the tourists. I think the locals must do something about it. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THE GIPSYS !!! Is also sad that the locals are not doing something and just observating what happens

Zielona Tawerna is a restaurant located in Kazimierz Dolny, Poland. It offers Middle Eastern and Lebanese cuisine with waiter service. The place has received positive reviews for its lovely atmosphere and beautiful garden. However, some have found the food to be overpriced. Despite this, it remains a popular choice among visitors to Kazimierz Dolny, especially for those looking for vegan options.

I am really happy I choose to visit this place. Coming inside it was like visiting the other world with small and beautiful garden surrounding it, and cosy interior. Staff was friendly and spoke English without any problem. Food was delicious and in just perfect amount. Restaurant is suitable for vegetarian diet and is child friendly with specialised menu. Prices could be a little lower but I didn't expect them to be, looking at quality of restaurant. I would especially recommend this place for couples and friends searching for great experience in pretty place.

Excellent service from the young woman. Spoke English too 🙏 Delicious freshly made pizzas. One verdura the other pepperoni. Reasonable price. Lovely location. Clean toilets, but no WiFi..

I mean - this place is legendary so you have to get there - but it is a ripoff - famous bread rooster is now 20 złoty which is absolutely not worth it. You will buy it anyway ;) in other spots you can buy it cheaper but this is not the same as visiting Sarzyński Bakery. It is very nice inside, they have added pizza spot on the side.
Bartek K — Google review
Staff is useless. There was us and only other table occupied and when I took my child to the loo the waitress cleaned our unfinished drinks and took away my food that I bought for takeaway. It was clear we didn’t leave the premises as our coats were still there. Didn’t apologied at all or didn’t offer a new drink.

I had gone here during my trip to Kazimerz Dolny for breakfast. It was really full with a long queue of people at the bakery counter. For the breakfast, I didn’t have a lot of vegetarian options. I went for 1-2 fresh breads and hot chocolate. The side pesto salad and cheese was delicious. I was super happy with the freshness of everything. I loved the hot chocolate, one of the best I have had in Poland. Definitely a must visit if you are in Kazimerz Dolny.

We went there because of the good reviews. We ordered breakfast for two. Generally, everything was very OK, but I would agree with some reviews that this place is a bit overrated. Prices are relatively high, the service was not bad, but also not the best, nothing out of the ordinary. Coffee was relative tasty. (Rated & graded as a café)
Tymoteusz M — Google review
Quite a busy place! You can buy baked things here and some other things like alcohol. You can also sit down for a meal- the place seemed to be quite busy. The prices for certain things seem too high. We bought several baked things to go. Couple of items seemed to be baked some while ago, while others seemed fresher, hence such a mark. Here you can also get “kogut”

The food at Szarada, a Polish restaurant, is highly recommended for its excellent quality. Despite being in the holiday season and during lunchtime, customers receive their ordered dishes promptly within just half an hour. The roasted potatoes and chicken fillet are both delicious and served in generous portions that are hot. The service provided by the staff is pleasant, with special mention to the girls who make genuine efforts to ensure customer satisfaction.

(Translated by Google) I waited 15 minutes to be served. Meanwhile, a single staff member was attending to existing and new customers. It was impossible to miss my table because I was a passing waitress. After fifteen minutes, I politely asked if someone could come over to take my order. I don't mind waiting for the food because I understand that preparation takes a while. I think the longer it takes, the more certain it isn't reheated. Meanwhile, when I asked, she (probably the cook) stormed out of the back room, complaining that it was just the two of them. Well, hello, but am I responsible for the staff shortages? Since it's high season, we need to think about this instead of hurling complaints at customers. I'm not surprised the reviews are so poor. I won't comment on the food because I didn't have a chance to try it.

From the menu, I chose the tagliatelle with chicken and spinach, and my husband chose the pork knuckle on cabbage with bread. The quality of the meal was deplorable. The pasta was overcooked, mixed with defrosted spinach, and the chicken was 6 cubes, 11 cm each. 😆. The pork knuckle was taken out of foil, like from a discount store. And unfortunately, the beer on tap was very stale. 😪. And that's all for the menu. The burger was a decent size; we were stuffed with just one, even without fries. I highly recommend it. (Original) Bardzo dobre burgery, sprzedawane w czterech odsłonach, każdy za 40 zł, my wzięliśmy klasycznego. Kompozycja smakowa idealnie trafiała w nasze kubki smakowe. Burger dość słusznych rozmiarów, najedliśmy się takim jednym bez dodatku frytek. Polecam z czystym sumieniem.

(Translated by Google) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We ordered two classic burgers at "U Jankesa" and... wow! We haven't had one this good in ages. The meat was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor – you can tell this isn't some mass-produced burger, but a truly solid product. Great sauces perfectly complement the whole thing, and the huge portions – no one will leave hungry! Another big plus is the owner – a very nice man with a passion for what he does. You can tell he pays attention to every detail. We will definitely be back and recommend him to anyone who enjoys a good burger! 🍔🔥 (Original) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Zamówiliśmy dwa burgery klasyczne w “U Jankesa” i… wow! Zdecydowanie wrócimy i polecamy każdemu, kto lubi porządne burgery! 🍔🔥

Laid-back hotel offering a bar, a furnished terrace & a restaurant, plus free breakfast & Wi-Fi.
Very nice place. We spend there weekend at Workshops for doctoral student and young researchers in Information Technology. Good food and very nice views. I had room other side that main square and was very peaceful.

Restaurant- raw chicken, terrible buckwheat. Children hated the nuggets- they were totally dry. Generally not worth it. Totally overpriced. Just the service was ok.
Marta K — Google review
Great place with free parking (in strict centre!) and big breakfast (although lacking non-sweet vegan options). The only problems were Wi-Fi (probably had issues because of the crowd during the season) and untight door.

Great location, breakfast just OK, one morning no warm water, next morning uncontrollably hot, it really needs a major facelift, wouldn't stay there again.

Lebanese restaurant
Restauracja Kaslik is a charming Lebanese restaurant located in Kazimierz Dolny, known for its traditional Lebanese cuisine and cozy atmosphere. The restaurant offers a beautiful garden terrace where guests can enjoy authentic Lebanese dishes served on colorful tableware. The menu features delicious and aromatic soups, flavorful falafel with sesame sauce, various types of hummus, grilled seafood, and Middle Eastern salads like tabbouleh and fattoush.
You'd think you just walked into a highlander tavern, but I assure you this spot has fantastic Lebanese food and even nicer staff. Regrettably I don't remember lady's name but I can't recall such a nice and honestly warm service in a long time.
Mateusz W — Google review
As a person who lived in Lebanon for 8+years and loves that cuisine, I must say - most of the ordered dishes tasted authentic Lebanese - or at least close enough! Tabbouleh salad tastes just like in Beirut🙌 Sawwda Djej (Lebanese chicken livers in pomegranate sauce) were ace and highly recommend everyone to try (nearly as good as the ones made in Lebanon! If only the sauce was more sticky and less runny!) Meat and chicken was great. Batata Harra was tasty but... probably the only dish nowhere near to the authentic Lebanese one - which came to my disappointment. We also tried kibbeh which was super tasty and generous 😆 with plenty on pine nuts inside (tip for the staff: toast the pinenuts beforehand for extra flavour!) Overall, one of the best places to eat in Kazimierz Dolny. Super tasty and fresh, generously sized portions and reasonably priced, amazing atmosphere and very friendly staff. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu🙌❤️

We had truly an amazing meal in this restaurant. Im a big liver fan and their Lebanese style liver was to die for (little sweet, with pomegranate) and my husband had tender lamb ribs - delicious. Not mentioning that they have my favorite beer - Zwierzyniec!
Agnieszka C — Google review
We ordered shawarma, chicken wings, halloumi, fries and drinks. Everything exceptional and flavourful. Highly recommend.
Sudeep V — Google review
We've started with a quince lemonade and a double espresso: lemonade was good espresso was weak. It took more than 5 minutes before we could order drinks. I've ordered mixed grill and fatayer and my aunt halloumi. Halloumi was great while fatayer was borderline uneatable and I had mixed grill feelings... Chicken was great: moist delicate and flavorful, beef was average and boring and what I assume was ground lamb was moist and well seasoned but had a piece of cartilage. Creamy sauce was great the other red one I left after tasting. It came with some average bread and a simple salad with lettuce like leaves and cherry tomatoes which would be great if not for too sweet vinegar. Gelatinous probably milk based rose pudding with fig jam was light and flavorful with only flaw being a thin dried layer on top as if it was made a day ago. My aunt was bothered by plastic plates but I wasn't since they seemed high quality. I might come back but only for grilled chicken and lemonade and maybe dessert.

Good food, reasonable prices. Service was a bit slow, considering there were only 3 tables occupied. I was actually surprised to see the east Mediterranean cuisine in Kazimierz Dolny….

The Castle in Janowiec on the Vistula is located about 66 km from Lublin and 71 km from Radom, making it easily accessible by car. Visitors can enjoy spectacular views of the castle and its surroundings, including charming houses and a small park. The castle features exhibitions and offers a unique opportunity to disconnect from daily life amidst green areas. Additionally, visitors can take a ferry through the Vistula River after leaving Kazimierz Dolny to reach the castle.
Nice place to visit when the late summer fest happens. Great view.

1 hour 50 minutes from Warsaw (from Wola). A manor with a small park. Located on a hill, on some kind of white shale. One ticket to visit the castle costs 12 zł. Not much to see — the castle is heavily ruined, but it’s nice to walk around once and have tea in the park. The park offers a good view of the surroundings and the castle ruins.

I would love to go back We were lucky that a storm was nearby, but it didn't rain do we could take spectacular photos of the castle. Near by, there ate some charming houses and also a small park. You can see also some exhibition inside the castle and those housed near by Great to disconnect from the day by day. Many green areas around.

Worth visiting after leaving Kazimierz Dolny (take a ferry through the Vistula River). The museum itself is not a big deal - ruins of the castle (partially renowed, contains hotel rooms) plus nicely set up typical polish manor. The view from both the castle and the scarp are somohow beautiful.

The Park of a Million Roses, located in Belarus, is an enchanting tourist attraction that shouldn't be missed. This park is home to an astonishing array of roses, boasting an impressive variety of over a million different types. The meticulously crafted models of historic landmarks displayed throughout the park exemplify true artistry and attention to detail. Furthermore, the owners of this park are not only kind and friendly but also possess an exceptional level of expertise in their field.
A beautiful unique park filled with tons of passion for history, gardening and coffee. It is a a park with a very unique blend of themes and it works beautifully. The owners of the property are extremely passionate about gardening and history and they have turned their dream project into reality which is presented with this park of a million roses. The coffee here is excellent and it is made with a small amount roses too. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners when I came with my girlfriend, she gave us a tour of the park and also let us sample some of her coffee, she was really friendly, kind and happy. This place is special and there needs to be more unique projects like the world. If you are in a Kazimierz Dolny then you need to check this place out! This place is a beautiful gem!

Amazing place with amazing people. It’s family business and it’s clearly visible that they run it with passion. Tons of beautiful flowers, guide is included in the price of the ticket. I have never seen that number of various kinds of roses. There are also mockups of monuments, so you can learn a bit of the history. They also run small shop you can buy souvenirs, but what is great - also rose-flavoured coffee and tea. And they are delicious!!! Kudos for a great idea and heart put into the business. For people who wants to drive there with own cars - there is parking meter but… in reality it is just the app you need to download. So don’t worry, don’t resign, don’t look around - just download the stuff and pay conveniently with your smartphone. It’s worth it!

Nestled in the charming town of Kazimierz Dolny, Restauracja - Pensjonat "Pod Wietrzną Górą" offers a delightful escape steeped in history. Originally known as Wietrzna Góra, this area has transformed over centuries from a convent's gift to a thriving settlement by the Vistula River. The hotel boasts an excellent location with friendly staff who ensure a peaceful stay despite its central position.
Excellently located hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Although the building is located on a corner, it is remarkably quiet. The family room we had was very spacious with a delightful balcony and lovely views. The bathroom was exceptionally clean and the towels smelt very fresh. The menu in the restaurant is very extensive, and the food is cooked freshly to order. The breakfast was also very good with a decent amount of choice. A really great place to stay when in Kazimierz Dolny!

This nice small hotel is located a few hundred meters from the main square of the town and from the riverside. The price is convenient and includes the parking and a satisfying breakfast. Our room was quite large, with old style furniture, a bit neglected, bed not very comfortable. We did not have dinner at the hotel because the restaurant closes at 20 p.m.

The restaurant is lovely and the interior in it, staff is polite. We ordered pierogi with potato and w cabbage and mushrooms. I am vegetarian and I didn't like the fact that there was a meat on the top of pierogis and that wasnt written in the menu so I was highly disappointed with that. Broccoli soup was delicious.

We were a large group spending Christmas in the Pod Wietrzną Górą hotel. I, together with other members of our party, was impressed by the quality of food - truly impeccable, dare to say it was comparable with my Mum’s cuisine! It’s also worth mentioning how efficient and super polite the service was. Not to forget about great location of the hotel - it’s hard to be closer to Rynek. Overall - great experience at a really good price. The only downside is lack of parking places close by which is problematic - the solution is to use the parking offered by the nearby church, it’s a 1 minute walk uphill from the hotel. Thank you so much for accommodating our large group and making us feel so welcome.
Malgosia S — Google review
Visited just before closing on a week night so it was very quiet, but not a bad thing after hours of travelling! The food was nice, very home cooked in style and with good seasoning, and the waitress was attentive and friendly. The wine was the main let down, I tried both the house wine and the most expensive on the menu and both were tasteless and disappointing. Recommend for a good home cooked meal, but best to stick to soft drinks!

Very nice restaurant. They cooked dinner for my allergy son out of proposed menu. Thanks. I like very much that they have almost everything made from wood old fashioned, even children toys. But kids’ space is rather poor with torn books. They have some pencils but no paper or colorings.

"U Fryzjera" in Kazimierz Dolny is a highly recommended gem among local restaurants. Situated in the heart of the city, this restaurant impresses with its exceptional interior, adapted with attention to every detail. The atmosphere is amazing and perfect for a romantic dinner for two, a business meeting, or a family lunch. Indulge in the unique blend of flavors at "U Fryzjera," where traditional Polish and Jewish cuisine meets modernity.
We started with a delicious duck broth with homemade noodles, delicious and warm. For the main dish we chose pork knuckle(golonka) it comes with fried cabbage, we also added extra french fries. The meat was melting in our mouth, nicely cooked and delicious. If you are a meat lover give it a try. Thank you🙏

Good location for traditional Polish Jewish food. Kazimierz Dolny is a touristic destination and you can imagine many good restaurants around but for the local dishes, this is top 5 options. However the service is not really good and staff almost only speak Polish and some Russian. Better polish your Polish before ordering shakshuka in Polish 😅
Ahmad P — Google review
One of the best restaurants in Kazimierz Dolny. It is situated close to the market square. Some exclusive parking spaces are also availble for the diners. It serves Jewish cuisine. The portions are adequate. I liked the fish soup. Unfortunately the portion varies over time, and perhaps the quality too. Usually I could not finish the soup because of its mammoth size but it was not the case last time I visited.
Muhammad R — Google review
Cosy little restaurant serving traditional Polish and Jewish dishes. They were happy for us just to have lots of small dishes so we tried a wide range including pickled herring, perogi, fried cheese, chicken liver pate and jellied carp. All of which were freshly prepared and very tasty. On leaving there was a great view of the castle lit up with a full moon overhead.

With its friendly and efficient service, Akuku provides an excellent culinary experience that is worth making a reservation for. I had a fantastic dining experience at this charming Polish restaurant in the beautiful town of Kazimierz Dolny. The food was absolutely delicious, capturing the authentic flavors of Poland. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The combination of great food, warm hospitality, and the stunning location made for an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an absolutely delightful experience at Akuku! The food was exceptional, showcasing both creativity and flavor. - The soup was rich, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned, with fresh herbs that elevated the dish to another level. - The main course, featuring a beautifully prepared fish, was cooked to perfection—crispy skin, tender meat, and a flavorful sauce that complemented the dish wonderfully. The sides were equally delicious and well thought out. - The dessert was a masterpiece—a poached pear with a creamy base that was both indulgent and light, a perfect ending to the meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were attentive and friendly. I highly recommend Akuku to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I will definitely return!

Everything we ordered was just delicious, done perfectly fine. I ordered tatar and beef stake and they were both definitely one of the best I have ever had a chance to taste. I appreciate perfect level of doneness - not so common even in good restaurants. I strongly recommend this place.

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at this restaurant in Karczmisz Dolny today, and I can honestly say it was one of the best culinary experiences of my life. From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely passionate about what they were serving. It really felt like they wanted every guest to have the best possible experience. Now, let’s talk about the food — because wow! Every single dish that came to the table was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. The absolute star of the evening was the fish dish. I’ve had fish in many countries, but nothing comes close to this. Perfectly cooked, flaky, and tender, it melted in the mouth. The seasoning was spot-on, balanced with fresh herbs and just the right touch of lemon, bringing out the natural flavors in the most delightful way. The accompaniments were equally amazing — fresh vegetables and sides that complemented the fish perfectly. Honestly, it was so good that I could happily eat it every single day. The portions were generous, the prices were very fair for the exceptional quality, and the overall vibe of the restaurant made the whole visit feel special. This is the kind of place you can go to for a casual lunch, a romantic dinner, or even to impress visiting friends and family. In short: amazing food, amazing service, amazing atmosphere. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would — this was a 10/5 experience. Without hesitation, I can say this is one of the best restaurants not only in Karczmisz Dolny, but in all of Poland. I’ll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves truly outstanding food.

A great discover. Staff is great, very patient as well as we made a small mess to choose the table (we were like 13, the whole family) Well presented dishes with always a touch of innovation. I would just give more consistency and taste to the gnocchi, but the rest was really interesting. The location is also important, and I have to say that this restaurant is a really really gem jn the city, a few meters from the river. Recommended

We had a really good time here! We have been travelling for 2 months and this was some of the best food we've eaten and affordable. Our favourite part was our 2 starters: the beef tartare and the duck/vegetable soup (the 2nd with a hint of orange). Both were absolutely delicious! We then had a schnitzel for mains which had a tasty cucumber salad and the Golabki was also very tasty. The food was well presented, portion sizes good for the price and Paulina our waitress was great! Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Middle Eastern restaurant
Nestled in the picturesque Kazimierz Dolny, Hamsa Resto invites you to experience a magical atmosphere that beautifully blends Middle Eastern flavors with local traditions. The restaurant's interior is adorned with enchanting oriental decorations and bathed in warm light, creating an inviting ambiance for every visit. While the menu boasts a variety of vegetarian options and delightful dishes like hummus and muhammara, some guests have noted that certain items may stray from authentic Middle Eastern cuisine.
I would give this place 4 stars but to find a genuinely good restaurant in a tourist place like Kazimierz Dolny is a rarity. Everything that we ate was good, the service was very nice and the outside seating area a bit away from a tourist traffic was excellent. I would like to come back there again.

Interesting place in the center of the town. It has a mixture of different cuisines. What we ordered seemed to be rather plain and lacking salt/spices/taste. Maybe other dishes would be better. The service was fast and the dishes were well-presented. Mulled wine was tasty. The menu is rather big, but it’s rather hard to read as the letters are in small print. The prices of dishes are rather high in my opinion. The place seemed clean.
Anya N — Google review
What I like the most is the atmosphere, and the service. They can speak a bit English, although they have English menu. The food is okay for me, we ordered beef kebab, lamb kebab, and Chicken Tagine Fenugreek for 2 people.

We visited Hamsa Resto with high expectations attracted by the menu and reviews… Classy premises, building nicely decorated and cozy patio. Music was loud and too funky for Hamsa Mojo. Professional staff. Good food quality but if you are looking for authentic Middle Eastern cuisine, this isn’t the place. Too elaborated dishes with no hint of real Middle Eastern flavour. Za’atar is more like a pesto, flowers and Pak Choy garnishing dishes making no sense and lack of the Middle Eastern spices. It’s a NO if you are looking for true flavours and classic Middle Eastern cuisine.

Nothing fancy. We were there last weekend, Me and my husband decided to go to this place to eat. We came inside the resto decided to sit inside, 20 min of waiting and nobody came to take our order so we decided to leave and look for another resto in the area. So if your in a hurry or hungry we would not recommend this place.

Let's start with food, as the place itself is fabulous. Honestly, I should have given it a 4-star review, but for this city, this is a 5-star place. Hummus was great, and labneh with za'atar was lavish and fabulous! Moroccan-style lamb served in a tagine (perfect portion for a couple) was tasty and outstanding but a bit heavy. The place itself is alluring, gorgeous and cosy. The fireplace spot is a perfection for a wine-out date. The front-of-house team was on point. Overall, can't get wrong with this place. For sure will come back.
Robert R — Google review
The restaurant presents Moroccan, Palestinian and Lebanese dishes, even the pottery, as if they were “Israeli.” This kind of rebranding is misleading and disrespectful to the real cultures behind the food. Authenticity matters and this place doesn’t have it.

Restauracja Botanika offers a nostalgic ambiance with vintage decor and music. The dishes are artfully presented, and the lemonade is particularly flavorful. While the salmon rice could have been softer, the service is exceptional, with attentive staff providing a modern twist on Polish cuisine. Prices are reasonable for the quality offered, although the children's menu may benefit from more options and larger portions for older kids.
Visited for my birthday and was not disappointed. Wonderful modern take on Polish food with fantastic attention to detail. Service was very good and waiting staff very attentive. Price was reasonable, higher than most places in Kazimierz Dolny but this is to be expected given the calibre of the restaurant. Only thing that could be improved is children's menu, not much choice and fairly small portions for kids older than 4 or 5. My son loved the fish balls but the dish only came with two (and a portion of potato) which left him hungry. Other than that we had a wonderful evening and I would not hesitate to recommend.

Nice place, decor and music like from of older years. The dishes are nicely decorated. The infusion has to be tortured a little to get its taste out of it, the lemonade is delicious and has a strong flavor. The salmon rice could have been a little softer for black rice. The tables should been wipe clean and they should refresh the window sills and glasses from dead creatures. Wonderful service, a handsome waiter in dark hair showed great culture and tact, took care of the comfort with questions.

I had very bad experience. This is one of the higher priced places, the food is neat as you can see, but they have a very big problem with the service. there was an almost empty restaurant, two bartenders did not speak in English, I pointed the finger at the dish(praws) I repeated but still did not get my dish. we waited a very long time because they forgot children's orders as well. they didnt clean the table, although as I said there was enough time to do so. I am writing such a bad review for the first time because place nice but service was really bad.

This is a genuine connoisseur's restaurant. Off the beaten track, but - at weekends - always full of good food aficionados. Allow it to surprise your with its subtlety and crispiness, the choice of ingredients, the fairest menu in town (each ingredient proportion shown in grams, each allergen clearly indicated). True professionals.

The Department of Life Sciences of the Vistula Museum is a small but fascinating museum that showcases the natural characteristics of the region. Visitors can explore numerous animal taxidermy exhibits, local insects displayed in frames, and even observe prepared insects up close through a microscope. The museum also features fossils, presentations on regional trees, and live displays such as a real anthill and a transparent bee nest where visitors can watch bees at work on honeycombs.
Great educational experience on the subject of local flora, faunta, geology and topography. Small but feature-packed three-storey museum that covers a lot of subjects.

Klubojadalnia Przystanek Korzeniowa is a restaurant in the town of Kazimierz Dolny, in Poland. It serves contemporary, healthy European cuisine with beers and wine. The outdoor seating allows diners to enjoy the views of the gorges while they eat their meal.
Nice atmosphere, style of "free hippie of 70ty's", good fresh food. Worth to stop after seeing "Wąwóz korzeniowy". Very good fresh, natural food. Noodles with green leaves and tasty sauce, herb tea, and tomato soup was enough for lunch for two... Few parking places around. At least three valleys to see near by. Restaurant to rest after walk, refresh with food or drink... even for vegetarians... I recommend... 🍀💖🤗👍

The place is very nice - looks like a hippy hangout in the middle of the forest. They had extremely limited menu, and when we asked for 2 of their 4 main dishes, they said they are not available. Eventually, only drinks were there. Such a shame to take such a place to such a low level.

Went there, started to explore deep gorges with tree roots hanging overhead and sweet mud smell after last days rain, we finish up and found the place. What dragged me in is the frame of Goddess washing her hands like for the virus. Went in, it was amazing! it's like sitting in a room with multiple people with smell of coffee, raw wood, rusty fire place, smoky charcoal, bench fitted tables with vintage uncomfortable chairs (That's the theme ey!!) Old posters, packed pasta, hanging celluloids, torn framed art, windows shelved with sauce, books and plants. Amazing!!! And the coffee! Buuufffzzzzzz it's unique, something called Vietnamese style with the pour over sitting on top of the cup and filtering the brewed coffee for nearly 5 minutes with fog and vapors coming out!! Never seen anything like this before. When you find out great restaurants, cozy bars and warm corners!! Then I got these pictures outside while entering the place. Don't expect pictures from inside, well I was busy making friends and enjoying my sweet raw, unique coffee. Planned already to go there with my whole group and spend the night. The crew in there! yeah made friends and already booked in advanced 😃 Just kidding, didn't book but doesn't matter. You get what I am talking about.

Nestled in the charming Kazimierz Dolny, Bajgiel is a cozy café that invites you to indulge in its specialty bagels. With exposed-brick walls creating a warm ambiance, this delightful spot serves up an array of freshly baked bagels made from top-quality ingredients and traditional recipes. Beyond their signature bagels, the menu features enticing main dishes and fresh salads that cater to diverse palates.
After 20 years, I returned to Kazimierz Dolny and stopped by Bajgiel, a Jewish restaurant, to relive some memories. I began with Zalewajka Kazimierska, a regional take on the traditional Polish soup. This version was made with vegetable broth, fresh sauerkraut, and finished with a swirl of sour cream. It was served with a hearty potato purée topped with crispy bacon or goose cracklings - definitely a unique twist on a classic! For the second course, I enjoyed Czulent, a traditional Jewish Sabbath stew. This rich dish combined slow-cooked beef, pearl barley, potatoes, carrots, and beans in a flavourful broth, all topped with golden onions. A truly comforting and satisfying meal with deep, earthy flavours!

The decor is nice, and the food is good, too. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great, very close to the square and adjacent to many galleries. Even the toilet is clean and furnished. Not easy to identify, though. *Wink However, it is not a big restaurant that can accommodate a lot of people. Also, the food is a bit pricey, and the portion is not that satisfying. It's a pity.

Really good 4* Hotel. You get quite a good value for your money. Jaccuzi and two saunas are included in the price of the room (hot-air and steam). Hotel rooms are not that small (two large suitcases and baby stroller easily fits) and well equipped (for me electric kettle and fridge is very important and that is standard). Last but not least the hotel is very well located. Stairs onto embankment are just across the street (nice romantic walk along Wisła river is recommended) and city center is 300 meters away.

This is not a 5-star hotel but all I wanted was a bad, shower, clean room and quiet to rest. All aforementioned is passed so I grant highest note. But don't choose this appartment of you demand luxury. I've had to come worh my own towel, there is not much spa e in the room, just 1 small kitchen for all and not all rooms have bathroom on the room. Fee is adequate to the standard. Keep in mind that nearby hotel will charge 5x more. There are more amenities yet still all for nothing if all you need is good night rest.

Terrible. This was part of my girlfriends birthday present. We booked a sauna for the evening after our dinner had gone down, and we're quite rudely kicked out only 30 minutes later, being told there was another booking. This has spoilt our weekend, I would not recommend this to anyone. Sorry

(Translated by Google) Oh, what a wedding it was! And the reception too. Unforgettable memories. We held our wedding there this year. A magnificent manor house, professional service, and an atmosphere like no other. Emilia is a true professional; she took care of everything, provided questions, and organized everything. Thanks to her, our stress and worries were minimal. Besides that, it's the perfect place for a relaxed outdoor wedding; our guests felt right at home. The food deserves 5 stars, the guests lacked for nothing, and the decor is magical. We highly recommend it; no one will be disappointed. (Original) Ah co to był za ślub ! I wesele też. Niezapomniane wspomnienia.

(Translated by Google) Before the wedding, we heard many times that couples wanted to finally get the wedding over with – they were so stressed they wished it were all over. Thanks to the team at Folwark Walencja, and especially Emilia, our feelings are completely different – we'd love to relive this day over and over again! We fell in love with Folwark Walencja at first sight – the interior design, the atmosphere, the ambiance of an Italian nonna's home, and the cherry on the cake – the charming patio. We knew immediately that this was the place we would get married and enjoy with our loved ones during the reception. The planning and preparation phase itself was wonderful, and we would gladly go through the process again – this is entirely thanks to Emilia. We felt cared for and listened to every step of the way – during the creation and signing of the contract, during the tasting, while developing the design concept and details, and of course, during the ceremony and reception itself. Every detail we had (and hadn't) thought of was taken care of down to the last detail. The cuisine and dishes delighted us and our guests, and we still hear the oohs and aahs to this day. Folwark Walencja is a rare gem on the culinary and hotel map of the Lublin region – with wonderful cuisine based on high-quality local ingredients, friendly, helpful, and competent service, and an incredible atmosphere. This place has soul, and we will definitely visit again to relive and relive beautiful memories. Thank you so much, because it was thanks to you that our wedding and reception were so special ❤ (Original) Przed ślubem słyszeliśmy wielokrotnie, że pary młode chcą w końcu mieć wesele z głowy – stresują się tak bardzo, że marzą, by było już po wszystkim. Kuchnia i dania zachwyciły nas i gości, a ochy i achy słyszymy do dziś. Folwark Walencja to nieoczywista perełka na kulinarnej i hotelowej mapie Lubelszczyzny – ze wspaniałą kuchnią, opartą na wysokiej jakości lokalnych składnikach, życzliwą, pomocną i kompetentną obsługą oraz niesamowitą atmosferą. To miejsce ma duszę i z pewnością jeszcze tam zagościmy, by przywołać i odświeżyć piękne wspomnienia.

Off the beaten path
For day 4, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Siedlisko Lubicz - Stara Chata Kazimierz Dolny. Not quite as popular as Market Square, Kazimierz Dolny, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 7 hours.

Siedlisko Lubicz - Stara Chata Kazimierz Dolny is a charming and historically rich place that offers room rentals, but due to high demand, it's advisable to plan in advance. The hosts are friendly and the surroundings are beautiful, making it a perfect spot for enjoying local wine and learning about the house's history. The cafe serves delicious cakes amidst a stunning landscape, creating a great atmosphere. This extraordinary old house is definitely worth visiting for a relaxing and enjoyable time.
Breathtaking! Staying here feels like stepping into a fairy tale, with history coming to life in every detail. If I could give this place 100 stars, I would—it deserves all the praise for its exceptional service, stunning location, and overall beauty. We were incredibly fortunate with our booking. There was a last-minute cancellation, and we were the first to be notified. We immediately secured our spot and couldn’t believe our luck! We later discovered this is the only house of its kind, in Poland, built in the 14th century, available for daily rental. It was truly an honor to stay here. Daniel and his wife were outstanding hosts, going above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. We are deeply grateful for their hospitality. Mountain peak
Wzgórze Trzech Krzyży w Kazimierzu Dolnym, also known as Three Crosses Mount, offers a picturesque view of the entire town and the Vistula River. The hill is reminiscent of Golgotha, with three crosses symbolizing compensation to God for the wrongs and sins of the locals. It's believed to protect against disasters, diseases, and war. While the entrance is steep, the panoramic views from the top make it worth the climb.
Great views on vistula reaver and Kazimierz

(Translated by Google) Third place after the Market Square and the Parish on a one-day 5-hour route around Kazimierz and the surrounding area. The entrance is quite steep, but there are stairs and a handrail, so older people can get up without too much effort. It can be crowded on days when the city is full of tourists. But it's worth it - the view is amazing not only of the town but also of the bends of the Vistula River and the waterfront. In front of the city entrance, the toll was 6 Polish zlotys and that's not much, but oh well. I didn't have a chance to see what it looks like lit up at night. There are a few benches at the top where you can rest for a while.

(Translated by Google) Very nice place. I recommend it, the view of the panorama of the entire Kazimierz, although the entrance by stairs is not for everyone. I recommend it even for a trip with a dog. Unfortunately, there is no space at the top to rest and due to the large number of tourists it starts to get dirty. The fee of 6 PLN is not high but it should be invested in additional garbage cans and benches as people want to rest at the top (preferably in the shade) which you can't do on 2 benches (Original) Bardzo fajne miejsce.

Climbing to the top requires some effort, but the views over the town, the Vistula River, and the surrounding gorges are worth every step. The crosses add a unique atmosphere to the place – you can feel both history and a spiritual dimension. The only downside is that the climb can be steep, especially on hot days, but it's definitely worth the climb. In my opinion, the entry fee for this attraction is excessive. (Original) Wzgórze Trzech Krzyży to jedno z najbardziej charakterystycznych miejsc w Kazimierzu Dolnym.

In the front, figures of patrons - St. Nicholas the bishop and St. Christopher carrying the baby Jesus across the river. The tenement houses are certainly a showcase of Kazimierz, it's just a shame that under them there are stands with market junk. Nevertheless, they are definitely worth seeing. (Translated by Google) There's something strikingly coherent about the facades that stand amidst the uninspired architecture of a small town. High culture, a poetry of detail, suddenly emerges from behind wooden cottages that seem to date from another era. The people who built these tenement houses reached beyond the horizon of their time and gazed with pride at Kazimierz Dolny. It would be great if we could find a larger space someday and expand the Kazimierz model :) I only have three suggestions for the owners: - It's worth adding descriptions of the individual sets, like the yellow castle set. It was interesting, and I love such trivia. - It's worth expanding the shop with more mini sets that would also tie into the featured collections. We were willing to spend a lot more money with you, but we didn't really have the money for it. - A place for adults to sit? I know there's no room, but maybe we could at least squeeze in a stool somewhere. :) (Original) Przeciekawe miejsce, w którym moje dzieci spędziły prawie godzinę. Things worth mentioning are the Titanic, the Colosseum, and a huge model of Kazimierz Dolny. There were also my dreams: Rivendell and Orient Express (unfortunately still in the box). If you want to have your food very quickly- that’s the place. But I suppose most dishes are precooked as they serve them too fast to be cooked fresh. The potato pancake was burnt, too… On top of that, the atmosphere isn’t the best, the place is not big, tables are close to each other, people are waiting to get your seat. So if you want to enjoy your meal and talk over it- that’s definitely not the place… Ventilation is not good either, it’s hard to breathe

Awful. Waited 20mins to get menus, and even then I had to ask. After that I had to ask at the bar for someone to take our order after another 20mins, because apparently we didn't exists (add to that that the barmen just straight up ignored me whilst I stood there). They forgot one of the two pizzas we ordered, and then had the gall to say it would then be put at the end of the queue and the wait was another 30mins! (Translated by Google) Congratulations to the staff!!! Saturday at 9 p.m., there's a concert, everyone is packed, and the girls are smiling and chatty. We've been there twice already, and I never managed to take a picture of the food 😂 Today, zucchini pancakes with salmon. Very good. Large portions. Good drinks. And, of course, the best beer on the market ❤️ We always leave happy, and I hope everyone who was there today will recommend it because it was great ❤️ Thank you (Original) Gratulacje dla obsługi !!! Bonjour (Fabryka Naleśnika)

4.7

$$$$affordable
Restaurant
Fabryka Naleśnika in Kazimierz is a top-notch dining spot known for its mastery of pancake making. The variety of options, including gluten-free choices, and the quick, fresh service make it stand out. Despite its name, the establishment serves more like French crepes than American pancakes and offers ample portions that can serve as a full dinner. Diners rave about the goulash filling and tasty fish version.
I had some of the best crepes of my life here! They are so good! The quality of the food and the atmosphere is amazing here, I had Naleśnik Zbójnicki, it was amazing and I highly recommend it. The meat was perfect and so was the crepe! This is a must in Kazimierz Dolny!

A cozy place with very hearty service. We were surrounded by care, we were very pleasant. Very tasty pancakes in which you will find forest mushrooms. If you hot wine there is a real cinnamon stick. 10 out of 10 points, I highly recommend this place!

Very nice looking place, staff was friendly. We went here for breakfast, they are open early enough and have a nice breakfast menu. We recommend this place. The fresh orange juice was a bit different than normal, it felt a bit like a smoothie but that was actually really enjoyable.

We were advised about this place by a friend. Came for breakfast at 09:00am on a Sunday morning. I had the Full English in a pancake and my wife had toasted ham and mushroom baguette. The food and service were both excellent. It is very new and for sure will maintain these standards. They also have five rooms available which we viewed. They are very pretty, clean and with all facilities.

Pancakes are just mind blowing. You cannot get better dine out place in Kazimierz and we have visited many. Those ladies simply mastered pancake catering and made art of it. Variety of versions, tastes and gluten-free options. Comes to your table fast and always fresh. Do not be deceived by the name 'pancake' - this is more like french crepe than American pancake and the size of it is enough to make you a full dinner - goulash filling was great and fish version also tasty as hell. Do not forget that there are also hotel rooms upstairs where we stayed and they are extremely nice, cozy and comfortable. The place is in an awesome location - it sits round the corner of the old town main market square but in a position that gives you a lot of privacy and quietness greater than expected. It takes exactly one minute to get to the main square as well as to the marketplace. The hotel is extremely cozy and quiet. We had an apartment room that really exceeded our expectations. It was very spacious - open space of ca. 700 sq.ft. /60 sq.m. which is much more than any hotel room in a 5 star establishment. Hosts are very friendly and nice people and both check-in and check-out went very smooth. What is worth mentioning is that the bed is extremely comfortable and you sleep like a baby - also very spacious and you will find it absolutely OK even when over 6' tall. They even allowed us to park our motorcycle on the premises and we didn't have to drive it to the nearby car park that is by the way included in the price.

We ware going to get something for dinner but decided to go for walk first but my wife use their toilet. When she come out they are told us that we have to pay 10 zł because my wife use the toilet. Absolutely ridiculous and disgusting was their behaviour towards us but what do you expect from This poor people. They are still behaving like 40 years ago. Nothing has changed. We paid but then decided to dine somewhere else as we do not want to spend any more money at this restaurant. Disappointed and disgusted 🤮

Nestled in the charming medieval town of Kazimierz Dolny, Hotel i Restauracja Kazimierzówka offers a delightful escape with its vibrant rooms and suites. Just a short stroll from historical sites like the Kazimierz Dolny Castle Ruins and Muzeum Nadwislanskie, this hotel is perfect for those looking to explore the rich culture of the area.
We stopped for lunch here when on a day trip in Kazimierz Dolny and had a great time. We came down from the castle with our kids and were nervous seeing all the crowds. Then we saw a sign advertising the hotel’s restaurant with a playground. Sold. This place is a 15-min or so hike uphill from the Rynek, but it feels so quiet and peaceful - like a different world. The garden was lovely, filled with big umbrellas offering shade on a hot day, the playground was a huge hit, and the Polish classics were tasty. But what really made me take time to write a review was how nice the staff were. They were so friendly and helpful. They even brought out balloons for the kids to play with. My daughter had so much fun and didn’t want to leave. This was such a nice interlude in our day - definitely recommend it!

The staff is very accommodating. We weren't guests of the hotel and when we asked if we could sit outside, the lady suggested we should go on the sunbeds instead. It seemed like those were for hotel guests. We spent 3 hours blissfully relaxing. We even started looking to get a room, but obviously everything is booked for the next couple of months.

Very nice location for dinner outside of the busy center. Food is OK if a bit inconsistent. Chłodnik was very tasty but way too thick and too creamy. Placki z cukinii also tasty but mushy and undone. The steak simply not good. Indyk z wątróbką absolutely excellent... You simply never know :) The playground outside the restaurant is always great when dining with kids. Staff is very friendly and service quick. Payment by credit card no problem

After my 'lost passport' experience I can't speak highly enough of this hotel. I left my passport in my room after checking out early in the morning, and as soon as the manager found out he placed several international calls to my Australian number. When I got the voicemails upon returning to Melbourne, I emailed the hotel to ask that they please post the passport to me and offering to pay for any costs. They promptly posted it, emailed me the tracking number and ETA, and advised that the hotel would cover the costs. Now that is what I call service! This very impressive example of customer service aside, the hotel itself is clean, friendly, quiet and located on a serene hilltop just above the town. Thankyou!

The convent Monastery church, known as the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is a charming and enchanting place. If not for its religious affiliation, it could be described as magical. The tranquility within its walls offers a refreshing oasis in contrast to the bustling Kazimierz market square.
Beautiful church with an interesting history and fantastic view over the town. Attended a wedding here and found the inside of the building to be even more pleasing than the outside. Worth the climb up the many steps!!!

(Translated by Google) The Sanctuary of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary and its monastery are one of the most beautiful and important places in Kazimierz Dolny. 🕊️ This impressive church, with its rich history and beautiful interior, captivates from the first sight. The Franciscan monastery adds a unique atmosphere of peace and reflection to this place. It's a perfect place for prayer, reflection, or simply a stop during a walk around the city. The surrounding area is picturesque, and from the monastery hill, there's a charming view of Kazimierz and the Vistula River. A place full of spirituality, history, and beauty – worth visiting not only for believers but also for anyone who wants to experience the unique atmosphere of Kazimierz Dolny. (Original) Sanktuarium Zwiastowania NMP z klasztorem to jedno z najpiękniejszych i najważniejszych miejsc w Kazimierzu Dolnym. 🕊️ Imponująca świątynia z bogatą historią i pięknym wnętrzem zachwyca od pierwszego wejrzenia. Klasztor franciszkanów dodaje temu miejscu wyjątkowej atmosfery spokoju i refleksji. (Translated by Google) A true attraction, the Franciscan monastery with the Sanctuary of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, built in the late 16th century, remains virtually intact. We visited in summer when the monastery's doors were opened to visitors. We could stroll through the corridors and enter the inner courtyard with a well. It felt as if time had stood still – the austere, thick walls, large windows, the pervasive coolness, and the silence. The sanctuary, or church, after renovation, features a magnificent, original restored altar, probably also from the 16th century. The large, long wooden staircase leading up to the monastery, up a high hill, is truly impressive. The only new feature introduced in 2020 by Bishop Budzik of Lublin, the church features the image of St. Charbel, the miraculous Lebanese monk, before whom services are held to obtain graces. We recommend it. Polecamy

A cruise ship is moored on the Vistula River, and a promenade stretches along the shore. The town also boasts a historic church, and on a hill, in addition to the Castle Complex, there's a viewing platform overlooking the entire city called "Three Crosses Hill." For those who enjoy long walks, the Plebanka Ravine, located approximately 2 km from the center, is worth a visit. Kazimierz Dolny is worth a visit. The landscape on both sides of the street is incredibly ugly. Loud, dirty, and messy... The decibels of hammering and grinding can be deafening. It hurts your ears. The noise is tremendous... even on weekends! Be careful! You won't get any rest with that noise and filth!!! I don't understand how such a disruptive activity can be carried out in the National Park??? :-( Who's allowing this? The shipyard should be in a suitable location, not in the National Park, between houses, the Zajazd P Inn, and hiking trails! Such a mess in the National Park is incompatible with relaxation. (Translated by Google) It would seem that there are endless landscapes in Kazimierz. This is indeed true, because it is impossible to see everything. There are so many fantastic places to discover here. The most happening is in the heart of the city - in the market square, on the Vistula River and other popular places - the tower, the ruins of the castle, the mountain of three crosses. These are the places most frequently visited by tourists. Have you seen these locations before? Next time, plan a day to discover new places where there are few tourists, but what you discover will take your breath away 🦋 (Original) Wydawać by się mogło, że w Kazimierzu jest nieskończenie wiele krajobrazów. Tyle tu fantastycznych miejsc do odkrycia. We had żurek and French fries, both very tasty. Friendly service who often come out on the terrace to check on the guests. Looks like it’s a family owned restaurant. Great location, close to the old town square. Reasonable prices for a touristic town.

Fantastic locations run by the people that know what is important in the hospitality market. I tried several dishes and every one tasted amazing. You have to try Mexican dumplings. Amazing mixture of the spicy taste with mild garlic sauce. If you are traveling with your family the kids will enjoy kid’s menu. The service is amazing too. I would give 6 stars if it would be possible!

Restaurant
Nestled in the charming town of Kazimierz Dolny, Restauracja Stara Łaźnia is a culinary gem that beautifully marries history with modern dining. Housed in a stunning building designed by Jan Koszczyca-Witkiewicz in 1921, this restaurant showcases an eclectic architectural style that reflects its rich heritage. After undergoing meticulous restoration, it now boasts harmonious interiors that create the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable dining experience.
Amazing place with great food. We stayed for a week in the hotel and cannot fault it. It is the cleanest hotel and restaurant I’ve ever visited. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped, with en suite bathrooms. Beds are comfortable too. The breakfast was the highlight! Served as a buffet at the weekend. The choice was plenty and the quality of food was great. What’s more they’ve managed to cater for my dietary requirements. The pate and home made hummus were to die for! And amazing scrambled eggs, cooked as I liked it. The waiting staff could not do more for us, extremely attentive, and they have made us feel welcome. I’ve never been to a restaurant where every single waiter/waitress are smiley and helpful! Even when the restaurant was pretty busy. Food was served to the highest quality and in reasonable time, plus very reasonably priced. I will definitely be back.

We tried just tea and snacks (so the portions look small in the photos, but it’s not a full meal). It takes some time for the food to arrive. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the interior. The place is clean, too.
Anya N — Google review
A place worth recommending – the menu is narrow, but executed to the fullest. Everything is delicious – beef cheeks, meatballs, pancakes – the only criticisms are the amount of mashed potatoes on the plate – there's simply too much of it, and the greens (roszponka), which is supposed to be a garnish, but simply looks like the chef ran out of ideas or lacked creativity. The menu itself is narrow and very good, with traditional cuisine, which is fitting for a place like Kazimierz. In my opinion, the off-the-menu Asian dishes are an unnecessary distraction from the solid menu items. The children's menu is OK – the pancakes are a hit. The place has tables outside on a quiet patio, outside the indoor dining areas. It's located right by the Vistula River. The service is excellent – Mr. Krzysztof, who served us, did a great job.

The best restaurant I've ever eaten in. Staff was extremely nice and professional, explaining menu and giving tips on what could be a good choice, they also visited us asking if we enjoy food and to see if anything is wrong. Interior was beautiful and chairs were comfortable. Prices were more than reasonable and food was fresh and perfectly prepared. As soon as we stepped in the waiter asked us what kind of table we want and we were lead straight to one, given menu (featuring sewn in movie poster with short note about said movie inside) and left for few minutes to make a decision regarding our dinner. We could hear soft film music in the background that enriched our experience there. Staff is also English speaking and has available menus in English language. If it was possible, i would give it 7 stars, there was not a single thing that would make me unhappy about that place. I recommend this place to everyone who wants to spend quality time.

International cuisine also with Polish specialities. Try salmon with wild rice or trout with young potatoes + taste local beers. You can find in menu meals for kids. Nice atmosphere. In the summer season there is an outdoor area for guests. Reasonable prices.

Expensive given the size of the portions, came in hardly hungry left really hungry:)) Warszawa tripe soup was great and I guess the 20zl price is fair for this one but the main dish, some overdone meat with mushrooms sauce was clearly overpriced at 30zl. They have no beer on tap, only bottled and the selection of beer is poor. Also the beer is not on the menu, big red flag right there Service was decent, they speak English and there is an English menu. Ambiance is cute enough, not great, not terrible

(Translated by Google) I must admit that the price on the menu is impressive and the meal is quite satisfactory. A rib is a piece of happiness that is not memorable because the portions are so small that you wonder why you paid so much for it. I won't say it tasted good, but the portion was definitely inadequate to the price. A bottle of Pepsi 0.3 for PLN 10 is also an exaggeration, considering that from the benches in the garden you can see the prices in the competitors' premises, the prices and portions, which, however, are the opposite to those here. The service was nice, but the taste remains unpleasant.

XD PLN 44 This entire description is a lie 🙈 a disaster. (Original) Nie polecam tego miejsca.. dania mega słabe, za tą kasę można kupić coś dużo lepszego.. (Translated by Google) The food was good. The forszmak was very salty and watery, but the onion soup soothed it perfectly. The dumplings are nice, although not spicy, a little more pepper. However, the chanterelle sauce is a tasteless mess that only befits a diner in the times of the Polish People's Republic. A few things to improve and it will be really good. The waitress recommended wine to us very well and was very engaged. Far from being recommended, but there is potential! (Original) Jedzenie niezłe. Forszmak mocno przesolony, i wodnisty, ale cebularz doskonale go łagodził. Kilka rzeczy do poprawy i będzie naprawdę nieźle.
