It’s a great lookout, awesome views. Though it was very windy the day we visited. Be mindful there are limited parking spots.
Always skipped this place in the past, but this time around, we managed to stop by It has an amazing panoramic view of some areas of Port Stephens. Parking spots are very limited, though.
It's a very useful lookout point. Wonderful views we stayed for about 20mins parking is very limited.
A quick stop for an incredible view. There are two areas to enjoy the view. Free parking is available in a small parking area at the lookout.
The drive up is steep and winding, but the view from the top is absolutely worth it! You get a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of the entire Port Stephens area, including the bay, Tomaree Head, and the surrounding landscape. It's the perfect first stop to get your bearings and appreciate the scale of this beautiful region. A must-do for the view alone!
Really nice drive with plenty of parking. The view did not disappoint. Very much a place to visit.
A great lookout above Nelson Bay and the area with a boardwalk to the observation platform Lots of great views and a lot of nice plants
Great view, easy to get to and you can drive up!

Better than I was expecting. The crew were friendly and provided a history of the area and took extra time to take us to a known dolphin-spotting area. Would definitely recommend.
The Marina is situated next to the Nelson Bay's City Centre. It has it's own public paid parking limited to 4 hrs at about $5 per hour. There are some cafes and restaurants around. It's a nice place to be.
Taking a ferry cruise is a unique and enjoyable way to travel, especially if you're crossing between islands or coastal cities. From the moment you board, you’re welcomed by fresh sea air, wide open views, and the relaxing sound of the waves.
Have a chance to do ferry to see the whale from Nelson bay. Beautiful places. Lots of restaurant. Have car park space. Good souvenir shop.
The marina is the meeting place for a whale watching tour The tour on a big catamaran was excellent and we saw lots of whales and dolphins
Ingenia One mile beach..perfect spot for a getaway with the dogs..clean cabins & great location..oh the pups enjoyed there little break away also..
Great spot. Bathrooms too far away from marina to be useful tho.
Great spot to moor your yacht, if you have one. Also a decent area for a bite to eat and a bit of food.

Need to walk little more, don’t forget to carry a bottle of water. View is awesome.
Lovely experience. Nice drive with beautiful views.
Great location amazing views awesome food you just have to visit this place. Parking can be tough but if you come to this region and not visit here you have just missed the highlight We had scones & jam and coffee , but the menu is excellent
I brought along 34 elderly tourists from Qld for lunch and despite overwhelming the staff in the cafe, they handled it with amazing calm, great service and delicious food, everyone was delighted with their lunch. Could have easily polished off a couple more of the yummy citrus tarts. The museum is great as well, so much fascinating local history
Lovely scones, scenery and very helpful volunteers.
We had breakfast at the cafe inside the original Light keeper's cottage. It was excellent with great water views. There is a Museum and a Golf Shop, entry by gold coin donation. Well worth a visit.
Has a cafe and shop toilet 🚻 too
Only a gold coin donation the museum is situated in 3 rooms of the lighthouse cottage. One room consists of some local shipping history, one room is about the gun emplacements and ww2 history and the third about the marine rescue history. There is a gift shop and nearby tea rooms as well. Not very many car parks so you might have to be patient.

Visited on the last day of school holidays and had a great time. Entry was easy with flexible options to choose from at the admission desk. Pay as you go or group ride packages, which was super convenient. It's perfect for the younger kids and toboggan were definitely the highlight- so much fun and something abit different. The staff were all very friendly, rock climbing guys were awesome encouraging the youngest to push through the nerves and smash the climb. Highly recommend for a fun outing with kids.
A good destination for all-day activities. Particularly for kids. Have visited this place a few times, and the Toboggan ride is also enjoyable, and it is for kids and adults alike.
A fun family-friendly park with plenty of activities to enjoy. The highlight is definitely the toboggan ride, which is exciting yet safe for both kids and adults. The track runs through a nice natural setting, making the experience even more enjoyable. Besides the ride, the park also offers mini golf, rock climbing, and other indoor games, so there’s something for everyone. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere felt welcoming. The only downside is that it can get quite busy during peak times, meaning longer waits for the toboggan. Still, it’s worth a visit if you’re in Port Stephens and looking for some outdoor fun.
We visited over the last school holidays, and we spent the entire day there with loads of fun. Entry was easy with choices of how you would wish to play/pay. We’ll equip staff and we’re all very friendly and helpful. We had to wait for about 30mins for the Toboggan ride, but it’s probably because of the school holidays, but well worth the wait, by boys went for 3 times. There is also rock climbing, roller skating, bowling, putt putt golf just to name a few(refer to my photo for the full list) do plan to spend a day there.
Toboggan Hill Park in Anna Bay is a fun spot for families with plenty of activities like toboggan rides, mini golf, and indoor games. Great place for kids and adults to enjoy together.
Great place to visit when you are staying in Nelson’s Bay and are looking for a family fun activity. The toboggan run is the main attraction and we would give it 5 star if only the price per run was not so expensive. There is also mini golf and some other activities.
Great day out for kids. The tractor has gone but you can walk to the maze for free. New mini bowling. Tobaggans only 8 + years however younger kids can ride with adult. Surcharge on a Sunday
Kids had a great time, the toboggan was so much fun

It is a beautiful little beach for snorkelling, relaxing, and viewing the local bird life.
One of my highlights from the holiday. Very easy entry to the see and plenty to see if you are snorkeling. Don’t come alone though, make sure there is someone else there with you as there are rocks. And there aren’t many facilities (showers and toilets not close) even though it’s paid parking.
Great place for a quiet swim or to explore underwater. Both snorkeling and scuba diving are allowed, the best time is high tide, water is very clear.. Note it is a marine park so no fishing. Lots of parking and amenities at the eastern end, near the caravan park.
Diving and snorkelling SuperSite. Excellent shore diving and snorkelling.. Only downside is the paid parking that was recently added, but still worth a visit. Have been diving here since the 1980:s and do object to such great public spaces being closed up by the paid parking government cash grabs.
Fly point awesome family snorkelling . Marine Park all about conservation. Lots of fish to see. Easy entry into the water
What a wonderful place to go snorkelling. Between tides is a little bit worrying with the water moving very fast in places but towards top and bottom of tides it is slower moving. The variety of sea life is wonderful for novices and experienced alike. You’ll see plenty of stingrays and enormous flathead amongst the many fishes.
One of the best diving & snorkelling spots around in Australia. Super easy entry, amazing sea-life and great features with corals and small rock formations to view. Really good spot to take a beginner though make sure to check the tides as the outgoing tide creates a massive current on top and under the water which turns this peaceful and beautiful dive into an advanced heavy lifters drift dive :)
Great location to just have a quick dip and to even see some sea critters! There is a carpark right above the beach for easy access. It was so cool that you can snorkel here, it is quite protected and safe in this area. There is a park for picnics nearby and a toilet too, so it’s a great place for a day out. “Jonique Life” If you find value in our reviews please consider following our social media outlets on Facebook and Instagram as we highlight magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted, taken to our table and given the menu. The menu is very diverse and everything seems delicious but we order the fish and chips. The fish was very delicious and you could tell that it was fresh and cooked to perfection. My mother loved the salad and so did the rest of us due to how fresh the vegetables were, and the salad dressing on top. The chips and tartar sauce were also excellent. The staff where so incredibly nice and friendly we felt very welcome they even offered to give use pellets to feed the koi fish multiple times. The tour guide Graham was very passionate about his job and gave us a very comprehensive and detailed tour of the hydroponics system and was very Humorous and welcoming. The surrounding garden and scenery was well maintained and stunning. If you want value for your money definitely come here great for birthdays and events. Will definitely be back again !
Good place to take kids for a fun experience of feeding beautiful Koi fish. They supplied free fish food per child in a small container. We ordered a whole barramundi with sweet and sour sauce. The fried fish was nice and crispy, but the sauce was disappointing.
Superb place! The food, ambiance, and staff are all highly commendable. It's a bit far from the city, but if you're up for exploring regional gems, it's definitely worth the road trip.
There were not much people when we came so we were able to enjoy the place. The kois was the highlight of our visit, they were entertaining to feed while we were waiting for our food. When we attempted to go there the first time, the opening hours on google was different on their opening time that day (i forgot why) when we got there, the lady that we were able to talk to was very dismissive and just short, I think better customer service could be worked on but maybe she was just having a rough day. Anyway we came back the next day and we loved the food. This will be our go to place when we visit Anna Bay.
Fantastic and spacious place to visit and have food! Food, especially barramundi is really yummy, and very fresh! The staff are friendly and helpful ! Highly recommend!
Yum! What a wonderful concept. Fresh fish and veggies, friendly staff and a lovely setting. Can recommend the prawns, thai fish, lemon mytle fish and creme Broulee!
Very good location Very friendly staff We had delicious barramundi cooked well and fresh Very quite i like the koi fish in front Only the rice not cooked very wall may be some people they like it Thank you
Visited this restaurant on a Friday afternoon with friends and had a lovely time, staff were courteous and the friendly. Kids were provided with fish pellets for feeding, they thoroughly enjoyed it. The whole fish dish was not disappointing, delicious!! Will be back again!

Expert guides tell the story of Jameson in a recreated distillery scene with tastings and dining.

It was incredible experience. Our tour guide was amazing. First you get free welcome drink - you have 3 options from Jameson (Jameson with lime and ginger is amazing). Then you go to first room, it’s about history of Jameson. Second room is about how to make Jameson and on third you learn about differences, how to smell and taste different Jamesons. With this guide, it was really amazing and I could stay longer than 45 minutes.
My wife and I took this tour on a Monday morning a few hours before our flight home and had a wonderful time. Our tour guide was very animated and obviously loved his job! Great tour through history all the way to current time. Definitely recommend this tour for any whiskey aficionados or anyone with just a taste for Jameson.
I paid about $26 for the Jameson Distillery tour and it was worth every penny. They start with a really cool 3D projector story about the history and how Jameson is made, then you move into a tasting room where you try four different Jamesons and learn how to properly smell and taste whiskey. It truly feels like a world-class experience. The premium ones were noticeably smoother (whiskey by itself definitely grows hair on your chest 😂), but it was fun, informative, and delicious. After the tasting, you get a drink included — they already have a bar set up with several cocktail options, and if you want another drink afterward you can buy more. The tour guide was incredible — funny, knowledgeable, and made it feel like he actually believed every part of the history. It was so good I found myself thinking, “Do y’all hire? I could work here too.” The staff overall was extremely friendly and helpful. They’ll even hold your bags if you’re coming straight from the airport like I was. There’s merchandise at the end if you want to shop, and the whole experience is just a lot of fun from start to finish. I would 100% come back and I’d tell anyone visiting Dublin to add this to their trip.
What an unforgettable experience at the Jameson Distillery! We opted for the Secret Whiskey Package and savored every moment. The tour was a delightful blend of history, craftsmanship, and fun, with fascinating insights into the company’s founder and the art of whiskey making. The highlight? Learning the skills of whiskey tasting, followed by a truly delicious sampling experience. Despite the bustling crowd of fellow travelers, the staff made us feel so special and welcome. We loved every minute and can’t wait to return!
Had a fantastic tasting tour on my second visit to this iconic Irish distillery. The guide’s deep knowledge and entertaining presentation made the experience memorable. It’s no wonder Jameson remains one of the world’s top selling whiskeys. Highly recommended!
Exactly everything you'd expect from a distillery tour. Great tour guide, samples of the whisky, and the best ambiance. All the employees were stellar and very nice to chat with. You can also purchase exclusive bottles you can't get anywhere else in the world.
This is one of the best distillery tour I’ve ever done! I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin. Our tour guide was really informative and had a great demote of knowledge about the history of Jameson’s. I’m not usually a Whiskey drinker but after trying a Jamesons, Ginger Ale and Lime in the bar I am converted.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Jamison Distillery. I went with my husband and my daughter. It was very informative and quite interesting. There were several experiences during the tour. We tasted whiskeys that we hadn't tried before. Our new favorite one is Black Barrel. We've bought a bottle now that we're back home and have shared it with a neighbor. He is now a fan! I recommend going on this tour. It's fun, educational, and it even has a cute little shop inside.

Great price and a great experience! My little one (7) absolutely loved it and I have no doubt we will be back! The young guys (lifeguards) were wonderful at helping mum (me) out of the water a few times. Little one will be talking about it for a long time! Booked online easy and quick. Thanks for a great morning guys!
Thank you for today. The professionalism and care shown by the life guards and safety talk which proved to work amazingly with all who were participating in the play at the time. Despite a very scary moment when my daughter had a mishap with a fishing lure. They responded immediately, remained calm under pressure, and handled the situation with incredible compassion and efficiency. They made sure my daughter was looked after while keeping the rest of the park safe. Thank you for turning a stressful situation into something manageable and safe. A special thanks to cute Will😀
Kids had an amazing team at Splash Waterpark. The weather was perfect and there were just the right amount of people. The one hour flew by as the kids enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend you to visit this great waterpark.
Great value for a fantastic one hour experience on the water. Very well managed and super safe with lots of life guards. Everything went smoothly and the life jackets were relatively new - nothing old and tattered. Highly recommend it.
I came here on 26 Dec '22 with a big group of 13 from my families. We all had great fun going around different obstacles. With the waves and wetness, they were more challenging than they appear to be. The only concern here is that some older kids were pushing around or doing dangerous stunts without considering others. They paused certian risks to the younger kids and it was a pity they were not warned or removed from the venue promptly. Otherwise, it is a wonderful activity one must do in the Nelson Bay!!
We had the most epic time at the waterpark. Had a safety briefing, headed over to the park and the kids got straight on and had a ball. The lifeguards were lovely and interactive. Thanks for creating such a fun safe space team x
Super duper fun! Great for adults as well as kids. Your hour session will fly by, so make the most of it! Exert a lot of energy from climbing back up all the time and from jumping around.
What an amazing afternoon of water fun for the whole family from 6 to 56 from what I saw. Well organised with lots of life guards looking after everyone. At $25 per person very well priced in my view. Highly recommended on a hot day.

Little Beach at Nelson Bay is our favourite beach ⛱️ we go every year to soak up the sun 🌞 and have a swim at the pool like beach. It's safe, serene, the water so clear and clean, and not overcrowded. We love ❤️ it and go at least twice a year, in February and then by Easter, we catch up with friends and make new ones, it's a beautiful part of Port Stephens, so much to do and see, we highly recommend this beach and the Bay all year round 👍💯⛱️🌞😘❤️👏
Fantastic beach for the little ones. We have a 2 and 5 yr old. Not many waves. Clean and tidy beach. Toilets close-by. Little play area close-by. Big tree to sit under for shade. Quite a lot of picnic benches and single benches. Parking can be tricky and pricey. Shark nets in place.
The best part of our visit here was seeing the pelicans begging for fish scraps. They gather around when fishermen are at the cleaning table by the beach. We spent a couple of hours sitting on the beach and it was peaceful and beautiful. Overall a nice place to visit.
A beautiful little beach to bring children for a paddle/swim and a play on the playground equipment. They can walk on the little jet and view the fish swimming about, and you can enjoy a picnic as well.
Beautiful. Great place for a swim, snorkel, dive, bbq. Plenty of parking. Toilet facilities. Playground for the kids
Beautiful little beach, great for a calm swim and perfect for sunsets
Beautiful quiet beach with boat ramp, jetty, bbq, bathrooms, play equipment and even a purpose built wheel chair ramp into the calm water. Perfect for families with small children. Plenty of excellent accommodation options nearby. Well stocked kiosk nearby.
Absolutely beautiful. And great to fish
