They sadly don’t have elephants anymore (I read online about it and was looking forward to introducing my toddler to them but the forest department took them away a couple years ago). Regardless we had a great time overall. Tour guide, Lucy, was amazing. Fresh lunch was delicious. Great, reasonably priced herbal products to buy from their store .
Very beautiful farm and one of a kind experience if you are visiting for first time. They welcome you with flowers and then serve you a welcome drink. Then you have a option of having lunch or going on a tour of farm. Lunch was home like and tasty. They served both veg and non veg food. It is a buffet. Then on tour they explain you all about the different spices and condiments they grow in the farm and their benefits. At last they pour a mixture of some herbs with water on your back to relieve your fatigue. Overall a great experience.
If you like being around nature and love the knowledge of trees, plants and spices you must visit this Spice Farm. The entry fee was only Rs. 500/- per head which includes a tour guide and a lunch buffet. The welcome to the farm was with a shower of flower petals and a small glass of Lemon Grass tea which has many health benefits. The tour guide is available in Hindi, English and Konkani languages. Our tour guide Saiksha who gave us a tour in English was very sweet, polite and knowledgeable. The tour of the plantation is for about 25 to 30 minutes and is a walking tour. Post that they refresh you with herbal cold water on your back to soothe and calm you. They also give you 15ml of Fenni a local goan alcohol made from the Cashew fruit. You can then sit down for your lavish spread of authentic local cuisine. There is ample of parking space available here and it's better to come in early when it's cooler and has less crowd.
What an amazing experience for the eyes and the tummy… the guided tour was very informative and while it is a large plantation a quick 30 minute walk around the key areas was good to get a feel for this place… the food both veg, non veg including seafood was soooooo tasty… The staff kind, knowledgeable and genuinely trying to give everyone a good time. No Regrets and must visit…
I went here on my birthday — and man, that turned out to be such a great decision! The food was absolutely amazing, and our guide was both knowledgeable and super nice, with just the right touch of sarcasm that made the tour fun and engaging. Everyone we met was incredibly kind. We were actually the first ones to arrive that day, and they welcomed us with flower petals and a warm cup of lemongrass tea infused with cardamom and ginger — such a lovely start! And can I say it again? The food was AMAZING. They served it in earthen pots — not sure if it’s cooked in them too, but either way, it was delicious 😬
It’s a spice plantation & agro-tourism venture located in Curti, Ponda, Goa. The farm occupies around 130 acres and has been developed into a tourist spot where visitors can see how various spices and crops grow naturally. The farm not only grows spices (like pepper, cardamom, nutmeg etc) but also fruit trees, medicinal herbs and practices eco-friendly farming methods. The experience includes a guided tour of the plantation and a traditional Goan meal (buffet style). They have both veg and non-veg options.
Visiting the spice farm is definitely worth it. It's a privately owned farm spread over 130 acres, though only 2–3 acres are accessible to visitors. The guided tour is informative, offering great insights into various spices, their Ayurvedic benefits, and how to identify fake products often sold in the market. The entry fee is INR 500 per person, which includes a guided tour, farm visit, and lunch. The food was delicious, healthy, and they even offer Jain/Swaminarayan options, making it completely vegetarian-friendly. Since the farm is located away from North Goa, it's best to go by car for convenience.
🌿 An Absolutely Wonderful Experience at the Sahakari Spice Farm, Goa! My visit to this spice farm was one of the most memorable experiences of my Goa trip! The place is absolutely wonderful — peaceful, green, and filled with the aroma of nature. Our journey started at 8:30 AM from Panaji, and after navigating through Google Maps, we reached the farm around 9:45 AM. We were the first visitors of the day and were warmly welcomed with a refreshing cup of organic herbal green tea, made from freshly grown spices. Soon after, a guide escorted us through the farm, explaining in detail about the different species of spices, their lifespans, when they start producing yield, and the climatic conditions required for their growth. We also learned about various organic farming techniques used to enhance spice production. Though I forgot his name, I truly admire him for his amazing knowledge, communication skills, and humble nature — he made the tour so engaging! The farm tour lasted about an hour, surrounded by lush greenery, the sound of flowing water, and the soothing scent of spices — it was an absolute delight for the senses. After the tour, we followed a traditional ritual where a blend of two organic oils was applied to our back — said to relieve tiredness, and it truly worked! Then came a chance to taste Feni, Goa’s traditional alcohol made from cashew fruit — like a desi version of tequila! Next, we moved to the dining area for an unlimited Goan buffet, and honestly, it exceeded all expectations — especially for just ₹500 per person! There were around 10–12 vegetarian options and 3 non-vegetarian dishes, along with starters, desserts, and drinks. The flavors were authentic and delicious — finally, I got to taste the real Goan cuisine I’d been searching for throughout my trip. We ended the visit by exploring the farm shop, where we purchased some authentic spices and oils. Prices were slightly on the higher side, but considering they are pure and organic, it’s completely worth it. After relaxing for a while and capturing some photos amidst the beautiful greenery, we headed back to our hotel, completely refreshed and satisfied. 🌴 Overall, this spice farm is a must-visit place for anyone exploring Goa! It’s educational, relaxing, and offers a perfect mix of nature, culture, and cuisine. Highly recommended!

One of the best and most interesting places I have visited in Goa! If you love nature, plants, spices then this place is a must! We had a really nice and knowledgeable tour guide explaining and showing us everything. She answered to all our questions and was really delighted to show us around. After the tour in the "garden" we had a big buffet with really nice food. Also we could buy home made stuff and spices there, which was awesome for us tourists
A good guided trip in the plantation to understand the different spices, their tree and usage. The garden is well maintained. Entry fee is Rs. 500/- that includes food and tour. They have their own store for selling spices and some byproducts. Considering the charges, veg food was not up to the mark.
Spent the afternoon at this beautiful farm, and it was nothing short of magical. The wooden bridge over the creek was so beautiful. We were surrounded by nature, and enjoyed an incredible buffet made by the locals and an insightful and informative guided tour that brought the stories of all spices to life. It was truly an authentic experience, peaceful, grounding, and full of charm. The perfect escape from the usual. Highly recommend!
A beautiful spot in Goa that everyone should experience! I visited with my family on October 4th, 2025. The entry fee was ₹500 per person, which included a decent buffet lunch with fish and chicken dishes. Truly worth it for the natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere.
An awesome revelation of how the spice, herb and other tropical plants and trees are grown. We were welcomed with a fabulous ready drink Solkadhi, a soothing, digestive drink made from kokum and were even offered lunch upon our reluctant leaving of the plantation. Overwhelmed at the counter which had plenty of seeds to sell thankfully, since I wasn't going to leave without them either.
Best spot for family visit. Food is unlimited and tasty. Both Veg and Nonveg options available. Staff is very cooperative and gave nice information about all the spices plants they have.
Wonderful experience at this scenic plantation. Although it is a 100 acre private property, we tour a small part of it with a guide that teaches us the therapeutic, cooking properties of the various plants grown there. We’re also served a welcome refreshing hot clear tea at entry followed by a varied sumptuous lunch buffet prior to the tour. The entry fee of Rs. 500 is worth it. There is a small shop at the site where you can purchase fragrant oils, pure Feni, and spices. Highly recommend visiting this spot if you’re a nature lover, spice enthusiast, or just looking for something other than beaches in Goa.
Really enjoyed this trip today, recommended to us by our taxi driver whilst on holiday. We travelled a 4hr round trip to experience it and dont consider the time wasted at all. The guide was excellent, very informative with excellent English. The location is stunning. The entry included a meal which we both found was exceptional, my wife is very fussy and vegetarian and she had 2 servings. Would highly recommend it to anybody that wants to experience something unique.

beautifully maintained and peaceful temple in Old Goa. Shri Mahalasa Narayani Temple offers a serene, spiritual atmosphere. We were lucky to receive Prasad, which made the experience even more special.
This temple is truly one of the most beautiful I have ever visited – a breathtaking blend of serenity, architectural grace, and cultural heritage that immediately touches the soul. For me, it holds an even deeper meaning because it is my 'Kuladevastana' – the sacred family deity that carries generations of devotion, faith, and blessings. This personal connection makes every visit profoundly special, as though I am reconnecting not only with the divine but also with the roots of my own heritage. One thoughtful aspect that enhances the experience is the convenience of parking facilities right beside the temple. This makes it accessible and comfortable for devotees, young and old, who often travel long distances just to seek darshan. It is a simple yet significant detail that allows visitors to focus entirely on their spiritual journey without the stress of logistics. The temple itself has ancient origins, dating back to the year 1560. Standing within its sacred precincts, one cannot help but feel the weight of history and the countless prayers offered here over the centuries. It radiates a sense of timelessness – a reminder that while the world outside constantly changes, the divine remains eternal and unshaken. There is a profound spiritual depth that seems to embrace every devotee who steps into its presence. Dedicated to Goddess Mahalasa, revered as the enchanting Mohini avatar of Lord Vishnu, the temple exudes divine grace. The idol, the rituals, and the very atmosphere carry an aura that words cannot fully capture – the divinity here is palpable. I would describe the temple as "heaven on earth".The tranquility one feels within is unmatched; it is as though every corner of the temple whispers peace to the heart, helping devotees leave behind the worries of everyday life. Devotees strongly believe that heartfelt prayers here are answered and wishes fulfilled. This faith makes the temple not only a place of worship but also a beacon of hope, drawing countless pilgrims seeking blessings, guidance, and solace. As you explore the premises, you will also come across the Shanteri temple, gracefully situated on the left side. This additional shrine enriches the spiritual landscape, offering an even deeper divine presence within the same sacred grounds. For those planning an extended stay, the temple provides practical amenities – a canteen serving wholesome food and rooms available for accommodation. These thoughtful facilities ensure that your focus remains on devotion and prayer, while your basic needs are well cared for. One of the most charming aspects of a visit here is experienced early in the morning. At dawn, the calmness of the atmosphere is enhanced by the delightful sight of sparrows fluttering around the temple. Their presence adds a natural charm – a gentle reminder of how divinity and nature coexist in harmony. Altogether, visiting this temple is not just about offering prayers – it is an experience that fills the mind with peace, the heart with devotion, and the soul with joy. It is a sacred place where culture, tradition, and spirituality unite, and for me, it will always remain a heavenly abode on earth.
Mahalasa Narayani Temple, Mardol – A Serene Divine Experience 🛕🙏 The Mahalasa Temple, located at Mardol in Ponda, is one of the most famous and ancient temples in Goa, also known as Shri Mahalasa Narayani Temple. The beautiful sculpture and architecture of the temple date back to the 18th century. The temple is well-maintained, with ample parking and just a short walk to the entrance, lined with small shops on both sides. Everything felt so organized and welcoming. If you’re planning a trip to Goa, this temple is a must-visit! The divine aura and positive energy of Shri Mahalasa Narayani will surely leave you feeling blessed. You can also visit nearby temples and explore Old Goa to make your journey even more special.
Divine Experience at my kuldevta mahalasa narayani Temple! Temple is a truly peaceful and spiritual place. The temple is beautifully maintained and surrounded by natural beauty. The atmosphere is calm, and you can really feel the divine energy here. A perfect place to sit, pray, and find inner peace. 🙏✨

A Must-Visit Temple in Goa. I had the pleasure of visiting this stunning temple in Goa, and it was a truly unforgettable experience. The temple's unique architecture is a marvel, setting it apart from other temples I've visited. The tranquil atmosphere and serene surroundings make it an ideal spot to find peace and calm. If you're looking for a moment of introspection or simply a break from the hustle and bustle, this temple is a must-visit.
Very good temple and they have food in the canteen for all three meals.

Wonderful place, lots to see. From meteorite to fossil. One can get fish pedicures in a natural environment. My kids liked it. The concept is very impressive.
We visited Mystic Woods in April beginning. While we could not spot butterflies, it was definitely an experience that felt worth the visit! The space had a very intimate cozy vibe thanks to the well maintained natural habitat. We saw beautiful birds, fish and plants! The caretaker was amazing. It's definitely great for nature lovers.
Mystic woods is a nice spot to visit, especially if you enjoy nature and seeing colorful butterflies up close. The garden is well-kept and offers a relaxing atmosphere. However, the variety of butterflies was not as extensive as expected. The stone collection is quite impressive, showcasing a diverse array of stones in different shapes, sizes, and colors. It’s fascinating to see such a variety in one place, and each piece seems to have its own unique beauty. The display is well-organized, making it easy to explore the collection at your own pace. However, I wish there was more information provided about the origins or significance of some of the stones. A bit more context would enhance the experience. Overall, it’s a nice spot for anyone interested in geology or natural art.
Amazing and wonderful places to take your family and friends, I got to witness 100s of butterflies, a fish spa, saw multiple birds and really enjoyed the company of the man who fought with a construction company to preserve the beauty of the area. Lots of love to the family for the way they treated us and carefully explained everything.
Lots greenery with birds in aviary along with butterflies. Nice pond with koi fish inside . This place has nice display of rare stones placed . The owner gives total scientific information about stones .
We had a wonderful experience at Mystic woods. It is a private property owned by a nature enthusiast couple ..very well maintained with a good mix of butterfly host and nectar plants. We were there just for about an hr but could spot minimum 10-15 different sps of butterflies like Malabar banded peacock, common jezebel, common mormon, common crow, chocolate pansy, common grass yellow, glassy tiger, blue tiger, tiny grass blue etc. We highly recommend the butterfly lovers to visit this place. Additional attraction would be their wonderful rock and fossil collection. The couple is highly cooperative and knowledgeable and we had a wonderful time interacting with them. They also have a unique type of roof garden which is worth visiting.
This place is a treasure trove. Just amazing place to be in. Lots of butterflies n the atmosphere is awesome.
Mystic woods is a basically a small area dedicated to nature, specifically for butterfly breeding. Nature lovers and photographers will definately love it. A place worth visiting once for a different experience. Garden rooftop house is definately a must watch!!

One of the oldest Saraswat temples still standing in its original location, this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It majestically rises in the serene atmosphere of Bandora village, which is 30 kilometers from Panaji city. Intricate carvings and vibrant colors invite visitors to immerse themselves in a spiritual ambiance. The temple also features a magnificent Deepastambha (lamp tower) and a holy tank, both of which are key components of the temple grounds. It is a must-visit when exploring the spiritual and cultural heritage of Goa.
Neat, clean, quiet.... One has to climb around 25/30 easy steps. It is Nagesh (Lord Shiva) temple. Unlike other temples, it is Portuguese Church type construction. It could be obvious because of Portuguese regyme in Goa. Big lighthouse is there. Also there is small water pond.
Beautiful and calm temple! Nagesh is another name for Lord Shiva. Parking facilities are available.
Peaceful and serene. Quiet during the daytime but gets crowdy during an event or festival. Bhatts are decent and polite and you can get your devotional advice done quite efficiently via them. Parking also available in front of the temple. Pleasant experience as always.
It's our kuladevta mandir located near nageshi
Its very beautiful temple painted with dark colors. Place is very peaceful and crowd is less. In front of temple they have water tank / lake in which different fishes are available. Parking place is very small but it was empty when we visited on Saturday. I think many people are not visiting this place. Its hardly 15 mins away from Mangeshi temple.
The temple is beautiful with open parking available in ground. The atmosphere inside is divine and devotees perform abhishek. Many people visit the temple during Shravan month. There is palkhi and dinner on every sharavan somvar, which is worth attending. Canteen serves snack and lodging facilities are available for GSB community.
Shri Nageshi Temple in Ponda, Goa, is a revered site known for its spiritual significance and architectural beauty. Nestled amidst the lush greenery of Goa, this temple offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere for visitors to explore and experience. Whether you're a spiritual seeker or a history enthusiast, a visit to this temple is sure to leave a lasting impression.

We have had an opportunity to visit spice farm as part of the organize trip by our tour operator. It was great experience to learn about all beautiful and positive side effects of using all this great spices. In the end we have had option to purchase some of the fresh spices z Unfortunately I haven’t had an opportunity to take more pictures.
It can get really crowded on Sundays and holidays. There should be a cap on the number of bookings accepted on a given day as it gets too cramped up for comfort. 850, that too on a running offer, for an experience like that is not worth it. And as for the people who book in advance and are then faced with the horror of the sheer number of people there, it makes no sense. Plus, no separate counter for people who have done advance bookings just to pick their wrist tags - poorly managed - given that so many on the spot bookings were accepted. The place is not as big as it may seem on photos. So do not get deceived when they claim that the property can accommodate around 800 people at a time. The food was good. One can expect authentic as well as seasonal dishes on the menu. Among the positives, there was drinking water everywhere and the rooms were decent. Activities at Rock Valley are a bit pricey but okay for the experience. I still give it three stars as the property is not bad overall. Needs maintenance at multiple areas which seemed to be under renovation as well. The slides were good.
Used to enjoy this place a lot but now it’s gotten bad. The washrooms are unhygienic and changing rooms are barely usable. The only good part about the place is the food. There’s alcohol allowed so it creates a very uncomfortable situation if there’s drunk people around. The activities are good tho.
Had a horrible time right from the time of entry to exit. To start with when we reached the location we had to wait in line for 25 mins before we got our entry tags and this is despite having done a 100% advance booking. The people at the booking counter were rude and slow. They should ideally have separate counters for those pre booked and walkin. We were told advance booking is required while we saw many people doing spot booking. Moving forward from there we headed to the pool area and were horrified to see the amount of people already in the pool. The place was packed beyond capacity. ( Have shared the video of the overly crowded pool area ). The place should limit entries so as to ensure there is enough space for everyone to enjoy and people don't end up jumping and banging into each other. The food looked good but we avoided it and decided to leave due to over crowding there was a huge line and added to which some people were getting annoyed and arguing. We left the property totally disappointed and a waste of our money and time taken to travel to the location. If you're a person who hates their personal space intruded then avoid this place.
I absolutely love Nandanvan. It's our go-to place every time we feel we need a get away out of our city life. The food is awesome, the place is refreshing, the pools are well maintained and kid friendly. The spice farm tour is super informative and the staff make you feel like HOME.💜
Great place for a get-away. The staff are very friendly and will give you a tour of their spice farm, explaining the benefits and history. They have 2 pools, we had a lot of fun. Their food is absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this place for your next picnic
A warm welcome, clean spaces, good company, great food( lunch was soooo perfect 👌🏼) and an overall good experience. The spice tour was also nice , very informative and nicely explained. Kuddos to the staff ! I have heard it's usually crowded, but since we went on a week day we were the only ones there and had the entire pool and space to ourselves .
One of our best vacations was here. We were totally relaxed, the staff is very friendly, cooperative and helpful. A must visit place.

4 pools out of which 2 are dedicated for kids.. however one pool having slides isn't deep hence kids can have fun. Not too large. Entry fee Rs 300 without food for adults. Overall okay.
This place is not the best that i have visited so far there are many more good farms than this. I had lot of hygiene related concerns: 1. Toilets were dirty and stinking. 2. The changing rooms were mess 3. Food was Average Prawns curry was amazing , chicken was ok but fried fish was not good it felt fish was not fresh and had smell of old fish 4. Swimming pool was ok but again i have serious concerns there as in if Toilets are dirty and not maintained can the swimming pool be clean ? 5. The pool had too much of chlorine my fellow colleague got patches after swimming in the pool 6. It was slippery everywhere please take care if you have senior members. I request the owner to look into the quality of food and hygiene
Very bad management for wedding . We booked hall and there was no proper management. At entrance no security , it was pitch black , while leaving no security , cars parked like crazy it was a mess , and the price they charge !!! Toilets no mirror in gents , rest all seems to be ok . Minor details I don’t want to point out .
A well maintained property. We had our team outing here and we thoroughly enjoyed our day. The slide in the pool was a star feature, from children to older people, everyone enjoyed ! There is a lot of shade around, pool was clean. Location is easy to find. Checkin was Very systematic with coloured bands so that no one else could enter the private area we booked. Happy that we found this place !! We’ll come back again!
Pool is there to only accomodate a slide in the pvt section i went to and the view is nothing special. Rest was clean but washroom doors didn't close
Nice to chill out. But if you are there to buy plants the woman there is diverting customers to anothet place for plants with her connection. The owners are very nice and friendely but this woman will bring their sale down.
Good for outing...four pools available...was crowded when visited ... perfect for family
The farm is amazing.. got 4 pools catering to adults and kids too. It’s a really good place to chill out for group picnics. Except that the washrooms for ladies were locked. Requested them to open them to which the staff said they don’t open washroom bcoz people dirty it!!??? Like what the hell?? Hire cleaners to maintain the washrooms!

It's a excellent place to play to do slide in the water too much better and the water is so like cool 😎 for the price it was good 👍
I visited Nagesh Water World recently, and it was an okay experience overall. The entry fee of ₹550, which includes unlimited food, seems reasonable for a day out, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The water rides were fun, but some of them seemed a bit outdated and could use better maintenance. The pools were not clean. which made it hard to fully enjoy. The unlimited food was a nice touch, but the quality was average. There were a decent number of options, but the taste and freshness could be better. The staff was polite but not very proactive in assisting visitors. Overall, it’s a good budget-friendly option for a family outing or with friends, but don’t expect a top-notch experience.
Kids will Enjoy and also nice Place 😊
Price is 500 including only lunch, they don't provide snacks. Pool area is little bit dirty from outside. Overall nice place but not so clean. They should look after hygiene of customers washrooms need to be maintained.
Best to go with family and children. People choose to go on weekends and holidays. Elders will not get thrilling experience here.
Nice place Cost around 500 with lunch..both veg and non veg(halal) The pool are nice..2 pools are there but both are not too deep The speaker was not so good. Only one was there which cant be audible from long distances One waterfall is also there which is aslo very nice with one natural pond Overall nice place but not so clean.
I visited this place twice one with office staff and one with family. Good place for picnics. Buffet is available. Nice water park. The only cons is there is no proper maintenance and cleanliness. The water used for artificial waterfalls is too dirty and stinking. Rest good
Good place for picnic for all age group. But needs good maintenance. Nice tasty lunch served at nominal price.
