Worth exploring if you have time. Crawl through tight spaces and be rewarded with a beautiful cave.
Wow. Entrance fees with cruise ship discount was about $6 USD. Not strenuous but narrow and low at some points. Very well lit. There are two other more advance cave sections which will require overalls, rain boots and helmets if you dare.
Truly an amazing cave, very tight and low but opens out to some awesome halls. Lots of stairs and winding sections have you guessing what's next. All well lit along the way, i spotted a crab in the wishing well section
This cave is over 175 million years old. It’s 4km long of which only 1 km is opened to the public. If you want, there’s an Adventure Course tour that involves both safety gear and a spelunking guide (reservation is required). Make sure you wear sturdy shoes. A few sections of the cave were a tight squeeze between the rocks. We saw some stalactites and certain exhibits had names posted. There’s a free app to install but On the way up, there are shops selling souvenirs and drinks. There’s a resting area along with a small museum. We even saw a few bats flying around towards the end of the walkway.
Wow. It’s super fun walk ! Take your time and this cave is really cool. Kids loved it and don’t forget to stay and watch the show at the end of the walk. It’s a highlight of our Kochi visit !
Standard course took 20-30 minutes, it was fun to go through! Decent walk, lots of ducking, weaving and squeezing through narrow paths and up ladders. Towards the end there's a bunch of bats too!
I looooove the place. The cave is safe to explore. Enough lights and warnings. There are emergency phones in most corners. It was a little chilly inside so be safe and gear up. Big parking areas.
I went on a bus to a cave. We were told it was 3-star, meaning you had to deem yourself fit to go there, but once down the cave, what it hadn’t mentioned was that you could not be fat. It was funny, halfway along the 1km single track tunnel, we got to a point where seventeen out of twenty-three American participants could simply not squeeze their bulbous backsides between the stalactites and one particular stalagmite. They all had to waddle back, but there wasn’t even enough room for them to turn around. The Japanese tour guide giggled as the remaining five of us squeezed through. Velly sorry, she said.

Amazing museum-a must for any animation fan. The museum itself is a fantastic place to visit. It’s entertaining for both children and adults. The concept of the museum is real fun to explore and I have learned many cool stuff about the author and animation. The museum consist of three parts. Strongly recommend to visit if you are in this part of Shikoku.
It was fun and full of posters and little activities. I thought it would be bigger so my rating is biased due to my expectations. It was cute and a wonderful place to bring your kids! You can see the whole thing within an hour and half for sure. The park outside was nice too!
Children will enjoy looking at all the Anpanman memorabilia. They can also collect stamps at designated areas where they can experience and explore different activities. There is also an area to take a picture with Anpanman characters. After exploring the inside of the museum, kids can also play at the outdoor playground.
We went there Friday last week and it was nice. The architecture of the buildings is modern which leaves you in awe. You can learn about the writer or maker of Anpanman through his displayed work at the musuem. There were statues of Anpanman outside which are huge by the way. You can also ride the SLman for free. They don’t have a restaurant and only has a small souvenir shop. The staff are accommodating. My family and I love this place.
Fun for families and fans of Anpanman. I enjoyed the paintings gallery and exploring the place. It was pretty easy to navigate the train and bus to get there and is a beautiful area surrounded by mountains.
Nice Museum for Adult and kids. There is a restaurant in the building beside that provide nice meal
Not only for kids but adults can enjoy it as well. Tripod can be used extensively outside. Come early in the morning to get around outdoor first then go inside the museum (queueing! ) The ticket is not pricey
This was an interesting and unexpected experience. There are loads of hidden mysteries here which I encourage you to discover. I loved the colourful paintings.

A great little fruit and veggie "stand" with a good selection of local products. They also have some obento (お弁当), flowers and gifts. I suggest to go early as all the best fruits/vegs sells quickly.

(Translated by Google) A roadside station where you can see the Anpanman Museum (Takashi Yanase Memorial Museum) from the window. I had been informed in advance that there was no restaurant at Takashi Yanase Memorial Museum, so I decided to eat here. There were a lot of gutsy types. The kids menu for children also included udon noodles. Personally, I was interested in gibier. (Translated by Google) It's adjacent to the Takashi Yanase Memorial Museum, so it's easy to drop in on the way there, but the selection at the direct sales shop and the food at the restaurant are so good that it could be your main meal. The restaurant's limited-time rice bowls literally offer seasonal rice bowls for a limited time, so I thought it was nice to have something to look forward to, like a school lunch. I enjoyed a delicious meal while looking out over the park in front of the museum. The parking lot can only accommodate a small number of cars, so it's a bit inconvenient that you have to park along the road. When I visited in early April, they were selling large white strawberries. It had a strong flavor and the juice was very juicy, so it was very delicious. The whale-shaped knife was really cute, but since I was traveling with my kids, I thought it would be dangerous to take it home with me, so I gave up on buying it. (Translated by Google) There are now several Anpanman museums across the country, This place is different. It is also the most important place where Takashi Yanase's works are gathered, which was created by Takashi Yanase, who invested his personal funds in his hometown. It is true that the Anpanman Museum is a little small, as we did not expect people to come to the mountainous countryside. However, at Poetry and Fairy Tale Museum, you can now purchase the entire series of beloved poems that were not even sold at major bookstores. I bought all the books without hesitation. Anpanman is extremely popular and Takashi Yanase has a bright image, but Yanase's true value lies in his poetry. You could say that. If you truly want to know about such an author, please visit without hesitation. If you come to Kochi for sightseeing, you should definitely come. The surrounding area is a scenic mountain area. You can also enjoy the idyllic nature of Kochi.

Advance reservations are required for admission, so I applied on their website the day before (go to ASOVIEW and purchase tickets, 1200 yen per person). You can enter if you have a ticket for the main building. There is an exhibition of magazines that Yanase-sensei served as editor-in-chief. At ¥400 per museum, I think it's a very reasonable price considering the exhibits. Unfortunately, as with the Annex, photography was not permitted on the exhibits except for Takashi Yanase's costumes near the entrance. However, as a fan of morning dramas, it was well worth the visit, as it allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of the history of Poetry and Fairy Tales. I particularly found the heartwarming message to readers at a time when Poetry and Fairy Tales was on the verge of being discontinued to be fascinating.

(Translated by Google) I took the Otochi Line from Tosa-Yamada Station. A free pass was cheaper for a round-trip. The bus quieted down as the students disembarked in front of the university. Eventually, we arrived at our final stop, Mirafu, the birthplace of Takashi Yanase. As I entered the museum, an elderly woman cleaning the building spoke to me. She's a senior citizen and has been working here since 2019, so she's very knowledgeable about the museum's operations. The museum's exterior remains the same, but the interior was renovated last year. Since the airing of the TV drama "Anpan," the number of visitors has skyrocketed, and reservations are now required. She told me she'd met Motoki Nakazawa (who played Chihiro) and said she could see his aura. The museum also had many original Anpanman drawings and explanations on display, as well as information on his relationship with his ally, Izumi Taku. The friendship between the two characters was heartwarming. Next, I went to the "Poetry and Fairy Tale Picture Book Museum," where I was once again met by the cleaning lady. We then moved on to Kochi cuisine, and he recommended some crispy peaches (which he hadn't tried yet) and country sushi (shiitake mushrooms, bamboo shoots, konjac, and myoga ginger). In the annex, there were photos from the drama's filming on display, and a red spider lily was reflected in a scene featuring Tomiko, played by Nanako Matsushima. It's currently in full bloom. Apparently, the actual filming took place in Ibaraki, but this photo really captured the atmosphere of the time of year. And finally, there was a letter from Yanase to his wife, Nobu. Nobu drank beer every day and loved mountain climbing. He said he'd be reincarnated as a dog after he died, but he never did. His writing is truly fascinating. For lunch, I tried the country sushi he'd recommended. The rice seasoned with yuzu vinegar was refreshing, and the sushi with rice stuffed inside the konjac was surprisingly delicious. Free campsite, nicely located, very clean with (cold) shower and very kind staff. Best campsite visited until know! Many walking trails around, cooking facilities, but no supermarket nearby.
Beautiful park, the view from the top is absolutely breathtaking!
(Translated by Google) I went camping at the second site for the first time♪ The restroom was clean and we had a relaxing time as if we were privately rented. It rained heavily during the night, but it was still a good thing 😅 It was a wonderful camping trip, with the sound of birds and insects feeling the long autumn nights. The weather was great, but it was raining 😅 I was healed by the view that could see all the way to the ocean ♬.*゚ Along the way, there were places where you could camp and BBQ, so I'd like to come back when it gets a little warmer... I thought so! A tree with red flowers in full bloom...What kind of tree is it? They're so kind and considerate that they even park motorcycles. But there are a few things to bear in mind: There are no groceries nearby, so make sure you book in advance. The free site is angled. Be careful about the direction your tent is facing. The soil/gravel is also hard, so use nails or a steel chisel to secure your tent. There are no bathing facilities nearby, only cold showers. To ensure this space can continue to be used, please clean up and pick up trash after using it. Hokigamine Forest Park is a large park with a perfect location for nature observation, hiking, and bird watching. The park has beautiful scenery throughout the seasons, and you'll discover something new every time you visit. The view from the observation deck is spectacular, and you shouldn't miss it especially during the fall foliage season. My son was very excited to discover various birds and plants while enjoying the nature observation course in the park. We were able to refresh ourselves in nature together. The park also has barbecue facilities and a campsite, making it perfect for families to enjoy the outdoors. In addition, the kind staff carefully told us about the park's highlights and recommended walking routes. Spending time relaxing in nature will help you forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Hokigamine Forest Park is the perfect place to spend some fun time with your family while getting in touch with nature. Next time I would like to plan camping and stay longer. We often hold exhibitions of works by local artists and joint exhibitions. If you stop by, you'll find sparkling pieces that look like you've found a bargain, so it's a must-see. It's also good that there are many exhibitions where photography is allowed. (Translated by Google) I went to a textile exhibition for the first time in a while. All of the works were worth seeing. The exhibition makes good use of the space in one large room. It was an enjoyable exhibition that clearly displayed the abilities of each artist. Recommended. It is running until 2023.12.17. The curators were also very responsive and received high praise. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of exhibition there will be next. This time it was a wonderful exhibition by cloth painter Yumiko Takahashi. I was able to meet Mr. Takahashi and he explained his work, which made it even more impressive. It was a truly exciting exhibition that was both soothing and exciting. (Translated by Google) I visited the museum around 9:00 on a Saturday. The purpose of the trip was to see the "Keiko Shibata Exhibition: Things Born in Life," which was held from Saturday, April 9th to Sunday, June 26th, 2022. Keiko Shibata is a picture book author, and the exhibition space was decorated with many pictures from her picture books. There were also several picture books. There was also a corner where you could color the windows. This time, I went to see it for the first time at the invitation of a friend, but before I entered the museum, I was a mature adult, and I didn't expect to find new discoveries, surprises, or emotions just by looking at the pictures in the picture book. However, as I looked at the paintings on display, I was struck by the originality of the paintings. The painting that particularly left an impression on me is ``Bread Robber''. ``Pan Thief'' is a story about a mouse wearing a Pan mask. Can't you just smile? I would like not only children but also adults to see it. By the way, this was my first time driving to the Kami City Museum of Art, but I wasn't sure where the car entrance was, so I recommend checking the route to the entrance using Google Maps etc. in advance.

I suddenly thought of interrupting you. It was also my first time to say hello to Hachio Utome next door. I was intrigued by the work on the flyer, but Winning some kind of award After ○○, no inspection, etc. Belonging to some ○○ society, etc. Status, honor, title, I don't care. That kind of restraint is stupid💨 That's what I'm thinking, I don't really care who is exhibiting. actually see I want to value my own sensibilities, such as, ``Wow, that's wonderful.'' As usual, with almost no previous information😗 When you go up the stairs and enter the facility, Well, as usual In an unavoidable position, We have installed the latest machinery 😑 When I tried to go to the ticket counter to avoid that, I was stopped as a matter of course. Come, come, bureaucratic nature💨 I don't want my temperature to be taken at the pineal gland area, so even if I say it's at my wrist. This is a combination of temperature measurement (looking into your face) and hand disinfection, or something like that. Still, when I express this opinion, ``Here, please.'' This is what was brought out ← See image Shut this up 😑 Regarding the exhibited works, Basically, I don't have a deep knowledge of art😁 moreover, I have no interest in organizations or titles. Look at the real thing, Within myself, Ah, I love this. I don't like this. I felt many different things while watching it. When it comes to art, there's no right or wrong. On the way home, If we refuse to take your temperature with the latest equipment, we will leave you with that spray bottle. What makes you feel refreshed is I felt a little uncomfortable. I told the woman at the counter😐 anything The staff members are responding to visitors according to what they are told from above. The new coronavirus is When he reached his third year, It's not a new model anymore😓⁉️ We are also studying it ourselves⁉️ Mr. Kadota, who helped me on my way home, was a part-time worker. At least you listened to what I had to say. So, he said he would tell the higher ups. They're guys with big heads, right? The boss is. I have very little expectations😊 (Original)
