Bright red mosque with a tiered roof, notable for its unique, Chinese-inspired architecture.

The mosque has such a unique design. Blending Islamic and Chinese culture.
A mosque I think built in honour of the great Chinese Admiral Zheng He / Cheng Ho. Initially I thought the Admiral had made his way inland from the nearby port of Surabaya but there was no mention of that. Anyway it was a beautiful mosque. The fire red it was painted in and its roof design made me mistakenly took it in as a Pagoda. Maybe that was the intended effect. But the surrounding area could do with some sprucing. A nice discovery nonetheless.
This review is if the restaurant. It’s an interesting place to sit with friends and chat over some food. The atmosphere is fresh and open. But as an ex military guy, I couldn’t help but wonder why there were statues giant Navy SEAL frogs with tridents and guns inside. What is the relation to the mosque or the restaurant?? Interesting but very weird. The food was nothing extra-ordinary, just your basic Indonesian dishes you’d expect in a tourist trap. But everything was clean and good enough.
Quite love this mosque. Have an unique architecture as a mix cultural between Islam and Chinese tradition. What a historical place! Besides the mosque there are souvenirs and foods market that usually crowded by tourism.
a comfortable place to pray, with a very extraordinary design, illustrates if Islam is a peaceful and tolerant religion. with the mosque made with the feel of Chinese. very strategic place. and also the facilities are very complete, it is suitable for a stopover when on vacation
mosque with Chinese architecture which a symbol of Chinese - Moslem culture when trading and sailing era. the name Cheng hoo was from Chinese Moslem trader who bring goods to Indonesia. the mosque isn't big but clean, many facilities and large parking area, there is a market beside the mosque if you want to bring gift home

5k idr for car park, and good places for gift especially from Malang, Pasuruan, and surround area. The best rest area for destination to Malang. Near to pasar Chengho and Oleh-oleh (sweet potato meatbun) Please don’t charge your phone at Masjid, the Masjid Coucil are anger, if someone found charging at Masjid. ONLY THIS ARE THE MINUS @bupati Pasuruan #irsyadyusuf
