Lucy Park is a hidden gem in Wichita Falls — peaceful, spacious, and full of charm. Whether you’re looking to take a quiet walk along the trails, enjoy a picnic by the river, or let the kids run wild on the playground, this park has something for everyone. The suspension bridge adds a unique touch and makes for some great photos. It’s also well-maintained and perfect for spotting wildlife or just getting some fresh air. Highly recommend visiting, especially around sunset — the views are beautiful!
It's a really big park, super beautiful and really nearly kept! It's got tons of things for the family and everyone to do! Disc golf course, kids playground, camping grounds and trails for hiking and exploring the cool scenery and plants! Got to see some new plants I've never seen in person before while walking, but definitely take big spray! The falls and water are really neat and pretty with a cool yet spooky bridge to walk across and check out.
Watch video for more info. Signage not great. Tons of walking paths. The falls is a fun little walk about a mile. Goose and duck pond is hubbys favorite. Rope bridge my fave.
Lucy Park was a VERY CLEAN (minus the brown river), well thought out community park.. I "intended" to go for a quick stroll around the lake with bridges, paths, unique benches, turtles, geese, squirrels, interesting old trees, huge pond leaves (which could've been done easily in 5-8 minutes) and ended up EXPLORING and becoming one with nature for an hour and a half.. 😂😂😂.. Thanks Lucy Park For The AMAZING "Experience" Di'ana & Kamica..
Beautiful park with lots of grass, trees and playgrounds. There's a nice (busy) waterfall, by the highway, that's just a hike away. Make sure to bring water! Reminded me of parks in the Tampa Bay area.
Beautiful, well maintained park. The trails are paved, the pool is clean, and they do a great job with the landscaping.
Caveat cyclers (and others who might be tempted by the "lawns") - We aren't from the area but stopped here for a respite from our road trip to see the man-made falls and bike the trails. While my partner moved our rig to a safer-feeling spot (the main lot had lots of idling vehicles but few people getting out), I walked our bikes across the 'grass' to meet him. This was a mistake. The grass is loaded with thorns (likely sandspurs). After spending 30 minutes carefully picking spikes out of our tires and shoes, we biked the short distance to the falls only to find them broken, with a large chunk of the leading edge missing. To top it off, I woke up to two flat tires this morning. The park does have a frisbee golf course, but hopefully, it doesn't have the same thorn issue. Proceed with caution!
Very beautiful park. It's quiet and the people are definitely respectful. It's also very clean at both the playgrounds and the park itself. I would recommend this place for a picnic or a date. The restrooms were definitely not the best however. But the playground was well kept and clean. The parking lots as well as the roads were also very nice.

Pretty cool spot to stop by if your in the area, with or without kids. We ended doing a tour for a possible wedding venue and Mary was great! Super helpful but not overbearing like some wedding venue tour hosts can be. We ended up staying after the tour to look around and really enjoyed it. Grounds are very well kept and the trails are super clean & pretty.
Great experience, there are trails out back and animals to see indoors, also microscopes to play with indoors. Accessible paths in the back and short dirt paths but main path is paved fully wheelchair accessible. Nice gift shop as well. Only $5 for students and military.
This place is awesome!! There are tons of fun indoor and outdoor educational activities for kids! I love the variety of animals and activities! There’s high tech stuff: video/digital microscopes, wind tunnels, etc., and low tech options: building with magnets/wood, tangibles like turtle shells/rocks/fossils, coloring/etc. there’s a fossil digging sand pit outside and a mud kitchen. So much fun for kids and adults. Not gonna lie, I’m afraid of rats but the rats named Cookies and Cream were adorable. I also think there was a toad named Gladys or Velma or something? Adorable. You can tell they really love and care for their animals.
Such a fun place to visit! They had a lot of kid activities to do for free once inside. Several cool things to see inside as well as informative signs. Kevin (I think was his name) was so informative and shared information with us that we didn't know. The butterfly area was really cool! We liked learning about the ferrets and watching them play. There is a paved and non paved trail, both are just as fun to walk on. The signs along the trail are very informative. Tons of squirrels along the trail and it was fun looking for animal tracks in the dirt part of the trail. Be cautious if there has been a lot of rain recently, the wild side trail looks as though it gets rather wet and muddy. The children's garden is nice as well along with the dino dig area.
Visited with our 9 month old. It was extremely affordable and worth the money. The glass building was under construction but they’ve done a great job at modifying the exhibits. My husband and I enjoyed tapping into our inner kiddo and exploring with the microscopes! The bathrooms are extremely clean and all the enclosures were beautiful. The animals were out and about. The gentleman who helped us was very informative and walked us outside to see the pink bluebonnets which was so awesome! The nature walk is partially paved or you can go on the unpaved part. We stayed on the concrete and thought it was the perfect amount of walking and reading about animals. We discovered new bugs and learned things about animals we see every day. Ended with a trip to the gift shop for a cold Coke, tshirt, necklace, magnet, and stuffed animal for less than $70. Would come again!
My Fiance and I stopped here on a road trip to Utah, we are originally from Michigan. It was a lovely place. The employees were incredibly kind and friendly. An older employee, stopped to talk to us about some of the animals they have. They rescued some or all of their animals which is amazing. The trails were so cute, and I really love how the proceeds go back into the exhibits AND child education programs.
A great place to visit even if you aren't with your children, or grandchildren. The staff are knowledgeable and so happy to help and explain everything to you. So much fun to see animals up close. While there on this visit, I saw the bull snake preparing to shed it's skin and when touched acted like a rattlesnake. Even saw a roadrunner up close. The butterfly enclosure was also great to be able to go to even though it was a cool day and the butterflies were all settled and resting.
What a gem! This is definitely a place worth visiting if in the area. The staff was knowledgeable and eager to share information, lots of local wildlife, and a butterfly area. Nice short walking trail through the woods with lots of educational signs.

We had a great time, The Cabana was perfect the wave pool, the Lazy river was lots of fun!! The food was ok but reasonably priced!! I loved the Pina Colada and we look forward to coming back next year!! Reasonably priced too for price of admission.. Yes maybe do something with the grounds so it doesn't burn your feet.. this was the only downfall..
On the several experiences I've had at this Waterpark, it's been nothing but positive. The staff are very friendly, courteous, and willing to go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and like the experience and cost are worth it. There is a big number of water activities, from the lazy river, to a water polo pool, a large children/toddler section and, enough water rides/slides to keep everyone entertained. The beach area has enough chairs to accommodate everyone. The only downside is cost. It's a little steep, though it's understandable, being the only water park in a large radius. The food is also steeply priced, and though it's good, you won't be spending less than 20 bucks per meal/per person. Overall, this is a great place to come in the Summer and with the proper discounts (military, etc) and planning, you won't break the bank during your visit.
Fun day with the family. The staff was nice, interactive with guests and helpful when needed nothing negative to say or concerns there. Now I would say to maybe do more mechanical work/planning work on the green loop slide as my niece did get stuck. Although that sounds scary they do have protocols and are prompt to release you, just seemed to happen more than you'd expect for what seemed to be a popular attraction. My only other complaint/concern would be the choice in materials to build the WHOLE park. From the lazy river to all the pools it's scraps and cuts galore to come. The lazy river is low in my opinion to start I think it should be at least 4 to 4.5 ft at least but the shallowness is exacerbated with the floors and walls being torture traps. I remember going as a kid and never once can think of a time that being was an issue at this park or any other. That needs to be fixed asap because that can become a health issue if it isn't already. The water seemed to be clean but you never know. The only people who didn't come out with multiple places injured are my 2 small children and that is only because they couldn't touch the ground and/or were lucky to have swim shoes and long sleeves with vests/floats adding a bumper to the walls. I will end with the park is a good place to take your family, but do remember to be FULLY covered with long sleeves and swimming shoes to avoid both the sun and death by a 1000 cuts.
Good slides lots of shade my kids loved the lazy river and basketball/ rope walk area. Go early and it's less busy . Food is expensive like any theme park but decent.
****Today, Sept 4th was the last day of operation for this year & it was terrible! There were very few of the free floating tubes, but they had plenty of the $7 rental tubes, they were short handed so they could only have 2 slides going at a time. This will be our last year buying season passes. It was hit or miss all summer, unhappy employees make for a horrible place to visit. The summer kids threw their managers under the bus every chance they got, even they know its not being run correctly. The city seems to ruin everything they get ahold of. We will continue to go out of town or to OK to have fun times & spend our $. June... We had a great time! We went from 11 to 3, there was just a handful of people & no waiting at the big slides. By 2pm it was getting very busy & when we left it was packed.
We always have a blast here! Perfect for the whole family. They have cabanas and lockers as well for your personal items.
We enjoyed the Waterpark the cabana was spacious & the ceiling fan was nice we had bottled water in our frig a lock box for our items,Staff was super helpful at checkin & my granddaughter had misplaced her season pass so he helped her & never got frustrated he showed patience & he has helped us twice in the past , We had pizza & things were great.
The park itself was great. No complaints there. The things they sell is a different story. Pizza was terrible. The had kids making the food and they don't know what they are doing or they park has given them bad instructions on how to make things. They charge $20 for sunscreen They charge $35 for $6 waterproof case. Come prepared with as much as your own stuff as possible before coming here. Also if you can afford it. Splurge on the cabana for the day. Come early enough so you can have it all day. When the kids go mulling around the park. You can just kick back in the shaded area and drink lemonade or watch the younger kids as the cabana is right next to the young kids area. Entry fee is a bit pricey but overall your gonna have a great time.

Very nice museum. Lots of local artifacts displayed. Good place to visit.
I've been going to the Museum of North Texas History from time to time when I'm in Wichita Falls, Texas for the experience of learning more this city's great history. Easy to find thanks to the wonderful signage in the front, I was able to explore the vast Western history and military displays. This museum is a pretty decent size and even has a theater room in it for various movies. I'd recommend this museum to anyone who wants to learn more of this destination city.
This had so much Wichita Falls and surrounding are history! Our Grand daughter loved the hands on and scavenger hunt. It was informative, interesting, and well worth the vidot
A great place to drop on a Saturday it’s worth the five dollar admission. There’s a lot of very interesting and fun things to look at many different exhibits. The staff was very welcoming and kind. I 100% will be returning.
Fantastic museum with great depth of detail in it's many interesting artifacts and exhibits. Just a couple hours here and I've learned so much about life in this area through the ages. Workers were very nice and knowledgeable. They mentioned plans to continue to expanding the displays. I can't wait to find out more about our incredible past!
Friendly staff, enjoyed seeing more about WF history
This place was awesome. Free but accepts donations upon entrance. So informative and well kept.

Tonight was my first time at the Wichita Theater and I saw, "The Play That Goes Wrong" which is a hilarious comedy about a murder mystery where everything goes wrong. The actors skillfully perform the chaotic errors, making it appear as though their acting is intentionally bad. The physical comedy is well-choreographed and executed, leading to nonstop laughter. The performance was so enjoyable that the audience laughed until their faces ached. The play was a great success, and the reviewer looks forward to the next production, "The Sound of Music," hoping to see some of the same talented cast members. Bravo!
**UPDATE July 2023** Well we said in our 1st review we would be back and we have now seen 2 additional shows here and both were just as amazing as our 1st experience. We saw Wizard of Oz and also The Little Mermaid and both were so great!! Kudos to everyone involved in these performances from the set designer to costume designer to hair and makeup and of course they actors and actresses! All 3 shows have been magical and so much fun for our entire family! Highly recommend and thank yall💗 Sept 2022 Took my girls here for a surprise night out and it did not disappoint at all! We saw Beauty and the Beast and it was a wonderful experience!! The cast was amazing and the set and costumes were great! Even the people working concessions were so sweet and engaging with my girls and made the evening magical for them! We will definitely be back to see more shows here in the future💖
First time here and we saw Mary Poppins. I was greatly impressed with the whole thing...the acting, singing, set up, costumes! Everything was just great. Took my 12 year old son who typically was say "cringe" but he loved it!
Our family had a wonderful time. We went to see the Shrek Musical. It was very cute and fun, everyone did a fantastic job. This theater is great as it's always been. Thank Y'all for keeping the good stuff coming.
Saw the junior Beetlejuice. The show was good. Performance polished and professional. The kids did great
Great local theater with some super fun performances, saw Wizard of Oz and Finding Nemo Jr. Both performances had great costuming and some surprising standouts in terms of performance and vocal abilities. The stage is surrounded by white walls with projectors, which really helps with setting up their backdrops for success and reduces the number of larger set pieces required to set the stage. They also serve wine from a local winery, which is a fun touch! The seats aren't the most comfortable and the height of the seats in the first six rows doesn't change much, so can be harder for those that are vertically challenged or smaller kids to see. They do have booster seats for super small kids, but they're a little too tall for shorter adults and younger pre-teens.
My wife and I had a fantastic time tonight. The atmosphere was wonderful and the production was amazing. From the ticket buying experience, to the ushers helpful and cheerful attitude, the clean theater, the awesome show, I can't say enough. I was shocked at the experience. Thanks for the WOW factor! We will definitely be back.
We had such a great time watching Shear Madness. We'll definitely be back for other performances.

Have season tickets and they are well worth the cost. Every show has been great and have never been disappointed. Staff is friendly and outgoing. If you like theater then definitely grab tickets to the Backdoor Theatre.
Love The Back Door Theater. Just remember to check your tickets to see if you will be seated on the East or West side or in the center. I highly recommend coming to a show. It will not disappoint you.
We enjoyed the opening night of The Cover of Life so much. Such a great cast! Also enjoyed the lobby, which had representations of our heroes of WW 2 and those as well at home. Such a great performance with quick dialog between characters bouncing back and forth so true to life, without the knowing for feeling of rehearsed pause. So good... This review from the author of 'The Reckoning of Rance' and 'Last of the Knowers." I cannot wait to see the next performance given my chance to experience. We just attended The Great American Trailer Park musical and boy let me tell you a fabulous show. Outstanding singing and such harmony. My favorite part was the slow motion scene. You just have to go see it to know what I am talking about. Really great stuff!!!
Love taking my grandson to the shows, it's great entertainment. Update ***Tonight was the dinner theather & the food wasn't very good. The salad was warm, limp & over dressed, the pasta was barely warm, clumpy & needed sauce, the meatballs were salty, hard & overcooked. Same great talents on stage though! Tonight was the Summer Youth Musical, The Lightening Theif. So many great performances!! Another awesome performance tonight!! It's the last one for 2023. We'll be back next year!!
Very clean and friendly atmosphere for plays and shows. Great experience
JUST WOW! Your show last night (The Great American Trailer Park Musical) was EPIC! I’ve done lots of community theater in my past and the actors/actresses, musicians, and production crew did a top notch performance! I was REALLY hoping to win the 50/50 raffle because if I did it was going right back to Y’ALL! The ticketing process and seat selection was easy and thorough on the website. I even had a “Welcome First Timer” envelope on my seat with a hand written Thank You card for coming! I felt like I was the star! I’m thankful that you allowed me to have a bottle of water during the performance, and am very much looking forward to seeing the remodeled dinner theater section when complete. Thanks again for such a professional entertainment venue! Can’t wait to attend more shows!
Love, love Backdoor. The seating is just small enough to feel a part of the action, and large enough to get everyone in comfortably. The plays are always well done and showcase out local talent. I had no idea we had so many talented people in our community.
Currently here on my first visit during intermission of the show Disaster. So far the performance has been an overwhelming success. The humor is plucked straight from the 70s but even a young man in his late 20 early 30s is able to be entertained and astonished. Performance by Zachary Binx, has captured the capitalistic nature of an entrepreneur of the era, while Michael Sherry gives an outstanding performance of a man struggling between love and the standards of machismo. The vocals and dancing continue to be eye catching. While Erin Sherry truly becomes a hidden star in the performance with vocals. As a first time theater attendee I am sure I'll be bringing many friends to this wonderful production. Thank you so much to Backdoor for giving me the privilege of attending.

Best place on Earth!!! Johnny is a wonderful host, and ver knowledgeable. He doesn't miss a beat!!! So excited to bring the rest of our family to visit.
Amazing place with tons of awesome memorabilia. If your lucky you may get to shake hands with the likes of retired pro boxer Pat Duran or retired pro wrestler "Cowboy" Johnny Mantell during a visit. Plan to spend at least 2 hours there cause there's so much to see. There are tv's set up with vintage video footage playing and even a full size wrestling/boxing ring there for you to see. If you bring young kids there is a special section set up for them to play video games or color. This place is a must see!!!
This place is a must see for anyone interested in wrestling history. The curators are friendly and full of knowledge. The museum's content is amazing.
It's full of memorabilia and information. The people are friendly and full of stories about wrestling and those inducted to the hall of fame, because they are a part of that world.
Wow! A cool museum if you are a fan on professional wrestling. So much to see. Only thing needed would be a small gift shop so kids could buy their favorite Wrestler toy or tee shirts. Its was worth going in.
Grew up watching wrestling on TV, Watching movies of Santos and mil mascaras or A big fan of WWF. This is a must if your in Wichita Falls Texas.

The staff/performers we awesome. The actual performances left us in shivers. The drinks were wonderful. We would do this again if given the chance! An evening with Poe, do it!
It was amazing! Definitely worth the price of the tickets and you could tell the speakers gave 110%. Absolutely loved it!
My grandson loves it. It is such a fun learning experience for him.
Nice facility and programs. Limited art on display. The current Cowboy show was nicely done. Enjoyed the sculpture garden.
Fantastic location for a group to gather. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, highly recommend!

Legit. They had me at all the Bukowski tribute quotes and mural just in the men's room alone. Solid brews. Yummy food. Good and unpretentious service. Open and inviting atmosphere (suitable for large groups). Breathes life into the old town. Very down to earth.
This is one of the better breweries in the area that I tried on this short trip to Wichita Falls. I talked with a few locals and they all recommended a stop here if local brews and good food is my thing! (It is) the place was lively each time I went in and the Brisket Sliders they had were absolutely amazing! They have brews and beverages for all taste buds. The staff were great even on busier nights when the lines were long! The Chai was my favorite!
The burger is the BEST in Wichita Falls. Hands down. Order the sauce separately so u can taste the original flavor. Just amazing.
What an amazing brewery. I have been to brewery’s all over the country and this is by far one of the top brewery’s I’ve been to. The beer selection is first rate. There is beer for any kind of beer drinker here. The atmosphere is really industrial and homey while the customer service is top notch. My beertender was knowledgeable and gave great recommendations for a first timer like myself. Everything about this brewery is amazing. If you are considering a place to hang out for a quick brew and bite or a long session… this place will now be my first choice! I for sure will be back!! Cheers!
Excellent food! Excellent selection of Beers! Staff is great as well and very knowledgeable. Their Pepperoni pan style pizza is the bomb dot com! It may look burnt in the picture, but that bad boy had like a caramelized honey on it that will light your taste buds up! (In a great way). Thank you for providing a great atmosphere to the folks of Wichita Falls!
What a neat place! The beer was great, with a good variety of types of beers on tap. The food was pretty good as well, I tried the pizza. Overall the ambiance was awesome. This place has all the traits of a great brewery, I'll definitely be back.
Place was great. Plenty of parking around the building. Huge selection of beers both on tpa amd in can/bottle. My wife and I had two flights and some food. All their beers were good. I highly recommend their Oktoberfest, the Red Ale, and the blood orange IPA. The food there was great too. I had the brisket nachos and my had the chicken sandwich. Both came out quick and tasted great. Josh behind the bar was extremely friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend of you're in the area.
We went here during Hotter'N Hell to promote the Texas Interscholastic Mountain Bike League and start a 5th-12th grade team in Wichita falls! Even though this was their busiest weekend of the year, we still got our food within 20 minutes. All of the staff were incredibly nice and the beer was great. We had the fig and prosciutto pizza and it was also delicious. Definitely recommend!

It's a great big 3 level shop with multiple dealers. I always find something I need or want. The owner is very friendly and there is plenty of parking.
This place is huge and can be a Lil overwhelming if you try to see everything. So much to look at everything from A to Z !! We had a good time searching for different items. The people who work there were great very Friendly and helpful. Some items are overpriced , but that's ok. You can search and find some bargains, some booths offer discounts. If you aren't not a fan of stairs it's best to stay at the lower level. It can be a Lil warm in the summer time. We very much enjoyed our stop at Alley Cats so much to look at!
I love this thrift store! I could spend hours searching the vinyl! The thrift store is inside an old 1800s building. They have no air conditioner so you will get hot fast. There is a little store on the first floor that sells drinks and food. I bought a cup of lemonade for a dollar. I bought five records, a 1940s Coca-Cola tray, a 1950s Pyrex mug, and some cabinet card photos with the names on the back.
Amazing thrift shop with three levels. They had so many things from a wide variety of years. This is the best I’ve ever been to!
This Vintage Store is a Diamond in the Ruff. I was able to buy three vintage cameras to add to my growing collection for a reasonable price and the store cat is so sweet.
Must stop! Worth the drive from DFW! Multi-floor antique and vintage antique mall. Lots of antiques ranging from dish ware to clothing to books and everything in between. Upper floors are not handicap friendly but I was able to make the climb. Go in the morning before it gets too hot, fans and little to no ac.
A really great "antique" store. Well organized and awesome setting. A fun afternoon date spot or serious store to find some neat pieces. Will easily take several hours to see everything. I would highly recommend you go down with a cup of coffee and see what "new" things you find. OH! They also really do have a friendly kitty kat that roams around. 😺
The staff is warmly welcomed, and the premises boast a wealth of intriguing and unique items. It is a place where one can easily become lost.

It’s a very popular park for its lake! I went in February so things weren’t very green so the hiking trails weren’t that exciting, but there was still some cute heart shaped cactus, cool moss, and lichen which is always fun to look at!
If you like Disc Golf, then this is the Texas State Park for you. It has a full course. I appreciate that this park has a relatively long trail, where you walk there and back. However, that course borders the trail for most of it's length. Therefore, I felt like I was at a Disc Golf course and not a state park. There were no players when we went, but you'd have to keep an eye on them if there were, to ensure you aren't hit by a Frisbee. The park is also very flat, but you should expect this, based on the part of Texas you're in. The spring blossoms were nice. This state park is a good resource for those who live nearby. However, it was just okay for me. It's not a State Park that I plan on revisiting and would not recommend for hiking or a pretty view.
Simply beautiful we went there on thanksgiving day office was closed due to public holidays but we entered to the park by doing online purchase, and continue our visit we settled down to picnic area where we were only 3 families that gave us enough opportunities to enjoy our trip with the ease. It has most of the facilities that we expect like boating, fishing, and more and I bet you will definitely enjoy and take your memories with you.
Did you know there's no public display or consumption of alcohol in Texas State Parks? I do, now. The park was beautiful, peaceful, and empty. I loved it, however, the hubby . . . Not so much.
We always have a good time at state parks. The water was decently shallow in the swimming area allowing my kids to explore quite a bit of water. We went on a walk as well.
Large flat, well maintained tent campsites, with room for three large tents. Only critique would be somewhat un-interesting trails that are very flat, but then again it is Texas ;) Restrooms were also very well maintained.
Love this park. The electric campsites have huge concrete pads and covered picnic tables. The trails are nice and well maintained. Park staff are friendly.
We’re were there Nov 20th and only spent the night and part off the next day. We were in a 34’ Motorhome and had no problem finding a spot that easily fit our rig. We only used the trash receptacles but there were plenty of them. The park was clean. It was too cold to get in the water but we definitely plan to come back in the summer for paddle boarding. This is a nice state park to spend a couple of days.

Wedding venue
Sights & Landmarks

It's a nice venue for a wedding. The outdoor patio area sat about 220. It was tight, but fit well. The main room was well done, well lit, and the sound was well done. It was staffed nicely and security was present but not overboard. Not sure how much it cost, but as the officiant doing the service- it got 5 stars.
Management is a dumpster fire! If you leave a voicemail, message or email your may or may not receive a response. Our group had an event on Sept 24 and there was one employee on the entire property during the event. It wasn’t always like this but has gone downhill recently. The kicker is since our group called them out on their poor customer service they replied by letting us know that we weren’t welcome to come back next year. I will add they did come down on the balance we owed.
Attended this lovely facility for a medical seminar offered by United Regional Hospital Urology Department. Very easy to locate, easy to unload and reload, very elegant decor. I can see how locals can use the multi-year faculty for a wide variety of social events.
We had our wedding ceremony and reception here, and everything was amazing! Meghan, the venue coordinator was always on top of everything! She was a dream to work with! Definitely recommend booking with them!
To say that everything about this place is top-notched is an understatement. We celebrated my cousin's wedding there on June 22 & it was AWESOME! I highly recommend this place to anybody!! Great staff!
Meghan was very rude and the other two ladies were nit any better. Jess, Meredith. it does not matter hiw Beautiful a venue is if the staff is horrible. Meghan slammes a door shut on a few guest not allowing entry to the restroom only to find out later there was a alternative door that could have been used but she failed to let the guest know this....all if the ladies walked around with a frown on there faces....as if they didn't want to be there. people pretend very well and then their true colors show.
As a local event production company, I have been very blessed to have worked at the Wellington for both weddings and corporate events. I have found that the staff is always professional and accommodating. The room is stunning and looks amazing uplit! -Laura Mayfield, Mayfield Events
Nice big room for groups. Easy to find. Just go early if you want a parking spot that's close since it's owned by the hotel.

Really enjoyed this museum. Took about 30 minutes to an hour if you like to read the plaques. Located next to the creek/lake across from the main campus. Beautiful location.
Visiting from out of town, and decided to stop by with our 9 month old. The main exhibit was by Delita Martin. Her art was focused around African American woman and was done beautifully in mixed media. The plate wall of portraits was absolutely beautiful. There were two other rooms, one about motherhood and the other about the history of WF. We loved visiting!
The staff was pleasant. The problem is this museum only has 3 rooms; 2 of which are very small and one medium to large room. When we went one of the smaller rooms was not set up. The other issue is that it was only photographs displayed which was great for me as I'm a photographer however I had a 9-year-old with me who lets just say she was less than impressed.😞Thankfully there was no admission fee otherwise I would be more annoyed we did however do the donations that they suggest which that's fine if it helps improve the arts. We were the only visitors.
I've been going to the Wichita Falls Museum of Art at Midwestern State University from time to time over the years and finally got around to writing a proper review. I should note that I go there for both events hosted with several organizations and to enjoy some art exhibits. The layout of the museum portion is quite impressive, leaving quite a bit more floor space for larger exhibits that don't hang on walls. There are, of course, walls for the hanging arts, including additional exhibit halls. The staff there is also very helpful and friendly too.
Very nice rental spaces. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The Black History displays in the art gallery were beautiful.
Very friendly staff. It wasn't busy when we went and we enjoyed the art and history on display.
TY WFM. We enjoyed our time. All art and photography was fun and beautiful😍..👍👍
I had a great visit today and even got to meet the curator. I look forward to visiting again soon. It’s a great museum on a wonderful campus. If you are in town, you should definitely plan to visit. The new acquisition exhibition was exciting to see. The next planned exhibitions will be worth a trip. Thank you for bringing great art to north Texas.

Oh my goodness!!! The guy that worked there was so nice. The things they have are gorgeous. What blew me away is the aquarium!!! Absolutely stunning. Take a few minutes and just watch the fish. So peaceful. Can't wait to go back.
Tons of fun things to look through! And oddly, a nice aquarium with rays and a shark.
I was so lucky to stumble onto this place. It is full of beautiful antiques and all kinds of amazing odds and ends,I absolutely loved the Aquarium they had in their store. First time, but you can bet it's not going to be my last.
I spent more time here than I care to admit. I combed through all the antiques. Then I went upstairs to Dad's lounge and had a beer and watched the game. Then upstairs one more time for a nice brunch. If you look around you can still find some great prices on antiques. Surprisingly friendly service and fair prices. I'm really happy to see the repurposing of old buildings in downtown Wichita Falls. I think the community has a lot of potential. Hope to see more businesses like this in the future.
Nice place.. a different array of items.. a little pricey.. feels a little empty because of how huge it is! But get nice worker. Some prices are negotiable. 😁 Definitely a place to find a crazy something.. big foot sculpture or railroad lanterns!
Love that we can shop then have lunch upstairs best restaurant I have ever ate at. Food is great
Great thrift store with plenty of items to see & choose from. If you're into thrifting, definitely check this place out!
It was neat and interesting. I hope they add more in the future but I liked looking around, found a great vase to add to my collection
