The Grapevine Vintage Railroad is a popular destination for families, offering rides on historic rail lines using 1920s coaches. The attraction also features seasonally themed excursions that are well organized and enjoyable. Visitors can expect professional and helpful staff who provide plenty of entertainment options to make the most of their visit. While food options may be limited, visitors can spend ample time exploring the area and getting value for their money.
A great value for the money. 6 hours of entertainment for under $30. The train and cars are fantastic! Vintage (100 years old) but in great shape. During the summer months choose an air conditioned car. Not much more money. The view along the way isn’t much to brag about, but they have a team of entertainers who do a fantastic job making the time pass. You spend 2 hours at the Ft. Worth Stockyards (the perfect amount of time). The timing works out for you to see the longhorns parade through the street. This train ride is the real deal! You should go.

I’ve done two different ride experiences with them, and both were cute. This is an activity that allows you to experience vintage trains, do something different, and enjoy the ride. They ride on tracks used by other working trains, so you may have to stop and wait sometimes - that’s not a big deal, though, because you’re still on the train! 🙂 I recommend the 45 minute ride for families with small children - it’s just enough time for the fun experience without becoming monotonous for them. If you want an activity that’s going to last about half a day, get the ride from Grapevine that drops you off at the Stockyards for a couple of hours. In general, it’s a cute thing to do with visiting family and friends.

Wowza!😯 This is great fun! It might be the best of the train rides I've had so far. 🙌🏻 The cars are beautifully it restored.👨🏻‍🔧 There is entertainment on board.🎭 Also food and drinks, and a bar! It's a long train ride! Unlike some of the smaller scenic railroads I've been on this train shares tracks with the commuter and freight trains. The price is reasonable, the food and drink on board is reasonably priced too. This is nice because when you get to the yesteryear of the stockades,🤠 reasonable pricing is the thing of the past....🤑😣🫢

It's been a few years since we've taken this Train it was an incredible journey then and now. We had company in from out of state and we wanteted to do something special. However if you are looking for a quick trip down to Fort Worth and back to Grapevine. it's not so fast. Be prepared for a potentially longer yet rewarding journey to Fort Worth it used to be like 45 minutes now there's several stops because they are sharing that train track. It's a truly uplifting change of pace to bring out-of-town guests to do something extraordinary such as ride this vintage train. The Vintage train hires actors who reenact a train robbery with humor. It is really a wonderful comfortable way to see the city sights and let someone else do the driving. From Grapevine to Fort Worth we were able to see the Stockyards and the cattle run. We also saw one reenactment of a gunfight. It was definitely reminiscent of the old west of the turn of the century.

Hi! I was part of the delayed excursion Sunday, and I gotta say- I still loved it! These folks really do try their best to keep things running smoothly, even with dispatch seeing incorrect signals. 27 other trains were also backed up the same day ours was! Thank you grapevine railroad crew!! This railroad excursion is fun, but might be a little iffy for those with very little children- the train noises are loud at times, and there are lights in each cabin that change colors quickly (they’re very small, a strip toward the roof). You’re encouraged to remain seated, so if your kiddos are runners, this might be hard! Sensory wise, it’s a pretty calm experience and there’s even little skits thrown into your journey. Overall, prepare in case of delays (because to my knowledge freight trains take higher priority in dispatch, and that’s what causes it? Could be wrong!), try to keep away from fixed reservations in the Stockyards in case of said delays. There are restrooms onboard the train, snacks, alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages as well. Know before you go, too: the first class cars have AC, coach does not. It’s a very darling attraction with a hard working crew.

A Fun and Nostalgic Ride with a Wild West Twist! The Grapevine Vintage Railroad is an unforgettable experience! From the moment you step into the beautifully restored train cars, you’re immersed in a journey through time. The vintage interiors, scenic ride, and friendly staff make it perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking for a fun day out. The best part? They had a live “train robbery” performance during the ride, complete with actors, cowboy hats, and a playful storyline. It was absolutely entertaining and added a fun Wild West twist to the whole trip—kids and adults alike were loving it! The journey from Grapevine to the Fort Worth Stockyards was smooth and scenic, with lots of great photo opportunities and a chance to explore the Stockyards before heading back. Highlights: 🚂 Vintage train cars with old-school charm 🤠 Live “train robbery” skit—super fun and interactive 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family-friendly & great staff 📸 Tons of photo ops and memories Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area—this is a classic Texas experience you don’t want to miss!

Review: Grapevine Vintage Railroad to the Fort Worth Stockyards Our experience on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad was a memorable one, with both highs and a few small hiccups. We started off with about a 45-minute late departure, but the staff made up for it by offering free refreshments, which was a nice gesture. The train itself runs at a slow pace, and honestly, there isn’t too much scenery to see along the way. That said, my 3-year-old grandson—who is completely obsessed with trains—absolutely loved every second of it, which made the ride more than worth it. One of the highlights was the cast of characters, who stayed in role from the waiting area in Grapevine all the way through the ride. They interacted with guests and kept things fun and lighthearted, making the experience feel more immersive. Onboard, they even served beer and wine, which was a pleasant surprise. When we arrived at the Stockyards, the timing worked out perfectly—we got there just in time for the cattle roundup. Even though we left late, the railway gave us our full two hours at the Stockyards, which showed real thoughtfulness. The train ride back departed and arrived right on time. The only negative note came on the return trip, where a sewage odor from the restroom in our first-class car was noticeable. The crew did their best to manage it by spraying it down, which helped some, but it was still unpleasant. Thankfully, the cast continued entertaining us the whole way back, keeping the mood upbeat. A few tips for future riders: • Legroom is tight. If you’re tall, you’ll want to spread out or buy two rows and sit diagonally (cadi-cornered). Sitting 3–4 adults knee-to-knee in a row isn’t very comfortable. • Bring snacks and entertainment for little ones, but don’t overdo it—time goes by faster than you think. • You have the option of taking the train one way and Ubering back if that works better for your plans. Overall, for my group of four, it was a great experience. Despite some negative reviews I’ve seen online, I found it well worth the trip. It’s a fun outing for families, a group of friends, or even a date, and my grandson’s excitement made it especially memorable.

What a beautiful lake. It's super busy in weekends. Week days are not so bad. Their are lots of covered areas for shade. I saw several boat ramps in just the area I was in. The wildlife was abundant. The sunset was gorgeous. The water was warm.

Peaceful. They have tables, grills. Take your food, drinks and enjoy the day. Water looks clean. Fresh air and water sound makes it feel peaceful. Best sunset views.
Mahesh K — Google review
Nice area to have a picnic, but I couldn’t see anything else to do. I saw some people taking their own kayaks.
Amanda M — Google review
Such a beautiful place to watch the Sunrise and Sunset. Very special place it is a blessing
Beth T — Google review
Clean...beautiful scenery and weather. So cool to watch the planes fly in from different directions. Biggest bonus is the wildlife. Watching them interact is so funny but also very insightful.
Cassandra L — Google review
The lake is huge. Good place to visit during sunset and relaxing. Airplanes keep flying every few minutes and could be a good sight to see as well.
Pranav M — Google review
That's one HUGE and AMAZING lake!!! Pay a visit during the sunset, sit alone, listen to the sound of waves, gaze at the sunset and occasionally the sky that's always filled with flying planes... Observe your soul healing, and mental peace getting straight. And of course, a wonderful place to hang out with friends, to go boating or shore swim.
Puja I — Google review
This has been one of the best surprises I’ve had when in Dallas. I went there for a run but many parts were flooded so I was not able to run all the way along the lake. Even so, the views, the atmosphere and the place is beautiful. Lots of people enjoying summer, having picnics and just contemplating. LOVE!

Fantastic time! Very knowledgeable staff. Shout out to Greenlee for taking the time to talk about the animals in the tank. Interactive kiosks were cool with English and Spanish options. Great experience overall! Will visit again!

We here a couple weeks ago. My friend had his kids birthday party there. We had a private room to celebrate and have fun activities for kids and everyone. It was pretty nice just make sure you know the rules first we wasn’t aware we couldn’t separate to go to the aquarium until we were done with the birthday but it all worked out anyway. The people there were nice and helpful. When we went to the aquarium, it was pretty nice and bigger than expected. Just know there are other kids there so it can get crowded at times but in the end, it was still fun. In case you looking for it it’s next to the Lego place.
Richard S — Google review
I had a wonderful time here! We celebrated my granddaughter’s 1st birthday party here. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We loved the atmosphere and aquatic attraction they have here. You don’t expect it to be as big as it is by the way it looks from the photos. We were shocked by how big it was and talk about beautiful, you can tell that they take care of there fishes and other species. I give it a 10 out of 10.
Lashae — Google review
Was okay. Was super crowded, so we couldn't get to see well or enjoy the exhibitions. But they have the tunel, with sharks and etc...that was a +A and the sea turtles..."I love love, love them ". Kids had fun,so my goal was completed. We found a dead cockroach!! -100 on that Gift shop was okay as well and the staff was nice. Nothing bad for a aquarium inside the mall.
Idalys S — Google review
It was amazing. The only thing that I would say is I think it's a little overpriced but it blows away the one in Dallas. My daughter went to the one in Dallas when she saw these pictures she said wow where's this one! I really liked when you're walking What looks like through the water that was really awesome and my grandson loved it. I just think it should be a little bit cheaper but it's beautiful
SisterInChrist50 — Google review
First time to visit and would definitely do it again. The kids had so much fun. Since I do have a special needs daughter, I look out for our community. Sea Life Grapevine is wheelchair friendly. Everything is open inside for all to see. The peak through tunnels are the only issue inside, as the child has to be removed from their chair if possible to look through, but you can the fish without doing the peek bubble. Handicap bathroom is large, but only has a changing table for babies. I added the $7 tour behind the scenes. Our tour guide was amazing and what we saw was worth the price; however I wouldn't buy it again it. Tickets were less on their website compared to Groupon. We had 3 adults, 3 kids, 1yr old who was free. I ONLY paid $179 and this included behind the scenes. It was a fun-filled day with my kids.
Patricia N — Google review
I was impressed by how big this aquarium actually is. I was not expecting to see such a large aquarium in a mall. It was really cool to walk around. A fun family time, especially on the hot days! Highly recommend.
Ogechi S — Google review
Nice aquarium with a variety of sea life in their tanks. Lots of photo ops. There is a small touch pool exhibit and a cool walk-through tank. It is tight getting around. There are staff stationed around for asking questions. It didn’t take long to go through it, appropriately two hours.

Nice mall, great variety of stores and restaurants. Great prices and finds. Extra security but better safe than sorry. Great places for hanging out and fun.
Alysia P — Google review
I haven't been here in years. It has changed so much! It's so easy to spend 2+ hours in here. There's a little bit of everything for everyone and highly recommend coming here on a free day! ☺️
Octo K — Google review
Great mall, excellent food court and a lot of stores. It has a lot of outlet stores too. They also have a place that can duplicate keys and program key fobs for cars. This mall is just like the Katy Mills Mall in Houston.
Alex C — Google review
Grapevine Mills Mall is my second favorite Mall in the DFW area. I have been there numerous times. But my favorite is still The Stonebriar Mall, I just don't live close enough to the Stonebriar, to make it there more often. Anyway I like the numerous Cologne and Perfume stores that they have there and have purchased a few different colognes in the past few months. Recently I visited the Aquarium with my sister and that was fun. So it has a lot to see, a decent food court of course lots of parking space etc. It's visited by both locals and a lot of people that you can tell have just arrived from the nearby DFW airport. So it's definitely one of the hot spots for the DFW area.
Dennis G — Google review
Better than the Galleria in Dallas. This is my opinion. Down to earth stores. Brands I like and buy.
James C — Google review
Grapevine Mills Mall has become one of my favorite places in Grapevine, not just for shopping but also for walking. My family and I often come here simply to enjoy a long stroll indoors, and it’s amazing how much ground you can cover without even realizing it. The wide, bright walkways make it a very comfortable spot to stretch your legs, especially when the Texas heat makes outdoor walks a challenge. What continues to surprise me is the variety of stores. Every time I visit, I notice another unique shop that I hadn’t seen before. From big-name outlets and fashion retailers to specialty shops, toy stores, and even some fun entertainment spots, there’s truly something for everyone. The mix of high-end brands with affordable options keeps the experience fresh, whether you’re looking for a deal or just window shopping. The food court is another plus—lots of choices, and it’s always lively without being overwhelming. I’ve also found that the mall is well maintained and feels safe and welcoming, even during busy hours. The staff and security do a great job of keeping everything running smoothly. For locals, Grapevine Mills isn’t just a shopping mall—it’s a destination. Whether you’re walking for exercise, grabbing a bite, or browsing through an incredible range of stores, it’s an experience that keeps you coming back. Five stars from me, without hesitation.
Joseph C — Google review
Favorite mall to explore with my kids. We love all the food court options and that there are so many stores for each of our interests. Hot topic, box lunch, earthbound, round 1 and the custom t-shirt kiosk are some of our favorites. Its cool there is five below and Boba tea options also. When we're feeling fancy we spend forever in bath and body works and I take a walk through Victoria secret. Legoland, the movies, sea quest, meow wolf and rainforest cafe are all super fun! Overall like I said it's our favorite mall.

Sights & Landmarks
Nash Farm, situated in Grapevine, Texas, is a 5.2-acre heritage farm museum that provides an immersive experience of late 19th-century farm life. Operated by the Grapevine Heritage and owned by the city, this living history attraction showcases original structures such as the 1869 farmhouse and a historic barn to preserve the area's agricultural traditions. Visitors can explore exhibits, interactive displays, and interpretive programs to learn about Grapevine's rich heritage.
Our visit to Nash Farm in Grapevine this morning was fantastic! Our 2-year-old had the best time running around, playing with the sheep, chickens, and even spotting some turkeys. He loved climbing on the tractors, getting his hands dirty, and exploring the freshly planted garden. The farm had a hands-on craft using sheep wool, but it was geared more towards older kids. It’s amazing to see a piece of history from the 1800s so well preserved. The open space, friendly animals, and historic charm make this a perfect spot for families. We’ll definitely be visiting again!

Great place for kids. We plan on going back next Saturday. An amazing little 5 acre farm in the middle of the city.

Very neat little farm! Our family got to feed the chickens. We also saw turkeys and sheep. It was a wonderful experience for everyone. Would love to come again! Oh, and the owner? Is very nice:)

Free Farm with lots of small experiences set up depending on the day. There is small house with some vintage stuff as well. Kids have a good time running around. Animals are limited to chickens, roosters and sheep. Can buy chicken feed from the farm store - my 2 year old loved feeding the chickens. Good for a quick visit.
Urmi N — Google review
We throughly enjoyed taking a step back in time! The farmhouse is nicely set up, showing life "back in the day". The ladies working there are so sweet and ready to answer questions. We enjoyed feeding the sheep, and looking at the turkeys and chickens. The gift shop is adorable and offers some good quity, old style games, as well as ither gifts. We even got some fresh eggs! It's well worth visiting. They have activities throughout the year, so we'll definitely be back!

My family came here for my son’s birthday! It was worth it. Loved the environment, the gentleman was amazing explaining all the fossils and answering any questions the kids had! Definitely would love to come back
Victoria H — Google review
As someone who lived in Virginia, I often found joy in visiting local farms—charming spaces that allowed families to slow down and reconnect with nature, history, and one another. Since relocating to the Fort Worth/DFW area, I’ve missed those experiences deeply. So when I stumbled across Nash Farm online, I was absolutely thrilled to plan a Father’s Day outing for my family. The website painted a picturesque scene of 19th-century reenactments, a historical farmhouse, and friendly farm animals—everything we were hoping for to celebrate the day in a meaningful, nostalgic way. Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to expectations. Although the website indicated the farm was open and operational, we were greeted by an entirely different reality. The historic home, a main attraction, was closed due to renovations—something that was not disclosed online. There were no actors bringing history to life, and only a sparse number of animals could be seen. My children were heartbroken, and as parents, it was disheartening to watch their excitement quickly fade into disappointment. To make matters more confusing, one of the staff members initially told us we could tour the home, only to return shortly after and say her manager had said otherwise. This back-and-forth added to the overall frustration and left us feeling misled. The one redeeming element was the quaint farm store, which was open and offered a nice selection of goods and old-fashioned charm. Because of that small silver lining, I’ve opted not to give a one-star review—but I must emphasize, this experience was a letdown. If you’re considering visiting Nash Farm, I highly recommend calling ahead to confirm what’s actually available to the public that day. The website, as it stands, is not a reliable source of up-to-date information. What could have been a heartwarming, educational day turned into a disappointing detour. Hopefully, once renovations are complete and the farm is back in full swing, it will live up to its true potential.

LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Dallas/Fort Worth

Amusement center
If you're looking for a fun-filled day with the family, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Dallas/Fort Worth is an ideal destination. This indoor entertainment hub is brimming with 12 exciting attractions that revolve around the beloved LEGO theme. Kids can immerse themselves in thrilling rides like the Kingdom Quest laser adventure and Merlin's Apprentice, or take part in interactive experiences such as driving at LEGO City: Forest Pursuit Driving School.
My kids (and even I) had such a blast at LEGOland! There was plenty to do to keep my kids entertained and happy. The staff was very patient and kind. We did encounter a few issues but they were easily resolved. The first small one was that I had paid to use a souvenir penny machine (I didn't read the payment instructions before paying with my card and didn't realize until after that I was charged for all 4 pennies and not just one, absolutely my fault) but did not receive any of the pennies. I quickly let an employee know and they were happy to help, providing me with the correct number to call for a refund. The second issue was that after waiting in line for one of the rides for 30 minutes and finally making it to the front, the ride was shut down due to a petal falling off and needing repair. We were disappointed but moved on to the other available ride. After that ride and playing for a bit, we heard that the first ride was soon opening back up and we quickly got in line to be some of the first there. After a couple of minutes of them testing the ride, it was opened back up and we were able to go on. At that point the crowd had cleared out a lot and we were even able to get back in the short line and ride again. Overall, it was such a fun experience and I definitely recommend going!
Marcelline M — Google review
We had so much fun! This place is very hands on and interactive. We went on a Monday and the crowds weren't bad at all. Minimal waiting in lines for rides. The staff were great! Alexa (staff with braids) was so interactive with all of the kids and helped them have so much fun! The 4D movie was cold so not ideal if your child gets cold easily, but you could bring in a blanket. The splash pad is fun, don't forget a towel! The food was good, but pricey. You could always eat at the Mall food court and come back. Overall, a wonderful experience and we will go back for sure!
Tammy N — Google review
Took my 4-year-old on a Friday and was pleasantly surprised, no wait times for rides or activities at all. I purchased tickets online the day before for $22 each, which felt like a great value. It’s a fun spot for families with younger kids, with plenty of activities to keep them entertained for hours. There’s even a splash pad included in the price, though it was closed for the season during our visit. The staff was friendly, energetic, and really made sure our kiddo had a great time. Inside, there are lots of stations for different LEGO builds, a 3D movie, a couple of rides, and even a VR experience (for an extra fee). The LEGO displays of DFW are especially impressive and worth checking out. Overall, it’s a great indoor activity for a laid-back day. My only complaint is that it feels a bit small, I just wish there was more to explore!
R M — Google review
1. Get the getoutpass 2.Kids had a great time. We did almost miss out on all the incredible art by their master Lego maker in the back, so definitely make sure that you've explored every nook for all the different things Would we pay full price for this experience? No idea. But it definitely made for a solid morning and a very memorable time!
Rabbi J — Google review
Legoland was pretty cool overall, and I think the price of the tickets was reasonable. The atmosphere is fun and very family-friendly. However, the rides weren’t very exciting, especially for older kids or adults. Most of them felt slow and more geared toward younger children. It’s a great place for families with small kids, who will definitely have more fun, but if you’re looking for thrilling rides, this might not be the place for you.
Shelly H — Google review
Lego land surprisingly has a lot to do for the kids. We spent about 3-4 hrs there on a discount ticket for a weekday ($19). I think you can get $17 tickets at Costco. They had little missions to do around the place. There was a spinning wizard ride, build a car, indoor playground, 4D movie that was pretty cool. They have a little ride where you have to shoot at stuff but it was a little run down and some stuff doesn’t work well. They have race cars, but only two can go at a time. Splash park is half open, other side looks like construction. Overall, kids found it fun and it was a good way to spend time.
Anissa S — Google review
Legoland is really a fun place for kids age 2-12!! I've read other reviews and what I gather is this -plus I've been here at least 3x! The best time to go to avoid crowds and really enjoy is when they first open! And arrive early that way you can spend all day there if you choose and ride the rides first! Plus you can ride the 2 rides as many times as possible if you want! Kids can literally be here hours on end! We got the package deal with Aquarium and Peppa pig and we were there from 1030am until 3pm with 3 toddlers!! This can be a full day thing if you want it to be!!
Farmers M — Google review
25$ per ticket whether child or adult. So just to get in was over $100 for a 2 year old, 5 year old, and parents. FOR THAT COST I would expect no additional costs for entertainment. Not much to do either, definitely feeling like this was a waste of $$$. I guess if you have a kid that is obsessed with building legos and that’s all then yea, bring them here and they can build legos all day. My local library has Lego build day for free, I’ll stick to that. Just not cool enough for the price. I say it is more fitting to charge $10 a person here.

A beautiful gallery and an actual demonstration of glassblowing right in the heart of Grapevine Historic downtown. Convenient to lots of dining and ample free parking! Fun for a family outing or interested artisans. We loved the beautiful art for sale!

I highly recommend it! Thanks to Jarma and the team. I'm an overthinker and was so nervous to make glass, but they reassured me that I could do it. This was a fun family adventure, and I recommend it. I can't wait to sign up for their classes! (ps: think you cannot do it, give it a try!!)

Vetro Glassblowing Studio does beautiful work. The pieces have beautiful color, shape, and artistry. The outstanding staff is super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. We got a great deal on some beautiful pieces that are going to be a wonderful addition to our home.

What a find!!! I watched the artisans at work. What a treat! I really enjoyed shopping there as well. The manager was delightful and taught me so much about glass. I bought a beautiful high ball glass for my bourbon. The manager wrapped my glass with loving care. It made it back to Virginia beautifully. I wish I wasn't flying back to Virginia because I would have bought SO much more, the prices were amazing. I will be back!

Really cool place! I paid for the pumpkin-making class and thought I’d get to do a little bit more, but it makes sense that I was only able to do the bare minimum given how dangerous and difficult the actual process is. I’d love to make another one next year, too! 😊

So we here to do a help create dreamless wine glass for me, my sister, and my mom. It was a Mother’s Day gift. I will say, that three tickets for the event was pricey. But no different than a nice dinner out. The main shop is small, but clean, and had so many fun little glass blown items to look at with local blown art. The ladies that checked us in were very prompt, and polite. The main studio is hot. There are some bleachers set up where you can wait your turn. Your turn is based upon the time you checked in. So 10 people might sign up for the 10 am slot. But the person who signed in at 9.45 am will go first and so forth. The people who do the help create events are super knowledgeable, polite, and respectful. You can tell they do this ALOT. The whom actual process took maybe less then 10 min? You got to pick your color, and help create the item, with fun facts about the process. You pick up your item in about 2 business days. They have the items wrapped soundly and snuggly in nice wrapping. The stemless wine glass we made is SOLID. It is heavy and thick. It won’t shatter in the sink type of situation. I would absolutely do this again. Maybe closer to Christmas when they do ornamentals

The Palace Arts Center is a renovated cinema from the 1940s, offering ample space to enjoy classic films on a regular basis. Additionally, it also hosts live music events such as tribute concerts. Recently, a 'Carpenter's' concert was held where talented performers impersonated Karen and Richard Carpenter with great success. The audience appreciated the entertainment and enjoyed the timeless music of this iconic duo.
A relaxing afternoon of beautiful memories with the hits of Karen and Richard Carpenter. This tribute act from Las Vegas featured the musical talents of dopplegangers...both in appearance and talents. The theater was an appropriate size where everyone had a good view of the stage. The Palace Theater was decorated beautifully for the holidays!

Great experience! We just saw Empire Strikes Back at the Palace Arts Center. Purchasing tickets was quick and easy. The staff was extremely friendly. Affordable concessions and comfy seats made for a great night watching a classic. We'll definitely be going back.

Very nice theater. We sat in the balcony and had a tremendous view. As an old sound guy, the music and vocal mix was off and feedback was present at times. Comfortable seating and nice facilities for an old building. Pricing for the event was good.

Great theatre to host an event. Sound and seating were just right. Also conveniently located in the heart of downtown grapevine on Main Street.

Attended the 3pm Dallas Boston Experience show on 6/28. 1st time at the theater. I loved it. Good sight lines and sound. The place is very clean and smells nice. Reasonably priced concessions. Tickets were a little higher than I am used to paying for a tribute band but the nice venue makes up for it. It really reminded me of being at some of the shows in Branson. Plenty of restrooms (some time old theaters are limited in that way) and they are clean. Now that I have finally been there I will be back. I didn't notice if there was a bar or if they sold alcohol in the concessions. The warning on the website about 1st 3 rows might be too close to the stage is accurate. I had a first row seat but moved back to the 4th row. Staff was friendly and helpful.

As a family we enjoy visiting Grapevine because it’s such a cute vintage town. But one of the reasons we keep visiting are the events in the Palace Arts Center, such as the tributes to the different artists from the past decades. The most recent tribute we bought tickets for was the Elvis Presley love Songs concert and dinner, and it was so much fun! We love how family oriented and classic this events can be!!!

I have gone to three events there. It is a nice small vintage theater that has good acoustic sound. The staff are fantastic.

My wife and I have been coming here for years. We always enjoy the old movies and live music. I recommend not to set to close to the stage. In the middle would be the best. We are setting up front and the view isn't the best.

The Botanical Garden located at Heritage Park is a serene and peaceful spot with various seating areas, walking paths and a pond filled with fish for viewing. It's an ideal location for picnics amidst the backdrop of beautiful flowers or to capture stunning pictures. The park provides ample parking space and even has a public restroom available. This small botanical garden situated close to Grapevine's heart boasts children's play spaces outside the gates, making it perfect for intimate events.
Incredible garden for the community to enjoy. Everything is so well maintained and admission is free. I swear there’s different blooms every week during the spring and it’s so much fun to come back often and see how it’s changed! I love grapevine for providing so many beautiful parks for the community. 🥰

This venue was fabulous!!! In addition to a beautiful setting, we were blessed to have the assistance of Ron who was in charge of making sure we had everything we needed. He was the first to rush to help setting up and taking down. He stayed in the back to make sure we had it all handled for the entire time. He was the best!

The Grapevine Botanical Gardens is such a hidden gem! Beautiful and peaceful with so many unique flowers and trees I’d never seen before. I loved sitting on a quiet bench and just soaking in nature—it was exactly what I needed. The sidewalks are well-kept, there’s plenty of animal life to enjoy, and the public bathrooms are a big plus. Definitely worth a visit! 🌸🌿

My wife and I were visiting Grapevine and had some time to kill before a lunch meeting with friends. We happened upon the botanical garden and decided to walk there instead of killing time in the mall. The garden is not large but is very well kept with nice walking paths. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely return when visiting the area again. There is a nice playground adjacent to the gardens for small children.

It's really hard to rate this place because I've been to Chandor Gardens. Which is, far superior. However, I will say, that I always appreciate a city that values green space within city limits. This is a great spot if you just want to sit and relax and take in nature. Nothing bad about it, it is just quite minimal. Which I'm sure some people will actually prefer. It is a plus that it's free. It's worth a visit if you want to relax around nature. And it's well maintained. Hope this helps.

Quiant little garden with a nice mix of plants ranging from Texas woodland to Koa pond. It's free and they have bathrooms. A slow stroll to see everything will be about 30 minutes. Nice place for a pinic.

This place is very relaxing beautiful environment with many different types of plants. My favorite is the Japanese maple tree and I found out they have dwarf fern. A small stream with water flowing while walking and listening to the chirping of some birds. This place can't be beat it is a unique place to spend a day. I recommend this place to my friends and family.

Great Wolf Lodge | Grapevine

Resort hotel
Water & Amusement Parks
Nestled in Grapevine, Texas, the Great Wolf Lodge Water Park is a vibrant family-friendly resort that promises an unforgettable getaway. Just a short drive from Downtown Dallas, this destination boasts an impressive indoor water park filled with thrilling slides, multiple pools, and engaging water games that will keep kids entertained for hours. Beyond the splashes and slides, families can enjoy character meet-and-greets, storytime sessions, and cozy PJ parties designed to create lasting memories.
Me and my family visit water parks multiple times a year. Each time we reserve cabana’s. Schlitterbahn, six flags, and kalahari to name a few in the state. Layne was hands down the best server I have ever had. We had a cabana for 2 days and this man treated us like family and was like clockwork anywhere in the park. Even when we weren’t in our private cabana he was refilling our drinks when they got low anywhere in the park. He was very charismatic and genuinely a great individual. Great wolf lodge we were the Langley family in cabana #3 and #4 on 25th and 26th of October 2025. Show this employee a great deal of appreciation he is exceptional. He is the reason we will be coming back and continuing to spend our money on cabana’s As for rooms: I’ve had better but that’s not why we came. They were clean but basic. The dance party for my 2 year old was great and she loved all the activities for her and all the children everyday including children’s morning yoga. If you’re old this isn’t a destination meant for you. It’s geared towards children and that’s what makes this place special. On top of employee’s like Layne who make the experience memorable.

Great Wolf Lodge Review Our recent stay at Great Wolf Lodge was a fun-filled family adventure with a few areas for improvement. Water Park & Safety: The lifeguards were absolutely amazing — incredibly attentive and quick to act. We even saw them step in multiple times to help kids who needed assistance, which made us feel very safe. The water park itself is great, but next time I’ll definitely bring water shoes — the floors can feel a little icky at times. Staff & Service: We had a couple of moments where kids got separated from their families, but the staff handled it swiftly and professionally. Overall, the employees are friendly, though they could use more help during peak times. Lines at the attractions can get long, and service at the restaurants is noticeably slow. Food prices are a bit steep if it’s not part of your package. Breakfast was definitely better than dinner, so I’d recommend going with a breakfast-inclusive deal if possible. Facilities & Amenities: The elevators are pretty slow, so if you’re able, it’s faster to take the stairs. The MagiQuest game is a big hit with kids, but parents should pack patience — and comfy shoes! There’s also a full Starbucks on site, which is a lifesaver for early mornings. Tips for Your Stay: Bring hand sanitizer (there aren’t enough stations around the resort) and water shoes for the park. Overall: Despite some slow service and long waits, Great Wolf Lodge offers a safe, family-friendly environment packed with activities. The staff’s attentiveness and the fun atmosphere make it worth the visit — just go prepared and plan ahead for the crowds.

We had a great experience. I read a lot of horrible reviews before I left and was prepared for a disappointing experience but it was the opposite. Cleanliness: the rooms, resort, main areas, and water park were all clean. I saw mutlple workers cleaning throughout the day. No concerns in this area, rarely saw trash or debris anywhere. Food: yes overpriced, convenient not to leave the resort though. We did breakfast buffet, pizza and salad for lunch and dinner buffet. We also brought snacks and sanswhich stuff. Disappointed in the meal plan only because I thought I waa saving money but turns out the breakfast buffet for the kids was only 12.99 so plus the 30 a day dining credit, I saved 0 dollars (42.99 a person a day). Mediocre food but was not expecting a fine dining experience. Skip the dinner buffet and just get a couple pizzas. Food credits work as a balance on your account, they only expire when you leave but not at midnight like other posts I read. Waterpark: go early in the am and the last 2 hours of ope ingredients 6-8 if you want to ride the slides, all other times were 30 plus minute wait. The tornado and green tube slide were our favorite. There was enough seating even on Saturday. The outside pool waa open too which was great to get some air. Activities: kids loved magiquest, halloween events and Luna story. We got the wolf pass and 2nights/3 days struggled to complete all the activities. We did it though! This place is a whole experience, its expensive. They try to upgrade you on everything (the wand, candy, etc). I knew this going in so it waa no big deal, this was one and done for us bucket list item. Probably won't be back unless we can get rooms super cheap. 2 nights, 2 wolf passes, late check out, upgraded patio, wolf den, and dining plan for 3, parking etc our bill was 1400. Pricey but worth it for a quick get away. Try it out but level set expectations. Other things to note, they dont check bags going into water park, people brought coolers etc, they have towels no need to bring them. A back pack is a must, goggles, snacks, water cups, enjoy your time!

Very upset with GWL. We booked a room a month in advance for my daughters 10th birthday. We also added an extra package (birthday package) where the room was supposed to be decorated just for them and make kids feel special. When checking in we reminded the desk clerk about the package and she said yes and to give them some extra time to make sure it was ready. So we went and had a late lunch. We came back and went to our room and absolutely nothing . So we put our swimsuits on and went to the water park for a few hours and came back and still nothing. Greatly disappointed. So its Halloween time and the app says trick or treating is about to start, so we get my daughter in her costume and go out to go trick or treating and they cancelled it. Also the outside waterpark was closed without any notice. Everything GWL was supposed to do was not done. With the price we paid and flying from California to Dallas for our vacation and then not doing what was paid for was a huge let down We have been to 2 other GWL and never had a problem. This place is much smaller and management needs better training. The food in the corn dog place was burnt and old and I forgot to mention that we planned to have dinner at the buffet however that was closed too for some reason I don't think we will be returning . We paid good money and did not receive what we paid for.

We had a blast. We visited the resort to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We had so much fun, every single employee and staff were amazing all of them deserve a huge shootout, they were always willing to help and support with a smile. We did not have anything bad to say about our stay the kids were very happy, we did every single attraction and we enjoyed them so much we always had something to do and discover. Definitely this is a great place for families. Howls

Our group of five women meets yearly to attend a conference, and this year we chose the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, reserving a suite months in advance so we could all stay together for collaboration and convenience. We booked directly and even confirmed the week of our arrival. Unfortunately, when we checked in, we were given a basic standard room with one bathroom for five adults. After much back and forth, we were finally provided two rooms, but it was not the suite we had carefully planned for. We were also looking forward to relaxing by the pool, only to find it closed “for the season”—despite the fact that temperatures were in the upper 80s during our stay. Our wing of the hotel was under renovation and it showed: messy hallways, water leaks, and multiple maintenance issues. One of our rooms had no hot water, a leaking faucet, and non-functioning AC, and non working appliances. The other room developed a water leak into the wall and hallway, which led to workers needing to enter our space during our stay. The hallways also had large wet areas, suggesting this was not an isolated issue. The food was mediocre at best and very overpriced. By the weekend, the property turned into a madhouse. Elevators broke down, leaving only one set available, which was overcrowded with guests and staff. More than once, we were bumped for service carts. Stairs then were closed for an accident which left us waiting for 35+ minutes for elevators. The restrooms near the waterpark were also in unacceptable condition—wet floors, toilet paper everywhere, and overflowing toilets. To be fair, there were a few bright spots. The front desk staff truly did the best they could under difficult circumstances. Our waitress at Fireside was lovely, and Joshua—the 22-year-old maintenance worker—was outstanding. He came to our rescue multiple times and was the most helpful part of our stay. Unfortunately, the negatives far outweighed the positives. This was my second visit to a Great Wolf Lodge (the first was in Denver), and both times I encountered significant issues. The concept is wonderful, but the execution and upkeep are sorely lacking. For the price and expectations, I cannot recommend this property.

The room was very nice and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pretty pricey but we had a great time! The waterpark was so much fun. I recommend getting the passes for the kids, it’s worth the money for all they get to do around the resort.

Overall, a good experience. We had some not so awesome things and some awesome things. We had to switch rooms twice, had issues with the smell, once we had our second room our room phone didn’t work nor our refrigerator but they were doing what seemed to be a whole floor construction renovation, so maybe that is why it didn’t work. The Waterpark seems rundown, in need of some renovation and overall The cleanliness of the waterpark was not there. I will say the water was clear, but the walkways were filled with Band-Aids, spilled ice cream, smooshed, cupcakes, wet napkins, etc. the only time I really saw someone clean was about 7 PM when the waterpark closed at 8 PM. Now, I will say that there is some amazing things about this place. There were several employees that went out of there way to make her experience magical. My boys absolutely loved Magiquest , had fun at the bowling alley, had fun at the arcade, And enjoy some other amenities. The wolf pass/pup pass seem to be a wonderful add-on. The kids felt like they had tons of options with this pass and us as parents didn’t feel like we had to keep spending more and more money, as it was already included in the pass. The Luna bedtime story was extremely well done And all of my kids were enamored by the story. We had a ton of fun at the dance party, enjoyed interactive games at the grounds, and Had fun at the virtual trail. However, it is the employees that would make you want to come back. One employee stuck out from the rest and that was Evan. He went out of his way to make sure that we had the best guest experience. We appreciate all you did for our family! Thank you, Evan for making a howling good time.

Traditional American restaurant
Tolbert's Restaurant & Chili Parlor is a renowned culinary landmark known for its classic Southwestern cuisine and, of course, its signature dish - the Bowl of Red. Established in 1976 by chili enthusiast Frank X. Tolbert, the restaurant has been serving up authentic flavors that have delighted generations. Relocated to Grapevine's historic Main Street in 2006, Tolbert's continues to honor its heritage under the stewardship of Kathleen Tolbert and her husband Paul Ryan.
Walking in my family and I were already enamored with this spot. We had an incredible time at Tolbert’s Restaurant & Chili Parlor! The chili was absolutely fantastic—rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The ambiance and vibe were warm, lively, and family-friendly. Our kids had a great time, and my husband and I were truly impressed. Nancy, our waitress was friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. It was a top-notch dining experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Me and a friend found ourselves with a night in Dallas to kill after our connecting flight got delayed. After a long day of travel, we were looking for an authentic and classic Texas restaurant to dine at. Tolbert’s came highly recommended, so we decided to give it a shot. Negatives out of the way first. The food left something to be desired. We started with the bean and cheese nachos, which were great. For our main course, no, I didn’t try the world famous chili they’re known for, but I did get the sour cream chicken enchiladas and my friend got the standard burger on the menu. He said his burger checked all the boxes. While my enchiladas were great, the side of beans and rice were disappointing. The “beans” were more of a black paste, and the rice seemed to be from a box and not the classic red rice you’d expect with this kind of dish. That being said, this establishment more than makes up for it in atmosphere. Situated on the historic grapevine of the DFW area, this restaurant is well decorated and extremely inviting. We sat down at a cozy table with live music playing, which brought some magic to the experience. While the dish I got could use improvement, it tasted home cooked and didn’t break the bank. There were so many good options on the menu, and pair that with the great atmosphere, it makes me want to come back here again. Come for some easy food, and stay for a great time.

Texas bucket list spot! Big bar with lots of drink options. High ceilings give this place a unique feel. Chili was good and it is filling! The Super Bowl of chili is definitely a meal for a regular person. Had enough heat to let you know it’s a true texas chili without making you uncomfortable. Tots were good but couldn’t finish as I was too full from the chili.

Last stop on my Texas trip and had to get some authentic Texas chili. The food was very good. Our server Noah was very nice and attentive. We were definitely unaware that they had live music at dinner time. I'm sure that it was posted but I missed it. The music was fine, it was just very loud and made it hard to hear each other.

Tolberts is known for their chili. It’s one of my favorite items off their great selection of southern cuisine. Bar offers a selection of local beers and cocktails. Fun atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. Staff is terrific. This night we had cheese quesadillas and a key lime martini. Located off Main Street in Grapevine Texas. Nightly live music makes for a fun night out. Also a good place for lunch and shopping in historic downtown Grapevine. You will know you’re in Texas when you step into Tolberts!

For 40 years I’ve been living a lie. I thought I knew something about chili, I’ve been complimented on, and proud of my chili. Heck I’ve won chili cookoffs!!! I WAS NOT PREPARED! So I went to Tolberts in Grapevine TX, the original chili competition official, who literally wrote the book on Texas Red! I sat down ordered a bowl and after the first bite I knew I had never made a bowl of chili in my whole life! If you are ever in Dallas or FT worth drive over to Grapevine, and get real chili. In a word, if I can only choose one….. spectacular! To the owner Kathleen, you’re doing something special!

We made the hour-long drive to this little cafe last weekend and let me just say—it was so worth it. Everything we ordered was super fresh, crazy flavorful, and made with real love. Every bite was like a little party in my mouth. You can taste when food is made with intention and this place nailed it across the board. No basic flavors here! Most of the staff was really sweet and welcoming, which made the whole vibe feel warm and homey. The lady up front might’ve missed her morning coffee. A little uptight, kinda gave off the “don’t talk to me” energy but hey, we all have our days, right? We’ll definitely be back even if it means driving another hour. Good food is good food, and this spot’s got it down. Just hoping next time the front greeter cracks a smile.

We came to Grapevine for the long weekend and ended up eating here twice because we just found out our favorite breakfast place in Texas!!!! Food and service is top notch!!! They’re busy but the wait was not too bad on both days. Food comes fast and the servers are lovely! Most importantly, their food is so so good! This is not just an ordinary breakfast place with the same old boring things that you can cook at home…. Their dishes are fabulous and so rich in flavor!!! Highly recommended!!! And we highly recommend their French toasts!!! The best I’ve had in a long time!!!

The ambiance is cozy yet adventurous. There is a bit of wait time, and once you get the table, it was packed and it was really noisy because it was super busy. The coffee is strong (just how a cowboy would want it), and the food hits the spot — hearty, flavorful, and served with a smile. Great service, themed atmosphere, and a unique escape from modern-day hustle. Whether you’re a history buff, a western movie fan, or just someone looking for a cool vibe, this Old West cafe is worth the ride. Would I return? In a heartbeat — and I might just wear my boots next time.

Friendly staff and they were able to seat a decent number of people quickly. The food overall tastes good and is reasonably prices but they are skimpy on the meats. Really 2 meats equal a total of two stripes of bacon???? The biscuits amd sausage gravy where only average ans barely had anu sausage in it. Parking lot is a bit weirdly designed.

My first time here! It won’t be my last. Service was great. Friendly. Quick. Food was delicious. They only serve breakfast and lunch and the breakfast menu is huge! Way toooo much food to eat (had to take some chicken tenders home) but soooo good and prices were very reasonable. There is a parking lot in the back, which I didn’t see until inside.

Esparza's Restaurante Mexicano is a lively Tex-Mex eatery and bar located in a historic 19th-century house. It's renowned for its delectable homemade-style Tex-Mex dishes and fantastic margaritas, earning it the title of the Margarita Capital of Texas. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating, making it an ideal spot to savor Tex-Mex cuisine while enjoying the vibrant Texas nightlife.
Fantastic!!! One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in my 2 years in the USA!! Beautiful ambience, fast service, lovely staff and most importantly, delicious and great food!!!!! Definitely worth a visit! Would recommend and come back for more!! We had brisket enchilada and beef chimichanga.

The food was delicious and the portions reflected the price paid - I was especially delighted by the enormous basket of complimentary chips for the chips & salsa! While the dinner prices were a little more expensive than your average tex-mex meal in the area, there was plenty of food for leftovers. I particularly enjoyed the variety of meal options that combined different popular items, allowing for unique combos. While the food was excellent and the eclectic decor incredibly beautiful, our service was a little on the slow side. This is definitely not a place to be in a rush. My only other complaint was that the stunning, painted high ceilings made the dining room incredibly loud, and difficult to hold a conversation. This was especially true considering the numerous families with loud young children - this is definitely a family-friendly establishment, so if you’re going for a romantic date night, perhaps look elsewhere. However, I would absolutely recommend Esparza’s as a delicious option to celebrate a special event with the whole family!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had a wonderful lunch at Esparza’s! We sat on the patio, and it was perfect—nice weather, comfortable seating, and not too noisy at all. Our server was extremely attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was excellent, full of flavor and served fresh. Prices were a little on the higher side, but that’s to be expected in Grapevine and the quality made it worth it. Portions were lunch-sized, which was just right. Overall, a great experience and definitely a spot I’d come back to!

Post workshop meal with the partners! This place has been recommended to me many times but just hadn’t had the chance to go but finally made it and it was worth the wait! Bar side was cool, fast service and the drinks almost made me want to drink a margarita! The food was, as expected, deeeeeeeelicious! The appetizer platter had a little bit of everything…the tortillas were made fresh in house and my tacos al carbon had some of the best seasoned, tender chunks of steak…The best bite though was the WARM salsa…never had it before but I’m eating it that way from time to time! If you find yourself in the area, check them out and tell Antonio I’m still waiting on my back rub! He took care of our party of 22 by himself (and some runners)

Popped in for a late lunch or early dinner! The salsa is warm, but if you prefer it cold, just ask for some on the side to mix in. We split the fajitas for one, and it was more than enough for both of us. Can't wait to come back!

Good (not great) Mexican! Solid service, ordering to delivery was fast, and it was a good atmosphere. We went on a Thursday night right after a downtown festival ended - our party of 5 was still seated immediately and it wasn't too crowded. The fajitas were overcooked and not very tender. We would've liked more flavor/spice in most of the dishes. The salsa was good and not watery, and the queso was well done. The tortillas were freshly made. The mango marg was delish! We will definitely be back when we're wanting a solid Mexican option close-by.

Came here on a busy Friday night. I sat inside, place is massive both outside and inside. It was rather loud, lots of people talking, Lorena my waittress went above and beyond to make sure I was topped off with Lemonade and water throughout my meal. I ordered the Enchiladas Especiale without mushrooms, double refried beans, and two salsas that were mixed in. Delicious. Lorena has a great personality and was very friendly, I tipped well, and had a pleasant evening out solo. Thank you, Lorena. I would recommend coming here to eat, great location, quite nice outside in the evening but I'm not a huge fan of the climate here. If you are, you'll enjoy it. Great last night out in the DFW area.

French restaurant
Nestled in the charming heart of historic Downtown Grapevine, Texas, Chez Fabien invites you to experience the essence of French bistro culture. This relaxed venue exudes an intimate European ambiance, making it a perfect spot for enjoying delightful meals with friends and family. The menu is a tribute to France's diverse culinary landscape, featuring dishes like Filet Mignon and Seared Sea Bass that showcase Executive Chef Fabien's commitment to simplicity and flavor.
Chez Fabien is a delightful spot in Grapevine, perfect for a cozy breakfast or brunch. The dark roast coffee was bold and strong, and the Earl Grey tea was beautifully served in a teapot, adding to the charm. Paul ordered the omelet, which was absolutely delicious. We loved that they mix all the ingredients into the eggs rather than just stuffing them in like a crepe—exactly how an omelet should be! I had the avocado toast, which was both filling and flavorful. The butter croissant was incredibly flaky and rich, the perfect pastry to round out our meal. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we will definitely be back! Jesse our server was attentive and great. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great breakfast or brunch spot in Grapevine.

I've been here a couple of times for brunch, food is always great, and atmosphere is very lively. Both times around 10am and it's been very busy, and that could be the reason I only received half of what I ordered and condiments were not put on the table. Minor things but nevertheless, we enjoyed our brunch and time spent there.

We came on a Sunday for breakfast. No wait time and I love the atmosphere and Jesse, our waiter was the best. The music was nice but it was a bit noisy. The food was excellent and I enjoyed the lattes. Lastly, the Churros French Toast was perfect. A definite place I would be coming back to.

I had a great experience dining here! The food was not only delicious but also came in generous portions that left me more than satisfied. Every dish was flavorful and clearly made with care. If you're someone who appreciates both quality and quantity, this place definitely delivers. Highly recommended for anyone with a big appetite and a love for good food!

This is my 3rd time in Grapevine and finally, I’ve been able to get a table here! No wonder why they’re so busy: they’re fabulous! Lovely ambience, great and fast service and delicious food!! Both restaurant and bakery have soooo many options that we might need to come here a few times to try everything! We came for brunch and while we were waiting to be seated, they gave me my son a dinosaur cookie since there’s an Dino expo in town. Needless to say, it made my son’s day! We ordered Florentino quiche and the side salad was impressively good for a side salad! We also ordered chicken and waffles Benedict, which was also impressive as it was just not a simple chicken waffle but the French twist made it yummy!! For dessert, we had the churros French toast with house made dulce de leche and that was the perfect final touch!!!! Highly recommended and we’ll definitely come back!

It’s been a minute since the last time I’ve eaten here. Love the updates! The service is great, atmosphere inviting and the food is delicious. I had the Santa Monica grilled chicken sandwich and my lovely wife had the French Dip. Highly recommend both. The desserts are off the chart and we decided to go with the crème brûlée with berries.

Wow - really good! As we were flying out of DFW early in the morning and staying near Grapevine overnight - we needed a place for dinner. My wife booked a reservation at Chez Fabien. We arrived half hour early and they were able to seat of as a nice corner booth. The both was tall and had soft fabric on the setbacks. Good thing as it helped with the sound in the place. So the booth was comfortable but the sound was rather loud - some parties louder than others. No worries - I popped by AirPods in :) Our waiter was Alex. He was very pleasant. We ordered cocktails and told Alex we were taking the night slow as our entry time into offsite parking was for 2 hours later. The wife and I both ordered their French Old Fashioned. They were really nice and only $13. Later, we ordered the Calamari appetizer. It too was really good. It came with two dipping sauces and there were some fried veggies in addition to the calamari. The kitchen here is freaky fast. It could not have been more than 5 minutes and the appetizer was brought to the table by a runner. A while later, we ordered dinner. We shared their Beef Bourguignon. It was very tasty and was plenty to share. For dessert, we ordered a slice of Italian Cream Cake to go for eating later, back at the hotel. Oh my gosh, the slice was huge and was so fresh and moist. It could be the best I’ve ever had. The menu here at Chez Fabien has a lot to offer. If you don’t think you care for French food, you will still find plenty of options that will please you. And for downtown Grapevine, I also felt the price was nice for the drinks and food.

This restaurant is connected to a bakery and you can order from it to your table. My granddaughters were enjoying kolaches and croissants. Lidia was our server and provided excellent service. She was attentive and friendly. I also liked that the manager stopped by to say hello and check on us. The restaurant theme is Parisienne and offers a nice ambiance. It is clean and very pretty.

Located on Historic Main St. in Grapevine, Big Fish offers a great variety of seafood in a fun, seaworthy atmosphere that almost makes you feel oceanside. We had the fried shrimp and fish baskets with waffle fries — everything was cooked perfectly, served hot, and with a smile. To finish, we shared the bread pudding, and wow — what a treat! A generous portion topped with Whiskey Cream Sauce that paired beautifully and gave it a smooth, rich finish. We left full, happy, and energized. Good food, great service, and fair prices. Definitely a keeper!

I was hoping for some good seafood, but my first visit to Big Fish Seafood Grill & Bar didn’t quite live up to expectations. When I walked in, three servers were gathered at a table joking around, even though the restaurant was fairly busy. They eventually came over and seated me, but the first impression wasn’t great. The booth itself was also uncomfortable — the seat cushion felt worn out, like the spring inside had given up years ago. Since it was my first time here, I asked a few questions about the menu. My server was friendly and helpful, so I decided on the catfish and shrimp plate. Before ordering, I asked if it was enough food for an average adult, and she assured me the catfish fillet was “pretty large.” Unfortunately, when it arrived, the portion was incredibly small — so small that even my server admitted it was unusually tiny and offered to “take care of it.” A few minutes later, she brought out another fillet, which was a normal portion and much better. The problem came when the bill arrived: “taking care of it” apparently meant charging me an extra seven dollars for the second fillet. I didn’t expect to be billed extra for what was clearly a kitchen mistake, especially after the server acknowledged the issue herself. The food itself tasted fine, and the shrimp and catfish were cooked well enough. But the experience left me disappointed. I never saw a manager during my visit, and the overall operation felt a bit unorganized — almost like a group of teenagers were running the place at their own pace. Hopefully, my visit was just an off night, and others have better luck.

The atmosphere was fantastic! The appetizer was delicious along with the sauce as well. I LOVED the drinks as well along with the live music. The only thing I dislike was my meal. It was lacking Spicy Nashville chicken sandwich I had a taste and the mashed potatoes were too dry. Not creamy at all. Even if I was to minus the spice on the chicken sandwich, it lacked a lot of sauce in my opinion. The sever however was great and VERY attentive. I may go back and just try something different.

On a busy Saturday evening I was seated quickly, promptly served, and the food was excellent and fast. Crab cakes had a perfect ratio of breadcrumbs, they have a very meat only heavy cake, which is my preference. Highly recommend the seasonal Blackberry Mule, it wasn't sweet but very balanced.

Love Big Fish! Lots of variety on the menu, from fried to fresh. Fried, grilled l, and stramed options. Reasonable prices and great service. They're hush puppies are some of my favorite. The black and red fish is good and love the boiled platter with shrimp crab legs and potatoes. The atmosphere is extremely casual. The restaurant is a little small and can be a little crowded at times. Some of the chairs are not always comfortable. I go regularly and highly recommend

The El Gran Taco is highly recommended for breakfast, while the potato salad receives rave reviews and is popular at gatherings. Visitors are impressed by the welcoming atmosphere and complimentary samples upon arrival.
Pleasantly surprised with Meat U Anywhere. It was fantastic! Went to place our order and mentioned it was our first time there so he gave us samples of brisket and turkey breast. They were both incredible! I’ve never had such a moist turkey breast or brisket in my life. And on top of that the price is extremely reasonable. I love Hard Eight but tbh this quality of food was better here. The only flaw was the drink station. I’ve never seen a RC Cola fountain station. Need to switch it up to Coke or Pepsi and it would be amazing! And don’t forget their peach cobbler it was also delicious. Also love that they have daily specials.

Ate lunch here on a Saturday. It wasn't too busy when we got there. We were immediately offered some samples of the brisket (which Id already decided to get) when we got in line. I ordered the Meat N Bun with a side of the jalapeno bacon Mac n cheese. My son got the rib combo with fries. We both grabbed bottled drinks from the cooler near the register but later realized there was a self serve soda machine which I would've preferred. They gave us the food right away and we found a table inside. The food was all good. Very tasty. I wish they had more combo options on the menu besides the rib combo. I would've liked some combo of brisket, Mac n cheese and a drink for example. Or a two or three meat combo for more money. The meat n Bun was good but I didn't really want a sandwich bun but that seemed like the only way to get brisket without ordering a pound of it.

We just put an order in for lunch. A group of 7. My Wed Special order was enchiladas & was at the bottom of the bag smooched with sauce coming out everywhere. A little upsetting but no worries, I cleaned it up. There were 3 pounders (baked potatoes) with brisket & added bacon to all of them. NONE OF WHICH HAD BRISKET! ALL BACON! AND WE PAID FOR THE MEAT. I like the food here so this was disappointing, to say the least. Only got a pic of 2 of the 3 potatoes with ALL BACON. NO BRISKET.

The parking lot was empty, so we were tempted to go somewhere else. I'm so glad we went in. The guys here were so very helpful and kind. They prepared everything right in front of us within seconds. Would have liked a little more spice, but it was flavorful and cooked well. Also, it was a very generous portion. We would definitely return next time we are in the area.

Bbq and tacos all day! You're speaking my love language! The brisket egg tacos are the best! You can get flour or corn tortillas. Their salsa was perfect. It's not too hot, but has enough kick to wake you up. The loaded baked potato was delicious. There's something about good bbq places that makes potatoes so tasty. They are doing the potatoes right! The turkey was my favorite. The sliced brisket and their sauce were delicious. I had feared there weren't enough parking spots, but the lot is bigger than it looks when you're just driving by. And they had signs for overflow parking. The creamed corn was very creamy.Sadly the banana pudding was only okay. It looked good and the cookie was crispy and there was a lot of whipped cream, but it didn't have enough banana taste for me. The daily specials look good. I'll be back for some of their Friday fish.

3.3 stars. This was a To-Go order as well as our 1st time. Prices are by weight while sides are small, medium, and large. Brisket was good though a tad dry. Jalapeño cheddar sausage was well balanced with just the right amount of heat. Wife really enjoyed her turkey and found it moist and flavorful. The sides (mac and cheese; slaw) were average. All-in our takeout meal was $60 for two people.

Very good spot I happened upon while visiting Dallas TX. I told the cashier it was my first time there and he was very patient and explained the menu and how to best order. His recommendation was delicious. He even gave us a sample of the brisket. The meat was cooked perfectly and the sides were delicious as well. The whole group ended up ordering the same food- which though delicious I wish we could have diversified to try more of the menu. I see why it's voted BEST OF ____.

Harvest Hall is a nice meeting joint masquerading as a premium food court. Most of the food stalls sell mediocre stuff, but the pricing is on the higher side, in keeping with the setting/atmosphere. Quantity/size in on the smaller side, so you'll have to order double what you usually do. The crowd is mixed but nice, of all ages, out to have a good time. Lots of families, and couples on dates. Most Fridays, they have live music outside, which pulls in a good crowd. The vibe is usually very festive, high energy. The Hall is right next to the DART and Historic Grapevine Fort Worth train station.

I actually love the food but the customer service at the kiosk where you get tickets to the tower was terrible! Ok not everyone there is a nasty person but one woman there had a nasty attitude and terrible customer skills. She is the shortest person employed there . Short on being polite… short on charm.. and short on nice. Let me explain… I had been trying to get to the tower to see the area for over a year . I had to unexpectedly move and was wanting to make the tower visit part of my bucket list before I left . I went a few days ago and the nicest lady was working at the desk . She took my payment and proceeded to tell me about the view and what to look for. I went up to the observation deck and immediately was swarmed by wasps. That is my FEAR. Phobia and terror. So I panic and had to leave. When I got back down the lady was genuinely concerned and offered me a refund . I told her I would be back so keep it. 2 days later I returned with a can of wasp spray to protect myself .I approach the desk and there were three ladies there and the one working on the cash register was very nice and when I explained about my previous encounter at the tower , they said they weren’t sure about me taking my wasp spray up there which I understand. it’s a hazard and they have the right to tell me I couldn’t take it up there. That being said, when I had told the lady about my previous coming up there and having to leave because of the wasp, she told me well we won’t charge you again, but you’ll have to come back in a few minutes when the other people up there leave . All three of the ladies that were standing there heard her say that to me because I said I will be back and thank you that’s so nice. I really appreciate it . So I waited around for about 10 minutes. When I came back to the kiosk, there were only two ladies there and one of them was really nasty about me not taking my wasp spray upstairs when I had already said it was no problem that I could leave it. Then as I was turning to go over to the elevator, one of the women said ,Oh it will be three dollars . to which I said The other lady said I wouldn’t have to pay because I paid a couple days ago To which she replied… No, it’s three dollars. So I said well OK if you’re gonna make me pay for it again even tho i just paid for it two days ago and she just stood there with this blank look on her face rude as she could be so I gave her the money AGAIN And she went over to let me in the elevator but she didn’t tell me anything about the place didn’t give me any kind of information had just a bad attitude. It really put a damper on my excitement about going up on the tower. I know we’re not supposed to let people take away our joy But she did. It’s not even about the three dollars. It’s about the fact that she knew the lady had told me I didn’t have to pay it again and she insisted that I do. She had no reason to be rude to me and I doubt I will ever go back up there again And I will certainly not recommend anybody else going up there if they’re going to encounter this rude person . It takes very little effort to be polite and pleasant. The harvest hall needs to either send her to Customer Service school or get rid of her as she puts a bad image on the whole place.

In town on business and added a few days of R&R to the mix. Who knew Ft Worth would be such a foodie experience. Our host brought us to the little historic town of Grapevine to experience the shops and food. She selected this place as her go to for out-of-town guests. What a quaint little spot. It's just perfect for a girls day or a first date or even a remote work spot. The service was top-notch and the food? Oh my!! It was so GOOD. The bakery right next-door inside the restaurant always has fresh baked goods. I enjoy coming here with my laptop and getting some work done in such a pleasant comfortable atmosphere a lot of times I am served by a bartender named James and Roscoe. Both of them are very thoughtful and very attentive. I highly recommend Main Street Bistero & Bakery visiting Grapevine Texas. You can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. A bit hit or miss. Sausage bread was decent. “Opera cake” tasted good but it was really a black forest, almost nothing in common with opera. Coffee and croissant were subpar. The croissant tasted quite bready, while the coffee was so burnt to the point of being undrinkable for someone who’s used to lighter roasts.

We then shared a Caesar salad and a wedge salad, both so fresh and delicious. We shared a ribeye steak which was cooked perfectly the potatoes au gratin were delicious. They even split the plates for us perfectly. We also ordered the ribs which were also a pretty big size, two of us shared that plate as well. We finished with a creme brûlée, it was good but would probably try other dessert next time. Thank you for such a wonderful lunch.

Shannon And Brandon Both waiting on us. You boys if you like a beautiful woman with a great personality. She would be your best waitress. And my girls if you want a tall drink of Brandon's your best. They absolutely made the Food More delicious. Both of them also were very well. We're taking out order, Making sure that we had everything that we needed, also Brandon make sure our Steaks were cooked right. To make this even better. We were greeted by a wonderful young lady by the name of Hunter. Which we had a great conversation with. I think she like softball as much as I do. I will also put pics on here to show you how great the food was. This is also a very romantic SPOT For anyone that needs a great place To take a date. Or do as I do and hang out with your BEST FRIEND.

Dallas Love Field

Domestic airport
Dallas Love Field is an airport that showcases a diverse range of permanent and rotating artwork, including sculptures and paintings. Located in the cosmopolitan city of Dallas, it is home to one of the largest LGBT+ communities in the United States, offering plenty of cool places to enjoy drinks and entertainment under rainbow flags. The city itself is known for its diversity, with various languages spoken on its streets and a mix of bustling downtown areas and family-friendly suburbs.
This was my first time flying into and out of this airport…it was a pleasant experience overall. I appreciate that it was hassle free to drop off my rental car. The rental car shuttle guy was courteous and kind! The TSA check in was fast. It was nice to have access to healthy food options. The bathrooms are clean and it is nice that they have free items for women <3

You would figure when a plane is sitting at the gate for 3+ hours, someone would figure out said plane would have an engine issue. Nope, not Southwest, they completely board the plane, back it up, and then figure it out. Meanwhile, we completely unload the plane, scramble everyone for new flights and now I'm seven hours late. Never again...

First, it’s an airport, once you accept that, it’s bad medium or great. This is medium good. Dallas traffic is as bad as LA. The airport is a nice little place once you get in there. The even have a Maggiano’s, one of our favorite restaurants in Chicago, St. Louis, & in this airport (Philly and a couple more places we’ve visited.) that gets a Star!

I was flying out of Dallas using Southwest airlines and this is a great airport. I got dropped off when using the route 5 bus and the curbside main entrance to the terminal building is tiny. But when I got inside, it was not busy and I got through security in about 5 minutes. And due to the small size, the airport is very easy to navigate. Even though it's kind of small compared to DFW, there are still some good places to eat inside. Overall this is a great airport.

Currently here on a layover delay. The airport itself is nice, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. One thing I really appreciate is the variety of restaurants—there’s no shortage of places to grab a bite. It is a bit crowded right now due to delays, and the interior layout can feel a little tight when it gets busy, but overall it’s a solid and comfortable airport to be stuck in.

I’ve used this airport a handful of times now. Southwest is most prominent airline. They have curbside check-in for $3. Plenty of kiosks for checking in inside. It’s relatively small so not a lot of people and not too busy, compared to a full size one. If you are running late, it’s a shorter distance to trek to the gate. Plenty of food options too. They have Whataburger and some fancy bars as well. Staff is friendly. Strict but not rude.

I don’t understand why this airport has 4.5 stars!! From the getting out of the car the security directing traffic were playing and goofing off!!! Then had the audacity to Yell at my dad for helping us unload our luggage and baby stroller and car seat. They didn’t direct traffic at ALL. Also I have been to several airports and not once charged a concierge fee on top of my baggage fee for curbside check in. Then the guy who checked us in was a complete jerk when I simply asked why we were being charged on top of the baggage fee. He said you didn’t read the sign!!! Ok well you read all the signed when you are being yelled at by security have awkward baby gear and luggage and a mother who is handicapped. If you are going to charge me the concierge price at least help us or have staff to help us. This airport sucks and is beyond greedy!!! Here is the sign for all those whom need to see it prior to your next departure.

Dallas Love Field is definitely a great airport, really easy to navigate and from check-in to boarding the plane, it’s all smooth. I’ve seen so many places to eat and many stores to shop and definitely did have a good flight on Southwest Airlines to Philadelphia. I will for sure return to this airport next time!

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport

International airport
Airport
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is a massive complex spanning over 17,000 acres and serving North Texas. It offers direct rail service to Dallas and features the Founders Plaza Observation Station, providing visitors with a view of the airport's 2,300 daily takeoffs and landings. The observation area includes long-distance binoculars, parking, a graph board for identifying aircraft, speaker systems broadcasting audio from the Control Tower, and four picnic areas.
I fly frequently and love reviewing airports. DFW is one of my regular layovers when traveling from the west to east coast. DFW is a big airport that you need a tram to get between terminal A through E. The tram arrives every couple minutes and is easy to use. There are plenty of restaurants/fast food, vending machines, charging stations and restrooms throughout. I’m most familiar with terminal A. The employees at the American Airline gates are very helpful and efficient. If you have any questions I’m happy to answer them if I can. Happy Traveling!

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the country, but despite the heavy traffic, my experience there was smooth and surprisingly stress-free. Getting to the terminal was easy, and the layout is well-organized, which made the entire arrival process straightforward. One of the highlights of DFW is the Skylink service, which is excellent. The automated train system is fast, efficient, and makes traveling between terminals a breeze. Even though the airport is massive, Skylink takes away the stress of navigating long distances. The airport itself is clean, modern, and very well maintained. There are plenty of places to eat and shop, offering everything from quick bites and coffee shops to sit-down restaurants and well-known retail brands. It makes layovers or waiting times much more enjoyable with so many options to choose from. Despite being such a large and very busy airport, it never felt chaotic. The signage is clear, the staff is helpful, and the overall organization makes it easy to find your way around. Pros: - Smooth and stress-free terminal access - Excellent Skylink train service between terminals - Clean, organized, and modern facilities - Wide variety of food and shopping options - Clear signage and helpful staff Things to note: - It’s a major hub, so it can get crowded at peak times Overall: DFW Airport offers a great travel experience. Even with its size and busy atmosphere, the efficiency, cleanliness, and amenities make it stand out as one of the better large airports in the U.S.

The best! Unpredictable and beautiful! I suggest you to enjoy your time here even if your flight depart without you. American Airlines always take care you that's why I don't worry, very fancy place with everything you need in here, no complaints whatsoever. Dallas Airport is a cool hub. Food is excellent here. Easy to navigate and it's huge which is a deterrent for me as a travel lover but signs are everywhere if you pay attention to your boarding pass you will figure it out. They have electric carts for those who need assistance going from one gate/terminal to another. I'm mainly mentioning on this review the two places I ate: Pappadeux and Little Maggiano's I firmly recommend. Airport food should be part of a pleasant journey. And these two restaurants elevate your travel experience.

DFW was my home airport for most of my life...after retiring and flying even more I fully appreciate DFW Airport. Large enough for just about every airline in the world the airports multiple terminals are connected by a post-TSA, free tram system that runs constantly. With so many airlines the airport is also home to many club lounges. From the Capital One Lounge to the many Admiral's Clubs and so many in between for a respite away from the crowds. Weather and thunderstorm delays are common in spring and summer. Always a good idea to be in and out of DFW earlier in the day rather than late and face cascading issues.

Massive airport. Be ready to take the Skylink train to get to your terminal—it’s fast, but definitely not the smoothest ride. The floors throughout in the Skylink could use a more consistent cleaning as well, which detracts a bit from the overall experience. That said, the airport offers a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and shops across all terminals, which helps pass the time if you have a layover.

If you're looking for the ultimate in airport convenience, accessibility, and luxury amenities, DFW's Terminal D (the International Terminal) is it. Home to a collection of top-tier lounges including The Centurion Lounge, Capital One Lounge, Flagship Lounge, and more offering abundant seating, premium food, and best of all, shower suites for long layovers! Use the Skylink train post-security for fast, easy connections to every other terminal. Enjoy bright, comfortable concourses, a diverse mix of international dining and shopping (including Duty-Free), and dedicated support for accessibility (like the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program). Terminal D is truly built for the modern global traveler. Skip the arrival terminal crowds and head straight for the international gateway!

DFW is a great international airport to arrive at or fly from! It's spacious and big, which is befitting of an airport in The Great State of Texas, and also very "Texas friendly" as well. One feature that I enjoyed is the "Skylink" which connects all of the gates. It's an airport that I'll look forward to returning to again!
