The Frisco Heritage Museum is a captivating institution that offers visitors a journey through time, showcasing the evolution of Frisco from its early days to its current dynamic community. The museum features various period exhibits and artifacts that provide insight into Frisco's rich history, from pioneer settlement to the rise of the railroad industry.
It displays a history of Frisco since its early birthday in 1902. Several artifacts of glory day of cotton industry, then models of early Ford automobiles, a gas station of the old time - Mobilgas. A short movie of train operation. Early printing machine with trays of letters to hand-arrange a master layout for printed pappers later with the old printing machine, etc. It is good to know how much human has progressed!!!!!!

Visited during spring break. Admissions was free. Apollo exhibit was small but informative. This was not our first visit but it was great to see the exhibits change and evolve. Loved seeing the old cars and learning about the trains in Frisco. The display of dining car dishes was a surprise.
Kathy R — Google review
Visited during the NASA: The Apollo Project exhibit. Very informative and neat free museum. They had rocket themed scavenger hunt for the little ones. The staff was very friendly and is pretty remarkable to see how the city transformed in a century.

What a gem!! Just when I thought I couldn’t love Frisco any more , we discovered this place. My 20 month old and I had a blast and can’t wait to come back. It was the perfect outing.
Alison F — Google review
Small but neat little museum that offers a great look into the early history of Frisco and how the railroads shaped the town. Inside, you’ll find interesting exhibits and railroad artifacts, while the highlight is definitely the collection of replica and restored historical buildings just outside the museum. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions, which made the visit even better. A great stop if you’re interested in local history.
Nick D — Google review
I love this museum! Two floors of Frisco history, plus several old houses, a church, and a blacksmith office outside. Don't forget to see the 1940s firetruck hidden behind Babe's Restaurant.
Katrina M — Google review
We had a great time at the Frisco Heritage Museum. There’s two story worth of invaluable history about the Frisco rail road, vintage printing press and so much more. Me and hubby also loved watching the cotton plantation film at the theater upstairs. The lady at the gift shop is delightful and the overall facility is very clean and well organized. A must stop by when in Frisco.
Sayak B — Google review
First time visiting Frisco Texas and we can say we had a great time at the Frisco Heritage Museum. There’s so much to learn abput the city's rich history and how it all began. This is worthy of invaluable history about the Frisco city, the rail road, the first printing press in this city, the cotton plantation film at the theater upstairs and so much more.

National Videogame Museum

Specialty Museums
The National Videogame Museum showcases the history of video games, featuring interactive exhibits that showcase classic machines and consoles. Visitors can play many old consoles and computers, providing a trip down memory lane for long-term video game fans. The museum also has an arcade where visitors can enjoy playing old games. Scores are reset nightly to ensure all players have a chance to compete fairly. It's an enjoyable experience for anyone interested in the evolution of video gaming technology over time.
Loved the entire experience, so many exhibits and info boards on the history of video games, so many interactive exhibits, a real life arcade, gift shop and games to play! Could absolutely have spent more time there, but managed to get the highest score in Duck Hunt, my favourite childhood game, which was epic! Very cool art exhibition in the lobby as well and some more spaces too, great to come for some fun for all ages!
Alexandra — Google review
The National Video Game was a gem of a find. It’s small, but interactive with tons of different systems from over time to try out. The layout is easy to navigate and creatively done. My only criticism is that the website advertises a military discount for tickets but at the window they said it was only for the active member, not their family. The irony is that I drove 4 hours alone to visit the museum to help distract my kids from the fact that my active-serving husband is away on duty. So I would encourage the museum to at least update the website with that info. Even without the discount, I didn’t regret bringing the kids to visit. We spent 3.5 hours there and had a lot of fun. I would absolutely recommend this to any age group wanting a fun and educational field trip, nostalgic memories, day date as a couple, or temporary escape from reality as you immerse in virtual realities. I’m personally not a gamer and still had a great time trying out the systems and learning a lot.
Lilian R — Google review
The experience was overall pretty good. There was a lot of history that I learned about the gaming industry! My son and I spent about 2 hours checking out the museum. They had a lot of game system to play on. This did take me back to my younger years lol.
MATTHEW T — Google review
This museum is such a fun find and perfect for families. It’s right next to the Frisco Public Library, which is one of the best libraries in Texas, and surrounded by a ton of other great spots, so you can easily make a full day out of this area. If you grew up in the 80s, 90s, or early 2000s and loved video games, you’ll definitely enjoy the nostalgia here. Even if you were the kind of kid who only played on a friend’s console every now and then, there’s something really fun about revisiting all the old systems and games. For kids, it’s like stepping into a whole new world, and it’s cool watching them experience the technology their parents grew up with. My 10-year-old thought this place was amazing and my toddler wanted to touch everything in sight. There’s a great mix of history, interactive exhibits, and hands-on displays that make it enjoyable for both kids and adults. The Pokémon section is a favorite and the 80s living room setup is a really cool throwback. The arcade in the back is definitely a highlight. We spent almost an hour in there just using the tokens that came with admission. Some of the displays have items that are broken or worn out, but that’s expected with how interactive everything is. Be aware that the museum does show a few mature-rated games in the historical sections, so parents with younger kids might want to be ready for a few conversations, but overall it’s very family friendly. One thing to note: the water bottle policy can be tricky. I saw a mom in front of me get told she couldn’t enter because she had a bottle of water at the bottom of her stroller, and she ended up asking for a refund. I understand wanting to protect the tech, but in situations like nursing moms or little kids, that can make things awkward. We had water in our backpack and no one checked, so just something to be aware of before you go. The facility is clean, comfortable, and well-kept inside, which is a huge plus in Texas heat. Military pricing only applies to the service member’s ticket, so if you’re a veteran and bringing family, make sure to bring a dependent ID to get the discount on both. We spent about an hour and a half here but easily could have stayed longer. Some people mention the price isn’t worth it, but if you understand what a museum experience offers, it’s absolutely fair for everything you get. Between the nostalgia, the hands-on exhibits, and the arcade fun, it’s a really cool spot in Frisco for families, gamers, and anyone looking for something different to do.

6/18/25 I live in Jacksonville,FL and i came over here in the area to visit so i decided to take a peek at this Video Game Museum :) I gotta say i saw some old commerical i used to see during 2010 when i looked them on youtube! (Example: Sega Master System Commerical, Sonic the Hedgehog Sega Genesis Debut Commercial and more) Everything was clean, and neat, staff was really nice, and i got to see some video games i enjoy playing as a kid. i really like this place and i will definitely come again :) 5 Star Rating A+++++++++++ Rating

A must. If you nerd out, if you like games, if you like computers, if your a geek, it's got it all! Amazing history showing old systems and computers. You cns play games on many different systems throughout the years. They even have a doom map of the facility you can play through on doom! At the end is an arcade with tokens, high scores, and a souvenir shop. We were in town for a conference and I'm glad we went!
Jeremy S — Google review
I took my younger brother here a while ago and we enjoyed ourselves. He's really into video games. They have consoles from different eras, and each one includes the history behind the console. While my brother wasn't interested in the history, he enjoyed the mini arcade section. This place is good for older and younger video games enthusiasts.
Amber H — Google review
A Must-Visit for Any Gamer – Past or Present! We had an absolute blast at the National Videogame Museum in Frisco, Texas. From the pixelated classics of the ‘80s to the gaming rigs of the early 2000s, this place is a time machine for gamers of all generations. The interactive exhibits let you actually play history—from Pong to Punch-Out—and there’s something magical about watching your kids discover the joy of retro arcade games. The museum is thoughtfully curated with incredible attention to detail. Whether it’s the recreated 1980s bedroom or the massive console timeline wall, you can feel the passion behind every display. Bonus: the museum is super family-friendly. It’s not just for die-hard gamers—my whole crew enjoyed it. We snapped a bunch of photos and videos (which I’ll add to this review), and honestly, we’ll be talking about this visit for a long time. If you’re in the Frisco area, this is a can’t-miss experience. 🎮👾🕹 #GameOn

Sci-Tech Discovery Center

Children's Museums
Sci-Tech Discovery Center is an interactive, family-friendly museum that focuses on science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) activities. The center offers hands-on experiments such as building planes, wind experiments and super microscopes among others. Guests can purchase a pass to visit all three museums upon arrival. There are also family restrooms available for convenience. Admission costs $10 per person aged two years and older.
I brought my granddaughter while fall break in Plano was going on and had an awesome time exploring with her. As a 5 year old it’s important to have interactive experiences. We went when it opened so it wasn’t crowded and we weren’t rushed off of each adventure. She absolutely love it. She didn’t want to leave. The area with the teacher and hands on learning was the best part. She was amazing. I’d say this would be a great space to bring your children.
Stephanie H — Google review
My family and I were in town visiting, and we came across this discovery center. We have visited a few and have always had a great experience. My son was excited to go in and play however was disappointed when he realized some of the activities weren’t working or set up at all. He was most excited for this kids market, but tea mixed it was a complete mess and was very unmotivated to play. This was very disappointing. We paid $30 to enter and feel as if it was just a waste of money. I expected so much more from this place, but we will not be returning.
Stephiee G — Google review
Great option for kids to have many hands on activities. I was even surprised that the layout kept going into a back area with more activities. Seems like most kids weren't back there. Both kids (5 and 7) enjoyed it a lot and would have stayed longer than the 1.5 hours we were there.
Katie — Google review
We stopped here during a family vacation to Dallas. We homeschool so we love STEM based exhibits. You’ll find 2 different areas on one floor to explore. My kids loved the hands on experiments with electricity, resonance, and air pressure. It’s one thing to learn from books. But nothing beats hands on experience with experiments! And that’s the real value of visiting here. Think of this like a fun learning experience. You won’t have to push your kids to learn. They’ll do it automatically. Tickets were easy to buy from the website. The experience was not crowded which was great. Hidden find: don’t forget to go outside and check out the whisper dishes. Also… Tickets you buy are only good for the science tech discovery center and NOT the video game museum.
Don S — Google review
Great hands on fun for kids and parents. Everything is hands-on with activities like air rockets, giant operation game, topographic maps, paper airplane launcher, etc. there is also a play HEB grocery store. We stayed for probably 2 hours.
Amanda C — Google review
Great place for kiddos! Especially those with sensory issues. Lots of different things to do. My 6 yr old had so much fun. Went for a birthday party and it was definitely worth it. So glad we now have a new fun place to go!
Tara H — Google review
With entry from the Pogo pass(very worthwhile!) we spent a few hours here. Kids had an absolute blast here. Definitely big enough to spend a few hours, but smaller than the big city Science museums. I can imagine that a camp or 2 during the summer will run the place over, and would feel chaotic- on a Sunday it was great. The volunteers could be a little more attentive, and keep a little more order. Definitely easy to recommend for a safe and wholesome experience at a smaller type science museum
Rabbi J — Google review
I had a Get Out Pass and came here with a friend with a POGO Pass. We each had tickets as part of the pass packages. Our kids had the best time getting hands on with science. There was a little lesson to get them thinking and they loved it. It was fun for all ages! I was playing as much as the kids were!

The lake, fountains, and walking trails make the experience of the Texas Sculpture Garden to a whole new level. Free admission and open to the public year-round. Enjoyed spending time over here.

This sculpture garden is an absolute treasure! The combination of beautiful artwork and tranquil natural surroundings makes it a perfect spot for a peaceful stroll or a relaxing afternoon. The ponds are often visited by ducks, herons, egrets, and even turtles—adding a serene, almost magical touch to the experience. The grounds are meticulously maintained, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the space clean and inviting. I especially appreciate the dog sanitation stations, which make it easy for pet owners to enjoy the park responsibly. Whether you're into art, birdwatching, or just need a quiet place to unwind, this garden offers something special. Highly recommended!

I'm on my way to McKinney, TX for a Chicago tribute band concert and had some time to spare. So, I went over to the Texas Sculpture Garden to check out the sculptures. I didn't have much time but the ones I saw were pretty cool. Nice little pond area to walk around as well. #mysteryladystravelingfeet #gypsylife #friscotx #texas #sculpturegarden

Great place to just walk around, enjoy the scenic water fountains and check out some cool sculptures! The property was well kept, and clean. The paths are clearly marks if you want to make a loop around etc. Little ones had fun chasing turtles back into the water, and getting their energy out running on the grass. Honey bees were super cool too!!!
Benal R — Google review
This was such a unique park! It was so beautiful and interesting. Highly recommend checking it out, I'm glad I did!!
Melissa W — Google review
What a great discovery! I have been there twice taking pictures this week. The art is abundant and unique. After touring the grounds the first visit, I read about additional art pieces inside the Hall Park Building. On the second visit, I was able to see beautiful art pieces in the Lobby. Be sure and pick up a brochure while you are there. The guide includes a map and a list of the artists with images of their artwork. I am already planning on a third visit to tour the Hall Collection which extends from the Dallas Parkway to Warren Parkway. This is a must see!
Melinda D — Google review

It's very spacious and facilities are Well-maintained. Nearby, they also have community garden, harvest, kids' play zone, amphitheater, and veterans memorial. They have a pond there, you'll see plenty of turtles 🐢 and fishes 🐟 there. Overall, it's very calm and peaceful there, should definitely visit!!

Splash pad is AMAZING!!! All 3 of my kids loved it. Clean, not crowded early on a Monday morning, excellent experience! Uses advanced water saving technology to preserve this great resource. Will be back!
Danielle S — Google review
Frisco Commons Park has everything you want from a park. Starting with the playground which has two sides, one side is for children 2-5 years old (TOT LOT) and the other side for children 5-12 years old (BIG KID LOT). This playground includes slides, swings, seesaw, rock climbing, and puzzles. They also got a Duet Outdoor Instrument which is pretty cool since I have never seen one anywhere else. They got some shaded areas too, like the veterans memorial, spacious pavilion, and some picnic tables. This is real good for like birthday parties, mini events, and hangouts if you plan on doing something for the family. Now the trails, it does not matter if you go in the morning or evening, it has always been a peaceful and great place to go walking, along with you getting some nice views. Hm: bathrooms, splash pad, benches along the trail, pond, fishing, community garden, an ice cream truck every now and then, parking.

Fantastic park. Beautiful areas for picnics, fun play area for the kids, and turtles at the pond! What more could you ask for?!
Kyla K — Google review
There are plenty of shaded tables and seats, restrooms are nearby, and it's fairly clean. This isn't the fanciest/best splash pad, but it gets the job done. It's also small enough to where you can see the kids no matter where they're at.

Stonebriar Centre

Shopping mall
Shopping
Stonebriar Centre is a massive shopping destination in the Southwest, offering an array of department stores, restaurants, and diverse shops. The mall boasts six anchor stores and over 100 leased spaces for various tenants. Visitors can also enjoy a well-equipped movie theater and ample parking. Beyond shopping, the area surrounding Stonebriar Centre offers numerous entertainment options such as go-kart racing, indoor skydiving, golf courses, and professional sports teams.
This place is unbeatable for high-class shopping! With a wide variety of stores and delicious food options, it's perfect for a day out. Just a heads up—it's bustling with people, so if you're not comfortable in crowded spaces, this might not be for you. But if you enjoy a lively atmosphere, definitely go for it! We dined at The Cheesecake Factory, where I had the spaghetti with tomato and meatballs, and my friend had the sliders with pickles on the side. Both dishes were fantastic! The food was excellent, and the shopping afterward was truly the cherry on top. I highly recommend this spot for a fun day out!
Sierra G — Google review
This mall is one of my favorite places to shop and hang out. The roof is designed like a giant sunroof, letting in lots of natural light and creating a bright, open atmosphere that feels really inviting. There are plenty of well-known brands to choose from, so whether you’re shopping for clothes, electronics, or gifts, you’ll likely find what you’re looking for. The food court is large with tons of options, making it easy to grab a quick bite or enjoy a full meal with friends or family. Another big plus—lots of free parking spots, which makes the whole experience even more convenient. Definitely a great place to spend a few hours!
Shahabeddin M — Google review
Stonebriar is one of the best malls in the Dallas area — and honestly, what else are you gonna do on a Sunday besides blow money on things you don’t really need? They’ve got just about everything: big department stores, a cinema, kids’ play zones where little ones can burn energy, plenty of restrooms, and a huge food court (probably the weakest part of the mall — the smells get a little “experimental” down there). There’s even a Barnes & Noble for people who still enjoy real paper books. Overall, it’s a clean, diverse mall where you can easily spend a few hours wandering around and touching stuff just because you can.
Ronnie B — Google review
Stonebriar Centre is truly one of the finest shopping destinations in the area, combining a wide selection of stores, diverse dining options, and an overall pleasant atmosphere. The mall is impressively spacious, clean, and modern, making it easy to navigate even on busy days. It offers a great mix of popular brands, from high-end retailers to budget-friendly choices, so there is something for every shopper. In addition to shopping, the mall provides excellent entertainment options, such as the KidZania attraction, a well-maintained movie theater, and play areas for children, making it ideal for families. The food court and nearby sit-down restaurants give visitors plenty of choices to recharge after a day of shopping. Security and customer service staff are attentive and professional, which makes you feel safe and welcomed throughout your visit. Accessibility is also a strong point, with plenty of parking and convenient entrances. Overall, Stonebriar Centre stands out not just for its retail variety, but for its well-designed, family-friendly environment. It is a place where you can spend an entire day shopping, dining, and relaxing without any worries. Whether you live nearby or are visiting from out of town, it is definitely worth checking out for a memorable shopping experience.
Parvin K — Google review
It's a pretty busy mall, and under some construction while I was there. Other than that, a good place to go shopping or for a bite to eat.
Sam F — Google review
This was a nice mall. I didnt spent much time outside of the LEGO store or Kidzania but we did walk around the whole thing once. We ate at the food court. The food in the Japanese restaurant (forgot name sorry) was almost flavorful. It tasted like it was missing something but I dont know what. There are many stores, most though I'm not interested in. But definitely a nice and busy mall.
Julie — Google review
Highly recommend this Mall. My family and I came to the Samsung store. We walked around and felt comfortable in the environment. Very spacious and clean. I give it a 10/10.
BEBERLYN C — Google review
This expansive shopping mall, featuring two levels filled with a diverse array of retailers, clothing outlets, restaurants, a food court, snack shops, a movie theater, a bookstore, department stores, and a connected hotel, serves as a valuable resource for shopping, dining, and entertainment for both residents and the surrounding community. The architecture of the building provides ample space and natural light, creating an inviting atmosphere for visitors. Additionally, the wide range of dining options and the presence of an AMC theater enhance the overall experience, making it a well-rounded destination for leisure and enjoyment.

A must-visit for any soccer fan! The interactive exhibits, rich history, and modern tech make the experience both fun and inspiring. A perfect blend of nostalgia and innovation.

It was a good place to spend a couple of hours. It is truly a "national" Hall of fame place meaning if you are looking to go there to see replicas or jerseys or snippets of say Mbappe or Kane or Messi you are not going to find it. It is truly about US soccer. What we did like were the variety of VR related soccer games available. Being a goalie, penalty shoot outs etc which we enjoyed. Worth a trip for a soccer fan wanting or even a casual VR enthusiast.
Karthick R — Google review
This was a great place to visit. It was nice to walk through different areas of the club and see the field. I was really impressed by the way the stadium was arranged to where you had a great view from almost anywhere. The field was well maintained and we even got to take a picture at ground level with our soccer club. There were also virtual games in the club that the boys played. I plan to go again if we make it back to plano to hopefully see a game in the future.
Dominick R — Google review
Got to see some significant artifacts (e.g., Dewar trophy, Carli Lloyd and Nick Rimando jerseys, Eddie Pope’s boots from MLS Cup 1996). Would like to see more artifacts.

Lots of memorabilia and some cool 3d activities. The staff were also really nice and helped the whole family participate in the activities. Fun for all ages and soccer enthusiasts!

If you’re a soccer enthusiast this place is a MUST! Really nice museum with a lot of fascinating and valuable memorabilia. Pricing is pretty fair and there’s a lot of interactive exhibits! Loved seeing the titles won in the back room trophy cabinet.

Visited with a couple soccer aficionados. If you love US soccer/MLS/Women’s soccer it’s a great place. It also has some cool face recognition features that you can interact with some of the exhibits. The people working there are very helpful.

This was one of the most exhilarating and exciting activities I have ever experienced for my 4th of July birthday celebration! Andrew, my flight instructor, was the best! He made you feel comfortable and confident that you could FLY! I bought 4 more flights on the spot!!

I enjoyed the experience and my gbabies definitely had loads of fun! However, the front desk help was a bit disappointing and once upstairs it seems that everyone is just piled on top of each other and space is limited. The instructors were cool.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. I took my wife here for our first year anniversary and due to us caring for my elderly grandmother, we can’t go far. We LOVED it! I’m terrified of heights yet this gave me such a thrill that we will gladly do this multiple times a year! The high fly option is a MUST! our guide, Andrew was awesome! Heck all of the staff were so friendly! I would recommend doing this to anyone! It’s not scary even if you have a fear of heights but still so thrilling! I needed to wear the helmet with the visor because I struggled to breathe through the wind. Once I had it though, I had no issues! My wife and others with us had no issues with the wind though- I was the odd one haha. My wife, who wears glasses, suggests taking off your glasses because the safety goggles required might push your glasses too hard against your nose. I can’t express enough how awesome this was. Literally, if you have a fear of heights, fret not. You will get the amazing thrill without fear of heights. If you’re interested in sky diving or bungee, try this first. If you’re not interested, do this anyway. My wife and I are already looking to book another session. After your first session, future appointments are discounted. All equipment is provided too. They also record and edit videos of your “flight” that can be purchased for $8 and professional pictures for $4.

Our group had a fantastic instructor named James. Check in process smooth & easy. We had a party of 5 and all enjoyed it very much. 1 of our friends ate before his flight so I highly do NOT recommend eating or drinking prior to your flight time. The wind tunnel wasn't as loud as I imagined & ear plugs definitely helped. The guy who checked me in on the 1st FL told me I couldn't wear my eyeglasses, but you are allowed to & it's also posted on the website. James was very helpful, encouraging, & friendly. Their gift cards are state of the art technology! Go check it out. It would be nice if corporate would have more than one wind tunnel for flights. I'll definitely be back again w/more friends! Thank you, James & iFly Frisco, TX! 🪂

I brought a bus full of high school physics students to iFLY, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The staff did an excellent job teaching the science behind indoor skydiving in a way that was engaging, hands-on, and easy for the students to understand. The instruction was clear, the environment was safe and organized, and the team truly made learning fun. The highlight, of course, was watching the students fly. They absolutely loved it. The instructors were patient, enthusiastic, and made sure every student felt confident and supported in the wind tunnel. This is a fantastic field trip destination for STEM classes and a great way to bring physics concepts to life. We’ll definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

iFLY Indoor Skydiving - Dallas delivers an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The check-in process is smooth and organized. Staff guide you through every step without wasting time. The briefing before the flight is clear, practical, and focused on safety. Even first-timers feel prepared before entering the wind tunnel. The instructors make the difference. They bring energy, skill, and real attention to each person. They keep the vibe upbeat while making sure you feel confident. Their communication is sharp. Every gesture inside the tunnel is easy to follow. The flight itself is pure adrenaline. The sensation is as close as it gets to freefall without jumping from a plane. The tunnel is clean, modern, and powerful. You feel weightless but safe the entire time. Watching others fly adds to the excitement. The photos and videos are professional quality. They capture the flight clearly, making it easy to share the experience later. The facility is spotless. Lockers, waiting areas, and gear are well maintained. Everything runs on schedule, and the team keeps things moving efficiently. This works for solo flyers, families, and groups. It’s ideal for birthdays, celebrations, or a new challenge. Five stars for top-tier service, professional staff, and a rush that stays with you long after you leave.

We had a really great experience at iFly today for a field trip with our homeschool group. My daughter struggles a lot with fear and anxiety and was very nervous about flying. When it was her turn to fly she wanted to back out and was about to get very upset but Jeff, our guide, was able to help her calm down and overcome her fear! She did it and she had so much fun! Thank you, Jeff! You have no idea what a huge step this was for her!!

Barbecue restaurant
Hutchins BBQ is a beloved local spot known for its mouthwatering brisket, ribs, and fried catfish served in a charming rustic-chic setting. Despite the long lines on weekdays, this family-owned restaurant has earned a reputation as one of the best BBQ joints in Collin County and has even made it to the prestigious Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ list.
Oh my Holy BBQ God’s, Hutchins BBQ is my #1 BEST bbq place I’ve ever eaten at. The hubby and I have been to many, and my all time favorite has always been Franklin’s and LA’s bbq, but Hutchins is by far my favorite. The line was long on a Saturday evening, but it was so worth it. It is great they have so many smokers and warmers to have enough for everyone until closing time, and that we don’t wait in line and they run out and we get sent home without bbq. The best part was the bbq, no their free warm peach cobbler, no their free banana pudding, it was all the BEST! The Texas Twinkie is to die for, I have never had one and it was DELICIOUS. Oh, they also have real bacon bits to put in your potatoe, not that imitation stuff. You can sit outside, and there is alot of seating inside. Take a marker if you want to write on their wall and leave your mark. Loved it all! Will be coming back again. Thank you to everyone who was kind to us being our first time.

Just go eat here!!!!!! I’ve never heard my husband say the food is really good this many times and we’ve been to some really good and even some fancy restaurants in a lot of cities. I gave up eating beef about seven years ago and I literally had to taste the brisket because my husband kept raving. It was delicious.lol Even their turkey and chicken were so amazing. The turkey was a super hit with the kids. They had recommended it as apparently it is a staff fave as well. We went to a really good spot in Austin and I have to say Hutchins was much better. We got fries, potato salad, and coleslaw. Every single one of them was freaking delicious. The people there are so amazing. All the men at the smokehouse were so friendly and helped us well as it was our first time trying. They were sold out of their beef ribs by the time we got there. The Texas Twinkie is I must try as well. The peach cobbler was delicious. We are obviously gonna be going back and will bring our friends there as well.

Staff was awesome! Food was good. A bit greasy but delicious. We got there for lunch and there was a line but it moved pretty quick. I'd definitely eat there again. We tried the brisket, original sausage and texas twinkle. For the sides we got loaded mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. The banana pudding was scrumptious!! Ice cream machine was down so didn't get to try that with the cobbler but it was still all soo yummy!
TheLovely J — Google review
I’ve waited 13 years to try this place and MY GOD! There is NOOOOO better bbq in ALL of Texas. The food was out of this world but the service was 100 times better! Chris and the whole line treated me and my wife like royalty. I felt like PRESCOTT from the Dallas cowboys. They made sure we TRIED everything on the menu and did NOT rush us to get to next person in line. I looked at my ticket and it was priceless. They could’ve charged me $1k and I would’ve still tipped 20% I’m not making this up! Chris had to be a Hutchins himself! The way he represented that legacy and establishment was classy. The Hutchins know what they are doing and it’s not just making money it’s giving customers the best experience that starts with a Texas Twinkie! Ai could never right a review like this. This is from a real satisfied human after visiting Hutchins!

I've had BBQ from all over Texas and this is the best! Great lunch with my family for my 41st birthday! Arlet made sure we had everything we needed! Every interaction with the staff was friendly and welcoming! The Twinkies, pork ribs, Mac and cheese and banana pudding were my favorite!
Korina A — Google review
Absolutely amazing. Loved our server, Cynthia. She was super attentive to my kids. Don’t forget to try the banana pudding. Kids love the ice cream. Entire family had a blast. 10/10! Thank you. We will be back!
Jennifer — Google review
The chicken was over powered with rub which made it too salty and peppery. The chicken was juicy but the flavor was horrible. The sausage was bad and we threw it away. The stuffed bacon wrapped jalapeño would have been better warm and not cold. The beans were not pinto beans the were baked beans with brisket. If you like baked beans then you will love it for me it was too sweet. The beef rib was okay but when I told the guy behind the counter serving us that this was our first time he was very polite and told us that there beef rib is better then Black, Coopers and Truth BBQ.. My friend you are so wrong on that one by a mile there meats have amazing flavor and none of them have over powered spices on them. Now the banana pudding is off the hook good. Also the have peach cobbler and ice cream which is free for in house dining. I wish they could have had some blackberry cobbler but it’s okay. The atmosphere is amazing and I wish they had coke products and not Pepsi. I don’t think I will come back because that was the worst $145 I have ever spent but not as bad as Teddy’s BBQ in Weslaco Texas.
Albert M — Google review
Amazing service with amazing food. I ordered the brisket, pork ribs, creamed corn, & Texas Twinkie. Everyone was super patient as I was trying to decide what I wanted, I even got to sample the brisket before I committed. Very flavorful and melted in my mouth. The ribs were my favorite, sweet & tangy as well as tender. Creamed corn, my favorite Texan side. I've tried to make this at home but have never been able to get the taste right. Texas really knows how to do it. The Texas twinkie is a jalapeno stuffed with brisket & cream cheese and then wrapped in bacon. Great combo, wish it was spicy though. If you dine in, you get access to their desserts (AYCE). Banana pudding, peach cobbler, soft serve vanilla. All were delicious, especially the banana pudding. I actually think this is the best banana pudding I've ever had. This I've made at home and have always liked mine versus other bakeries/restaurants I've tried, but at Hutchins' it's much better. Overall really good experience. This is a must go.

Hamburger restaurant
Kenny's Burger Joint in Frisco is a local chain that offers hickory-grilled burgers, sandwiches, and spiked shakes in a modern setting. The restaurant has received rave reviews for its top-notch service and delicious food. Customers have praised the BBQ burger, Juicy Lucy, queso, Southern fried chicken sandwich, patty melt, and sweet potato fries. The casual atmosphere and generous portions of food make it a great spot to enjoy fresh grilled burgers and huge onion rings with excellent service.
Best 1/2 lb burger in town! Juicy, flavorful and always cooked to perfection. Fully dressed- I love the classic burger which comes with dill pickle slices, ripe generous slices of tomato, multiple red onions, large leaf lettuce and mayo. Consistently spectacular. I enjoy eating outside on the patio- just me savoring my burger. Great staff, Cyndi served me today and she's bubbly and personable. Inside is a vibe.

When on holiday it’s always nice to explore new places. This is a popular spot from what we could tell. It reminded me of an episode from King of the Hill when Bobby tempted the steak challenge (this restaurant has a few food challenges). None of which I am confident to try. However, I would like to have been around to see someone try one. There is a hall of shame for those who were defeated and a wall of fame for those who went to conquered and did! The food was tasty. The service was good. Our server was well knowledgeable of the menu and the restaurant. His fun facts were entertaining. In spite of our server being extremely busy, he made sure to check on us and the others he was serving. This is a must stop for me if I am ever in the area again.

I was visiting for a work trip, and needed to eat after a long flight. I found Kenny's on Google Maps and decided to try it out. At first I was a bit confused as from the outside it looked like the place was closed (darkened windows and uninviting doors made it seem like it was closed.). I asked someone who seemed to be walking up to the doors at the same time if they were open and she said yet. Once inside there is a bar area to the right, and sit down dining to the left. I was planning to do a take out order. It took a couple of minutes before anyone acknowledged me, and when I said I wanted to do a takeout order, he directed me to the bar because someone had not arrived yet. (not sure who that was or why it mattered). The bar staff were amazing. I believe their names were Eric and Joe, and they ended up taking great care of me. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries. The burger was cooked to perfection and had plenty of flavor. I substituted American cheese for the cheddar that was supposed to come on it. The fried need to go though. They are a batter covered fry (most likely frozen) and they have no flavor. I would prefer hand cut natural fries which are just as easy to make. I tried the fried pickles. They were okay. Again, no real flavor to the batter, but had a nice crunch. The onion ring is very good and huge. The bacon wrapped Jalapeno pepper has a nice crunch to it and flavor. Overall I recommend this place, but just with they would change their french fries. Oh and the cool thank you note they put on my bag was a great touch!
Karl D — Google review
Very disappointing. We expected it to be better based on the reviews. My wife ordered the old fashioned double double. The menu says it will be "cooked to your specs". We were never asked our specs. The burger came out with blood running across the plate. The bun was soggy from this. My wife cut the burger in half. The burger was barely cooked at all. I eat rare meat often, and I would NOT have eaten this burger myself. My wife called the server over to the table and told her the issue and asked for it to be well done. The server, Meagan, was friendly, and took the burger away. The burger came back with a new bun. My wife cut into it again. It was more done, but was still closer to rare. (See the picture attached. This is the burger AFTER having it cooked more). They put so much mustard on it the second time that it was a mess to eat. The really frustrating part is that my wife had originally cut the burger in half. They literally took the two halved patties and put them back on the grill. They then used those same patties again. When getting the burger back the second time, my wife didn't know they had used the same patties because the bun and everything else was new and uncut. As she usually does, she cut the burger in half. Now, because the patties had previously been cut in half, she had 8 pieces of patty falling out all over her and her plate covered in mustard. My wife ate about 1/4 of the burger. The total price for 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2 sodas was nearly $48 + tip. For half of that, we could have had a much better experience at Whataburger.

Amazing! This is the only word to describe Kenny's. The best burger ever. My daughters and I enjoyed a day out and we stumbled across this burger joint. We had burgers and a chicken sandwich. First, the chicken breast for the sandwich was huge...and delicious. Second, the burgers were cooked to a perfect medium and they were sooooo juicy. As for the service, Emily was great. She always anticipated our need for refills and she was incredibly sweet and helpful. Thank you Emily. We will definitely be back, we'll bring Dad next time.

We are visiting from out of town. We were looking for somewhere to eat. We found this place not too far from where we were and not too far from the hotel we were staying at. Went here got seated right away. Our server, Emily, came over within a minute and asked for our drink orders. Came back after a person came back to our table from stepping away for a minute. Took our order. She asked if we had any questions. I did have one. I asked what the mushroom brie was. She explained it very well. We ordered, our food came out after a few minutes. Shout out to the cook on 8/15/2025 around 130 to 230pm, that was by far thee best mushroom burger I have ever had. Thank you. It was overall a great experience. I saw they had won awards in the past. After today I see why they have. I can't wait to come back. I recommend this place fully.

I stopped in for lunch at Kenny's Burger Joint after driving by that morning on my way to work and thought I'd give it a shot. I am a burger aficionado, I have easily had thousands of burgers in my life, and I enjoy cooking them as well. It isn't hard to make a decent burger, but this place takes it to a new level, an art! I had the Black and Blue burger with blue cheese, bacon, and grilled jalapeños along with the truffle fries. HOLY COW, this is the tastiest burger I've had in a long time!! Kenny's has more on the menu, and I look forward to trying it all, especially Philly, which they call the "Steak Bomb." Any way to get out of saying the word "Philly" is fine with me. The place gets really busy around lunch, so be prepared for a 20min wait or so, if you are walking in around 12:30, but it is totally worth it! Trust me, go and enjoy this place if you can.

First time visiting, and the burgers were amazing. The atmosphere was great and our waitress was very accommodating. She made sure we understood the menu and was very helpful in answering any questions we had. She checked on us regularly and made our visit very pleasant. I would recommend to anyone looking for a mouth-watering burger and don't get me start on the fries.

Babe's Chicken Dinner House is a relaxed local chain that offers a southern dining experience in Frisco's historic district. The restaurant has a casual and family-friendly environment, with made-from-scratch recipes served family style. The menu features an abundance of fried chicken options, along with other southern classics like chicken fried steak, chicken tenders, fried catfish, and hickory smoked chicken. The charming Wild West atmosphere adds to the overall dining experience.
If you're looking for southern comfort food, this is the place to go. You can't go wrong with their fried catfish, chicken fried chicken, or fried chicken. They also have smoked chicken if you don't want fried food. With your entrée comes their unlimited sides like cream corn, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, salad, and bread. This is our go-to comfort food place.

Recently met with friends at the Babes Chicken Dinner House on Page Street in Frisco and had an expectedly nice meal. There are two indoor seating areas, can be quite busy so be patient when it comes to seating. No reservations, just first come, first serve. Opening hours are 11am to 2pm (lunch) and 5-pm (dinner) during the week and 11am to 9pm on weekends. Everything is very simple. Choose one of five chicken (or fried catfish) mains. They will be brought out along salad and unlimited cream biscuits, corn, green beans, mash potatoes. I ordered the chicken fried steak and found it to be pretty good. All sides were fine. They offer desserts as well if you've room left over after your chicken dinner . This is a fun place to eat as a small group or family. Prices are reasonable for the quantity and quality of the chicken dinners. Service is friendly and very timely with bringing food out to the tables. Environs are enjoyable for a casual night out. Would enjoy eating at Babe's again in Frisco or one of their other branches.

We used Babe’s catering for our wedding in Frisco in July. We coordinated with Erin Reynolds and the process was super easy! She was very communicative, which we appreciated. We got Babe’s delivered to our venue and had staff serve it and it was great! It was a big hit with our guests. There was barely any chicken left to take home after the wedding! We love babes and our venue was close to the Frisco location so it all made sense and it ended up working out perfectly. Thank you for making it easy for us and making it a yummy dinner at our wedding! - the VerWoerts

A bit of a wait, but totally worth it. Staff was friendly, food didn't take long, and everything tasted fresh. The restaurant is BYOB for a small cork fee, make sure to take advantage of that. We didn't have dessert, but we'll definitely be back to try that baklava that looked amazing.

Really great Greek food in a casual restaurant with pleasant and very welcoming service. When we come to eat, we are welcomed with a warm and friendly smile and atmosphere. We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Four of us arrived early and were told we couldn’t be seated until the other two in our party showed up — even though they were just a few minutes away and we were clearly ready to order. We explained that we were extremely hungry and willing to start ordering right away, but the staff refused to accommodate us in any way. Hospitality should be about making guests feel comfortable, especially when there's a clear willingness to order and not just "hold a table." Unfortunately, this lack of flexibility changed our mind to have dinner there and we left for another respectful restaurant.
Hadir A — Google review
Great Greek restaurant! The food here is tasty! I think the Greek fries are subpar compared to other Greek establishments that I have been to, but the other dishes like soulvaki and the gyro salad is great.

Love the food here at this place! The only thing that prevented me from giving all 5 stars is service. The staff is super nice but they are not very attentive. I've been here twice and both times, it was hard to flag anyone down to order more food. They kind of disappear once your first order arrives.

The food was amazing and customer service was great for the to go orders. My only concern is the pricing from the website and actual in store prices. Was so surprised and excited to find an authentic gyro in the state of texas that didn’t have red onions and lettuce. So thank you for that. Will visit again.

He shared wonderful stories about the local farmers who provide their fresh ingredients, adding a personal touch to our meal. To top it off, Niko graciously offered us a tour of the restaurant, revealing its fascinating history as a former home. We came to the Heritage table this past weekend and had a wonderful dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Noel was truly the best waitress we’ve had in the last decade. This place was absolutely amazing. Farm to table style restaurant with an awesome homey setting. Our server was very amazing and attentive and overall the food was absolutely delicious. The perfect environment for a beautiful date night. We got there a bit early so there weren't many people at first, but as others began to arrive, it didn't get very loud which is a big plus! The water was not the best, it seems they may need a better water filter as there was a high chlorine odor and taste. Overall, I would certainly recommend adding this spot to your list of places to check out for a amazing dinner!

Celebrated a landmark bday with a delicious dinner of fried green tomato appetizer & country fried chicken with spaetzle entree. Reservations were on the porch and the atmosphere felt intimate & cozy, like eating in a home kitchen & not worrying about getting all dolled up for a night on the town. Server was attentive and knowledgeable with recommendations. Love that everything is sourced locally or micro-locally. Tomatoes were lightly breaded & crisp & paired well with the relish. Chicken wasn't dry at all & the extra side order of grits was a generous portion. To top it all off, dessert was chocolate pie with ice cream, of course!

This is one of my go to special date night spots. I love the cozy feel of the old home converted into a restaurant. The service is always great, kind, attentive, and helpful. And the food… oh the food! It is carefully prepared, fresh, and delicious! The menu changes with the seasons so you have to be prepared to adapt if your favorite item isn’t served all year round. But it’s ok to try something new, you won’t be disappointed! I have had the pork chop a few times and it is so flavorful. The fried green tomatoes are a yummy appetizer that you don’t find at many restaurants. My husband had the Red Snapper and said it was one of the best he had ever had.

We were seated quickly, but didn’t get a server for at least 10-15 minutes. I actually went back to the host and asked if he could send someone over. Once the server came over things quickly changed. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and offered great suggestions for brunch. I also have to add our food came out quick and was very tasty. I would definitely recommend this place to others if you haven’t tried them before.

Went on a friday @4:00. Almost all tables empty except for a couple. Staff was courteous and seated us immediately. Drinks: Pure fire(they recommended) + Manhattan misfit Pure fire was spicy and well made but no flame to add smoky flavor! Manhattan was very basic and missing garnish. Lacking luxardo cherries + citrus peel. I spoke to the manager Emelie and asked why a 15$ drink was missing garnish and looks like they were out of it! Luxardo cherries are expensive and therein lack off any premium ingredients (if included in the menu) should be communicated to the customer upfront. Pure fire was ok but Manhattan not worth the price tag. She ultimately apologized and wanted to cover for the drinks but we denied politely since this was a constructive feedback and not doing it for freebies. Food: Wings(hot + Bulgogi) & fries - refried ,not juicy, dry. I still liked the subtle flavor of bulgogi though. Fries were fantastic and homemade dip was really good-Sweet with hint of spice. Hail queso + tortilla chips - Queso was ok. More veggies than cheese. Chips tasted store bought and not fresh. 5 stars for the staff - Emelie(she covered for side of fries :() and our server Nana. They both were very sweet and nice to talk to. We appreciate them. 2 - drinks 3 - food We will be back to give this place another try and see if there were any amends.

I recently dined at Mashd and was thoroughly impressed. The food was outstanding, with flavors that were rich, vibrant, and expertly crafted. Each dish was a delight, and the drinks were fresh and perfectly balanced, complementing the meal beautifully. Outside of the food, the service was exceptional. Emily, the manager, I believe, was phenomenal. Her customer service set such a high bar—she was truly a warm and inviting spirit, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Mashd for anyone looking for a memorable meal and impeccable service.

The avocado toast pizza is 5 star delish!!! And I loved the flower power cauliflower and the spinach and corn dip. The girls were happy with the kids burgers! My aunt tried the moonshine flight which was fun (recommended if you haven’t tried it!). The moonshines are pretty sweet, so expect the sweetness. I had the Pure Fire cocktail and loved it! The flambé sugar made the drink feel super specialty and it tasted great! Depending on how busy the area is, I could see parking be challenging and if you’re not familiar with the area Mash’d can be hard to find (not a lot of signage).

Had a nice time. I think the food was good. They have a really cute room for a large group. It needs some sound control because it was hard to hear but I liked it. I wish they had a better selection of beers but I enjoyed the house wine. Service was a bit slow but very good.

This was so yummy!! The portion size for the chicken sandwich was huge, and the fries had parsley sprinkled on them with was very tasty. The sauce in the pizza was flavorful with a perfect soft and crunchy base. Great spot for lunch or dinner. We enjoyed everything we got. Staff was pleasant and service was quick. Can’t go wrong with Mash’D!

We end up doing a lot of corporate events in Frisco. Every time we are here, we get to try different places. We have been to Mash’d many times before but it’s been mainly for lunch and dinner. This was the first time we came for breakfast/ brunch. I was a little nervous. But the staff was great and the food was just as good as it is for lunch and dinner.

Located at The Shops of Starwood, it provides an intimate setting for various occasions such as date nights, girls' night out, or after-work drinks. The restaurant's affiliation with the Rebellious American group ensures high-quality food and service.
This is a must try. It is a classy spot, great for after work drinks or dinner. The lighting created a nice ambiance in the restaurant that highlighted the decor. The service was phenomenal! Food was delicious and served hot and fresh. The crab dish was recommended by our waitress and it did not disappoint! I had The Argentine and the salmon was flavored so well. The dessert was a sweet treat that exceeded my expectations, the blueberry compote was not overly sweet and the lemon balanced the sweetness of the cake. Overall the meal left nothing to be desired.

Wonderful food! Great service! I enjoyed my visit here. The staff was absolutely wonderful. My favorite dish was the porkchop. Very well seasoned. The veggies were seasoned and cooked perfect as well. Went for a birthday and they gave the birthday girl a signed card along with cake! I was impressed.

My wife and I had an incredible experience at TruFire Kitchen & Bar for our date night. Although Friday night reservations are recommended, we were fortunate to walk in and get seated right away. We chose to sit on the patio, which turned out to be a hidden gem—unexpectedly beautiful, cool, and pleasant (especially for Texas in July!). The atmosphere was perfect—quiet enough to have a conversation and feel like it was just the two of us. We kicked things off with espresso martinis, and they were incredible—smooth, rich, and expertly crafted. Our server, Savanna, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. She made our evening even better. The food? Just WOW. We started with the Honey Burrata, which was a perfect blend of warm flatbread, creamy burrata, and sweet honey—absolutely delicious. The Mediterranean Shrimp Salad was equally impressive—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. Everything about the evening was top-notch. We’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend for a date night or any night!

Takeaway: Add it to your “Restaurant’s to Try” List. Splendid food and Amazing Service! We were a 7:15 reservation (getting a same day reservation was extremely easy). Service was prompt and enjoyable. It did slightly delay, but picked up shortly after and made for a swift and smooth departure - Bagged our food for us and payment was prompt. Rachel was extremely helpful in figuring out what is good/worth trying. It was fairly quiet and private(not too many people/we had corner seating for 2), BUT seating is fairly close so during a busy time, it’d probably be less enjoyable. The food was SO good. The Truman Mac is a heavy meal, but our server Rachel recommended adding shrimp or chicken (I added shrimp) to balance out the heaviness. The Meatball appetizer was just OOO. The sourdough had a beautiful crisp exterior and soft interior. The bread was the perfect amount of crunch and soft. We plan on visiting again to try more of the menu!

Got the chick pea salad with chicken! The food was absolutely delicious and the chicken was well seasoned. There was an interesting smell when first walking in which was a tad off putting, but I'm glad we stayed as the food was worth it.

I'm so glad we came here—this place is absolutely amazing, and I'm sure anyone who visits will feel the same way. The food is incredible. We kicked things off with the crab dip and pita bread, and it was a showstopper. The chicken burger and the salmon were also outstanding. Honestly, every dish was great and worth every single penny.

Steak house
Seafood restaurant
Dee Lincoln Prime is an upscale steakhouse located at The Star in Frisco, Texas. It offers a modern dining experience with prime beef, fresh seafood, and an extensive wine list. The restaurant features a 6-seat sushi bar and a wide selection of tequilas for pairing. Guests can enjoy the energy of the main bar or opt for a more intimate experience in the main dining room.
Ah, a dimly lit ambiance, perhaps a touch too noir for my discerning palate, but a mere whisper of criticism in an otherwise symphonic culinary experience. Let us speak of Sebastian, a veritable maestro of service! His presence, a delicate ballet of attentiveness and discretion, allowed the flavors to unfold without intrusion, a rarity in these bustling times. And the steak... mon dieu! To declare it among the top five of my storied gustatory adventures is no light pronouncement. It was a revelation, a profound articulation of beef in its most sublime form. A symphony of sear, a rhapsody of richness, a testament to the kitchen's artistry. But the mashed potatoes, crowned with king crab? Quelle surprise! A stroke of genius, a culinary sorcery that defied expectation! The creamy, comforting potatoes, elevated by the sweet, succulent embrace of king crab. A textural and flavor composition that danced on the tongue, leaving my wife and I utterly speechless. Eatzi's, Frisco, you have etched a vibrant, indelible mark upon these Atlantan palates. A culinary pilgrimage is now in order, a return to this bastion of gastronomic brilliance!

Geat food and service! Was a bit loud inside large dining room. We were in the Ring of Honor room that was quieter. Lobster bisque had big pieces of lobster and the Oscar sauce ony ribeye had lots of crab too!! Was cool to have sushi for appetizer and steak for entree. Chargrilled Oysters had a lot of cheese on them, was good but different from what I was used to.

I would like to preface my review by saying the wait staff is phenomenal. Extremely attentive and friendly. However everything else was pretty subpar and that was really disappointing as we had looked forward to our evening celebrating my birthday. The food tasted good but it was just lacking something. We both also ordered steaks which were NOT cooked correctly. My husband ordered rare and I ordered medium and both were well done, almost burnt on the ends. His steak was also EXTREMELY over peppered and it really took away from the flavor. The brussel sprouts and lobster Mac were good though. The atmosphere was not great either. There was a group next to us that was extremely loud and obnoxious that really took away from fully enjoying the ambiance. They seemed to be regulars as well as the wait staff knew their names. Overall i really wish we had gone somewhere else to celebrate my birthday. It was ridiculously overpriced (we spent $400 on dinner for 2) and the ambiance was not enjoyable. Like I said the only real positive about this place was the staff. I don't think we will be returning.
Bethany T — Google review
I was extremely unsatisfied with my experience. I ordered the king and bone (bone marrow, snow crab, and chips) appetizer. The chips were stale so I informed the waitress and she rolled her eyes at me. The replacement chips they brought out were crisp but bitter and burnt. I sent them back. Next, I had the au gratin on the side with the 16oz ribeye. The au gratin was just potato chunks, not the typical slices, Drenched in cheddar cheese. It was not good and I sent them back, the waiter I talked to had an attitude about me sending back the potatoes but they were seriously a low effort cheese potato casserole nothing like an au gratin (that ive had many times before). The sushi roll I got was okay, the ribeye was a bit too seasoned for my liking but otherwise good, and the lobster mac and cheese, miso seabass, and chocolate fudge redeemed the dinner. All in all expected much more from such an expensive establishment, the food was not worth the price in my opinion. Trust me I am willing to spend money for good food, but this was subpar compared to the price point and the service was disappointing.

I had an outstanding experience at Trick Rider! The service was truly top-notch, and the food was excellent. Crab & Crystals 🦀 💎 Let’s start with the ambience, because yes, they nailed it. You walk in and boom, there’s a crystal horse just hanging as the fabulous focus. It’s dramatic. It’s glamorous. It’s giving “yes, I sparkle and I’m expensive.” This is a 16-foot-long, 9-foot-high Swarovski crystal chandelier designed by Jeffrey Beers International, featuring 4,075 bohemian cut crystal beads and weighing 1,500 pounds. Now onto the food…specifically, the king crab! Life-changing. I’m not saying I fell in love, but I am saying if that crab proposed to me, I’d say yes without hesitation. Forget love languages, mine is clearly butter-drenched shellfish, and Trick Rider understood the assignment. Also, I ordered asparagus because I needed to pretend I’m a responsible adult who eats green things, and wow, I did not share. Not one spear. Don’t look at me like that; it was too good and frankly, I have no regrets. Pro tip? Ask for two orders of bread. Just do it. Trust me. You’ll thank me later when you’re hoarding it like it’s your last meal on Earth. It’s warm, it’s fluffy, it’s probably laced with magic. And, you have a plate of butter from your king crab. Show up hungry, leave dramatic. Just like that crystal horse would want.

Trick Rider – 5 Stars Trick Rider isn’t just a steakhouse—it’s an experience. The theme and design are impressive, and it fits right in at the Omni PGA in Frisco. My wife and I live local and dropped in for a date night. We sat at the bar, which is always the best way to get the vibe of a place—and this one delivered. The bartenders? Total pros. They handled nonstop drink orders for the whole restaurant with absolute precision. From cocktails to straight pours, everything came out smooth, fast, and well-crafted. It’s the kind of bar team that gives you confidence the whole place is running right. We enjoyed it so much we texted friends while still sitting there to set up a happy hour to come back. Now the food: We started with salads—her Caesar and my wedge (ranch instead of blue cheese, the way a ranch-style steakhouse should do it). Both were excellent and fresh. Steaks were next—ribeye for me, filet for her. I asked for mine “Pittsburgh style,” which is charred outside and rare inside—a hard cook to pull off. They nailed it. Flavors were a little different than expected—less buttery rosemary, more bold and slightly bitter spice—but still delicious. I ate every bite. If I had one minor gripe, it’s the attire. I expected golf wear at a PGA resort, but was surprised by the number of ball caps, T-shirts, and tennis shoes. We came dressed in sport coats and cowboy hats, and honestly, the space deserves that kind of respect. Bottom line: Trick Rider is a Frisco gem. Whether you’re local or just visiting the PGA, stop in for a drink or dinner. You won’t be disappointed.

Service was fantastic! Sadly though some of the food was sub par. The artichoke appetizer was WAY to charred. The beef tartare was awful, crazy crazy salty.......and yes, people.....I love salt!!! However, the broccolini was delicious and my husband's filet was also delicious. I had the King Crab.......let's face it, you can't mess up a King Crab....I just wish the portion was more! You essentially pay $80 for what a picky 2 year old child would eat !! Over all, we will absolutely be going back!!

The Omni PGA Frisco is a great destination spot even just for drinks in the lobby and out on the patio. Had a birthday celebration at Trick Rider. The 6 oz filet, whipped & potatoes were great. Mac & cheese was alright. The sides are "for the table" but honestly portions were small enough to be personal portions. Had the special birthday dessert with the fun giant candle. It was all kinds of yummy with ice cream and pop corn. Good spot for a one time special occasion or for hotel guests but don't plan to return as a local based on prices/portion sizes.

Restaurant
Nerdvana Food + Spirits in Frisco is a sleek and contemporary spot where guests can enjoy dining, drinking, and playing video games from their seats. The restaurant offers a unique blend of video and board game pop culture along with creative cocktails and delicious bites. Whether you're sipping on an Elven Elixir cocktail or indulging in chicken and shrimp pasta with Sonic Boom sauce, Nerdvana provides a one-of-a-kind experience.
I was impressed with the quality of the food and drink here, they clearly put a lot of work into it, even though the main attraction for the restaurant is the video game consoles and board games at the tables. The shrimp and grits and modified deviled eggs were extremely good, and the cocktails were very pleasant and well balanced. The service is good, and the place has a fun atmosphere, and plenty of space to bring groups of friends 😊

We had a great time. Would've been better if they'd have had more games options. The food was comparable to that of a star elite restaurant. The deviled eggs were so good they had to have been evil. If you're a party of three and have a appetizer, plan on spending at least a hundred bucks. So totally worth it. They also have a bar.

The hostess greeted us quickly with lots of energy and gave us some information about the restaurant we requested. Our server. Luke was great and took good care of us, glasses were never empty. Food arrived promptly and as ordered. The food was excellent and we came for the concept of playing video games or board games and a restaurant and was blown away by the quality of the food. The beef stroganoff had excellent flavor. The meat was buttery tender. The dragon's eggs are an absolute must order.

Nerdvana is fantastic! Great food and gaming nostalgia all in one spot. The Mac & Cheese Bites are a must. The Short Rib Poutine is incredible—add a fried egg and thank me later! Son & wife loved the quesadillas. Go try it!

I enjoyed my time here at Nerdvana. The Dragon Eggs were pretty good and the Poutine was decent as well. Although the prices might be a little high, it’s factored into the price of admission (minimum of $15). The staff was awesome and attentive. Making sure everything was good or if I needed anything else. Shoutout Lucas (sorry if that wasn’t your name, it was somewhat hard to hear.) I loved the decor and the little menu item names. I do have to say that the digital catalogue was very multiplayer favored, so it’s a great place for hangouts or dates. The music was a little loud, but overall was a great time.

There should be a location in every major city! The food is exceptional. Dragon Eggs were a great starter item. As my Powe Up was being prepared I shared a few laughs with my brother playing 2K22. The Ultimate Beef Stroganoff scored 10/10. The dish was flavorful, meat tender, served fresh, and offered a great ratio of beef to mushrooms. The portion size of both appetizer and main dish was generous. Luke was an excellent server. Thank you for making this first experience a great experience and I look forward to returning for Chicken and Biscuits or maybe Brick's Chicken. If you're a first time visitor bring board games or think about which system you'll want to be seated at. Yes! You system determines your table.

I loved it. I was looking where to go, Chat GPT recommended it to me, and it's truly the best restaurant I've been to in a long time. The service, prices, food, drinks everything was delicious. I recommend it 100%. It is another experience, something innovative and for all ages.

2nd time here. Got steak Frites FTW. It was listed as Ribeye but lacked the tail, Spinalis, and fat from a ribeye. They assured me it was just a ribeye cut and shaped, but it lacked marbling and flavor typical to a ribeye, and was subsequently tougher than expected. Regardless, they let me exchange it as I was disappointed and not eating it. The following Cuban was great, and their fries are excellent. When trying to get a board game, no one was at the station any time I went, and despite other server seeing me waiting there, no one made an effort to help me until I walked to the front and I got the hostess each time. I still think it's a great concept for a nice date, but for the money I spent I expected more. Would still recommend at least once.

Dallas Love Field is an airport that showcases a diverse range of permanent and rotating artwork, including sculptures and paintings. Located in the cosmopolitan city of Dallas, it is home to one of the largest LGBT+ communities in the United States, offering plenty of cool places to enjoy drinks and entertainment under rainbow flags. The city itself is known for its diversity, with various languages spoken on its streets and a mix of bustling downtown areas and family-friendly suburbs.
This was my first time flying into and out of this airport…it was a pleasant experience overall. I appreciate that it was hassle free to drop off my rental car. The rental car shuttle guy was courteous and kind! The TSA check in was fast. It was nice to have access to healthy food options. The bathrooms are clean and it is nice that they have free items for women <3

You would figure when a plane is sitting at the gate for 3+ hours, someone would figure out said plane would have an engine issue. Nope, not Southwest, they completely board the plane, back it up, and then figure it out. Meanwhile, we completely unload the plane, scramble everyone for new flights and now I'm seven hours late. Never again...

First, it’s an airport, once you accept that, it’s bad medium or great. This is medium good. Dallas traffic is as bad as LA. The airport is a nice little place once you get in there. The even have a Maggiano’s, one of our favorite restaurants in Chicago, St. Louis, & in this airport (Philly and a couple more places we’ve visited.) that gets a Star!

I was flying out of Dallas using Southwest airlines and this is a great airport. I got dropped off when using the route 5 bus and the curbside main entrance to the terminal building is tiny. But when I got inside, it was not busy and I got through security in about 5 minutes. And due to the small size, the airport is very easy to navigate. Even though it's kind of small compared to DFW, there are still some good places to eat inside. Overall this is a great airport.

Currently here on a layover delay. The airport itself is nice, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. One thing I really appreciate is the variety of restaurants—there’s no shortage of places to grab a bite. It is a bit crowded right now due to delays, and the interior layout can feel a little tight when it gets busy, but overall it’s a solid and comfortable airport to be stuck in.
Sophoan Y — Google review
I’ve used this airport a handful of times now. Southwest is most prominent airline. They have curbside check-in for $3. Plenty of kiosks for checking in inside. It’s relatively small so not a lot of people and not too busy, compared to a full size one. If you are running late, it’s a shorter distance to trek to the gate. Plenty of food options too. They have Whataburger and some fancy bars as well. Staff is friendly. Strict but not rude.

I don’t understand why this airport has 4.5 stars!! From the getting out of the car the security directing traffic were playing and goofing off!!! Then had the audacity to Yell at my dad for helping us unload our luggage and baby stroller and car seat. They didn’t direct traffic at ALL. Also I have been to several airports and not once charged a concierge fee on top of my baggage fee for curbside check in. Then the guy who checked us in was a complete jerk when I simply asked why we were being charged on top of the baggage fee. He said you didn’t read the sign!!! Ok well you read all the signed when you are being yelled at by security have awkward baby gear and luggage and a mother who is handicapped. If you are going to charge me the concierge price at least help us or have staff to help us. This airport sucks and is beyond greedy!!! Here is the sign for all those whom need to see it prior to your next departure.

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport

International airport
Airport
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is a massive complex spanning over 17,000 acres and serving North Texas. It offers direct rail service to Dallas and features the Founders Plaza Observation Station, providing visitors with a view of the airport's 2,300 daily takeoffs and landings. The observation area includes long-distance binoculars, parking, a graph board for identifying aircraft, speaker systems broadcasting audio from the Control Tower, and four picnic areas.
I fly frequently and love reviewing airports. DFW is one of my regular layovers when traveling from the west to east coast. DFW is a big airport that you need a tram to get between terminal A through E. The tram arrives every couple minutes and is easy to use. There are plenty of restaurants/fast food, vending machines, charging stations and restrooms throughout. I’m most familiar with terminal A. The employees at the American Airline gates are very helpful and efficient. If you have any questions I’m happy to answer them if I can. Happy Traveling!
Michelle — Google review
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the country, but despite the heavy traffic, my experience there was smooth and surprisingly stress-free. Getting to the terminal was easy, and the layout is well-organized, which made the entire arrival process straightforward. One of the highlights of DFW is the Skylink service, which is excellent. The automated train system is fast, efficient, and makes traveling between terminals a breeze. Even though the airport is massive, Skylink takes away the stress of navigating long distances. The airport itself is clean, modern, and very well maintained. There are plenty of places to eat and shop, offering everything from quick bites and coffee shops to sit-down restaurants and well-known retail brands. It makes layovers or waiting times much more enjoyable with so many options to choose from. Despite being such a large and very busy airport, it never felt chaotic. The signage is clear, the staff is helpful, and the overall organization makes it easy to find your way around. Pros: - Smooth and stress-free terminal access - Excellent Skylink train service between terminals - Clean, organized, and modern facilities - Wide variety of food and shopping options - Clear signage and helpful staff Things to note: - It’s a major hub, so it can get crowded at peak times Overall: DFW Airport offers a great travel experience. Even with its size and busy atmosphere, the efficiency, cleanliness, and amenities make it stand out as one of the better large airports in the U.S.

Dallas Airport is a cool hub. Food is excellent here. Easy to navigate and it's huge which is a deterrent for me as a travel lover but signs are everywhere if you pay attention to your boarding pass you will figure it out. They have electric carts for those who need assistance going from one gate/terminal to another. I'm mainly mentioning on this review the two places I ate: Pappadeux and Little Maggiano's I firmly recommend. Airport food should be part of a pleasant journey. And these two restaurants elevate your travel experience.

DFW was my home airport for most of my life...after retiring and flying even more I fully appreciate DFW Airport. Large enough for just about every airline in the world the airports multiple terminals are connected by a post-TSA, free tram system that runs constantly. With so many airlines the airport is also home to many club lounges. From the Capital One Lounge to the many Admiral's Clubs and so many in between for a respite away from the crowds. Weather and thunderstorm delays are common in spring and summer. Always a good idea to be in and out of DFW earlier in the day rather than late and face cascading issues.

Massive airport. Be ready to take the Skylink train to get to your terminal—it’s fast, but definitely not the smoothest ride. The floors throughout in the Skylink could use a more consistent cleaning as well, which detracts a bit from the overall experience. That said, the airport offers a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and shops across all terminals, which helps pass the time if you have a layover.

If you're looking for the ultimate in airport convenience, accessibility, and luxury amenities, DFW's Terminal D (the International Terminal) is it. Home to a collection of top-tier lounges including The Centurion Lounge, Capital One Lounge, Flagship Lounge, and more offering abundant seating, premium food, and best of all, shower suites for long layovers! Use the Skylink train post-security for fast, easy connections to every other terminal. Enjoy bright, comfortable concourses, a diverse mix of international dining and shopping (including Duty-Free), and dedicated support for accessibility (like the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program). Terminal D is truly built for the modern global traveler. Skip the arrival terminal crowds and head straight for the international gateway!

DFW is a great international airport to arrive at or fly from! It's spacious and big, which is befitting of an airport in The Great State of Texas, and also very "Texas friendly" as well. One feature that I enjoyed is the "Skylink" which connects all of the gates. It's an airport that I'll look forward to returning to again!
