The Mustangs of Las Colinas Sculpture and Museum and Visitors Center

Sculpture
Sights & Landmarks
The Mustangs of Las Colinas Sculpture and Museum is a breathtaking tribute to the spirit of wild mustangs, featuring an impressive outdoor installation of nine bronze horses that seem to leap through water. This remarkable equestrian sculpture is one of the largest in the world and truly shines at night when illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere in Williams Square Plaza. Adjacent to this stunning artwork is a museum that showcases exhibits about the artist and includes a captivating film.
This whole little “park” area is super cool, with a variety of restaurants and fountains all around. I made my girls go see the mustangs b/c they are so iconic. I remember when Las Colinas first was built and these statues were a big deal! Great area to just sit and chill - especially on a nice evening.

The Mustangs of Las Colinas is truly a breathtaking landmark! The bronze sculptures are massive and beautifully detailed, capturing the energy and motion of the wild mustangs as if they’re galloping right through the water. It’s one of those rare places where art, history, and nature all come together perfectly. The plaza is peaceful, with plenty of spots to sit, reflect, and take photos. At night, the lighting gives the statues a dramatic effect that’s just as stunning as during the day. Parking nearby is easy, and it’s centrally located in the Las Colinas area, making it a quick and worthwhile stop whether you’re visiting or local. Highly recommend stopping here. It’s a free, unique Texas experience that leaves a lasting impression!
Venita N — Google review
We went specifically to see this sculpture and it's incredible. Not some rusting, abstract art piece that looks like a post-apocalyptic building, but real art that inspires. The larger than life equestrian herd is frozen in time as they ran through a body of water. The splashes of their hooves continue to move and every muscle and expression is evident. Take your time and walk around to see the entire scene from each angle. It's incredible.
Architype — Google review
It’s refreshing to walk along the horses in a clean and safe place. Reminds me a little of Singapore.
Ethan L — Google review
stunning bronze sculpture of nine wild mustangs—about 1.5 times life size—galloping through a shallow watercourse in Williams Square Plaza, Las Colinas, Irving. Created by African wildlife sculptor Robert Glen, it was commissioned in 1976 and installed in 1984 as the centerpiece of this urban‑center development
Priyanshu K — Google review
Beautiful sculptures. Makes me glad horses aren't THAT large; they would be terrifying, yet majestic. Beautiful!
Tashundra B — Google review
We got there after hours but got to see the mustang sculptures, which is the main thing we wanted to see. It was 105F and we had the sculptures to ourselves. I suppose some people play in the water, but we weren't sure, so we didn't.
B P — Google review
We drove by this place and couldn't resist stopping to explore. The statues are impressive, with their large and beautiful forms, and the water features create the illusion that they are truly crossing a river. I highly recommend checking them out.

Art center
Concerts & Shows
Located in Irving, TX, the Irving Arts Center houses two theaters that are designed to accommodate a wide variety of ability levels. The center also has an art gallery and various programs that support the arts.
Wonderful center. Their galleries are open in the day for free for viewing. I went to see the " We Call it Ballet Sleeping Beauty" performance. Very easy to enter building. Everyone guided you to your section. Restrooms were easy to find. Very friendly staff. Great theatre that there is no bad seat. Its not humungous but for that reason every seat has a great view. I sat in Section C ( out of A Being closes to stage. Then B then C last D ) I will return for a show here again knowing I can get a great seat.
Angelica — Google review
Attended a Candlelight Concert at the Irving Arts Center. Parking was very easy and convenient. While the view of the stage was good no matter where you sat it lacked the ambiance of other venues. Overall the experience was OK. But I think I will stick to some of the other Candlelight concert locations.
Private — Google review
Very nice venue overall. The staff is very friendly and willing to help out guide the guests in the correct direction. They also have an art gallery on site, that makes spending time in the center quite enjoyable. From what I could see, the Theatre also has pretty good sound and lightning. Additionally, it has its own free parking lot, which also is beneficial for the guests.
Oscar F — Google review
Great place for small scale concerts. Sound quality was good but I could hear compression in the high frequencies. It would have better if the mixing engineer set the volume a little lower.
Fawad N — Google review
Nice, small spot to enjoy some art. Coming from a tiny town in East Texas, to me this is like finding an oasis! I'm here today to delight myself with classical dance and music from Sleeping Beauty, brought by 'We call it Ballet '
David M — Google review
Overall great experience! Music was amazing, and the venue perfect. This was our 2nd Candelight Concert, and we will definitely attend more. A must see!
Nick M — Google review
It was an amazing musical experience so if you’re hesitating don’t. We took our 8 year old son and I was stressed a bit about him not sitting quietly through the hour but he surprised us both with minimal complaining. Loved the ABBA vs Queen event we booked and will definitely try to see more of them.
Carole S — Google review
I recently visited this venue for a Candlelight concert. In case you were wondering it was ABBA vs Queen. Queen was the clear winner! The Arts Center was nice when it came to seating and parking. I do not think that there is a bad seat in the house. But what it does lack is the intimacy of the other venues that are a part of the Candlelight Concert series. Would I come back, yes. But I much prefer the other concert locations.

Toyota Music Factory

Mentioned on
13 lists
Live music venue
Concerts & Shows
Located in the vibrant Las Colinas neighborhood of Irving, Texas, the Toyota Music Factory is a premier entertainment destination that opened its doors with a ZZ Top concert. This expansive complex features a 210,000-square-foot space housing various dining and retail options, including the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema and a bowling alley. The centerpiece of the venue is the Pavilion, an indoor music theater with 4,000 seats that can expand onto a spacious lawn for additional seating.
This is an awesome venue. The seating was plentiful and we could see clearly from where we were at. We were about 20th row back. The acoustics are great. We went to see Nashville Tribute along with some other small artists, and I tell you, this venue is great. Obviously there's always issues with the restrooms, so sneak in there during the actual performance 😁 or be creative on when to go. The check-in process was fairly quick and that was good. I appreciate it the way they were respectful of searching our bags and going through the metal detectors. Overall, I like this location. I've never been before but I will go again.
Joey P — Google review
The positives We sat in the VIP section, which was really nice and very expensive. The waiter for our section was great, and it was a great luxury to have him there. Parking was expensive but worth the cost. The sound was great, and all seats have a clear view of the stage. The negatives When the back doors are open to include the lawn seats, it gets hot inside. This probably would have been okay if they had turned on those big fans above the crowd. I can understand not wanting to run the air-conditioning just yet, but people were complaining about sweating. The only water available is 7 dollars a can, so that's probably why they let you swelter a bunch. The artist we saw didn't play very many hits, but that's not the music factories fault. All in all, it was a good night but very expensive.
Charles H — Google review
Beautiful! My husband and I went to see Alabama Shakes and we stayed in the lawn. I do recommend getting there about an hour before the show starts if you want a good lawn spot! My only niche was the price point on the drinks, it was $25-$36 (after tip) for each drink we purchased. One was a souvenir cup so that could also explain one price point. Also bring a blanket! And triple check your bag size, i had an unique pea shaped fanny pack that was the correct size but because of the details on the outside, they almost made me toss it.
Skylar A — Google review
I’ve been to a few concerts here and getting a lawn ticket isn’t bad! You are able to bring your own blanket to have a space to sit, stand, or dance around while still being able to hear the performers and see the concert. 🎶 The drink vendors are all nearby and there’s multiple available bathrooms if you need to go. The food and parking pricing is as expected for concerts and stadium pricing, so plan accordingly! Getting into the venue was fairly organized as well!
Arianna R — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Toyota Music Factory in Irving is such a great venue! This was my second time visiting, and both experiences were top notch. The first time, I came out to see Chris Rock, and this time I went for a concert with Eladio Carrión – both shows were amazing! The sound system is booming, the atmosphere is lively, and there isn’t a bad seat in the house. The whole setup makes it easy to enjoy a night out, from the great food and bar options nearby to the energy of the crowd inside. Definitely one of my favorite spots in DFW for live entertainment. I’ll be coming back again and again!
Jessie C — Google review
This is a great concert venue that doesn't have a bad seat. Even if you sit on the lawn you will be comfortable and still enjoy yourself. I will definitely return in the near future. The drink prices are reasonable as well. Parking was convenient but pricey of course.
Octavia W — Google review
Attended a concert there. Sat on the lawn and was pleased. We had to rent chairs since we weren’t allowed to bring them. The website said you could t bring blankets but many people did. The drinks were expensive and food options were very basic. Overall, this is a great concert venue.
Shae B — Google review
Although very similar in style, this is the preferred concert venue for me. Far better than Dalld Fair Park. Parking is far easier. A lot of nice dining options nearby. Amenities are better. Music sounds amazing here. Like anywhere, drinks, food, and merch are far over priced.

Ruth Paine House Museum

Specialty Museums
The Ruth Paine House Museum, located in Irving, Texas, is a restored suburban 1960s house that holds historical significance as the place where Lee Harvey Oswald stayed the night before assassinating John F. Kennedy in 1963. The museum offers guided tours and multimedia galleries that provide insight into the cultural and historical impact of the house.
This was a very interesting and lovingly maintained piece of history. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and he answered all our questions. The house is literally like walking back in time. The holograms are well done and lend to the overall haunting but amazing feel of the site. I recommend seeing this as an important part of your Dallas history trip.
Patrick’s A — Google review
The storytelling and the tour took me to the time in the 1960s. The story of Ruth Paine and her unwavering friendship with Marina Oswald that both did not only drastically changed their lives that one Friday, but also America. My tour guide was an amazing well-versed storyteller that brought the story to life, and the house tour was magnificent that will leave you imagine how the lives of Ruth and Marina were then in the 60s before the tragic assassination of JFK that tremendously affected their lives. I wish I could remember my tour guide's name so I can commend how awe-inspiring his story was. He also patiently waited for me. I was late for my scheduled tour, I wouldn't suggest to be late, though, he was nice to take extra time to fill in those few minutes that were lost. Also, the staff at the Archive Museum were hospitable and wonderful. If you were in Irving, TX or in Dallas for a visit, or even if you live in the area, take the time to schedule a tour to this little piece of history of America.
Catherine J — Google review
Excellent tour by Kevin. $12 is a bargin. Start at the archive bldg E of City Hall. Four times a day. Van ride to the completely authenic renovated home to the 1963 era. Many well done acted events on 3d? screens.
Dana S — Google review
Went on a tour of the Ruth Paine house this morning over in Irving and it was really fascinating! I'd consider myself as having a casual interest in the story surrounding the JFK assassination back in 1963, but I still found the tour to be very interesting. The house itself, from an interior design viewpoint is captivating, and being able to walk through a home that is basically a time capsule to the 60s was riveting. I was especially impressed with the knowledgeable tour guide, Kevin. He did an excellent job pointing out details and his storytelling skills are tops! He really made it come to life. On top of that, there are projected scenes playing in a few of the rooms that help capture the energy of what happened with the Oswalds that fateful November. Highly recommend making a reservation and adding this stop to your JFK tour of Dallas!

Ruth Paine passed away Aug 31, 2025....she would have turned 93 tomorrow, Sept 3rd, 2025. The City of Irving has created an amazing museum tribute to Ruth Paine!😇 Anyone interested in the events of that awful weekend in November 1963 definitely needs to tour this amazing historic re-creation👍 (my own photo from 11-1-2024)
Scott W — Google review
This tour was awesome. We had our own guide and he was very very knowledgeable. He was kind enough to answer all of our questions!! I highly recommend this! If you are taking the JFK tour and don't fit this in, you are missing out.
Tonya B — Google review
For anyone interested in the events surrounding the assassination of JFK on Nov. 22, 1963, a visit to the Ruth Paine House Museum on 2515 W 5th Street in Irving, Texas, is definitely a must see. The City of Irving, its history consultants, and every one of the officials involved in preserving this piece of history are to be highly commended. Our guide, Kevin Kendro (also Project Archivist), was extremely informative in providing the history and background of the Paine and Oswald families and how the historical events of the assassination played out to forever affect the destinies of each of its members. He also showed us how every effort was made to make the house and its contents just as it was in November, 1963, via matching curtains, appliances, etc. from old family photos provided by Ruth Paine. Videos featuring actors portraying these family members added to the informative experience. The only thing I would add is clarification as to where the tour starts during the purchase of tickets for visits to The Ruth Paine House Museum. Visitors need to know that they are to meet the guide for the tour at the house itself (parking is ample) and NOT at the Irving Archives & Museum location (assuming tickets were already purchased online in advance). This is not made clear on the website and thus I had to call for clarification so as to not be late for the tour. It is my understanding that at one time, shuttle buses were used to take visitors to the house from the Irving Archives & Museum site but this is no longer being done.
Captain L — Google review
If you have a keen interest in the JFK assassination and the Oswald/Paine connections, this tour is a must. If you don't, read the history on the Web and then take it in. You won't regret it. The City of Irving should be commended for preserving this vital, albeit tragic, link to history. On my trip in 2021, I was the lone visitor for the first 30 minutes on the weekday morning I went, and Kevin was there providing information, answering questions, and allowing me to proceed at my own pace. A year later, I brought my son along and it was just as riveting, with Kevin as the guide again. The holographic presentations in several rooms add greatly to the experience. As with the Sixth Floor Museum and Dealey Plaza, this is a rare chance to stand in a spot where history was made and ponder a variety of "What if's.''

A wonderful museum with a lot of history and stories through the Bear Creek community
Aaron M — Google review
While exploring West Irving, I came across the Jackie Townsell Bear Creek Heritage Center/Museum and was instantly intrigued. It felt like walking straight into a piece of living history. The museum offers tours by appointment only, so walk-ins aren’t available. The experience is impactful and thoughtfully curated, honoring African-American history through the powerful stories and enduring legacies of the local Bear Creek community. Three Restored Buildings, Three Powerful Stories: The museum is composed of three restored structures, each now serving as a museum that illuminates a different facet of Bear Creek’s past: The Bear Creek Masonic Lodge: This museum greets you with a powerful audio-visual experience that explores both the Bear Creek Community and the history of African American history in Irving. The narration is warm and informative; some stories were new to me, others were a meaningful refresher. The J.O. Davis House: This museum dives into the lived experiences of Bear Creek residents, with the Josey O. Davis House serving as a former residence of its namesake. One exhibit that stood out was the story of Ola Howard, a local woman who helped Black women access fashion during segregation. Since African Americans were prohibited from shopping in Irving stores, a downtown dress shop owner gave dresses to Ms. Howard, who then displayed them in her home’s window so Black women could browse and buy. Seeing a few of those dresses recreated in the window, just as they were in the 1950s, was incredibly poignant. The Green House: This museum, once home to Sam Green, is thoughtfully restored with period furnishings like a cast iron stove, vintage bedroom set, and floral wallpaper—each detail capturing the rhythm of daily life in Bear Creek during the 1920s.

I used to live in this area several years back. It's a great place to walk, run or bike to get exercise, to see various bird, or to take a gondola ride. It has great restaurants. And it's a great area to live, attend concerts and socialize with friends and family.

CT native visiting in March 2024 and found this area to be beautiful. As others noted, lots of restaurants, beautiful homes, lots of folks walking, running, enjoying the outdoors. But please note. In AllTrails it says it's a loop, it's not in that in some areas the trail just ends so you need to figure out where to pick it up again. On my stroll I saw an area where you can rent pedal boats, spots for coffee, people watching, romantic strollers, dog walkers, kids enjoying family time. Overall, it was clean, I felt safe, and it was a quiet place.

Visitors can enjoy romantic sunset rides and imagine themselves in Venice as they cruise through the waterways. The company provides various options for private tours, including dessert, pizza, breakfast, and Italian dinner cruises.
Gondola adventures has been a staple of the lake Carolyn/Mandalay Canals area for years now! It’s a very awesome place where you can get a boat ride through the canals and have Gondoliers sing songs to you while you eat Italian food, sip champagne, and eat dessert! They also have proposal packages! And believe me it is a great option to get the bottle drop for your proposal where your significant other can read a note in a bottle before you propose. They also offer Drone and Photography to capture the moment! If you want something, a little more chill and low-key, they also own a boat rental company on the lake, where you can rent paddle boards, kayaks, and a duck/swan boats!

I had such a fun and memorable time with Gondola Adventures! From start to finish, the experience felt like a little escape right on the water. My gondolier, Woody, was incredible. His voice was absolutely amazing and gave the whole ride a true Italy vibe. He also had such great conversation, making it feel warm, comfortable, and personal the entire way. One of the highlights was the fresh charcuterie box paired with cold, sparkly apple cider. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and refreshing. It was the perfect addition to enjoy while taking in the peaceful surroundings. Between the beautiful setting, the authentic Italian feel, and Woody’s talent and hospitality, it was an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for something unique, relaxing, and special to do, this is it. I would 100% do it again!

It’s a great lake side walking trail. If you complete 1 round walk then it will be enough for the day. I went late so I did not get a chance for boating but other than this I satisfied myself and my wife too.

This was a beautiful anniversary surprise from my boyfriend! Shout out to my man and Gondola Adventures for this special memory! We took tour with Jacob, he was very polite and took great pictures for us during the boat tour and served us great food prior to departing. If you go I'd suggest taking a ride in the afternoon, it's very peaceful to experience alone or with your partner. Thanks again for this experience!

What an amazing adventure! Super romantic and tranquil. I surprised my husband to celebrate his birthday, and he loved it! We arrived early, so we walked around and took a few pictures. Check in was easy, our Gondolier Pedro was amazing. He directed us to his gondola Princesca, he was friendly and a great singer! I loved that he sang Happy Birthday for my husband in Portuguese ♡. The whole ride was just amazing! The weather was perfect (right at Sunset). It's definitely worth it. Nothing negative about it!

What an experience! My sis & I decided to take a gondola ride and I am so glad we did. Woody was phenomenal. He was so nice and kind and sang! We enjoyed his singing and a time was had with him as our “captain” of the gondola we cruised on. The scenery is stunning and I can’t wait to cruise again! So much fun!

Stand Up Paddle North Texas

Water sports equipment rental service
Stand Up Paddle North Texas, located on the Mandalay Canal, offers a great experience for families looking to enjoy the popular water sport. They provide a variety of pedal boats, kayaks, and paddles for rent, along with umbrellas to shield from the summer sun. Visitors can explore the scenic route around the canal and enjoy a peaceful and cool experience on the water. The owners are friendly and helpful, providing assistance even for pets joining in on the paddle boarding fun.
My mother and I, swayed by the cute photos of people pedaling around in giant rubber duckies, decided to give this a try. Despite it being almost 90 degrees out, despite it being more windy than expected, we had a lot of fun. We weren't able to get one of the cute ducks but we got a very pretty swan boat instead. There are two sets of pedals, one on each side, and a lever to steer the boat. It was a little harder to pedal than I expected, I think due to the wind, but it was very fun. We took short breaks to just enjoy being on the water but you have to be careful because you *will* drift. If I recall correctly, you're given about 45-50 minutes, told which routes to stick to and to give right of way to the gondolas (and of course to watch out for other boats). You are provided with life jackets. The staff were very nice and helpful. We'd love to go back during a cooler part of the year and do it again.

This was a fun experience from some who is surrounded by lakes! It was great to paddle in a loop and still see the new builds in the area! It was 97 degrees out but being out on the open water felt great! There’s also plenty of shaded areas too and a cute little water fall!

Would of loved to have a working duck today. Took my daughter out for this activity for our mommy daughter date. It wasn't what it needed to be. The petals jammed the whole time. So we wasn't able to go very far.Something was also wrong with the gear that turns the boat left/right. Our go to person thank us for the feedback and would relay the issues on to the manager. Other than that, me and my baby girl made the best of it. This wasn't my first rodeo I had a better experience with a similar setup on the east coast. It may have been just our duck. So aim for the swans or the basic paddle boats. It's a better experience when everything is working.

Great experience/great area. Owner and workers very nice. Got us ready and launched within minutes of arriving. Very relaxing. Easy parking lot to get to and walk down to the shack/launch area.

Brianna was so kind in getting us set up in a swan boat (that we named Darren). It was a super fun experience, but if it’s hot out definitely remember to bring water! The complimentary umbrellas helped a lot though 🙏🏼

We had a great time, wasn't very busy on the water or around the area it was a Sunday. Gentlemen was very nice that set us up with out paddle boards and offered us complimentary waters mutiple times while out paddle boarding.

Awesome experience!!! My boyfriend and I went to visit this place last week. The owner is super nice is friendly. We didn’t now how to do at all, but the owner is really friendly and he taught us everything about it!!! The view is awesome! But Texas’s summer is too hot tho! LOL. We took lots of pictures and spent one hour! We love this experience and highly recommended!!!

AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME activity to celebrate National Daughters Day. They participated in the two-hour paddle board experience while I kayaked. The owner was very engaging. After a couple of strokes we were on our way! One mile around the main curve. Intimidating at first, but very doable. Great scenery, cool waters, and very peaceful on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. They absolutely want to do this again. And, we will! Only next time we’ll try all seven (7) miles!

Fine dining restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Irving, Via Real Restaurant has been a beloved dining destination since the mid-1980s. Under the ownership of Fran Lively, who stepped in to save it from closure, this charming eatery showcases a stunning Santa Fe-inspired ambiance that perfectly complements its menu filled with mouthwatering Southwestern and Tex-Mex dishes.
I had the pleasure of a business diner at via real. Our host for the evening recommended an off menu item - the sea bass. The plate was fantastic, the potatoes in the pineapple was novel and brought sweetness to the dish. The fish was perfectly cooked and delicious. Will be my go to next time for certain.

Great place to dine! We went with family to celebrate 2 birthdays & an anniversary. The food was amazing with excellent service. Definitely a Southwestern feel & lovely setting. The co-owner of the restaurant stopped and introduced himself and even told us about the history of the restaurant. The ambience & atmosphere was fantastic & they even provided a free photo of us to take home. We really enjoyed ourselves & highly recommend. What a pleasant dining experience. We will definitely return.

Excellent experience at this restaurant! The service was really good and the food was amazing. The red oak steak was really something else. If you eat steak, I would encourage you to try this house special. We also enjoyed some appetizers and desserts. The desserts were extremely delicious and decadent. Highly recommend.

We were stuck in dalls due a missed flight and decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary here last night and it did not disappoint. Our server Andrea was amazing and really made us feel special, with her conversations, recommendations and the personalized photo and dessert. All the staff was great and so was the ambiance. Thank you!

We have been coming here for years. The food is consistently good. The ambiance is very warm and comfortable. The service is excellent. We feel blessed to have this as our local restaurant. We highly recommend the Sunday brunch. I also recommend whatever the specials are because the chef has made the choice of what is fresh and really given thought as to how to cook it.

What can I say?!? Went here as it was near by and good reviews. I’ve been in hospitality for most of my life, and had one of the greatest dining experiences here tonight. Literally asking the valet Gus, to see if there was any availability, which he was so personable and welcoming, he told us there was space available at the bar. The GM, Matt welcomed us inside and the hostesses sat us in the bar. Matt introduced us to Jimmy the bar manager and the bar staff, and they took fantastic care of us. The salsa was fresh and balanced with flavor and light heat. Entrees were executed perfectly with layers of flavor and not over the top. Service was impeccable, friendly, and attentive. Ambiance was near perfect with elegant lighting, space between the tables, the smell of New Mexico when you walk in, and noise level was minimum. Highly recommend Via Real. We’ll be back.

Argentinian restaurant
Empa Mundo, also known as World of Empanadas, is a casual counter-service restaurant in Irving that has been serving up delicious empanadas since 2010. Owned and operated by Argentinian expat Raul Gordon, this eatery offers a concise menu featuring 13 empanada options with flavors ranging from classic Latin American to American-influenced recipes like cheesesteak and Texas brisket.
This is the best empanada place in Texas. The customer service is excellent. The empanadas are delicious and savory every bite. Anytime that we have visitors come to DFW, we take them to this place and they always want more. You can’t go wrong with any of them, but my favorite is the brisket and the chicken flavored one. For dessert, you cannot forget to get a guava flavored one.
Dr. F — Google review
I wanted to like this place so bad but sadly I won't be back. I'll start with the good. Service friendly & fast. Moving on.... sewage scent when you first walk in. I thought I'd like it based on the review score but it was just ok to me. I'm not their target audience as Keith Lee says. Lol And based on the reviews, I'm sure they'll continue to have plenty of business. I however, wish I could've gotten my money back honestly. The French fries were not salted but still oddly very bland. Even without salt typically French fries have a fried potato taste. These didn't. They were tasteless. The strawberry cheesecake emp had an slight fishy taste. I don't know if that's because they use the same grease as everything else but it just tasted odd. I didn't like the alfajor or pineapple cookies ...too dry and hard for my liking and the Texas twinkie and brisket ones were just ok. She confused my Texas twinkie for the strawberry cheesecake so there was powdered sugar on it and nothing on the actual strawberry cheesecake one. I feel like they charge too much for what you get but most places have to do that these days because of inflation so I get it but twenty bucks for four of these that I would consider snack size is just too much to me.

The food here is an absolute must try if you live in Dallas, and if you're lucky enough to have a long layover while you're traveling through town, you have to make this a stop. it seems like such a small, out of the way place, but there is love in this food. I am so lucky to live as close to the shop as I do. I come in all the time and it's been my mission to try everything on the menu at least once. I swear I get a new favorite almost every time I go in. Mimi is absolutely wonderful, she'll remember your name and everything about you and loves to take the time to come out and chat in between orders if she can.

Amazing service. The lady working was so kind and helpful. It's always great to shares laughs at a great business like this. Incredible food and each empanada is worth trying. I can't recommend this place enough

Insanely good. Best I’ve ever had. The guava cheese for dessert was 💯 and the chimichurri sauce is a must for the savory empanadas.

I love this place. It hasn’t changed one bit in the last 10 yrs I’ve been going here. The empanadas are authentic and so is their chimichurri. My favorites are the Criollo and the Chipotle chicken.

Fantastic food destination! A must go! Wonderful made empanadas, fresh ingredients, crispy exterior, yummy! Super organized menu and love the wipeable pencil concept.
Thelma G — Google review
I went in there with great expectations. Needless to say they were shot down! The empanadas cost was 4.89 for one and it was very small and fries had no seasoning on them at all. One time customer that’s it!

The steak is a standout, cooked to perfection every time, and my partner raves about the tamahawk pork chops. The wine selection is extensive and well-curated, and the cocktails are expertly crafted. A small detail that elevates the experience is the warm salsa – a delightful touch that speaks to the restaurant's attention to detail. While Hugo's Invitados is certainly a splurge-worthy destination, the quality of the food, drinks, and service make it worth every penny. It's the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression, making it an ideal choice for a memorable first date or a recurring favorite for couples seeking a consistently excellent dining experience. Food was decent.. my poached eggs along with everything included was an odd combination of flavors… the sweet salad dressing along with eggs and potatoes were a little funky for my preference Everyone else enjoyed their meals but I’m speaking on behalf of my experience The chips and salsa were good The waitress struggled to keep up with our needs and I had to walk to her to let her know we were ready to pay

Wow! I was blown away by the food here. The Barbacoa was to die for. The green and red salsa was simply delicious. For the main coarse, the care asada was just hit a grand slam with my taste buds. My business colleague was equally amazed by the excellent sustenance before him. Hugo, keep doing what you do!

Delicious & awesome Service. I came to visit from NJ and take my sister out for her birthday. I had a strawberry lemon drop that was amazing & she had a blue berry mocktale. From appetizers to the meal 10/10 perfect portions, flavor was not too spicey but fun filled. Definitely recommended . S/O to Carlos - really appreciate the hospitality

Talk about a swank little place! Everything about the decoration and vibe speaks to me and sold me on this place. Customer service was great - especially for a big party of 12. If you're not too worried about heat, they had their own DJ playing jams outside. The food was also not to disappoint. Yes I know... a little on the $$$ side, but the quality and flavor surely met expectations. Even the kids breakfast tacos came with 2 large tacos. If you're in the hood and wanting to show off to your date or just want to enjoy a fun brunch spot with your friends and ok to go a little over budget - this is the place.

Located at the Water Street development on Lake Carolyn, the restaurant provides a beautiful waterside patio with stunning views.
So glad we came here for dinner. Service was top notch! The food is beautiful and the flavors are amazing and I would say fairly original. That salmon dip was an unexpectedly amazing experience. Definitely give it a try. This restaurant has a great atmosphere and decor, so it's a good option for business, dates, or celebrations. There is plenty of variation in seating arrangements and styles, including outdoor seating. Check it out!

I always love coming back to this place, it never disappoints. The seafood is consistently fresh and perfectly prepared, with each dish showcasing authentic flavors. Love the Coleslaw and Salads. Their cocktails are equally impressive. What truly sets this spot apart, though, is the view. Dining here with the water as your backdrop makes every meal feel like a special occasion. Whether you’re celebrating something or just want a memorable night out with friends this place delivers every time.

Elegant Setting, Delicious Food, and Great Service We recently had a wonderful lunch at Pacific Table in Plano, and everything about the experience was fantastic. We were a group of six — and were seated at a beautiful table by the window with views overlooking the water, which really elevated the whole dining experience! The setting is elegant yet relaxed, perfect for a special lunch or a nice gathering with friends and family. We originally planned to order entrees, however, we ended up enjoying so many of the rolls and small plates that we never made it to the main course! — except for one delicious steak entrée for my nephew. Nearly every roll we tried was outstanding, which is why we kept ordering more. The rock shrimp was also a standout — flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Service was top-notch throughout our visit. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome without ever rushing us. My brother is an occasional regular here, and now I can see why — the food, service, and ambiance all make it worth returning to. If you’re looking for a place that offers refined flavors, a relaxing atmosphere, and scenic views, Pacific Table is an excellent choice. I can’t wait to go back!

Great seafood options ,beautiful decor and excellent lake view. There are very limited restaurants around DFW where you could get good seafood options. Pacific table was one of the best seafood restaurants for me. All the seafood that we had ,were amazing and beautifully cooked. Spicy rock shrimp with rice was excellent. Shrimp were succulent and perfectly crispy. Loved the lobster roll, lobster quality was good. Pan fried fish was beautifully done, fish was perfectly well done. Crispy on the outside yet soft inside. Lot of options for sides. Even the sautéed broccolini tasted great and paired really well with the fish. Cocktails were good. Service was excellent. Only disappointment was the chicken tenders which we ordered for take away. Batter was too salty to a point where my kid had to get rid of the crispy batter and just eat the chicken. But that’s on us, we anyway didn’t expect the chicken tenders to be best at a seafood place.
Tanmay B — Google review
I was very pleased with my experience here. We received great service and the food was better than I expected. The hit at the table was the fried oysters. I enjoyed the lettuce wraps and the risotto is good too. I don’t think my friends liked the drinks so maybe skip the cocktails. The atmosphere is perfect on a good weather day. We sat on the patio and it was so relaxing.
Charity C — Google review
Very delicious seafood. We came during Oyster Fest and got raw oysters and Rockefeller oysters for appetizers. The raw oysters were nice and clean tasting and the cocktail sauce was very good too. The Rockefeller oysters were some of the best cooked oysters we have ever had. For the entree I got the Trout Almondine and it was very good and the mashed potatoes were delicious and exceeded my expectations. While we waited we were able to sit on couches outside by the water and had the option to be served drinks and appetizers. There was also excellent live music for the outdoor seating. We opted for indoor seating once our wait was over, while was around half an hour, because of the heat. Inside was very loud and busy and hard to hear or server sometimes. If the weather was better we would have enjoyed the relaxing vibe of eating outside with the music and the view of the water. For oyster fest we also got a free painted oyster shell. The painter was painting them right outside the restaurant and they were very well painted.
Christopher S — Google review
Upscale Pacific Northwest sushi, steak and seafood restaurant. Right on the canal with outdoor patio, interior dining, bar and private area as well. The atmosphere and ambiance is unmatched. This is complimented by their impeccably trained staff. Many times the true measure of an establishment is how they handle a potential problem. Perfection is unattainable so things are going to happen and in our case they took a very minor issue and turned it into a memorable experience. Try the potato crusted halibut, get the lychee cocktail and indulge in the brown cake dessert. Then go for a relaxing walk along the canals and feel as though you just spent the evening in Venice or Spain. This is a destination spot. If you're anywhere close and you miss it, you just don't value exceptional experiences.
Architype — Google review
This is by far the best veggie burger I’ve ever had! The base is made with sushi rice and pecans, and it’s anything but dry, full of flavor and perfectly balanced for vegans. The pineapple dressing adds just the right touch of sweetness and tang to make your taste buds come alive. I substituted the fries for their quinoa side, and oh boy, it was amazing! The quinoa is mixed with chickpeas, avocado, grilled zucchini, dried fruit, and a light vinaigrette. Every bite was fresh and satisfying. The staff was also incredibly accommodating with my requests. I don’t like raw onions or cheese, and they made sure to remove them from both the quinoa and the burger without missing a beat. Their attention to detail really stood out. A fun moment during my visit: my order was actually taken by the manager, who was so well dressed I thought he was one of the high-end guests at first! It turns out he jumped in to help so I wouldn’t have to wait, something you don’t see very often. Later, my server took over and was equally attentive. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, making it a place where you can dress casually and still feel right at home. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and ladies, each table has a hook for your purse, which is such a thoughtful touch! The only minor thing for me was the music, it was a little loud for my taste, but I tend to prefer quieter spaces. Most people will likely find it just right. Overall, an excellent dining experience! I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the Irving area.

Wow. Just wow! Hands down the best Mexican and American food I’ve had in years — no exaggeration. I can confidently say it’s the best Mexican food in the Dallas area. We went for lunch and ordered several dishes from the menu. Everything was perfect — fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The quality and taste here surpass any other restaurant in Dallas. Highlights from our meal: • Low & Slow Chicken over Rice – My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. • Margarita Flatbread – So tasty and scrumptious! The portion size is huge — definitely sharable. • Whiskey Bread Pudding – Rich, moist, not overly sweet, and melt-in-your-mouth good. • Onion Rings – Crispy, golden, and a must-try. If you’re in the area and love great food, this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!

Went on a date with my husband. Very nice atmosphere. It’s the sister chain of Haywire in Plano. Our server was amazing, we did get there before closing but never did anyone make us feel rushed and the server always took her time with us. She was awesome. She explained the menu explained all the options. What was the best on the menu and very thorough she knew what she was talking about food was 10 out of 10 that drinks were 10 out of 10. The atmosphere was a 10 out of 10 definitely would be back.

Had a business dinner at the Ranch with a couple colleagues. First time the Ranch. Very big steakhouse. Lots of room inside and outside. We had to wait only a couple of minutes at 6pm on a Monday night. We sat outside which was nice but was disappointed with the shaggy artificial turf. I had their mixed bowl topped with steak. The steak was really chewy and I didn’t enjoy the bowl either as it was very dressed up. Not worth the price.

What an incredible representation of Dallas with elevated comfort food with a focus on Texas-style plates and steaks. This is a home-run of an operation. The western decor was prominently featured throughout the facility. Multiple dining rooms and space for private dining groups. It was clear that they set and maintain high standards here. Everyone on the staff was professional and hospitable. When in Dallas, this spot should be on your list.

This place is absolutely fantastic. This is my third visit and I've tried something different each time. Their menu is well thought out with a variety of savory and hearty options to choose from. I had the steak on my first visit and they got that medium rare right. The steak was juicy, tender, flavorful and fresh. The redfish came highly recommended from the server on my second visit and it was on point. The generous portion of crab meat and shrimp were plenty. The chicken fried steak was another favorite on my third visit. It was lightly breaded and served with fresh green beans and mash potatoes. That jalapeno cream gravy hit home though. This place is lively, fun and the service is always impeccable. I am looking forward to returning.

Every time I visit Dallas, I try to stop for lunch or dinner at The Ranch. My go-to favorite used to be the Cadillac Burger, but it was taken off the menu a while ago. These days, I usually order the American Burger with a side of mac and cheese. The restaurant is spacious, but I recommend making a reservation for dinner or weekend brunch. The chocolate chipotle cake is still good, though I miss when it had a stronger chipotle kick in the aftertaste.

Go here. I did and loved it. A friend of mine was here prior so we went on his recommendation. Advice = reservations. We didn’t but we’re lucky enough to ask about the outdoor seating which was quicker and was fine. Inside was beautiful. I got my usual NY Strip and it was great. I added the garlic and a type of pepper to my steak and it added a nice touch of just a little heat. Added on grilled 🍤 that were great. The tallow fries were ok. My friend got the pork belly for an appetizer for us and they were good. He loved his ribs and salad. Definitely a place to bring a planned group. What happened, this place used to be pretty good. We went for my daughter's birthday and wished we never went. Took over an hour to get our food for the four of us and we kept seeing people being seated and then leaving so we finally asked and the waiter went to go check. Magically the food was ready. But there was a problem. The two steaks were cold and so was the chicken. I guess the waiter forgot it or something. So we told the waiter and he went to i guess a lady mgr. She offered to make new ones but we did not have the time to wait any longer. Then she offered some kinda dessert and we declined. They ended up comping one steak and we paid for the rest. We asked for a to go box. I figured since I was paying for it I might as well take it home for our dog. What a disappointment.

Andalous Mediterranean Grill is a casual restaurant which serves up a variety of Mediterranean dishes. They have an extensive menu which includes appetizers, dips, salads, falafel, pitas, sandwiches, kabobs, beef, lamb, chicken and more. They also have a pet-friendly patio for Fido to enjoy his meal with you. The couscous salad was my favorite dish and the pita was delicious as well.
The lamb dishes at Andalous are a standout. The tender and juicy lamb, infused with aromatic spices, is a true delight. The accompanying sides, such as the fluffy rice and crisp pita bread, complement the main course perfectly. While the food is generally delicious, there have been occasional instances where the quality has been inconsistent.

Didn't have a single star. We went there yesterday to enjoy our buffet, thinking the cost is 16.99$ per person on weekdays like advertised on some instagram reels. When we asked the receptionist whether we need to pay upfront, she told we can do it later. There is no display which shows the cost of buffet anywhere around. Once we started filling our plates, the dishes were placed in such a way that we can reach only one of them, when we asked whether we can come over the other side to reach the far dishes, the staff were like NO. When we said we want to try them they would just swap with the nearer ones, replacing the near ones to far from reach. I don't understand whether they want us to have only one of them. Some dishes were already empty like the samosas. When asked they were not refilled and said we're done for the day. How come, we paid for everything right. When we were about to sit down and eat, the staff member aks us to pay first. To my surprise the price was 29$ for one person including taxes. When asked she mentioned it's special buffet for Ramadan which we weren't aware of at all. No display of buffet price or change in price when we entered and asked. The price changed suddenly when we filled our plates and set to eat. With no choice left we spent double the amount for such a distasteful food which we didn't like at all. And the dessert part it's one Baklava for one person🙄. Why did we even come to this restaurant at all. We regret it a lot now. There are many better options out there. Please don't waste your time and money to set to eat at this cafeteria style buffet place.

Excellent! From the service to the food, everything was great. Between the 3 of us we had falafel, spinach hummus, couscous, tabouleh, Andalou' chicken, gyro, chicken shwarma, baklava, rice, potatoes. Everything was so full of flavor and fresh. Absolutely the best spinach hummus I've ever had. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Can't wait to go back.

Cork & Pig Tavern Las Colinas is a laid-back gastropub that offers wood-fired pizza, American cuisine, and an extensive selection of wines in a modern setting. Situated at Irving Water Street, it provides a great dining option amidst the lush greenery of Lake Carolyn. The area also offers opportunities for outdoor activities such as romantic gondola rides on Mandalay Canals and stand-up paddleboarding with Stand Up Paddle North Texas.
This is another great place in the Los Colinas Canal area. Fantastic service. Our waiter was great. He provided the perfect amount of attention. We started with the truffle fries. They were perfection in a potato. I'm so sad all of the previous potatoes I've partaken in were not these fries. They were that good. And their sauces for the fries were so delicious. I could eat that spicy sauce on everything. The burgers were huge. The Mac and cheese was fantastic. I had the fish tacos. They were just right for me, but if you like a lot of food, they will not be enough for you. It's three "street" tacos and a side. I had the beets. They were nice. It was a mix of the red beets and pink beets. They had lots of brunch drink choices. They have a nice patio space as well. It was a fun time.

We chose this location because we had tickets for a play nearby. Two of us ordered the coconut mojitos and they were great. I am still searching for the Bounty coconut rum from St Lucia. My wife ordered the prime rib sandwich and it was a good choice. My pork chop was also very good. They have a huge outside patio area that got pretty full by the time we were heading out. The interior is very modern and looks inviting. If we are ever back in this area we would definitely stop back. They also have a nice happy hour selection that ends at 6:00 pm.

Our highly anticipated ladies' night got off to a rocky start. We had a patio reservation made well in advance, but the initial experience with the hostess was disappointing. She was unfriendly and a bit passive-aggressive when we inquired about our table—honestly, the worst part of our visit. We were initially seated at the only available table, which was unfortunately blazing in the direct sun. The Turnaround: Phenomenal Service and Delicious Food Thankfully, once we were able to switch to a shaded table, the evening became wonderful. Our server, Nick, was phenomenal! He was kind, incredibly knowledgeable, patient with our requests, and proactively ensured we were aware of any potential food allergens for our table. He truly saved the experience. For my main course, I had the salmon with blue crab and lemon butter topping, which was served after an extremely fresh and tasty garden salad. While the salmon was delicious, it was just slightly overcooked for my personal liking. Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate cake and beignets for dessert. Conclusion I would definitely return, especially if Nick is our server. Despite the rocky beginning with the hostess and seating, the quality of the food and Nick's exceptional service made for a fantastic ladies' night out.

Cierra was our AMAZING amazing waitress and helped make our group corporate lunch feel super special. We celebrated two of our team members birthdays and she was wonderful in surprising them at the end. The food was bigger portions than we thought and we were thoroughly surprised! Leftovers heck yes! Taste of the food was great too! Spinach and artichoke dip was good- chips kind of too salty for me but still the dip yummm The truffle pizza was great but I would recommend folks to ask for arugula on the side so that you can add as needed And the truffle fires were bomb! Super tasty and flavorful and I liked dipping in the spicy mayo

the rustic and airy vibe struck a nice balance between relaxed and upscale. The outdoor patio is great for people-watching or dining with friends. Deviled eggs were creamy, tangy, and perfectly balanced — a must-order Try their wood fired pizza and pork ribs. The atmosphere and servers made me feel welcome, and dessert was just the cherry on top. Try their key lime. Cocktail are must try too - the buzz and seventh were good

Let’s me start by saying my server Matthew was phenomenal! His energy was great from start to finish! I came here for brunch on a Sunday. I ordered the brunch pizza and it was very flavorful. Everything was fresh; you can tell it’s locally sourced I really appreciated that. The crust 10/10 so buttery, however I don’t think I’d order it again but I’d come back and get the regular pizza.

Large portion sizes, great atmosphere, and good food! Menu is on the smaller side which is nice because it means the food is fresh, cocktails are refreshing and they have a patio for when the weathers nice.

New American restaurant
Featuring an extensive menu of New American fare, Yard House is a high-end sports bar with great service. The chicken avocado sandwich was amazing, and the Nashville hot chicken sandwich was good too.
The food was exceptional. I wanted to try everything on the menu and had a difficult time choosing. It was a long wait due to the concerts and festivities, but it was well worth the wait! I will definitely make it a point to revisit!!

My recent visit to Yard House was a truly pleasant experience. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff who made us feel very welcome. The atmosphere was equally impressive, creating a comfortable and inviting dining environment. We ordered several chicken-based dishes, and while the overall flavors were good, we did find ourselves wishing the chicken in our main course was a bit more juicy. Despite this minor point, the positive aspects of our visit, particularly the outstanding service and ambiance, certainly made for an enjoyable meal. We look forward to returning and hope to find that extra touch of juiciness next time!

This was my first time visiting Yard House and I was honestly blown away! The prices are surprisingly affordable, especially considering how great the food tastes. The menu has a wide variety, and everything we ordered was fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere was lively but still comfortable, and the service was quick and friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back soon—highly recommend!

Positives, Iove the extensive amount of beers and various types of cocktails. The restaurant was nice and dark, I like that. Service was good and responsive to our needs as guests. The booths are big and perfect for group gatherings. Negatives, we were nervous about the about parking due to the music factory and didn't want to park were we wouldn't be validated. The food was average and wasn't worth the price. If I pay 20$ each for an entree, it better be good. They have plenty of TV's to watch the game.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. The customer service was excellent!!!! Javi really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. The food was good and satisfying. If you love beer, they have an excellent selection to choose from. Overall, it was a nice place to enjoy a meal with great service and a good atmosphere. I’d definitely come back just for the hospitality alone!

Fun place with party / sports bar vibe. Loud music, friendly staff. Menu is huge, pages and pages of drinks and food. We liked our drinks better than our food. Not to say the food was bad, it was ok, but drinks were great. Park in the parking garage near by and the restaurant will validate for you. Cool place, we'd visit again.

Came here on a Saturday evening and the place was not too packed. The place had a good vibe and plenty of room for the patrons with several sports events playing on TVs. The appetizers here were great, and particularly enjoyed the poke nachos. Their burger was pretty average, though. Server was friendly but her food recommendations were pretty generic. Not sure if this is a place I would frequent, honestly, but it was decent. It's conveniently located in middle of Toyota Music Factory so it has that going for it.

Bartenders were great. Food was good, drinks were amazing. The atmosphere was good. My only reason for giving a 1 star review (if I could, I would give zero) is for for the manager Cody (see pics attached). I had a tab, beer on the bar. I stepped outside for less than 3 min. Tried to go inside, door was locked. I called my friend on the bar that was inside. Said, hey, door is locked. Come open or ask some to open. I had just ordered a yard. The manager said it was locked, and no one could come in for security reasons. He mentioned I was the one paying and I had to sign the bill. “Cody” said, I’ll call security to ask them if they can open. The security was him. I was then scolded by him, saying he couldn’t loose his job for letting me in. I told him I was already in, he said “ I can’t loose my job, because you went out for a smoke”. The most rude and unprofessional manager.

Mexican restaurant
Pacheco Taco Bar is a vibrant, fast-casual eatery that serves up a variety of Mexican-inspired dishes. Located inside the Toyota Music Factory, this colorful taqueria offers an array of options including tacos, burritos, and Mexican-style bowls. Don't miss out on their popular street tacos which are known for their deliciousness. For those looking for a great deal, the 4 Street Tacos combo is highly recommended.
Wonderful Mexican food restaurant. I wa starving and ordered the loaded asada fries. A base of fries topped grilled meat, pickled jalapeños, sour cream, pico de gallo and guacamole. Also had the 3 quesabirria tacos, stewed meat, double tortilla with a dipping sauce. Just delicious.
Joaquin M — Google review
My daughter wanted me to have a good lunch a few days after surgery so we tried Pacheco. It was easy to order for pickup as this was a few blocks from my place. My daughter went and picked up for me. She said the gentlemen that handed her the order was nice and asked if we liked to please return. I had 3 birria tacos with no sides that cost about $16. They were lacking in meat is my biggest complaint. Now, I’m not a big meat person but when I’m looking for birria I need a good ratio of meat to cheese. This was about a tablespoon of meat spread with lots of cheese. I will say that the tacos were really good. Looking at previous reviews the meat portions may be inconsistent 🤷🏽‍♀️ I did warm leftovers in my air fryer which made it better with the salsa. I won’t rush back but I might try again in the future
Michelle R — Google review
Stopped in for a quick lunch. It was not busy at all. You order at a counter and seat yourself. Walking in you could smell strong chemicals as if they had sprayed fragrance. I can’t speak for everyone but I try to avoid toxic fragrances. The food was brought to our table with missing sides but they quickly brought us what we needed. As I went to the restroom to wash my hands there was a random fork in the sink and water all over the floor. Strange! But the food was great! Very authentic and beautiful decor in the restaurant

Order whatever you want in the menu, then add the Ramen Elote. This Taco Bar is a favorite of ours when we're in Irving visiting the Convention Center or Toyota Music Factory. The employees are friendly and our food is always fresh and fast. Our family will get the four Street Taco deal and mix and match all the delicious options. You can't miss on this one....... And don't forget the Ramen Elote!!

Delicious food, great atmosphere. There was a mistake in my order, but I went to the register and they fixed it without any problem! I loved the papas locas and the birria tacos.
John M — Google review
We went to this restaurant WITH THE SOLE PURPOSE OF VALIDATING OUR PARKING. They have signs on the inside and outside that say they validate parking. Online it says they validate parking. The parking attendant at the parking garage said this restaurant validates parking. TELL MY WHY THE WORKERS AND MANAGERS REFUSED TO VALIDATE ANYONES PARKING. I was not the only customer upset. They said they don’t validate on the weekends. AFTER WE BOUGHT OUR FOOD. But that is a blatant lie, because when we went to the dessert place next door right after they validated our parking no problem (That place was very good, it was cheesecake, highly recommend). They actually laughed when we said the Mexican restaurant next door to them wouldn’t validate us. The manager was incredibly rude, she was a short woman with a tight low bun and glasses. She didn’t want to come out to talk to customers, and when she did she was very short and unhelpful. She turned her back on customers before they could even speak. If they don’t want to validate parking that’s fine, BUT THEN DONT ADVERTISE THAT YOU DO. I realize this is a long and ranting review, I’m just pregnant and it really sent me over the edge. The price if you validate parking is $10, the price if you don’t validate parking is $55.

Super fresh with flavors that pop! The guacamole was tasty (I added salt) and the queso cubes added a nice touch. The tacos were delicious! The Mexican corn was INSANE!!! SO FLIPPING GOOD! Great place to stop and relax with amazing food. Family friendly as well. Thanks for the experience Pacheco Taco Bar. I’ll be back next time I’m in town.

The place is very cute inside and had plenty of seating and quite an extensive menu but the food was just ok. Micheladas lacked flavor. They even forgot to bring one michelada out to my friend who had to get a refund for it. Overall still an ok place for tacos. Parking was quite of a hassle as the parking was full

Vila Brazil in Irving is a delightful Brazilian bar and steakhouse that captures the essence of churrascaria dining. This inviting eatery offers an impressive selection of premium grilled meats, including garlic picanha, flap steak, pork loin, and top sirloin, all served directly from the roasting pit to your plate. The vibrant salad bar complements these succulent cuts with a variety of toppings and ingredients.
The inviting ambiance truly made for a memorable experience. Exceptional service from the waitstaff elevated the dining experience. A friendly atmosphere creates a welcoming space for all. It's wonderful to encounter such dedication to customer satisfaction. Such positive qualities make a place truly special. The delightful food selection offered a range of tempting choices. Each dish was prepared with care and presented beautifully. Fresh ingredients enhanced the flavors, creating a truly satisfying experience. The variety ensured there was something to please every palate. It was a meal to remember fondly.

The place is ok Is not BYOB as one of their main competitor around the corner. They charge you $20 per bottle of your own beer or alcohol. Parking lot at 2 pm almost impossible. The menu is ok, bar is ok, price is a bit pricey.

Stopped in for lunch and had a fantastic experience. The lunch buffett and all you can eat Churrasco steak offerings were very affordable, offering plenty of variety and great value for the quality of food. Service was fast and efficient, which made it easy to enjoy a full meal even on a tighter schedule. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, creating a warm atmosphere that made the meal even more enjoyable. From the moment we walked in to the last bite, everything felt well taken care of. If you’re looking for a Brazilian steakhouse that delivers flavorful food, quick service, and a friendly environment without breaking the bank, this spot is an excellent choice. Great lunch value, fast service, and outstanding hospitality.

This review is going to take a min so just bare with me! We will start with the food, the buffet section was very disappointing!!! The hot section was not hot and the food was not completely cooked. They only had at most five kinds of meats to pick from so you had to eat what was offered. I must say that two of the meats were very good but the other three were not up to the name of the restaurant. Are you still with me because here comes the best part. When the bill finally arrives we left a tip as you should for the service but then the waitress ask if we were going to give her more!!! We looked at her and said excuse me you're asking us to leave a much larger tip than what you're receiving right now! Then the waitress said, we have to split the tips among everybody at the end of the night and we said ok and then she said " So your not going to give more?" We told that the tip we are leaving is for you and if that's how your boss divides the money that's not our problem. Ok now I'm going to do some quick math for you readers. They have 20 tables in the restaurant and if everyone left a $25 tip then they will gross $500 per hour in tips total. The restaurant is open for 10 hours and that's $5000 per day in tips split 20 ways for the workers. Stay with me now, if each person gets $250 per day and they work six days a week they will gross $1500 per week. That adds up to $6000 a month in tips working six days a week, which adds up to a grand total of $72,000 a year in tips. I'm sure some people will never see that kind of money without a degree or taking off your clothes and dancing around a pole. The moral of this post is if you want quality food and service then go to Fogo de Chow in Addison on Beltline. When you go their the wait person will not ask for more money because everything is to perfection. Happy dinning!!!

We've been to Fogo De Chao and Texas De Brazil. We didn't expect the same experience. But something somewhat similar at a cheaper price. It is the same style of cuisine. (Brazilian Steakhouse on a skewer) But the meat is low quality. Salad bar was sad. Jason's deli has a much better Salad bar. The service was poor. When we asked for wine we were rudely told to scan a QR code. So, we passed. The bill was $90 for 2 basic all you can eat meals. This was a waste of good money. We will not return.
Andre P — Google review
Steak is brought over on a skewer and sliced it at your table and you grab it with tongs as it is cut off. If you’re there during a slow time, most of the meat that comes around is cut and served to you from the outer portion of the meat. I prefer more of an interior cut. I felt that the external layer was a bit salty and greasy. But upon requesting a deeper section, the waiter was happy to accommodate my request. When the meat was cut a little bit more deeply into the secured portion, it was a much better experience. However, I must say that the salad bar was extraordinary and I feel like going back and having only the salad bar. There I found smoked salmon, lovely red beets, and these cute mini wedge salads 💕. I am going back for sure! They had some warm items on their salad bar, and I didn’t get to any of that. Perhaps when I return, I will try the hot portion of the salad bar. They had 13 different items on their dessert menu and a comprehensive alcohol menu. I considered their flaming cheesecake but opted for the carrot cake at the last minute and I’m glad I did. It was extremely nutty and flaky.

I really enjoy eating at thus restaurant. The service is top-notch. The food is hot and delicious. Such a fantastic experience every time I go. And the prices are reasonable. Add that all up and it equals a win for everyone.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stopped by for lunch and was blown away by the quality of the food and service—especially for half the price of their competitors. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back often. I love Brazilian steakhouses, and this one really stands out!

Dallas Love Field

Domestic airport
Dallas Love Field is an airport that showcases a diverse range of permanent and rotating artwork, including sculptures and paintings. Located in the cosmopolitan city of Dallas, it is home to one of the largest LGBT+ communities in the United States, offering plenty of cool places to enjoy drinks and entertainment under rainbow flags. The city itself is known for its diversity, with various languages spoken on its streets and a mix of bustling downtown areas and family-friendly suburbs.
This was my first time flying into and out of this airport…it was a pleasant experience overall. I appreciate that it was hassle free to drop off my rental car. The rental car shuttle guy was courteous and kind! The TSA check in was fast. It was nice to have access to healthy food options. The bathrooms are clean and it is nice that they have free items for women <3

You would figure when a plane is sitting at the gate for 3+ hours, someone would figure out said plane would have an engine issue. Nope, not Southwest, they completely board the plane, back it up, and then figure it out. Meanwhile, we completely unload the plane, scramble everyone for new flights and now I'm seven hours late. Never again...
Warren S — Google review
First, it’s an airport, once you accept that, it’s bad medium or great. This is medium good. Dallas traffic is as bad as LA. The airport is a nice little place once you get in there. The even have a Maggiano’s, one of our favorite restaurants in Chicago, St. Louis, & in this airport (Philly and a couple more places we’ve visited.) that gets a Star!
Shawn S — Google review
I was flying out of Dallas using Southwest airlines and this is a great airport. I got dropped off when using the route 5 bus and the curbside main entrance to the terminal building is tiny. But when I got inside, it was not busy and I got through security in about 5 minutes. And due to the small size, the airport is very easy to navigate. Even though it's kind of small compared to DFW, there are still some good places to eat inside. Overall this is a great airport.
Matt M — Google review
Currently here on a layover delay. The airport itself is nice, with large windows that let in plenty of natural light. One thing I really appreciate is the variety of restaurants—there’s no shortage of places to grab a bite. It is a bit crowded right now due to delays, and the interior layout can feel a little tight when it gets busy, but overall it’s a solid and comfortable airport to be stuck in.
Sophoan Y — Google review
I’ve used this airport a handful of times now. Southwest is most prominent airline. They have curbside check-in for $3. Plenty of kiosks for checking in inside. It’s relatively small so not a lot of people and not too busy, compared to a full size one. If you are running late, it’s a shorter distance to trek to the gate. Plenty of food options too. They have Whataburger and some fancy bars as well. Staff is friendly. Strict but not rude.
Chintot — Google review
I don’t understand why this airport has 4.5 stars!! From the getting out of the car the security directing traffic were playing and goofing off!!! Then had the audacity to Yell at my dad for helping us unload our luggage and baby stroller and car seat. They didn’t direct traffic at ALL. Also I have been to several airports and not once charged a concierge fee on top of my baggage fee for curbside check in. Then the guy who checked us in was a complete jerk when I simply asked why we were being charged on top of the baggage fee. He said you didn’t read the sign!!! Ok well you read all the signed when you are being yelled at by security have awkward baby gear and luggage and a mother who is handicapped. If you are going to charge me the concierge price at least help us or have staff to help us. This airport sucks and is beyond greedy!!! Here is the sign for all those whom need to see it prior to your next departure.
Jackie S — Google review
Dallas Love Field is definitely a great airport, really easy to navigate and from check-in to boarding the plane, it’s all smooth. I’ve seen so many places to eat and many stores to shop and definitely did have a good flight on Southwest Airlines to Philadelphia. I will for sure return to this airport next time!

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport

International airport
Airport
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is a massive complex spanning over 17,000 acres and serving North Texas. It offers direct rail service to Dallas and features the Founders Plaza Observation Station, providing visitors with a view of the airport's 2,300 daily takeoffs and landings. The observation area includes long-distance binoculars, parking, a graph board for identifying aircraft, speaker systems broadcasting audio from the Control Tower, and four picnic areas.
I fly frequently and love reviewing airports. DFW is one of my regular layovers when traveling from the west to east coast. DFW is a big airport that you need a tram to get between terminal A through E. The tram arrives every couple minutes and is easy to use. There are plenty of restaurants/fast food, vending machines, charging stations and restrooms throughout. I’m most familiar with terminal A. The employees at the American Airline gates are very helpful and efficient. If you have any questions I’m happy to answer them if I can. Happy Traveling!
Michelle — Google review
Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the country, but despite the heavy traffic, my experience there was smooth and surprisingly stress-free. Getting to the terminal was easy, and the layout is well-organized, which made the entire arrival process straightforward. One of the highlights of DFW is the Skylink service, which is excellent. The automated train system is fast, efficient, and makes traveling between terminals a breeze. Even though the airport is massive, Skylink takes away the stress of navigating long distances. The airport itself is clean, modern, and very well maintained. There are plenty of places to eat and shop, offering everything from quick bites and coffee shops to sit-down restaurants and well-known retail brands. It makes layovers or waiting times much more enjoyable with so many options to choose from. Despite being such a large and very busy airport, it never felt chaotic. The signage is clear, the staff is helpful, and the overall organization makes it easy to find your way around. Pros: - Smooth and stress-free terminal access - Excellent Skylink train service between terminals - Clean, organized, and modern facilities - Wide variety of food and shopping options - Clear signage and helpful staff Things to note: - It’s a major hub, so it can get crowded at peak times Overall: DFW Airport offers a great travel experience. Even with its size and busy atmosphere, the efficiency, cleanliness, and amenities make it stand out as one of the better large airports in the U.S.

Dallas Airport is a cool hub. Food is excellent here. Easy to navigate and it's huge which is a deterrent for me as a travel lover but signs are everywhere if you pay attention to your boarding pass you will figure it out. They have electric carts for those who need assistance going from one gate/terminal to another. I'm mainly mentioning on this review the two places I ate: Pappadeux and Little Maggiano's I firmly recommend. Airport food should be part of a pleasant journey. And these two restaurants elevate your travel experience.
MC S — Google review
DFW was my home airport for most of my life...after retiring and flying even more I fully appreciate DFW Airport. Large enough for just about every airline in the world the airports multiple terminals are connected by a post-TSA, free tram system that runs constantly. With so many airlines the airport is also home to many club lounges. From the Capital One Lounge to the many Admiral's Clubs and so many in between for a respite away from the crowds. Weather and thunderstorm delays are common in spring and summer. Always a good idea to be in and out of DFW earlier in the day rather than late and face cascading issues.
Traveling G — Google review
Massive airport. Be ready to take the Skylink train to get to your terminal—it’s fast, but definitely not the smoothest ride. The floors throughout in the Skylink could use a more consistent cleaning as well, which detracts a bit from the overall experience. That said, the airport offers a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and shops across all terminals, which helps pass the time if you have a layover.
Anthony S — Google review
If you're looking for the ultimate in airport convenience, accessibility, and luxury amenities, DFW's Terminal D (the International Terminal) is it. Home to a collection of top-tier lounges including The Centurion Lounge, Capital One Lounge, Flagship Lounge, and more offering abundant seating, premium food, and best of all, shower suites for long layovers! Use the Skylink train post-security for fast, easy connections to every other terminal. Enjoy bright, comfortable concourses, a diverse mix of international dining and shopping (including Duty-Free), and dedicated support for accessibility (like the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program). Terminal D is truly built for the modern global traveler. Skip the arrival terminal crowds and head straight for the international gateway!

DFW is a great international airport to arrive at or fly from! It's spacious and big, which is befitting of an airport in The Great State of Texas, and also very "Texas friendly" as well. One feature that I enjoyed is the "Skylink" which connects all of the gates. It's an airport that I'll look forward to returning to again!
