Fright Fest was So much fun with so many wonderful costumes. Always a great time for some family fun at the Great Escape 6 flags lake George
The park is falling into disrepair. Many rides were closed when we visited at the end of July (the height of the season, everything should be working). Some of the rides and decorations are clearly getting the minimal amount of upkeep. Paint is flaking badly on the bottom of the pools and they should’ve been stripped and repainted long ago. The decorative lights on many of the rides weren’t working at all. The layers of dust and grime make the rides look pretty shabby. They’re painting the old story town stuff to make it look nice, but I don’t think anyone really cares about that. I think the word has gotten out to the rest of the public too. Lines for the rides were short, which helped offset our general disappointment with the place. It was still a fun day with the kids, but we’ve decided that we’re probably not going back again. There are better amusement parks that only require a slightly longer drive. There are tons of better water parks. The prices have gotten so high that this is no longer a good entertainment value.
Great just please clean the pools. I had a ton of band-aides coming flying with the waves in the wave pool. Also hair . I love the wave pool please keep it clean 😊 prices could go down with the food , also shouldn’t have to wait 4 hours between meals with the passes ! Please have life guard on duty at the bottom of the kids water slide near the wave pool. We do love the atmosphere & all the attractions for the littles especially with timber town and the water park is our absolute favorite for the kiddos ! Hot tub needed for adults 🤣
A great place for families. A little pricey but that's the world these days, the reusable cups are definitely worth the buy. The water park is the best part. Bathrooms were as clean as they could be with so many people in and out of them, maybe they should hire a few more maintenance people. Otherwise a pretty good time and Martha's is right across the street!
Other than more than a few rides being closed for maintenance, it was a good time. The bees are horrible at the drink and food stands though. My partner got stung so if you have a bee allergy stay away from sugary drinks and bring your own food.
We attended on a day of fright fest. Several rides weren't open which was disappointing. As I watched the change over to fright fest I was disappointed. I was surprised to see characters walk up behind people, especially smaller children and just scream. I've been coming to the Great Escape for decades and have never witnessed this before during fright fest. I didn't find this behavior scary or frightening, it was annoying and somewhat cruel, which isn't what fright fest is about. I will say some of the costumes and makeup were outstanding.
Really went downhill quick this year. Many of the popular rides have been out of service (seemingly) for much of the season and the workers are very unpleasant. I will not be renewing my family's season tickets for 2026 as I'm being asked to pay full price for a 1/3 to 2/3 of this theme park with zero refunds or perks.
Had to go to 4 different places to get my sodas and then on top of it my mom had fallen and nobody did anything. Woman running ride didn't come over to check and ride almost hit my mom in the face. Oh and then there's the fact that their response was to "increase training" no mention of what they could do to fix it for us. I highly discourage you from going if you're disable as they won't do anything to help you if you get hurt in any way

Me and my family of 6 had a great time. The entire indoor park was a great time. My older kids wouldn't get out of the Lazy River and my youngest 2 loved swimming in the kiddie pool. My whole family enjoy the refreshing giant buckets of water at the top of the slides. The food at the Hurricane Bar& Grill was surprisingly great. Nothing taste frozen first or mircowave. Everything was fresh and the room my kids didn't want to leave. We played our Switch at night on one of TV. We booked the Triple Queen. Everyone had plenty space to a have dance party before bed. We will definitely be back.
Stayed here for business while making it fun for the kids, and overall it was a solid experience. The lodge is spacious—our room had a full kitchen, two bathrooms, and plenty of room for the family. Starbucks in the lobby is a nice perk, though it closes from 12–4, so plan accordingly. The water park was a hit with the kids, but it’s extremely loud—earmuffs are a must for little ones sensitive to noise. Forgot flip-flops? No problem, the water park store has them… but be ready for steep prices. Most things here come at a premium. Food, snacks, and coffee are expensive, and they don’t accept cash anywhere except the coin-operated washing machines (go figure). The rooms were mostly clean—microwave could use a better wipe-down—but nothing alarming. The location is convenient if you’re visiting Six Flags—it’s right across the road—but other attractions like mini-golf or ice cream require a short drive. Overall, great for a family getaway with kids, but be prepared for the higher prices and some minor inconveniences. Still, the spacious rooms and fun water park make it worth a visit.
We stayed this weekend for a soccer tournament with a group of 50 parents and kids. Both parents and kids had a great time. The rooms were adequate. The indoor water park was exceptionally fun. But the standout moment was when MaryAnn was able to help facilitate a gathering on the 2nd floor foyer for our entire group to enjoy pizza together. MaryAnn went above and beyond, and for that we thank her. The entire staff was accommodating & friendly. We will be back again next October!
We recently stayed at the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark (8/9 to 8/13) and had a wonderful family vacation. Overall, we had a great time and the kids absolutely loved it! The best part of the entire trip was the indoor water park, which was a huge hit with our whole family. Our kids are 5, 3, and 1, and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The water park was very clean and well-maintained. We felt very safe, and the lifeguards were super friendly and attentive. The staff at the resort were also incredibly accommodating and friendly. We had a slight issue with the refrigerator in our room, but as soon as we reported it, the maintenance staff was there within 20 minutes to fix it. This kind of quick service really made a difference. While we had an amazing time, there were a couple of minor things to note. The rooms could have been a little cleaner, and we found the food and other items at the resort to be a bit expensive. However, these small things didn't take away from the overall experience. We would definitely recommend the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge for any family looking for a fun and exciting getaway. The great water park and friendly staff made it a vacation we'll all remember!
Always have a great time we go every year. I do recommend, but sometimes the rooms smell like cigarettes. They are accommodating and change the room for you, but generally, a lot of of them have a Tobacco odor. The food is fantastic love the breakfast buffet and we always have a great time. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable
We have been there 2 times in the winter and fall with 2 kids under 5. All of us had a great time. Service is great and friendly. Rooms are clean, tidy and well stocked. Staff even tried to help us find our missing pony. Food is a little pricey but we were on vaca. Other options nearby if you're willing to drive off the resort area.
This was our second time staying here. We stayed from 8/24-8/26. This time was definitely a little more disappointing than the first for a couple of reasons. First we were upset that we paid for a package including the indoor water park plus the entire theme park which includes the outdoor water park, but the entire outdoor water park was closed Monday (8/25) which was our only full day there. That would have been nice to know about before purchasing the package. Next, it was very annoying that the Starbucks in the lobby was out of basically anything I asked for (oat milk, iced tea, chocolate chip muffin). Then we went down on our last night about 9:45 pm to play at the arcade. The arcade was supposed to close at 11 pm but for some reason the worker decided to close it at 10:30 so we had wasted points that we spent money on since we had a half hour less to use them than we planned. Then the vending machine on our floor (3rd floor) was broken. Also, something needs to be done about the floor in the indoor water park. It is so slippery I saw kids falling left and right in that place. It’s very dangerous. Lastly, they got rid of the inclusive breakfast buffet and now charge guests $10 per person for breakfast buffet. On the bright side, the room was pretty clean and they did replace the Johnny Rockets with a Hurricane grill & wings downstairs which was delicious and fairly priced.
We arrived at 4p and all 3 rooms were ready. They were clean but looked worn. The lights between the queen beds did not work in 2 of the rooms. The hotel staff were friendly. Starbucks was very reasonably priced. The hotel Waterpark was nice, but some rides were down. Our great grandkids loved the lazy river and surf wave. The lifeguards were spot on with safety as number one. All in all, it was a good mini vacation, even though hotel may need some updates. It was great location to Six Flags Great Escape.

This place is sooo much fun! Room after room with a variety of display style’s & collectibles. I found the dealers working Friendly & Helpful. I like the discovery aspect, every turn is a new opportunity for treasure. Don’t skip the attic! I appreciate that they keep the new stuff in one area & vintage mostly the focus. And i’m kicking myself for not grabbing that 1950-60’s dress! Will definitely be back too next time i’m in town.
Had an amazing experience. Stopped by at random one day and spent over an hour in the store. The people at the front desk were kind and it is clear that they build a community here. It is truly like a museum where you can touch everything. They have everything you can think of. It is a bit cramped but that was not an issue for me as I had so much fun exploring. You must add this stop to your next trip!
There's so much stuff in here you would need a few hours to see it all. It has 3 floors and is huge. They have anything you could possibly want. It reminded me of a flea market with how cluttered it is but it was still fun and great as a random stop. Happy Shopping!
I enjoyed the outdoor shopping set up. I found a nice variety of items from a vendor named Peter. Indoors there’s many vendors with a large variety of items. Lots of treasures to explore. I was a little disappointed in the customer service in this shop. I was juggling several items with no offer of assistance. I brought my items to the front counter. When I was done shopping, the items already all put in a bag. I would’ve liked to look them over again. Furthermore, the items such as a large picture with a glass covering were not wrapped. I had to ask for wrapping of the items. It’s a nice shop, but the customer service could have been better.
Amazing!! 3 floors full of antique vendors. So many rooms filled to the brim with just about any antique you can imagine. My 6 yr search for my butter dish is finally over!!
Stopped by on Christmas Eve I was getting a gift for my wife Every year is the same as I always look for something that catches my eye Glenmore didn't disappoint !!
What an absolute gem of a place. It has three floors of wonderful finds!
Such a fun place to wander through! Lots of great items to check out.

The Mall isn’t what it use to be But the Mall is like Life you just have to find the Good in what’s left of it!
There's a couple of games stores and a trading card shop, movie theater is nice and has reclining seats. Spencer's is cool too. Ollies can sometimes have some very strange but funny things, food court is an absolute disappointment though.
Kinda reminds of the late 80's/early 90's small town mall experience, nice nostalgia. A lot of closed/out of business stores. Chinese place was the only spot open in the Food Court. $3.00 for a drink from the vending machines in a practically dead mall is absurd! Best thing is the 99 Restaurant near Planet Fitness. Great meal & Thea was a great waitress. Mall is a nice place to kill some time with the family.
Mall would be nice, but they stated that they were more concerned with their floors than accessibility for those needing a cart for their items or children ... so we weren't able to shop here. Had to go to Walmart instead. Its nothing personal against staff at this location, but I cant imagine why a mall isn't designed with heavy foot traffic in mind?? What does the appearance matter if the mall closes due to lack of consumers?
Great place to visit when your looking for something to do with the family. There's an Arcade, place to get a quick massage to relieve some of that stress from spending $. Then there's Target to pick up those things you might need at the house before you head home. KEEP STAYING PAWZITIVE Y'ALL 👍.
We were there about 1:30 in the afternoon and if the stores weren't closed down permanently the rest were not open it looked like a holiday. Was so disappointed really wanted to shop around all that was open is Dick's sports.
Went to Peter Harris, got ripped off some fake Under Armour shorts 😂. It's my own fault. I should have known better, that mall was dead, as is every mall. What else is there to say? I'll post a picture of the awesome overpriced shorts later.
Some places rather have 100% of nothing vs dropping rent so businesses have a chance. Come here once a year when I come to visit family each year it's worse and more empty. Gone from sad to pathetic to can't see it here another year from now. Hope the new owner gets it together. Found no place safe to park my bike.

If you’re searching for the best craft distillery in New York, Springbok Distilleries is a destination you can’t miss. From the moment you arrive, the attention to detail and genuine craftsmanship are unmistakable. Located in the heart of New York State, Springbok Distilleries stands as a shining example of excellence, delivering a refined and immersive experience for both newcomers and seasoned enthusiasts alike.
First time to the new digs. A huge tasting room with tables as well as the bar. They also have an outside tasting area that hosts live music from time to time. Their gin is still a very nice sipping option, and the lemon- and orangecellos are worth a try.
Excellent distillery that’s a bit of a hidden gem. Great spirits and cocktails with really nice and accommodating staff. Highly recommended for locals and tourists.
The Two Sisters Vodka is the best on the planet, and I've traveled the globe. Perfect just for sipping with ice on a hot summer day. Keep up the good work, Springbrook.
Cool little distillery off the beaten path. Their cowboy coffee was amazeballs!! They're getting ready to expand which is awesome to hear about any local spot. :) We did the tasting, a cocktail, and tour. Nevin was really enthusiastic and knew his stuff! Will definitely check it out again!
The place was beautiful and the drinks were great but the service was awful. The bartender looked miserable and it took 45+ min to get a drink. Wish they had more than one bartender when advertising a food truck and a musician on a summer weekend.
Great low-key setting to try a fun selection of liqueurs. Beautiful and scenic property. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!
Absolutely delicious honey whiskey. Will come visit soon! Is there any liquor stores to find your products?

Amazing place! We came here after a hike as a family. So family friendly and easy going! Beers were very reasonably priced. And the staff were gracious and outgoing. We can’t wait to go back!
Supporting fan forever of Northway Brewery for many years. They were a 1st “responder”, activating safe sales during the initial Covid shutdown. Never SO happy to support those who supported us. (Nurse here)…Continuing to enjoy the simplicity of a regular staff, good beers, sunshine and SO love to attend the music venues.
Tasty beers with a chill brewery vibe. Lots of seating inside and out
Damn good beer. This place has a GREAT selection of flavors and a beer for all tastes. Highly recommend The Northway Avenue Of The Pines. SUNRISE iPA is a close second, followed by the Albatross. Don't miss out on picking flight or two that suits your tastes, and enjoy the music and open air ambience both indoors and out. Friendly bartenders and a committed Cadre of regulars top off the participation and visitablity ratings - so go out and ENJOY.
Had a great time here! There aren’t a lot of breweries in the area and I’m so glad we chose this one. They offer a flight of 4 beers for $10. I personally enjoyed the Infinite in Wisdom IPA the most and took the Perfect Day Pilsner home for our dad. We visited in the late afternoon, and the place was clean and has a very chill vibe with the locals hanging out. They offer outdoor seating as well. They also have food options here! I personally didn’t eat anything but I’ll try something next time. Will definitely bring my friends here to try this place!
Cool vibe at this brewery. Very reasonable prices. Good selections of brews. Enjoyed the soft pretzels too! Part of Adirondack craft brewery trail. If your not site what to get, the flight is the perfect option! Say hi to Maggie while your there. Fyi she loves the soft pretzels too!
Nice selection of IPA. I had the Albatross and my wife had The Avenue Of The Pines. Both were very good. The also had a food truck on site provide by Streaking Moose BBQ. I had the Carolina Gold tacos. Very nice flavor. This place is dog friendly so my two year daughter was in heaven petting and meeting all the dogs.
Had an awesome time here. Staff is great the beer selection is huge and worth it. The food truck is great. Try the peanut butter beer , the Creamsicle and the bambino
