The Lake George Steamboat Company, established in 1817, operates three historic ships: the Minnie-Ha-Ha, a rare steam paddle wheeler; the Mohican, with over a century of continuous operation; and the Lac du Saint Sacrement, the largest cruise ship in inland New York State. Daily hour-long lakefront cruises are available, as well as longer specialty and entertainment cruises. The company also offers private event rentals.
We absolutely loved our trip on Lake George aboard the historic cruise steamboat! The atmosphere was truly unique – it felt like stepping back in time while enjoying the stunning lake views. We especially appreciate that the company has been operating for so many years, preserving this wonderful tradition. Thank you for an unforgettable experience – we will definitely be back!

Beautiful 90 plus day on a crystal clear lake. Lake George offers a variety of pleasures. Day trips to mini or full vacations. THIS shouldn't be passed up. If you want a outing for not high cost value with memorable times and great views I recommend this company. From 1 hour to a full lake excursion they offer so much in mind. From just a boat tour to fireworks or other themes this is such a worth while endeavor. It's got so much to offer for the value. Super happy I took my wife on the lake cruise it was 5 hours but such a beautiful day and so many great views. Def will again and other things we saw that's worth doing. Parking was 20 and it's first come first serve so early is better than late :-)
Wanderer — Google review
Wish the seating was alittle nicer but given the history of the boat itself I can understand. All in all the boat/lake tour was cool. But the guy thats collecting the money for parking needs to either take a happy pill or go find another line of work. Outside of that it's worth taking a tour on the boat.
Brian R — Google review
Great experience. Was happy with boarding- speed and efficiency. Ride was smooth.. narrative was interesting. Food service was a bit expensive. Pictures taken prior to trip were very pricey. I would have purchased just one..but the package couldn't be broken up? Good overall
Carol D — Google review
It was a beautiful day to enjoy the boat tour! The Captain offered a nice narrated tour as we set out for our hour long excursion. It was very interesting to hear about all of the famous people that have been enjoying this beautiful lake since the 1800's. They don't rush you on the boat and they don't rush you off either. That's very important to me as I don't move as quickly as I used to! All of the staff were friendly and it's a wonderful escape into history and how this town became such a hotbed for tourists! The next time we visit, I would love to try the longer tour with the included meal! The Rails to Sails is a wonderful way to create a day travel package and well worth the trip!!!
Veryvictorianlady1 — Google review
We got the last 1 hour tour of the season. It was a nice slow and smooth ride around the southern part of beautiful Lake George. The fall colors were gorgeous and we even spotted a bald eagle. The captain did a great job telling us about the history of the lake and about the many beautiful homes along the way. Restrooms, food and drinks for purchase were located on the bottom deck. We sat on the upper deck. It was enclosed and warm inside. It was windy and too cold to sit outside that day. There is free parking across the street and a nice souvenir shop as well.
Sharon B — Google review
On a beautiful, warm early October day, we arrived at Lake George, a brilliant blue lake underneath an equally brilliant sky. The tourist crowds had dispersed in the preceding weeks. We enjoyed a 60-minute gentle tour of the lower end of the lake, narrated with just a touch of dry wit by our captain. The views were lovely, and if we had the chance to do it over again, we would have booked the more extended tour or the dinner cruise.
Bill B — Google review
The kids and I loved the little song played with the steam before we got on the boat. They took a group pic of us before we got on the boat which was cute. And it was an additional cost of $45 (package). We went on the Minnie Ha Ha. It was nice sunny day. Took out and kept us entertained with cute little facts. The drinks and food is not free . When reading on the website it makes it seem like light refreshments were included with the tickets when purchasing online. Which it’s not. Other than that it was a nice experience. You can even go down and see how the boat work with steam. And of course the view was amazing.

Ski club
Nestled at the base of the stunning Adirondack Mountains, West Mountain is a renowned 125-acre ski resort offering a plethora of outdoor activities. With 32 trails catering to all skill levels, from beginners to expert skiers and snowboarders, as well as a tubing park with five chutes, it's an ideal winter destination. The resort also features a pro shop and bar/eatery for après-ski relaxation.
Amazing place for those who love skiing. Or even for those who want to learn, they have an incredible structure, with practical classes with incredible prices, and phenomenal structure, and they also have a wonderful bar and restaurant, and if you prefer you can take your food that still has a place to store. Really fantastic the whole structure.
Gilmaro B — Google review
Awesome spot for families and beginners! West Mountain is perfect for snow tubing and learning to ski. The tubing lanes are fast and fun, and the magic carpet makes it super easy to keep going. The beginner ski slopes were wide and not intimidating. Great experience all around!
B G — Google review
What an amazing experience! West Mountain clearly outshines the rest when it comes to their fall fest. So many diverse vendors, we were able to find something for the whole family. Plenty of activities for the kids to do with free yard games and unlimited bouce house runs for 5 dollars which also comes with a pumpkin to paint. The staff are top notch could not ask to have been greated by friendly people and very helpful in explaining everhtbing they have to offer. Ran out of time the first day, coming back for a second.
Adam — Google review
My kids love skiing here! Great programs and well maintained. They also allowed a client of mine to take his Senior Portraits at this location.
Angel W — Google review
This is a small, local feeling ski mountain with some decent trails and good mountain operations. West Mountain is a great spot for learning how to ski or getting in some good night skiing. The trails are always groomed to perfection, and they have a bunch of little side trails and jumps. They also have a great ropes course and a very cozy lodge. However, the snow making could be a little better, conditions aren't always the best, there are some unexpected ice patches, and the lifts aren't the best, as they are slow and sometimes see some breakdowns. Negatives put aside, this is still a very good mountain with plenty of great stuff to do. I recommend going here whether it be for some nice skiing or summer activities!
Lucas ル — Google review
A beautiful mountain with a fantastic group of people. Our family of seven chose the chairlift ride to the summit with the picnic lunch . A couple of our riders had never been on a chairlift before, and the team was super patient and accommodating . The lunch was above par!! we hiked the 8/10th of a mile loop at the top to the Crows nest. Everyone thought it was well worth it.
Corey H — Google review
We did the picnic luncheon and had an excellent experience. Very nice employees, beautiful views and a great lunch!

Who knew there was a ski mountain so close to lake George? Now I do. This was a terrific family ski area. To be honest we only ended up going here because we snoozed and Gore mountain tix sold out president day weekend. But we didn’t feel bad. This place was great for my 4 year old! Who struggled down the bunny slope. But loved the tubing. I recommend reserving everything as far in advance as possible. I only found out there was another lodger/side of the mountain after I left.

Drive-in movie theater
Located in Queensbury, the Glen Drive-In Theatre offers a classic movie experience with double features shown on two digital projection screens. Moviegoers can enjoy top-notch concession stands and old-school speaker access, as well as FM reception for better audio. The drive-in provides a relaxing and entertaining atmosphere for families and even allows well-behaved pets. With affordable prices and double features every night, it's a great spot to enjoy movies under the stars in an old-time setting.
This place was an absolutely wonderful experience! It's cash only at the entrance, but you can use your card inside to purchase anything yummy you may want! Very cool experience listening through the radio and I honestly doooon't think that the speakers outside worked, but don't forget to shut your headlights off!
Isvara C — Google review
I haven't been in many years. Brought my daughter opening weekend. We had a really great time and the entire staff was fantastic. Didn't realize the poles no longer had those metal radios, so we rented one from the snack-shack on site. $10 is a bit steep to borrow a radio, but we still enjoyed our time here.
Sean J — Google review
A really unique experience that I am grateful to have the opportunity to enjoy. The little speakers are slowly dissipating with limited spots that still have them, but there are radio stations that will play the sound for the corresponding movie directly in your vehicle. Bathrooms were functional, not the cleanest, but not terrible (we went to a kids movie with a LOT of kids present that night).
Jenee O — Google review
Every year I go there and enjoy watching the movie on a big outdoor screen. I actually love that place. They have friendly people that work there. They have best popcorn in actual butter and other great food. They do maintenance improvements to keep it clean and up-to- do. It is great to have a drive-in in our area. We r lucky!!
Judy P — Google review
Overall a great place to go. They still have vintage speakers, however, only a select few remain. Clean and plenty of space. Staff at the snack bar were friendly and quick, even for custom orders. Price is good for two movies.
Jacob G — Google review
Two theaters. Both showing latest movies. Bring a Boombox. Don't rent their radio for $10. I bought a Boombox at Walmart for $40 but there are cheaper ones. Food prices are reasonable. The old fashion speaker was just for show.
Alan M — Google review
Was such a cute date night for my boyfriend and I until a family parked in our spot right up on us. The kids were tossing around a glowing football and halfway through the movie the parents started allowing the kids to URINATE right outside our vehicle. The movie was a great movie choice and the rest of the visitors were respectful. Just be careful where you park and please follow the rules to allow the proper distance between cars and for the love of god don’t be gross. This is a place where people put out chairs and blankets, don’t pee in the lawn. I had a dog with me and she was more behaved than the family next to us.
B L — Google review
Really good time here, they had a special retro night with outsiders and lost boys. We enjoyed both movies. We got there about a half hour or forty minutes early and found a good spot no problem.

Miniature golf course
Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf of Queensbury, NY offers an exciting pirate-themed mini-golf experience with 18-hole courses featuring waterfalls, caves, and landscaped settings. Voted as one of the Best Miniature Golf Courses in the Capital Region, this attraction allows visitors to immerse themselves in the adventures of rowdy pirates while navigating through streams and encountering buccaneers and pirate ships.
Went over after getting some ice cream down the road at Martha's and it was a nice little course. There were 4 of us 2 adults and 2 preschoolers who had never been to mini golf before. The young guys working were pleasant and there was no line when we arrived. We chose to do the captains course and hole 16 was lots of fun for the kiddos as the ball went from one hole down to another green. There was also 2 caves and waterfalls on this course, lots of fun. We will most likely go back and do the other course at another time.
Dallas G — Google review
The scenery was beautiful and the theme is fun for a mini golf course. I did the captains course, and I will say for an easier one, it was pretty challenging. If you don't want to feel rushed, I heavily recommend coming around opening when it is less busy. Also, $13 a person was a great deal for 18 fun holes.
Alissa D — Google review
About 30 of us went during a family reunion and bottom line is, we had a great time. The staff were great and allowed us to break up into 6 groups of 5. We played the Black Beard's Course which was in very good condition. There was a good mix of easy-ish holes and somewhat difficult holes. There is plenty of parking and easy access. I highly suggest you use bug spray/cream as there is lots of water and dense vegetation.
Colin G — Google review
Beautifully designed. 2 - 18 hole mini golf courses. Clean , well maintained and nice landscaping. Waterfall!! Friendly and helpful staff and nice restrooms. Front course more challenging. If you play both courses, second round is discounted!!
Gina V — Google review
We loved playing mini putt at the Pirate Cove. The décor is just so nice. Thank goodness there were lots of shade places because it was a very hot and sunny day. At the end of the course, everyone gets a little price.
Cristine G — Google review
Okay first of all, mini golf is pretty popular pastime in the Lake George area. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that this location has TWO courses! That’s 36 holes total! I believe the prices were $10 per person for one course or $16 to do both. The courses were very clean and had a lot of greenery and shade on the property. The pirates theme is fun and some rounds take place in a cave. Both courses can be completed in about 1.5 hours, but definitely come during a less popular time if you don’t want to be stuck waiting for groups in front of you. My family has been coming Lake George for so many years that I’m surprised that we’ve never been to this location before! I’ll definitely return with my friends.
Juliann N — Google review
Nice attraction in Queensbury NY. We played the 18 hole course and we had a blast being non-golfers. The course has some difficulty when playing. There are several courses shaded, but be prepared to be under the sun.
Ralph C — Google review
Excellent place for anyone! Two different courses - one easy, the other a little more challenging. So much fun!

The Fun Spot in Queensbury is a popular family park offering a wide range of activities for all ages. From mini-golf, laser tag, and an arcade to go-karts and skating, there's something for everyone. The indoor entertainment center features a vast roller rink, mini-golf course, LED laser tag arena, playground, go-kart track, and ninja obstacle course.
The Fun Spot is a perfect place for a family to spend a whole day having a blast. We enjoyed some rollerblading and laser tag as a family. The kids then had fun with the indoor jungle gym and ninja warrior set up. The arcade game variety are decent and modern. For us going during the winter break from school, it was busy but didn’t feel crowded.
Matthew C — Google review
Visited on a Thursday and it was pretty empty. No wait times. Go Karts were fun but the track was kinda short. They also did have a small oval for smaller kids that couldn’t drive the adult karts. Laser tag was good. The playing field was two floors which was nice. Guns and equipment was pretty new. Arcade area was small though. Had a jungle gym for smaller kids 58” and shorter. Ninja course was pretty challenging even for adults. Qbix machine was pretty neat. Their golf course was top notch. Had koi fish in the pond and decor was awesome. I recommend this place for all ages. Staff was super friendly also.
Denny W — Google review
My son had his 7th birthday party here for the second year in a row and everything went really well. From start to finish it was ran very smoothly, all staff was friendly and it was an overall great experience. My son hear an absolute blast and can’t wait to go back! Our party coordinator, Brandon, was unbelievably amazing and very helpful in every way. He made everything stress free and was on top of all the things!
Brittany Y — Google review
The roller skating was very fun and laser tag was also VERY FUN for the kiddos, we could see all of what they were doing and how they had to play. The ninja and arcade was also very entertaining and we loved The games. The staff however wasn't that kind. Most of the staff were very conformable around people while on the other hand some were rude. The food was made right except we had to give the cheeseburger back because of how cold it was. The waiting time for our food was roughly around 15 minutes. I would recommend the fun spot to people with little children and mostly fun for all ages
April L — Google review
This place is awesome, 2 boys 10 and 12 had more fun here today then at 6 flags yesterday! Enough here to do to spend the day and its AC inside
Nicholas P — Google review
The staff was so helpful and friendly! There were so many options to choose from, they really made sure we got the best bang for our buck. Go karting was by far the kids favorite. My 6 year old loves the mini racer. Laser tag seemed to complicated for those under 8. Roller skating was so fun (and they offer blades to) The ninja course you need shoes for. It’s small but fun! The VR system was an experience and well worth the money. The golf course is 18 holes and so fun! We could have spent all day there but packed everything in, in 5 hours. Well worth the $50 fun pass, we spent per kid to experience all the things there
Chelsey G — Google review
Had an awesome time there with a couple of my friends. The workers are very respectful and kind. Definitely making another trip this year with 10+ people so we can take over the karts and have a big race. It was so much fun especially with just 5 people. Money wasn’t a problem but def would be nice if a ticket for karting was $5 not $10. I feel personally if tickets get lowered more people would wanna bring big groups in. Just trying to bring 10 people is $200 for 10 lap race. It’s fun don’t get me wrong but def doesn’t make me wanna do more than 1 race.

There are 5 of us planning on going to The Fun Spot tomorrow (6/7/2025) to celebrate my daughter's Sweet 16 Birthday 🥳 Looking forward to Go Karts and Laser Tag and Roller Skating!! Fort William Henry Museum, originally constructed in 1755, is a legendary British fort that played a significant role in the French and Indian War. The museum offers two tour options: a general history tour where visitors can learn about the area's history and interact with costumed reenactors, and a ghost tour featuring spooky sights and stories of supernatural encounters.
It was a great recreation of the original fort. It has a lot of great exhibits. Living historians there to give you demonstrations and information. Very great detail throughout the entire fort. Explaining living conditions, hospital care, and the different jobs others would complete throughout their time there.
Ryan J — Google review
Drop into and experience 1755. The Tour Guides are very knowledgeable and have a good wit. For accessibility there are some areas that are difficult to traverse and some buildings that have stairs only access. I did not feel as though I missed out on anything during my visit. They do have a staff operated outdoor elevator so those in wheelchairs can access the fort walls. You're ticket is good for 2 days so you have plenty of time to explore.
Landon M — Google review
One of the best forts I have ever been to. Just visited this place as a spur of the moment visit while traveling through back home from Maine to Ohio. This place does not disappoint. The guides who also do reenactments and demonstrations were very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. Would love to go back someday.
Missy M — Google review
Really enjoyed our time there. The tour was really interesting and we loved the musket and cannon demos. Very unique. We went in Oct and the backdrop of the fall leaves… it was breathtaking. Highly recommend.
Amy L — Google review
We did the haunted tour. Very informative. The guides were great, funny, and told spooky stories. They even gave the option to be in the basement with the lights out. Definitely recommend if you're into history and/or the paranormal!
Jessica H — Google review
What a wonderful experience! All ages in our group of 6 and we loved it here. From the stories told on the guided tour to the cannon demonstration. I could not find one thing to say wrong about this place. We learned so much as well. Also if you are a fan of the last of the mohcans you would also be a fan of this stop on you trip to the lake or village.

I love old forts and historical places this is one. Nice quiet day good staff good service great time beautiful location great view a little pricey but I loved it old style dress and reenactment history tours lots of information on the time period and fort history and friendly staff good verity of historical artifacts and with fort ticonderoga north of lake George

If you enjoy American History and/or the story (&movie), Last of the Mohegans, put this on your To Do list. Our guide was engaging and fun. He and his Captain were very informative. This is the fort from the book/movie. Purely historical. No elevators. When we went, the buildings were so hot. (No ac in 1755).

First time to the new digs. A huge tasting room with tables as well as the bar. They also have an outside tasting area that hosts live music from time to time. Their gin is still a very nice sipping option, and the lemon- and orangecellos are worth a try.

Cool little distillery off the beaten path. Their cowboy coffee was amazeballs!! They're getting ready to expand which is awesome to hear about any local spot. :) We did the tasting, a cocktail, and tour. Nevin was really enthusiastic and knew his stuff! Will definitely check it out again!

The place was beautiful and the drinks were great but the service was awful. The bartender looked miserable and it took 45+ min to get a drink. Wish they had more than one bartender when advertising a food truck and a musician on a summer weekend.

Very nice old school Amusement park feel. Use to be storybook land. Decent rides, nice atmosphere, good family fun.
Steven E — Google review
In the summer, this park may have 4 or 5 star potential. But on a Saturday in late May, with many attractions closed, low staff causing sluggish operations, and generally abysmal food options (typical for Six Flags Properties), this park sits at a solid "okay". It's not a bad place to spend an afternoon, though - but that is all you'll need to experience it all. I did appreciate some theming, especially in the Ghost Town area. There's a bit of history on display which makes the park feel more "quaint" than "small". Check it out if you're in the area but I wouldn't prioritize it over the other New England options.

We had an amazing time at Six Flags Great Escape on our visit on August 12th. As a family with a 5-year-old, a 3-year-old, and a 1-year-old, we found it to be the perfect size for our kids, though the 1-year-old was a little too young for most of the attractions. My kids absolutely loved exploring all of the little storybook houses scattered throughout the park. It was a really unique feature that kept them entertained for hours. It was also incredibly convenient that the park was within walking distance of the Great Escape Lodge, where we were staying. We're used to going to Dorney Park, and while Six Flags Great Escape is a lot smaller in comparison, you still need a full day to explore everything. My daughter and I had a blast on some of the bigger rides, like the Bobcat. We also made our way to the water park, which was a huge hit with the kids, who loved the large pirate ship play area with its two slides. They couldn't get enough of them! Our only wish is that the park and especially the water park were open a little later. There just wasn't enough time to do everything we wanted to in the water park. Next time, we'll definitely have to plan for a two-day trip to make sure we can do it all. We highly recommend Six Flags Great Escape as a fun-filled day out for families with young children!

Awesome experience!! We rather do the 3 hours drive to make it to great escape than going to our local six flags park La ronde. Easy parking, easy access, no wait time, fun staff. Only down side is the overpriced mediocre food. But they let you go in and out the park as you like so it's not a big fuss .

Our family has been visiting The Great Escape for many years. We love coming in the fall for Fright Fest. I would definitely still recommend this but it has been going downhill. The amount of characters is less, the amount of rides and activities is less. Trick or treating for the younger ones is very small. Hours open are shorter. Security are really not nice and should be looked into. Staff working with characters and doing shows were incredible, very good with drawing people in and very friendly. Concession and ride staff were also great. The train conductor was great, you could tell he enjoyed his job.

We visited Six Flags Great Escape in Queensbury, NY, with the kids, and the experience was mixed. Parking is far from the entrance with no shuttle, and tickets for our family of five would have been over $600 at the booth—twice the online price—so we had to stand in the blazing sun trying to buy them on our phones, with no benches or shade nearby. The park felt dated, some rides were in questionable condition, and lines to the rides that were worth your while were long. Certain rides also cost extra, music was extremely loud, and seating and shade were very limited. Younger kids enjoyed the kiddie rides and the new wooden roller coaster, but older kids and adults found the park small and underwhelming. Bathrooms were okay, and food and drinks were overpriced. It was supposedly Octoberfest with a giant beer mug display, and while we did not expect beer at the park, we did hope to see the German food. Apparently Octoberfest was just meant the giant beer display and blasting German folk songs, that’s it, nothing else. It seemed strange. Overall, it might work for a quick one-day trip or as part of a Lake George visit, but for the price and experience, we wouldn’t recommend a dedicated theme park trip. Perhaps it’s because we visited plenty of other theme parks and have something to compare this one to but that’s the feeling we left with.

Me and my family were having an excellent time enjoying fright night when we witnessed one of the employees treat a little child like a criminal and separate him from his family. While waiting in line for over an hour for a ride the child in front of left the line to use the restroom. When he returned it had turned 9 and the employee refused to allow him to get back in the line to join his family (after already waiting an hour) because the line has closed. Multiple employees were called over and all refused to allow this little child back in line. The lack of customer service is disheartening to say the least. If this is how children, families and customers are treated I will make sure me and my family do not come back.

First time ever here today and had an enjoyable fun nice day here! Cute how there’s the storybook section. Liked how the waterpark entrance was inside the park.

Prospect Mountain, a beloved landmark in the Lake George region, offers stunning panoramic views of the area. Whether you choose to hike or drive up the mountain, you'll be treated to breathtaking scenery along Veterans Memorial Highway. The 3-mile steep climb is rewarded with picture-perfect vistas and a glimpse of the historic Prospect Mountain Cable Incline Railway. Families may prefer the easier Black Mountain trail nearby. Plus, seniors with valid New York State identification can enjoy free vehicle access on weekdays.
You honestly can’t beat the view from Prospect Mountain- absolutely breathtaking. It’s the kind of place that makes you pause and just take it all in. Feels so raw, untouched, and peaceful. Whether you hike or drive up, the reward at the top is the same: pure beauty. A must-visit if you’re in the area!

It was a sudden decision to go on a trip to Lake George, but before that, we thought of visiting Prospect Mountain. With that instant decision, the journey began. It was a fairly long drive, and as we drove up the mountain, the beauty of the hills kept captivating us more and more. Surrounded by enchanting scenery, the higher we climbed the towering mountain, the stronger the feeling of joy became. On that sunny afternoon, looking down at the lake from such a height felt truly magical. The speedboats gliding across the water looked like white swans, and the interplay of sunlight and clouds created a fascinating dance of light and shadow. It felt as though we were wandering in some fairytale kingdom. If possible, I would have loved to stay there the entire day, immersed in that breathtaking beauty.

Breathing taking view of beautiful lake George and Adirondack mountain ranges. It’s one of the best places to visit fall colors too. You can hike upto the summit and it’s accessible via car too. There is no parking at the summit, it’s just a pick up and drop off point. However, the parking lot is 10 mins hike , but it’s a steep slope, won’t advise for someone with knee issues. There are benches and shed at top for a good picnic. A must visit place if you are visiting Lake George.
Pratik B — Google review
The view is beautiful, worth the time. The trail is 2-3 miles long but there is a road for people that simply don't want to take the trail route. There are 4 overlooks for cars and a parking on the fourth included on entrance (10$). There when you park it is clear where to go to the fifth outlook easily being the best one. There are some trees here and there blocking the view but there are easy go arounds for that making it a must see attraction when visiting Lake George.

Love this winery! So many amazing wines, I’m not into dry wines but the ones I tried were incredible. Everyone was super helpful, we had Ben mostly helping us and he was amazing! We bought more bottles than intended just from his tips. Can’t wait to come back next time we’re in Lake George!

Adirondack Winery truly made my dad’s birthday so special. This was our second time coming back after a year, and Amber was still here just as hilarious, welcoming, and entertaining as ever. We were helped by Maya and Ben who were wonderful. Maya was sooo helpful helping my extremely indecisive family choosing wines for our flight. We laughed, we ate, and we learned about the wonderful wines the Adirondack Winery offered. Thank you Maya & Amber for the cherry on top of a wonderful weekend in Lake George! We’re so excited to share the multiple bottles we got with friends and family after this trip.

Million Dollar Beach, also known as Lake George Beach, is a popular destination located at the southernmost point of Lake George. This 1,700-foot golden sandy beach offers a picturesque view of steamboats and provides amenities such as lifeguards, restrooms, showers, and a parking lot. Open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend between 8am and 8pm, visitors can enjoy swimming in designated areas when lifeguards are on duty.
Great spot… We came in the beginning of April on a cool overcast day, so it wasn’t exactly beach weather. I’ve been here before and it’s a great spot. Plenty of parking with nice clean facilities and friendly staff. The sand and the views are spectacular… Worth going out of your way for a visit.
Chris M — Google review
We visited million dollar beach and we were overall very happy with the cleanliness of the beach and water. There is a 10 dollar cost to park your car but still worth it. The water is low so it’s enjoyable for people of all ages. The lifeguards can get very annoying with the blowing of the whistles, especially for what seems like Minor offenses, but they are just doing their jobs. Definitely recommend this beach
Sal U — Google review
Imagine you need a calm, peaceful place where only the sound of ocean waves, seagulls, and children’s laughter surround you. Or maybe you’d like to enjoy a small picnic with your friend circle or take a cruise trip. In that case, Million Dollar Beach is a wonderful spot. I didn’t want to return home, it felt like I should stay a little longer, gazing at the friendship of the sky and mountains, mesmerized by the rhythm of the water’s waves.
Maria O — Google review
We had a great time as a family at Lake George's Million Dollar Beach. It's a really nice place to swim, and we felt comfortable with the good lifeguard supervision in the designated swimming areas. We would definitely come back again when we're in the area. We visited on a Monday (8/11) in the middle of the day, and it was quite crowded. My only minor complaint is that there wasn't a lot of space to lay out towels in the sand, especially near the main walkway and closer to the lake. There was more space available on the side of the building, but those areas didn't have lifeguards, which made it a little difficult to find a spot to relax while still being near a supervised swimming area. Despite that, it's a great location that's easy to get to, and the locker rooms and bathrooms were clean. Overall, we had a fantastic day and would recommend it for a fun family beach trip.
Jordan K — Google review
Lifeguards are present, but basically unnecessary for actual safety. Just there to enforce the way too many rules. No balls, no floats, no games, no fun. “Swimming” area is WAY too small and shallow. Might be worth it if your kid is 5 or younger. Not for anyone who likes doing more than sunbathing or standing in knee-deep water.
Kedrick S — Google review
Clean beach & changing rooms, attentive lifeguards and plenty of parking. Skip the snack bar: 56 minute wait in line for a drink

we went end of august. paid $10 to park. nice beach. great views of the lake and mountains. water clear and clean. swimming area roped off and on shallow end only (because it drops off to 30 feet), good for little kids. we walked over to dog beach which allows you to swim out further, but no lifeguard. there’s place to grab snacks. there’s restrooms and outdoor shower/faucet to wash feet.

This place is sooo much fun! Room after room with a variety of display style’s & collectibles. I found the dealers working Friendly & Helpful. I like the discovery aspect, every turn is a new opportunity for treasure. Don’t skip the attic! I appreciate that they keep the new stuff in one area & vintage mostly the focus. And i’m kicking myself for not grabbing that 1950-60’s dress! Will definitely be back too next time i’m in town.

Had an amazing experience. Stopped by at random one day and spent over an hour in the store. The people at the front desk were kind and it is clear that they build a community here. It is truly like a museum where you can touch everything. They have everything you can think of. It is a bit cramped but that was not an issue for me as I had so much fun exploring. You must add this stop to your next trip!

There's so much stuff in here you would need a few hours to see it all. It has 3 floors and is huge. They have anything you could possibly want. It reminded me of a flea market with how cluttered it is but it was still fun and great as a random stop. Happy Shopping!
Jawana S — Google review
I enjoyed the outdoor shopping set up. I found a nice variety of items from a vendor named Peter. Indoors there’s many vendors with a large variety of items. Lots of treasures to explore. I was a little disappointed in the customer service in this shop. I was juggling several items with no offer of assistance. I brought my items to the front counter. When I was done shopping, the items already all put in a bag. I would’ve liked to look them over again. Furthermore, the items such as a large picture with a glass covering were not wrapped. I had to ask for wrapping of the items. It’s a nice shop, but the customer service could have been better.

Adventure Family Fun Center is the ultimate destination for indoor family entertainment. It offers a wide range of attractions suitable for all ages, including outdoor go-kart track, bumper cars, laser tag, arcade games, and mini golf. The 1,000-foot outdoor go-kart track is particularly popular in the area. Located near Lake George, it's a great place for kids with well-maintained mini-golf courses and various other activities like laser tag, bumper cars, and rock climbing.
We went to Adventure Family Fun Center with our children and my oldest son’s best friend today as part of our son’s birthday present. Our youngest is autistic and we knew he probably wouldn’t tolerate wearing the vest. My husband and I had planned to take turns playing laser tag while the other person hung out with him. They offered to let him join us in the arena without the vest to explore the arena while we all played together. They even voluntarily turned the music volume down for his comfort. We had so much fun playing together and he really enjoyed checking out the arena and looking at the lights. He was full of happy squeals and giggles. To the staff of the Adventure Family Fun Center: I wanted to personally thank you so much for your kindness. It is rare that we are given the opportunity to allow our son to enjoy something in a way that’s tolerable to him. Most places are not willing to “bend the rules,” which is totally fine and we are used to taking turns. However it was a pleasant surprise and truly a blessing to be able to enjoy laser tag together. Your gesture today brought me to tears and earned you a lifetime customer.

Best place to visit if you are around Lake George especially for the kids. They have almost everything that your kids will enjoy. Mini golf, go kart and arcade games. The mini golf is awesome and well maintained course, definetly entertaining. They also have laser tag and bumper cars and even rock climbing. Employees are courteous and helpful and honest, my wallet slipped off my shorts while riding the go cart and they returned it to me with the cash untouched. Even the owner gave us free tokens that night. Great place to take your kids.

Laser tag and go karts are great. My granddaughter loves the bounce houses. Young kids enjoyed the bumper cars. There are places to sit at the snack bar area. Indoor go karts are awesome in the winter. We have never been there in the peak season but we have never had to wait long to get on the go karts or laser tag. I would imagine it gets crowded during mid summer but don't know for sure.

We had such a great time with the go-carts the bumper cars the games. So much fun and one little spot. The staff couldn't be nicer serious ly it made it worth the 2-hour trip. We will be visiting again and again. Thank you for a lovely time.

We originally drove out to go to great escape but the weather made the park shut down & honestly that was okay because We ended up finding this place & it was so much fun! They had go carts both inside & outside , a golf course, laser tag, bumper cars, bounce house, & a bunch of arcade games with tickets! The price is unbelievably cheap. The staff were so nice & all had great customer service! The only thing is that some of the games were out of order so we had to play the same ones over again. But this place is definitely a good time, with friends or family!
Marie — Google review
The place is very fun. The go karts are fun to drive and same with the staff. Arcade is pretty fun and the bumper carts/tire carts are fun too. The prices aren’t that bad for the stuff that you do there but it’s your opinion what you like. The laser tag is probably fun but never tried it. I highly suggest going to this place to have fun cause there is mini golf as well.

Ahh, Adirondack Winery was such a great spot! We did a wine tasting and a whiskey flight on a rainy Saturday night in April. Although we made reservations, we likely didn’t need them since it was early in the season and outdoor seating had just opened. That said, I can imagine it gets busy in the summer—so booking ahead is probably smart. Everything was very well organized, from the flights to the food options. The selections were great, and we really enjoyed chatting with the staff. Hearing the stories behind the wine bottle photos added such a personal and fun touch. It’s a unique spot with a lot of character—definitely one we’d return to!

One of the best wineries I’ve been to. We had the watermelon wave and a flight of mimosas with the pretzel board. Everything tasted delicious. Not your typical winery. There were mixed drinks, different types of flights not just wine and a great selection of food including shareables. The staff were so nice. The bartender made the best mimosa flight. Just delicious. I’ll be visiting every time I’m in the area. Great gifts too!

Top of the World Golf Resort is a stunning destination for golf enthusiasts, offering breathtaking views of Lake George that enhance your experience on the course. The layout features a mix of challenging holes, including some unique designs that hint at its long history. While navigating the sloped greens and tricky fairways can be humbling, players will appreciate the well-maintained conditions throughout their round.
Was in Lake George for Americade 2025 this is a must on the list of scenic spots. Fantastic view of the lake and the mtns in Vermont. Didn't pay golf or attend an event but highly recommended checking out the views.

I don't even know where to begin.... I never leave reviews, but today's experience was really something.... The service was horrible, the staff was unfriendly and rude. Especially a staff member named Nathan was VERY racist!!! He followed us around throughout an entire course and constantly made aggressive remarks about what we should and shouldn't do. They also gave us oldest and dirtiest golf carts even though there were plenty of new carts available. The elderly lady at the check-out gave us an interesting attitude as if she was doing us a favor. I will never go back to a place with employees like that.
Darima S — Google review
I was really disappointed with our experience at Top of the World Golf Course, especially for a special occasion like Father’s Day. At nearly $70 per person, I expected much better. The golf carts were filthy—looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in days—and the greens were in terrible condition. To top it off, the staff at the pro shop was unfriendly and unhelpful, which made the whole experience feel even more frustrating. Definitely not worth the price or the trip.
K — Google review
Had our family golf tournament there. Loved the views and layouts. The service however was maybe the worst I have experienced on a golf course. No drink cart or water on the course and not a pleasant experience with any staff member. From the bartenders to cart attendants they made it seem like they were doing us a favor by playing there and patronizing their course. I don't think I've ever left a a review on a golf course before but felt compelled to after such a low level of service. If you're in town and want to play golf I suggest looking elsewhere.
Eric B — Google review
Despite the amazing view this course stink no difference between fairway and rough ....tee box weren't mowed for what looked like 2 weeks. My golf cart didn't exceeds 3 mph.....and all that for 52 dollars for nine holes...I will never return to this dump
MowUrLawn S — Google review
Just came by to play golf, staying elsewhere in Lake George. Workers were very friendly but this was probably the most strangely designed course I’ve played in my life. Greens were in decent shape and the fairways and tee boxes were fine, just cut a bit too high. With that said, several holes on the course presented layouts that were pretty outrageous and fairways that never lended a flat lie. The 14th is a par 5 with a dogleg of about 100 degrees, 80 feet downhill with several big trees blocking an approach. Many of the greens were severely sloped and the 17th was by far the smallest I’ve seen in my life. Decent value for the price but if you’re looking for a more pleasant and standard round, this is certainly not the place.

The course and greens were in good shape but I didn’t enjoy the layout. A lot of blind holes and close fairways - lots of errant shots from other fairways. It might be more enjoyable a second time when you know what to expect. A failure was course management. We had a Golfpass gift card - I called and was told sure, bring it in. We drove an hour and the guy on duty said it was processed on a different computer, that person wasn’t in, so he couldn’t accept it. There was no water on the course - it was a hot, sunny day. There was no ranger - it was slow play and no one there to move folks along. If you are looking for a course in the area, head to Cronin’s in Warrensburg.

Terrible course. Service sucks. Think they can charge more money than they are worth. Came back again 10 months later, still charging too much, people are still rude. Don’t come here

Despite minimal shade, the well-maintained course provides an enjoyable experience for families and golf enthusiasts. We had a great time here. The course was very well maintained and it was just challenging enough. Prices were very reasonable and we got a free ice cream at the end that was delicious. Highly recommend and we would return.
Cathy M — Google review
Deceptively challenging course. Don't let the lack of bells and whistles along the holes leads to underestimating difficulty, especially on the back (uphill) 9! Misting stations are available throughout. Soft serve FTW!

A hidden gem for miniature golf in the Lake. George Glen falls area. Very reasonable prices and it's nice you get an ice cream cone at the end. Well maintained course.

Great price, very nice course. Small but challenging. And the ice cream at the end made my day great.

Excellent miniature golf course with reasonable prices that currently include a free ice cream. Like or check in on Facebook and get sprinkles for free as well. The waterfall and flowers are also quite nice. Misting stations are spread out through the course if you get hot. Highly recommend brining your family here.

Updated review 2020: We came back again still great! Wash your balls and cool off under the misters again! Original review 2019: Great spot. Nice price. BRING CASH or pay $1.75 on the ATM. Cool water hazards with nets to fish your ball back out. Well worth the stop. Free ice cream with every game.

Hudson River Park, established in 1998, spans 44 acres and offers a variety of recreational activities along its six-mile stretch of the Hudson River. The park features amenities such as a boat launch, basketball court, softball field, pickleball courts, playground, picnic area with grills, and restrooms. It is open seasonally from April to October during daylight hours. Visitors can enjoy the calm and peaceful waters for activities like kayaking and paddleboarding.
Nice small, but deep boat launch with dock. No problem launching my 22' deck boat. Pretty area of river to see fall foliage or swim in the summer. You must get off I87 at X18, then make first right back a few miles to the park and river.

Usually a big park enthusiast, but there isn't much to recommend this park. I would go so far as to say that this is better off just left as wilderness. Not very pretty.

Great spot to launch some kayaks and enjoy your day. Saw some Canadian Geese and a Great Blue Heron, and loved the simple novelty of kayaking under the Northway!

Nice park if you have kids. For adults, they have 2 tennis courts. There is another parking lot if you continue driving, near to waterfront and it is beautiful. Perfect for kayaking, jet ski and small boats.

Water was super calm, peaceful, and warm for a nice early evening paddle. First time going here and I’m impressed!! Of course it’s winding down of the summer season so it wasn’t overly crowded. Nice location on the Hudson.

This area is good for locals who know how to access it. Can be difficult to find if you don't know the area. It's usually not busy and rarely people there. There's access to a boat launch a walks distance away. (To the Hudson River.) It is not a good launch for kayaking because there is a lot of boat and wave runner traffic here.

Hiking area
Rush Pond Trail is a versatile outdoor destination that offers activities for all seasons. From mountain biking, running, and hiking in the warmer months to snowshoeing and cross-country skiing in winter, this 2.6-mile trail provides a range of recreational opportunities. The well-marked and maintained trail features easy to moderate terrain, passing Rush Pond and offering glimpses of local wildlife. It also connects to smaller trails, adding excitement to outdoor exploration.
July, 2025: The main trail is a wide gravel trail running roughly north south, starting at the parking lot at Gurney Lane and running 2.4 miles to Fox Farm Road (Just north of Aviation Road.) There is another parking area off of West Mountain Road, south of the Gurney Lane lot. The trail is mostly flat, but has maybe 3 fairly steep, but short hills. It is heavily shaded, with no real views of the pond, unless you leave the main trail and walk to the pond's edge. Eventually you will reach a wooden bridge with some nice views. This is a very family friendly area. You will find all ages enjoying the trails. Plenty of bikes and dogs. The real fun are the marvelous single track trails, many of which run roughly north south. Most are very smooth, with few rocks or roots. If you are new to single track riding, this is the place! Mountain bikes are the best choice, but gravel bikes are entirely suitable. Even a road bike with fat enough tires would be adequate. I was there a few days after some rain, so the trails were nearly perfect: packed down and smooth, and no mud or puddles. A few days of sunshine later I went back and was met with drier, sandy conditions that caused some tire slip on my 38 mm tires. There are many, many, banked S-turns and well as series of "bumps" (think pump track) that are thrilling and so much fun. I recommend Foxy at the south end of the park. It's a short but thrilling roller coaster of a trail. Also notable is Lucky 13, a continuous series of banked S-turns. It was like a water slide, except on a bike. There are maps at many of the intersections but they somehow do not list all the trails nor do they have the “you are here” spot marked.I suggest using an app like All Trails to familiarize yourself with all the trails.
Michael M — Google review
Nice wide trail that is very easy to follow. Well marked and well maintained. Trail is 2.6 miles one way and 5.2 miles total. Easy to moderate terrain. Trail goes along Rush Pond, then crosses over Rush Pond and ends in a suburban neighborhood. The trail offers many chances to see local wildlife. The trail is used by many for walking, running, and bicycling. There are many mountain bike trails that come off the main trail. Easy parking next to the Northway. Room for about 10-15 cars. Cell reception is very good on the whole trail.
Ryan M — Google review
Nice trail running from the End of West Mountain road, past Rush Pond to Farr Lane. Path is wide and well maintained, but does have hills. 2.6 miles each way. (5.2 round trip.) Has a couple Adirondack style bridges to cross which were cool. Good place to get out and go for a walk or to take a mountain bike.
Amanda B — Google review
The ends of the trail are fairly close to apartments and some busy roads. Once you get away from there, the trails are fairly nice. Wide trails that are well maintained.
Gordon J — Google review
Beautiful trail! Went in October and it was crisp and you could see the lake through the trees. The trail was gravel and easy to follow, well marked, mostly flat with a few hills. Highly recommend for those looking for a relatively easy walk.
Grace W — Google review
I love this trail. Lots of side branches, and a nice stream runs throughout the preserve.

Always a great hiking experience! Snowshoeing, mountain biking trails too. Excellent variety of terrain and views. Multiple trailheads make for easy access.

The park is falling into disrepair. Many rides were closed when we visited at the end of July (the height of the season, everything should be working). Some of the rides and decorations are clearly getting the minimal amount of upkeep. Paint is flaking badly on the bottom of the pools and they should’ve been stripped and repainted long ago. The decorative lights on many of the rides weren’t working at all. The layers of dust and grime make the rides look pretty shabby. They’re painting the old story town stuff to make it look nice, but I don’t think anyone really cares about that. I think the word has gotten out to the rest of the public too. Lines for the rides were short, which helped offset our general disappointment with the place. It was still a fun day with the kids, but we’ve decided that we’re probably not going back again. There are better amusement parks that only require a slightly longer drive. There are tons of better water parks. The prices have gotten so high that this is no longer a good entertainment value.
Eric G — Google review
Great just please clean the pools. I had a ton of band-aides coming flying with the waves in the wave pool. Also hair . I love the wave pool please keep it clean 😊 prices could go down with the food , also shouldn’t have to wait 4 hours between meals with the passes ! Please have life guard on duty at the bottom of the kids water slide near the wave pool. We do love the atmosphere & all the attractions for the littles especially with timber town and the water park is our absolute favorite for the kiddos ! Hot tub needed for adults 🤣
Nichole N — Google review
A great place for families. A little pricey but that's the world these days, the reusable cups are definitely worth the buy. The water park is the best part. Bathrooms were as clean as they could be with so many people in and out of them, maybe they should hire a few more maintenance people. Otherwise a pretty good time and Martha's is right across the street!
Brianna P — Google review
Other than more than a few rides being closed for maintenance, it was a good time. The bees are horrible at the drink and food stands though. My partner got stung so if you have a bee allergy stay away from sugary drinks and bring your own food.
Stephanie L — Google review
We attended on a day of fright fest. Several rides weren't open which was disappointing. As I watched the change over to fright fest I was disappointed. I was surprised to see characters walk up behind people, especially smaller children and just scream. I've been coming to the Great Escape for decades and have never witnessed this before during fright fest. I didn't find this behavior scary or frightening, it was annoying and somewhat cruel, which isn't what fright fest is about. I will say some of the costumes and makeup were outstanding.
Betzy K — Google review
Really went downhill quick this year. Many of the popular rides have been out of service (seemingly) for much of the season and the workers are very unpleasant. I will not be renewing my family's season tickets for 2026 as I'm being asked to pay full price for a 1/3 to 2/3 of this theme park with zero refunds or perks.

Had to go to 4 different places to get my sodas and then on top of it my mom had fallen and nobody did anything. Woman running ride didn't come over to check and ride almost hit my mom in the face. Oh and then there's the fact that their response was to "increase training" no mention of what they could do to fix it for us. I highly discourage you from going if you're disable as they won't do anything to help you if you get hurt in any way

Lake George Expedition Park is a charming retro kiddie park that offers a variety of fun and whimsical rides, a charming steam train through the woods, storybook displays, and play areas for children of all ages. The park features Dino Roar Valley trail with life-size dinosaur models, dino nests, fossil dig sites, and stage shows.
Great place to bring younger kids, but not really teens. The rides are made small & very eclectic of the 1950s when this was Magic Forest. The dinosaurs are very cool, they move & roar, even though they blinked too much. The snack bar was reasonably priced compared to many of the other attractions in the area, but again the food is catering to children. There is also an amazing wood sculpture!
Nathan J — Google review
We visited Expedition Park on a field trip for my son’s preschool a few weeks ago. It was small for an amusement park but was just the perfect size for our 2.5 year old to explore everything! He loved the toddler friendly rides and we all loved walking through the forest to see the dinosaurs. The little town with the school, firehouse, church, etc. was also adorable and fun to check out. Great for families of young children!
Meghan M — Google review
Great Experience at Lake George Expedition Park! We had a wonderful time at Lake George Expedition Park! The Dino Land section was super fun and very kid-friendly, with plenty of rides that are perfect for young children. The realistic dinosaur displays make the park feel natural and immersive. There’s lots of seating, clean restrooms, and nice gift shops to explore. The staff was friendly, and the park was clean and well-maintained throughout. Luckily, all the rides were included in the ticket price, which made the day flow smoothly without extra charges at every corner. They also offer gem mining and magic shows for an additional cost if you’re looking for extra activities. Only downside: the cost of admission—$39.99 per person for ages 2 and up. We paid about $170 for 2 adults and 2 kids (our infant was free). A bit pricey, but overall worth it for a fun and memorable family day. Definitely recommend for a one-time visit—the kids will have a blast!
Syed — Google review
A nice old fashioned park. Lots of shade, places to sit. A great deal for $40/person- the rides are all free. We were here from 10:30-3pm. Magic show at 11, 1 and 3. Fun for kids probably ages 3-10.

This place is a hidden gem that has all the nostalgia of the days of circuses and steel made amusement rides built to last!! It says small town love of fun written all over each detail from the Hansel and Gretel style buildings to the one man magic show to rides like the scrambler and the whip!! It was our first visit to the magic forest and the roar valley included in ticket no need for bracelets or extra tickets for rides, everything included. We loved the no lines and had some rides to ourselves we even got to ride a couple times in a row. This place has something for everyone young and old!! Parking lot is huge and no fee to park, and they had many different food options as they can with every to kids like. My son is 9 and he loved it here! Westayed for 3.5 hours!! Highly recommend as it’s perfect for families and not the giant place like a six flags much more home feel here.
Christina D — Google review
A good price for 3 year old daughter and almost 4 year old niece. They had a BLAST!!! They loved pretty much every ride. Would definitely recommend it! Not much of a wait, if any for the rides. They enjoyed the Magic show too and the food prices are pretty good! The bathroom had a ramp, but it was a little steep so not sure how someone in a wheelchair would do.
Sarah G — Google review
My son is obsessed with dinosaurs . This was a hit for us ,along with the rides ! We go every year. It's a small parks so rides aren't far away from each other but the Dino part is definitely a walk ! We shared French fries that were great ! My son's favorite "ride" was the slide ! I only give it three stars because the ride workers do not seem happy to be there , no smiles at all besides a few .
Julia B — Google review
Today, we visited the Lake George Expedition Park. The first thing I noticed is that the ticket price on Google is $26.75 per person. However, we were surprised to find it was actually $39.99 a person. This resulted in spending an extra $70 to enter that we were not planning on. My daughter was thrilled that they offered her a birthday pin so that everyone in the park would know it wad her birthday. When I visited the park back in 2019, it desperately needed work. The rides were all in rough shape, half of them were closed due to not enough staff, and the dinosaur valley part of the park was an additional cost. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the park had made some upgrades, including a new roller coaster ride, and thay the park admission included both areas of the park. I did have concerns over the fact that some of the ride attendants were not checking to make sure children or parents had secured themselves properly. When speaking with another attendant who I later learned was head of safety.. he shared that that was actually a requirement that attendants could not lift a child onto a ride, but we're expected to be checking that they were properly secured. Dino Roar Valley was a blast. The kids enjoyed getting to see all the animated dinos. I only knocked it down 1 star due to the ticket price not being accurate and the attendants not checking that children were properly secured **this was not all attendants** Overall, my children had a blast, and we would definitely go back!

A beautiful place, and by beautiful I mean the attention, the decoration, the ambiance. Live music, country, with excellent service. The girl who attended me was very, very professional and friendly. I particularly recommend the Sacandaca Sunset wine as a red wine and Melody as a white wine option. Thank you for such a beautiful experience.

I recently attended a Winery in the Woods private event for my friend’s bachelorette party. We were warmly greeted by our driver/host, Kevin, who escorted our group by hay wagon to the secluded site in the woods. Every detail was perfectly curated from the impressive charcuterie board to the selection of wines. Our wine expert, Lynn, stayed to tell us about each wine, pour drinks and make us feel especially welcome. We had two guests arrive late and Kevin brought them by golf cart to meet our party. We also ordered food from Giuseppe's in town. Kevin brought the food to our site for no extra charge. Surrounded by a beautiful brook, rock ledges, a fire pit and nature, we had the perfect backdrop to celebrate our bride-to be. I highly recommend having Ledge Rock Hill Winery provide the setting for your next special event!

There's a couple of games stores and a trading card shop, movie theater is nice and has reclining seats. Spencer's is cool too. Ollies can sometimes have some very strange but funny things, food court is an absolute disappointment though.

Kinda reminds of the late 80's/early 90's small town mall experience, nice nostalgia. A lot of closed/out of business stores. Chinese place was the only spot open in the Food Court. $3.00 for a drink from the vending machines in a practically dead mall is absurd! Best thing is the 99 Restaurant near Planet Fitness. Great meal & Thea was a great waitress. Mall is a nice place to kill some time with the family.
Michael B — Google review
Mall would be nice, but they stated that they were more concerned with their floors than accessibility for those needing a cart for their items or children ... so we weren't able to shop here. Had to go to Walmart instead. Its nothing personal against staff at this location, but I cant imagine why a mall isn't designed with heavy foot traffic in mind?? What does the appearance matter if the mall closes due to lack of consumers?

Great place to visit when your looking for something to do with the family. There's an Arcade, place to get a quick massage to relieve some of that stress from spending $. Then there's Target to pick up those things you might need at the house before you head home. KEEP STAYING PAWZITIVE Y'ALL 👍.

Had a great time here! There aren’t a lot of breweries in the area and I’m so glad we chose this one. They offer a flight of 4 beers for $10. I personally enjoyed the Infinite in Wisdom IPA the most and took the Perfect Day Pilsner home for our dad. We visited in the late afternoon, and the place was clean and has a very chill vibe with the locals hanging out. They offer outdoor seating as well. They also have food options here! I personally didn’t eat anything but I’ll try something next time. Will definitely bring my friends here to try this place!

The staff was warm and welcoming, and the entire process was smooth and hassle-free. A special shoutout to our driver—they were absolutely amazing! Friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced, they made us feel safe and relaxed the entire time. They even pointed out some great sights along the way, which really added to the experience. The boat was in top condition—clean, comfortable, and perfect for a day on the water. The marina and surrounding grounds were beautifully maintained, and the view was truly stunning. Being out there felt peaceful, refreshing, and a bit magical. Highly recommend this company if you’re looking for a top-tier boating experience. We’ll definitely be booking again!

My bf and I rented a two person kayak. This was one of our favorite parts of the trip. The view was beautiful. The process of the rental was extremely easy and was seamless and the prices were very reasonable for the rental. Would definitely do this again when we’re back.

Jared and his team are amazing and so informative and accommodating. We are visiting from NJ and they told us all the awesome sights to see and places to visit. They are paramount with explaining safety on the lake in a fun and informative way. Their lake front location is so calming and serene but also wonderful for families to visit. 10/10 recommend! We will be back!

The Minne-Ha-Ha Cruise is a must-do experience when visiting Lake George. Operated by the Lake George Steamboat Company, it is one of the oldest steamboat outfits in America. The Minne Ha Ha, an old paddlewheel boat reminiscent of those on the Mississippi, offers a delightful cruise with cheery tunes played on an authentic calliope that amuse both young and old.
We had such a great time on the Minnie ha ha. Staff was excellent and so friendly. The views were beautiful and the caption shared lots of fun facts about lake George and the houses on the lake. I’ve done Minnie ha ha a view times now and will continue to every time we come!

Family fun for all ages! We surprised our friend and the Capt. even wished him a happy birthday over the intercom 🎂Funny and interesting tour of the historical Lake George, beautiful views, and drinks on board! 🚢⚓️☀️ Purchase tickets ahead of time, less than $50 for two adults. Stroller and wheelchair accessible, shaded areas and indoor seating near bar. We love you, Minnie-Ha-Ha!

I loved the boat ride along the Mini Ha Ha. You cant beat the views of Lake George. Our Captin was informative and very funny. He suggests places to eat as well as a history of the homes along the lake. I highly recommend. Safe travels.

This one hour ride isn't enough time! Such a cool experience. The steamboat, the scenery, the funny captain, everything ties perfectly together. I've been twice and would gladly go a 10th. The Minnie-Ha-Ha is a must when you're visiting Lake George.

Haha. Went on this boat with 9 adults and 8 crazy kids on a summer Friday afternoon. But it still didn’t feel too crowded. Really great historical facts from the captain as we cruised the southern part of the lake. Such cool history. I can’t wait to watch last of the Mohicans again. They also had a snack/bar area. I got the local ipa as I always do. And a hotdog. And movie-theatre-quality nachos. And another ipa. Good time.

The Minne Ha-Ha Steamboat ride with the Lake George Steamboat Company at 57 Beach Road, Lake George, NY 12845, was such a wonderful experience. The ride itself was relaxing and fun, offering beautiful views of Lake George and the surrounding mountains. Watching the steam rise from the stacks was fascinating, and the old-fashioned charm of the boat made the whole trip feel special. They played Kaleidoscope on board, which was such a cool and unexpected touch — it really added to the atmosphere. The staff and crew were so friendly and made sure everyone had a great time. If you ever visit Lake George, this is definitely something you should do. The Minne Ha-Ha is an experience you’ll always remember.

The Blackburn Gallery, Inc. has been open since 1986 and is located in Queensbury, NY. It showcases a variety of local artists' works and also provides custom framing services. Customers have praised the gallery for its exceptional framing skills, with one customer mentioning how the owner, Andrea Blackburn, expertly handled a special project involving matting and framing photos from the 9/11 Memorial. The gallery is also known for offering unique art pieces that make for great gifts.
Christmas experience at The Blackburn Gallery - it is my go to gallery for framing needs. They provide many options with expert advice so you cannot go wrong. The end product is always absolutely gorgeous. Browse the gallery and you will find unique gifts. For my grandson an airloom ornament, my mom a beautiful framed work of art, and for myself unique earrings. Oh yes, they also framed two drawings. Prices are reasonable, service is efficient, professional, and with great care.

I brought a very special request to the Blackburn Gallery. I had taken pictures of my friends names from the 9/11 Memorial in NYC. I had three photos and I wanted to have them matted and framed together. Andrea Blackburn picked the perfect matting and frame color and material for the project. She appreciated the significance of the project and did an over the top job. The result was even better than I had hoped. If you have a special project or are looking for unique art pieces, go to the Blackburn. It's always worth the trip.

I am new the the area and lucked out finding this stellar gallery/business. I had an very large unusual item needing repair and framing. The owners gladly took on the challenge and did an exemplary job. They even made a special trip to get it to me in their trailer as it wouldn’t fit in my car or their own. They then lovingly hung it for me! I can not imagine a better experience and cannot recommend The Blackburn Gallery highly enough. Returning soon with another piece.

Nestled along the picturesque shores of Lake George, Fort William Henry is a captivating destination that transports visitors back to the 18th century. Originally constructed by the British in 1755, this historic fort was tragically destroyed just two years later during a brutal conflict with the French. A replica was built in the 1950s on its original site and now serves as an engaging living museum where history enthusiasts can immerse themselves in tales from the French and Indian War.

The Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark offers casual suites, some with themed designs, within a resort featuring an indoor water park, arcade, and restaurants. The lodge is located near various attractions such as Birch Bark, Glen Drive-In, and Martha's Dandee Creme. The water park includes a big kid play area, three slides, a lazy river (though lacking in tubes), and a body surfing ride suitable for younger children.
Me and my family of 6 had a great time. The entire indoor park was a great time. My older kids wouldn't get out of the Lazy River and my youngest 2 loved swimming in the kiddie pool. My whole family enjoy the refreshing giant buckets of water at the top of the slides. The food at the Hurricane Bar& Grill was surprisingly great. Nothing taste frozen first or mircowave. Everything was fresh and the room my kids didn't want to leave. We played our Switch at night on one of TV. We booked the Triple Queen. Everyone had plenty space to a have dance party before bed. We will definitely be back.
Nikki G — Google review
Stayed here for business while making it fun for the kids, and overall it was a solid experience. The lodge is spacious—our room had a full kitchen, two bathrooms, and plenty of room for the family. Starbucks in the lobby is a nice perk, though it closes from 12–4, so plan accordingly. The water park was a hit with the kids, but it’s extremely loud—earmuffs are a must for little ones sensitive to noise. Forgot flip-flops? No problem, the water park store has them… but be ready for steep prices. Most things here come at a premium. Food, snacks, and coffee are expensive, and they don’t accept cash anywhere except the coin-operated washing machines (go figure). The rooms were mostly clean—microwave could use a better wipe-down—but nothing alarming. The location is convenient if you’re visiting Six Flags—it’s right across the road—but other attractions like mini-golf or ice cream require a short drive. Overall, great for a family getaway with kids, but be prepared for the higher prices and some minor inconveniences. Still, the spacious rooms and fun water park make it worth a visit.

We stayed this weekend for a soccer tournament with a group of 50 parents and kids. Both parents and kids had a great time. The rooms were adequate. The indoor water park was exceptionally fun. But the standout moment was when MaryAnn was able to help facilitate a gathering on the 2nd floor foyer for our entire group to enjoy pizza together. MaryAnn went above and beyond, and for that we thank her. The entire staff was accommodating & friendly. We will be back again next October!

We recently stayed at the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark (8/9 to 8/13) and had a wonderful family vacation. Overall, we had a great time and the kids absolutely loved it! The best part of the entire trip was the indoor water park, which was a huge hit with our whole family. Our kids are 5, 3, and 1, and there was something for everyone to enjoy. The water park was very clean and well-maintained. We felt very safe, and the lifeguards were super friendly and attentive. The staff at the resort were also incredibly accommodating and friendly. We had a slight issue with the refrigerator in our room, but as soon as we reported it, the maintenance staff was there within 20 minutes to fix it. This kind of quick service really made a difference. While we had an amazing time, there were a couple of minor things to note. The rooms could have been a little cleaner, and we found the food and other items at the resort to be a bit expensive. However, these small things didn't take away from the overall experience. We would definitely recommend the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge for any family looking for a fun and exciting getaway. The great water park and friendly staff made it a vacation we'll all remember!

Always have a great time we go every year. I do recommend, but sometimes the rooms smell like cigarettes. They are accommodating and change the room for you, but generally, a lot of of them have a Tobacco odor. The food is fantastic love the breakfast buffet and we always have a great time. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable

We have been there 2 times in the winter and fall with 2 kids under 5. All of us had a great time. Service is great and friendly. Rooms are clean, tidy and well stocked. Staff even tried to help us find our missing pony. Food is a little pricey but we were on vaca. Other options nearby if you're willing to drive off the resort area.

This was our second time staying here. We stayed from 8/24-8/26. This time was definitely a little more disappointing than the first for a couple of reasons. First we were upset that we paid for a package including the indoor water park plus the entire theme park which includes the outdoor water park, but the entire outdoor water park was closed Monday (8/25) which was our only full day there. That would have been nice to know about before purchasing the package. Next, it was very annoying that the Starbucks in the lobby was out of basically anything I asked for (oat milk, iced tea, chocolate chip muffin). Then we went down on our last night about 9:45 pm to play at the arcade. The arcade was supposed to close at 11 pm but for some reason the worker decided to close it at 10:30 so we had wasted points that we spent money on since we had a half hour less to use them than we planned. Then the vending machine on our floor (3rd floor) was broken. Also, something needs to be done about the floor in the indoor water park. It is so slippery I saw kids falling left and right in that place. It’s very dangerous. Lastly, they got rid of the inclusive breakfast buffet and now charge guests $10 per person for breakfast buffet. On the bright side, the room was pretty clean and they did replace the Johnny Rockets with a Hurricane grill & wings downstairs which was delicious and fairly priced.

We arrived at 4p and all 3 rooms were ready. They were clean but looked worn. The lights between the queen beds did not work in 2 of the rooms. The hotel staff were friendly. Starbucks was very reasonably priced. The hotel Waterpark was nice, but some rides were down. Our great grandkids loved the lazy river and surf wave. The lifeguards were spot on with safety as number one. All in all, it was a good mini vacation, even though hotel may need some updates. It was great location to Six Flags Great Escape.

Coles Woods, located near Crandall Park, is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts. It offers scenic trails suitable for leisurely strolls or more intense jogs in the summer and well-groomed cross-country ski loops and lighted trails in the winter. The location also hosts exciting races and community events annually. Visitors can enjoy wide walking paths and picturesque surroundings, making it an ideal spot for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing.
This woods is a true local gem. Beautifully maintained trails in a mature forest.

New to the area and live nearby so I walk on the trails frequently with my dog. It’s a beautiful place to walk when the weather is nice. But each week now that I walk I see a new tent up in the woods. There was a mattress on the side of the trail. A load of clothes with tags still attached thrown all over a bench. Trash just everywhere! It’s really sad. I’ve been warned not to walk in Cole’s woods alone and I honestly thought that was silly but lately with the increase of tents and creepy people I’ve seen, it makes me more apprehensive about going there now. Police don’t seem to care either. Sad.

Local legends says Bigfoot was spotted multiple times in these woods behind aviation mall. The elusive, prehistoric creature is said to frequent portions of upstate NY, and this location called “Coles Woods” is one of the hot spots of sightings.. I came here on a 30 day expedition to look for Bigfoot in upstate NY, or any traces of the elusive creature. Full of expectation and excitement, I arrived at the entrance of coles woods with my backpack, flashlight, binoculars, and heat sensing goggles. It was cold and the air was crisp, the perfect weather for Bigfoot, as he loves the crisp air. I started my hike after a small lunch at aviation mall, and sought out big foot. It was near evening, when bigfoot is most active. I trekked the frequently traveled trails, and the night grew and darkness was setting in. I heard a crackle in the woods behind me, and I looked quick with astonishment, but only to see it was 4 chipmunks chasing one another around along the stump of an old tree. So I kept looking.. I saw squirrels, chipmunks, a deer, and birds while on my expedition. But no Bigfoot. After 15 minutes of looking, I left the woods and went to the nearby Starbucks for a maple pecan latte. I was defeated. Local legend could be wrong, Bigfoot is not in these woods. Or he was just hiding on this cold, crisp and eerie fall day. Good spot for a walk.

Nice wide walking paths. We don't participate in winter sports but I believe they groom the trails for snowshoeing and cross country skiing. The only negative I can think of, is some people believe they don't need to obey the leash law. I don't want to be run up on by your "friendly" dog please! No fault of the town but the ticks are out of control this year. After a brief walk in Cole's woods (trail only!) I pulled a total of 4 ticks off of people in my party.

I don't have a ton of experience cross-country skiing however, this made for a nice easy outing. The trails were well groomed and the light made it possible to continue skiing into the early evening. Going on and warm day was wonderful and the surroundings were very picturesque with a lot of flat wide areas along with some rolling hill type trails as well.

Great place to walk or snowshoe. They keep the lights on till about 10 so it's nice to go for an evening walk. I just don't like the fact that a small part of the trail overlooks the Northway and you can hear a lot of traffic. But other than that very well kept trails.

A wonderful public park with groomed cross country ski trails for classic and skate. The groomers are volunteers. The trails are lit for night skiing. They have expanded the signage which seems to have prevented people from walking on the trails. They post condition reports just search for 'Friends of Cole's Woods'.

I was really impressed with the reviews of Northland Gardens till I did business with them. I ordered a Birdfeeder for small songbirds that is supposed to keep out larger birds (Cowbirds, Crows, Morning Doves, etc) that had great reviews. The Birdfeeder arrived and I filled the feeder with feed that the song birds in our area (Wrens, House Finches, Gold Finches, etc.) regularly enjoy. The feeder cage kept out the small songbirds and sat there for two weeks with no activity. I emailed Northland Gardens Customer Service concerning returning the product that would not work as advertised with so called "good reviews". I received no response after a week so attempted to email again with no response. I called the company and no on would answer the phone. I left two messages with no response. The third time I called Customer Service, the Customer Service Representative finally answered the phone. I addressed the issue of the birdfeeder no meeting advertised expectations of providing a safe feeding environment for the smaller birds and keeping the larger ones out but it did not work as advertised. He was very brash (arrogant) telling me I was probably using it incorrectly and it usually takes a month or longer for the birds to get used to it. Secondly, he said that he uses it himself and that works great for him and Northland Gardens would not return it. Well, I purchased a competitor's caged birdfeeder from another vendor, put the exact same birdfeed in it and it had Gold Finches on it five minutes after I put it out. This feeder provides the feed for the songbirds and keeps the larger birds out as advertised. Therefore, I would advise against using Northland Gardens because they advertise good characteristics of products that do not meet the customer's requirements and then refuse to stand behind their products they sell to the customer.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! Ordered bonsai pots online and received them with several cracks they claim are “normal”. They suggested I file a FedEx claim for the manufacture defect which is just wrong. They should be ashamed of their behaviour and unethical business practices.

UNBELIEVABLE!!! This nursery+ is like a botanical garden that you can shop in! Immediately upon arriving, my wife and I and our dogs were greeted by the owner. Since we'd never visited, he explained the layout a little bit and we started looking around. We entered a wonderful shaded room surrounded by bonsai trees of all ages, including two over a hundred years old each. We followed the mulch trail around the back and selected several fish and plants with Tracy's help. We got some other pond supplies and paraphernalia. Everything was more reasonably priced than even online stores. The fish and plants were WAY below online or big box store prices. We were both exceptionally pleased and are looking forward to visiting again!

We were there today (memorial day), they were extremely busy and the gentleman who was working did a great job, took the time to ask each and every person if they needed help and gave them his time and effort to help and answer their questions. For many locals, the park holds cherished memories despite its imperfections.

Ice skating rink
The Glens Falls Recreation Ice Center is a fantastic venue for local and regional hockey. However, visitors should be prepared for the bone-chilling temperatures due to the icy conditions. It's advisable to layer up, bring a hat and gloves, as it can often be colder inside than outside, regardless of the weather. In addition to hockey, they also offer free public indoor ice skating during the winter season.
It's a beautiful place to take the kids. They have adult skating time and open ranks where you can take your kids. Block time for skating with a "stick," which is cool. Get some hockey practice in.
Monica B — Google review
Not usually one to get on here & complain however I am very disappointed with my experience here. I’m a ex-hockey player who came here on holiday to skate with my nieces during free skate. Skate rentals were a nightmare! No instructions, no attendant, so it became a free for all of people grabbing their own skates trying to make the most of the hour. No organization, lots of missed matches pairs & VERY VERY dull skates. I had to swap out two pairs to get something that was remotely skate-able. By the time that was sorted it had eaten into a decent chunk of the skate time. My biggest concern are young kids & newbies trying to learn & enjoy the ice. I watched as kids wore two different pairs of skates on the ice praying they didn’t get hurt. I would only suggest skating here if you bring your own.
Juliana M — Google review
Great venue for local/regional hockey. Be warned... It's always straight to the bone cold (I know, the ice and all) so layer up and bring a hat and gloves. Even in the dead of winter, you will discover it's warmer outside than in... Always, no matter the weather. You're welcome.

Free public indoor ice skating throughout the winter. For the 2016-17 season, adults-only sessions are Tue (10:30-11:30am). Open sessions (adults and children) are on Fri (10:30-11:30am), and Sat & Sun (1:30-2:45pm). Sessions sometimes vary, so try calling ahead before you go.

It's a great place for kids (ages 10 and under) to have fun, get some fresh air, and burn off some energy. The extensive play set and swing set contribute to a wide variety of ways your children can enjoy themselves. The safety features include a ramp leading up to the higher elevations of the play set, a cushy playground mat that runs throughout and surrounds the equipment, and a chain link fence enclosing the area. My kids love it!

I love this park for my kids...no complaints! There are typically many other kids playing there too making it a very social place. The rubber squishy ground makes it very forgiving for kids who fall and the playground equipment is quite big and long. There are typically portapotties beside the park if you need the bathroom and there is a free book cabinet on the other side of the fence where you can pick up new books or drop off old ones to share with others.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Warren County Historical Society after being invited by their Executive Director, Teri. She gave me a wonderful tour of the museum, introduced me to the staff, and shared more about their mission and motto. It was a great experience—both welcoming and inspiring. Highly recommend stopping by to see all the incredible work they’re doing to preserve and share the history of our community!

The Warren County Historical Society is a nice place to learn about the history of Warren County. The museum is fairly small and consists of a few rooms of different artifacts from Warren County's past. Some of the more interesting artifacts are a mammoth's tooth, an axe from the French and Indian War, and souvenirs from the Storytown amusement park. They also display several paintings of American Revolutionary war hero Joseph Warren; who the county is named for. The museum also has a small gift shop that sells books, paintings, and photographs related to Warren County. In all it is easy to get through in about 20 minutes or less. The museum does present programs that are open to the public. Coinvent and easy to find. Check it out if you are from the area.
