Outstanding weekend at our new favorite place!! We had Phil as our guide and trip director the first day and Justin as our guide and Michael trip director the second day. Both days were amazing in the sense we felt very safe with our kids while having a great time with the guides. Amelia's pictures were outstanding and we bought them each day they were so good!! Lunch was a significant upgrade from what we are used to in West VA. The rapids were unbeatable, even though we did in fact beat them. Our Cabin Painted Rock was so far beyond expectations. Clean, cozy and very well appointed with everything you could need or want after rafting. Bravo to all of the team that we came into contact with, you are all first class and made our second daddy-daughter getaway so memorable for all. You guys have set the bar, and it is a VERY high bar. Thank you, John Romm 8/18/25
Such an amazing experience with this outfit and Phillip as a guide. We had an amazing time and always felt safe with Philip. His local knowledge of wildlife and cool stories was very entertaining. It perfectly broke up the trip during the few lulls between rapids. Lunch was great and the vibe was perfect. Highly recommend!
Unforgettable Adventure with the Best Guide Ever! We brought a youth group of teens from South Dakota and from start to finish, our whitewater rafting trip was nothing short of spectacular. The company was incredibly professional, well-organized, and clearly passionate about what they do. The safety protocols were thorough, and the river itself was breathtaking. Even the downpour in the middle of the trip was glorious! But what truly made the experience unforgettable was our guide, Hayden. Hayden was the perfect blend of expert navigator, storyteller, and hype man. He went out of his way to try to make the experience a special one and made us feel completely safe while keeping the energy high and the laughs consistently flowing. His knowledge of the river and its surroundings added so much depth to the trip, and his calm confidence made even the wildest rapids feel like a thrill we all could handle. If you're looking for an adventure that will leave you grinning from ear to ear (and maybe a little soaked), this is the company to go with — and if you’re lucky enough to get Hayden as your guide, you’re in for a ride you’ll never forget.
Our instructor Justin was amazing! Made the trip so much fun. Shout out to him for keeping us on the raft!! This experience was out of this world. 10/10 would do all over again!! Book with wild water Chattooga. I promise you won’t regret it
We had an incredible time rafting down the Chattooga with Wildwater! Our guide, Ethan, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, fun, and so encouraging. He even helped my 9-year-old find the confidence to do one of the rock jumps he was nervous about, and it ended up being his favorite part of the trip! The whole experience was well-organized, exciting, and memorable. We also got some amazing photos that we’ll cherish forever. Highly recommend Wildwater for a fun family adventure!
So much fun! Super nice people, great for a family day trip idea. Absolutely loved our guide Tony & made him our new family member! Rafting, a little swimming, nice snack along the way. 100% would go back for an all day adventure. Pictures were quite pricy but love the memory forever!
We did the 7 hour section 4 rafting trip with Justin as our guide. It was fantastic! Justin was very knowledgeable and great at what he does. We had a ton of fun experiences and made some amazing memories!
We took our annual boys trip to Wildwater Chattooga this year. 2 out of the 5 of us have never been whitewater rafting. All of us had a freakin blast! Our guild Justin and his safety team were all amazing. Very knowledgeable and focused on safety. Needless to say, we crushed the Chattooga! No serious injuries or anyone thrown from the raft. I would highly recommend Wildwater and Justin.

We just camped here over the weekend and it was amazing! Full grass and beautiful views! Super dog friendly so our pup was able to come along with us. For tent sites, there is no running water or real bathroom (just a small glorified outhouse.) There were some fire ants around so just be cautious of that if you are going but that would be my only con. It's in a smaller secluded town and they have everything around them you'd need for the weekend. They have their own hardware store, gas station, restaurant, and distillery. It was a lovely place and we will definitely be back to visit ! There are also some waterfalls near by to hike to !
We had a blast camping on this farm! We originally chose Site 3 with electric hookup but the weather was cooler than expected so we ended up camping by the lake instead. There was a wedding at the farmhouse and we could hear the music even down by the lake so it likely would have been a bit louder at that spot anyways. Plus Site 3 seems the be the only place campers can get potable water so it likely has a lot of people stopping by which would have our dog on guard. The grounds are beautiful and we loved just sitting and watching the lake. It was a holiday weekend so there were about 10+ camps around the lake and even more spread out on the property. We noticed a lot of people camp near the disc golf baskets for some reason, which makes it difficult to play the whole course. Some baskets are overgrown but still able to be played. We spent an afternoon at the distillery and brought home some good burning and brandy. The farm store is small but you can still grab some homemade items like cider and meat, and some camping basics. It was too early in the year for pick-your-own but we definitely want to come back when that’s available. Overall we enjoyed this camp and hope to return.
The venue is beautiful, well run, clean, and wonderfully located! The staff at Chattooga Belle Farm is amazing! I loved working with each one! Taylor was super responsive and helpful! We are so grateful our little elopement could be at such an amazing place! The food was delicious and the staff who served it and took our orders were kind, helpful, and worked hard to make sure it was just right!
We’ve worked with Chattooga Belle Farm on a few weddings now, and it’s always been a smooth experience. They’re easy to communicate with, show up on time, and handle their part of the day with professionalism! Weddings can get hectic, but they stay calm and focused, which makes a big difference for everyone involved-including us as fellow vendors. Even when unexpected things come up (as they always do), they’re quick to adapt and keep things moving. All in all, we’ve had a great time working with them and would be happy to team up again in the future.
I visited Chattooga Belle Farm for the first time recently, and I just loved it. We started off by checking out the distillery, then walked through their store which had all kinds of fun local items. Lunch at the restaurant was amazing—I had the grilled pineapple and jalapeño burger. Sweet, spicy, and super flavorful. The view while we ate was just beautiful. I think it might be part of their wedding venue, and I can see why—it’s such a peaceful, picture-perfect spot. I only took a few photos and wish I had taken more. Overall, it was such a great experience. I’m so glad we stopped by, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone in the area!
We stopped in the store and had lunch. Awesome food! Tried the peach wine. Tasted like a legit wine with peach flavor; delicious. And the view. We're from out of state and a local told us about this. Not disappointed!
Chattooga Belle Farm is an amazing day trip. They also have camping tent sites and mini houses for overnight stays. They have a great bistro, wedding venue, and distillery. The staff is friendly and attentive while also giving you the freedom to stroll through the orchards and vineyard to enjoy the country and mountain scenery.
This is a great place to celebrate July 4th fireworks. Our family also had a great time picking Pink Lady apples and figs at terrific prices. We plan to make both of these annual events!

Fun day hiking at Brasstown. This hike is EASY until you get to the last tiny staircase down to the final waterfall. We had a 1 year old able to do the whole thing (aside from the staircase) and a 9 month pregnant woman. 0.2 Miles to the first waterfall 0.3 miles to the final waterfall. There are 12 parking spots but more side parking prior to the lot. 1.7 miles of unpaved road prior to arriving to Brasstown location. No Bathrooms, water fountains, trashcans or paid parking. The path is well maintained for a hiking trail. Some tree roots, built stairs, stepping stones, staircase with logs. Upper 1st and lower 4th waterfall have a swimming area. The lower waterfall was our favorite. We hiked in on a 88 degree day and there was so much shade that it felt like a 70s day.
As most have said, the walk out is a combination of sort of easy to treacherous. We went right first because it is longer and we prefer to do the harder trail first. The first part is fairly easy, but be aware that there is no barrier between the trail and the cliff. Important if you have a daredevil in the family. Then come the stairs, about 150 in several groups. Two sets are more like ladders, but they have railings. The very last ends on the treacherous part, some layered rocks down to the water. I am amazed that this trail was made, and appreciative to whoever is responsible! We got viees of 3 waterfalls, including views from two very nice platforms. Of course what goes down has to come up, and we aren't 60 anymore. The left fork goes to the upper falls, about 60 or 70 feet of mostly a thin sheet of water over an almost slide. There's a memorial to a young man who died at 23 back in 1999. No history given, so we don't know if he died there, or that was his favorite place. The only improvement we could think of would be to add a toilet, or a port a John in the parking lot.
Nice, short hike to a beautiful waterfall. Trails are clear and very well-maintained. Overlooks are accessible down a few steps that are wide and manageable. There is a dirt road to get here but it is packed well so the dust isn't too bad. No entry fee...
Easy hike with rewarding views. About 0.1 mi up the trailhead you get to a fork where to the left is the upper falls trail, about another 0.1 mi, and to the right is the lower falls trail, which is 0.3 mi one way but feels like 4x the length of the other trail - probably because of the stairs and elevation changes. The upper falls trail has one waterfall and it’s beautiful. The lower falls trail has three waterfalls, two of which have overlooks, and all of them are gorgeous as well. There was plenty of parking in the parking lot by the trailhead, in October.
Gorgeous park. Turning right at the fork in the trail takes you down to a series of beautiful falls. Great for climbing, looking, and swimming. Feels like a rainforest. Trails could be labeled a little better but that’s not big deal. Dirt road entry so keep that in mind with your vehicle.
I lost cell phone signal about 5 miles before arriving. The road turns to a dirt/gravel road about 1-2 miles prior to the parking lot. There was a sign that someone wrote “falls” with an arrow pointing the direction to turn. The parking was free. The trail to the falls was short and well maintained. The overlooks were a little far but from the falls but there were some trails that led directly to the falls to see them up close. The waterfalls were stunning. There were 4 waterfalls.
Very easy hike! There are two waterfalls which are short walks to both of them. There were people that had baby strollers on the trail. Ample parking. After the paved road it turns to a gravel road...keep going to the parking area. We'll worth the drive!!
This isna very easy hike for the most part. One trail uses smaller wooden logs as stairs which you have to watch your step with. The views of the waterfalls you get are good. I have been back here a few times and it is always nice to see the change up during the different times of the year and changes over the years.

Beautiful setting with outdoor seating. Super cool distillery inside, as well! Ben is so so nice and friendly and funny! We had such a great time. We ordered the full flight and have enjoyed all the different liquors. Ben is very knowledgeable- he’s the master distiller and is clearly passionate about what he does! Would absolutely recommend, even for those that may not be *that* interested in liquor. Super great experience!
This is the best distillery I’ve ever been to. Ben and Eric rock. Super friendly staff and very welcoming atmosphere. They have plethora of liquors to try.
From start to finish, every experience at this distillery is exceptional. The craftsmanship is evident in every bottle, and you can truly taste the care and expertise in each sip. A special shout-out to Master Distiller Ben – his passion, knowledge, and personality are unparalleled. He’s a true artist in his craft, and it’s clear that he pours his heart into every batch and his care for his customers is so warming. This place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!
We recently had the pleasure of visiting the Chattooga Farm Distillery, and I've got to say, it was a blast! Located in a beautiful setting, this place is a real find for anyone who likes their drinks. Right from the start, the staff were super friendly and eager to show us around. They gave us the lowdown on how they make their spirits, and I gotta admit, it was pretty interesting stuff. And they went out of their way to make us feel welcomed, and tailored the tour to our interests. The best part was definitely the tasting. They had a whole collection of spirits to try, and the folks there really knew their stuff. It was cool to learn about the different flavors and techniques that go into making each drink. And they had a bourbon infused honey we got to try, an unexpected surprise:) What I really liked about is how they care about the environment and their community. They're all about using eco-friendly methods and supporting local farmers, which is awesome to see. All in all, our visit to Chattooga Belle Farm Distillery was a real treat. Whether you're a big spirits fan or just looking for a fun day out, I'd definitely recommend checking this place out. Can't wait to go back and do it all again! Cheers to Chattooga Belle Farm team for a great time!
We checked out this local distillery after lunch at the farm. These guys were so nice did a tasting and were very knowledgeable of the distillery. We had a great time.
We've visited several times over the past two years and have come away completely delighted! As mentioned before, the staff is fantastic, the scenery is beautiful and the product is top-notch. We just came away with a bottle of Carolina Spice which was amazingly smooth. If you're in the area, stop by and check it out. You won't regret it.
Literally the coolest distillery! We are from Florida and have gone out of our way twice to come here! Ben and Bryan are such awesome humans with a wealth of information. Even if you do not do straight liquor, listening to him is worth the burn! Great mixed drinks and frozen slouches, their liquor is an amazing addition to any drink, marinade or honey even!
First and foremost the spirits here are really good. Eric who hosted us for our tasting made it a very enjoyable experience with his humor and knowledge. The land the distillery and farm is on is so beautiful. It was a really wonderful afternoon.
