The Steam Engine show every father's day is fun to take your dad to if you want to look at old engines and see historically kept buildings from the Peterborough and surrounding area. $17 entry for adults helps keep the buildings genuine and the programs running.
A delightful afternoon at the Village for our first visit. Interpreters were friendly and knowledgeable and the time of year (September) made it less busy so we had more time to browse and chat without interruption. Definitely recommend it as somewhere to spend a few hours learning about our past.
What a great experience! Really enjoyed the day. The staff were AMAZING with their knowledge as well as their kindness. Immerse yourself in the 1880’s and see how much has changed AND how much really has not. Challenge - find the origins of IBM and the “first” computer…. You’ll be quite surprised as well as impressed at what our ancestors were capable of. We will be back again.
Just like any other similar museum, this is out in the open with different dwellings showing how life was a couple of centuries back. But what sets this open air museum apart is the knowledgeable staff and how friendly they are. It is not just the recreation of the old houses but also how people used to live with a musician, with a few people knitting etc. that takes you back into time.
Lang Pioneer Village is a wonderful experience. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and bring the history to life in such engaging ways. On top of that, they are friendly and welcoming, which makes exploring the village even more enjoyable. You leave not only having learned something new, but also feeling like you’ve stepped back in time with people who truly care about sharing the history.
Had a wonderful visit. It was fantastic talking to the manager in the lobby. All of the staff on the homes and businesses were well versed and so great to talk to. Watching the jacquard loom in use was a great treat. My daughter is now so inspired to approach the weaving guild in our home city. Was definitely worth the trip and rates as one of our favorite villages in the province. Thank you Lang
Love the dedication of the staff in preserving history and teaching the ways of the past. A must visit for everyone.
Really enjoy the tour of this Pioneer Village with all of the activities being demonstrated and sights to see. So much to see and experience, and the period dress of the participants adds to the atmosphere.

You MUST STOP here. This place is wonderful. This is their last season, so make it count. I’m visiting from the Palm Springs California area. I have been coming here since 2016. The sculptures are set beautifully in the landscape and outside. Every sculpture is unique and meticulously carved with such perfect detail. I’m going to come back again before I leave.
I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Beautiful art selection and a complete experience by combining it with nature. Calmness and relaxation from the moment we got in, they even offered umbrellas so we could appreciate the art under the rain. The owner is a lovely person. My son speaks about her still today. There were two ponds and she took the time to show them to my son, play with him, and answer all the imaginative questions a four years old could have. Amazing experience!
It's a great place. Not far from ptbo. It's very peaceful and all the art pieces are very good. Takes about an hour but it's worth it. Beautiful stones are carved in Zimbabwe from lava rocks. They are special on their own. I recommend you visit this place once.
Absolutely stunning outdoor Art Gallery with a kind and accommodating host. Beautiful art in a picturesque setting. I can wait to visit again. Thank you for your hospitality!!! My friends and I had a wonderful birthday celebration.
Absolutely stunning outdoor art gallery. Each piece was meticulously crafted and detailed. Definitely worth the drive. Admission is free but donations are accepted and proceeds go to a good cause. All pieces are also available for purchase.
This gallery featuring sculptures and other art created by artists from Zimbabwe is a little off the beaten track, but well worth a visit. Every year, the owner brings in an artist in residence from Zimbabwe. Apparently, he just left yesterday as it’s getting too cold! The 7 day access to the outdoor exhibits closes tomorrow for the winter season. However, the owner is still available by appointment.
We one over 20 sculptures and metal pieces from Zimart and we absolutely love them. Fran is a truly wonderful host, and her beautiful outdoor gallery is something that must be experienced. Can't say enough great things about Zimart. A must see if you are in the region. Can't wait to get our next piece. Here are just a few of the works we have collected over the years.
Awesome! I cannot say enough about this very unique outdoor sculpture garden, set in a quiet, green and magical rural location. The art pieces are stunning, sculpted from very unique Zimbabwean rock. The gentle Zimbabwean artist-in-residence took us on a wonderful tour and explained how he sculpted and "revealed" his pieces.

I've been lucky to have been coming here for 33 years. Amazing fishing and a great lake to explore. Lots of cool destinations that you can reach by boat. Head west to Bewdley or trek up the Ottonabe River to Peterborough for lunch. Go west through Hastings and trek to Lake Ontario. Historically this lake is extremely rich with early human activity. For thousands of years it was a crucial part of the Trent-Severn Waterway that early humans used to travel via canoe from lake Huron to lake Ontario. Artifacts found all over the surrounding area are as old as 11,000 years before present time. They've even found preserved caribou bones in a bewdley swamp. Rice Lake also has the only known example of a serpent shaped burial mound amongst 8 other mounds that were constructed over a 350 year period roughly two thousand years ago. I only found out about the incredible history of this lake this year and am so grateful to have been able to share the same land that mankind has for millenia. Lots to do here and the lake is 33km long. Watch out for markers that guide you over the sunken railroad tracks so you don't wreck your prop. DO NOT GO OUT WHEN IT'S ROUGH IF YOU'RE A NOVICE ON THE WATER!! This lake seems to claim a soul every year so please don't go out in a small vessel when it's rough & windy.
Sure! Here’s a short and simple review you can use: ⸻ I recently visited Rice Lake Private Resort and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was peaceful, the views were beautiful, and it was the perfect place to relax. I felt truly happy being there and would definitely love to go back again.
The lake is a haven of beauty and relaxation, where the natural landscape offers a serene escape.
What can I say - an amazing place to go and a fantastic place to fish. Oh and on top of this, you should definitely go here if you want to relax. It truly is such a great lake
I live in the area and think it's great! Great sunsets, hours of boating in many directions, but it's a bit weedy in some spots.
I spent the day at a beautiful cottage in Cobourg with gorgeous views overlooking Rice Lake. Sadly, all that I can mention at this time are the stunning views because due to poor weather while visiting, all water excursions were canceled. This review is to-be-continued.
Most beautiful sunsets .. fantastic fishing .. the lake was nice & refreshing a couple of weeks ago! A must see, close to Toronto
Nice lake for canoeing, fishing, and boating. A lot of motor boat traffic. Too weedy to swim much but still very nice. Great place to visit a cottage and hang out.

My husband and I had our wedding at Baxters Creek September 2024, and it was so perfect! Carolyn and staff made sure everything went as planned, and stayed on track. The venue is absolutely stunning, as well as many photo ops on the property. Us and our guests were very impressed with all the food provided through out the day. Really made our wedding dreams come true!
Loved this course. Staff was friendly, grounds were maintained well and had a variety of challenging holes. I will definitely go back.
Excellent course, course shape was amazing. Great difficultly level. Course staff was kind and informative. No issues with the Marshall's. Green speeds are like lightning nice and firm the grounds crew to a phenomenal job keeping the course in excellent shape. Big plus for me is that for one of the higher end courses in the area they are still accepting cash which personally makes me like this course even more. Would highly recommend if in the Durham region Kawartha lakes region worth the drive. Big thanks most certainly will be returning.
Great golf course all around!! 5 starts forsure, from clubhouse experience to course conditions, this course has it all! Played in late August with light rain the night before, my partner and I were late and they had no issue with it. Tee boxes were in fantastic shape, nice and flat tee decks! Fairways were well maintained, bunkers played nicely as well. Greens were quick which is always fun, but the consistency was a little off throughout the round (some greens were slower than others). The course layout is great, very challenging on some holes and makes you think twice about your shots. The perfect way to end the round or any wagers is with a "19th hole" island green, very cool concept that can make things interesting. (especially when you stick one to 10ft 🏌️‍♂️)
Great course. 5 stars for sure! Good price too with our coupon. We had some fries afterwards and they were unfortunately not so great. I think the oil was just turned on so they came out soggy and oily. A golf course this nice should have good fries, just some constructive feedback. Will be back!
Tremendous course! The conditions were great especially for October. The greens were are airrated but otherwise the course was in spectacular shape. Nice and firm and fast, tight fairways, penalizing rough. The bunkers are some of the best I've ever played on, including private courses.
Great course, challenging and fairways are in great shape. They have even thrown in a 19th bonus hole (beer hole). Some very tight and challenging holes.
Course was pretty wet, which we've had alot of rain so was expected. Very pretty course, well laid out and more than adequately difficult. One of the best experiences I've had at a golf course.

We met the new property manager today Dean He is very friendly took the time to talk to us and made us feel as cottage owners that we are important. My husband met Dean last year on the golf course when Dean was working on the grounds. We can see he cares as he is out on the resort regularly always doing something. We have been cottage owners for 4 years now and unfortunately seen many property managers come and go. We hope Dean stay with us.
For a stay and play, Bellmere offers great value and a beautiful golf course. The cottages have the essentials. Check-in instructions were clear and easy. Golf course was well maintained and challenging! Would recommend. Would return.
Unfortunately, me and our group will not book another stay and play package with Bellmere or Great Blue Resorts. My group and I had a Friday and Saturday round booked through Great Blue Resorts. We showed up for our tee time to find out our tee time on the Friday was mistakenly cancelled (on their end). This was at 2:30 in October so we booked a tee time at a nearby course and left to beat the dark. Before leaving, we asked if we could leave our bags and food. There was a prompt ‘no’ to that request. Played our round and had to hurry back because of 4 missed calls from the desk to get our keys before they closed. Came back and settled in at 8PM or so. Some food had spilt on some pillows— could front desk offer anything to help? ‘No’. Played our second round, had a great day. It took the course a month and a half to refund the rounds after 20 calls to different people. Every time we spoke, someone promised a call back. After the month of hassle the course ended up refunding us $20 a person for the round. We committed a work day to drive up and play, left the course to pay to play somewhere else and couldn’t even use a fridge for our food. Horrendous service. The GM Chris or Mike, were so condescending and cyclical, you might as well talk to yourself. I’m not asking anything for free, but I am asking to be treated like a customer. This review comes from a person who really enjoyed the first time I booked a stay and play package, so much so that we booked again the year after. You be the judge on how this was handled, but we were all disappointed.
Had our yearly boys golf trip, 24 of us. Rented out several cabins and they are very luxurious and spacious. Each having bbq’s and fire pits. The staff is always very nice and helpful. The course was in fantastic shape as always. Extra activities like the pool and tennis courts were perfect after playing a couple rounds. Having everything within walking distance made everything so convenient. Always a great time and thats why we always pick this spot every year. Not expensive at all and worth the price. Great golf, great views and dun atmosphere.
Went to do a stay and play. Course was very good. Accommodation was excellent. Nice new cottages/trailers. Well equipped and very clean.
I’ve only been there once to play the course. Loved it!!! Very scenic and the course is well kept. Greens are tough! It would be nice to clean up the facilities a bit, particularly the washrooms. I’ll be back!!
Just there for the golf. The challenging course management type of track was in great condition. Staff was friendly. Cart paths lay out was poor and directional signage is required.
We booked an overnight & 2 rounds of golf for 12 friends. We were not able to get possession of our cottages (4 to a cottage) until 3:00pm despite tee times at 1:45. Played 18 & arrived back at the pro shop short after 6:00pm to get our keys. The units were clean & tidy, but only had 1 cup coffee maker, no dish soap, one bedroom had one electric outlet on the opposite end so one of our group couldn’t plug in his Cpap machine. We couldn’t play the 2nd day due to weather but the club wouldn’t provide a refund, instead gave us a free future round voucher. This facility is an hour & a half + from our homes and to drive there & back to play one round is somewhat cost prohibitive. All in all, the experience was somewhat underwhelming!

A great look back into a formative time in Canada's history. The staff were very helpful and informative. It also helped that this was a piece of my own history. The mill was built by my 3x great grandfather and owned/operated by my 2x great grandfather.
My favorite quiet place to be.... Rushing water, sunshine, and serenity 💜
Great hiking and scenery. No longer actively maintained though.
Good place for swimming
Volunteers were super friendly and informative. It was a really cool and interesting experience...worth checking out!

A group of us enjoyed the couch potato package. The staff are all amazing and very accommodating. We were provided an early check in without requesting one. We used the outdoor heated pool and sauna both were clean and relaxing. The food is fantastic. The restaurants offer farm to table fare with gluten free and vegan options. Our group visited in September which is a quieter month. There were two seperate weddings happening and the resort was still quiet and all facilities and services were available.
You truly knock it out of the park every single time! We've attended four Wild Women Weekends now, and each one has been absolutely incredible. The cottages are beautiful, the programming is consistently engaging, and the food, well, what can I say? It's always outstanding. The spa treatment this time was even better than what I’ve experienced at some well-known spas, and your team continues to impress with their warmth and hospitality. Thank you once again for making our annual getaway so memorable. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
Came here for a wedding and boy, was I not disappointed. From the size and cleanliness of the cottage to the unbelievable food, we were impressed in every way. The wedding was spectacular, staff were wonderful, check in and check outs were a breeze and the grounds were well kept. Our cottage was stocked with everything from linens to toiletries to ice cubes in the freezer! Their Sunday brunch is to die for. Honestly, I would come here every weekend if I could and we hope to make this resort an annual vacation spot.
I recently visited Elmhirst for their Wild Women’s weekend. There were 7 of us. We have been to Elmhirst many times before, but only a couple of times since COVID. We like the property and location. The food was delicious. One of the employees apologized as she had booked our spa appointments around our activities so there wasn’t a conflict, but then our activity times were changed three times which meant some conflicts. Our spa appointments were great with good service and products. We were charged an extra $20/pp on our bill for the weekend with no explanation. When we messaged to inquire we were told it was for our welcome basket that were received at check in. We had no choice if we wanted these baskets. They were provided at check in like they were part of the package. They were full of items we didn’t want or use. Another change was that we are now responsible for taking our own garbage and recycling to the garbage bins on our way out or we would be charged an additional $75 fee. It was raining, there was a large amount of traffic around the bins and then we had to sort the bags in the rain. I would return for Sunday brunch, or a couch potato package. Unfortunately we will not return for another Wild Women’s weekend. The cost has increased too much while the service has declined. Definitely miss Wilma!
This review is solely based on the Pub as we didn't stay at the resort. The food was excellent and our server was lovely. We ate outside and had a nice cold beer with our dinner. Plenty of shade with a nice breeze from the lake. We will definitely be returning!
This spot is beautiful in all 4 seasons. Nice walk in the woods is easily accessible. Skate on the lake in winter, swim in summer, the lake makes a moonlit night so perfect. Room upgrades are really nice.
We had Thanksgiving dinner there. It was less than desirable. The server was amazing. She did a fantastic job. We were the very last seating and it felt as though they cobbled together meals for us. Turkey was dry, prime rib was mostly fat and inedible. 2 of the 4 deserts were no longer available. If they were not able to accommodate our table, I wish they would have just told us.
Perfect peaceful getaway. Beautiful sunrises over the lake, loons, cats, great food, excellent spa services, very comfortable beds, and a fireplace! Able to enjoy a bbq while sitting outside in Nov! Perfect!

This place is gorgeous all around. The owner is so knowledgeable, helpful, and knows a story about the entire store. Self-restored and don't forget to check out his own creations!
Beautiful antiques in fantastic condition, the owners are very knowledgeable and have a story for every piece. Highly recommended!
Brilliant place, a well-curated offering of fine and unique furniture. Different from most other antique stores...everything is there for its merits; no hoarded junk. Some good modern ceramics and woodwork mixed in as well.
Beautiful, peaceful location and beautiful furniture. This antique store is well worth a visit.
Great antique store with lots of beautiful and amazing things to looks at. Everything from furniture to trinquets and all was reasonably priced. Talking with the owner was really interesting as he is a carpenter by trade and we had a really interesting discussion about the dining tables and how they all opened differently to accommodate more guests. The atmosphere was tranquil and it had the perfect antique shop smell. Loved it!
Fine furniture and lots of cool old quality antiques. The gentleman who owns it is a really nice down to earth guy. If your nice enough he will take the time to show you around. We really enjoyed our trip.
We were driving by the place on a Monday afternoon and decided to stop in, just before closing time. Brian the owner said to go in anyway, as he was doing some work outside. Cut to the chase...we spent the next hour in the place, looking at beautiful antiques and talking to Brian who has a wealth of knowledge and a real passion for the business. In a world of fast-paced, give me your money and get the hell out shops, it's refreshing to find someone who takes the time to connect with customers and is so knowledgeable about his products. If you are looking for fantastic pieces of history to add to your collection, or are just starting a collection, GO SEE BRIAN.
I have made several purchases from Brian. He is super knowledgeable and has the most unique and exquisite pieces in his shop. Well worth the trip to see this lovely store in the magnificent church!

Patricia offers a wonderful selection of both modern and vintage items in this beautiful historic home. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring her well thought out displays, as well as the lovely conversation. I'll be sure to drop by again the next time I'm in the area. Highly recommended!
I had the most delightful shopping experience at Patricia’s Gift Shop. Picked up a few treasures to remind me of my vacation once back in the “real” world. A lovely trove of treasures to discover and extremely reasonably priced. Plus Patricia was an absolute pleasure to chat with. If you’re in the neighborhood make sure you stop by. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I love shopping here. Patricia is so nice! I always feel better after a conversation with Patricia. I buy all my favourite nightgowns here. She offers so many things. Quite the variety. You can’t go in there and not find something amazing. I would rather make the drive than shop where I am. Her prices are awesome too! She is also very helpful during these Covid times. I am blessed to call her a friend and not just a shop owner.
Patricia has beautiful gifts, bedding, dishes etc. at reasonable prices. She is delightful and does gift wrapping free. I love going to her shop. Has something new every time I go there. Truly a treasure.
All in Patricia's is pure beauty . Such variety , and quality and great prices also . It is always a beautiful adventure going in there anytime of the year . And Patricia is a wonderful friend ,
I always enjoy stopping in and seeing what Patricia has in stock. Lots to see and she has everything so beautifully displayed....this shop is a real gem, and a "must-see" when visiting the village!
I've been here several times and the owner has been in a very wide variety of moods. Definitely not the most personal, and while standing outside today with my dog I heard 3 people being rudly kicked out for bringing in pop cans....
This place always has the greatest and unique gifts. I always recommend it to my friends. Patricia is always so welcoming and friendly!

What a beautiful spot. The gluten free pizza was absolutely delicious. The charcuterie board was so lovely; lots of delicious cheeses, meats and spreads, bonus: they also well as gluten free crackers. I highly recommend this spot for a date night, girls dinner, or a family gathering. The staff were so friendly, not pushy or rushing us out and were willing to take a few family photos for us too. I would recommend a reservation if you have a large group. We will defiantly be back!
A lovely winery with good wine and an excellent kitchen serving delicious wood-fired oven pizza. The dining area has both covered and sunny tables. We were there with friends so ordered four of their pizzas and they all were excellent. Service was good, but slow, as it takes a long time to cook all those pizzas in the oven. As well when I ordered a second glass of wine it never arrived. Still, I can recommend this spot for a delicious meal and good wine.
Rolling Grapes Vineyard is an absolute gem! The setting is stunning – a perfect mix of beautiful scenery and a welcoming atmosphere. The food was incredible; we tried the pizza and a charcuterie board, and both were delicious and paired perfectly with the wine. We happened to visit on Country Night, and it was such a fantastic experience! The live music and line dancing created such a fun, lively vibe that made the evening unforgettable. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, John. He was so welcoming, down-to-earth, and genuinely a joy to chat with – you can tell he really cares about creating a great experience for his guests. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, great entertainment, and an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home, Rolling Grapes Vineyard is the place to go. We can’t wait to come back!
We just had our Sunday Brunch wedding at Rolling Grape and it was truly a dream come true. We chose to have our celebration here because of their incredible package deals, which included all the food, drinks, ceremony location, beautiful reception area, live music, photography, set up and take down of decorations, and so much more, for a very reasonable price. The food was amazing, from the appetizers and desserts, and especially their wood fired pizzas and grilled cheese which we opted for, but there was so much to choose from! The service of the staff was wonderful, and our guests could not stop talking about the beautiful surroundings and atmosphere of the entire day. We had given some inspiration pictures for our whimsical garden party wedding and they went above and beyond to execute our vision, and were so accommodating of our unique and personal ideas, like including our dog in our celebrations. Leading up to our wedding Brittany and her team took care of us and all the planning involved, we also hired her as our day of coordinator and the whole day went so smoothly, there wasn’t a moment in the day that we had to worry about anything, we could just live in the moment. She is incredible at what she does, and an equally incredible human being. The entire day was so professionally executed and created with love, we could not recommend Rolling Grape enough for your own special celebrations. Photos by @photographywithcare
Rolling Grape offers a fantastic dining experience. The pizza was excellent—thin crust, flavorful, and perfectly crafted. The tacos were okay—good, but not standouts compared to the rest of the menu. The charcuterie board was excellent—well-curated with a variety of delicious meats, cheeses, and accompaniments. The Merlot Boubdon wine was particularly delightful—rich and smooth, pairing beautifully with the meal. The location is great, providing a pleasant atmosphere, and the service was quick and attentive. Overall, a great spot for a casual yet refined dining experience.
My wife and I had gotten married over the summer and it had exceeded all of our expectations. From the initial meeting with Brittany through to the morning after our wedding we felt as though we were in good hands and completely looked after. The venue, the staff, the food and the drinks were fantastic and for anyone looking to have their own wedding here we couldn’t recommend it enough! Most importantly, if you have the option to take Brittany on as your day of wedding coordinator DO IT! She made the day of the wedding as stress free as possible and it was one of the best days of our lives.
We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful winery! The atmosphere was stunning, picturesque views and a cozy, welcoming vibe. We tried their white wine, which was absolutely delicious and refreshing. The pizzas were also amazing, fresh, flavorful, and the perfect pairing with the wine. Definitely a place we’d love to come back to. Highly recommended!
Wonderful views. The pizza was cooked on a large wood fired oven. Salad was delicious. I also have the frozen wine drink. It was tasty. Would recommend to stop by and sit and enjoy the scenery and the friendly service.

The Best Customer Service out of any Peterborough Golf Club. The team here whether in the golf store or the restaurant are GREAT People. The short Canadian woman was very friendly & had great customer service skills. The cashier was professional, that's all that matters. Great energy chef. I enjoyed the garlic dip & fries although I wasn't a fan of the Chicken Crunch Wrap. The cheese makes it taste horrible. This is the most people I've seen in a golf club restaurant which proves to you just how great OVERALL the food is & for sure the customer service. I love that. Thanks a lot Pine Crest! 💚
The course its self presents it’s self very nice. Very clean course I give it 10/10 on that how ever…. The club house was not very welcoming. The bar was not very friendly. The check in guy at the first hole was very welcoming guy. The course was very busy being a long weekend so we understood that prior to booking our tee time which I was fine with. How ever what I was not fine with was the group behind us keep shooting balls at us. The warden come around and blame us for holding up the golf course when we had two groups of four in front of us and one behind us. He did not even care of the disrespect from the people behind us shooting balls at us and can’t wait a minute. At the end of the game the owner of the golf course come up and had asked to see our cart because the group behind us called a false act saying we ran into a bolder and we distorted the cart. Owner come out and listen to the story and checked out the cart and deemed there was no issue because I know I never hit anything. Over all put a bad taste in my mouth. First time being there and probably my last. Other courses around town when they are busy don’t handle things the way these guys do. Handle it mature and a friendly manner. Not a welcoming first time on the course.
Had a wonderful experience for my first time there my son just became a member
This summer we purchased 2-20 pack 9 hole cards. We were down to the last few squares on the second card and had a tee time booked yesterday (Nov. 7th). We arrived and were told that the card expired on October 31st and we could not use it. Expire on October 31st?? how about the end of the season which is Sunday? The 2 cards were over $800, I purchased items from the pro shop as well as food and beer over the summer. I have not seen such a cheap cheezy move in a long time. Talked to a few members in the parking lot on the way out and they couldn’t believe it either, the course was not busy. Just an absolutely nasty move by the course.
Amazing golf course with such friendly people. I highly recommend heading out onto the green at Pine crest golf club and grabbing some lunch, the food is so good!
Pinecrest is a good established golf course for what I think is very reasonable prices. If you like to walk a course instead of ride, it's a very easy walk.
Very nice course, pro shop and starter staff were both very polite. Drainage and care of this course is amazing, compared to Bellmere Winds which is closed for rain. If you are looking for a local course to try- come here over others
Great value, good challenge, course is always in good shape. Only complaint I have is that I shot a 90 which had nothing to do with my PGA Tour-like swing...

Best chicken I have had in a long time. Expensive, but worth it for the flavour/texture. Other meats have been very good as well, although the cuts are on the small/thin side for beef that I have ordered.
Amazing place and amazing people with fresh produce and lot of animals to see.. they also have a kids play area with slides, sand pit. The programs they conduct like bottle feeding of lamb or farm tour you need to book an appointment, but yes even without appointment you can see animals from a distance.. I liked the place.
We bought 8 sausages and 12 drumsticks! Total $100. The chicken was great, the sausage was way too salty and the price…. Just way too expensive!
Excellent & friendly service. Very good quality food. Very fair prices. Ample parking. We have gone back and will continue to do so.
Purchased a turkey from Harley farms and it has been a very long time since we have had a turkey that good ,extremely impressed with quality and service as well ,thank you so much 💓
BUYER BEWARE! Long term EX-customer. Caught this farm RED handed trying to sell regular conventional meat for their supposedly 'high welfare, pasture raised non-gmo' meat. This happened with their Turkeys and Pork. They purchase highland packers pork and turkeys from Collin. Both verified from suppliers. After calling them out they removed Non-Gmo from website and facebook page and added 'Naturally Raised'. Manipulating the system with wording. A quick google search or waybackmachine look up will also verify this. Do your homework people as there are alot of farmers scamming with their products!
I always go here to get a fresh turkey for any of the holidays. Friendly staff farm fresh environment. Can't wait til.summer so I can enjoy their tours and interact with farm animals
I am so happy to have found this place. The meat is so, so much better than what you find in grocery stores. It is nice to eat meat without wondering what else you are ingesting with it. The taste and texture of the chicken is amazing. An added plus is that they deliver to Cobourg. Highly recommended.
