This visitor centre was surprisingly well-renovated — clean, a pleasant little surprise in the middle of our drive. The washrooms? Spotless and unexpectedly serene with birds chirping — kinda felt like a fancy spa moment in the wild. We dropped by around 3pm in the summer, and while the vibe was peaceful, the mosquitoes were aggressive. Definitely bring bug spray.
Rogers Pass Discovery is an excellent rest stop with breathtaking views. The gift shop staff are warm and welcoming, and the washrooms are impressively clean. A must-stop spot for travelers!
An excellent place to stop and stretch your legs. The original visitor center is temporarily closed. However, adjacent buildings house restrooms that are clean. The temporary gift shop is very limited, but it's available. This has to be one of the most beautiful settings for area, visitor center.
Good for a quick stop, stretching and washroom break. Take some photos. Thanks goodness we stop by as just ahead there's two cop with photo radar!!
Good spot to watch mountain! The main building is in the progress for maintenance, but still have simple info office for visitors. Not so many gifts available for selecting.
Friendly staff, really clean restrooms! Gift shop is currently *really* limited, because they're undergoing construction on the original visitor center. Lots of good information on local hiking and activities.
Clean washrooms were much appreciated. However, as of today, August 13, the center was closed — it seems for renovations. Our toddler was excited to explore it while stretching his legs, but maybe next time. Gift shop was open.
Museum is under renovations but it was a gorgeous location for a road trip lunch break and the washrooms were clean.

Bear Creek Falls Trail is a must-watch spot, especially for an early morning hike. The trail is quick, taking about 30-40 minutes depending on your pace, and the reward is absolutely worth it. You get to watch the waterfall up close, and it’s truly a stunning sight. Perfect way to start the day with a refreshing hike and some breathtaking views . Limited parking and washrooms were clean
No bears when I went. There's parking but limited space (much easier if you reverse park). There's a restroom hut, lol The trail was cleaned up, Short hike to the Falls. Wicked weather today,
Bear Creek Falls Trail is a short but beautiful hike that rewards you with a stunning waterfall at the end. The path is well marked, surrounded by lush forest, and easy enough for most fitness levels. A wonderful stop to enjoy nature and the scenery
Perfectly short trail leading to a magnificent waterfall that we had all to ourselves. Kids are tired after a long week spent hiking the surrounding areas so this was a perfect smaller “walk” for them. 1 mile total I believe but we spent around an hour exploring rocks at the bottom of course! No animal sightings sadly but saw a bird or two.
So worth the hike. Easy trip down, hard walk back, but so so worth it. You will get wet by the falls, but the photos don't do this place justice.
This place was very beautiful. Parking is available. I don't remember if we had to pay. Fair warning it's very steep going down so the climb back up to the parking lot is brutal. To be fair I haven't been to the gym in awhile so cardio isn't all that great it felt like a struggle for me. I had to stop a couple of times to catch my breath. However I'm sure a little kid or someone with excellent cardio would have no qualms about the uphill battle. Despite the steepness....it was worth the view. And it's not crowded at all which is even better. So the trail is not wheel chair friendly. There are no railings at certain points.
Just amazing. Nice short hike downhill. Spray from the falls was nice and cool. Hike up wasn’t fun
Short (15-20 minute), steep little hike down to a stunning river and waterfall. Definitely one to visit.
