Accessed by a logging road, these undeveloped riverfront hot springs feature several rock pools.

Great natural hot spring. Drove 2.5hr from Banff to experience this vs a commercialized hot swimming pool. Got there around 945am and enjoyed a couple of hours in the pools on a Saturday before several families came in. I did not have the balls to do a cold plunge, but some people hopped into the river briefly. There are 2 pit toilets at the parking area, and a smooth walkway down to the river. Please throw your trash away!
There's a 1km walk down/up a steep hill. The path is well maintained with a nice handrail. Once you reach the bottom there are numerous large boulders to traverse to get into the pools. Unfortunately some visitors with mobility issues couldn't pass the landing to enjoy the pools and as such have given this a 4 out of 5 The first one closest to the side of the hill is the hottest and the one furthest away was the coldest as the stream laps through the pools to cool them down. There were dogs running around without leashes and some over crowding but overall it was a great experience. You can't beat free! It's a (unpaved) forestry road with some very rough and tight patches so drive with caution
It was a really nice spot, a little crowded when I visited, but we were able to find some room. Good range of temps. Somewhat strong smell of sulphur, but that is just about every hot spring I am aware of
Lussier Hot Springs is definitely worth a visit! It can get pretty crowded, so be prepared for that, but the natural setting makes it a really cool spot to experience. A unique and worthwhile trip if you’re in the area.
We went September 25/25 with the family. The water was beautiful. Just amazing adventure. 10/10 recommend. Please do yourself a favour bring proper fit wear this rocks are SLIPPERY. We brought our puppy he loved it. There was a small hint of cool water very faint, made it the most comfortable relaxing I’ve ever had at a hot spring
We went there on a Saturday morning around 8 a.m. and there were already four people in the pool, but there was still enough space for us. There were three pools, but only one was warm, so most people stayed in that one. The road there was a bit annoying since it wasn’t paved, but overall it was a great experience and we would definitely go back. :)
Very beautiful, sitting in nature. The road leading there was kinda scary when there was lots of snow. But definetly do it again.
This Hot Springs has seen better days.. it’s very small now there’s candles around the hot springs which we all know what the Hot Springs is used for when there’s not people around. It’s nice and hot, but you will need to get there early and hopefully you don’t run into people that early doing appropriate things.
