Very Neat💯 Often, we visit the place for picnics and outdoor functions..one time we decided to tour inside the museum 😅our guide was a sweet & arlet lady throughout the trip💯We discovered that they also accommodate blind or rather let me say visually impaired persons🥹so considerate 🫂I strongly recommend.
Such an amazing piece of art but I can’t believe the restaurant closed down. It’s sad to see how busy the place was about 5 years ago and now people don’t appreciate it as much. Loved the upkeeping of the place and lawns.
What a wonderful art museum close to Naval Hill, Bloemfontein. Old South African masters and contemporary art on exhibition and on sale. Beautiful gardens to wander in with the larger sculptures exhibited there. Only R10 parking fee, entrance for free in May 2025.
Saw a well curated exhibition here a few weeks ago, very knowledgeable and personable young Man TK should us around aswell. Top top experience that I didn't expect. We'll done to the curators and artists exhibiting aswell. Exciting pieces, great works of varying techniques.
The place is worth visiting. To appreciate the work of others and unwind outside, while enjoying the view of outside sculptures and the feeling of outdoors. The place could really use a restaurant or at least a cafe because, after exploring different parts of the museum personally I was worn out and needed a drink or something sweet to recharge. What I've noticed about the museum is that they give people an opportunity showcase their craft, if that is not the reason then I suppose they can do better because some pieces weren't all that if you understand what I mean. The best highlight for me was the section for blind people, yes if you have a blind friend(s) or a family member who appreciates art, then allow them to tag along! Fyi: there are cats and the ones at the back love attention #smiles
Lovely place. Nice manicured lawns for picnics. Art is interesting. Always something new on display.
The experience was awesome because I'm an Art lover but I specialise in poetry and acting,I somehow wished one of my poems could be framed and be part of other pieces in the museum
-It's safe and beautiful. -Accommodates kiddies -Perfect for those romantic picnics -My only problem is that it closes early which is at 5pm. -Entrance is free

As an Afrikaans South African who has lived in England for almost 30 years, I was delighted and pleased to see how the museum and monument is being maintained. I have visited many times in the past years, having encouraged my children to also keep in touch with this important part of our culture and heritage. It was so uplifting to see the perfectly maintained gardens, the excellent standard of the displays and the clear, tactful descriptions of a heartbreaking historical event that evokes so much emotion. The topic is handled with utmost care and respect, while the sad facts are revealed with sensitivity and a directness that make it easier to comprehend. The overall atmosphere is one of reflection and kindness. On his first visit to South Africa, my British partner of Welsh descent found it a balanced account of the facts, without sugarcoating or unnecessary dwelling on emotion. I particularly love how the past fate of the innocent has become significant in the wider modern context, keeping the story of the women and children of the Boer War alive and relevant. Thank you for maintaining this precious site in such an excellent condition. It is a must-visit for everyone!
What a surreal experience. The sadness I felt was just something else. My people. 27k people perished during a dark time in our history. The museum looks amazing with the new look. They've done an incredible job. Absolutely 10/10. Clean, safe atmosphere, learning about new artifacts, reading new stories, feeling new emotions every time we visit. Keep doing God's work. Keep their names alive. And a final R.I.P. to the 345 Fourie souls that perished in the concentration camps, and 75 Fourie Souls on the battlefield. We are all a family, in some way or another.
An absolutely heartbreaking experience to see all the names of the people ( mostly women and children) who died in the concentration camps. The reality of it all is just so overwhelming and sad. Grounds and museum and monuments beautifully maintained.
For anyone interested in the Boer War, this is a must! A whole day is need to taking everything that is presented. The facility is extremely neat and maintained, and the displays are excellent. I am sorry I haven't visited the museum before
The War Museum is a poignant and thought-provoking destination that offers a powerful glimpse into the history of conflict. The museum's extensive collection of artifacts, exhibits, and personal stories brings the past to life, providing a deeply moving experience for visitors. *Key Highlights:* - *Comprehensive Exhibits*: The museum's exhibits cover a wide range of conflicts, providing a thorough understanding of the historical context and impact of war. - *Personal Stories*: The museum shares personal accounts and stories of those who lived through war, adding an emotional depth to the exhibits. - *Artifacts and Memorabilia*: The collection includes a vast array of artifacts, from uniforms and equipment to letters and photographs, offering a tangible connection to the past. *Overall Experience:* The War Museum is a must-visit for history enthusiasts, students, and anyone interested in understanding the complexities of war. The museum's thought-provoking exhibits and personal stories create a lasting impression, serving as a reminder of the importance of peace and the sacrifices made by those who served.
The exhibitions are not only beautiful and interesting, but very educational as well. 4 hours was not enough to absorb all there is to see and experience. The receptionist is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back..🏛️ Visited on
This is a very good museum with a lot of original exhibits, well designed rooms according to different periods of the war, and prominent people who were involved in those events. I can't say that I enjoyed it as the topic is very sad and hard - I had tears in my eyes for most of the time we were thete, but it is so well designed, presented, and preserved! Visit to this museum was certainly a highlight to our visit to Bloemfontein.
Very neat and well kept, from the grass to the top floor. Very reasonable prices too, we payed R50 in total for two pensioners and a adult. Beware that it will be an emotionally moving visit when you realize the scope and horror of the war. It is not a huge museum and you can take everything in under two hours or less. No cameras allowed inside. Bathrooms were neat and clean and there is an elevator, allthoug you would move from one hall to another by stairs.

Absolutely an amazing place!!!!! Would recommend it to everyone. They are friendly, helpful and go the extra mile to make your experience something you will never forget!! Amazing people, delicious food and incredible interactions with these amazing animals!!
Very bad service. Was there yesterday since it shows 24hours on a Sunday. Waiting infront of the gate for 30mins.finally a bakkie showed up and me and my family were chased away and being told it's private property we can't be there. We drove 180km from Kimberley to go there. We had to go look for another place close to bloem. Maybe we were seen as criminals bcos of our colour
The place is great, specially for animal lovers. Perfect for a location event, has play area for kids as well. I didn't like the food prepared for us but that might just be a preference issue. The road going to the place is very bad, people going there would benefit if they use off road cars.
We had the amazing privilege today of a Private Tour around Bagamoya Lion Sanctuary with the owner Botha. An unssuming man with a law degree.. His passion for his animals radiates and soon as you meet him. The Sanctuary is a safe haven for rescued animals, which means it's a NO KILL shelter, he looks after them as though they were his own children, with such passion and enthusiasm. His knowledge about each and every animal is unbelievable. He can tell you before you enter into the cages which animal will take a liking to you and which you might not. His two Cubs that you are allowed to play with I have no words to describe. Well behaved and lil bit naughty but at end of the day just want to be loved. Botha, it was and honour to meet and spend the day with you learning about these animals and I am truly humbled by the work that you and your wife do for them everyday. From the lil Cubs, to the teenagers to the older Lions as well as the Cheethas, Leopardas and Caracals. We cant wait to come and see you guys again with the progress you have made on the bird sanctuary, as well as well as all the other plans you mentioned today to me. My sister was in her element for her birthday and for that I thank you.. I cannot think of another present that will beat this one. I wish you all the best and look forward to seeing you soon again This is a highly recommended Private tour with a 15/10 from me.... this far outcede my expectations and you can see by the photos.
Would give 0 stars if I could!! Do not recommend!! They are having all their animals seized due to neglect and cruelty!! So disgusting the way you treat animals!! An animal worker was killed by a lion due to neglect and maintenance of the enclosures. This situation was inevitable when you treat animals the way you do!!! How can you leave a tiger so crippled it had to crawl along the ground and now needs surgery to repair the damage from your neglect!! Stop acting the innocent when you know full well the nspca are confiscating all your animals!! It should have been done a long time ago!!
Terrible service. Website says open 24 hours, went there on a Saturday. Gate intercom doesn't work at all, numbers go straight to voicemail.
Waited at the gate to no answer and it is extremely far to go to wait at a closed gate and no response on calls. What a let down.
I dailed the number and was told that they closed down from locked down time (meaning they are already closed for 5 years).

Amazing gem of nature, cleanliness friendly staff and serenity
Its a smaller garden with a dedicated hiking area. You can finish the walk in around 20 minutes. Its safe with clean toilets. I did see some weasels which was nice. Its R55 entry per adult.
I enjoyed my walk. The area is clearly marked and gives one the comfort to choose and know where they want to go.
I was at the garden on the 21st of August 2025, relaxing with my fiance, when Botanical garden employee started lawn mowing the grass with a tractor that was making a lot of dust to the nearby we were sitting on. I found it very unprofessional, inconsiderate and disrespectful for the fact that he didn't let us know that he's going to cut the grass, and we should maybe shift from we're currently sitting. He didn't consider letting us know, he just started the machine and didn't care whether the dust is coming towards us or not. But I would give the place a 5 star, I love it's serenity, tranquility and such a peaceful place. Thank you.
We had a time of our lives the Garden is breathtaking 🥹 beautiful, neat and sooo cosy 🥰 Entrance fee as of now is R55 per adult
More a healing experience for me. How I got lost in the sounds, the smells of nature, the slow down, the peaceful experience.✨💚
It was a great family fun outing with my children and grand kids. Safe and exciting
A hidden gem! Bloemfontein locals do not give this garden enough credit. One of the best things about it is how quite it is, when I was there, there were hardly any people. I walked 6km around the garden. The walk up the hill is a bit steep but nothing to intense, a young child will easily make it. It was such a nice place to spend my day. A perfect holiday activity for the young and old. Tip: bring a picnic basket with and have lunch in the gardens

Great venue for functions, training and corporate events, also has Diamond Lills which has a a bar, stage etc for private events. For those that enjoy playing on machines, playing cards or tables their gaming floor is also top notch. Staff are courteous and friendly.
Beautiful place. It has easy accessible Electric Car Charging Station for 2 cars. Good for resting in the shade of trees during ling distance driving.
Has Conferencing, Accommodations and also offers alot of Entertainment... Child friendly place as well... At the end of everything you could enjoy nice Food at their Rose's Restaurant or other restaurants at the place..... It's also a Business that that supports good contributions and projects meant to bring difference in Communities........
The rooms were very clean and I will stay here again. Please get your generator fixed or replaced for when Eskom decides to switch off power again. Otherwise thank you for a very pleasant overnight stay.
We had a nice time, but then the barman Francis started yelling at us and being extremely rude in general because HE couldn’t understand at the start that we were on a separate bill from our friends. I hope Francis reads this, as I am typing it while sitting right in front of it. Honestly should be fired.
What a dump. You can tell it used to be nice but it’s so run down. A rude security guard at the entrance demanded to see our cards which we don’t have as tourists. They force you to sign up for a membership card in order to enter to gamble. You can tell this place needs the $ and yet they chased people away and made it harder to enjoy. The whole plaza has no more restaurants and looks like a ghost town. The bowling alley doesn’t work. Worst is they don’t have functioning toilets because they don’t have water. Avoid this place!
Nice to relax. However more staff walking around would be good.
Our experience at Golden Nuggett spur was really great! , we were assisted by Boity and she she honestly the sweetest waiter I have come across. The food also did not take that long. Keep it up Golden nugget spur.

Such top tier service and food. The food was too good and our waitress, Lulu, made the experience nice. Such a beautiful soul.
The atmosphere was amazing. I and my boyfriend went there to have a birthday dinner. The waitress was amazing but if we needed her attention my boyfriend had to constantly stand or fetch her. When the food arrived we felt robbed honestly 🤣 we ordered the perfect catch platter and got the opposite. The platter on the advert looked like it would be enough to be shared between 2 people, now tell me why did we get food that wasn't enough. We had to ask the waitress if she was sure if that was or food. The rice was not even enough. We had to leave and get McDonald's 😪 i think that there would be have been a difference if we got our food on aplatter like advertised unlike on a pan which limited the food to be served. I don't think i will be returning there anytime soon. The food took too long to be prepared almost an hour, i wanted to get dessert but after what i got i was ready to leave the restaurant. But thank you for the experience.
This place is like a little heaven . It’s next to the waters, the view is breathtaking.
Thank u for your services and kind staff. Enjoyed the food so much
Loch Logan Ocean basket, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with not one, but two recent visits to your restaurant — on Friday, 25 July and again on Sunday, 27 July. Both experiences were extremely disappointing and have left me questioning whether I will return. On 25 July, I ordered the High Tide Platter , and from the start, the service was poor. I was initially attended to by three different waiters, creating unnecessary confusion, and then was left waiting far too long for further assistance. The buns were hard, and the overall quality of the service was unacceptable. I had planned to order a cocktail after my meal, but due to the frustrating and inconsistent service, I decided not to order anything else. It completely ruined the experience. Despite my hesitation, I returned on Sunday, 27 July, only because my child insisted. Unfortunately, this visit was no better. Once again, the buns were hard, and the food was smothered in so much sauce that my daughter couldn’t even eat her meal. What upset me even more was the way we were treated upon arrival. I asked to sit outside, but was told there were no tables available. I then specifically asked to be seated inside with the request that if a table outside opens up, I would like to move. While seated, I clearly saw a table outside become available. When I asked again, the guy insisted there was still no space. A family that arrived 15 minutes after us also requested to sit outside but there were still no table and they sat across us. Eventually, the waiter gave them the exact table I had asked for, which was blatantly unfair and unprofessional. The waiter was rude, dismissive, and lacked basic manners. This level of poor customer service, combined with substandard food quality, is completely unacceptable. I left both visits feeling disrespected, disappointed, and angry. As a paying customer, I expect better, especially when I give a place a second chance and get treated even worse. My friend and I were both so disappointed and in disbelieve because we have been treated like this twice? And the second time with my daughter? Utterly disappointed!
The food was very delicious, and our waiter was so nice and polite Lulu, her service is so fast. Definitely coming back for more.👌
The food and atmosphere were amazing, but we received the worst service from Lulu, the waitress. She showed us to our table, and when she came to take our order, she was already rude. When we paid the bill, she just threw the slip on the table and walked away. I think she treated us that way because we were young. I believe everyone should be treated equally, regardless of age, when dining at a restaurant. Her behavior was completely unacceptable. We had a terrible experience with her!!
Yesterday my friend and I went to Ocean Basket for lunch to celebrate my birthday. When we got there none of the waiters paid attention to us so we walked in and seat ourselves. A waiter attended to us 5 minutes in and gave us menus and left, we waited about 30 minutes and didn't get any service. Another group came into the restaurant a couple of minutes after us and there were escorted to a table and their orders were immediately taken and they were served within 15 minutes. That is when we decided to leave because there was clearly no service problem, we were just being singled out and treated horribly. After standing up to leave no one attended to us or tried to ask why we decided to leave including the waiter who was supposed to be serving us, instead he was just there sitting and watched us walking out without saying anything, he did not even apologize. What was worse was that the restaurant was practically empty, there was no reason for the service to be as horrible as it was yesterday. As a regular customer of the store I am very disgusted by the behavior of this restaurant and also truly disappointed. I definitely won't be going there anymore if this is how they treat customers.

Great experience and amazing depiction of history. If we had guided tour with experts it would have been extraordinary getaway.
Wow!!! We had an amazing time at the museum!!! We enjoyed each exhibit so so much!! The exhibits are beautiful and extremely well looked after. Will definitely recommend. Kids loved it.
This place was very clean and amazing saw all kind of fossils, animals and interactive stuff. Entrance fee of R10 per adult is surprisingly low for the place. Highly recommend visiting
The NMB is a nice museum to visit. The building is rational and solid, with a nice garden around. I especially liked the snake fountain. The collection is well explained in English, there is a lot of information to be learned. As a vegan person I keep uno star down because I don't appreciate the use of alive animals, like spiders and other insects, snakes and the alikes. At the entrance the cashier was very nice to me. -R!cca+
This museum was a complete surprise! For only 10 rand as an entrance fee, you can learn a lot about South Africa, the Free State, and Bloemfontein. I definitely recommend this place.
The exhibitions are not only beautiful and interesting, but very educational as well. 4 hours was not enough to absorb all there is to see and experience. A very big and special thanks to Jacob and Thomas for their EXCELLENT service and the friendly and professional way they helped us with our wheelchair when we were unable to use the elevator. We will definitely be back..🏛️
I’ve been to this museum probably 50 times. It’s still one of my favorite places to visit when I get to Bloemfontein. I wish they had more funding to expand, but its still one of the best places I go to. Everyone is friendly, everything is clean and really informative. Yes there’s updates needed but you can’t go wrong with a fantastic museum. Family friendly, my favorite area is the Solar System section. Take a chance on this museum it might just surprise you!
Absolutely incredible! Well kept and organised, a wide diversity of displays and exhibits. I recommend spending at least two hours in the museum to see all the museum has to offer. Perfect place to take children to learn about natural history as well as Bloemfontein and South African history. I will definitely be back to go through the exhibits properly. I arrived late on Saturday and didn't get time to go through everything properly. Take note of the correct opening time: Mon - Fri: 09:00 - 16:30 Sat: 10:00 - 15:00 Sun: Closed

This is breathtaking. From the outside and the inside. You will learn alot.
I'm thoroughly impressed with the Naval Hill Planetarium in Bloemfontein! The planetarium offers an out-of-this-world experience, literally. The shows are informative, engaging, and visually stunning, making complex astronomical concepts easy to grasp. *Key Highlights:* - *Stellar Shows*: The planetarium features a range of shows that explore the wonders of the universe, from stars and planets to galaxies and beyond. - *State-of-the-Art Technology*: The facility utilizes cutting-edge technology to project stunning visuals and provide an immersive experience. - *Educational Value*: The planetarium is an excellent resource for students and educators, offering a unique learning experience that complements traditional classroom instruction. - *Family-Friendly*: The planetarium is a great destination for families, with shows and activities suitable for all ages. *Overall Experience:* The Naval Hill Planetarium is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in astronomy and space exploration. With its engaging shows, state-of-the-art technology, and educational value, it's an excellent spot for families, students, and enthusiasts alike.
Naval Hill planetarium is one of the iconic building one has to visit in Bloemfontein, it's a pity they don't have shows everyday but I think it's due to the lack of customers, the only show you can watch is on Saturday at 7:00pm and what a show, it's a must watch. While there, look out for the range animal roam around the reserve. You can take a drive to the west side and see the Mandela's statue and breathtaking views of bloomfontien city. The reserve is very famous for running and cycling as there is no entry free.
We were very worried that we would be the only people there but to our surprise it was almost full. It was an adventure to outer space that we will never forget. The show was very informative. Only getting 4/5 because one of the ladies toilets was disgusting. Not sure what else can be done on Naval Hill but there is wildlife to be seen on route to the Planetarium.
Seeing this huge Nelson Mandela statue is worth a visit and it's for free! Chilling from up high over looking the city in quietness.👌
We attended a "drive in" picnic style jazz concert, with the musicians performing on the stoep of the planetarium. The atmosphere was festive, music great, and the surroundings incredibly beautiful. My photo certainly won't do justice, but may just entice you to give the next concert a go.
Awesome experience seeing how big the solar system is. School and private groups will find it very interesting. Check out their facebook page to see next shows.

There is not enough parking. It's best to come atleast 30 minutes before kickoff to secure parking. In all the years I've been to this stadium I've never used their restroom facilities or bought anything from their food stalls, so I can't comment on the cleanliness of their restrooms. They usually have enough security but that doesn't stop pickpocketers from attempting to steal your cellphone and wallet, so be super vigilant. You are allowed to bring your own food, snacks and bottled water/drink. The chairs are usually dirty, so bring something to wipe the seats with. We opted for the open stand because this match started at 18:00 so we were not worried about the sun and there weren't any rain predictions, otherwise we would have sat in the grand stand for some shelter. They required a ticket for our 2 year old which we didn't have since it was not required in the last 2 matches we attended with her a month ago. They allowed us in with a warning that we should be sure to get her a ticket next time. Live matches are always intense and the atmosphere is electric. Even though Bloemfontein suffered a major blow when Celtics sold its premiership franchise to Royal AM, Celtics supporters still show up in large numbers for matches hosted in Bloemfontein. They are always in good spirit, singing and dancing from the start to the end of every match.
Still has that "big stadium" feeling and also worth a visit as on of the FIFA World Cup 2010 venues. However that being said the stands are a bit dated and rust forming on a lot of the metal framework which is visible. Inside the stands are still fairly well maintained and seating is still in good condition.
When it comes to supporting Bafana Bafana you can count on Free State football lovers. Singing from the start of the game till the last whistle blow & after😂😂. We really enjoyed being here❤️ 🇿🇦vs🇳🇬 game was lit🔥🔥
Parking has enough space, the queue was controlled nicely I just wish in events that are family friendly, people with alcohol can be monitored so the kids stay safe and enjoy also other than that it's a nice place.
Toyota Free State Stadium is an incredible sports venue! Located in Bloemfontein, South Africa, this stadium has hosted numerous high-profile events, including rugby and soccer matches. With a seating capacity of over 48,000, it provides an electric atmosphere for fans to cheer on their favorite teams. The stadium's design and facilities are impressive, offering excellent views of the action from every seat. The pitch is well-maintained, providing a perfect playing surface for athletes. Toyota Free State Stadium has played host to various international events, showcasing its ability to handle large crowds and high-pressure matches. What stands out is the stadium's significance in South African sports, having been a venue for major tournaments like the Rugby World Cup. It's a hub for community engagement, fostering a love for sports among locals. Whether you're a rugby fan, soccer enthusiast, or just looking for a unique experience, Toyota Free State Stadium is a must-visit. With its rich history, stunning architecture, and lively atmosphere, it's an unforgettable destination for sports fans. Catch a match here and experience the excitement for yourself!
Lovely atmosphere. A stadium is a stadium, it has its issues, bathrooms had no water at one point, ran out of toilet paper but could easily spot the cleaning crew to restock. Generally a clean area with expected discarded bottles here and there. Seating was clean, well marked and supporting staff guided me in the right direction. The crowd was super excited, but also well behaved. Will definitely revisit.
The atmosphere is very wonderful, the stadium is so beautiful, and it accommodates many people. The best part is the pitch, unlike most dtadiums with uneven pitch(grass/ play ground), this stadium is well maintained

The environment is very good to refresh once mind, looking at the beauty of the nature. There are domestic lions there, looking astonishing but they look tired as well. The zoo is big, but walking to each conner and they are places to rest and watch some animals or birds singing.
Not worth the money Animal not well looked after and the environment is very dirty Also not a very big variety of animals The animals look depressed and not very happy! The only good thing is the nature around the animals
To make people pay entrance fee is daylight stealing. The so called zoo has no animals as 97% of the animals have been taken away. The place is now a dungeon that is not taken care of. A very dirty place. Homeless people now use thi place even to hide trolleys they steal from Checkers Westdene. I advise everyone to rather look for a better outing elsewhere.
This place is not zoo anymore. Most animals are no longer there. N thy don't even tel you what not to expect. All kids want to see big 5 when thy go there mara its only few.
It's not as clean as one would expect it to be when compared to previous years.. There are only a handful of animals one can see while visiting but overall the calming environment is great. It's too expensive for what they are currently offering.
From the lady at the gate, with the blood red eyes, who gave us discount but no tickets. To the neglect of the zoo, it was disappointing. Animal is lovely, my four year old, was impressed with the rhino's. Animals is a bit caged in, they do not look happy. Set them free. Lots of love, visitors.
I took my 3 yr old daughter, she was free and it was R65 for myself. The zoo is nice, small, the only thing was it was a Sunday so the shop/restaurant was closed but otherwise very clean place, VERY central, right next to loch Logan waterfront
Beautiful place... nature at its best, roaring lions, playful chimpanzee, the nocturnal animals looked sad... most animals look like they were rescued from harm as some have been amputated... wonderful service and wish someone could invest in that place in looks neglected or need fix up... over all good place for family fun

As always it was a lovely experience, even though the weather was miserable to start the day. I think the ultimate treat was the coffee from Cinnamon Café and the peppermint crisp pannetert from Pannekoek Kaia
Nice market. Alot of stalls with food and merchandise.
The Vibe is awesome,Friendly people, Interesting products but the passage way and the loading and off loading for exhibiters are really not well planned
With summer on its way the Langenhoven market is a must for that Saturday morning family pancake and coffee outing. Take a leasurely stroll and browse through all miriads of market stores. Whether you need your knives sharpened., Or you need the biggest bunch of flowers to make amends. Boba tea to quench your thirst or skilpaidjies to snack on. From Portueges to familie Gees, Nederlands se croquettes or a ringsting curry. Toys, clothes at "God's Grace" of pony trekking vir die kinders.
Lovely outing. A little something for everybody. All tastes. All ages. Food. Flowers. Handmade. Jewelery. Clothes. Decor Etc Pics are of stall 215
Best place to be on a Saturday morning! Wide range of products and amazing foodstalls. Love it!
Food Craft Veggies Gifts - love it all. We had a great time at the Bloem Boeremark. We spent a few hours walking the stalls. Snacking as we went on all the great traditional home made foods, such as pannekoek (crepes), wors (sausage) and liver in net fat barbecued as you wait. We sampled (and bought) a few delicious cheeses as well. We bought farm grown veggies and fruits that was fresh, sweet and delicious. Bought a few interesting items and great gifts for family and friends. Hats, real leather belts, handmade jewelry and clothing. We left wellfed, tired but happy with our purchases at very affordable pricing.
10/10 vibes and enjoyment, every stall is friendly and loves to help for whatever you are looking for

Art gallery at Sedgefield Market, friendly host who was so willing to engage with you and share his artists works. So much talent!
A very tranquil space that offers a great deal of aesthetics. The staff offers great service and the place is nicely ruck on General Dan Pienaar road between Westdene and Brandwag.....It’s a good space for hosting some corporate events for an intimate audience.
When we visited they had just opened an exhibition of miniature works and it was really great to experience, good quality work by great artists at affordable prices, well worth the visit. We had a drink at the adjoining restaurant which was also great
A good place to host a company party or year end functions
Gallery is smaller but still has some lovely art.
Great art. Great people. Wonderfull opening nights.
Beautiful art. Great to host bridal showers, 21st birthdays or engagement parties and has a delicious Restaurant next to it. Offers drinks on tap for events. Stunning place.
Loved this space and all the different design elements

Was awesome! Saw russianarmour, South african armour, and ww2 era vehicles and armour. This includes the Comet, the Crusader, the Marmon Herrington, theSexton SPG as well the Sherman AVRE and the Churchill AVRE!
Amazing experience at the SA Armour Musuem. The static displays are amazing and rare, the curator is a very knowledgeable, professional and passionate person (same could be said for most of the soldiers of the 1 SA Tank Regiment). It is completely worth the trip and home to many prototypes and unique finds.
One of the Army’s gunners took us for a tour of the base. It was December so we couldn’t see all of the exhibitions. He showed us all of the tanks outside and was really informative. The Google maps directions didnt take us to the correct entrance.
We didn't get to go inside, and was not able to reach them telephonicaly.. we drove pass a few time ...got a glimpse only. But worth the drive by. Second time lucky. Appointment necessary. So worth the visit .
Fantastic for anyone with a interested in the military, specifically in the armoured division (tanks, armoured vehicles, etc). There is also a display museum, and on request the museum curator can sometimes give tours. The only downside with the museum is the lack of funding. Some items need restoration and dire cleaning, but as said, they lack the funds for this.
Important history with regards to Armour and other related military aspects.
Closed! Like last time. Only open 9 - 12pm 4 days a week. Pathetic. If you are passing by Bloemfontein how are you supposed to have the time to see this place????
The army meseum has quite a variety an an interestin history of our army. There's a variety of all the arsenal used in various wars across the years. I particularly enjoyed the tanks they were very awesome. It was an interesting experience learning about our military prowess.

Had breakfast on 2 occasions and it has been great. Prompt service good food. The bottomless coffee is watered down as always and the muffins were average. Hot breakfast was the winner.
I had a wonderful experience! The quality service was impressive, and my waiter, Tshepo, was exceptional. He even helped me choose a meal with his excellent recommendations. Highly recommend!
I had such a great experience thanks to my waiter, Tshepo. A very friendly fellow, attentive, and genuinely made me feel welcome. He knew the menu well and understood just what I needed. He checked in at just the right moments without being intrusive. His service was efficient, but what stood out most was the food, quite new on the menu but it was very tantalising. Thank you, Tshepo and to the Chef for making my meal so enjoyable!.. or maybe it’s the Tequila sunrise making me overlook everything else. Haha
My experience was incredibly good , from the hospitality to the food I have no complaints and the stuff were so welcoming they kept asking if I was good and all
Brother Tshepo at Mimosa Mugg & Bean gave us a great service and atmosphere
I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant. Tshepo was my waiter, and he was incredibly friendly. He was eager to help and even educated me about some menu items I didn’t know much about. Overall, I would rate my experience a perfect 10 out of 10. The food was delicious, the environment was clean, and the vibes were great.
I was served by Lerato, great experience I would definitely recommend her and her services
The service and the food was very nice. Laurenti the waiter was serviced us was super nice and welcoming.
