Amazing place with breathtaking views, crystal-clear turquoise waters and cosmic-looking rock formations, very much recommend to take a trip
A wonderful place to visit with a low draft sailing boat. The permit cost is 40% cheaper for sailing boats, which is logical and we appreciate that. Powerboats are noisy and generate pollution. The park has hundreds of places where to anchor, pristine and ecologically sound. The park authorities obviously do a good job!
After spending some days at Capo Testa, where we enjoyed snorkeling and discovering a reach underwater life, we decided to take a boat trip to the Maddalena National Park. We were full of expectation, thinking how wonderful it may be snorkeling there. Sailing with the wind in a small crew was a good start, but the the stop at the first cove was very disappointing: we were expected to swim between moving boats, so we risked to see nothing, life under water almost not existing. We were told that since it is September now there is less nautic trafic, but we witnessed every kind of boats coming from all directions and very close to the coves. We anchored in a more quiet and less touristic cove but again underwater life very poor. The day was at the end pleasant because of sailing and a nice skipper and the visit to the Cala Rosa, which is really protected, but we understood that the National Park is not a place to protect nature rather it is a place to make money, a LunaPark for reach tourist. I hope things will change and more ecologic tourism, which still advantage local people, will develop. Instead of taking a boat trip, please look for nice caves along the cost and you will have more fun and save money!😊
Beautiful landscape. Best is island Caprera which is connected to La Maddalena with a bridge. You can do nice walks in the national park.
Extremely clear and turquoise water. It's good to rent a pneumatic boat alone around 270 euros / day in August. From Palau you can walk about an hour to the interesting beaches and the pool area
Just Outstanding. We ALL have to protect these places. Some Plastic Pollution also here, but engaged local People to Clean it!
Beautiful clear water, blue skies almost every day, honestly a perfect place to go on vacation and relax
It is definitely a must see in Sardinia. You need to take a ferry from Palau, but it's absolutely worthy. Beautiful crystal water and sandy beaches

🏝️Paradise beach , truly stunning (specially in low season when at some point we were just in 4). Once you arrive to the 1st beach, continue for a bit more cross the rocks on the left side; you will be rewarded with an even better little Cala only accessible otherwise by boat/swimming. 🅿️ We left the car parked on one side of the road , at the beginning walk. Easy to find following google maps. 👟The walk from the road is approx 1.65km / 35-40min. It is moderate hike with many up & down hills. It can feel tougher with the heat. Strongly recommend to bring comfortable shoes & enough water. ⛱️ If possible bring an umbrella to cover from the sun as there is not much shadow in the calas. Also it’s a good spot for 🤿 ♻️ As there is no trash in the beach /parking please bring back with you all of it to ensure we keep clean the natural park.
Could be our favorite beach in all of Sardinia! Very small but easily accessible by boat and swimming in, incredible photo opps!
One of Sardinia’s protected beach. Only 60 people allowed per day. No boats, no shortcuts—just one hour of rocky descent (and a bit of rope-aided scrambles). We went with an official guide on a group hike. It’s not a stroll in the park. It’s a hike that earns its reward. And when you finally jump into that crystal-clear Sardinian water, every drop feels like nature’s applause. Was it worth the climb, the sweat, the steep descent? Absolutely. Would I do it again? Also yes. Coticcio is a marvel. Some places aren’t just beautiful—they’re worth earning. The list of official guides can be found in the official park website, most of which can be contacted via WhatsApp. We went on the afternoon session, which means climbing back up with the sun not in front of our face, makes it easier.
Really beautiful beach, but a tough trip to get there. We were quite unprepared as there wasn't much information, so I'll share some here. The entire hike is in the sun, so bring enough water! We were sweating like crazy and there is a lot of climbing and descending. There are some tough spots where you will have to descend sitting, so make sure you have your hands free and aren't heavy loaded. You should wear sneakers of some sort, because there is someone checking if you do at the beginning of the trial. She won't allow you to do the trial if you wear flip flops, and with good reason. The beach consists of two beautiful little beaches divided by rocks and the water is delightful to swim in after the hike. As the lady said, the trial is recommended for experienced hikers, and they will take about 45 min to go to the beach and another 45 to return.
Sardintrek (Park guide) Park regulations: Access is only permitted when accompanied by an authorized guide. Access requests must be made at least 7 days in advance. There are 4 shifts of 5 hours each, two in the morning and two in the evening. Online payment of a €3 ticket is required. Crystal clear water 💦 you can go only my a guide hiking
Heaven in earth 🌏 , nice clear water with fish around you one of the best places

Nice place, lot of restaurants and relaxing atmosphere for croissant and coffee
Ships going often. Good service. Emplyers doesnt really care what is written on a ticket...
We took the ship with Maddalena Lines, price was fair (round trip approx 24€ for 2adults +car). Since we took to come here from Palau Maddalena Lines we had to come exactly at the time the ship was leaving, as is the same pier for all companies. You can park in the parking near by and join the line in the pier once you ship is about to arrive. Service & staff were very professional & friendly
Expensive tickets, not much to buy in the cafeteria... but good service! Since we were early we could take the ferry one hour earlier
La Maddalena is really a secret destination so much nice spots, beaches and nature on this tiny little point!
Wonderful sea and beach
Price 17 EUR for a 20 min trip is a rip off!

I visited Spiaggia di Cala Spalmatore on a sunny and warm October weekday, and it was an amazing experience. The beach was peaceful with only a few people, making it perfect for relaxation. Parking was easy to find, which made the trip even more convenient. The crystal-clear waters and beautiful surroundings create an ideal spot to enjoy nature. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a serene beach escape.
This beach has nothing interesting outside of the view on yachts that anchor in the bay. It’s fairly small, located near the road, the water feels on the dirty side, there is not so much place and it’s not super picturesque. Overall I’d avoid this one
Nice beach, I think there are nicer one around the island but my partner was very fond of this one. If you are keen you can walk through the water to get to some quiet spots :) i stepped on a sea urchin so be careful!
Wonderful place with many advantages. Great service offered there. Umbrellas and sunbeds are high quality and comfortable. Beach is located in a very quite place protected from wind. Anna Lisa offers so great support and possibility of earlier reservation. Strongly recommended
Great little beach on La Maddalena. Rock formations surround this beach on three sides, making it naturally sheltered from the wind. On the very left there’s a tiny separated part, so if you’re lucky, you can fee like you are all alone there
Beautiful beach with good snorkeling! Nice little bar although we only got drinks. Beach can get quite busy.
Lovely little secluded beach, very quiet and peaceful, lots of little fish in the sea
the water was not so clean as in other areas around Sardegna. I think there are much better places/ beaches to visit in La Maddalena

Very nice beach!! The colors are spectacular The access by car is pretty hard but if you have a suv then it’s fine, you can go close to the beach. We left our car at the end of the road and just walked for around 15 min. We were in a cloudy day and it was amazing, i just try to imagine how is in a sunny day 🙈 This place is a must if you’re on the island!!
The best beach we have been to in Sardinia, really worth the visit, beware of parking spaces during peak season. Definitely a must.
We recently had the pleasure of visiting Spiaggia Testa del Polpo, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. We started our adventure by taking a ferry to the location and then embarked on a scenic walk to the beach. The views along the way were absolutely breathtaking, with stunning landscapes that left us in awe. Once we arrived at the beach, we were greeted by crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The vibrant marine life added an extra layer of magic to our experience in the water. The beach itself was a hidden gem, providing a peaceful atmosphere where we could relax and soak up the sun. One of the highlights of our visit was the sunset. Watching the sun dip below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, was nothing short of spectacular. It was a perfect way to end a day filled with adventure. Overall, the hike to Spiaggia Testa del Polpo is one of the most beautiful walks we have ever done. The combination of stunning views, swimming, snorkeling, and a picturesque sunset made for a fantastic day. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to explore the natural beauty of the area!
The "Octopus" beach is known for its fine, light-colored sand, but in my opinion, it's a bit overrated. Arriving by sea, you can admire a cove with spectacular and unforgettable colors. Unfortunately, once on land, the beach turns out to be small, damp, and full of seaweed, as well as garbage. I recommend exploring the smaller coves to the right just before reaching the main beach. If you really want to see it, maybe just for a photo, I suggest leaving your car after the stadium and taking a pleasant 15-minute walk.
Beautiful magic place, crystal clear water, like in carribean, but lots of people. Later also many boats are coming.
One of our favourite beaches! Crystal clear waters and full of little coves and opportunities to enjoy the beach! Beware that the vehicular road to get there is full of pointy rocks and dangerous for car tyres…. We recommend parking 10 mins away and walking.
Beautiful beach, but very crowded. Finding a free spot in the sand for a towel can be difficult.
Amazing place to visit, weather was not the best at that time off our visit but still OK for snorkeling.

A ship every 30 mins. It's fast and you can even buy the ticket on board. Therefore you can start lining up and save time. It runs also by night.
€50 return ticket for a car and 2 adults seems very overpriced. The whole trip takes only 20 minutes.
This port is hard to navigate to. Apparently there is multiple lines crossing. And there is no obvious sign on which one there is. And if you buy a ticket you just get a ticket for a line. Not knowing if it’s the one standing at the port. However if you say that you want to buy a ticket in the boat you’ll most likely get away without paying. They hold on to your id but you get it back at the reception.
We bought return tickets but the QR code was not working somehow. We showed the email confirmation and the receipt to this mid-age staff member, who worked on the 12:45pm ferry, wearing mint/blue glasses with pinky ring on his right hand - instead of communicating professionally, he was yelling at us the entire time, and forced us to buy a new ticket. He also took away our passport as if we were going to run away with our car from a moving boat. Had the worst experience ever, extremely rude and unprofessional handling of ticketing. To that staff member (Giovanni): if your job makes you so mad and miserable, maybe consider working elsewhere or retire?!
Lower frequency and more expensive (10 EUR more , for a car & 2p) than the other company (Delcomar). Avoid them if possible and take the other one for a better value.
Avoid at all costs!! Not gonna bother about prices compared to others, but waiting in the port of La Maddalena in peak summer for 1.5 hours while ferry is parked next to you (their sailing times are way off) and Delcomar boarding every 30 minutes makes you boil. Also luring customers from street in Palau office. Avoid if you don’t want trouble!
Never more.. Use another company..
Avoid if possible, rude and unprofessional staff.

Island

Accessible by boat, this picturesque, uninhabited island features sandy beaches for swimming.
Slide 1 of 8
Isola Spargi is part of the Maddalena archipelago, north of Sardinia. Its located in the Strait of Bonifacio, between Corsica and Sardinia. The sea and the beaches are a real paradise. As being an uninhabited island and within the Maddalena National Park, its wild nature is what attracts the majority of people. You can reach the island by private boat or organised boat trips. You cant dock on the coast but only anchor distant from the coast. the water is crystal clear and a big variety of fishes. Remember in the weekends many boats and people visit this island
Very nice island, but be aware that wild boars attack people-especially those who have food.
Must see! Very nice!
Great place especially for swimming, you can rent a small boat to drive to this place.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful island, with wonderful beaches, although very crowded already at the beginning of June. One thing struck me negatively: on the beach I saw a limping wild boar, stoned by tourists. That wild boar is not there out of benevolence or protection, but only to attract tourists, and I did not like that at all. I am an animal lover and it hurts me to see an animal treated so badly. It seems like just an excuse to take some photos, without respect for its well-being.

Beautiful quiet beach tucked away but still easy to get to by boat or via a tour. A must see on your visit to Sardinia!
If you did not take a boat here and bask in the Sardinia sun and swim in the turquoise water, your trip is wasted. This is just 1 of the many breathtaking spots of the La Magdalena experience that just simply takes your breadth away.
Beatiful beach in the Spargi island in the Maddalena Arcipelago. Absolutely must see if you want to ses the island’s real beauty. You can rent a boat or buď a ticket for a guided excursion at the port of Palau, Baja Sardinia, Cannigione and others. If you are lucky enough you can park your own yacht there :)
One of the most beautiful bays we have visited. Although it is a shared experience with maaaany other tourists ;) the water is beautiful and shallow. Sandy beach that comes with chances to be visited by boars 🐗
Beautiful beaches with shallow waters, if you have the energy it's worth scrambling I've the rock to explore all the beaches.
Beautiful natural beach, you can reach it by boat/boat tour, watch out for the wild pig roaming the beach sometimes, it is quite bold and walks around the crowds of people, it won't attack unless provoked, just don't bring food or contain it well. The information staff try to keep the pig out of the place. There's not much shade, bring your own umbrella if possible if you plan to stay longer. Usually a lot of people, they come with tour boats.

Absolutely loved this little ice cream shop! The ice cream was delicious — full of flavor and super creamy. The seller was incredibly welcoming, kind, and had such a positive vibe. She made the experience even sweeter! The shop itself is also really cute and cozy. Definitely a must-stop if you’re in the area! Try pistachio it’s banger 😍😍
Amazing granita, very refreshing and natural when walking in the heat! The lady who works here is the kindest person we’ve met on this island. She speaks very good English and is helpful with gelato flavours and with helping tourists get around the island :)
If you are looking for a variety of flavor, great quality and a team that is warm and super friendly - come here! ♡ we went there twice in our stay in La Maddalena and if we could, we would rate it 100/5 Stars! Thank you for serving the best Banana-Ice-Cream and Shake ever tasted ♡
They have vegan options 🥳 Banana and pistachio were tasty and the price is also fair (2,50 EUR for 2 bowls). Also very friendly service. 👌
The best ice cream on the island ! Possibly in the world! We went every day and every flavor was amazing! Always served with a smile❤️
Loved this place! The gelato is delicious (get the pistachio 💚) and the staff couldn’t be nicer. Best gelato in La Maddalena for sure!
The lady who server me was very polite and attentive. Very nice vegan flavours. Went there twice. Thanks
Really enjoyed this Gelateria, inside the top 5% I've been to and I've been to a lot. 4 scoops for €4.50 is great value for North Eastern Sardinia. The staff who work here make the experience even better as well, very funny and friendly, great banter

Most beautiful beach I ever seen
First of all it’s not pink like in the pictures. Secondly you can’t swim, it’s a protected area. Waste of time.
The is no Pink sand not even look like pink. Same beach as Sardinia has everyvere
Outstanding beach with soft white/pink sand and clear turquoise water. The pale pink pigment originates from the foraminifera, a coral insect that lives in the reefs. When their lives come to an end, they wash up onto shore, creating a rosy hue in the sand.
Not allowed to access. Visible by boat. Nothing special
Great beach with beautiful views in every direction. Encourage you to spend money to take a private boat and explore this whole area
Beautiful beach, but not pink at all... and you cant walk on the beach or swim- allowed only to walk near the rope 😳 I saw the local Robinson who is living here for many years ✌️

Beautiful beach, great for families and easy access
Great beach with crystal clear water You need to bring your umbrella , no facility.
Gorgeous beach. We only got there at sunset and it was still lovely. yes there is seaweed but it is natural
Worth a visit, awesome like others in the same region..
Beautiful totally calm Sandy beach. Turquoise water and soft sand. There is a beach shack restaurant with shade and about 10 tables. They serve food and drinks. They also have chairs and umbrellas for rent. The standard 30€ for an umbrella and 2 chaise lounges with head shade covers. Only bummer is that you have to listen to hum of their generator instead of the peacefulness of the natural surroundings. Also a slight sulfur smell, but not enough to be bother some. Stop at I Mille on the road here for the best sandwiches ever! Came in the afternoon on a partially cloudy day in early June and got the last parking spot in the lot. Not a lot of parking.

We stopped by randomly on the way to Caprera Beach and spontaneusly asked if they have any slots free … We had no experience waterski and wakeboard behind the boat and were excited to try and got a slot with Jole … Jole is a great instructor who patiently explained us how it works and after 1-2 starts we got up and going and it was worth every minute ! Thanks again and we will be back for sure !!! Cool to meet Master Jeff in person too !!
Jeff the maestro doing what he loves. Phenomenal instructor but what else do you expect from a double world champion 🏆 Very easy instructions from Jeff and always supportive with feedback and praise. Would 100% recommend going!
Our instructor was Jeff, who is the owner of this place. We were instructed by him patiently on how to get on and control the wakeboard, allowing us to get to a level way past what we had expected in only an hour! A wonderful experience for the kids, which we would have continued if the holidays hadn't ended. The environment is really nice and clean and with an instructor so fun is guaranteed. The best experience possible! We will be back and I recommend everyone to go!! Beautiful simple church, worth a visit for quiet reflection
As far as churches go this is one of many, nothing too amazing to look at on the inside but very well designed and simple in its presentation on the outside. Guess it’s worth a peek if you are around the area and just want to check it out for a quick second, or pray if you’re into doing that stuff.
The old churches are always majestic and awesome. The time and effort put into the building is great
small church, nothing special
Nothing to see compared to churches in Sweden with the paintings..
(Translated by Google) A beautiful church right on the harbor, but not spectacular, and can be viewed in 10 minutes. Next door is a small museum, admission by donation. It's quite nice. (Original) Schöne Kirche direkt am Hafen, aber nicht spektakulär, in 10 Minuten fertig besichtigt. Nebenan gibt es ein kleines Museum, Eintritt gegen Spende. Ist ganz nett
If you are in La Maddalena City it's quiet a nice place to visit and take a quiet rest.

It is one of the best beaches, with powdery white sands and clear water, as well as walking around wild boars.
Best beach in Sardinia , blue clear waters, ideal for swimming or snorkelling ( no need for wet shoes) .
Beautifull beach. Beware of the wild pigs (do not bring food with you here) Can be reached with a boat.
Simply amazing! A must see!
OMG that beaches on Sardegna are incredible, this island is top of my private world ranking
What a beautiful place….
Must visit when in Sardegna!
