A charming place, worth a visit during a walk around the city. The market offered a wide selection, and everything seemed fresh.
One of the many little centres of life in Treviso. On this piece of land surrounded by water of the Cagnan canal a fish market takes place.
Nice place for aperitive and cicchetti, good location and helpful staff
Super nice fish market in a beautiful surroundings.

Slide 1 of 8
The Fontana delle Tette, located in Treviso, is an ancient sculpted fountain that has a curious history. During the domination of the Republic of Venice, this fountain poured white and red wine on the occasion of particular celebrations. Its name, translated into English, means “The Fountain of Tits”. The fountain was built in 1559 on the orders of Alvise Da Ponte, mayor of Treviso, following a severe drought that hit the city and the surrounding countryside. In honor of each new Podestà ( a chief magistrate of a medieval Italian town) the fountain gushed red wine from one breast and white wine from the other. All citizens could drink for free for three days during these celebrations. The original fountain was located inside the Palazzo Pretorio, in via Calmaggiore. Today, a copy of the original sculpture is placed in the courtyard of Palazzo Zignoli, while the original is preserved under the portico of Palazzo dei Trecento. The Fountain of Tits represents a curious and fascinating piece of history, testimony to past times and unique traditions. 🍷🍇 Visited February 2024
Tucked away in a cute corner with a few benches and a sign explaining the history of the fountain.
A quiet, warm feeling spread through my chest when I looked at her, but it was almost instantly followed by a subtle prickle of shame that made me look away. The warmth was pleasant, a soft pull, but the shame was a fleeting, bitter taste, a silent reprimand for having the feeling at all. It was a brief and private tug-of-war, hidden beneath a calm exterior.
Great place to visit. You can calm down here and cool.off from the City. The water that comes from the Woman s breasts ist also drinkable.
Charming and humorous, this little corner with this iconic statue represents well how I see my beloved Italy.
Well worth a visit, as a distraction from the more conservative sights of Treviso Centro Storico. There are two benches and a plaque explaining the fountain. The plaque is only written in Italian and is quite poetic. If you use Google Lens you can get a translation. On the opposite wall from the Pinko store window is another plaque with a poem about Treviso. This is also only in Italian.
A must see place in Treviso as it has a lot of history behind it.
In a place where there is nothing, big stories are made up to attract tourists' attention to small things. The fountain has such a story, but still, it's a fun spot to see and take photos.

Frescoes & excavated artefacts from the 14th to the 18th centuries, displayed in a former monastery.
Slide 1 of 8
Very nice museum, I went there at about 12:00 and was almost alone and I enjoyed it very much! This museum had English translations and it was nice because I could read about the exhibits. The building is spectacular with the inner garden space and the old church. I also liked the fact that some rooms had a sensor that opened the lights when you walked in the room, so you’re saving energy and is a nice touch seeing the exhibits light up gradually. The stuff was very friendly!
Signage does not correspond to the artefacts everytime so it needs to be updated. However, I am not giving my 1 star just for that but it's because I had a rather shocking experience. I bought five postcards and three of them were priced at 1.50€ on the signage. The price for the others wasn't even showing. I was charged 10€ for the postcards. The lady at the counter took an eternity to give me the bill as she looked up the postcards individually on the system. When I pointed out the price issue she made a phone call, again taking more of my time. Although the lady at the counter apologised, I cannot understand how there is such a lack of updating the prices in a museum shop which is so small, maybe having around 100 items on sale.
Very interesting and beautiful museum. The building is beautiful as well and the exhibition is greatly curated. You can buy one ticket for 10 euros and visit this one and museum Bailo.
An unexpected pleasure to find this museum. It has an archaelogical part, a pinacoteca and then the Santa Caterina church with frescos dating back to the 13th century.
It was really lovely to walk around and you could listen in English aswell. The Art was only beautiful one piece was nicer than the other.
Great museum presenting mostly artists and art from Treviso through the ages. It’s not very big so it’s a great choice if you have free hour or two
Beautiful museum which provides a wealth of information about Treviso and art. It is well adjusted for the foreign visitors, by which I mean that the labels in English are of good quality. Quite the unforgettable experience, especially the medieval frescoes which impressed me with their colours and minute execution. This museum is on pair with those in Venice in terms of professionalism and quality of display. I loved every second of my visit!

Lovely, enjoyed a little hike along the walls of treviso. Ancient, well built and beautiful just like Italia 🇮🇹 The walls go round the town and you can walk so far. There are lots of river, canal paths below and we spotted the biggest rat the world has ever seen! 🐀
What a beautiful place from the moment you walk inside the walls
Great place to learn an aspect of the history of the city...
Nice place for a walk. You can meet quite a few people exercising (walking or running) there, as well as families going for a nice walk by the river (or canals), on a Sunday afternoon. There are stairs every block or so, so you don't need to worry about going up at one point and going down at another. I didn't see stairs to the outer side of the city, though.
Historical defensive city walls. You can have a walk and relax in a peaceful place with amazing views.
This place is beautiful, full of life and very well kept. Treviso is a walled city and a big part of the north wall (the high inner part, over the actual wall) has been turned into a linear park, the outside has a river and a really nice place called "Penisola del Paradiso", a little island full of bunnies, chickens, roosters, ducks and swans, you can't access but you can see them from different angles. You can go for a run, use your bike to go around the almost 7 km or just a nice walk.
Where the locals and their dogs go daily for a nice walk. Very relaxing. These are the medieval walls that used to protect and surround the ancient city

Refreshing environment
Nice place to visit if you have time to spare before getting your flight from Treviso airport, only a few minutes away.
Pretty poor park, full of mosquitoes
To be honest, I was expecting a lot more - like a walking trail with views of the river. In actuality, it’s just an open field with one small dock out over the river. I guess if you’re close, it’s worthwhile to stop by, but definitely not worth the time to get there. There’s nothing to do and the mosquitos are horrendous.
I love this river. It's awesome alongsides are green and peaceful. It's the best way to walk and stay healthy while you are admiring the environment. I could talk about it infinitely but you can have a look at the fotos to get an idea of what you will going to visit. The river goes around gorgeous cities and amazing landscapes. The kids appreciates a lot the presence of animals, during the journey you may see some local animals.
Beautiful place surrounded by nature along the Sile river where you can also meet old stones of the Serenissima(the most serenity) Republic of Venice
A quiet and nice place, stopped there for a breakfast. Everything was so green and the view to the lake is the best.
A park which reminded me of beautiful parks in Croatia. Serene and one can observe the wildlife and enjoy some quiet time.

Elegant Catholic church dating back to the 1200s, with stone columns, a wooden ceiling & frescoes.
Slide 1 of 8
This beautiful monumental church is located in the south-western part of the historic center, on the left bank of the Sile, in an area mostly recently built as it was severely damaged by the bombings of 1944. Attached to the building is the former Dominican convent, today episcopal seminary. The Church of San Nicolò was built in the early 1300s by the Dominicans also thanks to the substantial bequests of the friar Niccolò Boccalino, better known as Pope Benedict XI. With its simple shapes, but elongated upwards, with the massive perimeter walls just broken by thin slits from which a light enters tempered by the ancient windows, the Church of San Nicolò marks a moment of transition between the robust Romanesque style and the elegant Gothic of transalpine origin. The interior of S. Nicolò has a large space, where you can breathe a pleasant atmosphere of brightness that is reflected in the warm and golden tones of the brick. The Latin cross of the building is divided into three naves cut by a transept on which five parallel apse chapels open. The columns, which support the simple carined wooden ceiling, show frescoes by Tommaso da Modena, present in the second column on the left, depicting San Girolamo, Santa Agnese and San Romualdo. Other frescoes in the church are attributed to his school, although not directly to the teacher. There are 12 columns such as the number of the Apostles, among which the first 2 are in stone. In the presbytery, there is the funeral monument of Agostino Onigo (15th century), a valuable sculptural work by Giovanni Buora and Pietro, Antonio and Tullio Lombardo. Wonderful paintings belong to Lorenzo Lotto, Giovanni Buonconsiglio and Girolamo Pennacchi with the collaboration of Giovanni Matteo da Treviso. The important people of Treviso in the Cappella Onigo were painted by Lorenzo Lotto in the 16th century. The patrons of the time wanted the masters to build the temple with a precise arrangement of windows, medallions and frescoes. Thus the church was built at an angle of 91 degrees and 4 minutes with respect to the line of the sun, and on the day of the winter solstice, around noon, the rays hit perfectly the six medallions arranged on the north side of the church.
Beautiful church. The tall walls and wood ceiling are so unique. The building stands out against the surrounding quiet Traviso neighborhood. A must stop on your tour of the city.
A magnificent church, with a long history. It exudes the spirit of old times. I don't like that the space in front of the church has been converted into a private parking lot.
sooo beautiful place 😊
Northern Italian Gothic masterpiece. Look for the Savoldo altarpiece and the "Treviso Mona Lisa".
Impressive building.
This church is absolutely enormous. Pity the ongoing construction works do not let one enjoy its full glory. The interior is sombre and solemn and features some frescoes from Tommaso da Modena, a Rennaisance artist.

A beautiful church built in the Romanesque-Gothic style. Impressive both outside and inside. Her history is extremely interesting. In the early years of the thirteenth century the municipality of Treviso issued statutes that allowed the mendicant orders to settle inside the walls. A small group of Friars Minor, sent by Francis of Assisi himself, thus arrived in Treviso in 1216, and took up their headquarters in the north-east of the city center, in the area beyond the Cagnan Grande. In this area, which according to tradition was assigned to them by the powerful Da Camino family, the Franciscans built a simple monastery and a chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The community soon became numerous and in 1231 the church and convent began to be built. In 1270 the buildings were completed. An important role in the endowment of the convent was played by Gherardo da Camino, an Italian leader and feudal lord. He is commonly considered the main exponent of the da Camino family. Being a church of regulars, in 1797 the church was occupied by the French and the conventual minor friars were expelled. In 1806 the convent was suppressed by the laws of the Kingdom of Italy. The church was thus used for military purposes and as a stable, while the two large cloisters were demolished. Only in 1928, after a restoration, was it reopened. The interior of the church is extremely beautiful in simplicity and is full of significant works by great masters of painting. On the left wall, there is a gigantic fresco depicting St. Christopher, a Romanesque-Byzantine work of the late thirteenth century. On the sails of the vault of the main chapel of the apse are the Four Evangelists, the Stigmata of St. Francis, a Madonna with Child and Adam, from the fourteenth-century Venetian-Emilian school, probably the work of a pupil of Tommaso da Modena. In the first chapel on the left (Giacomelli chapel) there is a work by Tommaso da Modena, the fresco of the Madonna with Child and seven saints (1350), a true artistic masterpiece of the church and testimony of the refined Gothic style of the Emilian master then active in city. In the second chapel on the left there is a fresco by the Maestro di Feltro, Madonna and four saints from 1351. The church houses the tombs of some famous people: Pietro Alighieri and Francesca Petrarca the most important. The first, son of Dante Alighieri, was a judge, poet and commentator residing in Verona who died in Treviso during a stay in 1364. The second, daughter of Francesco Petrarca, died in childbirth in 1384. From the church comes masterpice the „Sacred Conversation“ (1480) by Alvise Vivarini, and the „Meeting of Joachim and Anna with St. Louis IX and Santa Libera“ by Carpaccio today in the Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice.

A must see in Treviso! Historic landmark where you can also find people and events.
Great location. In the ancient times...this was the place where the noble people of Treviso had meetings.
Built in llate 13th century.
The Loggia dei cavalieri ( Lodge of Knights ) is one of the most representative buildings in the historic center of Treviso. A little hidden gem where all the magic of Treviso is felt. It is located at the crossroads between via Martiri della Libertà and via Indipendenza, probably in the place of the ancient forum of the Roman Tarvisium. Symbol of political power assumed by the nobles in the period of the Free Commune, it was built between 1276. and 1277. during the podesteria of Giacomo from Perugia as a place for conferences, conversations, games for the nobility, the Knights, in fact. The Loggia is an beautiful example of Romanesque Treviso, influenced here by Byzantine architecture. The loggia was decorated with frescoes in two stages and the layers of plaster are now mostly overlaid. The first decoration was probably made between 1276 and 1277. The second layer of frescoes dates back to 1313-14, following the aristocratic revolution that led to the expulsion of the da Camino (a noble family from Treviso, protagonist of the medieval history of the Triveneto). The inscription in large black Romanesque uncial characters on white is still visible on the oldest decoration: "Hoc opus factum est tempore nobilisni Andreae de dno Iacobo de Perusio Pot. T..."
A beautiful historical place, where many interesting activities take place.
Beautiful remnants of the Middle Ages, the times when Treviso was an independent city-state ripe with chivalric culture. Here you can read up more about the maintenance efforts. It’s worth completing the knowledge by visiting Santa Caterina Museum, which has a section on the painted city. You can still see frescoes around the lodge, though some were damaged with time.
This is one of oldest and most beautiful monuments in Treviso. It is often used for concerts and small displays
A beautiful open and shaded space to relax and enjoy the historical majesty of the lodge. Nice bar next to it.

The best camping you will find in the area! Everything is brand new and clean, hosted by lovely and welcoming people, when we arrived we got all the information we needed, close to the city one twenty minute bus ride away. We had so much fun that we stayed another night and didn't leave until the next morning. We will come back for sure!
The garden space was part of an old villa. During summer people can enjoy the shadows of the many trees or lay on the grass under the sun. There are games for children and a lake.
Nice but somwat forgotten. Maybe I was there when nothing was open such as Dino park.
It's a nice park near the city of Treviso with a bar inside and a kids play area. During the summer they also do children's theatre plays.
Nice place to visit with kids
I love this place. For nature, calm, coffee and chills, it's the best. Always a lovely crowd of very few people :) The cafe is small and simple and has exactly what you need for an easy day of enjoyment. It is a prefect place to read solo, play football with the kids, spot the turtles 🐢 in the lake, walk amongst the ancient trees 🌲🌳🌴, lay on the grass between the rose 🌹bushes, take your pick and do what you like. There is a toilet by the cafe which is always a bonus and the staff in the cafe are beyond beautiful in their energy and persona. There are many more activities and sorts organised, arranged or available here - these I know little about but go investigate for yourself. Family friendly and above all it is a piece of nature paradise for everyone passing. Enjoy 😊
Beautiful charming atmosphere place, suitable for families with children of all ages
Gorgeous park, perfect for families. Would be great if there was a fenced area for dogs to play freely, a basketball court, maybe some playground equipment for adults to exercise such as parallel bars pull up bars etc.
