We also ordered some salads and I saved room for the butterscotch pudding dessert special I had seen on social media. I had tried one of these at another local establishment and it was pretty good. The bar staff were all friendly and attentive. It is just on the edge of Gettysburg near the battlefield. I did get some photos of the interior of the building through the windows. I really wish it was open as it looked really nice inside with the Christmas decorations. This was a motel location at one time but they were able to restore it back. You get a great understanding of what it was and the significance of the headquarters. They have plenty of plaques around to read. They even recreated the dog house for Austin. He was the dog who lived at the Mary Thompson House during the Battle of Gettysburg The American Battlefield Trust added a section for all those that supported this project.
