First of all, what you get for a 7 pounds pizza is a piece of bread that's smaller than a iPhone 15 with cheese and a shameful amount of pulled beef brisket kind of beef. The beef is absolutely not bulgogi-related as its honestly not much more flavourful than a purely boiled piece of beef (seriously where was my bulgogi???) They did mention the size of the pizza in the description so I don't blame the size but was expecting the beef being well marinated or at least covered with bulgogi sauce. As for the corndog, they used a Frankfurter sausage instead of hot dog which is again mentioned in the description so understandable if it tastes not as authentic due to the choice of sausage. However, the batter outside is not what you would use for a Korean/ asian style hotdog. It’s much fluffier and tastes more like a pizza dough/ bread instead of the batter you would normally use which should have a hint of sweetness and is denser. I would say the corndog itself is ok if there is no “korean” in the description. Another thing I wanted to point out is the 5% service charge they automatically apply for you when you check out on the kiosk, even for the take out order. Yes it is removable but I do think it's quite cheeky to add that as I believe there're people like me who didn't notice but pay for it. I had high expectations for Kimchi Cult but unfortunately ended up writing an essay expressing how upsetting my experience was. Per chi è alla ricerca di un vero piatto di pasta fresca fatto come Dio comanda, questo è il posto definitivo. Amplio locale con cucina a vista, nonché laboratorio per preparazione live di tortelli, tagliatelle, paccheri... tutto fresco, tutto fatto sul momento. Sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dalle tagliatelle fresche al sugo (beef) con pomodoro fresco... vino della casa buono e a buon mercato (San giovese di Puglia). Se vogliamo cercare il pelo nell'uovo... non servono gli amari. Caffè molto buono, peccato però che non sia possibile accompagnarlo con un amaro. A parte questo dettaglio, l' esperienza è stata davvero positiva.

Upon arrival, we were seated immediately and service was efficient & attentive. It was busy as expected. The server offered us drinks and upsold their wine specials. We soon received a jug of the chosen wine and table water. We ordered olives, parmesan shortbread and sourdough bread to start. That was followed by the duck breast, carrot puree and parsnips. For dessert we ordered the chocolate fondant and Ice cream. The bill came to £117.00, before we added a 15% gratuity. The service was quick and efficient but something was lacking. The downstairs venue was good for the gig but I could imagine it would be very cramped if sold out. They had painted the door and some wooden boxing around the room. It did have signs saying wet paint but it was hard to avoid and the girlfriend ended up with paint on her jeans. Great gig but I wouldn't go back and definitely not for food and drink.

It was so delicious and the balsamic twist was a really pleasant extra to it! The portion size was perfect, surprisingly filling but not too much. The tiramisu is one of the best I have tasted, Otello explained that it was his mums recipe and what a recipe it is! The food is bursting with flavour and you can tell it is made fresh and with love. One thing I wish I had known was that the monkfish was breaded from the menu, as I’m not a huge fan of breaded/battered fish - but my boyfriend who never eats fish tried a bit and then ate half of it! Couldn’t believe it! Another little point - We were slightly confused when we first arrived as to why we were sat next to another table of two & a baby, when the whole restaurant was free at this point, we asked to be moved and all was well. Just was a very close table in a quiet setting and very close together, felt rather awkward and could really hear each other’s conversations .

You may not have heard of it, there's no big showy signs, no opulent interiors and its not in a listed building in the heart of the city. And it's better than so many places with all three of those. The hospitality is genuine, the staff all seem delighted to see you, they chat lovingly and knowledgeably about the food and the wine. They want you to have a great dining experience, not because they hope you'll leave a good review or a good tip, but because they seem to genuinely care about their customers. The vibe is laid back, they recognise if you've been before, it feels like a supper club or visiting that one mate that can actually cook and so you and your pals hang out there a lot. The ingredients and the dishes are traditional, tongue, liver, mussels, the best steak Tartare I've had outside of Paris. But this isn't how you'd granny would make it, the dishes have more twists than a Guy Ritchie movie. They are consistently brilliant, with the quality of the ingredients shining through. Bread & butter has never been so exalted. The plate size is all about sharing, three people really should just order every dish on the menu, you'll be nice and full and won't have missed out on anything. The same approach to desserts is absolutely the way forwards. You're looking at around forty to fifty pounds a head if you do this, but with some really good wine available you'll probably spend more. This may well be my favourite restaurant of the last year. But I should probably go back one more time, just to make sure…

La carte n’est pas très grande mais suffisamment pour que chacun trouve son bonheur. Le personnel est juste adorable et le cuisinier vient en personne à chaque table demander si tout se passe bien.
