While the quality of the fish was good, they were extremely skimpy on how much was put in each roll, and attempted to cover it up by loading the rolls with rice. This roll only had the essence of the advertised spicy tuna and was also missing tobiko and green onion. For the high prices, this was unacceptable. Plates were dirty (see attached image). Some kids just left as we got there, they only had drinks (they wanted sushi but there wasn’t any) and the server brought us to their dirty table which mind you was right next to a clean table. The server proceeded to clean the kids mess for us to sit and put all the dirty cups left by the kids onto the clean table that was right next to us as well as forgetting to change the plates and wipe down the table. We ended up having to ask for new plates as the server didn’t even think to change them. The cook was very non-enthusiastic and didn’t cook everything correctly, the only portion of my food I got correct was the steak. The fried rice had zero vegetables or egg, the serving of vegetables was not cooked fully, and I usually get stake and scallops and the scallops were half raw. As well as all of their sodas were flat except sprite and Shirley Temple. I ordered a Dr Pepper and it took 25 minutes to get a new drink after receiving my flat Dr Pepper. Once it came time to pay for the party of 5 that consisted of my family. The server put in the auto tax for parties of 6, and then proceeds to tip herself $52, even tipper herself with the tax for 6 people. I don’t care who you are tipping yourself $52 dollars off of a poor service is insane. When we called for a refund after seeing this, the guy who answered the phone tried to guilt trip us and make us feel bad for asking for only $5 back. Again if it were me on the phone rather than my mom I would’ve asked for a full refund with how terrible the service was and then the server tipping herself an insane amount of money. Truly disgusting to see a place my family has continuously gave their service too, a place I’ve came too for my birthday every single year since I was 5 (23 now) sometimes even going twice a year (for my sisters birthday on top of mine) treat their repeat customers in such manner. With poor service and entitled servers looking to ensure they get an abundant of money even after messing up almost every step of the way with no empathy. Truly sad to see my family’s tradition of a birthday dinner at this establishment be smashed because this restaurant went down hill to a point where we were given poor service, basically scammed and then guilted tripped after asking for at least a little refund from the outrageous tip. My family will definitely never give their service or money to this establishment again.
