The halls and room smelled. The bathroom had hairs all of the counter when we got there, there was mold all in the bathroom, the AC barely worked in our room so it was SO hot, and the front desk ran our card 4 times, and locked my card because of potential fraud. The staff was wonderfully friendly. The breakfast was awesome. They had my favorite - eggs and sausage. The sheer curtain in our room had a large tear in it that someone had tried to remedy with sewing and small safety pins. Obviously someone knew about it but didn't take care of it. Breakfast on Saturday's doesn't start till 7 am, even though the dry eraser sign in the lobby said 6 am. They didn't even have a grab and go sack breakfast for early travelers, so we got no breakfast at all as planned. Upon check out I wanted to mention how unpleasant the noise was and about the light fixture (in case it may need to be fixed), but after a 5 minute wait we never saw a single employee. My husband was so mad he just told me to drop the keys in the check out box and go. This was out worst Best Western experience.

These should be fixed immediately for safety reasons. There was a piece of siding above the back patio that was hanging. I reported this danger to staff. They took pictures and reported to corporate. However I can not recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a higher end or luxury leaning stay. It is not clean. In the 1st room I received the sheets had not been changed - hair in the bed. In the 2nd room I received the sheets had not been changed - multiple hairs throughout the bed. Unfortunately, there was no housekeeping until the next morning. I was told my only option was to down grade which I was fine with. My 3rd room turned out to be a suite. While I appreciate the gesture I received the room around 11pm & departed 8:30am, it wasn’t something I could “enjoy.” I did request a partial refund but was denied due to the “free upgrade.” Again, fine. At the nightly rate clean rooms shouldn’t be an issue.The rooms themselves are not high end but they do have modern furniture. For comparison I’ve stayed in La Quinta’s nicer. I was surprised by the cosmetics flaws such as, holes in walls from old fixtures, scuffs along the walls, rushed build and room details. I believe what makes this hotel “higher end” is it’s dining and bar feature.
