Excellent way to spend some time. We were visiting via cruise ship. Bought our tickets online directly through their website which included transportation. The only hassle was that they needed us to call them, the day of tour, when we got off ship so they could send the driver to pick us up. We did not have any mobile phone service and the free port wifi kept turning off. Not sure even if wifi worked could made contact as do not think they had a whatsapp number. The meeting place is right outside the port entrance next to water fountain which was easy to find. Luckily a nice local man at the gate let us use his phone. Via phone we were giving description of the minivan and name of driver who was picking us up. It was somewhat stressful having to make the phone call to get these details. There is no parking near the fountain but emailing the name of driver and description of van day before would have been very helpful. Edmund was our driver to and from Clifton. EDMUND WAS EXCELLENT. Very friendly and gave much local info on our drive to and from. Vernita was our tour guide at the park. Vernita was also excellent and shared her great knowledge of the park which is a former plantation. We toured some of the housing from those former enslaved on the plantation. After the approx 1 hour walking tour we were taken to the beach and given a excellent chicken, rice and mac cheese lunch. Spent about 1 hour on the beach then back to port. The buns are really like mini-tacos and the shell is this soft, white, dough, very similar to what you'd get in a Chinese dim-sum bun. So it's a puffy, spongy thing that they curl and put the filling in. These were very tasty. I'd recommend getting at least one per person. They have different flavors, but were told the jerk chicken were best and they did not disappoint. We then dug into the duff.
