The location, nestled on the edge of Wanaka, offered both convenience and tranquillity. The lodge sits on a nice property, surrounded by stunning mountain views. Reception staff were lovely. The reason for a three star review was breakfast, for two reasons. Having taken the $32 hot food option we were disappointed with the breadth of selection. Great shared facility with spacious cooking area and lounge. Interesting location with pleasant grounds. Clean rooms and comfortable bed but with a problem. The room is small and has a sliding glass door for an opening. No windows, no ventilation unless you leave the sliding glass door open with a screen that does not seal properly.
