We were going to be eating out the Air BNB but while one of the friends on the trip travelled around that date site seeing, they came upon the distinct smell of steak being cooked and the plans changed quickly…SO GLAD THEY DID. The group rallied around the idea of steak that evening and he made reservations for us at Lake Park Steakhouse. We arrived and it is one of the coolest steakhouses I have ever been in, the Christmas decorations were still up which added to the cozy ambiance of the exposed wood, the cozy seating, the deep reds and greens and the simple warmth of the place. Jasmine was our server and she is absolutely amazing, we had a great time with her as we are or have been in the industry. With all of us staring at the menu, she introduced herself, told us the specials of the evening and brought a round of waters. There was so much to choose from, but because we did not make our reservations early enough we did not get a chance to order the Prime Rib so that it could be prepped properly. But that did not deter us in any way shape or form, they still had plenty of to choose from. So everyone looked and found what they wanted quickly and we got to play a game, Jasmine had these cool, laminated salad or side sheets, they were numbered and we were not allowed to swap with anyone or you were going to get the wrong salad.
