We have never had to wait for a table; there is plenty of space and they seat you immediately. We like many other restaurants in town that offer different cuisine but hands down this is the best Mexican food in the city. The bar has stocked good liquor and they know how to work with it. The drinks are fast and fabulous. Portions are huge. We have tried at least a dozen menu items and never been served anything that wasn’t spectacular. The same goes for the drinks. The avocado margarita is my favorite. For food, you have to try the barbacoa tacos or the fajita burrito. They taste even more beautiful than they look. 3. Service. The staff here has not turned around at all. To me, that tells me they’re doing something right. As an example from our most recent trip, my wife and I had already ordered food and they had already brought us drinks. Food was less than ten minutes, during that time frame 3 different people came and asked if we needed more chips. We didn’t want any more because the food was coming (and the portions are HUGE) so when I told the third person no thank you but that I appreciated being asked and he was the third one to do so he asked if he could remove the basket so I wouldn’t have to politely decline again. This place is on the pricier side and I’m certain many people will gripe about that or be turned off about this place because of it. I get that, but hear me out, me I’d rather come here twice than anywhere else three times. You get what you pay for, so to me for the reasons I listed above (service, atmosphere, food quality, portion size) there are hardly any other businesses that deliver this level of value.
