It is really warm inside, so be prepared, but it is gorgeous and there's multiple little benches you can just sit and enjoy everything from, there were butterflies everywhere, I've been to butterfly gardens where they actually gave you sugar sticks to feed them and I swear there are never nearly as many just flying around. They might not land on you if you aren't being still enough but they will definitely be gliding past you and there were dozens that you could sit and identify at the food stations. They also have macaws and parrots and a flamingo named Mango, right next to the big koi pond, it was just amazing and a fabulous time that we would've missed if we hadn't been looking for something quick and easy and I'm glad we didn't it was 20 bucks for a ticket and no time limit. So if you enjoy butterflies this is a great past time!

There's so much more than butterflies to see here which was a huge surprise. My son loves turtles and was ecstatic to see them walking around (he apparently is an escape artist lol). For only having kayaked a handful of time, the tour was indeed extremely beginner friendly. We went on a full moon night which was not the ideal time to experience bioluminescence, however we were guided to some of the darker parts to fully experience the phenomenon. One of the main highlight regarding the tour was, rather than just observing, got a pretty good run down about the myths prevalent to this effect while also explaining the actual science and some of the fun fact associated with them. We spent our time looking at everything, enjoying the touch pool and learning from the educators about the Salish Sea. Topping off the great conditions was the beatiful sunrise coming up that day and spreading sunshine and steam over the dew on the grass. The course was well watered and so very green and manicured as required. The greens were consistent with cutting and speed. I loved the experience and I hope to come back some day.

When you are paying a bit more for green fees, players want to feel like they are getting their moneys worth, and Cordova definitely ensures that. Players should feel rewarded for hitting shots in the fairway with good lies and nice grass to play off of. You don't see too many brown spots or unmaintained areas on the course which is why I can't wait to play my next round here.

The Ridge course is an excellent par-3 course with tranquil fountains and some of the best ocean views in the city. All located at Mattick’s Farm with its great selection of shops (Red Barn is here) and a miniature golf course too (Summer season only).
