I do not have command of a sufficient number of superlatives to explain to you how wonderful this restaurant is! It was like finding an oasis of Paris on a street corner in Aspen. The food was fantastic, the drinks were perfect and the atmosphere was magical. This is our can’t miss option in Aspen.

This restaurant is truly extraordinary. I consider myself an onion soup, connoisseur, and this onion soup was among the best I have ever had. The summer salad was a 8 1/2 out of 10 it was fresh, but had a little too much dressing. The dessert, a crème brûlée crêpe was also to die for I will eat here every time I come to Aspen. It’s truly a wonderful spot. The atmosphere is also very charming and the weight staff was amazing. I really can’t rate it any higher. It was over $100 without tip and no alcohol, but worth it IMHO.

Let me start off the review with the food being quite good but definitely not worth the time. For example, when I ordered my meal of the gnocchi truffle (48$), the waiter then ask me if I wanted extra truffles on top. However I was unaware of the ludicrous amount they would rip me off with due to the prices not being mentioned on the menu. Those damn truffles cost more than my entire dish (50$). This place for me is a complete scam for anyone who values their money and dignity as the staff here feel like money-hungry vultures. Although I felt absolutely robbed, the presence and neoclassical design of restaurant was atmospheric and homely. But damn what a scam, this is to warn others not to come here. Greatly disappointed

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. From the very beginning, the service provided by the waiter Campell left much to be desired: inattentive, uninterested, and unprofessional. As for the food, I ordered the cheese fondue and it was a huge letdown. While the flavor was acceptable, the preparation was terrible—the bottom was so thick and rubbery it felt like chewing gum, while the top was oily and watery, almost like melted butter mixed with water. This is far from what one expects from a proper fondue. Overall, both the service and the quality fell far below expectations. I will definitely not be returning or recommending this place.

My good friends were in town and I am so glad we had the pleasure of experiencing French Alpine Bistro! Ana, our server was amazing and welcoming. The food was incredible and the Cheese Fondue was incredible. I have had the pleasure of going to 2 wine dinners thus far this year and not only is the food and wine exquisite but the pricing for the quality and portions is one of the best in town. I highly recommend this restaurant and they even allow private parties. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and intimate. Make your reservations early!

Absolutely fantastic experience at the French Alpine Bistro. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all top notch. Cozy French place located in basement cave that feels like you’re traveled to mountain chalet in Alps. High end feel but not stuffy or pretentious. We loved our mains - all on point Alpine dishes like Wiener Schnitzel, etc. server was super friendly. Highly recommend. One of our favorite dinners in Aspen.

Got the rack of lamb special they had, Tasted very gamey. No one that I went with liked their meal. My fiancé got a steak and he thought it was just okay. My mom got fish and thought it was average. None of our food was worth the money. We probably spent close to $600-800 on our dinner and it wasn’t good. The burrata was the best thing there but we asked for more bread for our appetizers to eat it with and they didn’t bring more bread out til our meal came which was like 30 minutes after we had gotten our apps. We stopped in Aspen for the night before heading to Maroon Bells and decided to try The Wild Fig after exploring the downtown restaurants.
The dining space was lovely, with a charming setup indoors and a beautiful patio where we enjoyed a magnificent June evening.
We shared some truffle fries, which were mostly tasty. My boyfriend ordered a New Fashioned, which he enjoyed. I, however, was very disappointed with my entrée. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, expecting the delicate, buttery flavor that this dish is known for. Instead, the fish was firm and overly fishy—qualities that immediately suggested it was not fresh. At $64 for a very small portion, it was extremely underwhelming and frankly appalling to be served what tasted like an old piece of fish.
The atmosphere and service were nice, but the quality of my meal did not match the price point or reputation.

We started with the French onion soup. We weren't sure if the soup was going to be on the salty side, since most places serve it that way. But it wasn't salty at all. It had excellent flavor and lots of onions, just like it should be.
I tried the roasted chicken rubbed with a Moroccan spice. It was cooked perfectly and had great flavors. The pan jar was soooo good. Loved it.
My wife tried the salmon in a bag special. Again perfectly cooked and flavorful.
They have a beautiful outside patio like seating but it was too cold for the restaurant to use when we were there.

Really expected more after eating at 316 in both locations , monarch, and woody creek many times. Not sure how this place is from the same owners. We have had many drinks with Craig over the years and I'm left confused after our dinner last night. The $50 dessert trio was comically overpriced and bad. The seafood risotto and veal dish were excellent. The service was very attentive until the whole staff stood at the bar and looked at each others phones for 20 minutes while we were waiting to order our entrees. 5:30 to 6:30 on 10/19 if you want to look at the cameras.

My husband and I had the five course tasting menu and it was phenomenal!! Amazing flavours and presentation. The chef even wrote us a cute little card for it being our first time away from our baby which was such a sweet and personal touch. We will definitely come back here the next time we are in Aspen!

The creativity in each dish is beyond one's imagination, and the flavors and execution are top-notch! All members of the restaurant deliver exceptional service and are knowledgeable about every dish. If the roasted duck is on the menu, it's a MUST try - cooked to perfection. Definitely order the inflated cabbage - an unexpected dish of deliciousness. The lobster grilled over juniper branches was luxurious and a melt-in-your-mouth dish. I cannot rave enough about Bosq. It simply exceeded our expectations and provided us with a meal of a lifetime!

I was fortunate enough to dine at Bosq in 2024, after receiving a glowing recommendation from a local I met at an event. When I knew I was returning to Aspen, I made it a priority to secure a seat for this visit. I will always remember my time at Bosq. My Fiance had this as a surprise after our engagement on Aspen mountain. I truly appreciate the owners being so sweet to him, and helping get our dinner coordinated.
We travel all over and have been to multiple Michelin star restaurants, but Bosq is & forever will be #1 on my list for multiple reasons.
-the food embodies Aspen perfectly. The presentation of the food, the stories behind the ingredients, and most importantly: the taste. You guys nailed it.
-I loved how personable this experience was for us as well. I collect the menus from all MS restaurants we go to and frame them, and Bosq gave us one with our names on it + a handwritten letter & a beautiful candle from the owners.

Very disappointed. For 2 cocktails, the chef tasting menu and the basic wine pairing (plus tip) the total cost was about $1,400. This food would have been disappointing for half that price. Unfortunately I was too young to have experienced his magic at El Bulli in Spain where he earned his chops, but I was lucky enough to know him through the Mogador days in Aspen where he turned out some of the most creative and exceptional dishes of our time. It was just a very underwhelming meal. For starters when we arrived it took quite a while for someone to greet us and just give us water. We sat inside and the head bartender was either in a bad mood or just liked to throw bottles around. Every time he finished a bottle, he literally threw it in the container pretty aggressively. At first, we thought it was an accident but it kept occurring. It was annoying. Additionally, we were disappointed in the lack of cleanliness. There was a large group sitting at a table and quite frankly they made a mess. That's not the restaurant's fault but it stayed that way for the hour and a half that we were there, which was kind of gross. Food all over the table and floor.
We had high expectations for this restaurant as our first meal was at element 47 and it was incredible there! Great service, great food so we thought that the Ajax would be the same, but more casual and it certainly was not. It was a three at best. Next time we stay at the Little Nell, we will not go back to Ajax Tavern. Very disappointing.

This is one of my favorite spots in Aspen. I would start by recommending the cauliflower appetizer. Additionally the cheeseburger is the best burger in the whole valley (or ever) with truffle fries which are incredible. This is the place to bring your family and friends when they come to visit, or to pop in for apres ski. Great view of the mountain, located right at the base of the gondola. We had dinner, but first sat at the bar, starting with a martini that was excellent—though we had to share one, as the restaurant had run out of Belvedere. That wasn’t the real issue, however.
We ordered the beef carpaccio as an appetizer, and it immediately tasted off. I chose not to eat it, but my partner did and unfortunately became very sick later that evening. It was clear the meat wasn’t fresh.

The salmon and trout dishes we're the best we've eaten as was the Osso Buco. While the acoustics prove to be a bit challenging, it was overall a wonderful experience. Loved Cache Cache ❤️. First time in Aspen and we ate here twice during our 4 day visit. Delicious and flavorful pork chop with homemade pasta. Yum! French onion soup was superb! I have been in here twice over the past week to take advantage of the local's special at the bar. $10 for a glass of rose and $25 per meal is a seriously awesome deal in September for locals, and we appreciate that! The Art Meuseum is a must visit spot in Aspen. It is free to visit and has some very interesting architecture. The view from the rooftop is nice and you can also grab a bite to eat in the Cafe. The exhibit was Andy Warhol originals which was cool to see those in person. I only deducted a star because I am not a major fan of this type of art and this was the only exhibit at a time. But if you are in the area then this is worth a visit. ( I do not own any rights to the artwork but we did ask permission to photograph, these works can easily be found online, enjoy!)

This is our first time to eat there and we had a most enjoyable evening. We had a bone in fillet cooked medium rare and it came out perfect. It was accompanied by roasted garlic. Wow! This was our first time visiting Steakhouse 316 and it did not disappoint. I mean this place exceeded my expectations by a long shot, this was the best steak I’ve ever had. We ordered the 12oz eye of ribeye medium rare and it was perfectly seasoned, thick and juicy, cooked to perfection, and pan searing hot! We also ordered loaded twice baked mashed potato’s and broccolini with anchovy butter, YUM. The flavor really stands out here, as well as the quality of the ingredients. The service was also incredible, we were seated immediately with our reservation and our coats were checked, the staff were very attentive, always filling waters and taking away dishes we were finished with. The manager also stopped by the table to see how everything was, nice touch. Money well spent here in Aspen! Highly recommend.

We had wonderful interactions with all waiters, staff (Alejandro, Justin) and found the conversation with them charming and relatable. The food was excellent, from the recommended west coast oysters, tuna tartare (very good), crab cake (my boyfriend's favorite dish of the night), brussel sprouts, twice baked potato, filet with black truffle butter and a medium-bodied pinot, I think. We both agreed we've had better food and better experiences for half the price on several occasions. By the way, I LOVE steak and I went in wanting to love this place but for the experience and price Steak House No. 316 really fell short.

I ordered a turkey sandwich with tomato, mozzarella and avocado straight off their menu for carry out. That’s not what I got. It was turkey on bread with a bite size square of cheese and a single piece of avocado on each half for $17.60 plus tax. I also asked if it was deli meat or fresh turkey - I was told fresh turkey but it was 100% deli meat.

I recently had the opportunity to dine at a French-run breakfast joint and was unfortunately disappointed by the quality of the food. For a meal totaling over $45, I was expecting a higher level of culinary excellence, but the burrito and omelette we ordered were mediocre at best.
The burrito was small and dry, lacking in flavor and overall appeal. The omelette, on the other hand, was a complete disaster. The eggs were overcooked and had a texture reminiscent of rubber tires, and the smoked salmon and spinach were not incorporated well into the dish. For a restaurant that bills itself as a breakfast joint, I would expect a better execution of classic dishes like the omelette.
On a positive note, the staff were wonderful and very helpful. The coffee was also quite good. Overall, while I appreciated the friendly service, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on the subpar food.

High price small portion subpar food with no service. Breakfast omelette was not cooked right. Chicken sausage tasted like cardboard. Toasts were dry and cold. $9 bullet proof coffee was weak and watery. We ordered sourdough but got white bread. We were charged more for the prices showed on the menu. When asked for a carafe of water, the server grabbed a leftover one from the next table to give to us. I was hoping for much better food in Aspen. We will not be back.

Places in Aspen generally leave me disappointed and amazed that people pay the prices for the lack of quality. In this case, I wasn't overly impressed, but I did like that they have nice outside seating, and they treated my Fur-Daughter well. She had non-dairy scrambled eggs and seemed to enjoy them. The baked goods decent, but I am kind of partial to Loius Swiss. Anyway, give it a try. Order something good for your fur baby too.

Very very chaotic and confusing to order. Different menu outside than inside. Some menu items had prices, some didn’t. Employees yelling names, smoky, when asked for hot sauce was told to find a table that has one. Also the burrito was tasty but VERY small. The huevos rancheros plate was not good. Pastry review: The GF Coffee Crumb cake was excellent. The ratio of streusel crumb topping was spot on. The cake had pockets of a cinnamon filling that had a well-balanced flavor. The soft cake allowed the filling to not feel overly rich. You can see a close up in my picture of the cake.
The chocolate croissant, not pictured, was incredible. I am comparing the chocolate croissant to one of the top French bakeries in San Francisco that I visited last year (I'm originally from CA) and it holds its own as one of the most decadent chocolate croissants I have ever had. The chocolate pieces on top of the croissant are melted flawlessly into the croissant. The chocolate filling is spread evenly and has a decadent flavor with each bite. It was amazing. The worst part is that we live 4 hours from here.

It's a rare restaurant that scores 5 stars across food, service, and atmosphere, but The Monarch hits the trifecta. Everything about the entire dining experience is excellent -- the menu is terrific, the wine list is impressive, the service is personalized without being overbearing, the atmosphere is very nicely done, and the food -- the food is worth coming to Aspen for.
There is not a single thing about this dining experience that we would have changed. The Monarch is a not-to-miss part of any trip to Aspen.

We booked our Christmas Eve Dinner here, and this restaurant delivered. Not only did my boyfriend think the steak was better here than at Catch Steak, but the ambience was wonderful and magical (it’s designed like a London gentlemen’s club so it does lean slightly masculine in style.) All the staff were so happy to be working even though it was a holiday, and our waiter (his name starts with a G and sounded Italian) remembered both of our names and was so kind and hospitable to us. This was a very memorable experience and I would recommend this place to any of our clients visiting from out of town. We ordered the truffle mac and potatoes au gratin which were both cheesy and delicious. 10/10. The Manhattans were good though I wish I had ordered a red wine. I also think the actual filet mignon is better than the bison filet. My boyfriend ordered a bacon bourbon butter and ended up not eating it with his steak even though it sounded great, he said the steak was that good on its own.

I had a great late night! My husband and I were astonished that this restaurant is open 24/7. I parked my F150 for free in their car tower. The food was not the average casino frozen to table entrée. The service here was so personal. The calamari were tasty with just the right amount crisp. The diamond grill marks on my MR steak add a touch of virtuosity. This is a fine dining restaurant and we ordered the Monarch Rockefeller, 32 oz Tomahawk Rib Eye (for 2) with Fingerling Smashed potato with Béarnaise sauce and finished with dessert of sticky toffee pudding.
We also enjoyed the Burning Man and Black Buffalo Manhattans.
Our reservation was at 8 pm (it was a Thursday) and we got seated and greeted quickly and drinks arrived fast too. I was a little surprised at how long it took for our starter to and our meal to arrive but overall it was a lovely experience.

Stopped here for lunch and loved it! We got the pork soup dumplings, pork pot stickers, and Japanese steak wontons. Everything was great! Food came out super fast and was plated really well. The service was great and very friendly and the whole place was very clean. Definitely recommend.

Visited Little Ollie’s Aspen in the off season. The whole town was very quiet as was the restaurant. Food was all OK - I really enjoyed the General Tao’s Chicken, but not so much our Szechuan Beef dish which was very watery for our liking.
Restaurant was all clean and service was fine. Atmosphere would be much better when it’s busier I’m sure.

We absolutely loved this place, and we actually went three times there during a 7-day trip. yes, it is very expensive (which I expect lowers the rating for some), but the sushi is very fresh and very tasty. Atmosphere and service are good (not amazing, hence 4 stars for that). We thought the sushi was as good as other high-end sushi restaurants we have tried elsewhere, and the eel on rice was outstanding. Highly recommend!

Worst social club ever. My family will be cancelling our membership. Went into the caribou club as an invited guest under my family’s account and the owner Billy was incredibly disrespectful and rude after not being able to find my name on the guest list. I called the owner of the account so we could try and fix it but Billy refused to assist us. Even before that his attitude was abhorrent. I’ve been in clubs all over the world Milan, capri, Miami, Vegas, Turks and Caicos, and many more. I have never experienced the level of disrespect I did here. The place also looks like it hasn’t been updated in 20 years. For a place that you have to pay for the privilege to even attend I would expect better service, more patience, and maybe an interior update in the last 15-20 years. There are much better clubs in the area, my advice is your better off anywhere else. We had tons of fun tonight elsewhere and I’m sure anyone else who listens to this review will as well.

Not many options for breakfast and the continental breakfast was $40 which is insane even for aspen. Latte was great and service was phenomenal. Bathroom is outside in a public building. Travelling the state with my brother who is in town on State Business. I guess since I had a backpack and sat at the bar I was considered a transient. Decided to order a club, tipped more than 25% anyway, total > $60. I was not asked how my food was until I was almost done. It was 2:00, end of lunch and I was the sole occupant at the bar. Had a great brunch here before hitting the road. Breakfast burrito was sizable and filling, got it with the chroizo which was not spicy even though they say it is a little. My wife got the salmon Benedict which was very fresh and had a generous portion of salmon and the hollandaise was house made and really good.
The cozy cabin/house is adorable and has a great vibe overall. Note that it is small and tight, would be tough to bring any sizable group here, recommend reservations during the season. We got in on a Monday (Presidents’ Day) without one and it was full but didn’t seem to be a wait at any point.

Reservation - definitely need to secure one in advance. There were a few quirks with our party, and Jessica was soo kind and accommodating throughout, she set the tone for PARC in such a skilled way.
Ambiance - upscale, coat check, comfortable seating, beautifully set table and there were tasteful Valentine’s Day decorations
Service - Kelci our server was a master, he clearly knew the menu and provided thoughtful recommendations. He was also a wealth of knowledge on all things Aspen. John also worked our table, keeping our waters full and place settings perfect. The som was fantastic, and took the time to ask questions.
Food - loved every dish, everything a 10. The pasta feature was rich. Baby lettuces salad (the kitchen was able to split it to two plates) was likely the best salad I’ve ever had. For my main I had the Ribeye. I’m still thinking about every bite, so tender, perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor! The carrots were a perfect side dish. The desserts were rich and beautifully prepared, I so enjoyed the crème brûlée.

Our amazing evening started as soon as we walked in. We were there to celebrate my birthday, and upon giving my name to the hosts, I heard, “Happy Birthday!” The lovely young lady we gave our coats to echoed the sentiment. Our wonderful, friendly and professional server, Iva, repeated the same thing. I have celebrated my birthday in numerous restaurants over the years, but I’ve never experienced this level of care for the customer. One of the owners also came by to wish me a happy birthday, and I even received a hand written card and the dessert was comped!
The food was delicious and the menu was creative. We gobbled up the bread, enjoyed the rabbit schnitzel, and loved the Colorado bass, and apple pie bread pudding.
We have never felt so well taken care of at a restaurant. We hope to go back to Aspen next winter, and will make it a point to go back to Parc Aspen again!
Kudos to the owners and diligent, hardworking staff!

Duemani quickly became one of our favorite spots in Aspen—so much so that we went FOUR times within the first few weeks of our stay! This Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, with a special focus on seafood, truly knows how to deliver on fresh, balanced, and beautifully executed dishes. Every meal we had was an absolute delight, with each dish highlighting bold yet harmonious flavors that left us wanting more.
A few standouts for me were the Seabass Tempura—perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining tender and flaky on the inside. The Roasted Artichokes were another highlight, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. And let’s not forget the garlic toast, paired with a confited bulb of garlic. It was a simple yet brilliant touch that elevated the entire experience.
The ambiance at Duemani is another reason we kept coming back. The vibe is laid-back and loungy, ideal for winding down after a busy day in Aspen. The decor features clean lines and ambient lighting that creates a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere, making it the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely dinner with friends or loved ones.

This is a very high end, very expensive restaurant. We sat at the bar, with outstanding service. The espresso martini is outstanding, and the food was excellent. Out of 5 restaurants that we tried in Aspen, this was by far the most high-end and refined experience. Highly recommend.

Excellent experience all around. The plating was superb, and our favorite dish was the scallops—the unexpected flavor combination was a standout.

We were a party of 5 with two children. The service was impeccable! Our waiter explained how much to order for the table as it is a Family style sharing concept. Our waiter and the staff were all very professional and helpful. The value and quality was top notch! Is a must for larger tables and sharing many different wonderful items.

Service was superb and the food was unforgettable. Would give this place 10 stars if possible. The sea bass and lamb chops were delicious and perfectly prepared. The octopus salad was amazing and the octopus was so tender. The shareables of calamari and sea bass were outstanding; the batter for both were light and the accompanying sauces were out of this world. An absolutely must if you’re visiting Aspen!
