TERRIBLE SERVICE, probably the worst service I've come across in Costa Rica. I'm not sure if it was cause I was a tourist or what? It was completely empty except on other couple and they were having the same problem as me, they actually walked out cause they couldn't get service. Even though there were 3 girls doing nothing, I still had to get up and ask to order 2x. Finally ordered and it took forever, considering there was absolutely NO ONE there. Ironically a group that came in 15 min after me still got there food before me.
Food was meeh, nothing exciting and way overpriced it came to 10,000 colones for a water & chicken. Not authentic in my opinion I've been to Jamaica & Caribbean a few times. This food was blah....

By far the best meal we had on our vacation. Sara the owner welcomed us as if it was her own home. The view is spectacular and the food was A++++. She was so lovely and her son introduced us to a baby iguana. We just loved our time there and would have stayed all day if we could. The food was fresh - caught that morning. Las fotos del menú y precios que están aquí no corresponden con las del restaurante ni en precios y en algunas veces tampoco en platillos. Stop here on a Carnival Cruise and it is a very nice place we had a couple of dishes here that were just wonderful. Very delicious food. On the beach for swimming. There was a strong surf the day we were there so it would be hard to swim in that. Large waves coming in. Made for a great scenic view if not getting in the water. Get a taxi driver and have him take you out there and have lunch and spend the afternoon.

We took a quick trip to see Limon and after driving around town, we were struggling with where to find a good and safe place to eat. We saw this along the shore and stopped in.
Views are great, but staff practically ignored us when we came in. We seated ourselves and struggled a bit with giving the waiter our orders.
Food came after quite a while and we were disappointed. We’ve been eating great food in CR and this just wasn’t the same.
It all seemed greasy and overcooked.
When trying to go, we had to ask the waiter multiple times for our check. 30 minutes later we paid and left.

We came to Port Limon in Costa Rica. We found out that one of the best restaurants near the cruise port was Hotel Park. It was approximately a 10-minute walk from the cruise port. The hotel is 150 years old and it's been owned by three different owners first German, then Italian and now Chinese. The employees are mostly locals working in the restaurant and other services.
We were looking for lobster but due to the rough seas they haven't had much luck catching lobsters. We ordered a whole red snapper probably about pound and a half to 2 lb. We wanted it grilled and with a Caribbean sauce on the side just to make sure it wasn't too spicy for us. The sauce was made with a coconut milk base and was delicious. Not too spicy and the fish was outstanding, highly recommended We had the rice with mixed beans made with coconut milk. Not too sweet. Very good. We had green plantains fried which are called patacones. They were creamy inside and very delicious. For dessert, we had tres leches made with the local rum and it was one of the best I have tasted. I also had a soursop juice which was made with pulp from the fruit. Very tasty. My wife had Coke Zero which is better than the one we get back in the States. I highly recommend coming to this restaurant if you come to Port Limon because there's not a lot of other places I would eat. Hope you enjoy!

I took 2 pictures after we started eating, so they don't really show how good the food looked. The owner was very personable and a great host. Nice location overlooking the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica in Límon. We tried this place after reading a few reviews and it didn’t seem as crowded as some of the other places. Unfortunately, our experience was not good from start to finish. First, there was a large children’s birthday celebration going on that definitely interfered with diners. I understand restaurants host parties and various events for their guests, but this was extremely unbearable. My wife and I ordered Soursop (Guanabana) drinks that had plastic in them. We ordered a hamburger for our son and only to find out that they deep fried the hamburger so it wasn’t good at all. We also had nachos that were very soggy and totally soaked the very little nachos that were in the dish. Finally, I ordered a Casado with steak, onions, and peppers and it was good.
Service was very slow, and servers not attentive.
Overall, I will not be returning no time soon to give them some time to work out some of the issues we dealt with.
