This was an experience to remember.
I grew up in Barrie and felt like I’d been to almost every restaurant here, but somehow I hadn’t been to Il Buco, even though I’d planned to go for the last four years. Finally, I got the chance to visit with a friend a few days ago, and it was incredible. It didn’t just feel like dining—it felt like an experience. The atmosphere and design were beautiful, unique, and a perfect blend of classy and cozy. The service was efficient and friendly.
As for the meal, it was $45 for a three-course dinner. While there were hardly any vegetarian options, I wasn’t disappointed at all by the limited choices because each course was absolutely delicious.
The daily special was a chunky vegetable soup. I’ll confidently say that, even though I didn’t have high expectations for it, it was the best soup I’ve ever had (a grand but honest proclamation). It was aromatic and flavorful, with just the right amount of sweetness, and felt both Michelin-star-worthy and homemade—like a warm hug in a bowl.
For the second course, the only vegetarian option was risotto. The staff were friendly and kind, offering to accommodate my vegetarian preferences by preparing a different pasta dish not listed on the menu. However, I decided to stick with the risotto since it was already on the menu, and I didn’t want to cause extra effort for them, especially on what seemed like a busy night. The creamy mushroom risotto turned out to be incredibly filling, comforting, and rich—it also tasted like a hug.
While the first two courses perfectly balanced the comforting feel of homemade food with high-end restaurant quality, the dessert took a slightly more playful turn. The third course, a mixed-berry cheesecake, was a cute and delightful way to end the meal. Although it was my least favorite of the three courses, it was still delicious nonetheless.
I understand that the $45 three-course meal might seem a bit pricey, and I completely understand any hesitation. But if you have the opportunity to go, I highly recommend it. It was such an incredible experience that I felt compelled to leave this review (which I rarely do, despite dining out often).
(Side note: I believe that on other days, when the mandatory three-course menu isn’t in place, you can order single dishes from their regular menu.)

We had such a wonderful experience at Il Buco tonight. From the moment we arrived everything felt perfect. We got a really nice table with a beautiful view of the lake which made the evening even more special.
We ordered a house wine that was just perfect, a Caprese salad and the mushroom garlic lemon appetizer to start. Both were absolutely delicious. For our mains we had the chicken Florentina and the veal mare e monti, and they were both cooked perfectly and full of flavor.
For dessert we shared the tiramisu and crème brûlée with two Americanos, which wrapped up the night beautifully.
The service was amazing too. Our waitress kept checking in on us and made sure we were having a great time.
Big thanks to the whole Il Buco team for such a great experience. We’ll definitely be back.

Went with my girlfriend last night for a date night. Food was really good started with a Caesar salad and the roasted garlic, super delicious. Both of us got different pastas and they came out hot and fresh. Our waitress was lovely, very sweet lady. Absolutely amazing experience tonight at il buco. The food is some of the best (if not THE best) italian food i have ever enjoyed. You can tell everything is prepared fresh and the quality shows. For starter appetizer i had the calamari and shrimp puttanesca and the sauce was so flavourful i wish i had more. For my main course i had the veal mare e monti which had a delicious creamy mushroom sauce that paired perfectly with the rest of the dish. If i lived in town i would eat here atleast once a month. This was a true dining experience i wont surely forget anytime soon

The overall atmosphere from start to finish was phenomenal and our server Erica made the experience even more phenomenal. The food tasted amazing and both my husband and I were sad when we got to the last slice of our pie. We wanted it to last forever. I cannot recommend this place enough. It was lunch time at Pie Wood Fired Pizza Joint in Barrie and we headed for the patio because we were with out dog that day. We were a little hesitant, good thing they had a dog-friendly policy. Our hesitation quickly faded the moment we were greeted. The host immediately smiled and, without us even having to ask, directed us to a perfect spot on the patio where our dog would be comfortable and out of the way of the main walkway. They even brought out a water bowl for him before our drinks arrived, a small gesture that made a huge difference and truly showed their commitment to making every guest, including the four-legged ones, feel welcome.
Our experience with the food was just as impressive as the service. We started with pizza with generous amount of cheese. For our main course, we chose a custom pizza with half "The Big Mack" and half "The Fungi." The wood-fired crust was a masterpiece—crisp on the outside with a light, airy interior and just the right amount of char. The toppings were incredibly fresh and well-balanced. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and our server checked in on us and our dog a few times, ensuring we had everything we needed. The falafel bowl (salad) I ordered was basically dry, only the white sauce on top, I was disappointed with the lack of flavor in the falafel, and there were on three little falafel in the bowl which was dry mixed greens (no dressing).

Went to Lazy Tulip for brunch and it was such a cozy, warm little spot. The atmosphere feels super inviting, the kind of place where you can actually relax and enjoy your morning. Interesting spot for a breakfast. This is located inside an art gallery. The seating area has a fire place and the staff are very friendly. The service is excellent and the delivery of food was speedy with little to no wait time. It's unfortunate that none of the food is cooked on site and it's brought from a prep location. We ordered an item that "still hasn't arrived" from the prep location so we had to settle on a different selection. I would not visit again since I prefer a full kitchen restaurant.

Room for improvement! Firstly, our wait staff was very nice and efficient, but our meal left much to be desired. Upon entry, there were only 2 or 3 tables taken. We, as a twosome, asked for one of the multitude of tables of 4 so we'd have room for purses, coats and packages. It was 10:30 in the morning on a Wednesday and we were told it would be getting very busy soon, so we couldn't have a larger table. Understandable, however, when we left, there were still many available tables sitting empty, so feel our request could have been accommodated with the stipulation that if it got busy, they could pull one of the single tables over. As for the meal. After tax and tip, the classic breakfast came to $27. There was no choice of protein (only very chewy turkey bacon) or toast (dry/tough focaccia), the small serving of potatoes were greasy (not roasted as stated on menu), my bread order came buttered despite requesting none, the table had two salt shakers and no pepper, and the fruit salad had hard/unripened chunks of melon in it. The coffee was very good. Normally, I would not complain over one little issue, but added all together, I would definitely choose Evviva, Pur and Simple or Stacked over this for breakfast. Won't be going back unless they get their act together. Would love to see them succeed as I'd rather support a local business rather than a chain restaurant.

We have kids and they got a colouring book with crayons, a Cora-logo tattoo, and a nice drinking glass — they really loved the experience as well. This is one gem of a spot! If you haven't visited yet, do so! A group of my friends and I visited on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere is mello and inviting, and the desserts and hot drinks are delicious! The 5 of us ate dinner elsewhere that evening, and went to the symposium for dessert, unfortunately the other restaurant was too loud and far too busy for us to communicate; we regretted that we didn't eat dinner AND dessert at the symposium... We had a lot of catching up to do and our waitress didn't make us feel rushed, and was very attentive. The owner even made his rounds to our table to make sure we were enjoying ourselves.
This restaurant is kid friendly and wheelchair accessible. They have a liquor license and quaint bar. They also offer specials each day of the week. Sundays are buy one get one DESSERTS!!

I went to Symposium for their Friday special – Fish & Chips. I got the pc just to try it, and honestly, it was delicious and the price only $9.95 – such a great deal. I also had a coffee, and the total came to $13.20. Really good value overall.

The food was delicious, fresh, and the portions were very good.
There were three very friendly employees, all of whom seemed to be from India 🙂 Very attentive.

I usually only go to authentic Greek Restaurants because you can mess up Greek food.
And ya, about that rule.
I was in a pinch for some quick food and was in Park Place in Barrie so stopped in at Mr. Greek.
Nice folks working in there.
It’s mostly take out, but I dined in.
I had the signature Greek salad and a side of hummus and pita bread.
The salad was very average, not great, not bad.
The pita bread was fine but the hummus was way too salty.
I could not even finish it.

This place used to be good about two years ago. We ordered 4 chicken souvlaki dinners ($104) and the portions were small. Rice barely filled the place and we only received a few potatoes. Potatoes had no sauce and were white (see photo). Chicken was dried out and absolutely disgusting. My wife, daughter and son all decided to not eat and I forced it down since I was hungry.

I have visited this Mr. Greek location on several occasions, but the same issues persist. The waiting times are typically between 20 to 30 minutes, even for a simple wrap or salad.
Additionally, they frequently forget to include the sauces whether it’s the tzatziki, which is charged extra or requested on the side, or the dressing that comes with the salad. This has become such a recurring problem that i've heard people often advise each other to double-check their orders before leaving, as “they always forget the dip or dressing”. It has become so commonplace that the oversight no longer feels accidental, especially since the bag is often sealed, meaning these items may not be noticed until you reach your vehicle, home, or if you’ve ordered through a delivery service like Skip or Uber in which case, they rarely include the missing items.
It is quite frustrating to spend a considerable amount of money and still have to remind them about basic inclusions that are part of the meal or paid extra for.
Furthermore, lately the portion sizes have been smaller especially the kids meals, the chicken is often dry, and the overall food quality does not seem to justify the high prices.
Until the establishment addresses the ongoing issues with order accuracy, missing items and quality , I cannot recommend this location.. it simply isn’t worth the inconvenience.

My wife went in to order what we used to get....souvlaki on a bun. Only to be told they don't put it on a bun anymore. It's on a pita.
When I saw her walking towards the car, I was shocked at the small bag she was holding.
The food was the same great taste. But the size seemed to be half of what it was.

Had a nice stop in at the local Mr. Greek that went pretty well. All the food was delicious. The Classic Chicken with Rice and Vegetables will satisfy anyone. The rice was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The potatoes are a simple but perfect side and the Super Green Salad is a must try. The bits of 🍐 pear in the Super Green was an excellent touch.
All the ingredients were fresh, crisp and tasty. The chicken was freshly cooked to order. The Greek Salad starter was a great appetizer. The service staff was friendly, helpful and accurate. I only wish the A/C was turned up higher. I was sweating 🥵 the whole.

Loved my experience at this restaurant!
The staff was excellent and the food even better! The decor was fantastic. Made me feel like I was in Mexico.
I am not vegan but food for me is all about taste and they knock it out of the park. Hands down some of the best mexican food out there and for all the people on the fence about trying plant based foods. Do yourself a favour and be open minded to try new foods. You will be delighted that you did!

We were looking for a good Mexican place in Barrie and, since we eat halal, we hoped to find a nice fish taco spot — but we accidentally discovered Mexhico Restaurant instead. To our surprise, it turned out to be a fully vegan Mexican restaurant!
The owner greeted us with a warm smile and kindly let us know about the vegan menu. We decided to stay — and we’re so glad we did! What an excellent concept and experience.
We tried the Orchicas, vegan churros, chicken fajitas, Gringa, and the burger — and everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were vibrant, the food was fresh, and each dish had its own special touch.
The ambiance, music, and cozy warmth on a chilly autumn day, together with family, made it the perfect way to wrap up a Saturday. We left happy, full, and impressed.

Searching online for a new restaurant to visit whilst out of town we stumbled onto this gem.
Very welcoming, warm and friendly hosts. You can tell by the conversation that they are very genuine owners that really do want you to have the best experience possible. They sincerely care about ensuring you enjoy the food.
This was our first time visiting this restaurant but it will definitely not be the last.
The food was truly outstanding. We started with the nachos for the appy, then got the gringa and the cheesy steak tacos, then the churros for dessert.
Truly delicious... coming from out of town I wanted to order even more to bring back home!!!
I'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves Authentic Mexican food, whether you're plant-based or not, you will really enjoy this place.

I honestly was a little surprised how awesome this food was. I was a little hesitant to go in, because I knew it was a vegan Mexican restaraunt. I wish I threw that hesitancy out the window, it was fantastic!
We shared a few different mains, and the flavours and presentation was great. Service was friendly and quick, and the restaraunt was nice and clean.

I went in on opening day to support this new vegan spot. Its also all organic and non gmo. I had the Aztec bowl and it was amazing! The tempeh was especially delicious. I found the prices to be fair for what you get. All of my veggies were crisp and fresh. I will definitely be back very soon! Thanks for bringing this place to Barrie! :)

Great healthy plant based lunch option. I got the General Copper to go, and it was absolutely delicious. It’s quite pricy for the portion size, but the ingredients are quality and the taste was great. It’s worth paying a little more for good food. Would definitely recommend. I’ve been to this location many times and each time was amazing. However, yesterday I was able to host my bridesmaid proposal there and everything was perfect. Our section of the restaurant was great as we even had a little counter space to put my cake, and the bags I put together. The manager and all of the team members were welcoming, accommodating and very helpful throughout our time there. They went above and beyond to make the experience lovely for my girls and I. This continues to be my favourite brunch spot! Especially since it now holds an even more special place in my heart since I was able to have a special moment here for my wedding.

This is one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever been in. It’s absolutely gorgeous! ( even the bathrooms are impeccable ) It’s exactly my vibe and I loved it. The food was fantastic and the service very attentive. We really enjoyed our fancy brunch and would absolutely come back again for a special occasion as this comes at a premium cost. Such a cute cafe. We were seated immediately though we did confirm the availability as they are usually busy and we visited on a public holiday.
The food was heavenly. We ordered Nutella waffle. Their fries are to die for - probably the best I’ve ever had. The staff was kind and overall a lovely experience.

The ambiance of this restaurant is great and that is the extent of what was good about this restaurant. There were only 3 customers when I dined there. A couple and myself. They attended to me right away and brought me the menu. I asked for water and it took them about 15 minutes to bring to me.
The food was very basic, bland and lacked flavor. I ordered from their vegan menu and got their speciality Omelette that came with coleslaw, potatoes and slices of bread. I normally love potatoes and can eat them in any form, but these were so bland, no amount of sauce, salt or pepper could help me eat them. And the omelette. It was too thick, lacked any flavor at all and all the vegetables were raw. And the coleslaw itself just tasted like vinegar.
I had finished eating in 15 minutes and had to wait over 20 minutes for someone to show up for me to even ask for a bill, which is outrageous! We stopped by The Vegan Pantry in Barrie on our way to Arrowhead Provincial Park for camping, and it was the perfect pitstop! Tried their burgers, poutine, and jalapeño poppers, and everything was absolutely amazing. The burger, especially, was hands down one of the best I've had – juicy, flavorful, and super satisfying. Great Vegan spot for two kiddos who have very particular tummies. The dessert selection was what pulled us in. The kids got some cupcakes and brownie bars. I tried one of their Ah Caramels. It was delicious, but the darn thing was half the size of my head.
I also ate the whole thing in one sitting (we got the desserts to go with a picnic lunch) and I have to say it probably could have been portioned into four slices and lasted me a lot longer.
In hindsight, I wish we had tried their savoury options or secured something to go. They looked really good, but we already had our meals in a cooler. I guess we will have to try their other options next time.

This is definitely a gem of a place. We had the Big Pantry Burger and the Mild Maple Buffalo Chick'n Burger and they were both absolutely delicious and flavourful. We enjoyed the fact that the fries are air-fried and that cane sugar is used in the desserts. I also ordered a coconut and vanilla with toasted coconut birthday cake that had such a unique flavour and texture. It was heavy on the coconut flavour with hints of vanilla and just the right amount of sweetness. We were all impressed. I have so much respect for anyone who is able to create a menu with so many amazing dishes that are both vegan and gluten-free. The atmosphere is also very warm and cozy with beautiful Victorian architecture in the dining area. I'm grateful to have finally found a place that puts a healthy spin on such classic dishes. Tried the Vegan Pantry and couldn't have been happier. Firstly, the girl who served me was extremely friendly and very helpful as it was only my 3rd day into my vegan lifestyle. She took her time explaining things to me and seemed very happy to help. I had the jalapeno burger. The burger was great! Amazing flavour and I loved the air fries. My son had the poutine and he also loved it. We took home some cauliflower wings for the next day and a couple of "snickers" bars. The cauliflower wings were great. The snickers were HUGE and was absolutely amazing. Definitely couldn't eat one myself. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone. Even those who aren't vegan but love most foods. Will be back soon.

We ordered ahead, picked up a few warm meal options, along with two desserts. Everything was really good. We noticed some stuff did lack salt, so I had to go back in and ask for some. No big deal.

What a joke this place is! I normally go to Park Place and have ordered the bowls probably 100+ times in my life. I used to use uber eats a lot for the buy 1 get 1 free deal and noticed the portions were getting smaller. Anyways I just ordered buy one get one free Pangoa Bowls from here and they both came less than HALF full. I basically got less than 1 full size bowl. I would have been better off to go to park place and order 1 bowl at full price. I contacted uber eats about this and they told me im on my own so here I am to warn you don't go to this place! They skimp on everything and play stupid little tricks on uber eats to make you pay full price for less than what you would get normally. You just lost a lifetime customer. I normally go to the south end Park Place location which is great! However, I was in the north end today and stopped by that location for the Kale and egg bowl. It was absolutely gross. The eggs were cold and not scrambled, they were more like solid gelatinous clumps (pictured). There was no broccoli which is supposed to come with the meal. And again, the whole meal was cold which is not supposed to be the case. The utensil containers were filthy which did not help their case. I would not go to this location again!!

I ordered a Buddha Satay and it was 2/3rds full, the sause was basically water but they somehow got majority of the small amount of sauce it DID have on the edge of the bowl, And there was a total of 3 small broccoli florets in the dish. I wouldn't recommend.

I was really excited to try AvocoBar because I had heard lovely things! However I was a tad disappointed. I paid extra for pickled jalapeños & I only found a small few in the salad, as well as the chipotle chicken. I had the cilantro lime salad & all of the ingredients were fresh! But I found the dressing had little to no flavour & they were light on the added extras. I ordered online which was prompt & wash to use, however, I don’t think I would return based on this experience.

We went for the first time to Panara bread in Canada and it was excellent. We are used to ordering on a self serve kiosk but the gentleman talking orders was beyond great. Food was great and place was nice and clean. Our table had the Mac and cheese (so good we got seconds) a tuna sandwich and a veggie caprese sandwich. Highly recommend.

What an absolute joke this place is. The quality has gone way downhill the management is rude and doesn't want to deal with any kind of complaint and just brushes it off saying that's how Corporate wants it. I'm sorry but when you're advertising something I get it it's not going to look exactly like what's in the picture but I didn't even get what was close to me looking in the picture. Bagel is overcooked and hard no cream cheese on it the mac and cheese the noodles are hard from sitting there too long and the grilled cheese is like taking two pieces of bread and just melting cheese in them. I then asked for the phone number of the district manager and and the current manager that I was talking to got rude told me she wasn't talking to me anymore and hung up the phone how is that customer service. We were just passing through and needed a quick lunch. We read some Yelp reviews and decided on Boon Burger.
The place was quiet and empty on a weekday just after the usual lunch hours. We ordered some burgers and 2 sides, chili fries and regular fries.
The burgers were really good. Slightly on the cold and dry side but pretty good patties. The toppings were good and fresh and the bun was delicious. The bun did not stay together however and at least half the burger fell out while eating it. The fries were coated in sesame seeds and while they were good, they were also slightly cold and the portions for the sides were extremely small for the price. I liked the chili and the guac on the fries but I would not order them again as they were not at all worth it.
The interior had several booths and was pretty spacious. The service was okay. I found that it was way too hot inside and smokey for some reason. My eyes were burning and it was uncomfortable eating inside. If I came back to Barrie, I would probably just grab a burger to go.
Overall the experience was nothing special but compared to many other vegan burgers I have eaten, this was probably in the top 2.

BEST vegan food I've ever had!!! My brother and I stopped by and absolutely enjoyed it here. We ordered the awesome fries, caesar salad, double black bean burger with cheeze sauce and pho soup. It was so filling and just what I needed after a 23-hour flight. One of the staff even gave us extra sauce on the side for the leftover fries (which disappeared as soon as we got in the car).
Being celiac, it can be disheartening finding gluten-free options, but the staff was super accommodating and as soon as I picked up a menu, loaded me with options. Thank you so much for the lovely (and delectable) experience! :) Will be back!

We stop here regularly on our way up north from Etobicoke to Muskoka. Staff are always friendly and the food is decent; tasty, filling and always fresh. On our most recent visit the staff were exceptionally good with our kids (3x kid’s quesadillas ordered) preparing them first and serving with care. We enjoyed our burritos too. I was in the mood for tacos and this location was right beside the hotel I was staying at.
I ordered the soft taco trio with shredded beef. I took a look around and the place looked pretty clean. The staff who were preparing the food were pleasant. I did enjoy the tacos they were very tasty. I thought they may have had a hobanaro mayo or hot sauce selection. The toppings were fresh and looked good. Just wanted to share something that happened to me so that it doesn’t happen to anyone else: I was at home eating my burrito from Mucho Burrito, when I bit into something very hard that hurt my teeth. When I felt the resistance and pain I immediately let up and inspected the burrito, which is when I realized there was a large piece of what is either very hard plastic or metal in my burrito.
This is extremely disappointing and I am very upset. The most frustrating part of this experience was that my Fiancé was met with so much hostility and issues when he tried to use his student SPC card to get the free chips and dip. The employees fought him relentlessly on this subject and weren’t properly educated on their own stores protocols and procedures. They were doing so all while having multiple SPC stickers surrounding them and the building. To have this much of a fight for chips and dip only to later bite into a piece of metal/hard plastic while eating the burrito is truly pathetic.
In regard to the piece of metal/hard plastic found in the burrito, understand that this could be a one off and single event, however, I did want to warn the community as this could mean that they have equipment that is currently broken or breaking— and there could be more pieces found in other people’s burritos. This also means that whoever is eating the Pulled Pork is clearly eating fragments of this material, as they did not use any utensils while assembling my burrito— which means this was already lodged into the meat well in advance.
I am extremely upset and extremely disappointed. I will not be returning to this location again and would rather make the drive to a different location then support this one.

I tend to eat at Mucho Burrito when I’m out of town and need something reliable. I’ve never had a bad experience until visiting this location. I’m shocked that I didn’t get food poisoning. I opted not to get guacamole as it was so brown it had turned. I asked if there was a newer one and was told it looked the same. I also opted not to get cabbage as it was super old and dried out. Visited Fionn MacCool's, an Irish pub, for a family meal. Enjoyed the food and had a minor issue with one dish which was promptly resolved by the attentive staff. I attended the Shawarma day on Oct 15th. As expected the line up was out the door. I chose to order off the app at 6:21pm. I was given a pick up time of 7:01pm. We returned for our pick up at 6:58. The place was jammed. There was no direction regarding where to get the pick up (it turns out it was not at the obvious pick up location near the door).
We did not receive our order (2 items) until 9pm, 2 hours after our scheduled pick up time. I understand it was busy and it would take longer to receive our orders than normal. Had the app had a corrected time for pick up this would not have been an issue. Also there was no way to get an estimated pick up time before placing the order so had I not been ok with the wait there was no way to make the assessment before I placed the order, and then there was no way to cancel the order once placed.
One of the most frustrating things is after 8pm those who had recently ordered were getting their pick up orders, while those of us who had been waiting for an hour or more were kept waiting with no information regarding how long it may be, in fact there was no communication at all. There was nothing done to make up for the extra wait even after 8pm when they started serving others significantly faster while we continued to wait and it appears as though they had lost our orders. While I will agree that the food is good, this customer experience was not acceptable. There is no reason why I should have to wait for 2 hours for my food when those who ordered later received their food after 15-20 mins or less.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had such a great experience at Osmows that I had to share. I visited the place this Monday at 10 pm and the food was fresh, tasty, and hit the spot but what really stood out was the service.
There was a girl with glasses and she was incredibly kind and welcoming. You could tell she genuinely cared about the customers. She made sure everything was just right and created such a friendly vibe that it made the whole visit even better.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Mucho Burrito. For $16, I expected a much better meal, but what I received was a complete ripoff. The portion sizes were ridiculously small – they gave barely any rice and less than a spoonful of beans. The selection of only 4 toppings felt very limiting, and even with lettuce being one of them, it was served in such tiny amounts that it was almost laughable.
When I asked for sauces, they were applied so sparingly that it was honestly embarrassing. I felt like I was being charged a premium for what seemed like an afterthought of a meal. Definitely not worth the money. I won't be coming back.

A super pleasant experience of a veggie Teriyaki Twiist Bowl on BOGO offer and admittedly my best experience with Freshii by a long stretch after other visits gave me bad vibes and memories.
A vibrant and fresh Buddha bowl with plentiful portions, fresh and crisp veggies, dope satay and a solid portion of super yummy wholesome ingredients. Totally changed my perception and I'd happily grub here every day when the food is this dope.

They have a set menu with amazing options, allowing you to choose a protein (so perfect for healthy meat eaters AND vegetarians), and there is also a 'create your own' option where you can build a complete original from the ground up, lol. As well, there are smoothies and wraps and Chia puddings to fill you up.
I absolutely love Freshii and highly recommend them for anyone looking to eat more healthily ❤️

The rice was undercooked a bit, and the edamame was a bit tough...that said they give you free samples...I just wish they trained their staff better on advising the customer on what to get rather than just upselling you to their most expensive bowl as pretty sure the guy who served me did...pretty sure it was the owner who was advising me as well so while it was an okay experience I do not think I will return to this location...
As an aside, their toppings for the most part were extremely fresh and tasted nice overall...

I usually like Fat Bastard Burrito, but this location was TERRIBLE. I wish I'd read the reviews first. My small burrito was tiny and missing a lot of ingredients. When I called, the staff member was rude and told me not to order from them again if I didn't like it. That's not how you treat customers. On Friday evening, we placed an order for four burritos. Unfortunately, the quality of the food and the service we received were unacceptable. Two of the burritos were completely burned, all were missing ingredients, and despite requesting mild hot sauce, each burrito was overwhelmingly spicy to the point of being inedible.
When we contacted the store directly to address these issues, the staff refused to offer any resolution and instead told us to deal with Uber Eats—despite the fact that the problems were clearly related to how the food was prepared, not the delivery. After contacting fast bastard as requested 4 weeks ago I still havent heard back from anyone at the company. This is after writing two separate emails and contacting the company on social media. This is absolutely unprofessional. Way to make a terrible experience even worse. It really shows that the terrible customer service goes beyond the horrible experience we had at this particular location.

Absolutely terrible. I usually come here with my mother, and the experience is always amazing, but this time, the employees (a woman and a man) were incredibly rude and the food tasted fine, but portioning was bad. I placed an order on Wednesday, July 9th at 10 PM and ordered a quesadilla as part of their Buy One Get One promotion. What I received was NOT a quesadilla in any sense—just a folded plain tortilla with barely any cheese and a few onion and pico inside. Literally nothing.
Thinking it was a mistake, I called the store only to be told they intentionally didn’t include any toppings because it was a promotional offer. Seriously? So a BOGO means you give customers half the food and call it a day?
This is not just misleading—it's borderline deceptive. Nowhere was it mentioned that the BOGO quesadilla would be stripped of all ingredients. If I wanted a sad, empty wrap, I would’ve made one at home.
I've enjoyed Fat Bastard Burrito in the past, but this kind of behavior is unacceptable and shows a serious lack of respect for paying customers. If you can’t honor a promotion without cutting corners to this extent, don’t offer it at all.

Disappointed and frustrated.
I visited Fat Bastard Burrito on July 10th at around 6:30 PM at bayfield location to pick up a DoorDash order I had placed in advance. The entire experience was extremely disappointing. The staff member handling my order was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional.
There was no basic courtesy or engagement — just an arrogant attitude and poor communication.
I had ordered a rice bowl, but what I received looked like a lettuce bowl, completely wrong for what I paid - over $14 after tax. When we politely asked about it or tried to clarify a few things, the staff just snapped back with,
"That's the portion size," and continued to ignore us. It honestly felt like we were being a burden rather than customers.
It left me feeling cheated, disrespected, and incredibly frustrated. l've had decent experiences at other locations before, but this one was hands down the worst service l've received at any food place recently.
Definitely rethinking if I ever want to come back.

Tried teryaki experience for the first time. The taste was good, i was not expecting much and didn't have high hopes when i went there, but i was surprised. The serving size was decent as well! However, i didn't like the place much to dine in if I ever decided to try it again. It was hot inside, humid and dark. The tables were not clean and sticky. I saw a fly or two as well. The workers didn't seem to be too interested in doing work and semeed too low on energy or turned off that day, which actually impacts a restaurant vibe. They didn't wipe down tables and were simply probably passing time. One worker sat on the table and started watching reels on the phone (could hear it) when they could actually have cleaned the space.
Anyhow, the chicken in the noodlebox had more fat content than the chicken meat itself? Does that make sense? It was rubbery and little shredded pieces of chicken probably overcooked. Didn't like the quality of chicken. The palce smelled bad as well.

Awesome!! We adore the Chopped Leaf!! I wish they had more locations! We have had a number of their salads and bowls now. My 2 top favourites are the Spinach Power Salad and the Bangkok Salad. My husband's favourite is Spinach Power Bowl. We both also like the Santa Fe Salad or Bowl. This location assembled the Spinach Power Bowl for my hubby even though it isn't available anymore as a menu option, but they have all the ingredients for it. I always add spinach as an extra topping to my Bangkok salad
We left happy and satisfied! The salads and bowls are so fresh with excellent dressings! They fill the salads and bowls with lots of toppings.
