Prince Edward Viaduct has so much history over the years and when I look up at it, walk under it I'm thinking of all the lives lost. Troubled souls that used this location to take there own lives. There is nothing attractive and or beautiful about any of it except for the Pink colored lights at night. Over the past 40 years I've lived here we use to know what happened and when. After so many lost they finally put up the barricades to prevent further tragedy. Still to this day walking under the Prince Edward Viaduct brings back so many memories of our past.

Our favorite place for a night drive after a day of dance lessons at Access Ballroom. We love it how the bridge lights up at night, with the gorgeous views of the Toronto skyline and Don Valley Parkway. We even got inspired and had to park nearby to dance some Bachata on the bridge. :)

Great river for paddleboarding. Started at Old Mill and made my way down to Lake Ontario. Great way to spend some time afterwork to take in the relaxing scenery. Note, the water is quite murky in the river. You'll see a whole array of wildlife. Beavers, ducks, swans, geese and even lynx! Weekends are sometimes like the 401... packed with paddlers. You can venture along the breakwall once at Lake Ontario. Visit Sunnyside Beach or even go as far as Ontario Place. Pack some water, munchies and don't forget the sunscreen! Chorley Park is a quiet place packed with trees and trails, perfect for clearing your mind, jogging, or walking a dog. There’s lots of space to explore and a handful of great views. I came here during autumn when the trees were beautifully coloured and will definitely be returning in time for the other seasons. As I was driving to check out the famous Inglewood Drive to see the famous giant inflated Santa Claus, I unexpectedly stumbled upon 2 cool places along the way. First, Douglas Drive has many residents showcasing their giant inflated snowman. Second, I found the Chorley Park, it looks fabulous.
It’s situated near some quiet residents and tons of trees with nice paths around the park. You could also spot cars on the Don Valley Highway beneath it with this high lookout viewpoint seeing things from above. This is a hidden gem for sure. It’s quiet and peaceful, such a beautiful neighourhood.

I lost over 60 dollars to goto Niagara Falls the bus doesn't leave there till 4 pm. I am visiting toronto. So sad no way to get a refund. I thought was buying for a different bus company megabus which was the direct route. Horrible experience they need a better system for accidental purchase. Huge building, ask for directions if you are from out of town. Different sections if you traveling by bus or subway and directions posted are not that clear. Dont use the presto app for tickets, rather pay for one at the terminal its way easier to manage. Don't buy a prepaid ticket through PRESTO. Check the overhead boards for departures .. gate number only appear 15min before your bus arrives.

This trail leading up to the park is amazing. I highly recommend people take a walk along it. A lot of cyclists but not too bad. Once you come up to the park you're greeted by stone gargoyles from Old Toronto buildings, just left discarded by the side of the river. Makes for a magical moment.

Someone once threw a chair out of their condo on this road . Which is dangerous. Probably wasn't boring that day though.

I give the park and the Lower Don River Trail 4 star for it's natural beauty and the way it's kept untouched at the heart of the city.
But I got one star back because there are no seats or any washroom facility along the trail (unless we get further off the trail).
I understand that we don't want to disrupt the natural environment by construction, though, at least seats along the trail at safe places and environmentally-friendly structures and washrooms do help to attract more people and the ones who can't walk long trails without getting rest along the way on seats.
This good trail also needs more access by providing more entry paths to the park from all neighbourhoods around the area.

Perfect place for a Park with so much foot traffic and or bikes traveling the trails of the Don River. Just needs some picnic tables for the summer months. We made our way from Riverdale Park West today and hiked along the Don River up as far as Pottery Road and so much has changed over the years. I miss that wooden structure that we used to walk or bike on that passed under the bridges. Now the trail takes you away from the 2 bridges and no sign of the past.

It is a beautiful bridge with amazing views over the neighbourhood and the city - but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with even slightest fear of heights - the stairs to Dundas West street are quite scary (even for somebody who is acrophobia free, they feel a bit uncomfortable). the stairs railing is quite low too - if you are with younger children there, make sure to hold their hands.

My favourite bridge in the city. The ultimate metal bridge/CN tower view you can get. I cross this bridge almost daily and really happy with the renovation. I stop by regularly to snap a photo. Read the history behind this bridge it is interesting. Drove there and went around and up and down every street trying to find a place to park. Ended up walking 20 minutes to the bridge with my new camera and gear and tripod. The station is okay at best. It's situated at bloor just west of the don valley and has connections to buses southbound but the infrustructure itself isn't very nice. There's only a upward escalator and there's no elevator for the disabled. The second exit is ONLY an exit and the stairs are super dirty and abandoned. It's kind of useless. Seeing this bridge from Portland and Front and connecting to the CityPlace area, it's a lovely view to see the busiest railway corridor in Toronto. I had a great time here and discovered this place near the workplace only recently! I'm a birder and was hoping to get lucky with the birds this area has. Since it gets dark early I go to this park after work instead of the one near our place. To catch an hour to go birding before it gets dark. Lots of bikers pass the trail so better stay alert as some don't give warnings that they are behind you. Was thinking of bringing my scooter and go discover what's in both ends of this trail and in between within the trees. Place is clean and beautiful. Not sure though if there really is no allotted parking lot or I have not discovered it yet. I parallel park close to the entrance and so far I get lucky to find a spot at the curb. Can't wait to go birding here during the spring!

It is a pretty little bridge; it would have been great in the 1800's but it really isn't meant for car traffic, cyclists and pedestrians to cross over. Get rid of the cars and make the fat old men walk it. One of them nearly took me out riding over the bridge. Either that or place a seperate bridge there for cyclists; pedestrians. Try and think like people do in the 2000's city planners!
